<p>Former MMA fighter, Green Beret, and founder of humanitarian rescue organization <a href="https://saveourallies.org/pages/our-story" target="_blank" rel="noopener">SaveOurAllies</a>, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tim-kennedy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tim Kennedy</a>, detailed the reality of what&#8217;s going on in Israel and the Gaza Strip on the latest episode of the Ben Shapiro hosted “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/sunday-special" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Sunday Special</a>.”</p>
<p>Discussing the current conflict, Shapiro noted that Palestinian civilians were crossing the border on October 7 &#8220;and taking part in the massacre and taking part in the atrocities.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The attempt to create moral equivalence between what Hamas did and what Israel is doing in the Gaza Strip is astonishing. I can see that as a commentator,&#8221; Shapiro continued. &#8220;But you obviously have the military expertise and military experience. You&#8217;ve been in these situations. What exactly is it that Israel is facing in the Gaza Strip?&#8221;</p>
<p>Kennedy, who was on the ground in Israel in the days following the October 7 attack for rescue operations, explained to Shapiro that Israel&#8217;s task of taking out an insurgency, and the way they are doing it, is &#8220;historically nearly impossible&#8221; due to the nature of the terrorists&#8217; actions.</p>
<p>&#8220;What we see Israel trying to do right now is identify military targets that are in Gaza, that are the Hamas terrorist organization,&#8221; the decorated veteran said. &#8220;We don&#8217;t want to just leave October 7 as the standalone thing that has happened because that&#8217;s intellectually inaccurate and historically wrong. Hamas has a long history of attacking Israel on countless occasions &#8212; not just intifadas, not just big assaults and attacks and the things that we saw on October 7, and terrorist attacks. But it has been a constant execution of this long plan of trying to incite Israel so they&#8217;ll lose in a propaganda battle.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Israel is trying to do the right thing, they&#8217;re just doing it the wrong way, and this is just my opinion,&#8221; Kennedy explained. &#8220;They are trying to limit as many civilian casualties with a group that are intentionally hiding amongst civilians, and a populist that, frankly, is sympathetic to Hamas.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;When Hamas was returning from the attacks to the Palestinians, into Gaza, what we saw was rejoicing in the streets,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;They were excited about the success of the attack. They were getting constant updates inside of Gaza. And you can find the videos, you don&#8217;t have to trust my word. You can go and look at the Palestinians rejoicing at the death of 1400 people, taking out 200 captives; the rape, torture, and murder of children and Holocaust survivors. It&#8217;s atrocious.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;And Israel now has to go block by block, door by door, fighting an embedded insurgency,&#8221; he explained. &#8220;And they&#8217;re trying to do it in a way that is acceptable to the world. And that&#8217;s the problem right there, Ben.&#8221;</p>
<p>Kennedy went on to explain the difficulty of current battles between democratic nations like the U.S. and Israel and insurgencies, such as what we see in the Gaza Strip.</p>
<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re not going to be able to fight the state-on-state thing that we so desperately have been wanting to fight,&#8221; Kennedy said. &#8220;The last time America was truly a dominant aggressor in a war was in WWII. Since then, we have not really decidedly won any wars. And it&#8217;s because of what&#8217;s happening here in Gaza &#8212; it&#8217;s a perfect example of it. They&#8217;re not fighting by the rules that Israel is fighting by. They&#8217;re hiding in hospitals, they&#8217;re hiding behind women, they&#8217;re intentionally taking their military equipment and positioning it at schools. These are the things that terrorist organizations and insurgencies do. And these are not the things that a proper military would do.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;So it&#8217;s a hard battle, and every time that you try to take a block, you&#8217;re of course going to incur civilian casualties, because the bad guys are hiding with the civilians intentionally and using them as human shields,&#8221; he said. &#8220;So any time an Israeli soldier tries to move to try and find insurgents, of course there&#8217;s going to be a civilian casualty because that&#8217;s what Hamas wants, and that then continues this revolving door of propaganda. So it&#8217;s a real tough situation that Israel&#8217;s in right now.&#8221;</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who has made a career post-football by bemoaning what he sees as systemic racism in America, accused his adoptive-white parents of racism, prompting MMA fighter and Special Forces vet Tim Kennedy to fire a withering response.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Interviewed on &#8220;CBS Mornings” regarding his new autobiographical graphic novel “Change the Game,” Kaepernick stated, “Growing up I was a — I think, still am a pretty introverted person. &#8230; I know my parents loved me but there were still very problematic things that I went through. I think it was important to show that, no, this can happen in your own home and how we move forward collectively while addressing the racism that is being perpetuated.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">In the graphic novel, Kaepernick writes that he wanted cornrows like his idol, Allen Iverson of the Philadelphia 76ers, prompting his white adoptive mother to ask,“He’s getting what rolls?”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Oh, your hair’s not professional,” Kaepernick told Adriana Diaz of “CBS Mornings.” “Oh, you look like a little thug.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Your mom said that to you?” Diaz asked, shocked.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Yeah. And those become spaces where it’s like, okay, how do I navigate this situation now,” Kaepernick replied. “But it also has informed why I have my hair long today.”</p>

<p>&#8220;Thankfully American eyes never got to see the horrors that took place on the ground in Afghanistan,&#8221; Kennedy began. &#8220;I mean, watching people fall from an aircraft is horrific &#8230; I&#8217;m not understanding how — better that was than what was actually happening on the ground.&#8221;</p>
<p>Kennedy then pivoted to address Biden&#8217;s claim that there would not be helicopters evacuating Americans from the roof of an embassy, arguing that what actually happened was so much worse than that would have been.</p>
<p>&#8220;So trying to make a claim that this is not going to happen, you know, we&#8217;re not going to have helicopters pulling people off the roof, it&#8217;s just not true,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;You know, there were burning bodies, there were dead babies hanging from concertina wire.&#8221;</p>
<p>Cohosts Kayleigh McEnany and Harris Faulkner both audibly gasped at the mention of dead babies.</p>
<p>&#8220;The things of absolute nightmares were happening all around us, every single place that you looked,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It&#8217;s something that hurt us on the world stage, it&#8217;s something that hurt us with our enemies and our allies. Everybody looked to us and realized how vulnerable we really are — you know, it&#8217;s the first time that you saw Superman bleed — like the first time in a long time that we recognize how dangerous a position that America was, and Afghanistan amplified that.&#8221;</p>

<p>On Thursday, former UFC fighter Tim Kennedy, a Ranger who was assigned to the 7th Special Forces Group, where he served as a sniper, sniper instructor, and the principal combatives instructor for C Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group, responded to those critical of his efforts to rescue people in Afghanistan.</p>
<p>Kennedy began his Twitter thread by acknowledging that his critics had the right to say whatever they wanted: &#8220;I appreciate that some people are upset with my presence in Afghanistan. I have no desire to lash out. I assume they are trying to accomplish their missions the same way I am trying to accomplish mine, and I love them for it.&#8221;</p>

<p>Tim Kennedy, the famed UFC fighter who served in the army and later in the 7th Special Forces Group where he was a sniper, sniper instructor, and the principal combatives instructor for C Company, 3rd Battalion, deploying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, said Special Forces members that he spent time with this week were furious about the Nike ad with Colin Kaepernick in which Kaepernick said he had &#8220;sacrificed.&#8221;</p>
<p>Speaking to TMZ, Kennedy began, &#8220;There are problems. There are huge problems in the city; urban problems, police problems, crime problems, and they have to be addressed and something needs to be done about it, but not by disrespecting the flag and somebody making a few million dollars off a sponsorship. Come on.&#8221;</p>
<p>When TMZ asked, &#8220;Will you wear Nike ever again?&#8221;, Kennedy responded, &#8220;No, no.&#8221;</p>
<p>Kennedy continued by describing the atmosphere when Special Forces members saw the Nike ad:</p>

<p>And then we walk in with a new Nike poster that&#8217;s going to sell at Hot Topic or Barnes and Noble or wherever it&#8217;s going to be a sell at.</p>

<p>Kennedy added disgustedly, &#8220;Talkin&#8217; about giving sacrificing, you&#8217;re just like, &#8216;Oh, man!&#8217;&#8221;</p>
<p>TMZ asked, &#8220;So these guys are aware, even though they&#8217;re training and they have a lot of stuff going on, the guys you were in contact with, they&#8217;re aware of Colin Kaepernick and the Nike ad and they&#8217;re infuriated by it?&#8221;</p>
<p>Kennedy answered, &#8220;I&#8217;m not going to speak for them, but there was no one happy about it in the room.&#8221;</p>
<p>Kennedy added, &#8220;Let&#8217;s talk about sacrifice: I&#8217;m in a room of a bunch of heroes that went in a heartbeat to die for Colin&#8217;s right to do what he&#8217;s doing. That&#8217;s sacrifice. I&#8217;m not talking about giving away some position even though I&#8217;m not good enough to fill it because I&#8217;m not very talented as a quarterback; I just want to keep my name in the news; I&#8217;m just gonna keep talking about it; I&#8217;m not talking about that.&#8221;</p>
<p>He concluded: &#8220;I&#8217;m talking about real heroes. And I&#8217;m surrounded by a bunch of them right now.&#8221;</p>

<p>After <em>Deadspin</em> editor Tim Marchman <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/news/12808/deadspin-editor-insults-cruz-challenges-cruz-hank-berrien">blustered</a> that he would fight any Ted Cruz supporter, tweeting, “Not one Ted Cruz-supporting cuck/Twitter user is willing to face me in the UFC octagon,” he was challenged by MMA fighter Tim Kennedy, who <a href="https://twitter.com/TimKennedyMMA?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">was also</a> a UFC Fighter, Ranger, sniper, and Special Forces Operator, when Kennedy replied, “I&#8217;m your huckleberry. I also take note that you are a pathetic cyber bully. My email is tim@rangerup.com I&#8217;m available at your leisure.”</p>
