<p>A child <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sexual-abuse" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sex abuse</a> lawsuit has been dropped against comedians <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tiffany-haddish" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tiffany Haddish</a> and Aries Spears.</p>
<p>The former plaintiff, a young woman known only as Jane Doe, filed a notice of dismissal with prejudice on Tuesday.</p>
<p>“My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years – and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us,” Jane Doe in a statement. “We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.”</p>
<p>The suit claimed Haddish and Spears abused two siblings; a female when she was 14 years old (Jane Doe) and the girl’s brother when he was seven (John Doe). On both occasions, the children were allegedly told they were acting, once in a sketch called “The Mind of a Pedophile.&#8221;</p>
<p>It was alleged that Jane Doe, now 22, was encouraged by Spears and Haddish in 2013 to mimic the motions of oral sex for a comedy skit.</p>
<p>The teen was allegedly made to watch a skit of coeds “moaning and making sexual noises” as they both ate a sub sandwich “in a manner that simulated the act of fellatio.” Spears then allegedly told the girl “to mimic what she had seen on the screen, including the noises precisely like what she heard throughout the video.”</p>
<p>John Doe was allegedly touched inappropriately by Spears a year later, when he was seven years old, according to the now-dismissed suit.</p>
<p>Both Haddish, through legal representation, and Spears have denied the allegations since the suit was filed, likening the legal move to a monetary shakedown.</p>
<p>“Plaintiff’s mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years,” Haddish’s attorney, Andrew Brettler, dismissed the accusations in a <a href="https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/story/2022-09-01/tiffany-haddish-aries-spears-child-sexual-abuse-allegations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a> to the Los Angeles Times. “Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down.”</p>
<p>Haddish took to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CiIKTS2Pdcx/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y%3D" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram</a> herself to address the claims. “I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you,” she wrote.</p>
<p>“Unfortunately because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now,&#8221; the &#8220;Girls Trip&#8221; actress continued. &#8220;But, clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all — and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”</p>
<p>“This is an extortion case,” Spears <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CiMoNDHIIom/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=c5905ada-6517-4b65-89b8-87a0bc612783" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reacted</a> to the suit on the “Spears &amp; Steinberg” podcast. “This is a shakedown. <p>Comedians Aries Spears and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tiffany-haddish">Tiffany Haddish</a> are speaking out after a bombshell lawsuit accusing the pair of child <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sexual-abuse">sex abuse</a> was filed last week.</p>
<p>The suit claims Haddish and Spears abused two siblings, a female when she was 14 years old and the girl’s brother when he was seven. On both occasions, the children, dubbed Jane Doe and John Doe, were allegedly told they were acting.</p>
<p>“Listen, obviously for legal reasons, I really can’t, uh, talk about anything at this time,” Spears <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CiMoNDHIIom/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=c5905ada-6517-4b65-89b8-87a0bc612783">said</a> in a clip of the “Spears &amp; Steinberg” podcast. “But I just more or less want to say to all the loyal listeners, thank you guys for your support and for your love.”<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>

<p>“I tried to mimic what they wanted me to mimic, but it still came out just super uncomfortable,” Jane recalled to the Daily Beast. “I knew when I left the booth that I didn’t complete what they wanted me to do.”</p>
<p>The girl was allegedly paid $100 by Haddish and sent home.</p>
<p>Jane’s brother was allegedly touched inappropriately by Spears a year later, when he was seven.</p>
<p>The boy’s family was told the child was filming content to show Nickelodeon, but he ended up in a comedy skit that briefly ended up on “Funny or Die,” titled “The Mind of A Pedophile.”</p>
<p>The Daily Beast watched the content in question and said the skit includes Haddish playing the child’s guardian; she leaves him with Spears, who is playing a pedophile.</p>
<p>The boy is in his underwear during the sketch, as Spears looks at him through cut out holes in a newspaper, the report describes. The camera then zooms in suggestively on the child&#8217;s buttocks and crotch while he&#8217;s at play.</p>
<p>Next, Spears sprays baby oil onto the child’s back and massages the boy&#8217;s shoulders. Further in the sketch, the child plays with a train in a sexually suggestive manner and Spears smokes a cigarette while watching the child nude in a bathtub.</p>
<p>The skit ends with the text, “WATCH WHO YOU LEAVE YOUR KIDS WITH!”</p>
<p>“Funny Or Die found this video absolutely disgusting and would never produce such content,” a statement from Funny or Die said. “We were not involved with the conceptualization, development, funding, or production of this video. It was uploaded to the site as user-generated content and was removed in 2018 immediately after becoming aware of its existence.”</p>

<p>“Plaintiff&#8217;s mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years,” Brettler said. “Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down.”</p>
<p>“Now, Ms. Morris has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit,” the attorney added. “The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action.”</p>
<p>Spears&#8217; attorney, Debra Opri, <a href="https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/story/2022-09-01/tiffany-haddish-aries-spears-child-sexual-abuse-allegations">told</a> the Times her client “isn&#8217;t going to fall for any shakedown.”</p>

<p>Comedic actress Tiffany Haddish may have some children floating out in the world due to eggs she donated years ago.</p>
<p class="speakable">Though the 41-year-old actress still has no children of her own, she has been taking parenting classes so that she can adopt a child soon. Speaking with E!, she revealed that she may have &#8220;some kids&#8221; already.</p>
<p>&#8220;Here goes something everybody don&#8217;t know, I&#8217;m gonna tell you: When I was 21, I was really hard up for some money and I gave up a bunch of eggs,&#8221; <a href="https://www.eonline.com/videos/322535/tiffany-haddish-taking-parenting-classes-in-order-to-adopt">she said</a>. &#8220;So who knows, I might got some kids out here in these streets.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I doubt it, though, because I never got the bonus. Maybe somewhere though, in cryo somewhere,&#8221; she added.</p>
<p>When it comes to her possibly getting pregnant, Haddish said it would be an act of God because she has &#8220;taken the precautions to protect me.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m taking parenting classes now to adopt,&#8221; Haddish said. &#8220;I’m looking at [age] five and up – really like seven. I want them to be able to know how to use the restroom on their own and talk.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I want them to know that I put in the work and I wanted them,&#8221; she added.</p>
<p>Though Haddish has previously donated eggs, she will not undergo surrogacy.</p>
<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t want to pay nobody to carry my baby neither, because then I have to go through the process of giving myself injections,&#8221; she said.</p>
<p>Last year, during the Black Lives Matter protests and the riots that followed, Haddish said that racism made her afraid to have children, fearing they could be &#8220;hunted or killed.&#8221;</p>
<p class="endmarkEnabled">“I’m a little older, and people are always like, ‘You gonna have a baby? When are you gonna have some babies?’” the 40-year-old Haddish <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/pop-culture-news/tiffany-haddish-says-racism-makes-her-fearful-raising-children-n1235208">said</a> on Carmelo Anthony’s YouTube series “What’s In Your Glass.” “There’s a part of me that would like to do that, and I always make up these excuses like, ‘Oh, I need a million dollars in the bank before I [do that], I need this, I need that.’ But really, it’s like, I would hate to give birth to someone that looks like me knowing that they’re gonna be hunted or killed. Like, why would I put someone through that?”</p>
<p>“I am not a fearful person, but, like, I have watched many of my friends — not many, but more than two — of my friends growing up be killed by police officers, and it makes you feel like, ‘Dang, as a black person, we’re being hunted,’” she continued. “And I’ve always felt like that. We’re hunted, and we’re slaughtered. And it’s like they get this license to kill us, and that’s not okay.”</p>
<p>Carmelo Anthony said that being a father to black children amid racism is “scary to even think about.” Haddish said that not having such a thought is a luxury for white people.</p>
<p>“And white people don’t have to think about that, that’s something they don’t have to think about,” Haddish said. “And [so I talk] about that, and how we have to come together as a community and work as a unit. And maybe we don’t all agree on the same things, but we need to just find some common ground and move forward as human beings.”</p>
