I am a woman with no breasts. I haven’t had a normal female body since I was 20-years-old, but it’s not because of a tragic accident, birth defect, or cancer. My body was born healthy, my breasts grew fine, and in most ways I am a normal 28-year-old. As developmentally appropriate, I dream of finding a mate, getting married, and having children, but this natural ambition has been delayed because instead of learning the necessary life skills to mature into adulthood, my teens and early twenties were spent in hell.
I grew up in a spiritual body modification cult: transgenderism.
A quirky tomboy on the autism spectrum, I didn’t dress or act like other girls my age, and with my emotional struggles with severe depression and anxiety, I believed I would make a bad mother and never wanted children.
In fact, I thought I made a terrible girl in general. I never wore makeup or felt pretty, and I related only to male characters in the media. Puberty, along with social awkwardness and alienating idiosyncrasies, was rough and lonesome. By the time I was 14, my Tumblr blog was my sole source of connection.
True Christian families would have provided more patience, love, and acceptance, but my father was not a Godly man. Emotionally weak and tyrannical, my father raged and tormented me for most of my adolescence, calling me worthless, disgusting, and unwanted. While he screamed and laughed I locked myself in my room, in tears. Though Catholic and compassionate, my mother failed to protect me, and the abuse endured.
Besides the hidden abuse, my Midwestern family was of typical democratic persuasion, supporting increased public school funding, feminism, and gay marriage. Along with my dad’s abusive messages, I absorbed Leftist views, and when joining Tumblr was ecstatic to participate in social justice causes like Black Lives Matter, smashing the patriarchy, and of course, queering one’s gender.

I was 15 when I came out as nonbinary, a revelation that felt like my androgyny and nonconformity were finally appreciated. Tumblr activists rejoiced. My Left-leaning advanced English teacher who ran the school’s Gay-Straight Alliance club validated my “genderqueer” identity, and my progressive peers sympathized with my unconventional appearance under the queer label.
In my naivety, I thought gender identity would free me from the conventional standards of femininity that I had always rejected. I wanted to be loved as an eccentric personality, not be the helpless female victim that both woke discourse and my father instilled was my destiny.
Though I was suicidal with untreated PTSD from childhood abuse, gender ideology and its well-intentioned but ignorant leftist champions taught me that distress around my body and identity meant I was trans, that gender dysphoria could only be cured through medicalization.
At my LGBTQ-inclusive college, my trans-identifying professor of “Sociology of Sexuality” groomed me into the body modification cult ritual of injecting testosterone. I was prescribed the steroid at 19 in a one hour appointment — the compassionate LGBT clinic nurse practitioner nodding along with the hoax that if a patient is suicidal with gender issues, they must urgently need hormones, not counseling which is slandered as “conversion therapy.”
The “life-saving care” predictably caused a mental breakdown as my body masculinized and I mentally deteriorated. Then, after only seven months of HRT, I was approved for surgery. At 20, before I was legally old enough to buy alcohol, my breasts were sliced off and thrown in the trash. It would be two more years of trauma living as a trans-identified “gay man” before I would be correctly diagnosed with PTSD and realize that I was never a boy, just a wounded girl. I was always meant to be a woman. At 22 I began detransitioning, and I wasn’t alone.

Since 2019, I and other detransitioners like <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/author/chloe-cole" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chloe Cole</a>, Prisha Moseley, and Ritchie Herron have blown the whistle on transgender “health.” Victims have found their voices, exposed their scars, and formed coalitions across the world via the free speech app X.
Detransitioners connect with concerned parents, professionals, and journalists in independent media who are mortified to learn that the unthinkable has happened in Western nations–brainwashing, mutilation, and sterilization of mentally ill children and vulnerable young adults.
How did liberalism cannibalize itself so abhorrently?
Like the currently trans-identified, detransitioners were once quirky individualists who believed in the progressive promise of a free and just society, one where the disenfranchised were accepted, helped, and raised up into a diverse rainbow of love and tolerance. We advocated for bodily autonomy, mental health awareness, and voted blue no matter what, just like good, responsible citizens should. So we thought.
The Left failed its vulnerable. It lied to autistic, confused, mentally ill teens telling them their bodies were wrong, and society was somehow to blame. The Left made it “transphobic” for a therapist to question a mentally ill patient’s irrational beliefs, but “inclusive” for educators to teach that “male” and “female” are outdated and hurtful.
As I awoke to the horrors of what was done to my body in the name of progress, I also awoke to the callous nihilism of the Left overall. Queer ideology is anti-progress, anti-human, anti-reality. Through grueling years of daily therapy and healing in my mid twenties I not only became ex-trans, but ex-Left. As I studied interpersonal abuse dynamics like those I grew up in with my dad, I saw the same pattern of manipulation and gaslighting occur from the Left when my friends or I spoke of detransition. Immediately upon realizing the illusions we suffered, in the eyes of our former comrades, we become Right-wing bigots, subhuman.
For the raw, comprehensive story of why girls transition and how to detransition and recover, I have written a memoir releasing in late 2025, “Surviving the Trans Myth.” Detransitioners take healing from the biggest medical scandal of our time into our own hands, as the love from leftist institutions evaporates once their facade is exposed.
The Left claims to care about trauma victims, but detransitioners prove otherwise. I have tried to publish articles and do interviews with leftist outlets but have been met with worse than ignorance–avoidance, denial, apathy.
Once an emotionally-dysregulated queer activist who thought Trump would slaughter the trans population, I was hurt over the cultist&#8217;s “conservative” accusations until I realized some things are worth conserving.

The film explains the hydra of gender ideology and its history, exhibiting how it crept into every institution and exploded into online youth culture, while following personal stories of detransitioners’ struggle for self-acceptance, parents Adam Vena and Harrison Tinsely who lost custody of their sons for not affirming their trans identity, and professionals like Dr. Joe Burgo, a psychotherapist who despite being an expert on shame, cannot treat gender dysphoric patients without losing his license.
As for me, the night I watched <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/identity-crisis">Identity Crisis</a> debut and saw my trauma on the big screen was a bittersweet coalescence of grief and gratitude.
Though I’ve moved on from the cult, nihilism, and mental illness, acknowledging the magnitude of loss will always create some self-doubt about fulfilling my dreams. After the film ended, I cried for the woman I could have been:
“I just want to be a normal woman. I want to have a normal, feminine, beautiful body. But I never will.”
My sexual organs were removed because nobody cared to help me process my childhood abuse that made me direct hatred inward. I am thankful to be the woman I am, but this was all unnecessary.
If there is one lesson I’ve learned from leaving the Left, it’s that the Right must step up where the Left has failed. Conservatives have an opportunity to offer a counter-narrative that prioritizes safeguarding children and promoting thoughtful, evidence-based approaches to gender issues.
Here are a few steps the Right can take:

<li>Advocate for Responsible Policies: Speak on legislation that ensures patients receive thorough mental health evaluations before accessing medical interventions. Protect parental rights while fostering environments that encourage open dialogue rather than ideological conformity.</li>
<li>Support Detransitioners: Create spaces where detransitioners can share their stories without fear of judgment or erasure. Acknowledge their experiences as survivors and offer healing from whatever toolkit you have.</li>
<li>Promote Mental Health: Address the root causes of gender distress — including social isolation, sexual confusion, and mental health issues — rather than colluding with the transition placebo.</li>
</ul>
Detransition is a testament to human resilience and the desire for growth even in the face of immense pain and loss. My story is not just a cautionary tale but a call to action. It is a plea for compassion, responsibility, and courage from all sides of the political spectrum.
The fight for a healthier, stronger, and more truthful life starts with us.

Two high school girls in Louisiana were charged with lying to police after they attempted to frame a male teacher they claimed was sending inappropriate messages to a student.
The two girls, who have not been named because they are minors, were charged with one count each of false swearing for the purpose of violating public health or safety (a felony), cyberstalking, and online impersonation, according to <a href="https://www.lpso.net/2025/01/06/two-high-school-girls-charged-for-trying-to-frame-teacher-for-inappropriate-messages/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a press release</a> from Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, Sheriff Craig Webre.
“Our juvenile detectives are diligent and take claims of inappropriate behavior very seriously,” Webre said in the press release. “They are, however, equally serious about false claims. Someone’s life can be instantly ruined by a false allegation, and I am proud that our investigators were able to get to the bottom of this. Technology has made it very easy for people to try to manipulate the truth, but technology also makes it easy for investigators to ultimately find the truth.”
On December 18, the sheriff said, someone reported to the police that a male teacher at Central Lafourche High School had been sending inappropriate messages to a 16-year-old girl who was a student. Upon investigation, detectives found that the 16-year-old and her 15-year-old friend had conspired to frame the teacher.
At first, the two girls said they had received inappropriate messages from the teacher through an online instant messaging platform. Over the next two weeks, detectives investigated the claims, interviewing everyone involved and searching their phones and accounts on the platform.
Detectives soon learned that the two teen girls had created fake accounts impersonating the teacher and used those accounts to send bogus messages. They then sent screenshots of those messages to their friends to frame the teacher.

Detectives were able to prove that the male teacher had not sent any of the messages or photos the girls claimed he sent, and one of the girls eventually confessed to the crime. The sheriff’s office declared the teacher to be the “crime victim” and stated that he “has been cleared of all allegations,” something rare when it comes to false accusations.
Both girls were charged on January 6 with falsely reporting a crime to police, cyberstalking, and impersonating the teacher online. They were released into the custody of their parents but were placed on electronic monitoring, the sheriff’s office said.
“We are shocked and appalled to learn of the actions of two of our students,” Lafourche Parish Schools Superintendent Jarod Martin said in the press release. “The allegations against one of our teachers were false and malicious, and we appreciate the efficiency of investigators in uncovering the source of these messages. Such attacks on a teacher’s credibility and reputation are concerning and can inhibit their ability to effectively educate our children. We are committed to investigating all allegations of misconduct in order to provide a safe environment conducive to learning and working for all of our students and staff.”

An Indiana man has been found guilty of killing two teenage girls near a hiking trail in Delphi back in 2017 in a case that gained national attention.
Richard Allen, 50, was found guilty Monday on two counts of murder and two counts of felony murder in the killing of 13-year-old Abby Williams and 14-year-old Libby German, CNN <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/11/us/delphi-murders-trial-verdict/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. The jury spent 19 hours deliberating across three days before coming to the decision.
“Regardless of what the verdict is, people aren’t going to be happy,” said Special Judge Frances Gull before reading the verdict, WTHR <a href="https://www.wthr.com/article/news/crime/delphi-girls-murdered/jury-has-reached-a-verdict-delphi-murders-trial-richard-allen-libby-german-abby-williams-deliberation-liberty-abigail-guilty-or-not/531-d6b210da-905d-44b7-8e5c-fa28fef0a4c2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
Allen faces up to 130 years in prison for the murders and remained emotionless while the verdict was read before being comforted by his attorneys. A gag order was placed on the case, so attorneys cannot speak about it until after Allen’s sentencing on December 20. Allen’s attorney did not respond to a Daily Wire inquiry about his likely appeal.
Libby’s grandmother, Becky Patty, cried and hugged family members as she left the courthouse. Outside, people reportedly cheered the verdict while others showed support for Allen, who many believe did not receive a fair trial and may be innocent.
Allen’s wife, Kathy, told WTHR that the legal case “isn’t over at all.”
Carroll County Prosecutor Nick McLeland, in his opening and closing statements, alleged that Allen is the man seen in a video taken by Libby telling the girls to go “down the hill.”
The video was recorded as the girls crossed the Monon High Bridge. Their bodies were found nearby the day after they went missing.
“I believe the evidence is firmly convincing that Richard Allen is ‘Bridge Guy,’ and he killed Abby and Libby,” McLeland <a href="https://www.wthr.com/article/news/crime/delphi-girls-murdered/closing-arguments-jury-deliberates-day-18-delphi-murders-trial-suspect-richard-allen-libby-german-abby-williams/531-3a06e7f9-0c91-4124-b569-897742869704" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> jurors, WTHR reported.
The prosecution also pointed to confessions Allen made while in jail, though his defense attorneys have long claimed those confessions <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/delphi-murder-suspect-allegedly-confessed-to-murdering-teen-girls-defense-says-confessions-cant-be-trusted" target="_blank" rel="noopener">can’t be trusted</a> because of Allen’s failing mental health.
Defense attorney Brad Rozzi used his closing statements to point out the issues with the prosecution’s case, including the lack of DNA or weapons evidence tying Allen to the crime, as well as a timeline he says doesn’t line up.
“The defense trusts what you’ve heard over the past several weeks is more important than what you’re hearing today,” Rozzi said.

Defense attorney Andrew Baldwin previously argued that the state’s investigation was botched and that cell phone evidence shows Allen couldn’t have been the one to kill the girls. Baldwin said the prosecution claimed the girls were killed by 4 p.m. on February 13, 2017, and their bodies were not moved prior to their discovery the next day. Allen, who admitted to being on the trail the day the girls were killed, left the area by 2:15 p.m., according to his legal team, citing phone records.
The prosecution also claimed an unspent bullet found at the crime scene came from Allen’s gun, but the round is commonly used by law enforcement, and no officer’s gun was tested in connection to the case. The idea that a mass-produced bullet cycled through a mass-produced gun could create a unique marking is also suspect, according to Stephen Gutowski, a certified firearms instructor and reporter who founded The Reload.
“The forensic techniques used by crime labs to match specific guns to specific bullets have come under heavy scrutiny in recent years,” Gutowski <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/unsealed-probable-cause-affidavit-explains-how-police-linked-richard-allen-to-2017-delphi-murders" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> The Daily Wire in 2022. “So, I think it’s important to examine claims like this with a healthy dose of skepticism. The idea you could match a mark on the rim of a casing to a specific gun’s extractor seems dubious to me.”
The case was also <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/legal-drama-continues-ahead-of-delphi-murder-suspects-trial" target="_blank" rel="noopener">plagued by drama</a> behind closed doors, with accusations of impropriety flying from both sides, as well as at and from the judge.

A teenager from Orlando committed <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/suicide">suicide</a> following an intense relationship with an <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/artificial-intelligence">A.I. generated</a> chatbot made to resemble the “Game of Thrones” character Daenerys Targaryen, prompting his family to file a lawsuit this week against the company that created it.
The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/lawsuit">lawsuit</a> accused the Character.AI software of being “dangerous and untested,” adding that it can be used to “trick customers into handing over their most private thoughts and feelings.”
Fourteen-year-old Sewell Setzer III developed a relationship with the chatbot over several months, his family said, frequently engaging with the character to get advice and seek companionship, per <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/23/technology/characterai-lawsuit-teen-suicide.html">The New York Times</a>. The outlet noted that Setzer did not think the bot was a real person, but despite that, he started isolating himself from the outside world and spending more time interacting with it.

“I like staying in my room so much because I start to detach from this ‘reality,&#8217;” the 14 year-old wrote in his diary. “I also feel more at peace, more connected with Dany and much more in love with her, and just happier.”
The teen stopped playing online computer games with his friends or participating in other hobbies. The outlet noted that Setzer had been diagnosed with a mild form of Asperger Syndrome, which is a condition on the autism spectrum.
When Setzer started doing poorly in school, his family enrolled him in therapy, where he was diagnosed with anxiety and disruptive mood dysregulation disorder.
Setzer’s mother, Megan Garcia, blamed the company for not having safeguards in place for users. She said her son discussed suicide with the bot and also had sexual conversations. 
Garcia said her son believed that dying would bring him closer to the bot, which is what he expressed in some of their final conversations. She said her son was “collateral damage” in a “big experiment” conducted by the platform Character.AI.
“It’s like a nightmare. You want to get up and scream and say, ‘I miss my child. I want my baby,’” she told the outlet.
Character.AI safety head Jerry Ruoti told The Times that the company would institute more safety features. “This is a tragic situation, and our hearts go out to the family,” he said in a statement. “We take the safety of our users very seriously, and we’re constantly looking for ways to evolve our platform,” Ruotie said, adding that “the promotion or depiction of self-harm and suicide” are banned on the platform.

Social media giant <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/meta" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Meta</a> announced on Tuesday that its platform Instagram will be instituting new privacy settings that are &#8220;built-in&#8221; for teenagers&#8217; accounts.
After facing criticism for an apparent lack of safety surrounding minors&#8217; Instagram accounts, Meta <a href="https://about.fb.com/news/2024/09/instagram-teen-accounts/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> the new &#8220;Teen Accounts&#8221; will protect young social media users while putting the parents in control. Teen Accounts will &#8220;limit who can contact them and the content they see&#8221; by keeping minors&#8217; accounts private, meaning other Instagram users cannot see posts from or contact a Teen Account unless the teenager accepts their follow requests.
&#8220;We know parents want to feel confident that their teens can use social media to connect with their friends and explore their interests, without having to worry about unsafe or inappropriate experiences. We understand parents’ concerns, and that’s why we’re reimagining our apps for teens with new Teen Accounts,&#8221; Meta said in a statement. &#8220;This new experience is designed to better support parents, and give them peace of mind that their teens are safe with the right protections in place.&#8221;
Earlier this year, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg — along with the leaders of TikTok and X — testified before Congress on how his social media empire was addressing concerns from users and parents about privacy and the effects of social media on children. In one <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/im-sorry-for-everything-mark-zuckerberg-faces-families-harmed-by-social-media" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tense exchange</a> during the hearing, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) asked if Zuckerberg wanted to apologize to the families of children who were victimized by people on social media.
&#8220;I’m sorry for everything you have all been through. No one should go through the things that your families have suffered,” he told some of the families who were in attendance.
Under Instagram&#8217;s new Teen Accounts, teens will be shielded from any messages from people they are not &#8220;already connected to,&#8221; according to Meta. Additionally, Teen Accounts will be limited in the type of content they see on Instagram as the app&#8217;s &#8220;sensitive content control&#8221; will further limit content that shows &#8220;people fighting&#8221; or content that &#8220;promotes cosmetic procedures.&#8221;

Meta added that it will &#8220;automatically turn on the most restrictive version of our anti-bullying feature, Hidden Words, so that offensive words and phrases will be filtered out of teens’ comments and DM requests.&#8221; Teen users under 16 years old will now have to add a parent or guardian to their account if they want to change any of the built-in privacy settings.
Teen Accounts will include time limit reminders, telling young users to close out of the app after 60 minutes each day, and all notifications will be muted between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Meta said it will enforce this new change by requiring teens to &#8220;verify their age in more places.&#8221;
&#8220;Teens may lie about their age and that’s why we’re requiring them to verify their age in more places, like if they attempt to use a new account with an adult birthday. We’re also building technology to proactively find accounts belonging to teens, even if the account lists an adult birthday,&#8221; Meta said. &#8220;This technology will allow us to proactively find these teens and place them in the same protections offered by Teen Account settings. We’ll start testing this change in the US early next year.&#8221;

The man accused of killing two Delphi, Indiana, teenagers back in 2017 has lost his latest bid to remove the trial judge from his case.
Attorneys for Richard Allen, 51, had attempted for a second time to get Special Judge Fran Gull removed from Allen’s upcoming trial, citing bias against the defense. Their latest attempt argued that Gull had violated court policies by failing to rule on two defense motions within the 30-day time frame, the Journal &amp; Courier <a href="https://www.jconline.com/story/news/crime/2024/07/19/delphi-suspect-richard-allen-judge-frances-gull-abigail-williams-liberty-german-odinism-odinists/74474116007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
The attorneys argued that due to Gull’s lack of a ruling, the case must be withdrawn from her, and a new special judge must be appointed by the Indiana Supreme Court. Justin Forkner, chief administrative officer of the Indiana Supreme Court, disagreed.
&#8220;However, Mr. Allen is mistaken, and the matter should not be removed from the trial court,&#8221; Forkner ruled on Friday.
Forkner argued that Allen’s attorneys should have filed to remove Gull shortly after the 30-day deadline passed, not several months later, though nothing in the cited Indiana <a href="https://www.in.gov/courts/iocs/files/pubs-trial-court-failure-to-rule-on-motion-and-delay-of-judgments.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Trial Rule 53.1</a> suggests such a deadline.
In March and April, Allen’s attorneys filed motions seeking hearings to allow the defense to present evidence that law enforcement made false statements in its affidavit that resulted in Allen’s arrest in October 2022.
The refusal to remove the judge is the latest drama in an already contentious legal case. Allen is charged with the kidnapping and murder of 13-year-old Abby Williams and 14-year-old Libby German on a hiking trail in 2017.
In May, Judge Gull <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/delphi-judge-declines-to-hold-defense-attorneys-in-contempt-but-calls-them-incompetent" target="_blank" rel="noopener">refused</a> to hold Allen’s defense attorneys, Andrew Baldwin and Bradley Rozzi, in contempt following allegations from Carroll County Prosecutor Nicholas McLeland. Gull did, however, call the defense attorneys “incompetent” during her ruling.
Gull said that McLeland “proved by a preponderance of the evidence that defense counsel was sloppy, negligent and incompetent in their handling of discovery material.” However, she added that the prosecutor failed to prove “beyond a reasonable doubt” that the attorneys were “willful and intentional” in their actions.
But she also agreed with defense attorneys that McLeland failed to show they should be held in contempt because they violated a gag order. McLeland’s evidence of this was a statement the attorneys made before the gag order was put in place.
Judge Gull also previously forced Allen’s defense attorneys to withdraw by threatening to harm their reputations in open court. The attorneys withdrew but filed a petition to represent Allen pro bono. Judge Gull then barred them from representing Allen in any capacity.
The transcript, <a href="https://www.wthr.com/article/news/crime/delphi-girls-murdered/delphi-murders-trial-transcript-released-conversation-richard-allen-attorneys-disqualification-judge-chambers-libby-german-abby-williams-indiana-case/531-2878bbc2-4e2d-429a-b13e-89a0aa72b467" target="_blank" rel="noopener">first obtained by WTHR</a>, shows that the judge planned to remove the two attorneys before she publicly announced their withdrawal.
At the meeting, which included McLeland, the group discussed <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/attorneys-for-man-suspected-of-killing-delphi-teens-withdraw-from-case-after-security-breach" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a leak of documents</a> from Baldwin’s office, but Judge Gull stated that was not the only reason she wanted the attorneys removed from representing Allen. Gull said the attorneys “potentially” violated the Rules of Professional Responsibility. She told Baldwin he was “grossly negligent” for sending a sensitive email to a “Brad” who was not Rozzi, and questioned whether the two attorneys had fully cooperated with a gag order she had filed. She also said she had evidence the attorneys “left materials all over a conference-room table, accessible to anyone.”
The defense attorneys have also tried to have Judge Gull removed previously, to no avail. Prior to this trial, the defense attorneys had not been accused of incompetence or contempt.

Delphi Murder Suspect Loses Latest Bid To Remove Judge From Case

A female teacher in Arizona has been charged with sexually abusing a teen boy who had been missing for months.
Robyn Rogers, 44, was arrested on July 11 and charged with three counts of sexual conduct with a minor, hindering prosecution, false reporting to law enforcement, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, AZ Family <a href="https://www.azfamily.com/2024/07/12/lake-havasu-city-woman-accused-having-sex-with-underage-runaway/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
The victim, who is 17 and hasn’t been named, reportedly ran away from home on February 14 and hadn’t been seen since. Police officers, following several leads and tips that said the boy may have been staying at a home in Lake Havasu, Arizona, went to the home and spoke to Rogers. Police believed Rogers was hiding the victim, and while they were talking to her, he fled out the back of the house. Officers pursued and took him into custody.
Police reportedly said Rogers and the victim had a sexual relationship and that she was helping him avoid police.
Rogers taught at the charter school Telesis Preparatory Academy, according to local outlet <a href="https://www.havasunews.com/free_access/havasu-teacher-cheer-coach-charged-with-sexual-conduct-with-runaway-teen/article_7a58dbfe-40a3-11ef-ac2f-fb491eb38c03.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Today’s News-Herald</a>. A page listing her as a member of the school’s staff has been removed as of Friday, the outlet reported. The page previously said she was the school’s athletics liaison and a board of directors liaison, as well as a teacher in life skills and child development. She also served as the school’s cheerleading coach. It is unclear whether the victim was a student at Telesis.
Telesis Superintendent Sandy Breece said, &#8220;The staff member is no longer employed at our school. We do not have any additional information.&#8221;
Rogers was held on a $25,000 cash bond for the three charges pertaining to sexual conduct with the victim. He received a secured bond of $5,000 for the remaining charges, the News-Herald reported.
It is not clear if she has retained an attorney or entered a plea, People Magazine <a href="https://people.com/ariz-teacher-accused-of-sexually-abusing-boy-who-d-run-away-from-home-8678736" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.

Surgeon General Vivek Murthy is calling for a mandatory warning label on social media, warning users about the mental health risks for teenagers.
In an opinion <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/06/17/opinion/social-media-health-warning.html">article</a> for The New York Times published Monday, Murthy said he wants a surgeon general’s warning on social media platforms similar to the warning labels that appear on tobacco and alcohol products. The tobacco warnings have been shown to &#8220;increase awareness and change behavior,&#8221; Murthy said.
“The mental health crisis among young people is an emergency — and social media has emerged as an important contributor,” Murthy wrote.
“It is time to require a surgeon general’s warning label on social media platforms, stating that social media is associated with significant mental health harms for adolescents,” he said. “A surgeon general’s warning label, which requires congressional action, would regularly remind parents and adolescents that social media has not been proved safe.”
The mental health crisis among teenagers has been partly driven by social media’s explosion over the last decade or so, during which the <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/teen-mental-health-cdc-girls-sadness-violence-rcna69964">rates</a> of teenage depression have skyrocketed, especially among girls.
Murthy noted that adolescents who spend more than three hours on social media a day have twice the risk of anxiety and depression, and teens, on average, spend longer than this, about 4.8 hours a day on such platforms. Nearly half of teens say &#8220;social media makes them feel worse about their bodies,&#8221; he added.
Murthy also called on Congress to pass legislation to protect young people from online abuse, exposure to “extreme violence” and sexual content, and to bar social media companies from collecting “sensitive data” from children and require them to limit features like push notifications, autoplay, and infinite scroll. He also said social media platforms must be required to share their data on health effects with the public and submit them to independent safety audits.

Murthy also placed some of the responsibility on parents to protect their children from the negative effects of social media, calling on them to wait until after middle school to allow their kids to use social media and not allow phones at meals and social gatherings.
Murthy added that schools should also keep classrooms free of phones.
“Why is it that we have failed to respond to the harms of social media when they are no less urgent or widespread than those posed by unsafe cars, planes or food?” Murthy wrote. “These harms are not a failure of willpower and parenting; they are the consequence of unleashing powerful technology without adequate safety measures, transparency or accountability.”
“The moral test of any society is how well it protects its children,” he said.

There’s religious adherence to the Pride flag during Pride Month, that most holy month.
In Spokane, Washington, they decided to paint a crosswalk with the Pride Progress flag.
You might think there would be a problem painting a crosswalk with Pride Progress flags because people walk and drive over it. It is a crosswalk.
It turns out there was a group of three teenagers who were on Lime electric scooters doing wheelies on the Pride Progress flag and then got caught on tape doing that.

They were arrested and charged with first-degree malicious mischief. They could go to jail because they did wheelies on the Pride Progress flag.
It was later reported they were also doing wheelies in other areas of town as well. 
But — Thou Must Not Have Any Other Gods Besides The Pride Progress Flag. This religion must never, ever be faced with dissent.

Two of the three teens were underage, and they&#8217;ve not been named. So apparently, Lime is now announcing it will be implementing a no-go zone around that crosswalk, which means a scooter driven over the mural will be shut down remotely.
Everyone has to tiptoe right around the Pride Progress flag that&#8217;s on the ground.

The situation in Spokane is like the child’s game “The Floor Is Lava,” except the floor is the Pride Progress flag. Don&#8217;t walk on it. Don&#8217;t do it. If you do, you will be punished.
A press release from the city of Spokane <a href="https://my.spokanecity.org/police/news/2024/06/06/multiple-arrests-make-after-downtown-pride-mural-is-vandalized/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stated</a>, “Officers observed widespread damage as black scuff marks consistent with scooter wheels were observed across the entirety of the mural. The area is clearly marked to keep traffic away as it was just re-painted to repair previous damage.”
“Attached to the [press] release were two photos demonstrating the extent of the damage, both of which showed faint black marks on the street painting consistent with thin tire marks,” The Publica <a href="https://www.thepublica.com/lime-scooters-will-now-shut-down-if-driven-over-pride-flag-crosswalk-in-spokane-wa/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. “The alleged vandalism, which was claimed by many to be motivated by homophobia, resulted in an outpouring of condemnation from Spokane’s LGBT community and those purporting to be LGBT allies.”
A local journalist complained he had seen other teenagers running over the pride mural crosswalk while he was reporting. He state, “A group of five to six kids just started doing donuts and creating skid marks on the Pride Mural.” He said they were also doing wheelies.
As we all know, there are no skid marks anywhere in America on roads. None.
If you don&#8217;t want people to drive on some image, don’t put it on the road. It feels like you&#8217;re daring people.
This is not the first time this has happened. In February, a 19-year-old was arrested after performing burnouts with his truck on a Pride crosswalk in Delray Beach, Florida. He was charged with felony criminal mischief.
This is so tiresome. Not to mention the fact that the media ignore cases where pro-life centers get burned down.
But step on a Pride Progress flag on the sidewalk and they’ll arrest you.

A teenager who allegedly helped desecrate a World War I memorial in Central Park earlier this week was handed over to police by his father on Thursday night and charged with multiple crimes.
The 16-year-old anti-Israel protester — who allegedly spray-painted &#8220;Gaza&#8221; on the memorial honoring Americans who bravely fought in World War I — has been charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and making graffiti, a misdemeanor, The New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/05/09/us-news/anti-israel-protester-16-arrested-for-vandalizing-central-park-wwi-memorial-after-father-turns-him-in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Operations Kaz Daughtry posted a blurred photo of the teenager in handcuffs after his father had turned him in.

Police sources told the Post that the 16-year-old has no prior arrests and attends Tottenville High School, which is located on Staten Island.

Video of the protesters defacing the memorial and burning an American flag showed no signs of police presence at the memorial as many NYPD officers were dispatched to prevent anti-Israel protesters from getting close to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where A-list celebrities attended the Met Gala on Monday night.

One of those arrested was 35-year-old Manolo De Los Santos, a career agitator who has spent time in Cuba, the Post reported. De Los Santos is the leader of the radical nonprofit group The People’s Forum (TPF), which encouraged anti-Israel demonstrators to recreate &#8220;the summer of 2020&#8221; when George Floyd demonstrations turned into violent riots in many cities across the country, according to the <a href="https://freebeacon.com/campus/anti-israel-group-encouraged-columbia-protesters-to-recreate-the-summer-of-2020-hours-before-students-stormed-a-building/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Washington Free Beacon</a>.
