Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) endorsed Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner, whose chest was once adorned with a Totenkopf tattoo, the infamous &#8220;Death’s Head&#8221; symbol utilized by the Nazi SS, after leading the charge to crucify Pete Hegseth during his confirmation process over his &#8220;Deus Vult&#8221; tattoo.

For context, Deus Vult is a centuries-old Christian phrase meaning &#8220;God wills it.&#8221; To Warren and the pearl-clutching Left, this Latin expression of faith was &#8220;associated with right-wing extremism&#8221; and therefore disqualifying for public service.
&#8220;You were also removed from President Biden&#8217;s inauguration because of concerns that you were an insider threat after reports that your &#8216;Deus Vult&#8217; tattoo &#8216;was a Christian expression associated with right-wing extremism,'&#8221; Warren wrote in January 2025. &#8220;We cannot have a Defense Secretary whose fellow servicemembers feel concerned enough about to report as a potential insider threat.&#8221;

Yet Warren is now backing Platner, a man who literally wore a Nazi symbol on his skin. While Platner now claims he was just a &#8220;very inebriated&#8221; Marine who picked a &#8220;terrifying-looking skull&#8221; off a wall in Croatia, his own former political director, Genevieve McDonald, wasn&#8217;t buying the &#8220;oops&#8221; defense. When a conservative veteran has a Christian tattoo, Warren sounds the alarm on &#8220;extremism.&#8221; When a populist Democrat has a Nazi-affiliated tattoo and a history of praising communism, she calls him the &#8220;real deal&#8221; and a &#8220;fighter.&#8221;
For Elizabeth Warren, the &#8220;threat&#8221; isn&#8217;t found in the symbols of history’s most hateful regimes; it’s found in anyone who disagrees with her political agenda. If you’re a Republican, a Latin phrase is a hate crime. If you’re a Democrat, a Totenkopf is just a youthful indiscretion.
It’s a masterclass in left-wing cynicism, proving once again that for the senior senator from Massachusetts, &#8220;standards&#8221; are only something you apply to your enemies.

Democrats are in a tough position in the Senate races in 2026, as there are few vulnerable seats for Republicans.
One of those vulnerable seats was supposed to be in Maine, where Susan Collins, who is a Republican senator from a very purple to blue state, looked to be vulnerable against the Democrats. The Democrat chosen to run by the party was Graham Platner.
Graham Platner is a Bernie Sanders acolyte. He&#8217;s a far-leftist.
And now he is in trouble.
He’s in trouble because he is a radical, insane communist who seems to like Nazis. I don&#8217;t know where all this fondness for Nazis is coming from, but it does seem like a bizarre number of people are kind of into the Nazis these days.
The reason this is coming up is because Graham Platner apparently released a video showing him shirtless when he was drunk at some sort of event, and displayed a Nazi symbol tattooed on his chest.
Axios <a href="https://www.axios.com/2025/10/21/graham-platner-maine-senate-candidate-tattoo">reported</a>:
<blockquote>Platner drew the backing of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) as an anti-establishment outsider, but his campaign is already trying to clean up recently resurfaced Reddit posts where he espoused offensive views about Black people and sexual assault victims. Platner&#8217;s campaign shared video with Pod Save America of him singing shirtless that exposed a skull tattoo on his chest that resembles the &#8220;Totenkopf,&#8221; a symbol used by Hitler&#8217;s Schutzstaffel (SS). The move was intended to get ahead of opposition research, and the GOP&#8217;s Senate campaign arm seized on the images, accusing Platner of having a &#8220;Nazi tattoo.&#8221;</blockquote>
Platner then decided to go on the Pod Save America podcast, joining Tommy Vietor (former van driver for Barack Obama).
Platner said that the video was from his brother&#8217;s wedding, adding, “I am not a secret Nazi.”
It’s never a great political sign when you have to say you&#8217;re not a secret Nazi.
“I went to college,” Platner said. “I went to the gym, I did all the things. And at no point in this entire experience, of my life, did anybody ever once say, hey, you&#8217;re a Nazi. It never came up. Until we got wind that in the opposition research, somebody was shopping the idea that I was a secret Nazi with a hidden Nazi tattoo. And I can honestly say that if I was trying to hide it, I&#8217;ve not been doing a very good job for the past 18 years.”
Controversy has now broken out over whether he meant to have a Nazi symbol tattooed on his chest.

Now, I don&#8217;t know how many people accidentally have Nazi symbols tattooed on their chests. I feel like the number is relatively low. That&#8217;s not something you just randomly stumble onto. You get drunk one night and say, “Hey, let me get that Nazi tattoo here on my chest.”
Jewish Insider (JI) <a href="https://jewishinsider.com/2025/10/graham-platner-ss-tattoo-maine-senate/">reported</a>:
<blockquote>But according to a person who socialized with Platner when he was living in Washington, D.C., more than a decade ago, Platner had specifically acknowledged that the tattoo was a <a href="https://www.adl.org/resources/hate-symbol/totenkopf">Totenkopf</a>, the “death’s head” symbol adopted by an infamous Nazi SS unit that guarded concentration camps in World War II. “He said, ‘Oh, this is my Totenkopf,’” the former acquaintance told Jewish Insider recently, speaking on the condition of anonymity to address a sensitive issue. “He said it in a cutesy little way.”
The exchange occurred in 2012 at Tune Inn, a popular dive on Capitol Hill where Platner later worked as a bartender and was a frequent patron while he attended The George Washington University on the G.I. bill, according to the former acquaintance. He would often take his shirt off drinking with friends late at night at the bar, and on at least one occasion had stated he knew what the tattoo represented, the former acquaintance recalled.
Platner gave varying accounts of the image during this time, saying at one point he was aware it was a Totenkopf when he had first gotten the tattoo several years prior and at another time claiming he had not known, according to the former acquaintance. </blockquote>
That is why he&#8217;s revealing the video now, early, in an attempt to get past it before the vote.
JI continued:
<blockquote>Platner’s former political director, Genevieve McDonald, who <a href="https://www.bangordailynews.com/2025/10/17/politics/elections/former-maine-lawmaker-resigns-graham-platner-campaign/">resigned</a> from his campaign last week over her objection to his recently unearthed incendiary Reddit comments, said in a Facebook post on Tuesday that “Graham has an antisemitic tattoo on his chest.” “He’s not an idiot, he’s a military history buff,” McDonald <a href="https://image.jewishinsider.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/21135315/PHOTO-2025-10-21-19-24-33.jpg">wrote in the post</a>, which was reviewed by JI. “Maybe he didn’t know it when he got it, but he got it years ago and he should have had it covered up because he knows damn well what it means.”</blockquote>
This is not a gigantic shock coming from Platner because there were a bunch of Reddit posts that are pretty ugly as well. In one of them, he openly described himself as a communist. He called all cops “bastards” and dismissed sexual assault in the military. He also defended a man with a Nazi SS lightning bolt tattoo who later admitted to impersonating a federal officer at a BLM protest in Las Vegas in 2020.
What&#8217;s amazing about this — aside from the fact that Graham Platner seems to be a bit of a scumbag — is this the kind of stuff that would normally get you canceled, especially by Democrats (if you weren’t a Democrat).
Jon Lovett, one of the Pod Save America brothers, <a href="https://x.com/jonlovett/status/1980783543354810546">tweeted out:</a>
<blockquote>Only perfect candidates off the Harvard law conveyor belt pls, highly disciplined, all boxes checked, well liked and humble, absolutely no spiritual connection to having a physical body except for severe IBS, volunteered at a soup kitchen in high school, signs email ‘cheers,’ etc.</blockquote>
There&#8217;s a big gap between that and the drunken dude who is routinely spewing garbage and has a Nazi tattoo on his chest.
Also, Jon Lovett routinely calls people Nazis. Interesting how that double standard immediately applies.
Bernie Sanders <a href="https://x.com/igorbobic/status/1980703417229000878">declared</a>, “There’s a young man who served his country in Afghanistan and Iraq, and he went through some really difficult experiences seeing friends of his killed or whatever, and in spite of all of that he had the courage to run. I personally think he is an excellent candidate. I’m going to support him.”
I don&#8217;t think Sanders would be making the same excuses if the person were on the other side of the aisle.
When asked about Platner’s comments on sexual assault, Sanders then shot back, “Have you served four tours of duty?”
I love Bernie Sanders pulling out the patriotic military service card after spending an entire career ripping on the American military industrial complex and America&#8217;s foreign policy.
But in the end, this is the Democratic Party. It is all about power. It is not about actual, consistent argumentation. They are perfectly happy to have a self-described commie with a Nazi tattoo on his chest running for the Senate in Maine. If it means the Republicans lose control of the Senate, that&#8217;s it.
That&#8217;s what really matters to them in the end.

“SNL” alum Pete Davidson recently discussed his decision to remove all his tattoos, a process which will take years and will cost well into six figures.
The 31-year-old comedian was well known for being covered in ink. But now, in addition to living a sober lifestyle, Davidson has decided to remove all the tattoos because they remind him of negative parts of his past.
“I used to be a drug addict and I was a sad person, and I felt ugly and that I needed to be covered up,” he said in an interview with <a href="https://variety.com/2025/shopping/news/pete-davidson-tattoo-removal-online-dating-social-media-1236374150/">Variety</a>. “So I’m just removing them and starting fresh, because that’s what I think works best for me and for my brain. When I look in the mirror, I don’t want the reminder of ‘Oh yeah, you were a f***ing drug addict. Like, that’s why you have SpongeBob smoking a joint on your back.’”
The “SNL” star told the outlet that he began the removal process during the pandemic. So far, he has removed tattoos from his arms, hands, and neck. But with each tattoo requiring ten or twelve sessions to remove, plus 6 weeks of recovery time each, it’s been a slow process.
“That’s 60 weeks of your life right there on just one tattoo to remove,” he said. “So, it’s pretty horrible. It’s like putting your arm on a grill and burning off a layer, and then you gotta do maintenance and let it heal properly. And it’s pretty tough. It sucks, I’m not gonna lie.”
Davidson estimates it will take him a decade to be tattoo-free. When asked how much it cost, he said, “It’s a pretty uncomfortable amount of money to disclose, but I think one of the tabloids already leaked it. I’ve already spent like 200K and I’m like 30% done. So, like, it’s gonna suck.”
Previously, the “King of Staten Island” star implied he was removing the tattoos because of his movie career. “I honestly never thought that I would get the opportunity to act and I love it a lot,” he <a href="https://www.today.com/popculture/pete-davidson-tattoo-removal-sobriety-rcna190148">told</a> Seth Meyers in 2021. “You have to get there three hours earlier to cover all your tattoos, because for some reason, people in movies, they don’t have that much.”
Some of Davidson’s tattoos being removed include a shark, a Rocky Balboa quote, a unicorn, and  portraits of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Hillary Clinton.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/country-music">Country singer</a> Jelly Roll once again discussed some regrets he has about his <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tattoo">tattoos</a>, including the fact that he got multiple staph infections during the process.
The 40-year-old spoke on the topic during a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show. 
The radio show host brought up how <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">Jelly Roll</a>, whose real name is Jason DeFord, previously did an interview in which he talked about wishing he never got some of his tattoos. “I regret 98% of these tattoos, 97, almost all of them. Like core philosophies are rooted in my life when I was 17 and now I&#8217;m 40, I&#8217;m like, &#8216;What the f*** was I thinking?'&#8221;
When asked if his face tattoos were the ones he regretted most, Jelly Roll replied, &#8220;That&#8217;s probably one of the few I&#8217;d keep,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I love my cross, I love my slash.&#8221;

Stern brought up that sometimes tattoos are done in unhygienic environments, prompting Jelly Roll to reply, &#8220;Oh yeah, listen, I&#8217;ve gotten staph infections from bad tattoos. I&#8217;ve learned nothing.”
He went on, &#8220;You talk about bull-headed. And I still went back to the same guy that gave me the staph infection. It&#8217;s crazy what you&#8217;ll do, is next level crazy.&#8221;

Tattoo artist <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">Kat Von D</a> is celebrating a win in court after a jury determined she did not violate any <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/copyright">copyright</a> laws for a custom tattoo she did featuring an image of jazz legend Miles Davis. 
The 41-year-old tattooist and reality show star, whose real name is Katherine von Drachenberg, was seen smiling while leaving the courthouse after the decision, per the <a href="https://apnews.com/article/kat-von-d-tattoo-trial-miles-davis-388d1831c0a065b096fe4f69fe8a224e">Associated Press</a>. The outlet noted that the jury deliberated for just two hours before deciding that Von D was not guilty. 
Von D was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/lawsuit">sued</a> by the artist Jeffrey Sedlik for allegedly copying a portrait he made of Davis in 1989, which she said she used as inspiration to create a tattoo for a friend. 
Van D described the image as “fan art” during the trial and said she did the tattoo as a gift. “I made zero money off it. I’m not mass-producing anything. I think there is a big difference,” she said.
The jury determined that the tattoo fell within the legal doctrine of fair use of a copyrighted work.
“I’m obviously very happy for this to be over. It’s been two years of a nightmare worrying about this, not just for myself but for my fellow tattoo artists,” Von D said after the verdict. She also said the whole experience has made her reluctant to return to doing tattoos. 
“I think I don’t want to ever tattoo again, my heart has been crushed through this in different ways. We’ll see with time,” she said.

Her attorney, Allen B. Grodsky, said of the outcome: “We’ve said all along that this case never should have been brought. The jury recognized that this was just ridiculous.”
Meanwhile, Sedlik&#8217;s attorney, Robert Edward Allen, said they plan to appeal the verdict. “If those two things are not substantially similar, then no one’s art is safe,” Allen said in a statement.
“It’s about copying others’ protected works,” he added. “It’s not going to hurt the tattoo industry. The tattoo police are not going to come after anyone.”
Von D rose to fame while starring on TLC’s “Miami Ink” starting in 2005. She also starred in the show’s spinoff, “LA Ink,” from 2007 to 2011. The reality star made headlines recently for her <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kat-von-d-on-becoming-christian-its-like-a-deprogramming-has-taken-place">conversion to Christianity</a> following years of being associated with witchcraft and a macabre aesthetic.

Celebrity Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela Renee White, said in a recent interview that she changed her life by giving up OnlyFans, some of the tattoos she had, and other things because she realized that she was living in the fast lane and she had to take care of her young children.
White made the remarks during an interview on Fox News with fill-in host Raymond Arroyo late last week.
&#8220;Honestly, the life that I was living, it was fast paced, you know, money coming in, money going out,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I just honestly kept running into like, all these problems and these issues and this and that lawsuits. And I was like, you know what, like, I need a change, like, I have to change my life. I can&#8217;t be living like this. I have two beautiful babies, I have businesses. And I had to really just get back to myself, I kind of lost myself, honestly.&#8221;
White said that she made the decision to turn her life around on her birthday and that she started by getting baptized.
&#8220;And then from there, I just started putting in the work, you know, people have to also realize once you get baptized, you have to be willing to also change everything about you so you can start moving into the light,&#8221; she said.
White said that she decided to get some tattoos removed after reading the Bible.
&#8220;It&#8217;s so bizarre to me, because at the time, I didn&#8217;t see nothing wrong with it. And that&#8217;s like the issue,&#8221; she said. &#8220;You know, we don&#8217;t see things that we&#8217;re doing wrong, because we&#8217;re actually sitting in that moment. And I just started like praying to God, you know, and taking the proper steps going to church and just really focusing like on myself and my spirit.&#8221;

WHITE: The more I started reading the Bible, you know, and it&#8217;s so bizarre to me, because at the time, I didn&#8217;t see nothing wrong with it. And that&#8217;s like the issue. ARROYO: Yeah, well, I love that it&#8217;s not only a spiritual transformation, but a physical one. I mean, you&#8217;ve had fillers in your face dissolve, you&#8217;re removing tattoos. What&#8217;s next for Angela White?
WHITE: What&#8217;s next for me? I&#8217;m gonna continue my journey with the Bible for sure. And just work on myself, just honestly work on myself, and work on my businesses and different ways of making income because the way that I was making an income wasn&#8217;t right. Former OnlyFans star and model <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">Blac Chyna</a> just documented the process of getting a “demonic” tattoo removed.
The 34-year-old started going by her birth name, Angela White, ever since converting to Christianity and has been sharing her lifestyle changes with her 16.7 million <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/instagram">Instagram</a> followers. Over the weekend, White shared two social media posts focused on removing a tattoo of the deity Baphomet from her body.
“I am releasing all negative energy that is holding me back,” the celebrity <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CqPlwrXD8aF/?hl=en">said</a> in the first video. “It&#8217;s got to come off. You know what I mean? I&#8217;m about to have no mark of the beast &#8230; anything like that. When I first got the tattoo, that is not what it meant to me. I just don&#8217;t want anything negative or demonic on my body anymore.”
The model recorded herself packing up the car with the assistance of her two children in preparation for a trip to Clear Out Ink in Las Vegas for the removal. She shares 10-year-old son King with rapper Tyga and 6-year-old daughter Dream with her ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian. 
In the next video, White posted an image of the tattoo and included a caption that <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CqPnieDjJW7/?hl=en">said</a>, “Thank you God, for saving me. Removing this Baphomet tattoo. I’m sending all this energy back to the owner.” 
She defined Baphomet as a “goat-headed demon spirit” aiming to “create and spread chaos.”
Previously, White discussed why she quit OnlyFans and started reversing some of the plastic surgery procedures she had in the past.
“&#8230; With me being baptized, that’s just not what God will want me to do. It’s kind of degrading,” she said of leaving the adult-oriented platform behind despite making up to $1 million per year posting explicit content.

The “Glass Onion” actor told GQ that he knew the image he selected was one of Murphy from his hit show “Peaky Blinders,” but he had hoped the tattoo artist would change the look enough to make it unrecognizable. However, Bautista said <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fans</a> were able to figure out who it was immediately. 
“I found this really cool picture that I love and I always wanted to do this,” he said while showing off the tattoo on his thigh. “‘Gentleman Hooligan,’ ‘cause it kind of always felt like who I was.”
Bautista explained how he related to the character because he&#8217;s &#8220;really from the streets.&#8221; 
“I grew up poor,&#8221; the former wrestler said, but clarified that he also considered himself a &#8220;gentlemen&#8221; who respected everyone no matter what. Bautista thought that image of Murphy conveyed a bit of himself as well.

The Marvel actor said he asked his tattoo artist to change the face so it wasn’t so distinctly Murphy. After he got it, he claims he saw the distinction and that it didn&#8217;t look &#8220;exactly&#8221; like Cillian Murphy. He showed off the finished product, which disguised the character&#8217;s eyes under the shadow of his hat. 
“The first time I posted it on my social media, all I got was, &#8220;Oh my God. You’ve got a tattoo of Cillian Murphy,&#8221;&#8216; Bautista said.
“It is what it is. I’m a fan. So, you know, a little embarrassed but not ashamed.&#8221; He laughed while addressing Murphy directly, saying, &#8220;So Cillian, there you go. Your face is tattooed on my thigh.&#8221;
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star also told GQ during an interview that he was relieved to be exiting the MCU. “I’m so grateful for Drax,” he said of the character that helped him develop his acting skills. “I love him. But there’s a relief [that it’s over]. It wasn’t all pleasant. It was hard playing that role,” he continued.

The promotion corresponds with a block party event happening Wednesday in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/las-vegas">Las Vegas</a> at Bad Apple Tattoo. Per the <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/love-the-new-subway-series-prove-it-with-a-tattoo-and-you-could-get-subway-for-life-301590995.html">press release</a>, the first person in line to get a permanent 12″ by 12″ <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tattoo">tattoo</a> of the brand’s new Subway Series logo on their sternum or back will be rewarded with free sandwiches for life. This will come in the form of $50,000 worth of gift cards.
Other Subway enthusiasts who aren’t afraid to express their love can sign up for smaller tattoos that also come with perks. Anyone who gets a 3″ by 3″ tattoo of the new logo on their shoulder blade, forearm, or calf will be given free sandwiches for one year, awarded as $4,380 worth of gift cards.
Fans who opt for the smaller 2” x 2” logo tattoo on their wrist, bicep, or foot will receive free sandwiches for a month, awarded as a $372 gift card.

Fans must be legal U.S. residents 21 years of age or older to qualify. They must also sign a release to get inked.

Pete Davidson appears to be sporting a new tattoo, his fans noticed over the weekend. The 28-year-old “Saturday Night Live” comedian was photographed leaving The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles with a new tat on his neck that seems to read “KNSCP,” Page Six <a href="https://pagesix.com/2022/05/01/pete-davidson-has-tattoo-of-kim-kardashians-kids-names/">reported</a>.
The letters perfectly correspond with Davidson’s romantic partner of around six months and her four children. “The King of Staten Island” star hasn’t confirmed publicly why he chose those letters, but clever fans on social media couldn’t help but notice that they match up with the names Kim, North, Saint, Chicago, Psalm.

It remains to be seen if the tattoo is permanent or whether Davidson could be trolling Kardashian&#8217;s ex, Kanye West, who is the father of the four kids, But this wouldn’t be the first time Davidson <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/it-is-not-cute-fans-react-to-pete-davidson-branding-kim-kardashians-name-on-his-body-after-months-of-dating">got inked</a> to prove his love for Kardashian. The couple made headlines in March when the SKIMS founder appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to discuss some details of her relationship. Kardashian admitted that her beau had gotten “a few” tattoos of her name which the mom of four declared were “so cute.” 
The “SNL” star took his devotion one step further by getting Kardashian’s name branded on his skin. Unlike tattoos, this permanent scarring is not able to be removed with laser treatments. 
“Umm, yeah he has a few tattoos, a few cute ones that he got,” Kardashian told DeGeneres. “But this one is a … the ‘Kim’ isn’t a tattoo it’s actually a branding. Like a branding. Visit Port City Tattoo in Long Beach, California, on Saturday, and you can get the fast food chain&#8217;s corporate logo tattooed on your body for free. For those who have long desired to mutilate their bodies with a cartoon beef and cheddar sandwich but have been reluctant to pay for the privilege, your lucky day is at hand. Arby&#8217;s is billing the promotion as an opportunity to have a &#8220;sandwich for life,&#8221; albeit in the form of ink on your skin. The gimmick follows a similar marketing stunt by Domino&#8217;s Pizza in Russia earlier this month, in which the pizza chain offered lifelong free pizza to anyone who tattooed the company&#8217;s logo on his body. While the company intended to run the promotion for two months, it had to end the deal after just a few days for fear of going out of business.
&#8220;More than a million people would have come to demand pizzas,&#8221; explained 24-year-old Natalia Koshkina. &#8220;After all, this is Russia.&#8221; To permanently brand one&#8217;s body with a corporate logo in exchange for free cheap pizza requires something of a nihilistic worldview, but the prevalence of such nihilism does not surprise in a country renowned for its various <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_roulette">suicide</a> <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Whale_(game)">games</a>.

The Russians traded their flesh for pizza; a growing group of Americans respects their bodies even less. The Long Beach tattoo stunt is a marketing gimmick, but like its pizza counterpart in Russia, Arby&#8217;s may attract more senselessly ink-eager Millennials than it bargained for.
