Retired Super Bowl-winning QB <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tom-brady">Tom Brady’s</a> uniform pants — worn during his final game in the NFL — were put up for auction recently and went for close to $90,000.
The retired Tampa Bay Buccaneers star’s final game in the league ended up being when the Buccaneers faced off against the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card Game in January 2023 and lost. 
The pants Brady wore in the game sold at auction for $89,100, according to <a href="https://www.greyflannelauctions.com/1_16_2023_Tom_Brady_Tampa_Bay_Buccaneers_NFC_Wild_-LOT52762.aspx">Grey Flannel Auctions</a>.

Last year, game uniform pants that Brady wore during 11 games of what turned out to be his final season in the league also sold for a pretty penny at auction when they went for $31,200 in November, through Heritage Auctions, according to Darren Rovell, <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/news/tom-brady-pants-auction-buccaneers-patriots-nfl/">CBS News</a> reported.

The crazy thing is that the amount the retired NFL legend’s pants brought in is nowhere near the most money netted by a previously-worn pair of trousers. In 2012, a pair of pants Babe Ruth wore from his New York Yankees 1921 season sold at auction for $183,500. And two years later, two other pairs of Ruth’s game-worn pants sold for $90,000 at Goldin Auctions, the outlet noted.
However, Brady does beat the Sultan of Swat in one area and that’s owning the record for the most expensive NFL jersey ever sold. Last November, the former Patriots and Buccaneers star QB’s final game jersey sold for $1.39 million at Sotheby’s, CBS News noted.
In 2023, the seven-time <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tom-brady-confirms-retirement-is-real-announces-when-hes-headed-to-broadcast-booth">Super Bowl-winning QB</a> made his retirement from the game official when he took to his Instagram and announced that after 23 seasons in the league, he was done.

Cameras remained on Kelce at the end of the game as he walked over to the stands and met up with his wife, Kylie Kelce, who was in the front row with his father Ed Kelce, the <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/01/16/sports/jason-kelce-tells-eagles-teammates-hes-retiring/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York Post</a> noted.
Veteran Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson told reporters Kelce has &#8220;hinted&#8221; to teammates that this would be his final season, according to <a href="https://espnsiouxfalls.com/philadelphia-eagles-jason-kelce-retires/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ESPN</a>.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Shaquil Barrett’s 2-year-old daughter reportedly drowned over the weekend in the family&#8217;s swimming pool at their home.
The Tampa Bay Times <a href="https://www.tampabay.com/sports/bucs/2023/04/30/shaquil-barrett-bucs-child-drowning-south-tampa/">reported</a> that police responded to the home on Sunday morning after receiving a call about a child who had fallen into a pool.
First responders deployed lifesaving measures on Arrayah Barrett, who was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced deceased, the report said.
The report said that no foul play is suspected and that officials said that the incident is being viewed as an accident.
“Today’s tragic news is heartbreaking for all members of the Buccaneers family,” the team said in a statement. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Shaq, Jordanna and the entire Barrett family during this unimaginably difficult time. While no words can provide true comfort at a time such as this, we offer our support and love as they begin to process this very profound loss of their beloved Arrayah.”

The report noted that Barrett and his wife Jordana share three other children together: Shaquil Jr., Braylon, Aaliyah.
ESPN noted that the 30-year-old linebacker is in his fifth season with team and has been named to the Pro Bowl twice. He led the NFL in sacks in 2019 with 19.5.

ESPN <a href="https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35709040/peyton-hillis-expects-full-recovery-lengthy-hospital-stay" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> that the incident involved two adults and two children.
“I just wanted to come on here and thank everyone for all the prayers and love y’all have given me,” Hillis wrote on social media. “It’s really made all the difference. I also want to thank my brave sister, mother, sister in law, my kids, and my girlfriend who has saved my life in more ways than one. Thank you to the amazing staff at the hospital. Baptist hospital in Pensacola. Y’all were truly amazing and took such great care of me. You made all the difference on my recovery.”
Hillis said that he has not given any media interviews because he wanted to keep his family out of the public since the incident was a “very traumatic” experience for everyone involved.
“But I did want to come on here and show my appreciation for everyone who helped save my life and for all of your prayers and love and support,” he added. “I left the hospital with no worries and concerns and should make a 100% recovery. I’m a very lucky and blessed man. Yahweh has really blessed me and I am very thankful.”

&#8220;Vivian was drawn to the Siamese mix kittens, so it wasn&#8217;t surprising that Tom reached out to adopt,&#8221; the organization shared. &#8220;They are the perfect family for these two adorable kittens!&#8221;
The Humane Society also praised Brady and his family for all the volunteering they&#8217;ve done there.

In response, Bündchen wrote that she wished her ex only the best.

Speculation continued for months that the two were headed for divorce. In October, Brady finally confirmed reports that he and Bündchen were officially divorced after 13 years of marriage.
In a lengthy post shared on <a href="https://twitter.com/ClayTravis/status/1586010973739290624?s=20&amp;t=Mrpe2gNt_Be3kFBTSdGKvw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">social media</a>, the Super Bowl champion wrote that in &#8220;recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage.&#8221;
&#8220;We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,&#8221; the 7-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback shared. &#8220;We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.&#8221;
Bündchen and Brady share two kids. She previously made it clear she wanted her husband to be more present following his announcement that he was coming out of retirement in 2022, as The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/gisele-bundchen-breaks-silence-on-tom-bradys-return-to-football-i-would-like-him-to-be-more-present" target="_blank" rel="noopener">previously reported</a>.

He also included two other photos, one of him with Jack and the other of him and Benjamin.
The social media post comes following the former New England Patriots quarterback&#8217;s divorce from supermodel Gisele Bündchen in 2022 after nearly 14 years of marriage. The two have been co-parenting their kids since, with Brady sharing recently that he wanted his three kids to experience failure in life to develop resiliency, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tom-brady-discusses-why-he-hopes-his-kids-fail" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady gave a profanity-laced response this week when asked about his football future.
Brady was <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/sports/tom-brady-gives-expletive-laden-response-question-future">asked</a> on the &#8220;Let&#8217;s Go!&#8221; podcast whether he has made a decision about whether he will play another season in the league.
&#8220;If I knew what I was going to f***ing do, I would’ve already f***ing done it,&#8221; Brady said. &#8220;I&#8217;m taking it a day at a time.&#8221;
&#8220;I appreciate you asking,&#8221; he added. &#8220;Thank you.&#8221;
After Tampa Bay lost in the NFC wild-card round against the Dallas Cowboys, Brady said he would take time to determine what his future plans would be.
&#8220;I’m going to go home and get a good night’s sleep as soon as I can tonight,&#8221; Brady said. &#8220;There’s been a lot of focus on this game. Just one day at a time.&#8221;

The Buccaneers ultimately lost the game, 31-14, marking the end of the 45-year-old’s season and possibly the end of his storied career.
Following the game, Brady said that the loss was &#8220;not the way we wanted to end it, but we didn’t deserve [to win].”
“I just want to say thank you guys for everything you did this year,” he added. “I really appreciate all your effort. I know it’s hard for you guys. “It’s a dirty play from Brady. Filthy. A decade ago, he was fined $10,000 for putting a foot in the crotch of Ravens safety Ed Reed. Brady has done similar things since then, without incident.”
At the time of Brady’s slide, the Cowboys led 24-0. In the first half, Brady had been held to 11-of-23 passing for only 96 yards. Generally, the kind of slide that Brady executed would warrant a penalty.
Last February 1, Brady officially announced his retirement from football.
“I have always believed the sport of football is an ‘all-in’ proposition – if a 100% competitive commitment isn’t there, you won’t succeed and success is what I love so much about our game,” Brady <a href="https://twitter.com/rapsheet/status/1488521931158695940?s=27" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a> in an Instagram post. “There is a physical, mental, and emotional challenge EVERY single day that has allowed me to maximize my highest potential. And I have tried my very best these past 22 years. There are no shortcuts to success on the field or in life.”
“This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes: I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore,” Brady continued. “I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention.”
But in March, 40 days after he had announced his retirement, Brady said he would play a 23rd season.
“These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands,” Brady tweeted. “That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG.”

Tom Brady Fined For Sliding Attempt To Take Down Cowboys Safety

Buccaneers&#8217; QB Tom Brady thanked members of the press for their &#8220;effort&#8221; this year and said he was &#8220;very grateful&#8221; for everyone&#8217;s support as speculation mounts about his NFL future.
Following Monday Night&#8217;s playoff loss by Tampa Bay — where the Bucs fell to the Dallas Cowboys 31-14 — the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tom-brady">45-year-old QB</a> <a href="https://sports.yahoo.com/tom-brady-sounds-less-like-hes-taken-his-last-snap-and-more-like-hes-uncertain-where-his-next-one-will-be-060546366.html">spoke to the media</a> about the game and said he knew that in that moment, the better team on the field had won.  He also made some comments that have many thinking that if it was not his last game in the league, it quite possibly could have been his last one wearing a Bucs jersey.
&#8220;Not the way we wanted to end it, but we didn&#8217;t deserve it,&#8221; Brady shared. &#8220;I give them a lot of credit. They played a good game. Made a lot more plays than we did, so a tough night.&#8221;

&#8220;I just want to say thank you guys for everything you did this year,&#8221; he added. &#8220;I really appreciate all your effort. I know it&#8217;s hard for you guys. I know it&#8217;s hard for us players to make it through. You guys got a tough job, and I appreciate all that you guys do to cover us, and everyone who watches and is a big fan of the sport — we&#8217;re very grateful for everyone&#8217;s support. You know hopefully, I love this organization. It&#8217;s a great place to be.&#8221;
&#8220;Thank you everybody for welcoming me, all the regulars,&#8221; Brady continued,  as he sounded like he was getting choked up. &#8220;And I&#8217;m just very grateful for the respect, and I hope I gave the same thing back to you guys. So thank you very much.&#8221;
The 23-year veteran made headlines a year ago when he announced he was finally walking away from the game. But 40 days later he reversed that decision and returned to play with the Bucs for another season, <a href="https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35464228/tom-brady-says-no-table-decision-bucs-eliminated">ESPN</a> noted.
The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/get-your-fing-act-together-tom-brady-rips-into-offensive-line-during-ugly-loss-to-steelers">Super Bowl-winning QB</a> finished the year with an average of 9.6 yards per completion, the lowest of his career and second-lowest in the NFL, <a href="https://sports.yahoo.com/tom-brady-sounds-less-like-hes-taken-his-last-snap-and-more-like-hes-uncertain-where-his-next-one-will-be-060546366.html">Yahoo.com</a> noted. His contract will soon expire with a &#8220;no-tag&#8221; clause, ESPN noted. At the age of 45 he will then become an unrestricted free agent unless the Bucs can re-sign him. Otherwise, he&#8217;s free to sign with any team, if he chooses to stay in the league and keep playing.

‘Just Very Grateful’: Tom Brady Thanks Press For All Their 'Effort' This Year As Speculation Mounts About His NFL Future

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Russell Gage was carted off Monday night&#8217;s NFC wild-card game against the Dallas Cowboys on a stretcher following an injury he sustained late in the fourth quarter.
Gage was hurt when he fell while trying to catch a pass from quarterback Tom Brady. While having his body awkwardly contorted after falling, Gage took a hard hit from Cowboys safety Donovan Wilson.
The team released a statement Tuesday morning following its 31-14 loss.
&#8220;After suffering a neck injury and concussion during the fourth quarter of last night&#8217;s game, Russell was taken to a local hospital where he remained overnight for additional testing and observation,&#8221; the team said. &#8220;Russell has had movement in all extremities and will continue to undergo additional testing today. We will provide additional information as it becomes available.&#8221;

The incident comes just two weeks after Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field and went into cardiac arrest.
&#8220;It was really tough &#8212; especially with what happened a couple weeks ago,&#8221; said Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David. &#8220;Russ is a great dude off the field and a great guy on the field. We definitely hope he&#8217;s well. He was moving and stuff like that; that was a good sign. Definitely hope he&#8217;s OK.&#8221;
ESPN noted that Bucs tight end Cam Brate, who sustained a neck injury early in the season, was also taken off the field on a stretcher in week six.
&#8220;You hate to see a guy go down like that, especially with the game being kind of out of reach at that point,&#8221; Brate said. &#8220;It&#8217;s really hard to see your teammate like that. We&#8217;re all thinking about Russ and hope he&#8217;s doing well. Yeah, it&#8217;s tough.&#8221;
