A pro-<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/palestinians" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Palestinian</a> protest at Emory University descended into chaos on Thursday, with multiple students arrested after Atlanta police and Georgia state troopers responded to the scene.
Police wrestled multiple students to the ground, and at least one student was tased, video of the protests posted to social media shows. Other students were seen being led away in handcuffs.
Some witnesses <a href="https://www.ajc.com/news/crime/breaking-pro-palestinian-training-center-protesters-set-up-camp-at-emory/KI3KCD5TANAIVGHFF5OTLXY5BA/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> police used pepper spray to control the crowd.

The Emory protesters were protesting the Israel-Hamas war, but also the construction of a police training facility at an abandoned Atlanta prison, dubbed &#8220;Cop City&#8221; by opponents.
In an article the Emory protesters <a href="https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/protest-underway-at-emory-university-in-support-of-palestine-stop-cop-city" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published</a> online, the protesters wrote they were &#8220;demanding total institutional divestment from Israeli apartheid and Cop City at all Atlanta colleges and universities.&#8221;
On Thursday morning, several dozen people set up camp on the university&#8217;s lawn with tents and signs.
President Gregory Fenves said many of those initial protesters were outsiders.
“Early this morning, several dozen protesters entered our Atlanta campus and set up an encampment on the Quad,” Fenves said in an email to the school community.
“These individuals are largely not affiliated with Emory and were disrupting the university as our students finish classes and prepare for finals. This is completely unacceptable. In response to this encampment, the Emory Police Department notified these individuals that they were trespassing. When they refused to leave, law enforcement cleared the Quad,” Fenves said.
Emory police Commander Thomas Mann agreed, saying some of the protesters were not affiliated with the university.

Some of those arrested will be charged with criminal trespass and assaulting police officers, he said.
Rowdy protests have also broken out over the last week at other universities across the country.
In New York City, demonstrations erupted at Columbia, Harvard, and New York University, <a href="https://www.ajc.com/news/crime/breaking-pro-palestinian-training-center-protesters-set-up-camp-at-emory/KI3KCD5TANAIVGHFF5OTLXY5BA/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">where</a> 133 protesters were arrested. In the Boston area, students protested at both Harvard and Northeastern University. Another Ivy League school, Brown University in Rhode Island, saw protests as well. Yale University in Connecticut saw more than 40 protesters arrested.
In Texas, the University of Texas at Austin saw students demonstrate as police struggled to control the crowd, at one point knocking over a man holding a large camera.
In California, students protested at University of Southern California where 93 people were <a href="https://ktla.com/news/california/usc-imposes-campus-restrictions-after-nearly-100-arrested-during-pro-palestinian-protest/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">arrested</a>.

Defense attorneys for the 29-year-old man accused of killing four University of Idaho students in 2022 say cellphone evidence places the suspect away from the area where the murders took place.
The suspect, who is not being named by The Daily Wire, plans to use cellphone tower data to show that he was out driving on the night the students were killed, but never went near their off-campus home, ABC News <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/kohbergers-alibi-disputes-location-night-idaho-student-killings/story?id=109369315" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
&#8220;[The suspect] was out driving in the early morning hours of Nov. 13, 2022, as he often did to hike and run and/or see the moon and stars. He drove throughout the area south of Pullman, Washington, west of Moscow, Idaho,&#8221; Anne Taylor, the suspect’s lead attorney, wrote in a new court filing.
To back this up, the defense plans to call an expert witness &#8220;to show that [the suspect’s] mobile device was south of Pullman, Washington and west of Moscow, Idaho on November 13, 2022; that [the suspect’s] mobile device did not travel east on the Moscow-Pullman Highway in the early morning hours of November 13th,&#8221; according to the court filing.
For this reason, the defense claims, the suspect’s car could not be the one seen on video surveillance driving on the Moscow-Pullman highway on the night of the murders.
The suspect has been charged with four counts of murder and one count of burglary relating to the killings of Ethan Chapin, 20; Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Madison Mogen, 21, in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022, in the college town of Moscow, Idaho.

Part of the evidence that led to the suspect’s arrest, mentioned in a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/heres-how-police-captured-the-man-suspected-of-killing-four-university-of-idaho-students" target="_blank" rel="noopener">previously unsealed</a> probable cause affidavit, showed that police were able to narrow the timeframe of the crime to between 4:00 a.m. and 4:25 a.m. and reviewed video footage taken in the area in the time before and after the murders are believed to have occurred. Video showed a white Hyundai Elantra without a front license plate (front license plates are required in Washington and Idaho, but not in Pennsylvania, where the car was registered) in the area between 3:29 a.m. and 4:20 a.m.
The vehicle can be seen passing the off-campus residence three times before returning a fourth time around 4:04 a.m. and attempting to turn around on the road. The vehicle was next seen around 4:20 a.m. traveling away from the direction of the off-campus residence at high speed, heading in the direction of a road that eventually leads to Pullman, Washington, where the suspect attended Washington State University (WSU).
Video footage from the WSU campus showed a white Hyundai Elantra leaving the area and heading toward Moscow at around 2:53 a.m. At around 5:25 a.m., this vehicle was again observed on five cameras in Pullman and the WSU campus.
Police pulled records for white Hyundai Elantras registered at WSU on November 29 – just over two weeks after the murders were committed – and found one belonging to the man who was eventually arrested. Police reviewed the owner’s Washington state driver’s license and determined he matched the suspect’s physical description provided by one of the surviving roommates.
Police matched the suspect to the vehicle through two previous traffic stops in the months before the murders. They also learned that the suspect registered his car in Washington and received Washington plates on November 18 – five days after the murders.
Police also reviewed cell phone data to show the suspect’s phone did not ping any cellular towers near the crime scene during the relevant timeframe, but an expanded examination of cell phone data showed the phone stopped reporting data to the network at around 2:47 a.m. At that time, the white Elantra was leaving Pullman and heading toward Moscow. The phone next pinged at 4:48 a.m. in an area south of Moscow, heading back to Pullman. Cell records also showed that the suspect left his home in Pullman around 9:00 a.m. on November 13 and traveled back to Moscow.
Cell records dating back to June 2022 showed the suspect’s phone was in the crime scene area on at least 12 occasions before the murders – all but one in the late evening or early morning hours.

College student Riley Strain’s death was likely “accidental,” according to the Metro Nashville Police Department, with no apparent signs of foul play.
A preliminary autopsy, attended by an MNPD detective, made the unofficial determination, The Tennessean <a href="https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/2024/03/24/riley-strain-autopsy-results-show-death-was-accidental-report/73087179007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. A toxicology report is still pending.
&#8220;Detective attended the autopsy examination,&#8221; MNPD spokesperson Kris Mumford told the outlet. &#8220;Continues to appear accidental.&#8221;
Strain was last seen weeks ago walking in the direction of the Cumberland River, and his body was removed from the river around 7:30 a.m. on Friday, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department announced on X.

Strain and his friends had been drinking on Broadway Street in Nashville before Strain was told to leave Luke’s 32 Bridge, a bar owned by country singer Luke Bryan, for reasons that have not been disclosed. Family friend Chris Dingman <a href="https://www.newsnationnow.com/missing/riley-strains-phone-power/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas that Strain had been asked to leave not due to any confrontations or conduct but because it seemed like “he had had enough” to drink.
TC Restaurant Group, which owns and operates the bar, <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/03/22/us-news/body-found-in-nashville-river-amid-search-for-missing-student-riley-strain/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> the New York Post that Strain was escorted out of their “Broadway exit at the front of our building” at around 9:35 p.m.
“He was followed down the stairs with one member of his party. The individual with Riley did not exit and returned upstairs,” the group added.
Strain reportedly told his friends he would see them back at their hotel, but 13 minutes later, Strain was captured on surveillance cameras crossing Gay Street, the opposite direction of the hotel and a nearly 17-minute walk from the bar, the Post noted.

The officer asked Strain how he was doing, and Strain replied, “Good.” Then, Strain kept walking, not appearing to be in any kind of distress, the Post reported.
Nashville police said Strain was seen at 9:52 p.m. on Gay Street, according to the Post. A local homeless man also claimed to see a “very, very intoxicated” Strain nearly fall into the river, the Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/03/18/us-news/very-intoxicated-riley-strain-nearly-fell-into-river-witness/'" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> previously.
The final ping on Strain’s phone came between 10 and 10:30 p.m. near the sheriff’s office and the river, the Post reported. His final text was sent to a woman he was seeing, which said, “Good lops [sic]” in response to her asking how he was doing on the trip. It is unclear what Strain meant by the text.
Strain’s bank card was found days later on an embankment of the river, where his body was eventually found.

The Idaho Supreme Court has denied an appeal request from attorneys representing the 29-year-old man accused of killing four University of Idaho students in 2022.
Defense attorneys <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/idaho-murder-suspects-attorneys-appeal-to-state-supreme-court-seeking-to-have-case-thrown-out" target="_blank" rel="noopener">appealed</a> to the state&#8217;s Supreme Court to overturn a lower court’s decision not to dismiss the case. The Latah County District Court previously denied the defense’s motion to dismiss.
Defense attorneys filed the appeal on February 8, which was denied on Tuesday, KTVB <a href="https://www.ktvb.com/article/news/special-reports/moscow-murders/idaho-supreme-court-decides-kohberger-appeals/277-04ef0fd2-b7a0-491f-b9ac-983f74d5309a" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. While the appeal to potentially dismiss the case was rejected, the Idaho Supreme Court did grant the suspect’s request to seal the appeal documents.
The defense has argued that the grand jury that indicted the suspect, who is not being named per Daily Wire policy, was biased and given inaccurate instructions. Defense attorneys also say that the grand jury reached its decision based on inadmissible evidence and insufficient evidence to indict. The attorneys also allege prosecutorial misconduct.

The vehicle was next seen around 4:20 a.m. traveling away from the direction of the off-campus residence at high speed, heading in the direction of a road that eventually leads to Pullman, Washington, where the suspect attended Washington State University (WSU).
Video footage from the WSU campus showed a white Hyundai Elantra leaving the area and heading toward Moscow at around 2:53 a.m. This vehicle was again observed on five cameras in Pullman and the WSU campus at around 5:25 a.m.
Police pulled records for white Hyundai Elantras registered at WSU on November 29 – just over two weeks after the murders were committed – and found one belonging to the man who was eventually arrested. Police reviewed the owner’s Washington state driver’s license and determined he matched the suspect’s physical description provided by one of the surviving roommates.

Police matched the suspect to the vehicle through two previous traffic stops in the months before the murders. They also learned that the suspect registered his car in Washington and received Washington plates on November 18 – five days after the murders.
In a previous filing, the suspect’s attorneys claimed that DNA found at the crime scene may have been planted by police.
“The State’s argument asks this Court and [the suspect] to assume – is that the DNA on the sheath was placed there by [the suspect], and not someone else during an investigation that spans hundreds of members of law enforcement and apparently at least one lab the State refuses to name,” the suspect’s defense attorneys wrote.

A University of Colorado-Colorado Springs student was arrested Monday morning after authorities found the bodies of two individuals in a dorm on campus.
Nicholas Jordan, 25, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of 26-year-old Celie Rain Montgomery and 24-year-old Samuel Knopp, the Associated Press <a href="https://apnews.com/article/university-colorado-springs-shooting-death-arrest-0c40bb83eb18d48141b382d7946cb0bc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. Knopp was a student studying music at UCCS, but Montgomery was not currently enrolled.
On Friday around 6 a.m., the UCCS Police Department received a report of shots fired at the Crestone House, a campus dorm, the Colorado Springs Police Department <a href="https://twitter.com/CSPDPIO/status/1759673667762467321" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> on X. Police found the room where the shots had originated and discovered the bodies of two adults, one male and one female.
Later that evening, after an investigation, the CSPD Homicide Unit obtained an arrest warrant for Jordan, a student at the university originally from Detroit, Michigan. Police then began searching for Jordan while an autopsy was performed on the two victims’ bodies at the El Paso County Coroner’s Office. Each student was shot, but the coroner’s office has yet to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
On Monday morning just before 8 a.m., the CSPD’s Motor Vehicle Theft Unit located Jordan in a vehicle. Nearly an hour later, the Tactical Enforcement Unit responded and took him into custody without incident.
&#8220;It was really a smooth arrest,&#8221; Colorado Springs Police Chief Adrian Vasquez said, <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/colorado/news/suspect-arrested-double-shooting-university-colorado-springs-custody-samuel-knopp-celie-rain-montgomery/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to CBS News Colorado</a>.
Jordan reportedly knew the victims, and the CSPD emphasized that the crime was &#8220;not a random attack against the school or other students at the university.&#8221;
UCCS held a “healing march” on Monday afternoon, with university chancellor Jennifer Sobanet, student body president Axel Brown, and UCCS Police Chief Dewayne McCarver addressing the crowd, CBS reported.
&#8220;Healing will take time. Rebuilding the trust and safety of our campus will take time,&#8221; Sobanet said, according to the outlet.

During a school board meeting, students in the Clarkstown Central School District in upstate New York fought back against the district’s policy of allowing students to use bathrooms that correspond to their “gender identity” rather than their biological sex.
The district states in its <a href="https://boardpolicyonline.com/?b=clarkstown_csd&amp;s=653088" target="_blank" rel="noopener">regulations</a> that “harassment” could be “based on any characteristic, including but not limited to a person’s actual or perceived,” then lists a number of characteristics, including “gender (including gender identity or expression).” It explains, “Gender identity is one’s self-expression as being male or female, as distinguished from actual biological sex or sex assigned at birth.”
A girl student stated, “I’m here to express that I no longer feel safe within the four walls at Festa (Felix Festa Middle School) and I feel that my freedom has been taken away from me. I have been waiting since second grade for swimming during school at Festa, only now to find out I am sharing a locker room with a trans female who may still have a penis. I do not feel comfortable being exposed to that and I no longer feel safe. This has nothing to do with any[one] being a bad person. It is simply that I do not feel mature enough to view any man&#8217;s penis, whether they identify as female or a man. A penis is a penis.”
“Private spaces are one of the most important things in a growing boy or girl’s life,” another student declared. “Private spaces we as children go to recognize a change in us and our body &#8230; Everyone should feel safe, but I and my fellow students are being forced to sign petitions to allow these things to follow through. It becomes bullying. You are not teaching me to be okay with who you are; you are pushing me to show my vulnerable parts to somebody I may not trust. But this is not a hate speech; this is a 15-year-old student who’s affected by the decisions you push upon us. I am the child on the other side of this, and I and my friends want our sense of privacy to be valued by the higher-ups.”
“Central to this debate is the issue at hand of allowing individuals who are biological men or women to enter bathrooms or locker rooms that do not align with their biological sex,” a third student propounded. “This practice leaves many feeling vulnerable and breaches a moral and ethical boundary, suggesting that those who identify differently should utilize single occupancy bathrooms. This stance is not rooted in transphobia but in a concern for the safety and privacy of all students.”
“I’m filled with apprehension at the thought of using these facilities under existing guidelines; policies in my eyes fail to protect our privacy and safety in spaces where we should feel most secure,” a fourth student added. “The policy, which seems to have been adopted without thorough consideration of its impact on the student body, leaves many of us feeling exposed and vulnerable. We need leaders who prioritize the well-being, privacy, and safety of every student. Leaders who are willing to listen, recess, and if necessary, reverse decisions that do not serve the best interests of those who [they] have pledged to protect.”

To allow individuals into bathrooms and locker rooms that do not align with their biological sex is beyond discomforting. It is, frankly, lunacy and unacceptable. This isn’t about denying rights or excluding anyone; it’s about ensuring that every student’s right to privacy and safety is upheld. What’s currently happening is that our trusted board is in alignment with the degradation of the moral fabric of our community.”

Some student loan borrowers are refusing to make payments in protest, hoping they can force the Biden administration to cancel all student loan debt.
According to an Intelligent.com <a href="https://www.intelligent.com/1-in-10-borrowers-who-havent-resumed-student-loan-payments-are-boycotting/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">survey</a> of 1,000 federal student loan borrowers, about 25% <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/01/17/news/some-student-loan-borrowers-refusing-to-pay-out-of-protest/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> they had not made any payments, and 9% of those who had not paid at all said they were not paying to pressure the government into canceling their debt.
According to the survey, about 44% of those boycotting their payments said they believe their protest will result in the government canceling at least some federal student loan debt, the survey found.
About 28% said they think the boycott is &#8220;likely&#8221; to succeed in getting the government to cancel all student loan debt. As many as 86% said they think it is &#8220;very&#8221; or &#8220;somewhat likely&#8221; that the boycott will bring attention to the student loan issue.
The pandemic pause on student loan payments expired in October after more than three years.
Close to nine million people missed their first payment, the Department of Education <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nearly-9-million-student-loan-borrowers-missed-first-payment-after-pause#" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> last month. That means about 40% of the 22 million people who had student loan payments due in October still had not made a payment by well into November.
For comparison, less than 26% of borrowers missed their payment in October 2019, before the pandemic pause went into effect in March 2020 in the thick of the COVID pandemic.

In June, the Supreme Court <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/supreme-court-delivers-defeat-to-biden-admin-on-student-loan-forgiveness" target="_blank" rel="noopener">struck down</a> President Biden’s massive $430 billion student debt relief plan that would have forgiven 40 million people’s loans. After the court’s decision, Biden <a href="https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/biden-administration-forgives-39-billion-student-loan-debt-more-than-800000-borrowers?intcmp=tw_fnc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> he would “stop at nothing to find other ways to deliver relief to hard-working middle-class families.”
Biden has still managed to forgive up to $116 billion in student loans for more than 3.4 million people, the administration <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-administration-forgives-another-72-million-in-loans-for-students-cheated-by-one-school" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in August.
Leftist lawmakers and activists have long called for broad student debt relief, and for years have urged the Biden administration to grant it. Critics argue that forgiving student loans is unfair to those who sacrificed to pay off their loans, especially since taxpayers ultimately pay for any government-funded debt relief.
About 69% of the borrowers who had not made a payment after the pause ended said they could not afford to do so, the Intelligent.com survey found. About 18% of borrowers who had not started making payments again said they planned to wait until September, which is when the more severe consequences for missing payments kick in.
For the next few months, the Biden administration has an “on-ramp” program to protect borrowers from the “harshest consequences” of missed payments such as delinquency, default, and mandatory collections.

An Idaho judge has ruled that prosecutors must turn over “a portion” of the genetic genealogy evidence used to link a 29-year-old man to the killings of four University of Idaho students in 2022.
The suspect, who is not being named by The Daily Wire due to a policy on mass killers, has been arguing with the court to have prosecutors turn over investigative genetic genealogy (IGG) for months. Last week, District Court Judge John Judge ordered prosecutors to turn over some of that evidence, Newsweek <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/bryan-kohberger-judge-dan-records-1860551" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
&#8220;The court has now completed its review of the information provided by the state and orders the state to discover to the defense a portion of the IGG information,&#8221; Judge ruled, according to the outlet. &#8220;The specific material to be provided is set forth in a sealed order to protect the privacy of the IGG information, including individuals on the family tree.&#8221;
The suspect’s attorneys are seeking to discredit the DNA evidence, which linked the suspect to the crimes.
The suspect has been charged with four counts of murder and one count of burglary relating to the killing of Ethan Chapin, 20; Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Madison Mogen, 21, in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022, in the college town of Moscow.
Prosecutors have argued that they didn’t need to turn over detailed information about how genetic genealogy was used to link the suspect to the crimes since a DNA sample provided by the suspect directly matched DNA found on a knife sheath found at the crime scene. The genetic genealogy wouldn’t be used at trial, prosecutors argued.
Once police had their suspect, they tracked him to his parents’ house in Pennsylvania and collected garbage from the trash cans outside. They obtained DNA that partially matched the DNA collected from the knife sheath, indicating they had the DNA of the suspect’s father. Collecting DNA from the suspect later directly linked him to the sheath. The sheath was found on a bed next to Goncalves and Mogen’s bodies, partially under one of them. The type of knife the sheath held would have been consistent with the knife used to murder the four victims.
Anne Taylor, the defense attorney, has <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/accused-idaho-killer-continues-to-argue-about-dna-found-on-knife-sheath-at-crime-scene" target="_blank" rel="noopener">repeatedly argued</a> that the prosecution had not provided full DNA information from the crime, CBS News <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/bryan-kohberger-idaho-student-stabbings-suspect-attorneys-question-validity-knife-sheath-dna/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.

“They have provided full DNA discovery for the sheath, the knife sheath, but not the other three unidentified male DNA samples,” she told the judge in August, referring to DNA from three men she said was found at the off-campus residence in Moscow, Idaho.
Prosecutors countered at the time by saying they had turned over everything they had.
“We have given the defense everything that we have received from the lab. They’ve asked for DNA work-ups on other people. To the extent that they don’t have them, they weren’t done,” Latah County Prosecuting Attorney Bill Thompson argued. “We can’t produce something that doesn’t exist.”
In July, the suspect’s defense attorneys <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/idaho-murder-suspect-claims-dna-may-have-been-planted-at-crime-scene-by-cops" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claimed</a> that their client’s DNA may have been planted at the scene by police but could not explain why he would have been targeted for the crime.
In a June court filing, the suspect’s other attorney, Jay Weston Logsdon, filed a <a href="https://www.insideedition.com/sites/default/files/inline-files/061623%20States%20Motion%20for%20Protective%20Order.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">motion</a> objecting to the prosecutor’s attempts to avoid turning over a detailed breakdown of how authorities used genetic genealogy to link the accused to the murders. Logsdon wrote in the motion that investigators found DNA from three other men in the off-campus residence where Chapin, Goncalves, Kernodle, and Mogen, were murdered. DNA from two men was found inside the house, while DNA from a third man was found outside the home on a glove, the filing says, according to <a href="https://www.insideedition.com/bryan-kohberger-defense-dna-suspects-glove-murder-trial" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Inside Edition</a>.
None of the three reported samples match the suspect’s DNA, though it is unknown when this particular DNA was left at the home, which was the location of frequent parties.
The suspect and his attorney say these DNA samples were never run through the national DNA database to find a match.

A plane flew a banner over Harvard University on Thursday featuring a Palestinian flag along with the words, &#8220;Harvard Hates Jews,&#8221; which comes as the school has faced weeks of backlash over the rise of anti-Semitism on its campus.
Harvard University President Claudine Gay was grilled during testimony this week in front of the U.S. Congress over anti-Semitism on her campus.
When asked if calling for the genocide of Jews violates Harvard’s rules on bullying and harassment, Gay <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-top-university-presidents-balk-when-asked-if-genocidal-chants-against-jews-violate-codes-of-conduct">said</a> that it depended &#8220;on the context.&#8221;
Gay faced intense backlash over her remarks and was later forced to issue a separate statement.
&#8220;There are some who have confused a right to free expression with the idea that Harvard will condone calls for violence against Jewish students,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Let me be clear: Calls for violence or genocide against the Jewish community, or any religious or ethnic group are vile, they have no place at Harvard, and those who threaten our Jewish students will be held to account.&#8221;
Gay faced blowback over the statement, including widespread calls to resign.
The Boston Herald <a href="https://www.bostonherald.com/2023/12/07/harvard-hates-jews-banner-flies-above-cambridge-campus-as-president-comes-under-fire-for-congressional-testimony-about-antisemitism/">reported</a> that Jewish students hired someone to fly the banner in circles over the school following Gay&#8217;s testimony.

The group behind the banner, called &#8220;Harvard with Hamas,&#8221; said that the aerial campaign “seeks to respond to the runaway antisemitism on the campus and the shocking support for Hamas terrorism and rape obscenely vocalized by Harvard faculty and students following the Oct. 7th massacre in Israel,” according to a statement obtained by the Boston Herald.
“The American college campuses have become toxic dumps filled with Jew hatred and anti-Israel violence,” said one of the students involved in planning the event. “Harvard’s logo ‘veritas’ is the Latin word for ‘truth’ and the banner flown over Harvard skies reveals the painful truth behind the reality of this institution today: what was once the symbol of dignity and tolerance, has sunk deep into an oblivion of hatred and lie. The terror flag and jarring banner will circle over their heads until they can’t hide anymore.”

A group of students in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/virginia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Virginia</a> walked out of school on Wednesday in protest of the district&#8217;s transgender bathroom policy, demanding male and female only spaces.
Nearly 100 students at Woodgrove High School in Purcellville in Loudoun county made their protest to the transgender policy, called 8040, calling on the district to reverse its decision because it&#8217;s a &#8220;massive safety risk,&#8221; an &#8220;invasion of privacy,&#8221; and more, the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12705363/transgender-bathrooms-loudoun-county-public-schools-woodgrove-high.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Daily Mail</a> reported. In June 2021, the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/loudoun-county-school-board-blasted-over-daily-wire-sex-assault-report-parents-demand-resignations-end-this-nightmare" target="_blank" rel="noopener">school district</a> made headlines after it publicly denied a girl was assaulted by a boy in the girl&#8217;s bathroom and the father of the girl who was assaulted became angry. In August 2021, the board then passed the trans policy that states that those trans-identifying students can use the locker rooms and bathrooms of their choice.
&#8220;It&#8217;s a massive safety risk, and they [LCPS] don&#8217;t do anything about it,&#8221; one female student told <a href="https://wjla.com/news/local/woodgrove-high-school-walkout-virginia-model-policy-8040-loudoun-county-school-board-bathrooms-locker-rooms-rules-protest-rally-girls-boys-only" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WJLA 7News</a>.

She said the students were tired of being &#8220;ignored&#8221; by the school district.
&#8220;We express these concerns and they ignore us and write us off as Right-wing crazies,&#8221; the female student added. &#8220;We&#8217;re not crazy. We just don&#8217;t want to be in danger on a daily basis in this building. I think it&#8217;s people finally stepping up and just being sick of it. We&#8217;re sick of being here and just being completely ignored.&#8221;
The same student told the outlet that she&#8217;s completely stopped using the bathrooms at school out of fear — and said she&#8217;s not the only one.
&#8220;I stopped using them [the bathrooms] because I don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s going to happen to me in there,&#8221; the student said. &#8220;I&#8217;m telling you right now half the women in this building feel the same way. We don&#8217;t use the bathrooms. We hold our pee until we can&#8217;t. I mean, there are girls in PE who still get changed in the bathroom stalls in there because they&#8217;re afraid of who might waltz in.&#8221;
A male student said he didn&#8217;t want to share a locker room with a biological female.

Another male student said it was an &#8220;invasion of his privacy &#8220;to deal with a female in the locker room.
&#8220;In the locker rooms in the morning it&#8217;s an invasion of privacy, as I said because when men and natural-born males are in our locker rooms and they are showering in the morning, natural-born females can walk in there as they please,&#8221; he added. &#8220;And that is not OK. And it goes against what we believe in.&#8221;
