<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/cnn" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CNN</a> Republican commentator Scott Jennings roasted late-night comedians for their obvious descent — fueled by President-elect Donald Trump&#8217;s landslide victory on Tuesday — into naked Democratic activism, arguing that &#8220;at some point, people might expect it to be funny.&#8221;
Jennings ripped into the comedians — name-dropping Jimmy Kimmel, who was brought to tears after Trump won — and argued that they were alienating half the country by telling them that only the Trump-hating people in their audience really mattered.

Jennings noted that liberal comedian and HBO host Bill Maher — who has repeatedly swiped at his own side for going too far with regard to gender surgeries, COVID lockdowns, and more — seemed to understand that going all-in on activism instead of comedy — and in the process, potentially alienating half the country &#8212; was not the wisest course of action.
&#8220;The rest of these people have become pathetic. I mean, they stopped being comedians and they started becoming political activists. I mean, Jimmy Kimmel out here crying? I mean, it’s pathetic,&#8221; Jennings said. &#8220;And so my my question is, if you’re going to have a late-night comedy show, at some point, people might expect it to be funny and not just a constant political screed against one party, and I don’t — I don’t know that this activism for four more years is sustainable if you’re going to market something as comedy, but the actual product is nothing more than sort of a lowbrow political activism.&#8221;

&#8220;These people represent the way a lot of people feel, so it’d actually be interesting if the Trump folks could actually make us feel like, ‘we’re not going to take away your rights,’ and that doesn’t make sense, you think it doesn’t make sense a lot of people actually think that makes sense. That’s the way a lot of people feel,&#8221; Touré protested.
&#8220;That is their audience,&#8221; CNN host Abby Phillip said.
“Is that their mission? To be activists and not comedians?” Jennings pressed.
“Well, sometimes the comedian does stop telling jokes and says serious things,&#8221; Touré replied.
Jennings pushed on, adding, &#8220;During the Biden years, there was nobody who provided more comedy fodder possible than Joe Biden.&#8221;
That was enough for the rest of the panel, who all began protesting at once that Biden had been on the receiving end of plenty of criticism and mockery.

Late-night host Stephen Colbert ditched his usual comedy on Wednesday night, opting for a subdued and slightly depressing monologue — which he said was aimed at letting his audience know that if they were upset about the results of Tuesday&#8217;s presidential election, they were not alone.
Colbert, apparently banking on none of his audience members having voted for former President Donald Trump, opened the show by saying, &#8220;Hey there, how are you doing? If you watch this show regularly, I’m guessing you’re not doing great. Yeah, me neither.&#8221;

Colbert did eventually pivot to the comedy, at which point he immediately began to attack Trump: &#8220;Who knows what the next four years are going to be like. What we do know is that we are going to be governed by a monstrous child surrounded by cowards and grifters.&#8221;

The special episode aired live during day two of the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/democratic-national-convention">Democratic National Convention</a> in Chicago, where thousands of protestors gathered to demonstrate.   
Pelosi was discussing her new book, “The Art of Power,” when a woman started chanting in the back of the audience, per <a href="https://deadline.com/2024/08/protesters-nancy-pelosi-stephen-colbert-late-show-video-1236045839/">Deadline</a>. 
Colbert responded by saying, “For the people at home who can’t tell, there’s a protest going on in the audience right now. Hold on young lady, I can hear you. We’re actually at a commercial break but the subject is on Israel and Palestine, and if you’ll have a seat, we have to go to a commercial break and when we come back I will ask the next question I had on that subject, if you will listen.”

The show went to break, and Colbert returned and asked Pelosi about her opinion on “the proper use of American power” in foreign countries. 
“If the goal is the peaceful and prosperous future for both Israel and Palestinians, what role does the United States play?” the late-night host asked.
She began by paraphrasing John F. Kennedy. “‘To the countries of the world, ask not what America can do for you, but what we can do working together for the freedom of mankind’ and that is our mission,” Pelosi replied. 
She continued, “Yes, we’ve had a commitment to Israel, that’s been in our security interest to do so. Israel was attacked by a terrorist organization. We want the hostages freed, but we don’t want children killed in Gaza, so we have to come up with a solution.”
“War has no place in a civilized society… We have to learn more about trust and peace and learning about each other rather than to have a conflict by war,” Pelosi added.

“Israel has a right to defend itself … But the other part of it that has been so major for all of us for so many years is that there must be a two-state solution. We cannot have peace unless there’s a two-state solution,” Pelosi added. “Unless you have a two-state solution, we’ll not have a resolution of this.”
The yelling continued, which prompted Colbert to address the audience, saying, “Please don’t interrupt my guests.”

Podcast giant Joe Rogan mocked CNN this week after the audience for a late-night talk show erupted in laughter as the host claimed that the network was known for being &#8220;objective.&#8221;
Rogan highlighted a clip from liberal host Stephen Colbert&#8217;s &#8220;The Late Show&#8221; from Monday night where Colbert was speaking to CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins when he said: “I know you guys are objective over there, that you just report the news as it is.”
The audience immediately burst into laughter, figuring that Colbert meant the line to be funny. He did not.

It has now been 25 full days that Kamala Harris has been the de facto Democratic nominee and has answered zero questions from the media.
You would think that might bother some people in the media.
But no. 
This is the untold story of the last 20 years in American politics. Since Barack Obama came onto the national scene, no one in the media has had any curiosity about asking Democrats questions. 
That&#8217;s how Harris has had 25 days of glowing media coverage, a media massaging her shoulders and bootlicking her at every turn. 
During the Bill Clinton presidency, the media broke some pretty major stories, ranging from Travelgate to Chinagate to the Lewinsky scandal. They did their jobs, at least up to a point. They hated George W.  Bush, so they did everything they could to cover every small peccadillo in which anyone involved in the Bush family or the Bush circle participated. 
Then came Barack Obama. With Obama, the media decided that at long last, their messiah had come, and they were no longer able to ask any questions. In fact, asking questions of Obama would be seen as gauche, might be seen as racist. They didn&#8217;t want to do that.
So, instead, they decided to become the full-fledged Praetorian Guard for Obama. And because Barack Obama reshaped the nature of American politics and because the media had spent eight years with their muscles atrophying, they were able to go hard at Donald Trump.
Everything Trump did or did not do became front-page news — four long years of them claiming that just around the next corner loomed evidence that he was a stooge of Vladimir Putin. Everything Trump ever did was the most scandalous thing anyone had ever done.
Then, Trump lost the election in 2020 and the media went right back to that comforting, warm, urine-filled kiddy pool that was the Obama years.

They&#8217;re there right now. And they&#8217;re enjoying it. They had a three-week intermission where they were forced by circumstance, and by the incompetence of Joe Biden, to do their job.
That had to have been unusual for them, as if they were suddenly hit with volts of electricity and had to get up and walk around.
But it turned out that wasn&#8217;t journalism being alive. That was like the experiment with frogs, where you galvanize a frog and suddenly it moves a little bit even though it&#8217;s dead. They were dead, but then Kamala Harris came in and suddenly they were just as incurious as they ever were about Barack Obama.
But — the American people know it. The American people know it. They know what the legacy media are. And we just had a prime example.
Monday night, on the Stephen Colbert Show, Colbert had on CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. She was talking about how terrible Trump is, what a terrible job he&#8217;s doing, and how Harris has all the momentum.
But then Colbert said, in perfect seriousness, straight-faced, that CNN is objective.
And the crowd — the crowd for Colbert’s shows is invariably to the Left — laughed.
It wasn’t supposed to be a laugh line.
But it was because the media have become such a laughingstock every normal American looks at CNN and sees a Left-wing outlet.

Maybe, just maybe, Harris can&#8217;t get away with this. The media are doing their damnedest to help her steal this election, not by changing the votes or rigging the ballot boxes, but by obscuring her record and positions to completely hide every piece of relevant information about her.
Why has Harris been able to switch every position she has ever held to the complete incuriosity of the media? They keep saying, “Well, you know, eventually we&#8217;ll get to it.”
The question is: When? We are getting down to crunch time. People are going to start turning in their ballots right now.
Harris has been able to skate completely across the campaign with not even a ripple from the legacy media. They are all trying to play defense for her.
Why? Because they have to. Without them playing defense, they have nothing. She is not a good candidate. She never was a good candidate.
Any half-decent politician can read a speech from a teleprompter. That is not difficult. What is difficult is knowing your own positions, being able to speak to those positions, taking on critics, and facing down controversy.
That&#8217;s a hard job. But Harris is not facing down any of that because the media are acting as her Praetorian Guard.
The media’s performance is worthy of Samwise Gamgee in “Lord of the Rings.”

Late-night host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/stephen-colbert">Stephen Colbert</a> seemed surprised when his audience burst out laughing following his assertion that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/cnn">CNN</a> did “objective” reporting. 
CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins was a guest on the show Monday night. As expected, they spent the time discussing the upcoming presidential election, including the changing strategy Republicans have taken now that the Democratic candidate switched from President Joe Biden to Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I know you guys are <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/media-bias">objective</a> over there, that you just report the news as it is,” Colbert said of CNN, which spurred the audience to erupt into laughter. Colbert turned toward the audience, seemingly surprised by the reaction.
“No, I know, CNN makes a, uh, I know this…” he stuttered as they kept laughing.
“Was that supposed to be a laugh line?” Collins asked the late-night host.
“Ah, it wasn’t supposed to be, but…I guess it is,” Colbert replied. “Umm…..” Then he quickly changed the subject, asking if Collins could have predicted that Biden would drop out of the race.
Social media users were quick to react to the clip, which started circulating on X.
“I absolutely loved the joke about CNN being objective. It was a great moment between you and the audience,” an X user <a href="https://x.com/timhatchlive/status/1823356320692548066">wrote</a>, addressing Collins. 
“That was hilarious, even the woke crowd knows,” another<a href="https://x.com/patrick2152/status/1823348451746234452"> replied</a>, referencing how most of Colbert’s audience in New York City was likely to be liberal.

Late night hosts reflected on the “violence” and “horrifying scenes” Americans witnessed at the assassination attempt of former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a> at a Saturday rally in Pennsylvania.
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0WMqot0hsA">NBC host Seth Meyers</a> opened his show on Monday talking about what happened on Saturday, when a shooter opened fire on Trump and wounded the former president, killing one of his supporters, and injuring two other supporters, <a href="https://deadline.com/2024/07/late-night-react-trump-assassination-attempt-seth-meyers-stephen-colbert-1236011495/">Deadline</a> reported.
“But I wanted to start our show tonight by reflecting for a bit on the horrifying scenes we witnessed in Pennsylvania on Saturday and on this fraught moment in American history,” Meyers said. “I want to echo what so many have already said, political violence must be rejected in all its forms.”
“It is both morally wrong and a poison to democracy,” he added. “We must all condemn it and repudiate it and do everything in our power to stop it.”

“Often after a tragedy like this, there are calls to forego politics,” Meyers continued. “But to me, politics — the nonviolent exchange of ideas, and the peaceful resolution of disputes — feels more important than ever. An inclusive politics of compassion, empathy and community, that’s what we must recommit to now.”
CBS’s <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqeGOwT_mv4&amp;t=19s">Stephen Colbert</a> spoke to his audience about how the United States came close “to a great tragedy on Saturday when at a political rally down in Pennsylvania, a 20-year-old gunman shot and nearly killed a former president and the man who today became the 2024 Republican nominee.”
“My immediate reaction when I saw this on Saturday were horror at what was unfolding, relief that Donald Trump had lived and, frankly, grief for my beautiful country — and then fresh horror, as we learned that attendees had also been shot, one of whom died at the rally,” Colbert said.
“I could just as easily start the show moaning on the floor, because how many times do we need to learn the lesson that violence has no role in our politics, that the entire objective of a democracy is to fight out our differences with — as the saying goes — a ballot, not a bullet,” he added.
“Our job as American citizens is to reject violence and violent rhetoric in this time of crisis. … [n]ot only is violence evil, it is useless,” Colbert continued. “As I quoted [science fiction writer Isaac Asimov] when Representative Steve Scalise was shot, ‘Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent.’ Violence, or even calls for violence, invalidate any ideas.”
Over on ABC, Jimmy Kimmel was out and Anthony Anderson was filling in as host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” show.
“All weekend, I kept thinking, ‘I wonder what Jimmy Kimmel’s gonna say about this on Monday. And then I was like, ‘Oh s**t! I am Jimmy Kimmel on Monday,” Anderson told the audience.
“In all seriousness, I do wanna say that our thoughts are with the families of the victims, and that hopefully, this will be a moment that we can all take a step back from the hatred and vitriol in our politics and maybe chill the f**k out,” he added.
NBC host Jimmy Fallon did not address the shooting and largely stayed away from politics, only mentioning Trump’s pick for Vice President, Senator JD Vance (R-OH), the outlet noted.

It only took three-plus years for late-night comedians to do their jobs – i.e. mock President Joe Biden.
Satirists looked the other way while the elderly leader racked up enough viral video gaffes to fuel a dozen YouTube channels.
Now, finally, late-night is addressing the elephant in the electoral room. Call it the ultimate heel pivot.
All it took was an unedited, 90-minute forum where Biden couldn’t fall back on notes, a teleprompter or a subservient reporter.
Biden is suffering from an undisclosed medical matter that’s left him quiet, frail and unable to complete his thoughts.
Or, as Bill Maher recently quipped, the president “famously loves trains but apparently not of thought.”
In Maher’s defense, he hasn’t been as overtly captured as his late-night peers. If Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon and Jon Stewart aren’t reading DNC press releases to the letter, there’s a solid plagiarism case afoot.

“The Tonight Show’s” Jimmy Fallon is the least political animal of the lot, but even he has treated Biden’s obvious condition with a cheeky, “Nothing to see here, folks” attitude.
No more.
He still played up Biden’s age over comments about his mental failings in his first appearances since the June 27 debate. A typical Fallon barb? He said Democrats plan to ape a 2009 Pixar film.
“Tie a bunch of balloons to the White House and hope he flies away like the old guy from ‘Up.’”
A day later, he doubled down on the flailing leader when discussing President Donald Trump’s search for the best Vice-Presidential candidate.
“Trump needs someone who can help him win, so right now the front-runner is Joe Biden.”
Colbert, who pulled as many punches as a WWE wrestler during Biden’s White House days, let loose with a fury that must have caught his audience off guard.

The satirical kill shot? Colbert summoned Trump’s favorite nickname for the current Commander in Chief.
“I guess you could say he’s … Sleepy Joe,” he added, wincing for his audience’s consideration.
“Late Night with Seth Meyers” channeled more fury than anything else in its first original show since the debate. Meyers, nastier than his old “Saturday Night Live” persona, couldn’t deny what Biden’s debate performance revealed.

Nor could he make anything comical from those revelations, including plans to shrink Biden’s work day akin to a cranky toddler’s schedule.
“Your plan to calm fears about his age is an earlier bedtime? Are you hoping we’ll forget he’s 81 if you treat him like he’s 5½?”
The host wasn’t angry that the media covered up Biden’s frail state. Nor did he complain that Team Biden did the same so effectively. Instead, he raged against Biden’s interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos.
&#8220;This isn’t about how you feel. This is about how voters feel. If you truly believe that American democracy is at stake – and it is – then you have to act like it.”
Jon Stewart, the old/semi-regular “Daily Show” host, added his own sense of outrage to the Democrats’ plight.
“He’d been home for almost two weeks. He was jet-lagged? How big is that f***ing jet? The point is, for a campaign based on honesty and decency, the spin about the debate appears to be blatant bulls***. And the redemption tour hasn’t gotten that much better.”
He <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/tv/2024/07/11/jon-stewart-joe-biden-debate-trump/74365788007/">doubled down via his “Weekly Show” podcast</a>.
&#8220;Joe Biden has run on this idea of honesty and decency, but they have not been honest about the condition and the difficulties that he has been facing .. And so it undercuts one of the foundational arguments that they even have made.&#8221;
Freed from his Comedy Central perch, he dug further in, speaking for Americans who bought the media’s lies fed to them by Biden, Inc. 
&#8220;I have been stunned and disappointed and angered by what I saw, and how I&#8217;ve been talked to that I didn&#8217;t see what I saw.&#8221;

If Stewart had perused The Daily Wire over the past three years he’d have learned Biden’s decline is old news.
Let’s be clear about late-night’s sudden about face. The comic hosts want to defeat Trump in November. They realize a diminished Biden has little chance of retaining the White House.
Now, it’s time to usher the aging leader off the stage.
It’s why they, along with the press corps, suddenly started doing their jobs again after a three-year nap.
Not everyone has abdicated their duties as politically astute comics. Kyle Dunnigan of “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/mr-birchum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mr. Birchum</a>” fame has been skewering President Biden for some time now. His withering sketches, alternately goofy and cutting, reveal a Biden that’s familiar to those who didn’t buy the media’s “cheap fake” narratives.
Joe Rogan’s Spotify podcast has roasted Biden’s mental decline, one of many reasons the show’s popularity remains sky high.
Even Dana Carvey, whose political impressions aren’t mean spirited, mocked Biden via his “Fly on the Wall” podcast.
It’s called “speaking truth to power,” a late-night host’s number-one duty. Sadly, once Democrats determine an election year plan, they’ll forget it all over again.

After ardently defending President Joe Biden in the wake of his disastrous performance against Donald Trump on the debate stage, Michigan Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer admitted on Wednesday that she only watched &#8220;clips&#8221; of the June 27 event.
Whitmer, who is also a national co-chair of the Biden campaign, joined late-night host Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night to promote her new book and discuss the Democratic Party&#8217;s worries surrounding Biden. The Michigan governor has been floated as a potential replacement candidate for Democrats if Biden were to drop out of the race, but she has repeatedly said she fully supports the president&#8217;s re-election bid as some Democrats call for him to step aside.
&#8220;Did you watch the debate?&#8221; Colbert asked.
&#8220;I&#8217;ve seen clips of the debate,&#8221; Whitmer said.
&#8220;You didn&#8217;t watch the debate?&#8221; Colbert pressed.
Whitmer laughed and replied, &#8220;I was actually out on the West Coast with a couple of my colleagues [for] a fundraiser.&#8221;
&#8220;I forgot, they don&#8217;t have television in California,&#8221; Colbert quipped.
When Colbert asked Whitmer about her reaction to Biden&#8217;s performance, she changed the subject, telling the late-night host, &#8220;I like your tie.&#8221;

Whitmer finally acknowledged that Biden&#8217;s debate performance was &#8220;lousy,&#8221; but she continued to defend her party&#8217;s leader.
&#8220;I think that the debate rattled a lot of people, right? It was a lousy performance. I don&#8217;t think anyone&#8217;s disputing that,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I spent some time with the president in the White House with a number of my colleagues shortly after the debate, I talked to him this past weekend with all of the other vice chairs of his campaign, co-chairs, and, you know, he&#8217;s up for this.&#8221;
&#8220;He&#8217;s up for the job for the next four years, and I am working my tail off on his behalf,&#8221; Whitmer added.
In a USA Today interview published on Tuesday, Whitmer <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/gretchen-whitmer-defends-biden-says-he-keeps-really-aggressive-calendar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> the debate was only “a 90-minute snapshot of someone who has been back and forth to Europe twice in one week,” adding that Biden keeps a &#8220;really aggressive calendar.&#8221;
Michigan, a vital swing state in the presidential election, is <a href="https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/president/general/2024/michigan/trump-vs-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">slightly leaning</a> in Trump&#8217;s direction, according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls. Biden took Michigan in 2020 after Trump narrowly won the state over Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Late-night comedy host Stephan Colbert took aim at President Joe Biden during his Wednesday night broadcast, delivering a Dr. Seuss-inspired poem suggesting the aging commander-in-chief was not up to the task.
Colbert, who has long been a Biden supporter — particularly when his opposition has been former President Donald Trump — openly questioned the president&#8217;s capabilities in a segment modeled after one of the famous children&#8217;s author&#8217;s nonsensical poems.

Introducing a book titled &#8220;Oh, The Places for Joe&#8221; — a parody of Seuss&#8217; &#8220;Oh, the Places You&#8217;ll Go&#8221; — Colbert began, &#8220;Is he mentally fit? Can he serve a whole term? Can he beat RFK with his brain full of worm? Just ask him, just ask him, the man loves to talk, as long as you ask him before eight o’clock.&#8221;
Colbert suggested that perhaps it was time for Biden to step aside earlier this week, delivering a much more serious statement on courage and the type of attitude of self-sacrifice it would take for someone of Biden&#8217;s stature to take stock of the situation and place the country&#8217;s needs over his own.

&#8220;The competing virtue here, there&#8217;s another competing virtue, and that is self-sacrifice,&#8221; Colbert explained. &#8220;And self-sacrifice takes a particular kind of courage, and that is a courage I believe Joe Biden is capable of. I believe he is a good enough man, he is a good enough president, to put the needs of the country ahead of the needs of his ego.&#8221;
&#8220;And however painful that might be, it is possible that handing leadership to a younger generation is the right thing for the greater goodest,&#8221; Colbert finished, prompting laughs as he added, &#8220;Or good as, either one.&#8221;
A number of prominent figures have already begun to call for Biden to step aside, including actor/Democratic donor George Clooney — and the Biden team has reportedly said that they believe former President Barack Obama may be steering vocal criticisms of Biden to push him out of the 2024 presidential race.

During the talk show CBS host&#8217;s opening monologue on &#8220;The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,&#8221; he acknowledged that the Princess of Wales&#8217; whereabouts had been top of mind.
Colbert had repeatedly made jokes about Princess Kate&#8217;s disappearance and rumors that her husband Prince William had an affair, fueling online conspiracies. Last week in a video statement, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kate-middleton-announces-cancer-diagnosis">Middleton</a> broke her silence on her health status after undergoing abdominal surgery in January, revealing she was diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy.

&#8220;And for the last six weeks to two months, everybody has been talking about the mystery of Kate Middleton&#8217;s disappearance from public life,&#8221; Colbert said. &#8220;And two weeks ago, we did some jokes about that mystery and all the attendant fru-fra in the reporting about that.&#8221;
&#8220;And when I made those jokes, that upset some people, and even before her diagnosis was revealed, and I can understand that,&#8221; he added. &#8220;A lot of my jokes have upset people in the past, and I’m sure some of my jokes will upset people in the future. But there&#8217;s a standard that I try to hold myself to, and that is I do not make light of somebody else&#8217;s tragedy.&#8221;
&#8220;Now, I don&#8217;t know whether her prognosis is a tragic one, she&#8217;s the future Queen of England and I assume she&#8217;s going to get the best possible medical care,&#8221; Colbert continued. &#8220;But regardless of what it is, I know, and I&#8217;m sure many of you, far too many of us know, that any cancer diagnosis of any kind is harrowing for the patient and for their family. And though I&#8217;m sure they don&#8217;t need it from me, I and everyone here at &#8216;The Late Show&#8217; would like to extend our well wishes and heartfelt hope that her recovery is swift and thorough.&#8221;
In one episode earlier this month, Colbert took affair rumors public when he mentioned on the show that &#8220;internet sleuths are guessing that Kate&#8217;s absence may be related to her husband and the future king of England, William, having an affair.&#8221;

Say it with me –– the Marchioness of Cholmondeley –– what a beautiful name!&#8221; he added, mentioning Lady Rose Hanbury&#8217;s full title and mocking her name. &#8220;According to tabloids back then, when Kate supposedly confronted him about it, he laughed it off, saying there was nothing to it. Always a good response when your wife accuses you of cheating.&#8221;
In 2019, the Prince of Wales issued a statement slamming the allegations as &#8220;false and extremely damaging,&#8221; according to The <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/stephen-colbert-apologizes-kate-middleton-1235860205/">Hollywood Reporter</a>. Last week, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/rose-hanbury-responds-to-prince-william-affair-rumors-report">Hanbury</a>, through her attorney, called the rumors &#8220;completely false.&#8221;
Colbert also mocked the photo fail of Middleton&#8217;s family portrait, which the palace later admitted had been edited before being released to news agencies.
