Actress Stacey Dash is distancing herself from former President Donald Trump, Fox News, and past &#8220;offensive&#8221; comments she made that were critical of identity politics.
Speaking with <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9342409/Stacey-Dash-apologizes-offensive-comments-turns-Donald-Trump-quits-politics.html">The Daily Mail</a>, the &#8220;Clueless&#8221; star denounced the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol as &#8220;appalling and stupid&#8221; and said that supporting Trump publicly put her in &#8220;some kind of box&#8221; that she doesn&#8217;t &#8220;belong&#8221; in.
&#8220;I think the Capitol Riots were appalling,&#8221; she told The Daily Mail. &#8220;When that happened I was like &#8216;Ok, I&#8217;m done. I&#8217;m truly done.&#8217; Because senseless violence of any kind I denounce. What happened on January 6 was just appalling and stupid.&#8221;
Dash added, &#8220;Being a supporter of Trump has put me in some kind of box that I don&#8217;t belong in. But he&#8217;s not the president. I&#8217;m going to give the president that we have right now a chance.&#8221;
The &#8220;new Stacey,&#8221; she said, would never work for Fox News, either. Dash previously worked as a contributor for the network before she was fired in 2017.
&#8220;I&#8217;ve lived my life being angry, which is what I was on Fox News,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I was the angry, conservative, black woman. And at that time in my life, it was who I was. I realized in 2016 that anger is unsustainable and it will destroy you. I made a lot of mistakes because of that anger.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;m not a victim of anyone. Working for Fox at the time, that was my job. I did my job from the place I was at. Stacey now would never work at Fox, would never work for a news network or be a news contributor.&#8221;
Dash noted that she&#8217;s been &#8220;basically blacklisted&#8221; by Hollywood since coming out as conservative: &#8220;I&#8217;ve been basically blacklisted. Being a black conservative is not easy.&#8221;
&#8220;This idea that people think I&#8217;m coming from a place of judgement with the things I believe? No, it&#8217;s experience,&#8221; she continued, adding, &#8220;I&#8217;m from the hood. The codes of the street are very conservative. If you&#8217;re not a hustler, if you don&#8217;t know how to hustle, how to make your money, you&#8217;re a lamb for the slaughter.&#8221;
Dash notably said in January 2020 during a &#8220;Fox &amp; Friends&#8221; appearance that stations like BET (Black Entertainment Television) should not exist.

Dash told The Daily Mail of past controversies, &#8220;Things that I did say, that I should not have said them the way I said them. They were very arrogant and prideful and angry. And that&#8217;s who Stacey was, but that&#8217;s not who Stacey is now. Stacey&#8217;s someone who has compassion, empathy.&#8221;
The actress, who stars in the new film &#8220;Roe v. Wade,&#8221; stood by her pro-life views, however.
&#8220;I have my values and my morals. My position on abortion is because of my own personal experience,&#8221; she said.
&#8220;I was on the abortion table with my son. They were about to wheel me into the operating room because I was four months pregnant. I said &#8216;God, please, you have to tell me what to do. And I don&#8217;t want a sign, I don&#8217;t want a whisper. You have to tell me.'&#8221;
&#8216;God spoke to me like thunder, and he said &#8216;Keep your son,'&#8221; Dash detailed. &#8220;He even told me it was a boy. I ripped the IV out my arm, jumped off the table, very dramatic.&#8221;
&#8220;But my son&#8217;s 30 years old today. I&#8217;m just so grateful that I took that time and I listened to God. That&#8217;s why I&#8217;m pro-life, from my own personal experience.&#8221;

Actress and outspoken conservative Stacey Dash is running for Congress in the state of California.
On Monday, the &#8220;Clueless&#8221; star <a href="http://docquery.fec.gov/pdf/254/201802269095589254/201802269095589254.pdf">filed</a> with FEC to take a run at California&#8217;s 44th district, which is currently occupied by Rep. Nanette Barragán, a Democrat.
The district has a strong record of voting Democrat. &#8220;The district, which includes Compton, Watts, San Pedro and North Long Beach, has long been represented by a Democrat. It overwhelmingly voted for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016, 83%-12%,&#8221; <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/26/politics/stacey-dash-files-paperwork-congressional-run/index.html">reports</a> CNN.
Dash teased her run on social media earlier this month. &#8220;A number of people online and off have suggested I run for political office,&#8221; she posted on Twitter. &#8220;I wanted to see what my online community thinks of this idea as I mull the possibilities. Thoughts?&#8221;

Roe V. Wade is an upcoming film that seeks to pull back the curtain on the lies, deception, and corruption behind the controversial 1973 Supreme Court case that legalized abortion in the United States. Since the decision, over 60 million babies have been aborted through the practice. 
The movie is being produced independently by Hollywood actor Nick Loeb (The Good War), Alveda King (pro-life activist and niece of Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.), and Nick Byassee.
Loeb describes the film as a &#8220;little bit of a conspiracy movie&#8221; and &#8220;a social war movie&#8221; that tells the story of how the pro-choice organizations Planned Parenthood and NARAL searched the country for a case to bring suit over abortion. They set their sights on Norma McCorvey, who became a pro-life champion, also known as &#8220;Jane Roe.&#8221; During the case, false statistics and information was fed to an eager press who happily disseminated the talking points to the public. 
According to their Indiegogo <a href="https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/roe-v-wade-the-movie-film#/">page</a>, &#8220;the movie is the real untold story of how people lied; how the media lied; and how the courts were manipulated to pass a law that has since killed over 60 million Americans. Many documentaries have been made, but no one has had the courage to make an actual feature film, a theatrical movie about the true story.&#8221;
&#8220;Hollywood only wants you to hear their version of the story &#8212; in fact, there are 3 movies currently in development that take a pro-abortion stance,&#8221; it continues. &#8220;But you shouldn&#8217;t be surprised. Hollywood has always had an agenda to influence Americans to accept abortion, even if they have to re-write history to do it.&#8221;
The movie generated controversy after Facebook blocked their page from inviting people to view or share their content on the social media website. According to <a href="https://townhall.com/tipsheet/laurettabrown/2018/02/01/untitled-n2442713">Townhall</a>, Loeb said that Facebook claimed that they &#8220;were spamming by inviting our friends.&#8221;
Academy Award and four-time Golden Globe winner Jon Voight (Coming Home), actress Stacey Dash (Dysfunctional Friends), and Stephen Baldwin (The Flyboys), who also serves as an executive producer, have all signed onto the film&#8217;s cast.

Handler was listing all the different types of &#8220;racists&#8221; there are in America for a show promo and ended her predictable, Trump-bashing rant with the attack on Dash, former Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson and former Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke, identifying them as &#8220;black white supremacists,&#8221; or &#8220;black people who think white people are better than them.&#8221;

Dash returned fire in her own response to Handler, which was <a href="http://ijr.com/the-declaration/2017/09/978708-chelsea-handler-called-stacey-dash-black-white-supremacist-response-pure-fire/">published</a> by Young Conservatives.
&#8220;Myself, Ben Carson, Sheriff David Clarke are &#8216;white supremacists&#8217; in black skin. Is that it?&#8221; wrote the Clueless star. &#8220;Because we disagree with the liberal, Left agenda &#8212; a wealthy liberal celebrity gets to slander a brilliant and famous neurosurgeon, a respected man of the law, and me? There&#8217;s an opportunity to invoke white privilege here somewhere, I&#8217;m sure. Wait, I forgot, that&#8217;s a title exclusive to conservatives only.&#8221;
Dash then steamrolled Handler&#8217;s veiled racism, explaining her upbringing, and rhetorically asking if that was &#8220;&#8216;black&#8217; enough&#8221; for Handler.
&#8220;Maybe read my autobiography and about my childhood of being exposed to drugs, violence, and abuse while growing up in the Bronx. Does that make me &#8216;black&#8217; enough for you and anyone else who shares this judgmental and simplistic assessment of my beliefs?&#8221; wrote the actress.
Handler, as you might recall, vowed to leave the country if Trump were to win the 2016 election. Not only has she reneged on that promise, she also cried pathetically on her show after her Pantsuit Goddess fell short of her coronation. Clearly Handler is still suffering immensely from the loss.

Over the weekend, Grey&#8217;s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams gave a racially-charged acceptance speech, rife with victimhood rhetoric, outlandish claims of oppression, police-bashing and a demand that whites who criticize or offer meaningless support to Black Lives Matter shut up and &#8220;sit down.&#8221;
Of course, the media salivated over the speech; Williams received high praise from the <a href="http://www.etonline.com/news/191968_jesse_williams_delivers_impassioned_speech_at_the_bet_awards_calling_for_justice_and_equality/">usual</a> <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/jesse-williams-bet-awards-humanitarian-award_us_57708cebe4b017b379f65077">divisive</a> <a href="http://www.salon.com/2016/06/27/watch_in_a_just_world_jesse_williams_speech_at_the_bet_awards_would_break_the_internet/">suspects</a> on the left.
But outspoken conservative Stacey Dash was not having it. Dash called Williams&#8217; speech an &#8220;attack on white people,&#8221; blasted his victimhood rhetoric and reiterated her previous public criticism of BET, claiming that the network is &#8220;keeping racism and segregation alive.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;ve said it before and I&#8217;ll say it again: BET is keeping racism and segregation alive and this past Sunday&#8217;s awards show proves it,&#8221; wrote Dash in a <a href="http://www.patheos.com/blogs/staceydash/2016/06/racist-speech-at-bet-awards-attacked-white-people/">blog post</a> on Wednesday. &#8220;Particularly the speech given by Grey&#8217;s Anatomy star Jesse Williams, whose tirade after receiving the 2016 BET Humanitarian Award for his black activism was nothing short of an attack on white people.&#8221;
The actress also slammed Williams for his attack on our police force: &#8220;What he said was straight out of the Black Lives Matter playbook,&#8221; she wrote, &#8220;reminding the audience that police do &#8216;not kill white people&#8217; and in fact, prefer pulling &#8216;a drive by on a 12-year-old kid [Tamir Rice] and then going home to make a sandwich.&#8217;&#8221;
Dash highlighted Williams&#8217; condemnation for &#8220;those white people who would dare reach out and empathize with the black &#8216;struggle&#8217; or offer meaningless support to the black community&#8221; and, more specifically, the Black Lives Matter movement&#8212;which she is not a fan of:
Black Lives Matter has &#8220;planted the seed of segregation and no longer want to live in &#8216;perfect harmony,&#8217; like the old song wished,&#8221; wrote Dash. &#8220;And if Michael Jackson once sang, &#8216;It don&#8217;t matter if you&#8217;re black or white,&#8217; well, it does now, at least from their perspective.&#8221;
But, according to the actress, Williams, &#8220;the son of a black father and white mother,&#8221; served up &#8220;his worst criticisms for whites who have committed so-called cultural appropriation of black culture and entertainment.&#8221;
Here&#8217;s the highly contentious part of Williams&#8217; speech Dash was reacting to:

Yes, Williams did actually say that white people today discard black &#8220;bodies like rinds of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strange_Fruit">strange fruit</a>,&#8221; as in the reference to lynched blacks hanging from trees in the deep Democratic South. 
Dash called the Grey&#8217;s Anatomy star &#8220;the perfect example of a HOLLYWOOD plantation slave,&#8221; adding that he was only &#8220;spewing hate and anger.&#8221; 
&#8220;Because you my man are just like everyone else hustling to get money,&#8221; she said. &#8220;But your cognitive dissidents has you getting it from THAT BYSTANDER whom YOU DONT NEED. Yes. BLACK ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION is WHITE OWNED.&#8221;
The conservative said that the &#8220;chip&#8221; on Williams&#8217; shoulder &#8220;will weigh you down and keep you from flying free.&#8221; She continued, &#8220;But true freedom is never free. You have to know how to fly. If anyone is making you feel this way its you. Living in a psychological prison of your own making. If anyone is GHETTO-IZING anyone, it&#8217;s people like you letting the BETs and other media outlets portray us in stereotypes.&#8221;
Dash suggested Williams &#8220;get over&#8221; himself and &#8220;get on with it.&#8221;
&#8220;Maybe now people will see why I&#8217;m so against this racist network,&#8221; she said.

Actress Stacey Dash, an outspoken opponent of abortion, has revealed that she was in the process of aborting her son when <a href="http://www.lifenews.com/2016/06/01/actress-stacey-dash-was-on-the-table-ready-for-the-abortion-when-god-told-her-to-get-up/">God intervened</a>, prompting her to call off the abortion and bear her child.
Speaking to <a href="http://www.people.com/article/stacey-dash-abuse-addiction-her-near-abortion">People,</a> Dash revisited her brutal childhood: molested at the age of four, doing cocaine at 16, allowing her boyfriend to continually physically abuse her when she was in her twenties. She told People, &#8220;I couldn&#8217;t find happiness. It got to a point where I didn&#8217;t even want to live anymore. The voice in my head was saying, &#8216;There&#8217;s nothing here for you.&#8217;&#8221;
Then, twenty-five years ago, after getting pregnant by her boyfriend, musician Christopher Williams, Dash decided to abort her child. She recalled, &#8220;When I got pregnant, I was doing a lot of drugs and I didn&#8217;t want to live. I wanted to die. I was going to have an abortion. I was crying and I said to God, &#8216;Please tell me what to do.&#8217; And God told me, &#8216;Keep your son.&#8217; I ripped the IV out of my arm and I said, &#8216;I&#8217;m keeping my son.&#8217;&#8221;
Dash&#8217;s son Austin is 25 now, and she has joined celebrities Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammer in condemning abortion. Last October, she ripped Planned Parenthood <a href="http://www.patheos.com/blogs/staceydash/2015/10/planned-parenthood-claims-to-help-black-women-while-profiting-off-the-murder-of-black-babies/">at Patheos.com</a>, writing, &#8220;I am so sick of hearing Planned Parenthood and their abortion allies on the Left claim to be pro-women and pro-minorities. The facts just don&#8217;t back up their boasts. If you are so pro African American communities, Planned Parenthood, stop targeting black women and aborting our children.&#8221;

Though apparently <a href="http://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/awards/stacey-dashs-oscars-appearance-confuses-audience-n527696">not many people got the joke</a>, Oscars host Chris Rock invited Fox News contributor Stacey Dash out on the stage Thursday to pay ironic tribute to Black History Month. 
The 88th Annual Academy Awards was a racially charged event, with <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/news/3744/watch-chris-rocks-opening-monologue-bashes-racist-james-barrett">Rock playing up the controversy</a> to comedic effect throughout the evening. During one transition, Rock told the crowd that the Academy had installed a new &#8220;Director for Minority Outreach&#8221; and then, to the audience&#8217;s surprise and/or confusion, invited out Dash. 
&#8220;I cannot wait to help my people out. Happy Black History Month!&#8221; said Dash with a giggle. &#8220;Thank you!&#8221; 
The response from the crowd was probably not what Rock had anticipated, the room remaining mostly silent with only a small number offering hesitant applause and tepid laughter.

In response, activist group <a href="http://www.becauseofthemwecan.com/">Because of Them We Can</a> has decided to promote the &#8220;no negativity&#8221; event of Black History Month by having children read scripted lines ridiculing Dash. 
After showing a clip of Dash&#8217;s comments to &#8220;Fox and Friends,&#8221; the ad cuts to several children deriding Dash and then arguing for the importance of Black History Month. 
&#8220;What?&#8221; says one child. &#8220;Excuse me?&#8221; says another. &#8220;What did she just say?&#8221; 
&#8220;Is that even legal?&#8221; asks a little boy. &#8220;Uh, that don&#8217;t make any sense,&#8221; says another kid.
The kids then begin to explain why Black History Month is important, emphasizing that it is a positive celebration and does not focus only on slavery.
&#8220;Black history is our time &#8230; to acknowledge our strength &#8230; our accomplishments &#8230; and our beauty,&#8221; say the children.
&#8220;It forces us to talk about our amazing history &#8230; and it didn&#8217;t begin with slavery,&#8221; they say. &#8220;No negativity, no stereotypes&#8230; all excellence .. because that&#8217;s who we are.&#8221;
&#8220;We&#8217;re not canceling anything,&#8221; declares one little girl.
