Two-time failed Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/stacey-abrams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stacey Abrams</a> lashed out at CNN this week, falsely claiming that the network was spreading &#8220;disinformation&#8221; about remarks that she did, in fact, make after losing her first gubernatorial campaign in 2018.
Abrams got into a spat with CNN host Kaitlan Collins on Tuesday night after Collins brought up how Abrams denied the results of the 2018 election and insisted that she had won and that the election was stolen.
&#8220;I do remember the time you told The New York Times, I won,&#8221; Collins noted. &#8220;You did describe it as a stolen election. The courts did side with the Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, in some of the challenges as well.&#8221;
Abrams fired back: &#8220;Kaitlan, that&#8217;s actually incorrect. And normally, I wouldn&#8217;t cut you off. But you&#8217;re repeating disinformation.&#8221;
Abrams said that she has &#8220;never claimed to be the Governor of Georgia,&#8221; which is not something that Collins ever accused her of saying.
After losing her election, Abrams refused to concede and claimed dozens of times that &#8220;it was a stolen election.&#8221;
In 2019, Abrams <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTlqOORwDek&amp;t=197s">claimed</a>: “I didn’t lose. I got the votes. But we won’t know exactly how many because of how they cheated.”
She also <a href="https://womenscaucus.co.uk/2019/03/10/stacey-abrams-wants-you-to-help-put-up-a-fair-fight/">claimed</a> in 2019 that she knows in her &#8220;heart of hearts, we won.&#8221;

Twice-failed Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/stacey-abrams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stacey Abrams</a> claimed during a recent interview that discriminatory &#8220;diversity, equity, and inclusion&#8221; policies were a crucial part of democracy, education, and the economy.
Abrams, who denied the results of her first gubernatorial race, made the remarks late last week during an MSNBC interview with Al Sharpton.
&#8220;We should be terrified of the person who wants to come back into the White House, strip us of our rights, rescind the economic progress we have made, and undermine the democracy that we hold to be so dear,&#8221; she said. &#8220;We have to remember that built into every victory are the seeds of defeat and built into every defeat are the seeds of victory. We have seen victory, but we cannot rest on that victory and think that it is impermeable and impervious to harm.&#8221;
&#8220;What we know is that the attack on diversity, equity, and inclusion, DEI, is an attack on democracy, it is an attack on education, it is an attack on how our economy works because what Senator Ossoff and Senator Warnock represent are pathways to the American dream, they are proof points and those proof points scare those who want this world to be more narrow and restrictive,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;And so we have to recognize that our opportunity to hold to those successes requires our constant attention and constant attending. You know, voting is not magic, voting is medicine, but it also means that it is a constant engagement and we cannot have a moment of success, we have to keep working constantly at moving ourselves forward.&#8221;

Abrams, last seen <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-now-throwing-her-weight-around-with-group-advocating-gas-stove-regulations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">throwing her weight</a> around with a group advocating that Americans ditch their gas stoves, released a new fiction book on Tuesday titled, &#8220;Rogue Justice.&#8221; Here&#8217;s an interview she did with CNN&#8217;s Jake Tapper on Tuesday about that novel. As described by Media Research Center&#8217;s Curtis Houck, the media appearance is &#8220;what one could call the interview equivalent of a back or foot massage at a five-star hotel and spa.&#8221;

He has been a strong governor, and that is a real opportunity.&#8221;

For context, after the 2018 election, the Georgia Democrat refused to concede on election night only to spend the next four years bemoaning that Governor Brian Kemp (R) had effectively stolen the election from her. Then, after he signed election reform laws that included items such as voter ID, she alleged he was suppressing the black vote even further.
After primary and general election turnout saw record early numbers with little wait times and near zero reports of voting difficulty, she alleged that the overall smooth process was not necessarily evidence that suppression did not exist. Other Democrats <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/democrats-georgias-record-voter-turnout-is-actually-voter-suppression" target="_blank" rel="noopener">concurred</a> with that assessment.
In the waning days of her campaign, she spent her time appearing at concerts pushing abortion and claimed that Republicans wanted to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-tells-oprah-elect-me-or-transgender-kids-will-be-banned-from-playing-with-friends-parents-will-be-forced-to-lie-and-gay-people-wont-be-protected" target="_blank" rel="noopener">outlaw certain friends from playing with each other</a> and would force parents to lie.
In 2022, Abrams was trounced by Kemp, who won with <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2022/11/08/us/elections/results-georgia-governor.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">53.4% of the vote</a>.
Abrams also has experience abroad acting as a part of a 40-member crew <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-pops-up-in-nigeria-as-an-election-observer-losing-side-promptly-alleges-rigged-results" target="_blank" rel="noopener">observing</a> polls in Nigeria’s elections.

A group of world elites, including individuals connected to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/pfizer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pfizer</a>, the U.S. intelligence community, and the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/world-economic-forum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">World Economic Forum</a>, are in Portugal this weekend for a meeting to discuss a variety of topics, including <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/artificial-intelligence" target="_blank" rel="noopener">artificial intelligence</a>, Ukraine, and China. 
The high-profile attendees of the annual Bilderberg meeting, which include Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla and World Economic Forum President Børge Brende <a href="https://bilderbergmeetings.org/press/press-release/participants" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to a participant list, will discuss a variety of topics including artificial intelligence, banking, China, energy transition, Europe, industrial policy, NATO, Russia, transnational threats, Ukraine, and the United States&#8217; role in the world. 
The meeting, which is <a href="https://bilderbergmeetings.org/press/press-release/press-release" target="_blank" rel="noopener">taking place</a> from May 18-21 in Lisbon, will feature about 130 participants in fields like finance, government, and tech from 23 different countries. Due to the nature of the meetings, little is known about the specifics of what the leaders will discuss. 
“The Bilderberg Meeting is a forum for informal discussions about major issues. The meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule, which states that participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) nor any other participant may be revealed,” the meeting’s website says. 
According to event organizers, the Bilderberg meetings were begun in 1954 to create dialogue between European and North American elites. 
“Thanks to the private nature of the Meeting, the participants take part as individuals rather than in any official capacity, and hence are not bound by the conventions of their office or by pre-agreed positions. As such, they can take time to listen, reflect and gather insights. There is no detailed agenda, no resolutions are proposed, no votes are taken and no policy statements are issued,” the Bilderberg website says. 
Several American political and military figures are listed as attendees, including two-time failed Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/stacey-abrams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stacey Abrams</a>, U.S. general and current Supreme Allied Commander Europe Christopher Cavoli, statesman Henry Kissinger, former Obama administration National Security Council director Tarun Chhabra, and former Trump administration National Security Council member Matthew Pottinger. 
Individuals linked to the Biden administration were also listed as participants, including former National Economic Council director Brian Deese, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Director Jen Easterly, Commerce Department China advisor Elizabeth Economy, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, and National Security Council member Tom Wright.

Media and cultural figures were also scheduled to be in attendance, including liberal Atlantic journalist Annie Applebaum, historian and Stanford fellow Niall Ferguson, Museum of Modern Art chair Marie-Josée Kravis, Bloomberg News editor-in-chief John Micklethwait, and The Economist editor-in-chief Zanny Minton Beddoes. 
Republican donors and businessmen Ken Griffin and Peter Thiel were also listed as participating, in addition to Microsoft CEO Satya ​​Nadella, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Goldman Sachs COO John Waldron, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams is back from her world tour, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-pops-up-in-nigeria-as-an-election-observer-losing-side-promptly-alleges-rigged-results" target="_blank" rel="noopener">apparently having successfully served</a> as an election observer in Nigeria. The &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-election-denier-denier" target="_blank" rel="noopener">election denier denier</a>&#8221; is now throwing her weight around with an environmental group reportedly connected to some of the recent calls for gas stove bans and regulations.
Earlier this week, Fox News <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/stacey-abrams-getsnew-job-after-election-loss-joins-environmental-group-trying-eliminate-gas-stoves" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that Abrams will serve as senior counsel for Rewiring America. In that role, she will help &#8220;launch and scale a national awareness campaign and a network of large and small communities working to help Americans go electric.&#8221;
It would appear that Abrams will help lead the push for the electrification of America.
&#8220;She will also guide the organization as it builds the tools and capacity to connect Americans and their communities to machines, installers, Inflation Reduction Act incentives, and jobs in the clean energy transition,&#8221; the group said.
The group may claim that the effort is being done out of love of Mother Nature, but a cynic — and some might say a realist — would allege that it is one giant cash grab.
Consider that as part of the Inflation Reduction Act, the Biden administration is spending more than $300 billion on green energy initiatives. That&#8217;s a whole lot of moolah up for grabs if you can get in on it early. That money is being steered by <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/aoc-wants-credit-for-bidens-green-energy-agenda-let-her-have-it" target="_blank" rel="noopener">uber creep</a> and Democrat staple John Podesta.
Fox News has also previously <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/dark-money-group-pushing-gas-stove-crackdown-significant-financial-stake-green-energy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that the founders of Rewiring America — Alex Laskey, Saul Griffith, and Ari Matusiak — have made significant money off government funding in the green energy sphere while advocating for policies that benefit their bottom dollar via the non-profit group.
&#8220;It&#8217;s a shocking amount of money that they&#8217;re hauling in with this scheme of theirs,&#8221; Tom Pyle, the president of the Institute for Energy Research, told Fox News. &#8220;I call it Big Green Inc. It is literally a business for these guys and they cloak themselves in the mantra of trying to save the planet. But, really, this is just very sophisticated self-dealing.&#8221;

The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/georgia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Georgia</a> secretary of state’s office is investigating failed gubernatorial candidate <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/stacey-abrams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stacey Abrams</a>’ New Georgia Project for “financial irregularities.”
The probe into Abrams’ voting-rights charity comes after reports by The Washington Free Beacon outlined financial mismanagement by several of the charity’s former top executives, according to the <a href="https://freebeacon.com/democrats/georgia-secretary-of-state-investigating-financial-irregularities-at-stacey-abrams-charity-following-free-beacon-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Free Beacon</a>. Subpoenas in the state investigation are expected to be sent soon.
In December, the New Georgia Project was <a href="https://freebeacon.com/democrats/stacey-abramss-nonprofit-flouts-state-charity-laws-across-country/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">found</a> to be soliciting donations in at least nine states without a license. Some state laws require charities to file financial disclosures with the IRS before raising money within a state’s borders.
Last month, the New Georgia Project was <a href="https://freebeacon.com/democrats/stacey-abrams-charity-has-a-500000-problem-in-its-latest-tax-filing/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">found</a> to be missing roughly $600,000 in unaccounted for spending. The group’s 2021 financial records showed payments of $533,846 for consulting and $67,500 in grant money to the Black Male Initiative. The Black Male Initiative never reported receiving the payments, however.
The 2021 filings were handed to the IRS two months after they were due and three months after the ouster of former New Georgia Project CEO Nse Ufot. Ufot is a Nigeria-born community organizer who was living in Canada in 2014 when Abrams recruited her to run the New Georgia Project. Ufot left the group in October.
New Georgia Project’s 2020 financial filings showed $0 paid in payroll taxes despite employing 173 workers, an anomaly and red flag, according to nonprofit experts interviewed by the Free Beacon. The financial forms included other oddities, as well.
Abrams is a prominent voting rights activist and twice-failed candidate for governor of Georgia. In 2022, Abrams lost her latest bid to become Georgia’s top executive by over 7 points to Republican Governor Brian Kemp.
Since her election defeat, Abrams has returned to activism. This week, she <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-pops-up-in-nigeria-as-an-election-observer-losing-side-promptly-alleges-rigged-results" target="_blank" rel="noopener">appeared</a> in Nigeria to monitor its elections, traveling with a group from the International Republican Institute and the National Democratic Institute.

Despite Abrams&#8217; glowing remarks, it should be noted that Nigeria has a very strict voter ID law that uses voter ID machines to protect the vote. Abrams has long <a href="https://www.247media.com.ng/how-to-check-and-get-voters-card-id-number-in-nigeria/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claimed</a> that voter ID laws in U.S. are tantamount to oppression and racism.
Well, as of Tuesday, both opposition parties in Nigeria&#8217;s presidential elections were calling for a do-over claiming that the results were corrupted in part because voter ID technology was stolen from certain polling places, <a href="https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/2/26/election-count-under-way-despite-some-extended-voting-in-nigeria" target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing delays and glitches</a>.
The People&#8217;s Democratic Party, Labour Party, and African Democratic Congress released a joint statement claiming that they had lost confidence in the electoral body chairman, Mahmood Yakubu.

Abrams&#8217; posse appeared to concur with that evaluation.
&#8220;The election fell well short of Nigerian citizens&#8217; reasonable expectations,&#8221; a spokesperson for the International Republican Institute (IRI) and National Democratic Institute (NDI) <a href="https://www.kake.com/story/48469537/opposition-parties-in-nigeria-call-for-fresh-elections-as-ruling-party-takes-the-lead" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> the press.
Abrams, for her part, also has experience decrying election results. The Georgia Democrat refused to concede on election night in 2018, only to spend the next four years bemoaning that Gov. Brian Kemp (R) had effectively stolen the election from her. Then, after he signed election reform laws that included items such as voter ID, she alleged he was suppressing the black vote even further.
After primary and general election turnout saw record early numbers with little wait times and near zero reports of voting difficulty, she alleged that the overall smooth process was not necessarily evidence that suppression did not exist. Other Democrats <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/democrats-georgias-record-voter-turnout-is-actually-voter-suppression" target="_blank" rel="noopener">concurred</a> with that assessment.
In the waning days of her campaign, she spent her time appearing at concerts pushing abortion and claimed that Republicans wanted to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-tells-oprah-elect-me-or-transgender-kids-will-be-banned-from-playing-with-friends-parents-will-be-forced-to-lie-and-gay-people-wont-be-protected" target="_blank" rel="noopener">outlaw certain friends from playing with each other</a> and would force parents to lie.
Similar to Nigeria&#8217;s apparent lack of transparency in their elections, <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/12/19/stacey-abrams-campaign-reportedly-1-million-in-debt-after-midterm-loss/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Abrams&#8217;s former campaign staffers</a> were left wondering where all of Abrams&#8217; money went. Despite raising more than $100 million, her team ended up more than $1 million in debt while her staffers went without paychecks as of December.
Through it all, Abrams has not ruled out running for higher office. Perhaps she can finagle her way into power in Nigeria if another election takes place.

Failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams boasted a massive fundraising haul of more than $100 million in the 2022 cycle, but now her campaign says it owes money and staffers were reportedly cut from pay shortly after the November election.
The Democrat&#8217;s two-time campaign manager, Lauren Groh-Wargo, told Axios the team owes more than $1 million in debt to vendors after Abrams lost to Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA) <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2022/11/08/us/elections/results-georgia-governor.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">by nearly 300,000 votes</a>.
“We did not just lose, we got blown out,” <a href="https://www.axios.com/2022/12/19/stacey-abrams-campaign-georgia-governor-debt" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Groh-Wargo told the news outlet</a>. “It was the most sub-optimal situation to be in. And we will be dealing with that situation for some time.”
Although Groh-Wargo said a &#8220;cavalcade of negative press and negative polling&#8221; was a burden on fundraising in the final stretch, Abrams had outraised Kemp via her campaign and leadership committee, One Georgia, with a total of $105.3 million through October 25, according to <a href="https://www.gpb.org/news/2022/11/03/kemp-abrams-blow-away-previous-gubernatorial-campaign-fundraising-record" target="_blank" rel="noopener">finance reports cited by GPB.</a> Kemp, through his campaign and leadership committee, Georgians First, raised $81.5 million up to that point in time.
The GBP report said the total amount raised between the two sides broke the previous record. Together they raised four times the amount Abrams and Kemp did when they first faced off in 2018. Financial disclosures <a href="https://www.fec.gov/help-candidates-and-committees/dates-and-deadlines/2022-reporting-dates/2022-quarterly-filers/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">for the final quarter of this year</a> are due next month.
Despite her first loss four years ago, Abrams was seen as a rising star within the Democratic Party, and even touted how she would be &#8220;<a href="https://www.elle.com/culture/career-politics/a32132819/stacey-abrams-on-voting-rights-covid-19-and-being-vice-president/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">an excellent running mate</a>&#8221; to Joe Biden during his 2020 presidential campaign. Abrams, who previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives, has long been criticized by Republicans and conservative media for her <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/campaigns/stacey-abrams-tells-rachel-maddow-she-did-not-challenge-the-outcome-of-2018-election" target="_blank" rel="noopener">refusal to concede</a> to Kemp in their first matchup.
A former Abrams campaign staffer <a href="https://www.11alive.com/article/news/politics/stacey-abrams-campaign-more-than-1-million-in-debt/85-1be7ff03-5b0d-4b67-878b-9968a49c6fc1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told 11Alive</a>, an NBC affiliate in Atlanta, most of the candidate&#8217;s 2022 team of roughly 180 received their final checks on November 15, just one week after Kemp won reelection, though this person noted that health benefits stretched through the month and the campaign&#8217;s human resources department helped members find new jobs. By comparison, Axios reported that staff in Kemp&#8217;s campaign were paid through November and received bonuses.
&#8220;If we had ended the campaign with enough money to pay staff through January, and we lost — I think there would be pieces coming out about why does [the campaign] have like $2 million in bank,&#8221; the former staffer told 11Alive. &#8220;I think the campaign was as transparent about things as it possibly could be.&#8221;
A former Abrams staffer who spoke with Axios was less generous. ​​“I figured, $100 million? They should be able to pay me until December,” this person said.

Weeks after losing her second attempt to become the governor of Georgia, <a href="http://dailywire.com/topic/stacey-abrams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stacey Abrams</a> might already have her eyes on a new position: the federal government’s top telecommunications regulator.
The Democrat asked members of the <a href="http://dailywire.com/topic/biden-administration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Biden administration</a> to appoint her as the next chair of the Federal Communications Commission, an agency responsible for regulating cable, radio, satellite, television, and other mechanisms for interstate or international communications, according to a <a href="https://twitter.com/NathanLeamerDC/status/1598309809912176644/photo/1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">report</a> from industry publication Communications Daily, which cited unnamed lobbyists familiar with the matter.
Michael Holloman, a spokesman for Abrams, nevertheless said in a <a href="https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/stacey-abrams-lobbying-president-biden-new-fcc-choice" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a> to Fox Business that Abrams has “not applied for or sought out a position” at the regulatory agency.
Abrams, the former minority leader in the Georgia House of Representatives, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/brian-kemp-defeats-stacey-abrams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lost</a> her gubernatorial rematch against Republican incumbent Brian Kemp by an eight-point margin earlier this month after narrowly succumbing to the nominee four years ago.
The White House has been attempting to nominate Gigi Sohn, who served as a counselor to former FCC Chair Tom Wheeler and a co-founder of nonprofit interest group Public Knowledge, to serve as the head of the agency, although she may not have a sufficient number of votes to be confirmed by the Senate before the next Congress assumes power in January. Didier Barjon, a legislative assistant for Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), is on the shortlist to be tapped by the Biden administration, according to Communications Daily.
If the outlet’s report is correct, the moonshot attempt for Abrams to gain a high-profile appointment from President Joe Biden would not have been her first. When the former vice president clinched the Democratic nomination for the White House in the spring of 2020, Abrams <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-now-actively-campaigning-for-vp-slot-as-her-own-hype-man" target="_blank" rel="noopener">promoted herself</a> as a possible running mate. “I have the capacity to attract voters by motivating typically ignored communities,” she asserted. “I have a strong history of executive and management experience in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors.”

The support for Abrams emerging from predominantly African-American denominations occurred even as mainstream media outlets harped about white Christian nationalism. Evangelical publications which singled out conservative-leaning ministers for purportedly mixing faith and politics by addressing abortion, transgenderism, and other matters related to public morality were comparatively silent as Abrams enjoyed explicit support from faith leaders.
Creflo Dollar of Christian World Changers Church International in College Park, Georgia, <a href="https://twitter.com/WokePreacherTV/status/1587077214314680320" target="_blank" rel="noopener">provoked applause</a> from his congregation when noting that Abrams was in attendance. “So you already know what to do, right?” the prosperity gospel preacher added. “Make it happen.”
Multiple chapel speakers at Howard University likewise encouraged students to back Abrams in her gubernatorial campaign. One <a href="https://twitter.com/WokePreacherTV/status/1589653707838615552" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claimed</a> that a “demon of disinformation” was causing black males to support Warnock and avoid backing Abrams, while another <a href="https://twitter.com/WokePreacherTV/status/1582409849597747200" target="_blank" rel="noopener">asserted</a> that Abrams “rebelled” against Jim Crow in the same way that John the Baptist “rebelled” against the Pharisees and Jesus Christ “rebelled” against death.
Churches are generally established as 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, which are “absolutely prohibited” from “directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign” in support of or opposition to any candidate running for “elective public office,” according to <a href="https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/charitable-organizations/the-restriction-of-political-campaign-intervention-by-section-501c3-tax-exempt-organizations#:~:text=Under%20the%20Internal%20Revenue%20Code,candidate%20for%20elective%20public%20office." target="_blank" rel="noopener">regulations</a> from the Internal Revenue Service. The law includes “public statements of position,” whether verbal or written, “made on behalf of the organization,” which “clearly violate the prohibition against political campaign activity.”
When Abrams herself took to the pulpit, she <a href="https://twitter.com/WokePreacherTV/status/1573367118288113664" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claimed</a> that she was “running for this office in the legacy of Deborah,” the only woman to serve as a judge over Israel. Though Abrams said that Deborah was “a warrior who believed that you fight for your people,” she failed to mention that Deborah admonished male military commander Barak to wage war against the Canaanite armies rather than entering into the battle herself.
In another instance, Abrams <a href="https://twitter.com/WokePreacherTV/status/1579844587832897540" target="_blank" rel="noopener">explained</a> her pro-abortion stance from the pulpit at another African Methodist Episcopal church. She said that women with ectopic pregnancies must “wait until they’re about to bleed out” before a doctor can assist them, even though Georgia abortion regulations explicitly include a carveout for ectopic pregnancies.
Abrams, speaking at Saint Mark United Methodist Church, where both of her parents once served as ministers, <a href="https://twitter.com/WokePreacherTV/status/1562819757656928256" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lauded</a> the congregation for its “affirmation” of the LGBTQ movement, calling the acceptance of homosexuality “the epitome of what my faith tells me to be.”

Republicans lost several high-profile races on Tuesday, including Senate candidates Don Bolduc of New Hampshire and Mehmet Oz of Pennsylvania. The Georgia race between incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock and Republican candidate Herschel Walker will head for a runoff in a replay of the 2020 election cycle.

Republican Georgia Governor Brian Kemp will defeat Democratic challenger Stacey Abrams in a rematch of the 2018 gubernatorial election, <a href="https://twitter.com/DecisionDeskHQ/status/1590169805541109760">according</a> to a projection by Decision Desk. 
Kemp, 59, dominated the polls all election cycle and even overcame opposition from former President Donald J. Trump, who endorsed former Senator David Perdue during the GOP primary. 
Abrams conceded the race to Kemp, which she refused to do after their 2018 matchup, later Tuesday night, <a href="https://www.wtvm.com/2022/11/09/democrat-stacey-abrams-concedes-gov-brian-kemp-nations-most-watched-governors-race/">according</a> to WTVM-9.
&#8220;Thank y&#8217;all so much. It looks like the reports of my political death were greatly exaggerated,&#8221; Kemp <a href="https://twitter.com/Emma_Hurt/status/1590203020763369473">said</a> during his victory speech.
&#8220;Looking at the results tonight, we made sure that Stacey Abrams will not be your governor or your next president, &#8221; he <a href="https://twitter.com/PatrickQuinnTV/status/1590204493563850752">continued</a>.
In recent weeks, Kemp shied away from criticism of Trump, choosing instead to express gratitude for the 45th president’s time in office. 
“I don’t know, you’d have to ask him that question. Look, I’m focusing on getting our vote out,” Kemp <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/01/politics/brian-kemp-trump-georgia-governor-race-cnntv/index.html">told</a> CNN in late October when asked why he thought that Trump was avoiding the Georgia general election. 
“I appreciate what President Trump did for the state of Georgia. His administration was incredible to work with,” he added, noting the help received during COVID. 
Like most other states, crime, inflation, and the economy were the top three issues for Georgian voters.
For her part, the 48-year-old Abrams opted to focus on abortion and cultural issues in the final weeks of her campaign, telling Georgia voters that Kemp&#8217;s victory would threaten women, health care, the LGBTQ community, and even ban certain children from playing with their friends. 
“If we don’t elect me, we will have no health care for half a million Georgians,” Abrams <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-tells-oprah-elect-me-or-transgender-kids-will-be-banned-from-playing-with-friends-parents-will-be-forced-to-lie-and-gay-people-wont-be-protected">told</a> Oprah Winfrey at an October event. “Our children will continue to go to underfunded schools where transgender children have been banned from playing with their friends,” she continued. 
The Democratic nominee also claimed that the government would force parents to teach false history to their children.
“We will have divisive laws that say that you have to lie to your children about their history,” she added.
Later, Abrams <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-takes-stage-at-lizzo-concert-with-my-body-my-choice-sign-after-latto-performs-py">appeared</a> on a stage with a rapper named Latto to promote abortion as apart of her closing arguments. 
Georgia voters were particularly animated in this election, despite Democratic warnings that a 2021 voter ID law signed by Kemp would disenfranchise millions of voters. Democrats warned that the legislation would usher in a new era of “Jim Crow 2.0.” President Joe Biden <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/water-and-jim-crow-debunking-the-most-egregious-georgia-voting-law-falsehoods">said</a> it would make that previous era of American history look like “Jim Eagle.”
However, despite those predictions <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2022-election/early-voting-breaks-records-georgia-bitter-senate-race-tests-red-blue-rcna55810">more than two million people voted</a> via early voting and absentee ballots, smashing previous records in the process. Election day voters were still being counted as of press time.
Gabriel Sterling, the chief operating officer in the Georgia Secretary of State&#8217;s office, said during a press conference before the results were final that the voting process during the election had been &#8220;spectacularly boring&#8221; and had experienced no serious issues. He also noted that the average wait time even on Election Day was 2 minutes. The longest wait times were up to 10 minutes in highly populated areas.
Chris, a father of two with a third on the way, in Cobb County told the Daily Wire he voted because he believes it is the &#8220;duty of every citizen, and this election is especially important for several reasons.&#8221;
&#8220;We must stop the controlled demolition of our country by unchecked Democrat policies,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;I voted red down the ballot with the exception of Raffensperger since I thought his response to the 2020 election issues was horrendous.&#8221;
The race was one of the most expensive contests of the cycle. Abrams and Kemp raised $165 million for the filing period ending October 25, the <a href="https://www.ajc.com/politics/kemp-abrams-haul-in-three-times-the-campaign-cash-they-did-in-2018/H5OXHGOJWZDETJL6NVKYRBXVQM/">Atlanta Journal-Constitution</a> reported.
As of the latest report, Kemp had raised just $69 million in total with roughly $10.3 million cash on hand. Abrams raised a total of $97 million dollars over the whole cycle; she currently has some $5.6 million cash unspent. For comparison sake, in 2018, the two candidates spent just $48 million combined.
