A radical professor is teaching a new seminar at Harvard University in which she touts two-time failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams as a “political mastermind.”
The class, titled “Race, Gender, and the Law Through the Archive,” and taught by assistant history professor Myisha Eatmon, investigates “the role that Black women and non-binary people have played in shaping politics, grassroots organizing, the legal bar, and higher education during Jim (Jane) Crow and beyond.”
Abrams served for 11 years as a Georgia state representative before losing to Republican Brian Kemp in 2018 and 2022. Though she has never held federal office, the Ivy League course places her alongside leading black female figures of 21st century politics.
“From First Lady Michelle Obama to political mastermind Stacy Abrams to Vice President Kamala Harris, Black women have left their stamp on 21st-century politics and grassroots organizing,” the seminar description reads, misspelling Abram’s first name.
The class is taught by Harvard assistant history professor Dr. Myisha Eatmon. Eatmon’s work focuses on “the intersection of race, power, and law, with expertise in how African Americans have employed their &#8220;legal imaginations&#8221; to challenge &#8220;systemic oppression.”
“How did these people navigate gender and sexuality while pushing for civil rights? How did gender, sexuality, and intersectionality impact their political ideologies?” The course asks students.
It promotes a subjective understanding of the law in line with Critical Race Theory, and claims that “students will see the subjectivity of the Black women and non-binary people who helped push for social and legal reform.”
Eatmon’s narrative of systemic oppression and intersectionality mirrors some of Abrams’s own statements.
After losing her first gubernatorial election by a narrow margin, Abrams claimed the election was stolen from her. She <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/09/29/stacey-abramss-rhetorical-twist-being-an-election-denier/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">walked back</a> on her statements when she ran again in 2022, saying that unlike Trump, she “never denied the election” and “never denied that I lost.”
She did say, however, that the election was “flawed.”
“I refuse to concede a system that permits citizens to be denied access,” she said. “That is very different than someone claiming fraudulent outcome.”
Adams filed and ultimately lost a lawsuit challenging Georgia’s election laws, funding the multimillion dollar legal battle through one of her voting rights nonprofits, as The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/another-stacy-abrams-nonprofit-could-be-in-trouble?author=Leif+Le+Mahieu&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=0&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Another+Stacy+Abrams+Nonprofit+Could+Be+In+Trouble" target="_blank" rel="noopener">previously reported</a>. In a separate lawsuit, another one of Adams’ nonprofits was penalized for providing millions of dollars to her campaign.
Abrams <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2020/01/31/stacey-abrams-president-2040-109869" target="_blank" rel="noopener">predicted</a> in 2020 that the United States would elect a black female president in the next 20 years, and suggested that it might be herself. She later tweeted that 2028 “would be the earliest I would be ready to stand for president.”
However, Democrats themselves don’t appear to view Abrams as a “mastermind,” with many <a href="https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/5297972-democrats-stacey-abrams-2026-midterms-georgia-governor-race/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">dismissing</a> the idea of an attempted third run for governor in 2026.
“There’s not a lot of energy…or a large appetite within the state of Georgia amongst Democrats for a third Abrams run,” said Georgia Democratic strategist Fred Hicks.

A voting rights group started by twice-failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams should be stripped of its tax-exempt status for “blatant disregard” of non-profit rules, a watchdog organization argued Tuesday. 
The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT) filed a <a href="https://65db7681-e755-4cff-abe7-1d9e373df4db.usrfiles.com/ugd/65db76_5ed5e2641c3e44a5b6d9fb9eac79d12b.pdf">complaint</a> with the IRS, saying that Fair Fight Action should be investigated for bankrolling an expensive election lawsuit it argues was only for Abrams’s personal benefit. The complaint comes just months after another one of Abrams’s election non-profit organizations was penalized for illegally spending millions to back her campaign. 
The lawsuit in question, Fair Fight Action v. Raffensperger, challenged Georgia officials over various election integrity measures in place during Abrams’ 2018 race against Republican Brian Kemp. After several years of litigation, Fair Fight Action lost its case when an Obama-appointed judge <a href="https://cases.justia.com/federal/district-courts/georgia/gandce/1:2018cv05391/257857/916/0.pdf?ts=1664630826">ruled</a> that Georgia’s election laws were constitutional and did not violate the Voting Rights Act. 
During the suit, Fair Fight Action was represented by a law firm operated by Allegra Lawrence-Hardy, one of Abrams’s <a href="https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2025/06/05/friends_with_benefits_stacey_abrams_funneled_millions_to_her_lawyer_1114621.html">close friends</a>.
“The law is clear that organizations with tax-exempt status must operate for the public good, not for the personal benefit of one individual,” FACT Executive Director Kendra Arnold told The Daily Wire. “Fair Fight Action’s activities, including funding what appears to be a failed politically motivated lawsuit that paid millions to a close personal friend, demonstrate a blatant disregard for these rules.”
Over the course of five years, Fair Fight Action paid the firm of Lawrence-Hardy over $20 million, according to <a href="https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/471427359">tax filings</a>. Fair Fight Action paid the firm $3,062,292 in 2019, $6,363,615 in 2020, $4,441,206 in 2021, $5,034,464 in 2022, and $1,300,280 in 2023.
Arnold argues that Fair Fight Action launched its lawsuit solely for Abrams’s benefit. 
“After she lost her first election for governor of Georgia in 2018, Fair Fight Action engaged in what appeared to be political activity and brought a lawsuit challenging Abrams’ election loss,” Arnold wrote in a letter to the IRS obtained by The Daily Wire. “The organization has served as an arm of Abrams’ political campaigns, notably funding a lawsuit directly challenging her first campaign loss and serving as a bridge between her two runs for governor.”
Once described by the New York Times as a “fundraising powerhouse for Democrats,” Fair Fight Action has struggled in recent years. In January 2024, it was <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/30/us/politics/fair-fight-layoffs-stacey-abrams.html">reported</a> that the group was cutting 75% of its staff and was millions of dollars in debt. 
“In essence, an organization interested in providing a ‘common good’ for the citizenry would not put its existence or efficacy at risk to benefit a single individual,” Arnold told The Daily Wire. 
In her letter, Arnold pointed to the New Georgia Project, another one of Abram’s linked voting organizations that has faced scrutiny. The organization, which Abrams founded in 2013, agreed to pay $300,000 after the State Ethics Commission <a href="https://www.politico.com/f/?id=00000194-6ae1-d7e4-af9d-eaf5fa010000">found</a> that the organization likely violated state campaign finance laws by failing to report over $7 million spent in support of Abrams. 
Arnold wants the IRS to impose a financial penalty and revoke Fair Fight Action’s tax-exempt status if merited by an investigation. 
“The facts above certainly indicate that the sole motivation of Fair Fight Action and its conduct has been to benefit a few individuals — not the community as a whole,” she wrote.

Failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams <a href="https://x.com/alexchristy17/status/1942601270579109948">claimed</a> President Donald Trump is one step away from turning the U.S. into an autocracy.
Abrams appeared on &#8220;Jimmy Kimmel Live,&#8221; where guest host Anthony Anderson asked her to explain the &#8220;10 steps to autocracy.&#8221;
Abrams said her 10 steps apply to &#8220;every nation that has become an autocracy having been a democracy,&#8221; specifically referencing Brazil India, Russia, and the Philippines.
&#8220;Start with winning an election,&#8221; Abrams said. &#8220;Usually the last one you&#8217;ll get to have for real.&#8221;
Abrams&#8217; next steps included expanding executive power and weakening Congress and the judiciary.
&#8220;Like, I don&#8217;t know, the Supreme Court is giving you unfettered power and saying we don&#8217;t have the ability to stop things,&#8221; Abrams said, presumably referencing the recent Supreme Court ruling <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/supreme-court-sides-with-trump-limits-nationwide-injunctions-in-birthright-citizenship-fight">limiting</a> nationwide injunctions.
Abrams skipped right over former President Joe Biden, who notably <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-ignores-supreme-court-cancels-another-74000-student-loans">ignored</a> the Supreme Court&#8217;s ruling striking down his student loan forgiveness plan.
Abrams said autocracies then &#8220;gut the civil service&#8221; to &#8220;break democracy&#8221; and put loyalists in the FBI &#8220;so they go after your enemies.&#8221;
She failed to mention that under former President Joe Biden — who shares her political affiliation — Trump was <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/us/trump-investigations-charges-indictments.html">charged</a> in four criminal cases that were widely viewed as political prosecutions..
Abrams said that Trump &#8220;[going] after DEI&#8221; was evidence that he was looking for someone to blame, which she said was another hallmark of autocracies.
She then suggested Trump&#8217;s mobilization of the National Guard and the U.S. Marines in Los Angeles was one step away from a full autocracy.
&#8220;You send the U.S. Marines into spaces where they should not be, you send the National Guard in, you kidnap people off of the streets and pretend that&#8217;s normal,&#8221; Abrams said.
Trump sent the Marines and the National Guard into Los Angeles to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-vows-to-liberate-los-angeles-shut-down-migrant-riots-and-insurrectionist-mobs">protect</a> federal agents and buildings from anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement rioters. Monday, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/los-angeles-mayor-protestors-swarm-ice-officers-raiding-ms-13-controlled-park">joined</a> protestors attempting to disrupt the ICE raid of a park controlled by MS-13.
&#8220;Once you&#8217;ve done those nine steps, step 10 is easy,&#8221; Abrams said. &#8220;That&#8217;s when you decide there won&#8217;t be new elections because everyone&#8217;s either afraid, poor, broken, or complicit.&#8221;

Recently, nonprofits affiliated with Abrams have come under scrutiny, with IRS complaints alleging the organizations campaigned on behalf of Abrams and other candidates in violation of federal law, The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/exclusive-ethics-watchdog-files-irs-complaint-against-stacey-abrams-nonprofits">reported</a>.

A nonprofit linked to failed Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams received $2 billion from the Biden administration in 2024, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) found.
Power Forward Communities (PFC), the nonprofit, was established in October 2023 and received the $2 billion grant in April 2024, just six months after it began operating, The Washington Free Beacon <a href="https://freebeacon.com/trump-administration/billions-doge-found-parked-at-bank-earmarked-for-stacey-abrams-backed-green-group/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. During its first three months of operation, it reported just $100 in revenue, tax filings <a href="https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/932705500/202432199349200308/IRS990EZ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">revealed</a>.
PFC had never managed any amount of money near $2 billion, yet it was one of eight organizations that received grants from the Environmental Protection Agency’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. Those eight groups received $20 billion, which the Biden administration had stashed at an outside financial institution to ensure the government couldn’t oversee the funds’ allocation.
The $20 billion slush fund <a href="https://www.epa.gov/newsreleases/administrator-zeldin-announces-billions-dollars-worth-gold-bars-have-been-located" target="_blank" rel="noopener">was discovered</a> by EPA administrator Lee Zeldin’s staff and DOGE earlier this month.
“Roughly twenty billion of your tax dollars were parked at an outside financial institution by the Biden EPA,” Zeldin announced. “This scheme was the first of its kind in EPA history and it was purposefully designed to obligate all of the money in a rush job with reduced oversight.”

As the Free Beacon noted, PFC’s inclusion as a recipient of the money “raises ethics questions about how the Biden administration selected recipients of such massive grants and whether it played favorites when doling those grants out.”
Abrams was a staunch supporter of Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris.
The Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund was created as a “green bank” under the Biden administration’s Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which, despite its name, didn’t reduce inflation and instead doled out funds to favored left-wing organizations in the name of climate change.
Abrams <a href="https://x.com/staceyabrams/status/1713665823976358080">serves</a> as senior counsel for the left-wing organization Rewiring America, which leads a coalition of groups, including PFC.
&#8220;For an organization that has no experience in this, that was literally just established, and had $100 in the bank to receive a $2 billion grant—it doesn&#8217;t just fly in the face of common sense, it&#8217;s out and out fraud,&#8221; Daniel Turner, executive director of energy advocacy group Power the Future, told the Free Beacon.
It is not the first time a group tied to Abrams has been embroiled in controversy. Earlier this month, an ethics watchdog filed an IRS complaint against nonprofits Abrams founded, The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/exclusive-ethics-watchdog-files-irs-complaint-against-stacey-abrams-nonprofits" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. Her groups, the New Georgia Project and its lobbying arm, the New Georgia Project Action Fund, were found to have violated state campaign finance laws and ordered to pay $300,000 in fines after failing to disclose more than $4 million in campaign contributions and another $3 million in expenditures during the 2018 election cycle.

A prominent ethics watchdog has filed an IRS complaint against two organizations affiliated with failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, The Daily Wire has learned.
The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT), a nonprofit that promotes ethics and transparency in government, filed the complaint against the New Georgia Project (NGP) and its lobbying arm, the New Georgia Project Action Fund (NGPAF). Abrams founded NGP, which was meant to register new voters, in 2013, when she was still in the Georgia House of Representatives.
Abrams left the organization in 2017, leaving it to Raphael Warnock, who left when he was elected to the United States Senate.
Because of its 501(c)(3) status, NGP is “absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office,” <a href="https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/charitable-organizations/restriction-of-political-campaign-intervention-by-section-501c3-tax-exempt-organizations#:~:text=Under%2520the%2520Internal%2520Revenue%2520Code,candidate%2520for%2520elective%2520public%2520office" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to the IRS</a>. The NGPAF, as a 501(c)(4), must not engage in political activity as its primary activity and must be “operated exclusively for the promotion of social welfare,” which it can do by “promoting in some way the common good and general welfare of the people of the community,” according to IRS statute.
&#8220;Federal law is very clear and strict in that when an organization receives the benefits of nonprofit status, those running it are absolutely prohibited from using it as a political campaign organization,&#8221; said FACT Executive Director Kendra Arnold. &#8220;This is a straightforward case because the nonprofits admitted to raising and spending millions of dollars for campaigns.&#8221;
FACT wrote in its complaint letter to the outgoing IRS commissioner that a recent case before the Georgia State Ethics Commission established that NGP and its lobbying arm engaged in campaign activity on behalf of Abrams during her failed 2018 gubernatorial bid, as well as other candidates.
“[A]dvocating for Representative Stacey Abrams’ election for Governor of the State of Georgia during the primary and general election, also with Sarah Riggs-Amico, John Barrow, and Charlie Bailey and other state wide candidates for public office during the general election,” case documents say, according to FACT. “These expenditures included, but were not limited to canvassing activities, literature expressly advocating for the election of candidates, social media engagement, and operating field offices with paid staff where those electioneering activities were organized.”
The Georgia State Ethics Commission found that NGP and NGPAF violated multiple state laws, and the organizations admitted to these violations. The committee found that the organizations failed to disclose more than $4 million in campaign contributions and another $3 million in expenditures during the 2018 election cycle.
The organizations agreed to pay a $300,000 fine for those violations, NBC News <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/nonprofit-founded-stacey-abrams-pay-record-georgia-fine-violating-stat-rcna187885" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> in mid-January.
Following the fine, dozens of people have been laid off from the organizations, Fox News <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/stacey-abrams-founded-voter-activist-group-hit-mass-layoffs-after-record-breaking-ethics-fine" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
Now, FACT wants an IRS investigation into the organizations.
“The illegal nature of this extensive activity also demonstrates that New Georgia Project Action Fund’s primary purpose was political activity,” the organization wrote in its complaint. “As established in the State Ethics case, the groups are not acting in accordance with federal law and we respectfully request the IRS investigate this matter fully and, if appropriate, revoke the organizations’ status as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) and (4) organizations and impose financial penalties.”
NGP did not immediately respond to a Daily Wire inquiry.

The Georgia Democrat, who has denied the results of the elections that she lost when she twice ran to become the state&#8217;s governor and lost both times to Republican Governor Brian Kemp, was asked about remarks from a Georgia pastor who recently said that &#8220;misogyny&#8221; was &#8220;still real&#8221; in the black community and was the reason that Abrams lost.
&#8220;I know it&#8217;s a shock to everyone, but sexism remains real and a very pertinent issue,&#8221; Abrams claimed.
Abrams claimed that Harris was doing &#8220;very well with black men&#8221; even though polling has found that Harris is not doing as well with black voters as past Democrat presidential candidates, and former President Donald Trump has the highest support from that community of any Republican presidential candidate since 1960.
&#8220;However, we do have to acknowledge that there is sexism. There is racism,&#8221; she later added. &#8220;There are challenges in our electorate and that&#8217;s why it&#8217;s so important that Kamala Harris is going everywhere and talking to everyone. She respects voters. She meets them where they are and she refuses to be told that she has lost a cohort, lost a community simply because she&#8217;s different.&#8221;

Obama then disparaged voters who might vote for Trump or sit out the election.
“You’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses, I’ve got a problem with that,” Obama said. “Because part of it makes me think – and I’m speaking to men directly – part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”
Obama added that the “women in our lives have been getting our backs this entire time.”
“When we get in trouble and the system isn’t working for us, they’re the ones out there marching and protesting,” he added.

Two-time failed Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/stacey-abrams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stacey Abrams</a> lashed out at CNN this week, falsely claiming that the network was spreading &#8220;disinformation&#8221; about remarks that she did, in fact, make after losing her first gubernatorial campaign in 2018.
Abrams got into a spat with CNN host Kaitlan Collins on Tuesday night after Collins brought up how Abrams denied the results of the 2018 election and insisted that she had won and that the election was stolen.
&#8220;I do remember the time you told The New York Times, I won,&#8221; Collins noted. &#8220;You did describe it as a stolen election. The courts did side with the Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, in some of the challenges as well.&#8221;
Abrams fired back: &#8220;Kaitlan, that&#8217;s actually incorrect. And normally, I wouldn&#8217;t cut you off. But you&#8217;re repeating disinformation.&#8221;
Abrams said that she has &#8220;never claimed to be the Governor of Georgia,&#8221; which is not something that Collins ever accused her of saying.
After losing her election, Abrams refused to concede and claimed dozens of times that &#8220;it was a stolen election.&#8221;

Stacey Abrams Claims CNN Spread ‘Disinformation’ For Highlighting Her False Stolen Election Claims

Twice-failed Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/stacey-abrams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stacey Abrams</a> claimed during a recent interview that discriminatory &#8220;diversity, equity, and inclusion&#8221; policies were a crucial part of democracy, education, and the economy.
Abrams, who denied the results of her first gubernatorial race, made the remarks late last week during an MSNBC interview with Al Sharpton.
&#8220;We should be terrified of the person who wants to come back into the White House, strip us of our rights, rescind the economic progress we have made, and undermine the democracy that we hold to be so dear,&#8221; she said. &#8220;We have to remember that built into every victory are the seeds of defeat and built into every defeat are the seeds of victory. We have seen victory, but we cannot rest on that victory and think that it is impermeable and impervious to harm.&#8221;
&#8220;What we know is that the attack on diversity, equity, and inclusion, DEI, is an attack on democracy, it is an attack on education, it is an attack on how our economy works because what Senator Ossoff and Senator Warnock represent are pathways to the American dream, they are proof points and those proof points scare those who want this world to be more narrow and restrictive,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;And so we have to recognize that our opportunity to hold to those successes requires our constant attention and constant attending. You know, voting is not magic, voting is medicine, but it also means that it is a constant engagement and we cannot have a moment of success, we have to keep working constantly at moving ourselves forward.&#8221;

Twice-failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/stacey-abrams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stacey Abrams</a> has resurfaced with a new book and an apparent appetite to turn a couple of southern states blue.
Abrams, last seen <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-now-throwing-her-weight-around-with-group-advocating-gas-stove-regulations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">throwing her weight</a> around with a group advocating that Americans ditch their gas stoves, released a new fiction book on Tuesday titled, &#8220;Rogue Justice.&#8221; Here&#8217;s an interview she did with CNN&#8217;s Jake Tapper on Tuesday about that novel. As described by Media Research Center&#8217;s Curtis Houck, the media appearance is &#8220;what one could call the interview equivalent of a back or foot massage at a five-star hotel and spa.&#8221;

Giving Abrams a back or a foot massage sounds like hell in a handbasket. But, if you happen to own a five-star hotel in Kentucky or Mississippi, you might have to give Abrams one anyway. It looks like she might soon spend some time in the Magnolia and the Blue Grass States.
On MSNBC, anchor Eugene Robinson asked her, &#8220;Which southern state do you think is ripest for the transformation you helped accomplish in Georgia?&#8221;
&#8220;I think that we have an exciting set of elections coming up in Mississippi with Brandon Presley running against a very weakened Tate Reaves,&#8221; Abrams said. “I think that Andy Beshear is going to put on a very credible race against Daniel Cameron. He has been a strong governor, and that is a real opportunity.&#8221;

For context, after the 2018 election, the Georgia Democrat refused to concede on election night only to spend the next four years bemoaning that Governor Brian Kemp (R) had effectively stolen the election from her. Then, after he signed election reform laws that included items such as voter ID, she alleged he was suppressing the black vote even further.
After primary and general election turnout saw record early numbers with little wait times and near zero reports of voting difficulty, she alleged that the overall smooth process was not necessarily evidence that suppression did not exist. Other Democrats <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/democrats-georgias-record-voter-turnout-is-actually-voter-suppression" target="_blank" rel="noopener">concurred</a> with that assessment.
In the waning days of her campaign, she spent her time appearing at concerts pushing abortion and claimed that Republicans wanted to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-tells-oprah-elect-me-or-transgender-kids-will-be-banned-from-playing-with-friends-parents-will-be-forced-to-lie-and-gay-people-wont-be-protected" target="_blank" rel="noopener">outlaw certain friends from playing with each other</a> and would force parents to lie.
In 2022, Abrams was trounced by Kemp, who won with <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2022/11/08/us/elections/results-georgia-governor.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">53.4% of the vote</a>.
Abrams also has experience abroad acting as a part of a 40-member crew <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-pops-up-in-nigeria-as-an-election-observer-losing-side-promptly-alleges-rigged-results" target="_blank" rel="noopener">observing</a> polls in Nigeria’s elections.

Stacey Abrams Resurfaces With New Fiction Book, Hungry To Turn Southern States Blue

A group of world elites, including individuals connected to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/pfizer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pfizer</a>, the U.S. intelligence community, and the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/world-economic-forum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">World Economic Forum</a>, are in Portugal this weekend for a meeting to discuss a variety of topics, including <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/artificial-intelligence" target="_blank" rel="noopener">artificial intelligence</a>, Ukraine, and China. 
The high-profile attendees of the annual Bilderberg meeting, which include Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla and World Economic Forum President Børge Brende <a href="https://bilderbergmeetings.org/press/press-release/participants" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to a participant list, will discuss a variety of topics including artificial intelligence, banking, China, energy transition, Europe, industrial policy, NATO, Russia, transnational threats, Ukraine, and the United States&#8217; role in the world. 
The meeting, which is <a href="https://bilderbergmeetings.org/press/press-release/press-release" target="_blank" rel="noopener">taking place</a> from May 18-21 in Lisbon, will feature about 130 participants in fields like finance, government, and tech from 23 different countries. Due to the nature of the meetings, little is known about the specifics of what the leaders will discuss. 
“The Bilderberg Meeting is a forum for informal discussions about major issues. The meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule, which states that participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) nor any other participant may be revealed,” the meeting’s website says. 
According to event organizers, the Bilderberg meetings were begun in 1954 to create dialogue between European and North American elites. 
“Thanks to the private nature of the Meeting, the participants take part as individuals rather than in any official capacity, and hence are not bound by the conventions of their office or by pre-agreed positions. As such, they can take time to listen, reflect and gather insights. There is no detailed agenda, no resolutions are proposed, no votes are taken and no policy statements are issued,” the Bilderberg website says. 
Several American political and military figures are listed as attendees, including two-time failed Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/stacey-abrams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stacey Abrams</a>, U.S. general and current Supreme Allied Commander Europe Christopher Cavoli, statesman Henry Kissinger, former Obama administration National Security Council director Tarun Chhabra, and former Trump administration National Security Council member Matthew Pottinger. 
Individuals linked to the Biden administration were also listed as participants, including former National Economic Council director Brian Deese, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Director Jen Easterly, Commerce Department China advisor Elizabeth Economy, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, and National Security Council member Tom Wright.

Media and cultural figures were also scheduled to be in attendance, including liberal Atlantic journalist Annie Applebaum, historian and Stanford fellow Niall Ferguson, Museum of Modern Art chair Marie-Josée Kravis, Bloomberg News editor-in-chief John Micklethwait, and The Economist editor-in-chief Zanny Minton Beddoes. 
Republican donors and businessmen Ken Griffin and Peter Thiel were also listed as participating, in addition to Microsoft CEO Satya ​​Nadella, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Goldman Sachs COO John Waldron, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams is back from her world tour, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-pops-up-in-nigeria-as-an-election-observer-losing-side-promptly-alleges-rigged-results" target="_blank" rel="noopener">apparently having successfully served</a> as an election observer in Nigeria. The &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-election-denier-denier" target="_blank" rel="noopener">election denier denier</a>&#8221; is now throwing her weight around with an environmental group reportedly connected to some of the recent calls for gas stove bans and regulations.
Earlier this week, Fox News <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/stacey-abrams-getsnew-job-after-election-loss-joins-environmental-group-trying-eliminate-gas-stoves" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that Abrams will serve as senior counsel for Rewiring America. In that role, she will help &#8220;launch and scale a national awareness campaign and a network of large and small communities working to help Americans go electric.&#8221;
It would appear that Abrams will help lead the push for the electrification of America.
&#8220;She will also guide the organization as it builds the tools and capacity to connect Americans and their communities to machines, installers, Inflation Reduction Act incentives, and jobs in the clean energy transition,&#8221; the group said.
The group may claim that the effort is being done out of love of Mother Nature, but a cynic — and some might say a realist — would allege that it is one giant cash grab.
Consider that as part of the Inflation Reduction Act, the Biden administration is spending more than $300 billion on green energy initiatives. That&#8217;s a whole lot of moolah up for grabs if you can get in on it early. That money is being steered by <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/aoc-wants-credit-for-bidens-green-energy-agenda-let-her-have-it" target="_blank" rel="noopener">uber creep</a> and Democrat staple John Podesta.
Fox News has also previously <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/dark-money-group-pushing-gas-stove-crackdown-significant-financial-stake-green-energy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that the founders of Rewiring America — Alex Laskey, Saul Griffith, and Ari Matusiak — have made significant money off government funding in the green energy sphere while advocating for policies that benefit their bottom dollar via the non-profit group.
&#8220;It&#8217;s a shocking amount of money that they&#8217;re hauling in with this scheme of theirs,&#8221; Tom Pyle, the president of the Institute for Energy Research, told Fox News. &#8220;I call it Big Green Inc. It is literally a business for these guys and they cloak themselves in the mantra of trying to save the planet. But, really, this is just very sophisticated self-dealing.&#8221;

Nevertheless, Abrams insists that her involvement is purely one of passion.
&#8220;What keeps me awake at night is that the communities who need the help the most and who could benefit the most from this economic opportunity get left out,&#8221; she <a href="https://twitter.com/rewiringamerica/status/1636456613618786319?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in a media interview. &#8220;That’s why I am here.&#8221;

The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/georgia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Georgia</a> secretary of state’s office is investigating failed gubernatorial candidate <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/stacey-abrams" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stacey Abrams</a>’ New Georgia Project for “financial irregularities.”
The probe into Abrams’ voting-rights charity comes after reports by The Washington Free Beacon outlined financial mismanagement by several of the charity’s former top executives, according to the <a href="https://freebeacon.com/democrats/georgia-secretary-of-state-investigating-financial-irregularities-at-stacey-abrams-charity-following-free-beacon-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Free Beacon</a>. Subpoenas in the state investigation are expected to be sent soon.
In December, the New Georgia Project was <a href="https://freebeacon.com/democrats/stacey-abramss-nonprofit-flouts-state-charity-laws-across-country/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">found</a> to be soliciting donations in at least nine states without a license. Some state laws require charities to file financial disclosures with the IRS before raising money within a state’s borders.
Last month, the New Georgia Project was <a href="https://freebeacon.com/democrats/stacey-abrams-charity-has-a-500000-problem-in-its-latest-tax-filing/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">found</a> to be missing roughly $600,000 in unaccounted for spending. The group’s 2021 financial records showed payments of $533,846 for consulting and $67,500 in grant money to the Black Male Initiative. The Black Male Initiative never reported receiving the payments, however.
The 2021 filings were handed to the IRS two months after they were due and three months after the ouster of former New Georgia Project CEO Nse Ufot. Ufot is a Nigeria-born community organizer who was living in Canada in 2014 when Abrams recruited her to run the New Georgia Project. Ufot left the group in October.
New Georgia Project’s 2020 financial filings showed $0 paid in payroll taxes despite employing 173 workers, an anomaly and red flag, according to nonprofit experts interviewed by the Free Beacon. The financial forms included other oddities, as well.
Abrams is a prominent voting rights activist and twice-failed candidate for governor of Georgia. In 2022, Abrams lost her latest bid to become Georgia’s top executive by over 7 points to Republican Governor Brian Kemp.
Since her election defeat, Abrams has returned to activism. This week, she <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stacey-abrams-pops-up-in-nigeria-as-an-election-observer-losing-side-promptly-alleges-rigged-results" target="_blank" rel="noopener">appeared</a> in Nigeria to monitor its elections, traveling with a group from the International Republican Institute and the National Democratic Institute.

“I would say that despite a slow start with the [violence]” said Abrams, updating a reporter on the state of the election. “we have seen orderly lines, we have seen long lines, signaling strong enthusiasm. But we’ve also seen a great deal of cooperation and a very peaceful conversation among voters. They want to be heard, and they are willing to stand in line and have patience, because they know that’s their path to progress.”
