WNBA Fever guard Sophie Cunningham said it&#8217;s likely that elite 8th grade male basketball players could beat professional female athletes, noting men&#8217;s obvious physical advantages over women.
Cunningham&#8217;s comments, which were made on her podcast &#8220;Show Me Something,&#8221; completely contradict the Left-wing transgender narrative claiming that what determines gender is self-described identity; or, further, that males don&#8217;t really have physical advantages over females.
&#8220;This is my personal opinion,&#8221; Cunningham told her co-host West Wilson, Outkick <a href="https://www.outkick.com/sports/sophie-cunningham-backs-michael-porter-jr-8th-grade-boys-wnba-stars">reported</a>. &#8220;If you are a professional football player, basketball player, really any sport &#8230; to me, if you&#8217;re in that elite level group, yeah, you should be able to beat the girls. I&#8217;m not surprised by that.&#8221;
&#8220;It&#8217;s probably true. I don&#8217;t want to be unrealistic or delusional,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;Men are just stronger, bigger, athletic. They just are a different build. So if you put them up against females, I&#8217;m like, well, yeah they&#8217;re gonna win, duh.&#8221;
Cunningham, who is set to become a free agent, made the remarks in response to NBA player Michael Lamar Porter Jr., who recently said he thinks elite male athletes as young as 8th grade could beat WNBA players. Porter said he was merely speaking from experience, referencing a time in middle school when he apparently dominated in a practice against Cunningham, then playing college ball.

&#8220;I&#8217;ma go, probably, 8th grade, because I have real experience doing this,&#8221; Porter said, when asked what age elite males could beat pro females. &#8220;They went to University of Missouri, and I was still a young dude, and they had me playing on the scout team, and they had a few WNBA players on their team, like Sophie Cunningham, and a couple others. I think I was in the 7th or 8th grade going dumb. So, I have real-life experience.&#8221;
&#8220;I wish this would stop being a conversation ‘cause it should be common sense, but it’s just not,&#8221; Porter added.
&#8220;If women are saying, ‘He couldn&#8217;t beat them&#8217; &#8212; yeah, he could,&#8221; Cunningham agreed. &#8220;Any NBA star or player could beat a female in high school &#8230; I just don&#8217;t think that&#8217;s a fair matchup.&#8221;
The Fever guard further defended Porter, saying that he was asked his opinion and answered honestly and calling the &#8220;context&#8221; of his comments &#8220;fair.&#8221;

President Donald Trump called into ESPN&#8217;s The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday for a special Veterans Day program, and of course, the libs are mad.
Hundreds of negative and hateful comments toward President Trump flooded McAfee&#8217;s social media platforms.
&#8220;There are people certainly that are not happy that that happened,&#8221; McAfee said to open Wednesday&#8217;s show. &#8220;If you&#8217;re against what happened yesterday, I&#8217;d like to say you hate the troops. You should go ahead and swallow that, and you can take that to where you want to go.&#8221;
McAfee said he would welcome any president to be a guest on his Veterans Day show. The show came together in a matter of days after it was given the green light to broadcast from the military base in front of dozens of Marines.

&#8220;We were celebrating the hell out of Veterans Day,&#8221; the ESPN host added.
The patriotic show received an outpouring of positive feedback from fans who considered it one of McAfee&#8217;s best shows ever. The hours-long show featured videos honoring veterans from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred, and UFC President Dana White.
McAfee is not one to let negative comments get in his way. The ESPN host quickly addressed the haters live on Tuesday after Trump hung up the phone.
&#8220;For the immediate people who are mad, it&#8217;s the President of the United States. It&#8217;s Veterans Day. He&#8217;s the Commander-in-Chief. Obviously, if we have the opportunity to talk to him, we&#8217;re going to. And he&#8217;s hilarious.&#8221;
Trump called into the show while it was broadcasting live from Parris Island, the site of Marine Corps recruit training, and discussed various sports topics while also paying tribute to veterans.
&#8220;To me, it means taking care of the veterans because they&#8217;ve taken care of us,&#8221; Trump said.
To McAfee&#8217;s point about Trump being hilarious, the president made the show hosts laugh throughout the interview, especially when talking about the new NFL kickoff rule, referring to it as &#8220;unromantic.&#8221;
&#8220;I hate the kickoff, I think it&#8217;s so terrible. I think it&#8217;s so demeaning. The pageantry of the game is so badly hurt,&#8221; Trump said.
&#8220;Come on, Mr. President,&#8221; McAfee joked back.
While talking about the NFL, Trump first called Washington&#8217;s team by their relatively new name, the Washington Commanders, before briefly referring to the team by their former name, the Redskins.
Washington retired the Redskins name in 2020, during Trump&#8217;s first term, and officially changed its name to Commanders in 2022.
&#8220;What happened to the Redskins, by the way?&#8221; Trump asked with a hint of sarcasm. McAfee and his friends couldn&#8217;t help but snicker at that comment.
Libs, of course, were triggered by the playful banter between McAfee and Trump.
&#8220;You guys have Cheeto dust around your hands and lips. Wipe it off and get back &#8230; to football,&#8221; one viewer commented.
Another <a href="https://x.com/fredteamg/status/1988369489772376290?s=20">wrote</a> on X, &#8220;McAfee should be fired immediately!&#8221;
McAfee showed no regret with his decision, calling Trump a legit sports fan.
&#8220;Listening to him talk about sports is cool,&#8221; the host said.
And if you talk to those close to Trump, they will tell you he always wants to talk ball.
Trump became the first sitting president to go to an NFL regular-season game since President Jimmy Carter in 1978.
During the Lions vs Commanders game on Sunday, Trump swore in new military enlistees during the &#8220;Salute to Service&#8221; halftime ceremony. He also spent eight minutes in the broadcast booth with Fox&#8217;s Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma. The trio discussed Trump&#8217;s high school football career at New York Military Academy. The President said he was a tight end.
&#8220;But it was not quite football like this,&#8221; Trump said. &#8220;It was a little bit easier. It wasn&#8217;t so tough.&#8221;
McAfee broke the news that Trump would attend Sunday&#8217;s game live on Friday&#8217;s show.
McAfee said on Tuesday&#8217;s show that after Trump&#8217;s interview, he had reached out to former President Barack Obama and his team to be a guest on the show as well. Obama could not, due to scheduling conflicts.

Charlotte Jones, daughter of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and current executive vice president and chief brand officer for the team, just weighed in on the Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime show controversy.
The Cowboys exec praised the decision to showcase the Puerto Rican artist, saying, “Our whole society is based on immigrants.”
However, Bad Bunny is not an immigrant. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, a U.S territory, he is a U.S. citizen by birth.
“I think it’s awesome, and I think our Latina fan base is amazing. And I think when you think about the Super Bowl, you want the No. 1 performer in the world to be there,” Jones said during an appearance on “The Katie Miller Podcast.”
She added, “We’re on a global stage and we can’t ever forget that. Our game goes out to everybody around the world, and to get the premier entertainer to want to be a part of our game, I think, is amazing… We have a mixed culture. Our whole society is based on immigrants that came here and founded our country. I think we can celebrate that. I think the show’s going to be amazing.”

The artist’s selection, made in conjunction with Jay-Z’s company Roc Nation, was controversial because of his past anti-ICE statements, including his refusal to schedule any tour stops in the United States due to alleged fears that his fans might be taken into ICE custody at his shows. Miller pressed, asking whether Jones thought it was a political statement, given Bad Bunny’s negative comments about ICE agents.
“I don’t think our game’s about politics,” Jones insisted. “I don’t think people tune in to look at politics. We do everything we can to avoid politics. And I think in that moment, people will be watching the game, they’ll be celebrating music, and nobody will be thinking about what comments on the left side, what comments on the right side. That this is about bringing people together.”
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed last month that there are no plans to replace Bad Bunny as the halftime performer despite the mounting backlash.
“It’s carefully thought through,” Goodell said of the performance, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nfl-commish-gives-update-on-bad-bunny-super-bowl-halftime-show-amid-backlash">reported</a>. “I’m not sure we’ve ever selected an artist where we didn’t have some blowback or criticism. It’s pretty hard to do when you have literally hundreds of millions of people that are watching.”
“We’re confident it’s going to be a great show,” the commissioner added. “He’s one of the leading and most popular entertainers in the world. That’s what we try to achieve. It’s an important stage for us. It’s an important element to the entertainment value.”
Bad Bunny has called ICE agents “motherf***ers” and “sons of bitches.” He also angered many NFL fans after addressing the backlash that none of his songs were in English, advising them to learn Spanish if they didn’t like it.

Democrats have been quick to declare transgenderism a losing electoral issue in the wake of their recent victories at the ballot box, and the media is buying in.
&#8220;Republicans went all in on anti-trans messaging for the 2025 election,&#8221; declared an article by <a href="https://www.notus.org/2025-election/anti-transgender-attacks-republicans-virginia-new-jersey" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NOTUS</a>. &#8220;It didn’t work.&#8221;
The belief is that Democrats won in 2025 elections in Virginia and New Jersey, despite an onslaught of messaging from Republicans on their radical positions on transgenderism. But Republicans are almost certainly not going to let the issue die, and the issue that proved so successful for them in 2024 will be put to the test in the 2026 midterm elections. The issue is already heating up in Nevada, and could impact the state&#8217;s governor&#8217;s race.
&#8220;I&#8217;m going to do another ballot initiative this coming cycle on men in women&#8217;s sports,&#8221; Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo (R) said at a campaign event in September, according to the<a href="https://pvtimes.com/news/lombardo-speaks-in-tonopah-and-goldfield-during-reelection-campaign-153918/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Pahrump Valley Times</a>. &#8220;I&#8217;m going to raise the money to put a fight on that and change the constitution on how we address that particular issue.&#8221;
The topic has been hot in the state since members of the University of Nevada, Reno, women’s volleyball team declined to play against San Jose State University in 2024 because of a transgender athlete on the team, with members of the Reno team taking a different stance from the university on the matter at the time.
“The student athletes at the University of Nevada, Reno have determined that they do not want to play against San Jose State, and I wholeheartedly respect the decision of the players,” Lombardo posted to X at the time.
“No student athlete should ever be pressured to play a game where they don’t feel safe — period,” he added.
It could become a major campaign issue, as Lombardo and Attorney General Aaron Ford, who’s seeking the Democratic nomination for governor, have previously expressed sharply different views on transgender issues.
In 2022, Ford signed onto an amicus brief against an Arkansas law against “gender-affirming treatment” for minors.
“We must protect our children from discriminatory laws that bar access to necessary, gender-affirming health care,” Ford said in a January 2022<a href="https://ag.nv.gov/News/PR/2022/Attorney_General_Ford_Joins_Coalition_Urging_Court_to_Protect_Access_to_Healthcare_for_Transgender_Teenagers/?csrt=12551046735556127769&amp;utm_source=chatgpt.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> statement</a>. Over and over again, evidence has shown that denying transgender youth access to gender-affirming care has a detrimental effect to their mental health and quality of life.”
He also had the state of Nevada on an amicus brief in the<a href="https://oag.ca.gov/system/files/attachments/press-docs/Brief%20of%20Amici%20States%20in%20Supp%20of%20Appellees.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals</a> backing two minors, 11 and 15, who identified as transgender in a case on whether they could participate on a girls’ sports team in Arizona.
“Plaintiffs simply want to participate on their school’s girl’s sports teams with their friends,” the brief stated.
“They have not experienced any of the physiological changes associated with male puberty and have no ascertainable competitive advantage over their cisgender peers,” it continued, saying that the plaintiffs identified as “girls in all aspects of their lives since an early age.”
In another case, he disagreed with the Trump administration’s policy about only listing two sexes on passports, according to the<a href="https://lasvegassun.com/news/2025/mar/18/nevada-ag-among-12-to-weigh-in-on-transgender-pass/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Las Vegas Sun</a>.

The Daily Wire reached out to the Ford campaign for comment. The race in the swing state is expected to be one of the most competitive gubernatorial races in the country next year.
Nor is Nevada the only state where transgender issues will be at the ballot box. Maine voters could soon consider a similar ban, along with restrictions on locker rooms, according to <a href="https://wgme.com/news/local/signature-push-aims-to-ban-trans-athletes-from-girls-sports-in-maine-ballot-initiative" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WGME News</a>. Maine is expected to be highly competitive in the Senate race with incumbent Republican Sen. Susan Collins, who could face off against Democratic Gov. Janet Mills are Graham Platner in the general election. Mills made national headlines earlier for her opposition to the Trump administration&#8217;s policies on the issue.
“I’ll comply with state and federal law,” Mills said in a famous exchange with the president in February, with both saying they would take the issue to court, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/maine-to-schools-were-sticking-with-trans-sports-policy-trump-admin-takes-action" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Daily Wire</a> reported.
“We are the federal law,” Trump said. “You better do it. Because you’re not going to get any federal funding at all if you don’t. And by the way, your population, even though it is somewhat liberal — although I did very well there — your population doesn’t want men playing in women’s sports. You better comply because otherwise you’re not getting any federal funding.”
On the federal level, President Donald Trump issued an Executive Order earlier this year to reign in funding for schools that allowed transgender-identifying athletes to participate in women&#8217;s sports.
&#8220;Therefore, it is the policy of the United States to rescind all funds from educational programs that deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities, which results in the endangerment, humiliation, and silencing of women and girls and deprives them of privacy. It shall also be the policy of the United States to oppose male competitive participation in women&#8217;s sports more broadly, as a matter of safety, fairness, dignity, and truth,&#8221; the <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/02/keeping-men-out-of-womens-sports/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">order</a> stated.

There is just a single player in professional women&#8217;s soccer who cares about keeping it a women&#8217;s league. Jennifer Sey wants to change that.
After Angel City FC player Elizabeth Eddy was ganged up on by her female teammates for pushing for the league to adopt strict gender rules, prominent voices are putting up money to ensure that players like Eddy have support.
Jennifer Sey, the founder and CEO of XX-XY Athletics, pledged $10,000 to the next NWSL player who stood up for keeping the pro women&#8217;s league for women. Then someone anonymously added $5,000 to up the ante. Then OutKick founder Clay Travis said he&#8217;d double that, bringing the pot to <a href="https://x.com/ClayTravis/status/1986253438603456737">$30,000</a>.
&#8220;I want to encourage more athletes to speak out,&#8221; Sey told The Daily Wire on Thursday. The former Team USA gymnast said her $30,000 won&#8217;t mean anything to a player who is raking in millions from a company like Nike, but most players in women&#8217;s soccer aren&#8217;t in that position.
&#8220;You know the average salary is around $50,000 a year. That&#8217;s not a lot of money,&#8221; Sey said. &#8220;If I can offer $30,000 and take away the fear of cancellation and the fear of losing other endorsement deals and almost double their annual salary, that feels like a worthwhile incentive to put on the table.&#8221;

Travis, an outspoken advocate for women&#8217;s sports, echoed Sey&#8217;s sentiment.
&#8220;The reality is we need more brave professional female athletes,&#8221; Travis told The Daily Wire. &#8220;I am fortunate to have resources to support the things I say. I understand the fear of cancellation is real. The sponsors dropping you is real. I&#8217;ve always been willing to put my money where my mouth is. I hope to do it more going forward.&#8221;
Travis and Sey said players have reached out already in the last 24 hours since Sey made the call to action Wednesday.
Sey, the founder of the only clothing brand that openly stands for women&#8217;s sports being for only women, said it&#8217;s going to take someone bold to make a statement.
&#8220;No one is going to raise their hand and do this unless they really believe in it and they really believe that it&#8217;s necessary to keep women&#8217;s sports female,&#8221; Sey said. &#8220;Because my $30,000 payment is nothing compared probably to the future cancellation they still might endure, right?&#8221;
Sey is no stranger to cancel culture.
When she spoke out about gymnasts being abused nearly two decades ago, she got pushback. The same thing happened when Sey said she wanted schools to open during the COVID lockdowns. It got uncomfortable, but Sey did it anyway.
Sey knew she was doing the right thing when she started XX-XY Athletics a year and a half ago to change the culture around women&#8217;s sports. Now she wants to put that organization behind courageous athletes.
&#8220;You will have my support, my team&#8217;s support and all the athletes on our roster, which is almost 300 athletes at this point, and you&#8217;ll get $30,000 and you will also know that you did the right thing.&#8221;
&#8220;Brands play a role in normalizing ideas,&#8221; Sey said. &#8220;We are standing up for reality.&#8221;
Elizabeth Eddy burst onto the scene of the fight to save women&#8217;s sports in October after she penned a <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/10/27/opinion/national-womens-soccer-league-must-adopt-gender-standards-to-keep-growing/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">piece in the New York Post</a> calling for stricter gender guidelines in the NWSL.
Her Angel City FC teammates called her &#8220;transphobic.&#8221; The team captain, Sarah Gorden, said Eddy&#8217;s article was racist.
&#8220;There is nothing racist about saying women&#8217;s sports are for women,&#8221; Sey said.
Eddy said in her <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KOU0NgKkGQ">response</a> to her teammates, &#8220;responsible people can disagree on this topic, but there is no need to go to bullying and name calling.&#8221;
But with the reality of what Eddy is experiencing, how will women be encouraged to speak up?
&#8220;I think it&#8217;s a slow and steady climb, it will happen slowly then all at once,&#8221; Sey said. &#8220;Every time something happens in the world that alerts people to the issue, more people join the cause. We&#8217;re going to hit a critical mass and no one is going to care anymore if they get called a bigot or a racist because they know it&#8217;s false.&#8221;
For Sey, even small progress is a major victory.
&#8220;If I can get two players from the National Women&#8217;s Soccer League, that&#8217;s two more than we had two weeks ago.&#8221;

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland was found dead on Thursday morning after he fled from law enforcement, according to Texas authorities. He was 24 years old and in his second NFL season.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said that Kneeland died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after fleeing from state troopers who attempted to stop his vehicle for a traffic violation. After Kneeland got away from state troopers, his vehicle was found wrecked and abandoned, and the NFL player fled the scene on foot. Kneeland was found dead by DPS troopers at around 1:30 a.m.
Kneeland’s death came just three days after he scored his first touchdown in the NFL when he recovered a blocked punt in the end zone against the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football.
“It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning,” the team said in a statement. “Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family.”

Dispatch audio obtained by <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2025/11/06/marshawn-kneeland-dispatch-audio-texted-goodbye/?adid=social-tw">TMZ</a> revealed that Kneeland&#8217;s girlfriend and family were concerned about his wellbeing on Wednesday night after he reportedly texted them, saying &#8220;goodbye&#8221; and that he would &#8220;end it all.&#8221; Kneeland&#8217;s girlfriend also told police that Kneeland was armed and had a history of mental issues, according to the <a href="https://www.tmz.com/watch/marshawn-kneeland-dispatch-audio-11-06-2025/">dispatch audio</a>. The Plano Police Department said that officers responded to a &#8220;welfare concern&#8221; and checked an address associated with Kneeland at around 11:40 p.m., but did not make contact with him, The Dallas Morning News <a href="https://www.dallasnews.com/sports/cowboys/2025/11/06/dallas-cowboys-defensive-end-marshawn-kneeland-dies-at-24/">reported</a>.
Kneeland contributed in each of the team’s seven games this season, recording six total solo tackles and one sack. The Cowboys drafted Kneeland in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft.
He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and attended Godwin Heights High School, where he set school records for tackles and sacks. Kneeland went on to play his entire college career at Western Michigan University and was named a second-team All-Mid-American Conference player in 2023.
In his rookie season in Dallas, Kneeland recorded 17 total tackles, two tackles for loss, and had a fumble recovery, despite missing six games with a knee injury.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of Cowboys’ Marshawn Kneeland,” the NFL <a href="https://www.nfl.com/news/cowboys-dl-marshawn-kneeland-dies-age-24">said</a>. “We have been in contact with the Cowboys and have offered support and counseling resources.”
Kneeland’s agent, Jonathan Perzley, added, “I am shattered to confirm that my client and dearest friend Marshawn Kneeland passed away last night. I watched him fight his way from a hopeful kid at Western Michigan with a dream to being a respected professional for the Dallas Cowboys. Marshawn poured his heart into every snap, every practice, and every moment on the field. To lose someone with his talent, spirit, and goodness is a pain I can hardly put into words.”

The captains of Angel City Football Club, a professional soccer team, have labeled their teammate Elizabeth Eddy racist and transphobic after the player called in an <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/10/27/opinion/national-womens-soccer-league-must-adopt-gender-standards-to-keep-growing/">op-ed</a> for stricter gender guidelines in the National Women&#8217;s Soccer League (NWSL).
Sarah Gorden and Angelina Anderson claim the entire Angel City FC is disgusted with Eddy&#8217;s op-ed.
The piece, published in the New York Post on October 27, stated that women should be the only players competing in the NWSL in order to grow and protect the league. Eddy said, &#8220;I’m concerned that without clarity about who the league is for, it will lose its identity and its momentum.&#8221;
The professional soccer player suggested gene testing, which other sports leagues have implemented, as one way to ensure the women playing women&#8217;s soccer are actually women.
&#8220;The NWSL must adopt a clear standard,&#8221; Eddy wrote. &#8220;One option is all players must be born with ovaries, as the FA requires. Another option is an SRY gene test, like those World Athletics and World Boxing implemented.&#8221;
Her teammates responded negatively.
&#8220;The undertones come across as transphobic, and racist as well,&#8221; Sarah Gorden said at a press conference, the recording of which was posted to the team&#8217;s official <a href="https://x.com/weareangelcity/status/1984318024518631508?s=12&amp;t=A3fcQmBTc_xjf_6w2Ow4nA">X account</a>.

Gorden went on to say in the video that the op-ed, combined with the featured image being of a black player, was &#8220;inherently racist.&#8221;
&#8220;As a mixed woman with a black family, I&#8217;m devastated by this article,&#8221; Gorden added.
Anderson said that when she thinks of Los Angeles, she thinks of inclusivity, which Eddy actually said she stands for in her op-ed.
&#8220;Addressing this challenge entails remembering why women’s sports categories exist in the first place,&#8221; Eddy said. &#8220;Not to exclude but to create a space where female athletes can physically compete on equal footing.&#8221;
Angel City FC&#8217;s season ended Sunday in a loss to Chicago.

It&#8217;s all in response to the NFL tapping Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny for America’s largest stage, giving a platform to a man who openly hates America. 
But not all Puerto Ricans share Bad Bunny&#8217;s sentiment. Samuel Rodriguez is a pastor of Puerto Rican descent who has advised three U.S. Presidents, been a prolific author and movie producer, and has a much different outlook on the United States. In fact, he says the rapper doesn&#8217;t come close to representing traditional Hispanic values. It&#8217;s certainly worth your time. —The Daily Wire

As an American of Puerto Rican descent, I live in tension. I admire Bad Bunny. He is a generational talent, creative, charismatic, and relentless. He rose from the barrios of Vega Baja to the summit of global culture. He did not inherit wealth or privilege. He succeeded through determination, resilience, and hard work. Even those who do not understand his lyrics recognize his artistry and marketing brilliance. He has become a global symbol of Latino influence.
My admiration, however, stops there. As the world prepares to watch his Super Bowl halftime show next February, my heart aches. For all his brilliance, Bad Bunny misunderstands both Puerto Rico and America. His refusal to stand for “God Bless America” during the Major League Baseball playoffs at Yankee Stadium was not an act of protest, it was a moment of detachment. Millions of us who cherish both the island and the mainland felt that sting. We love America; We appreciate its Christian foundation, promise, and opportunity. Simply stated, we believe God has blessed this nation.
Unfortunately, much of what Bad Bunny stands for and espouses in his music not only fails to resonate with many Hispanics in America, but it also fails to honor and understand the community’s deep love for this country.

I will be the first to acknowledge that America is not perfect. But despite that, it remains blessed. This nation is not anti-immigrant. It supports legal immigration.
Hispanics know this better than anyone. Many of us lived that journey or watched our parents walk it. We support borders and order not out of cruelty but out of conviction. We believe in compassion expressed through law. <a href="https://www.axios.com/2025/06/26/trump-harris-latino-voters-2024-election-pew" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.axios.com/2025/06/26/trump-harris-latino-voters-2024-election-pew&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1761311002633000&amp;usg=AOvVaw197pP1ngxt9G7_phoNF8Bb">Nearly half of Hispanic voters supported President Trump in 2024</a>. More than half of Hispanic men did the same. That was not betrayal. It reflected deeply held values.
These traditional Hispanic values — faith, family, and freedom — stand in contrast to much of what Bad Bunny promotes. His embrace of transgender ideology and sexually explicit performances does not represent the Latino family gathered around the table after Sunday church. We love God. We honor family. We understand freedom as responsibility, not rebellion. The Latino vote has not drifted to the Right, it has returned home to convictions that have always defined us.
Hispanics also see dissonance in Bad Bunny’s condemnation of capitalism, given that he lives from its blessings. He has praised socialist regimes such as Venezuela, yet his success story could not exist without the free market. He thrives in a system that rewards risk, creativity, and persistence. One cannot criticize capitalism while enjoying everything it provides.
The Hispanic future in America is not secular, cynical, or socialist. It is spiritual, hopeful, and devoted to freedom. We pray. We protect our families. We work hard. We still believe that God blesses nations that honor Him.
But before all of this, Bad Bunny must recognize one fundamental truth: He is an American. Every Puerto Rican is. We are born citizens of the United States. We do not need a passport to enter this nation, but we do need humility to understand what a privilege that is.
Bad Bunny may not need a passport, but he needs perspective. He needs humility. He needs clarity about what America truly represents for Puerto Ricans and for every dreamer who still believes this country offers the chance to rise.
America is not flawless. Yet it remains the most transformative and opportunity-rich nation in human history. My prayer is that when Bad Bunny steps onto that stage, gratitude will replace defiance — gratitude for a nation that gave a kid from Puerto Rico the chance to conquer the world.

Footage has emerged from the moments after former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez was involved in a stabbing incident in Indianapolis, early Saturday morning.
Sanchez, who suffered serious injuries, was subsequently arrested and charged with battery for his role in the incident.
According to the footage, which was <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/10/06/sports/bloody-mark-sanchez-seen-stumbling-down-indianapolis-sidewalk-after-being-stabbed-in-fight-with-grease-truck-driver/">obtained</a> by the New York Post, Sanchez appears bloodied and stumbling along a sidewalk and clutching the right side of his lower chest.
The former QB reportedly stumbled from an alleyway into a nearby bar, where paramedics were called. He was treated for stab wounds that initially left him in critical condition. By Saturday, it was confirmed by Fox Sports that Sanchez was in stable condition and recovering.
After initial reports indicated Sanchez could be the victim of a random stabbing incident, subsequent reporting revealed that he allegedly punched a 69-year-old truck driver outside of a bar, which led to a bloody escalation. The altercation was apparently sparked over a parking dispute.
Sanchez was arrested and charged in the incident, and is now <a href="https://fox59.com/news/indycrime/former-nfl-qb-mark-sanchez-charged-after-surveillance-video-shows-alleged-fight-in-downtown-indy-alley/">facing</a> misdemeanor criminal charges of Battery Resulting in Injury, Public Intoxication, and Unlawful Entry of a Motor Vehicle.
Witnesses say Sanchez’s behavior was erratic and that he seemed intoxicated prior to the incident. In apparent self-defense, the victim stabbed Sanchez. The truck driver was hospitalized with severe facial wounds, but is now stable, according to a statement from his family.

Indianapolis police initially <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/plot-twist-nfl-star-mark-sanchez-charged-with-battery-after-being-stabbed">indicated</a> on Saturday that two men were in a “physical disturbance” in downtown Indianapolis around 12:30 a.m., with one man suffering stab wounds and the other cuts.
Police said in the statement that the fight was “an isolated incident between the two men and not a random act of violence.”
On Saturday afternoon, Fox Sports released a statement confirming that Sanchez was recovering and “in stable condition.” Sanchez currently works as a Fox Sports analyst.
“Mark Sanchez was injured in Indianapolis on Saturday and is currently recovering in the hospital in stable condition,” the statement said. “We are deeply grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark, and we ask that everyone please respect his and his family’s privacy during this time.”

Former NFL quarterback and current Fox Sports analyst Mark Sanchez was charged with battery after a fight in downtown Indianapolis that left him hospitalized with stab wounds on Saturday shortly after midnight, police and the TV network said.
Indianapolis police charged Sanchez, 38, with battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle and public intoxication, all misdemeanors. Sanchez is still in the hospital and was not booked in the county jail, police said in a statement, adding that final decisions on charges will be made by the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
The prosecutor’s office did not immediately return a request for comment.
An earlier statement from Indianapolis police said two men were in a “physical disturbance” in downtown Indianapolis around 12:30 a.m., with one receiving stab wounds and the other cuts. A statement from Fox Sports said Sanchez was in stable condition in the hospital.

Police said the fight was “an isolated incident between the two men and not a random act of violence.” The other man’s name was not released. Indianapolis police do not identify victims or suspects “unless the suspect is arrested, charged or being sought,” the statement said.
Sanchez played 10 seasons in the NFL, starting with the New York Jets for five years before short stints with several other franchises. He has not played in the National Football League since 2018.
He was slated to cover the Sunday game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Fox Sports. “We are deeply grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support,” the network said in a statement posted on X.
“Sending our thoughts and love to Mark Sanchez and his family. Hoping for a speedy recovery, 6,” said the Jets, referencing his jersey number.

Sports announcer and former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez was stabbed on Friday night in Indianapolis, and is currently in the hospital with critical injuries.
The stabbing took place on a street in downtown Indianapolis, according to reporting from TMZ. In addition Sanchez, one other person was injured.

For an episode that aired on Sunday evening, UFC President Dana White told CBS&#8217;s &#8220;60 Minutes&#8221; that in his mind, there was no such thing as being &#8220;too masculine.&#8221;
White, who spoke at the Republican National Conventions in 2016 and 2024 and supported President Donald Trump through three campaigns, spoke with correspondent Jon Wertheim about the concept of &#8220;toxic masculinity&#8221; and whether or not the culture was shifting around that idea.
Wertheim began by quoting a term he said White had used in the past, saying that he&#8217;d decried the &#8220;wussification of America&#8221; — and White suggested that the word he&#8217;d used had actually begun with a different letter, but that he understood why that might be censored for broadcast television.

The UFC is expected to hold an event at the White House in 2026 as part of America&#8217;s 250th birthday festivities — an event that both Trump and White have independently confirmed.
&#8220;We’re literally going to take over Washington, D.C., that week. We’re going to do the weigh-ins there. We’re going to have the weigh-in events. And we’ll have fan events all week. We’re going to do our expo there and just a total Washington, D.C., takeover,&#8221; White said of the planned event.
