Rapper Snoop Dogg stole the show at the annual NFL Honors award show on Thursday, playfully poking fun at the 49-year age gap between former New England Patriots legendary head coach Bill Belichick, 72, and his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
Snoop performed a monologue at the pre-Super Bowl event in New Orleans, saying he&#8217;s been a “football fan for a long time” while reminiscing about how things used to be in the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/nfl" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NFL</a>.
“I remember back when the Cowboys was [sic] good. I remember back when the Chiefs was [sic] bad,” Snoop said. “And I remember — what was it? Bill Belichick&#8217;s girlfriend wasn&#8217;t even born yet.&#8221;

The coverage cut to the couple, showing Hudson’s jaw drop wide open in apparent shock while Belichick chuckled next to her.
Belichick arrived at the event wearing a maroon jacket and all six of his Super Bowl rings. In December, he accepted a head coaching position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
This isn&#8217;t the first time Hudson and Belichick have endured jokes about their sizable age gap. In May, during Netflix&#8217;s “The Roast of Tom Brady,” former Patriots players took some shots at their former coach.

Hudson is a former cheerleader and the 2024 Miss Maine USA pageant&#8217;s first runner-up, per <a href="https://pagesix.com/entertainment/who-is-jordon-hudson-bill-belichick-girlfriend/">Page Six</a>. The couple reportedly met on a flight in 2021 and began dating in 2023. 
Belichick was previously married to Debby Clarke from 1977 until 2006 and has three children with her. Next, he was in a long-term relationship with Linda Holliday from 2007 until 2023.

Rap artist <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/snoop-dogg">Snoop Dogg</a> clapped back at critics who took issue with him performing at one of the celebratory events ahead of the inauguration of President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump">Donald Trump</a> last week.
The 53-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/rap-music">entertainer</a>, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., addressed his haters via a video uploaded to Instagram on Sunday. Snoop had performed at an event called the Crypto Ball in Washington, D.C., on January 18, which is why so many followers were reacting badly. Soulja Boy and Rick Ross also performed at the event.
&#8220;For all the hate, I&#8217;m going to answer with love,&#8221; Snoop said in a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DFTK5UUy4y7/#">video</a> recorded in his car. &#8220;Y&#8217;all can&#8217;t hate enough; I love too much. Get your life right, stop worrying about mine. I&#8217;m cool, I&#8217;m together. Still a black man. Still 100% black. All out &#8217;til you ball out, or &#8217;til you fall out.&#8221;
While the rapper had been critical of Trump during his first term as president, Snoop seems to have changed his mind in recent years. Critics couldn’t help but point out that the artist once pretended to shoot a clown dressed as Trump in 2017 in a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/snoop-dogg-has-nothing-but-love-and-respect-for-trump-as-feud-goes-up-in-smoke">music video</a> for the song “Lavender.”
He also voiced his disdain in the song &#8220;M.A.C.A (Make America Crip Again),&#8221; saying, &#8220;The president say he wants to Make America Great Again, f***- that s***.&#8221;
Snoop <a href="https://x.com/XXL/status/1270826921455243268">called</a> Trump a &#8220;f***ing weirdo&#8221; on X in 2020, saying, &#8220;if you voted for him, I have no problem with that, but if you&#8217;re still with him, f*** you.&#8221;
But then in recent years, the rapper seems to have changed his mind. In 2021, Trump commuted the 25-to-life sentence of Michael Harris, co-founder of Death Row Records, for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. &#8220;That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out. They did some great work while they was in there,&#8221; Snoop said at the time.
Then in 2024, Snoop showed his appreciation for Trump again. “Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me,” Snoop Dogg said, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/snoop-dogg-has-nothing-but-love-and-respect-for-trump-as-feud-goes-up-in-smoke">reported</a>. “He has done only great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris. So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”
Other mainstream artists have also come under fire for performing at Trump’s inauguration events, including “American Idol” winner Carrie Underwood, Jewel, and Nelly.
&#8220;I&#8217;m not political. I&#8217;m not out here trying to tell anybody who they should vote for,&#8221; Nelly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/this-isnt-politics-rapper-nelly-defends-decision-to-perform-at-trumps-inaugural-ball">said</a> after performing at the inaugural ball. &#8220;But what I will say is that, I respect the office. &#8220;The View&#8221; host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ana-navarro" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ana Navarro</a> referred to Snoop Dogg as a &#8220;trained seal&#8221; — after he opted to perform at one of President Donald Trump&#8217;s second inaugural events — during the talk show&#8217;s Tuesday broadcast.
Navarro, who self-identifies as a Republican despite showing unwavering support for former President Joe Biden and even hosting one night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention, named rapper Snoop Dogg specifically and suggested that because he had said different things about Trump in 2017, he was a hypocrite for changing his position some time in the last eight years.

Ritchie said, &#8220;Like, it&#8217;s OK … we think differently on a lot of things, but if you&#8217;re a reasonable person, and I really got to stress ‘reasonable,’ because Lord knows there are some fruitcakes out there.&#8221;
Underwood caught a lot of heat from fans due to her decision to sing “America the Beautiful” at the inauguration. She eventually issued a statement to fans, saying, &#8220;I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event.”

Rap artist-turned-actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/snoop-dogg">Snoop Dogg</a> provided a brief update on Tuesday about his 24-year-old daughter Cori Broadus’ current condition as she recovers from a severe stroke.
“She&#8217;s doing a little bit better,” the 52-year-old told <a href="https://people.com/snoop-dogg-on-daughter-cori-broadus-recovery-after-stroke-exclusive-8548442">People Magazine</a> while attending the Los Angeles premiere of his new sports comedy, “The Underdoggs.” 
When the interviewer asked Snoop if the scary incident helped put his life’s priorities in perspective, the recording artist replied, “Yeah, yeah. Something like that.”
Cori is still in the hospital after experiencing a stroke on January 18, the publication noted. The rapper’s daughter shared on social media that she may be able to go home by Wednesday.
“They took me off heaprin [sic] tonight (blood thinner) &amp; most likely can go home tomorrow,” she told fans on Tuesday.
Cori had previously updated her social media followers on her condition after the stroke occurred. “I had a severe stroke this a.m. I started breaking down crying when they told me,” she wrote in a post shared Thursday. “Like I’m only 24, what did I do in my past to deserve all of this.”

Snoop’s daughter was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease that targets healthy tissue and organs throughout the body, when she was six years old. Her mom, Shanté Broadus, said it took a while to get a correct diagnosis.
“No one could tell me what was wrong,” she said in 2010. “They drew tons of blood and said she has old-person cells. They gave her all kinds of [medication]. But she went downhill.”
“She’s the toughest little thing I’ve ever met,” Snoop said at the time. “She’s on the honor roll, playing volleyball and softball, living life. She has all this joy. In the beginning lupus was winning. But now Cori is.”
Cori admitted to struggling with mental health and attempting suicide in 2021. 
“Just because my dad is who he is doesn’t mean I don’t get sad, that doesn’t mean that I don’t want things or that I don’t feel a way. I don’t know how to explain it,” she said during a May 2021 interview with <a href="https://people.com/music/snoop-dogg-daughter-cori-broadus-mental-health-suicide-attempt/">People</a>. “I’ve always been sad. I’ve always been depressed. I feel like I’ve been through a lot.”

Rapper <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/snoop-dogg" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Snoop Dogg’s</a> 24-year-old daughter, Cori Broadus, said this week that she was hospitalized after suffering a &#8220;severe stroke.&#8221;
Broadus made the announcement Thursday on social media, which included photos from her hospital bed.
“I had a severe stroke this a.m. I started breaking down crying when they told me,” she wrote. “Like I’m only 24, what did I do in my past to deserve all of this.”
No details were shared about what led to her stroke or if she had an ischemic stroke, which occurs when blood clots or other particles block the blood vessels to the brain; or if she had a hemorrhagic stroke, which happens when an artery in the brain leaks blood or ruptures, according to the <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/stroke/about.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CDC</a>.

Rapper Snoop Dogg has been added as a reporter to NBC&#8217;s Olympic coverage of the 2024 Summer Games in Paris.
The 52-year-old, born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., will join NBC Sports broadcaster Mike Tirico to provide regular reports during primetime coverage, <a href="https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/nbc-snoop-dogg-2024-paris-olympics-primetime-1235858972/">Variety</a> reported.
&#8220;I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris. It&#8217;s a celebration of skill, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness,&#8221; he said in a statement. &#8220;We&#8217;re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix. It&#8217;s going to be the most epic Olympics ever, so stay tuned, and keep it locked.&#8221;

The move to add the rapper to the broadcasts comes after the &#8220;Gin and Juice&#8221; hitmaker teamed with comedian Kevin Hart to give commentary for the 2020 Tokyo Games, <a href="https://www.si.com/olympics/2024/01/01/nbc-add-snoop-dogg-reporter-for-paris-olympics-coverage">Sports Illustrated</a> noted.
Molly Solomon, executive producer and president of NBC Olympics Production, told Variety that Snoop&#8217;s past coverage generated &#8220;tens of millions of views.&#8221;
&#8220;That performance alone has earned Snoop a job as our Special Correspondent in Paris,&#8221; she added. &#8220;We don&#8217;t know what the heck is going to happen every day, but we know he will add his unique perspective to our re-imagined Olympic primetime show.&#8221;
The opening ceremony for the Paris Olympics is currently scheduled for July 26.

To the surprise of no one, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/snoop-dogg">Snoop Dogg</a> is not giving up smoking <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/marijuana">marijuana</a>. It was all an elaborate – and effective – marketing campaign for a new product.
The 52-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment">rapper</a> made the announcement on social media last week. “I’m giving up smoke,” Snoop wrote in an Instagram post. The attached image included a longer statement: &#8220;After much consideration &amp; conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”
After spending decades touting his love for all things cannabis and molding his identity around marijuana, not to mention investing heavily in the industry, the announcement seemed like some kind of joke. Most followers were suspicious about the post, predicting that the rapper would eventually clarify his statements.
Those skeptics weren’t wrong.
On Monday, Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., announced that he’s partnering with Solo Stove, a smokeless fire pit brand.
“I love a good fire outside but the smoke was too much. Solo Stove fixed fire and took out the smoke. They changed the game and now I’m excited to spread the love and stay warm with my friends and family,” the recording artist said in a press release.
The entrepreneur is now an official &#8220;smokesman&#8221; for the brand, per <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/no-snoop-dogg-isnt-quitting-150138014.html">Yahoo</a>. He also posted again on Instagram about his new endorsement.
“I’m done with smoke. I’m going smokeless with [Solo Stove],” he wrote in the caption. 
“I’m giving up smoke,” he says in the video. “I know what you’re thinking. Snoop! Smoke is kinda your whole thing! But I’m done with it. Done with the coughing and my clothes smelling all sticky icky. I’m going smokeless.” 
He next gestures to the Solo Stove burning in front of him, saying, “They took the smoke out of it. Clever.”

“I’m giving up smoke,” the rapper wrote in an Instagram post on Thursday. The attached image included a longer statement that said, “After much consideration &amp; conversation with my family, I&#8217;ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”

Fans immediately flocked to the comments in disbelief. Many accused Snoop of engineering a publicity stunt to promote a new line of cannabis edibles, pointing out that the wording referred to smoking specifically and not to other forms of marijuana consumption.

While the rapper denied having a blunt roller on staff, Renegade Piranha said he served that role for Snoop. “On average, I do about half a pound a day, which seems excessive. So that&#8217;s roughly like 75 to 150 units per day. I calculate it at over 450,000 blunts,” he said of the celeb’s marijuana intake.
Earlier this year, Snoop said he had cut back on smoking weed since becoming a grandfather. “Being a grandfather has changed me in multiple ways,” he told <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-11899925/Snoop-Dogg-reveals-moderated-weed-intake-grandfather.html">The Daily Mail</a> in March.

And while Musk&#8217;s poll — and Snoop Dogg&#8217;s follow-up — certainly generated a lot of conversation, FOX 5 DC anchor Jim Lokay pointed out the fact that Musk had already floated the possibility of bringing in someone else to <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/breaking-elon-musk-says-hell-find-someone-else-to-run-twitter-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">run the platform&#8217;s</a> day-to-day operations.
&#8220;While I realize the @elonmusk &#8216;should I step down poll?&#8217; is great fodder, please remember that back in October, he told a judge he planned to &#8216;reduce my time at Twitter and find somebody else to run Twitter over time,'&#8221; Lokay tweeted.

Superstar Eminem has had quite the transformation over the last several decades going from rapping in songs about his weaknesses with drugs to ones about faith.
Doing a deeper dive into the lyrics of songs by the 49-year-old rapper, we found numerous examples of messages about drugs, death, suicide, guns, violence, and more. His music contains messages about the struggle between right and wrong, as he mentions things like the satan and demons in such as his 1998 song &#8220;<a href="https://genius.com/Eminem-demon-inside-lyrics">Demon Inside.&#8221;</a>
In a <a href="https://player.siriusxm.com/?ko_click_id=ko_r850y360nozjzncwn&amp;type=show&amp;id=e240bbcb-72c4-4d69-1990-3a356ee78c7d">recent interview,</a> the rapper talked about his previous addiction with Vicodin and Valium and how he almost died in 2007 from an overdose, <a href="https://sports.yahoo.com/eminem-overdose-brain-pills-relapse-193240372.html">Yahoo.com</a> reported in a piece published Thursday. He&#8217;s been sober now for 14 years.
There are also examples in his songs that he may always have been searching for help with these battles with lyrics that invoke such words as the &#8220;Bible,&#8221; &#8220;Jesus,&#8221; and the &#8220;devil&#8221; way before his <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/bible-at-my-side-like-a-rifle-with-a-god-given-gift-eminem-talks-about-his-faith-in-remix-of-kanyes-use-this-gospel">latest remix</a> of Kanye West&#8217;s &#8220;Use This Gospel.&#8221;
As far back as his 1996 album &#8220;Infinite,&#8221;  Eminem, born Marshall Mathers,&#8221; rapped about God in one track titled,&#8221;It’s Ok.&#8221;
In it Mathers sings the <a href="https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/eminem/itsok.html">lyrics</a>, &#8220;But in the midst of this insanity / I&#8217;ve found my Christianity / through God and there&#8217;s a wish he granted me / he showed me how to cope with this stress and hope for the best / instead of moping depressed.&#8221;
In 2000, the Marshall Mathers LP dropped and Eminem became a huge celebrity, known for his shocking and NSFW lyrics, with hits like &#8220;The Real Slim Shady.&#8221;
The lyrics in his songs throughout his career also appear to tell the story about a man who knows all too well about the struggles in fame to steer clear from influences and stay on the righteous path. And those elements of faith have been interspersed in his music. Take a song like his massive hit in 2002, &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tR1ECf4sEpw">Lose Yourself&#8221;</a> from the soundtrack from his motion picture movie &#8220;8 Mile.&#8221;
In the song Mathers sings the lyrics, &#8220;The soul&#8217;s escaping, through this hole that is gaping/This world is mine for the taking/Make me king, as we move toward a new world order/A normal life is boring, but superstardom&#8217;s close to post mortem/It only grows harder, homie grows hotter/He blows, it&#8217;s all over/These hoes is all on him coast to coast shows, he&#8217;s known as the globetrotter/Lonely roads, God only knows.&#8221;
In his 2014 song &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAkp1zRmLU4">Fine Line&#8221;,</a> he raps the lines, &#8220;And I don&#8217;t like how I see myself, so I open the Bible to Isaiah/&#8217;Cause I swear to Christ there are nights where I stay up at night/And say a prayer twice just to make sure God hears cause this ice layer/I skate on&#8217;s a nice way of putting it …&#8221;
In 2017, Eminem released his album titled &#8220;Revival&#8221; and it includes several songs that invoke words like holy water and God.
In one song on the album called, &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1WpP7iowLc">Walk On Water</a>,&#8221; he did with Beyonce, he sings, &#8220;God&#8217;s given me all this/Still I feel no different regardless/Kids look to me like as a God, this is retarded/If only they knew, it&#8217;s a facade and it&#8217;s exhaustive/And I try to not listen to nonsense/But if you b****es are trying to strip me of my confidence/Mission accomplished/I&#8217;m not God-sent.&#8221;
In 2019, Eminem is featured Fat Joe&#8217;s &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MiOsYJKNwk">Lord Above</a>&#8221; as he rapped the lyrics, &#8220;You ain&#8217;t seen God &#8217;til you starin&#8217; down a barrel/I was gun shy, but now like a snail/The slug&#8217;s comin&#8217; out of its shell.&#8221;
In January 2020, the superstar rapper released the surprise LP Music To Be Murdered By with a track called &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHZGOJ1kysc">Unaccommodating</a>.&#8221; The lyrics to the song address is then-feud with rapper Machine Gun Kelly and invoke lines about the devil and God.
But Eminem&#8217;s 2022 remix of West&#8217;s 2019 &#8220;Use This Gospel&#8221; produced by Dr. Dre for DJ Khaled&#8217;s &#8220;God Did&#8221; album is probably the most revealing song he&#8217;s done yet that puts a message about his &#8220;faith&#8221; front and center.

In the video that recently dropped on YouTube, fans hear Mathers rap about how he&#8217;s &#8220;holding on,&#8221; but doesn&#8217;t know how much &#8220;longer&#8221; he can take it since there are temptations from Satan everywhere he looks, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/bible-at-my-side-like-a-rifle-with-a-god-given-gift-eminem-talks-about-his-faith-in-remix-of-kanyes-use-this-gospel">reported</a>.
Eminem raps the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nh6DuYynq7c">lines</a>, &#8220;Today&#8217;s the day that I put all of my trust and faith in You, Father/Please let this hate make me stronger/&#8217;Fore they turn on me like a zombie/It&#8217;s like &#8216;m being strangled unconscious (Yeah)/When temptation is almost like Satan is making you tryna/Take you away from your daughters.&#8221;
In one part he rapped, &#8220;Armed with Jesus, my weapon is prayer,&#8221; and near the end of his part on the song he raps, &#8220;Woke up on stage at a concert/Whole place looking like a mosh pit/Bible at my side like a rifle with a God-given gift/Every single day I thank God for/That&#8217;s why I pay so much homage/Praises to Jesus, I&#8217;ll always.&#8221;
Though there doesn&#8217;t appear to be a definitive answer as to whether or not the legendary rapper is a born again Christian, Eminem has definitely used religious references in his music since the start of his career and those messages seem to be getting louder each year.
