Recording artist Noah Kahan is weighing in on the viral video of a concertgoer seemingly skipping the bathroom in favor of letting it all go right there.
The singer was reacting to an incident at the Philadelphia stop of his &#8220;Great Divide World Tour&#8221; over the weekend. After the show, Kahan shared a now-expired backstage selfie that blurred out his pants, saying, &#8220;Holy sh*t, Philly.&#8221;
&#8220;If that’s what tour is going to be like, I’m going to need to buy significantly more boxers,” the singer <a href="https://x.com/NoahKahan/status/2070895009621033173">joked</a>. 
He also posted a plea for fans to head to the facilities if nature calls.

This all came after a video started circulating of a person appearing to defecate on the floor during the show.

The witness wrote of the experience, “Ok so the person who did this was one row in front of me in section AA. I guess they didn’t want to miss a couple songs to use the bathroom so they just straight up sh*t themselves.”
The <a href="https://x.com/KahanArchive/status/2070925639981388285">post</a> went on, “[They] started picking actual pieces of poop out of their butt and put it on the floor. She started trying to waffle stomp the turds and acted like nothing happened but we flagged down security. One of the most unreal concert experiences I’ve ever witnessed.”
Some commenters who claimed they were there said the individual was escorted out by security.
Bathroom incidents at concerts have been in the headlines lately. Singer Olivia Rodrigo revealed one disgusting habit some of her fans allegedly participate in.
The 23-year-old recording artist discussed the phenomenon during a recent interview with Kiss FM. Hosts Tyler West and Chloe Burrows asked Rodrigo about the worst place she’s had to use the restroom, and the pop singer responded by talking about all the times she’s suspected that concertgoers were wearing adult diapers so they could get and keep the best spots at her shows.
“I can’t think of anything for myself,” Rodrigo said. “But I have been to certain concerts and certain festivals where people wear diapers so that they can be front row of the show, and that’s been an experience as a performer that I have … smelled.”
“That is insane behavior!” Burrows said with a gasp. “I cannot believe that.”
She said it’s not that surprising as it’s a known trend among New Year’s Eve revelers in New York City.
“It’s also like in the ball drop in New York for New Year’s Eve,” Olivia continued. “Everyone is wearing diapers, they sit there all day.”
“You’re pranking us,” West said in response. Rodrigo insisted that it’s true, though. “No, that’s a thing. I think about it kind of often.”

Billy Joel is not happy about the upcoming biopic “Billy and Me” and says it&#8217;s being made without his permission.
“Billy and Me” is told from the perspective of Joel’s first manager, Irwin Mazur, and details the time before he became famous with the release of the 1973 iconic single “Piano Man.” Per <a href="https://variety.com/2026/music/news/billy-joel-biopic-billy-and-me-john-ottman-1236753697/">Variety</a>, casting is currently underway, and the film is scheduled to start shooting later this year.
The moviemakers procured rights to Mazur’s life story and to that of drummer Jon Small, who played with Joel in the bands The Hassles and Attila. But they do not have the rights to Joel’s music or life. 
A statement from Joel’s rep said, “Since 2021, the parties involved have been officially notified that they do not possess Billy Joel’s life rights and will not be able to secure the music rights required for this project. Billy Joel has not authorized or supported this project in any capacity, and any attempt to move forward without it would be both legally and professionally misguided.” 
Film producer Adam Ripp told Variety in reply to the statement, “The story of ‘Billy and Me’ is told from the perspective of Billy’s manager at the time, Irwin Mazur, and features Billy’s lifelong friend and former drummer Jon Small. The project has acquired the exclusive life story rights of Irwin Mazur, as well as the life story rights of Jon Small.”
“‘Billy and Me’ focuses on the period surrounding Billy Joel and The Hassles, and features the cover songs performed by them during that era,” he added. “As such, characterizing ‘Billy and Me’ as ‘legally and professionally misguided’ does not accurately reflect the nature of the project nor the legally obtained rights underlying the production. The film is based on Irwin Mazur and Jon Small’s firsthand experiences and Irwin’s legitimate right to tell his own life story and perspective regarding the events depicted in the film.”
The film will likely delve into the story of Joel’s first wife, Elizabeth Weber, the inspiration for his hit singles, “She’s Always a Woman” and “Just the Way You Are.” 
Weber was married to Small and had an affair with Joel. During a career decline, Joel became depressed and attempted suicide, as he <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/06/entertainment/billy-joel-documentary-suicide-attempts">discussed</a> in the HBO documentary, “And So It Goes.” Small found Joel after one of the attempts and brought him to the hospital. 
Joel and Small became friends again, and he and Weber also repaired their relationship. They married in 1973, and she became his manager, then divorced in 1982. The Grammy Award-winning singer has been married to his fourth wife, Alexis Roderick, since 2015.

Singer Chappell Roan just responded after being called out by Brazilian soccer star Jorginho Frello for her alleged treatment of his 11-year-old stepdaughter. The singer claimed her personal security was not involved and said she doesn’t actually “hate children.”
The drama began when Frello detailed his version of the “aggressive” treatment of Chappell&#8217;s young fan while both were eating breakfast at a local hotel. He claimed Chappell Roan&#8217;s security guard threatened his family, including the young girl, for daring to walk by the Grammy Award-winner’s table and look at her.
In Frello’s social media post, he said his daughter “was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire” before the hotel drama changed everything. Frello did not say the name of the child, but it’s believed he is referring to his stepdaughter, who is the biological child of actor Jude Law and Frello’s wife Catherine Harding.
Chappell Roan, whose real name is Kayleigh Amstutz, is currently headlining Lollapalooza Brazil in São Paulo.
“By coincidence, they’re staying at the same hotel as this artist. During breakfast, the artist walked past their table. My daughter, like any child, recognised her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it really was her,” he explained. “And the worst part is she didn’t even approach her. She simply walked past the singer’s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn’t say anything, didn’t ask for anything.”
The pro athlete said that next, “a large security guard came over to their table while they were still having breakfast and began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and daughter, saying that she shouldn’t allow my daughter to ‘disrespect’ or ‘harass’ other people.”
Frello continued the post, saying his daughter “was extremely shaken and cried a lot” following the interaction. He added in his post, “It’s sad to see this kind of treatment coming from those who should understand the importance of fans. At the end of the day, they are the ones who build all of this. I sincerely hope this serves as a moment of reflection. No one should have to go through this, especially not a child.”
Chappell Roan addressed the accusations Sunday morning with an Instagram post of her own, claiming that she had no knowledge of the incident.
“I’m just going to tell my half of the story of what happened today with a mother and child who were involved with a security guard who is not my personal security,” the singer <a href="https://www.instagram.com/stories/chappellroan/3858455290845217294/?hl=en">said</a> in a video response. “I didn’t even see, I didn’t even see a woman and a child. Like, no one came up to me. No one bothered me. I was just sitting at breakfast in my hotel. I think these people were staying at the hotel as well.”
“The fact that a security guard who was … I did not ask the security guard to go up and talk to this mother and child. They did not come up to me. They weren’t doing anything. It’s unfair for security to just assume someone doesn’t have good intentions when they have no reason to believe, because there’s no action even taken. I do not hate people who are fans of my music. I do not hate children. Like, that is crazy,” she went on. “I’m sorry to the mother and child that someone was assuming something that you would do something and that if you felt uncomfortable, that makes me really sad. You did not deserve that.”
Chappell Roan has been outspoken about having personal boundaries and is known for calling out fans or paparazzi who approach her, even at events. “I chose this career path because I love music and art and honoring my inner child, I do not accept harassment of any kind because I chose this path, nor do I deserve it,” she <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C_CGxsrP4Bc/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1">shared</a> in 2024.

Pop star Britney Spears was arrested overnight in Ventura County, California, on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to multiple media reports.
The 44-year-old recording artist was stopped by the California Highway Patrol around 9:30 p.m. and booked shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday, per <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2026/03/05/entertainment/britney-spears-arrest">CNN</a>. Authorities reportedly listed the incident as a &#8220;cite and release,&#8221; meaning Spears was let go without bail pending a court appearance. Additional details were not immediately available. 
Spears&#8217; manager described the situation as &#8220;an unfortunate incident&#8221; that was &#8220;completely inexcusable.&#8221;
&#8220;Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law,&#8221; Spears&#8217; manager said in a statement. &#8220;Hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney&#8217;s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.&#8221;
The statement added that Spears&#8217; family is working on a plan “to set her up for success for well-being.&#8221;

Spears was previously charged with a misdemeanor hit-and-run in 2007, which was later dismissed. She was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation the following year and was subsequently placed under a conservatorship overseen primarily by her father. That arrangement lasted 13 years before a judge terminated it in November 2021 following the fan-led &#8220;Free Britney&#8221; movement.

The 42-year-old “American Idol” winner dealt with major backlash from followers when she opted to perform “America the Beautiful” at Trump’s inauguration ceremony last January. Now she’s stepped in as a judge on “American Idol” and has already gotten booed on several occasions. Though it’s not completely clear the reason fans are booing her, many have been speculating it’s because of that performance.
Either way, Underwood said she’s not letting it get to her. &#8220;You guys are gonna boo me. You’re gonna boo me,&#8221; the singer told the crowd at one point during a recent episode of the show. &#8220;It’s coming. Bring it on. I love it! Your boos are feeding me.&#8221;

The 27-year-old singer initially made headlines on Friday following her sold-out show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. 
“I’m so lucky to be able to live here and to play here, and this city has always taken care of me, and it’s only my duty to take care of it back, so I just want to thank you,” the singer, whose legal name is Kayleigh Amstutz, said before adding, “And f*** ICE forever.”
Tricia McLaughlin, the assistant secretary for public affairs at the Department of Homeland Security, responded to Amstutz on Sunday via a <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2025/10/11/feds-clap-back-chappell-roan-saying-f-ice-forever-concert/">statement</a> issued to TMZ.
“‘Pink Pony Club’ is good,” she said, referencing the singer’s popular single. “Pedophiles are bad. That’s who we’re getting off of our streets. Get a grip.”

One of the most talked-about instances of anti-ICE messaging came when the NFL selected Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny to perform in the 2026 Super Bowl despite his refusal to tour in the United States because of immigration policies.
The singer referred to ICE agents as “motherf***ers” and “sons of b****es” in a video he posted to Instagram.

The custom started after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, when MLB started playing “God Bless America” during the seventh-inning stretch to honor first responders, victims, and the military.

President Trump is not on board with the NFL’s decision to have ICE-bashing artist Bad Bunny as the Halftime Show performer at Super Bowl LX in February.

“There was the issue of — like, f***ing ICE could be outside. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”
Social media users also pointed out that none of Bad Bunny’s songs are in English.
He later addressed the backlash he and the NFL received following the announcement, advising viewers to learn Spanish if they didn’t like it.
“Especially all of the Latinos and Latinas in the world here in the United States who have worked to open doors,” Bad Bunny said in Spanish during a monologue on “Saturday Night Live.”
“It’s more than a win for myself; it’s a win for all of us. Our footprints and our contribution in this country, no one will ever be able to take that away or erase it.”
The singer then switched to English, saying, “If you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn.”
There have been calls to boycott the NFL and replace Bad Bunny as the halftime performer ever since the announcement was made.

Taylor Swift’s new album is predictably at the top of the charts, but some of her most devoted fans are not pleased with her departure into what’s been described as the “trad life.”
“Taylor Swift is handing the conservative agenda on a silver platter to the masses,” TikTok influencer Liittle Debbie said in a lengthy <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@beysus.christ/video/7557367237150035231" target="_blank" rel="noopener">critique</a> of Swift’s newest and much-hyped album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
“You cannot convince me that the master lyricist of our generation, akin to Shakespeare, that the Easter egg master of our generation, is not aware of what her entire optics and lyrics and album and everything is giving at this very moment,” she added.
In her viral video, the influencer insists the album is not “satirical,” as some desperate Swifties have suggested as a way to explain away Swift’s apparent turn from feminist hero to suburban romantic.
For her part, Swift has described the project as a labor of love.
“We knew that we had to bring the best ideas that we ever had,” she said during her appearance on the “New Heights” podcast, hosted by her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason. “I also know the pressure that I’m putting on this record by saying that, but I don’t care because I love it that much.”
“This is the record that I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time,” the pop star added.
To some fans, that statement was practically an admission of betrayal. Liittle Debbie accuses Swift of “aligning” her brand with the NFL, “one of the most racist and problematic industries in our country,” she adds, and of “creeping [her] way down the conservative pipeline.”
The proof, in her view, lies in Swift’s high-profile engagement to Kelce.
“She’s aligning herself with him,” the influencer argues, incredulous that the same conservative commentators who once derided Swift as a “childless cat lady” have also celebrated her engagement. To her, this represents a horrifying shift from Swift being a girlboss to a white picket fence proponent.
The TikTok creator points to some of the lyrics in “The Life of a Showgirl” as proof.
In the song “Eldest Daughter,” Swift admits, “When I said I don’t believe in marriage, that was a lie.”
The lyrics to Swift’s new track “Wi$h Li$t” only pour more gasoline on the fire of outrage:

Longtime Swifties know the singer has been a hopeless romantic for most of her career, and that singing about fairytales and daydreams of being rescued by a knight in shining armor have featured in tracks spanning her entire catalog of music.
In “Starlight” (2012), the singer fantasized about running off, getting married, and having lots of children. “We’ll have 10 kids and teach them how to dream,” Swift sang.
Perhaps this latest album feels more urgent, not just because conservatives are finally back in charge of the government, but also because Swift is closer to that kid-filled happy ending than ever before. After a string of bad relationships, she’s now engaged to a man who is clearly smitten. Her engagement photo announcement was incredibly traditional. This album, coupled with the much-maligned “optics,” likely signals the end of Swift’s girlboss cat lady days.
Her fans, who had bought into embracing eternal singlehood, feel betrayed.
But there are some supporters arguing that Swift’s seeming to head down the trad wife road doesn’t prove she’s an anti-feminist, because true feminism was always about having the choice. The NFL is facing major criticism following its announcement that artist Bad Bunny will perform at the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show.
Critics are pointing out that the decision appears political as Bad Bunny, who hails from Puerto Rico, has refused to perform in the United States due to his disagreement with immigration enforcement and has openly denigrated Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, calling them “motherf***ers” and “sons of bitches” in a <a href="https://x.com/MillyMendezpr/status/1935082845803839745">video</a> he posted to Instagram in June.
The three-time Grammy Award winner said during an <a href="https://i-d.co/article/bad-bunny-puerto-rico-residency-issue-375-cover/">interview</a> earlier this month that he didn’t book any tour stops in the United States because he was worried ICE agents would target concert attendees.
“&#8230;There was the issue of — like, f***ing ICE could be outside (my concert). And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”
The singer, whose real name is Benito Ocasio, released a <a href="https://media.nfl.com/news-and-releases/music-entertainment/global-sensation-bad-bunny-to-perform-at-apple-music-super-bowl-">statement</a> Sunday about performing at the Super Bowl. 
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history,” he said. 
Roc Nation will produce the show in conjunction with Apple Music. Company chairman Jay-Z said in a statement, “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage.”
The move is being interpreted as a political statement because Ocasio has been outspoken in his political beliefs. He endorsed Kamala Harris ahead of the 2024 election. 
Bad Bunny also supports the blurring of gender roles. “What defines a man, what defines being masculine, what defines being feminine?” he <a href="https://www.gq.com/story/bad-bunny-june-cover-profile">said</a> in a 2022 interview with GQ. “To me, a dress is a dress.” The Left celebrates the singer for wearing makeup and dresses as a way to protest against traditional masculinity.
On July 4, the singer released a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU5V5WZVcVE">music video</a> for his song, “NUEVAYoL,” which included a voice meant to sound like President Trump apologizing for his crackdown on illegal immigration. 
“I want to apologize to the immigrants in America. I mean the United States. I know America is the whole continent,” the faux Trump voice says. “This country is nothing without the immigrants.”
This, along with other factors, led to an avalanche of backlash on social media. 
Conservative activist Robby Starbuck noted how most of Bad Bunny’s songs aren’t even in English. “This is not a pick designed to unite football fans or let people just enjoy the show. It was a pick designed to divide fans, and no doubt Bad Bunny will find some way to push a woke message,” he shared on X.
