<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sharon-stone">Sharon Stone</a> said America is in its “adolescence” phase following President-elect Donald Trump’s victory, labeling Americans both “ignorant and arrogant.”
Speaking at a <a href="https://www.mediaite.com/entertainment/sharon-stone-rips-trump-win-uneducated-americans-in-blistering-rant-on-violence-against-women/">press conference</a> at the Torino Film Festival in Turin, Italy, the 66-year-old actress was asked about violence against women, and made a less-than-subtle remark at those who voted for Trump, whom the Left labeled a “fascist” during the 2024 election.
“This question about the question of violence against women is– is a big one. And I think we have to really stop and think about things,” <a href="https://x.com/CollinRugg/status/1861493982376686034">Stone said</a>. “And we have to stop and think about who we choose for government. And if, in fact, we are actually choosing our government or if the government is choosing itself.”
“You know, Italy has seen fascism. Italy has seen these things,” she added. “You guys. You understand what happens. … My country is in its adolescence. Adolescence is very arrogant.”

“Adolescence thinks it knows everything,” the actress continued. “Adolescence is naive and ignorant and arrogant. And we are in our ignorant, arrogant adolescence. We haven’t seen this before in our country. So Americans who don’t travel, who 80% don’t have a passport, who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naïveté.”
Later at another press conference, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/alec-baldwin">Alec Baldwin</a> was asked about the “Basic Instinct” star’s comments and appeared to double-down on labeling Americans “uninformed,” as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/alec-baldwin-americans-are-very-uninformed-about-reality">reported</a>.

“Television news in the United States is a business. They have to make money,” Baldwin said during his speech, per <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/alec-baldwin-turin-film-festival-rust-shooting-americans-know-nothing-1236070459/">The Hollywood Reporter</a>. &#8220;There’s a hole, there’s a vacuum. There is a gap, if you will, in information for Americans. Americans are very uninformed about reality, what’s really going on — climate change, Ukraine, Israel — you name it. The biggest topics in the world, Americans have an appetite for a little bit of information.”
“That vacuum is filled by the film industry. Not just the independent film industry, not just the documentary film industry … but by narrative films as well,” he added, before reacting to the incoming Trump administration, without mentioning the president-elect by name.
“There are many challenges to face,” the actor said. “The environment, the problem of plastic, of permafrost: There are plastic molecules in every corner of the planet. These are the real problems to solve.”

Actress <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sharon-stone">Sharon Stone</a> said she was left completely broke after having a stroke in 2001 because people &#8220;took advantage&#8221; of her.
The 66-year-old “Basic Instinct” star told The Hollywood Reporter during an <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/sharon-stone-interview-career-philanthropy-kevin-spacey-1235940795/">interview</a> published Monday that all of the millions she had in savings disappeared following the medical emergency and her lengthy recovery.
“&#8230;People took advantage of me during that time. I had $18 million saved because of all my success, but when I got back into my bank account, it was all gone. My refrigerator, my phone — everything was in other people’s names,” Stone told the outlet.
“I had zero money,” she added. 
The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment">actress</a> also discussed how the stroke altered her entire outlook on life. 
“A Buddhist monk told me that I had been reincarnated into my same body,” Stone explained. “I had a death experience and then they brought me back. I bled into my brain for nine days, so my brain was shoved to the front of my face. It wasn’t positioned in my head where it was before.”
She continued, “And while that was happening, everything changed. My sense of smell, my sight, my touch. I couldn’t read for a couple of years. Things were stretched and I was seeing color patterns. A lot of people thought I was going to die.”
The interviewer asked Stone how she managed to survive such an extreme medical event and the subsequent loss of trust in the people around her.
“I decided to stay present and let go,” she explained. “I decided not to hang onto being sick or to any bitterness or anger. If you bite into the seed of bitterness, it never leaves you. But if you hold faith, even if that faith is the size of a mustard seed, you will survive. So, I live for joy now. I live for purpose.”
The stroke occurred when Stone was 43. The Academy Award nominee noticed her body felt numb, and there was a “terrible pain” in her head. She was diagnosed with a brain bleed and given a 1% chance of survival at the time, <a href="https://nypost.com/2021/03/29/sharon-stone-reveals-child-sex-abuse-stroke-in-new-memoir/">per</a> The New York Post.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sharon-stone">Sharon Stone</a> and Liam Neeson are upset that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kevin-spacey">Kevin Spacey</a> was canceled in the Hollywood community.
After multiple men came forward and accused the actor of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sexual-abuse">sexual abuse</a> at the height of the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/metoo">#MeToo</a> movement in 2017, Spacey was removed from projects and hasn’t been cast in many roles since. Spacey has claimed his innocence all along. Actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of sexually assaulting him as a minor but ultimately lost his lawsuit in 2022. Spacey was acquitted of further sexual abuse charges in 2023.
Stone and Neeson both spoke to <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/05/15/kevin-spacey-return-to-acting-sharon-stone-liam-neeson/">The Telegraph</a> and said winning those court cases meant he should be offered major roles again.
“I can’t wait to see Kevin back at work,” Stone told the outlet. “He is a genius. He is so elegant and fun, generous to a fault and knows more about our craft than most of us ever will.”
Stone also suggested that some of Spacey’s accusers may have “secret agendas.”
“Taken” star Neeson agreed with Stone’s assessment, saying Hollywood “needs” and “misses” Spacey.
“I was deeply saddened to learn of these accusations against him. Kevin is a good man and a man of character. He’s sensitive, articulate and non-judgmental, with a terrific sense of humor,” the actor said. “He is also one of our finest artists in the theater and on camera. Personally speaking, our industry needs him and misses him greatly.”
Most recently, Spacey spoke out against an upcoming British documentary called “Spacey Unmasked,” which is expected to detail past and additional sexual misconduct allegations.

But I cannot and will not take responsibility or apologize to anyone who&#8217;s made up stuff about me or exaggerated stories about me,&#8221; the two-time Academy Award winner said in an interview with former GB News presenter Dan Wootton.
&#8220;That may not have been the best decision and it&#8217;s not one that I would do today. But it happened,&#8221; Spacey said. &#8220;It wasn&#8217;t illegal, and nor has it ever been alleged to have been illegal.&#8221;
The &#8220;House of Cards&#8221; star said during the Wootten interview that he was suspicious of the timing of the documentary, noting how it’s coming at a time when he’s just starting to be offered roles in small, independent projects. 
“Despite the challenges and the difficulties and the pain and the bad days, I’ve also witnessed the most beautiful demonstrations of friendship and love and family,” the actor said.

Comedian <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/comedian">Dana Carvey</a> addressed a racy skit he did on “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/saturday-night-live">Saturday Night Live</a>” with <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sharon-stone">Sharon Stone</a> back in 1992, saying that type of content would never be allowed today.
The “SNL” alum discussed the “Airport Security Sketch” during a recent episode of the “Fly on the Wall With Dana Carvey and David Spade” podcast featuring Stone as a guest, per <a href="https://deadline.com/2024/03/dana-carvey-apologizes-saturday-night-live-sketch-undressed-sharon-stone-1235865481/">Deadline</a>. Spade called it “so offensive.”
Carvey told Stone she was “such a good sport” about the skit. The 68-year-old comedian also mused about how the content would not be well-received in today’s politically correct climate. “We would be literally arrested now,” he said.
In the skit, Carvey played an Indian airport security guard who encourages Stone to take off various items of clothing as she passes through the metal detector. When she stops setting off the alarm for real, he, Kevin Nealon, and Rob Schneider make the beeping noises themselves to encourage her to keep undressing.
When Chris Farley sets off the alarm, they let him go through the metal detector without checking him at all.
The sketch ends with Carvey taking photos of Stone for what he calls &#8220;security reasons.&#8221; Then the men all run off after hearing an announcement that Cindy Crawford is boarding at another gate.

“When I was doing the Indian character… there was no malice in it,” Carvey added. “It was really me rhythmically trying to get laughs. So I just want to say that watching it — comedy needs a straight person and you were perfect in it. You were completely sincere and you made us funny.”

Actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">Billy Baldwin</a> hit back at <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sharon-stone">Sharon Stone</a> after she claimed a legendary Hollywood studio executive suggested they have sex in real life to promote on-screen chemistry.
Stone made the <a href="https://open.spotify.com/episode/0KgbPjxChjt70tW9ijHPYL">remarks</a> during a recent appearance on “The Louis Theroux Podcast.” The “Total Recall” star said former Paramount Pictures head Robert Evans, who died in 2019, made the suggestion while filming the thriller “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/movies">Sliver</a>” (1993).
“[Evans is] running around his office in sunglasses explaining that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because [then] his performance would get better,” Stone said.
She continued, “If I could sleep with Billy, then we’d have chemistry on screen and save the movie. The real problem was me because I was so uptight, and not like a real actress who could just f*** him and get things back on track. The real problem was I was such a tightarse.”
Stone went on to compare the situation to her chemistry with her “Basic Instinct” co-star.
“I didn’t have to f*** Michael Douglas. Michael could come to work and know how to hit those marks, and do that line, and rehearse and show up,” she continued. “Now all of a sudden I’m in the ‘I have to f*** people’ business.”
Stone had mentioned the story previously in her memoir but didn’t specify who she was talking about.

She had been acting for a decade before that and it was her 18th film.
&#8220;It&#8217;s very expensive to be famous,&#8221; Stone said, noting having to buy a more secure home away from the mob of fans and media at the time, staff, publicist, security, managers, and it all added up.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sharon-stone">Sharon Stone</a> said during a Thursday speech that she has lost a considerable amount of money amid the fallout from the collapse of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/silicon-valley-bank">Silicon Valley Bank</a>.
The 65-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment">actress</a> made the comment while accepting the Courage Award at the Women’s Cancer Research Fund’s (WCRF) An Unforgettable Evening fundraiser. 
While trying to convince attendees to donate more money, Stone said, “I know that thing that you have to get on and figure out how to text the money is difficult. I’m a technical idiot, but I can write a f***ing check. And right now, that’s courage too, because I know what’s happening. I just lost half my money to this banking thing, and that doesn’t mean that I’m not here,” she continued. 
It was unclear what losses Stone was referring to. The federal government has said all depositors in the two collapsed lenders, Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, will be fully insured. But investors in bank stocks have suffered huge losses as shares have been pummeled.

Stone didn’t cite SVB by name, but her remarks coincided with the drama that’s been playing out across the financial sector all week. SVB Financial Group, the parent company of Silicon Valley Bank, announced Friday in a press release that it had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/silicon-valley-banks-parent-company-files-for-bankruptcy">reported</a>.
The “Basic Instinct” actress also spoke candidly about her experience with breast cancer and her brother Patrick’s recent death.
The actress said people who have seen her reconstructed breasts following surgery “don’t even know it.”
“So don’t ever feel compelled not to get a mammogram, not to get a blood test, not to get surgery, because it doesn’t matter. I’m standing here telling you I had one-and-a-half and more tissue of my breasts removed and none of you knew it,” she said.
Stone also stressed the importance of showing up during difficult times. She mentioned her younger brother’s death in February and said she’s still showing up to events despite the tragedy. 
&#8220;This is a hard time in the world, but I’m telling you what, I’m not having some politician tell me what I can and cannot do. How I can and cannot live, and what the value of my life is and is not. So stand up. Stand up and say what you’re worth. I dare you. That’s what courage is,” she concluded.

The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sharon-stone">64-year-old</a> actress spoke to <a href="https://en.vogue.me/beauty/sharon-stone-aging-botox-filler-cosmetic-procedures-stroke-brain-hemorrhage-interview-september-2022/">Vogue Arabia</a> about her experiences with face fillers, revealing that she was once dating a younger man who had no interest in her after she revealed she wanted nothing to do with Botox after suffering a health complication from it.
&#8220;There were periods in the super fame when I got Botox and filler and stuff, and then I had this massive stroke and a nine-day brain hemorrhage and I had to have over 300 shots of Botox and filler to make the one side of my face come up again,&#8221; Stone explained.

When the man she was dating asked her if she used Botox, she had quite the response.

The “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/movies">Basic Instinct</a>” star added the caption “Gratefully Imperfect on a Perfect Day” and then shared the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/nudity">bikini pic</a> with her 3.2 million followers. In it, Stone is laughing and standing with a towel draped around her neck to cleverly cover parts of her top half. 
Most of her followers heaped praise on the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">Emmy Award winner</a>, including some other famous faces.
“Legend!” said “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Lisa Rinna, 59.
“And like a goddess, she laughs at the mortals,” model Paulina Porizkova, 57, agreed.
Joely Fisher, 54, replied, “Haute” with a fire emoji, while comedian Whitney Cummings, 39, called Stone an “I C O N.”
Fans were equally delighted to see the “Total Recall” alum strip down to almost nothing.

Stone sees no problem with nudity on her terms, but she claimed in her memoir “The Beauty of Living Twice” that the infamous leg-crossing scene in “Basic Instinct” which exposed her private parts was done against her will.
“That was how I saw my vagina-shot for the first time, long after I’d been told, ‘We can’t see anything — I just need you to remove your panties, as the white is reflecting the light, so we know you have panties on,’” she wrote in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/sharon-stone-failed-to-stop-xxx-release-of-basic-instinct-claims-she-was-misled-into-explicit-nudity">the memoir</a>. “Yes, there have been many points of view on this topic, but since I’m the one with the vagina in question, let me say: The other points of view are bulls**t.”
“Now, here is the issue,” Stone continued. “It didn’t matter anymore. It was me and my parts up there. I had decisions to make. I went to the projection booth, slapped [director] Paul [Verhoeven] across the face, left, went to my car, and called my lawyer, Marty Singer.”

<a class="editor-rtfLink" href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sharon-stone" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sharon Stone</a> recently shared that she experienced nine miscarriages, then proceeded to conflate her experience with “violently oppressive” ideology, seemingly referencing the recent overturning of <a class="editor-rtfLink" href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/abortion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roe v. Wade</a>.
The Emmy Award-winning actress posted her personal story in response to a People article about Petra Murgatroyd going public with her own miscarriage. 
“We, as females don’t have a forum to discuss the profundity of this loss. I lost nine children by miscarriage. It is no small thing, physically nor emotionally yet we are made to feel it is something to bear alone and secretly with some kind of sense of failure,” Stone wrote in an Instagram <a class="editor-rtfLink" href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CfERs7zu21X/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">comment</a>.
“Instead of receiving the much needed compassion and empathy and healing which we so need. Female health and wellness left to the care of the male ideology has become lax at best, ignorant in fact, and violently oppressive in effort,” she continued.
Stone is one of many celebrities opening up about miscarriage and hoping to reduce the stigma associated with that experience. Recently, Britney Spears posted about losing a baby in the early stages of pregnancy. 
“‘It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,’” she and then-fiance Sam Asghari <a class="editor-rtfLink" href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/britney-spears-announces-miscarriage-we-have-lost-our-miracle-baby" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a> in a post on social media. “‘This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along, however we were overly excited to share the good news.’”
Stone’s announcement was a little different, however, as it seemed to equate miscarriage with abortion. 
Stone had previously admitted to having a secret abortion at the age of 18. She told <a class="editor-rtfLink" href="https://people.com/health/sharon-stone-had-secret-abortion-age-18/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a>, “‘I was bleeding all over the place and far worse than I should have been, but this was a secret and I had no one to tell,’” she said. “‘So I stayed in my room and bled for days. I was weak and scared and then just weak.’”
She said later that she burned her bloody clothes and sheets in a barrel and went back to her college classes. Stone also sang praises of her local Planned Parenthood, saying, “‘This, above all else, saved me: that someone, anyone, could talk to me, educate me,’” she wrote. “‘No one ever had, about anything.’”

“I’m an infectious disease worker who has won the Nobel Peace Summit Award for my work with infectious disease, Harvard awards … you know, these kind of things,&#8221; Stone <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2022/02/01/sharon-stone-joe-rogan-spotify-covid-policy-misinformation/">boasted</a> to TMZ on Monday. &#8220;And I worked with Dr. [Anthony] Fauci for decades.” 
“And I just wanna say, COVID is not an opinion-based situation,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;And Mr. Rogan thinks that his ‘opinion’ or disclaimer for the lives he personally has affected and caused losses of — it’s not an opinion.” 
“Mr. Rogan is risking people’s lives with his idiocy and his professing that his thoughts about COVID are opinion,&#8221; the &#8220;Casino&#8221; actress said. &#8220;They aren’t opinions. COVID, infectious diseases are science and they are fact-based situations. So, to the pretense that these are opinions is dangerous, and his behavior is dangerous.&#8221;

Later in the interview, Stone said her opinion is based on experience, while suggesting Rogan&#8217;s podcast guests lack in the area. &#8220;I don&#8217;t know how many of these people&#8217;s opinions come with fact-based experience,&#8221; she said.

Months ago, Stone came out <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/sharon-stone-cancel-culture-is-the-stupidest-thing-i-have-ever-seen-happen">swinging against cancel culture</a>, noting of people’s diverse backgrounds and advising them to “grow up” and employ some “empathy.”
“I think cancel culture is the stupidest thing I have ever seen happen,” Stone bluntly said during a radio interview, Fox News <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/sharon-stone-cancel-culture">reported</a> in March.
“I think when people say things that they feel and mean, and it’s offensive to you, it’s a brilliant opportunity for everyone to learn and grow and understand each other,” she continued.
