Three disabled homeless individuals accused a Southern California city of violating their constitutional rights after authorities ordered them to vacate city parks where they were living and allegedly destroyed their personal property in the process.
Lenka John, James Tyson, and Noel Harner filed a lawsuit on August 2 against the City of San Bernardino, alleging that it violated their constitutional rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act, <a href="https://www.omm.com/our-firm/media-center/in-the-news/san-bernardino-sun-violated-rights-of-homeless-residents-living-in-parks-claim-alleges/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to attorneys. The lawsuit alleges city officials destroyed the individual&#8217;s essential items, including medications and mobility devices.
John, 55, <a href="https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2023-08-18/watching-from-a-wheelchair-as-crucial-items-are-trashed-unhoused-people-sue-california-cities" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> The Los Angeles Times city employees tossed her medical records, heart monitor, walker, and disability assistance paperwork into a trash truck.
&#8220;I felt violated,&#8221; she said.
John and Tyson were staying at Meadowbrook Park at the time of the city order, while Harner lived at Perris Hill Park in San Bernardino, according to the lawsuit reported by Fox News. In addition to alleging the suit argues the city violated the Americans With Disabilities Act, the plaintiffs claim their &#8220;Fourth, Fifth, and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution in destroying John&#8217;s property without reasonable warning, justification, or accommodation,&#8221; the outlet reported.
City officials had announced in May that the public spaces would close temporarily for maintenance. Before the park closed, the Los Angeles Times reported at least 15 disabled homeless individuals requested assistance to move their belongings during the relocation process. But the lawsuit argues most of those submissions went unanswered by the city.
“Not only did the city not accommodate people, but they didn’t even respond to those requests,” said Kath Rogers, a staff attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California representing the plaintiffs, told the outlet.
In additon to the ACLU Foundation of Southern California, the plaintiffs are represented by O&#8217;Melveny and the Santa Ana&#8217;s Elder Law and Disability Rights Center, which the city spokesman said were invited to discuss solutions but filed a lawsuit against San Bernardino instead.
&#8220;The City of San Bernardino has an obligation to ensure that its public parks are available and maintained for everyone to freely and safely use,&#8221; city spokesman Jeff Kraus <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/homeless-residents-sue-california-city-being-evicted-park-trashing-belongings-lawsuit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> Fox News in a statement. &#8220;When maintenance requires park closures, notices are provided, and services are offered to the unhoused who are impacted.&#8221;
&#8220;The City and its hard-working staff members look forward to proving that they do their jobs responsibly, legally and with care for the disabled and unhoused,&#8221; he said.
The individuals suing the city are just three out of over 1,000 homeless people living in the city of San Bernardino, according to the county&#8217;s <a href="https://www.sbcounty.gov/uploads/sbchp/content/SBC-2023-Homeless-Count-Report.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2023 Point-inTime Count and Survey</a>. Nearly 4,200 people in San Bernardino County live without shelter, showing an increase of approximately 26% since 2022, according to Fox News.
In June, Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/gavin-newsom-admits-california-has-not-made-progress-on-its-homelessness-crisis" target="_blank" rel="noopener">admitted</a> during an interview that his state had not made any progress in fixing its homelessness crisis, despite throwing billions of dollars at the problem.
According to federal and state data last year, a recent report from The Wall Street Journal said that California &#8220;accounts for 12% of the U.S. population, has about half of the nation&#8217;s unsheltered homeless, an estimated 115,000 people.&#8221;
&#8220;This state has not made progress in the last two decades as it relates to homelessness,&#8221; Newsom said during an interview with Fox News. &#8220;Because housing costs are too high, our regulatory thickets are too problematic, localism has been too impactful, meaning people locally are pushing back against new housing starts and construction.&#8221;
The homeless population in the U.S. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/u-s-homeless-population-sees-record-spike" target="_blank" rel="noopener">saw</a> its biggest spike on record this year, the latest indicator that the country is struggling to address a dire homelessness crisis.
The number of homeless people across the country spiked by about 11% this year, the largest jump in more than 15 years when the government first started tracking the data, according to The Wall Street Journal&#8217;s review of data from around the country.

Voters in San Bernardino County, California, narrowly approved a ballot measure last week allowing officials to explore options to possibly secede the fifth-most populous county from the Golden State.
Over the summer, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors advanced the secession measure to the ballot, resulting in about 50% of voters supporting the idea, according to unofficial election results from the county&#8217;s <a href="https://results.rov.sbcounty.gov/Results/20221108/#cont195">Registrar of Voters</a>.
<a href="https://rovuploads.sbcounty.gov/Elections/2022/1108/VIG-CMBEN.pdf">San Bernardino Voter Information Guide</a> asked county residents under Measure EE if officials should &#8220;study and advocate for all options to obtain the county&#8217;s fair share of state funding, including secession from the State of California.&#8221;
Jeff Burum, a local real state developer who first proposed the idea before it qualified for ballot placement, told <a href="https://www.sbsun.com/2022/11/09/san-bernardino-county-voters-support-fair-share-measure-and-maybe-secession/">local media</a> the term &#8220;secession&#8221; served more as a trigger word to spark intellectual debate on the issue and a final ultimatum to grab the resident&#8217;s attention.
&#8220;I&#8217;m embarrassed where we are in this country right now,&#8221; Burum said, according to the San Bernardino Sun. &#8220;Forty-nine percent of people voted against &#8216;fairness!'&#8221;
Burum said the term &#8220;fair share&#8221; might have confused voters as advocates for the study argue that it&#8217;s more about political and economic fairness for the largest county in the United States. San Bernardino County encompasses more than 20,000 square miles.
<a href="https://www.scribd.com/document/598623837/California-county-revenue-per-capita-comparison">Data</a> from the California State controller&#8217;s office ranked San Bernardino County 36th out of 56 counties in looking at how much counties get from the state and federal governments per capita. While Los Angeles County ranked slightly ahead at 28th, San Bernardino still receives more funding from the state and federal governments than wealthy districts like Sonoma (45th), Santa Barbara (52nd), and Orange (55th) Counties.
&#8220;Republicans thought it was a woke term,&#8221; Burum said. &#8220;The woke thought it was a wealthy developer doing it. Everyone had their reasons for voting against it.&#8221;
As extreme as a state divorce sounds, constitutional law governs provisions for a state to separate, join, or create a new form on its own, with a county, or a portion of another state, county officials said.
State or county officials would need approval from all state legislatures, followed by Congress and the Senate, and eventually require approval from the President of the United States before secession occurs.
However, if the county goes through the process, the supervisors expressed concerns about declaring independence from California, such as health and social services, funding for schools, and forming its own National Guard.
But considering San Bernardino County holds a population of 2.1 million people, more than 14 other states in the Union, the statistic caught the supervisors&#8217; curiosity about how the county could operate as an economy apart from California.
Curt Hagman, chairman of the Board of Supervisors, told <a href="https://www.sbsun.com/2022/11/09/san-bernardino-county-voters-support-fair-share-measure-and-maybe-secession/">local media</a> that county officials would explore what the steps would look like once officials have certified the election results.
&#8220;We&#8217;re going to take one step at a time and dig into the budgets and compare ourselves to other counties,&#8221; Hagman said.
He added the measure piqued the interest of neighboring counties that &#8220;would like some of the same information.&#8221;
&#8220;So this may be a multi-county effort,&#8221; Hagman said.
Paul Preston, founder of <a href="https://www.facebook.com/NewCaliforniaStateCCR/about/?ref=page_internal">New California State</a>, a group attempting to separate and free themselves &#8220;from the tyranny and lawlessness of California,&#8221; told <a href="https://www.sbsun.com/2022/10/10/what-voters-need-to-know-about-san-bernardino-countys-secession-measure/">local media</a> that Burum and supporters of the measure aren&#8217;t alone in wanting to secede.
&#8220;The public does want to separate from Sacramento,&#8221; Preston said. &#8220;There&#8217;s no question about that — that&#8217;s statewide.&#8221;
If the county successfully secedes from California, Burum suggested naming the new state &#8220;Empire,&#8221; which would be the first new state since Hawaii joined the United States in 1959.
&#8220;I&#8217;m pretty sure that a majority of counties in California are unhappy with how they&#8217;re being governed,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I think Sacramento&#8217;s going to have a wakeup call.&#8221;
According to the <a href="https://www.library.ca.gov/collections/online-exhibits/splitting-ca/">California State Library</a>, state residents made at least 220 attempts to break up California when it became a state in 1850.

Last week, narcotics officials <a href="https://ktla.com/news/local-news/deputies-seize-20000-fentanyl-pills-in-san-bernardino-county-as-health-department-issues-warning/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stopped</a> a vehicle due to non-specific code violations, according to the San Bernardino Police Department. The three individuals in the car were reportedly taken into police custody with no issues. The authorities looked through the vehicle and discovered the drugs — 20,000 fentanyl pills, as well as half of an ounce of cocaine. A loaded gun was also in the car, as well as over $1,200. The three individuals were arrested and could be charged with felonies.
On Monday, San Bernardino Health authorities spoke to the rising issue of fentanyl as there has been a spike in overdose deaths in San Bernardino County. The county’s public health officer put forward a health advisory about the situation.
The advisory <a href="https://wp.sbcounty.gov/dph/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2022/10/2022-10-17-County-addresses-surge-of-fentanyl-overdoses-and-deaths-REVISED.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">noted</a> that there were 30 fentanyl overdose deaths in the county in 2018, but the figure has gone up to 74 in 2019, and increased to 227 in 2020. In 2021, there were 309 fentanyl overdose fatalities.
“Deaths related to opioid use, such as fentanyl, are completely preventable,” the health officer, Dr. Michael Sequeira, <a href="https://www.vvdailypress.com/story/news/2022/10/18/san-bernardino-county-health-officials-address-surge-opioid-deaths-overdoses-rainbow-fentanyl/10528068002/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. “Efforts to reduce the effects of opioid overdose and death are a top priority for San Bernardino County.”
The advisory explained that fentanyl is “50 to 100 times stronger than morphine and is responsible for more overdose deaths than any other illegal drug in the United States.” Dr. Sequeira also pointed out that “rainbow fentanyl” has become more prevalent, which can be fatal and could attract more youth.
This summer, the Drug Enforcement Agency also released a warning over rainbow fentanyl, telling Americans the dangers of the drug that looks like sidewalk chalk.
“Rainbow fentanyl—fentanyl pills and powder that come in a variety of bright colors, shapes, and sizes—is a deliberate effort by drug traffickers to drive addiction amongst kids and young adults,” DEA Administrator Anne Milgram <a href="https://www.dea.gov/press-releases/2022/08/30/dea-warns-brightly-colored-fentanyl-used-target-young-americans" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> at the time. “The men and women of the DEA are relentlessly working to stop the trafficking of rainbow fentanyl and defeat the Mexican drug cartels that are responsible for the vast majority of the fentanyl that is being trafficked in the United States.”
Fentanyl continues to be a rising crisis in California and across the country. California Attorney General Rob Bonta recently <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/california-ag-discusses-fentanyl-crisis-in-press-release-with-no-mention-of-border-crisis" target="_blank" rel="noopener">addressed</a> the fentanyl crisis, discussing actions his office is taking to combat the problem. However, in a press release, Bonta did not discuss the rise of illegal immigration as a potential reason for the surge, even though fentanyl has been seized in bulk at California’s border.

The San Clemente, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/california">California</a>, city council called a special meeting Saturday and voted 3-1 to remove a resolution that would have made the city a “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/california-city-to-consider-resolution-banning-abortions-making-city-a-sanctuary-for-life">sanctuary for life</a>,” following opposition from council members and the community.
The three-hour special meeting Saturday increased tensions between dozens of San Clemente residents and the city council, resulting in a vote to slash the pro-life resolution from the agenda of an upcoming meeting, <a href="https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2022-08-07/san-clemente-council-votes-on-abortion-ban">according</a> to the Los Angeles Times. All but one of the city’s five council members are Republicans.
Councilman Steve Knoblock wrote and proposed the resolution that recognized life beginning at conception and stood “firmly against” Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics having a presence in the city of nearly 65,000 people. The resolution met immediate backlash from abortion rights supporters in the city and even from the Republican mayor, Gene James, who initially seconded the motion to draft the resolution.
“I’m pro-life, I won’t apologize for that, I can’t apologize for that,” James <a href="https://voiceofoc.org/2022/08/san-clemente-city-council-backs-off-abortion-ban-following-public-backlash/">said</a>, according to the Voice of OC. “There are different shades of pro choice, and there are different shades of pro life. If that document created by Mr. Knoblock is the litmus test for being pro life, I am not pro life.”
James previously <a href="https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2022-08-03/san-clemente-to-consider-making-city-a-sanctuary-for-life-banning-abortions-within-city-limits">said</a> he was &#8220;appalled&#8221; after reading the draft of the resolution, claiming that it “could have been written by a Taliban tribunal.”
Andrea Schmidt, Planned Parenthood’s public affairs project manager for Orange and San Bernardino counties, also spoke out against the resolution, saying the proposal was “extremely dangerous.” She called the pro-life resolution “politically focused and scientifically inaccurate.”
In the two-page <a href="https://ca-times.brightspotcdn.com/20/8d/97a75f824d209ed3236f87286be3/san-clemente-sanctuary-for-life-resolution.pdf">resolution</a>, Knoblock references the Supreme Court’s recent <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/united-states-supreme-court-overturns-roe-v-wade-leaves-abortion-restrictions-to-states">overturning of Roe v. Wade</a>, and writes that it is the council’s duty to “honor and respect God” in regards to banning abortion.
“We believe that life is God-ordained and God is the author and finisher of every life. No matter if at the beginning or at the end. As a city council, we will protect and sustain life at every stage. As we ask God to bless America, we first have to honor and respect God,” the resolution reads.
Knoblock, the only council member who ended up voting to keep his resolution on the agenda, defended his position against accusations that it was too extreme.
“We need to value life, I know everyone doesn’t agree with that,” Knoblock said. “The suggestion we have a resolution of this kind is tantamount to a Taliban tribunal really surprised me. The Taliban kills innocent human beings. Abortion kills innocent human beings. So to put them together is interesting.”

One million registered voters in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/california">California&#8217;s</a> fifth most populous county have the chance in the midterm elections later this year to potentially secede from the state.
The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/san-bernardino">San Bernardino</a> County Board of Supervisors voted 4-0 on Wednesday, with one supervisor absent, to add the secession measure to the 2022 ballot in November.
The measure would ask San Bernardino residents: &#8220;Do the citizens of San Bernardino County want the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors to study all options to obtain its fair share of state and federal resources, up to and including secession?&#8221;
&#8220;The last line is the most controversial,&#8221; Curt Hagman, the county&#8217;s chair supervisor, said during the <a href="https://sanbernardino.granicus.com/player/clip/5855">meeting</a>.
While Hagman called the first portion of the question a &#8220;no-brainer,&#8221; assuming almost every resident would want to fight for state and federal resources for the county, he also recognized Californians have repeatedly attempted to split up the state as long as it&#8217;s existed.
David Wert, a county spokesperson, told <a href="https://apnews.com/article/california-san-bernardino-e09be5fe22b9c84dbbd6a013583ebe6e">the Associated Press</a> a finance team conducted a per-capita comparison of federal and state revenue received by California counties based on data from the state controller, which showed San Bernardino County ranks 36th out of 56 counties for per-capita revenue.
But given the current climate, which many residents up and down the Golden State have experienced recently, the supervisors said last week that “a lot&#8221; of speakers came forward to express their desire to either join Arizona, Nevada, or even form their own state.
&#8220;I was surprised by the idea, and I don&#8217;t believe it&#8217;s feasible politically or financially to secede from California,&#8221; Supervisor Janie Rutherford said. &#8220;However, I absolutely joined with my constituents who have a growing palpable anger about everything.&#8221;
Rutherford listed a catalog of California residents&#8217; daily issues, from high gas prices and burdensome taxes to the growing homelessness crisis flooding the streets.
She also noted the state&#8217;s &#8220;ineffective justice system, broken schools, [and] the state&#8217;s overreaching counterproductive regulatory schemes, housing and affordability to the ineptness of the state&#8217;s preparation for this drought.&#8221;
&#8220;People pay high taxes, and they do not believe those taxes are coming back to their neighborhoods to address the problems they&#8217;re most concerned about,&#8221; Rutherford said. &#8220;That&#8217;s what we heard from our public last week, and there is nothing crazy at all about being angry about those things.&#8221;
Resident Jose Gonzalez echoed the supervisor&#8217;s sentiments during the public comments, saying he doesn&#8217;t &#8220;like the way things are going here.&#8221;
&#8220;It feels like our money is not being used … and it&#8217;s not helping us,&#8221; Gonzalez said. &#8220;So, if it&#8217;s a better thing to separate from California — a liberal state — then it&#8217;s gonna be better cause that money is not coming to our city.&#8221;
&#8220;We got to do something about it,&#8221; he added.

Three emails newly published by WikiLeaks show the machinations of Clinton campaign officials as the they ramped up for the 2016 campaign.

On January 6, Broaddrick tweeted, &#8220;I was 35 years old when Bill Clinton, Ark. Attorney General raped me and Hillary tried to silence me. I am now 73&#8230;.it never goes away.&#8221;
That night, Podesta and David Kendall, a personal attorney for Bill and Hillary Clinton, discussed how to counter Broaddrick&#8217;s charges. The next day, Kendall forwarded Podesta documents showing that Broaddrick had denied the rape allegation under oath.
In an affidavit in a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by Paula Jones against Bill Clinton, Broaddrick indicated that she did not have &#8220;any information to offer regarding a non-consensual or unwelcome sexual advance by Mr. Clinton.&#8221; Another piece of evidence to be used against Broaddrick came from the report from the office of Independent Counsel, Ken Starr, who investigated Clinton. Given immunity by Starr for possible perjury charges, Broaddrick said she had not told the truth in her affidavit in the Jones case.
Kendall wrote Podesta: &#8220;Starr was seeking more evidence against the President, any way he could, and he immunized Broaddrick to protect her from any prosecution for perjury if she now changed her story. Voila! She did, disavowing her sworn affidavit and sworn deposition testimony.&#8221;

Using the San Bernardino Islamic terror attacks as part of their rationale, California lawmakers moved Tuesday to quietly strip away more gun rights from California residents in a package of 10 gun control bills aptly nicknamed &#8220;<a href="http://www.kcra.com/news/gun-control-advocates-score-key-victories-at-capitol/39114964">GunMeggedon</a>.&#8221;
Gun control advocates are specifically citing the San Bernardino massacre as an argument for some of the measures, particularly ones banning high-capacity magazines and closing the so-called &#8220;bullet button loophole,&#8221; which they claim allows people to get around the state&#8217;s assault rifle ban. 
Such laws are needed &#8220;[w]hen two radicalized assailants used those bullet button weapons to shoot 36 people in a San Bernardino community building in a span of less than four minutes,&#8221; <a href="http://www.kcra.com/news/gun-control-advocates-score-key-victories-at-capitol/39114964">said</a> Ari Freilich of the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence.
But critics argue that none of the additional gun control measures in the already heavily regulated state appear likely to actually reduce criminal activity. 
&#8220;Not one of the laws that are being pushed today makes Californians safer,&#8221; <a href="http://www.kcra.com/news/gun-control-advocates-score-key-victories-at-capitol/39114964">said</a> Firearms Policy Coalition&#8217;s Craig DeLuz. &#8220;All they do is put restrictions &#8212; in many cases very unreasonable restrictions &#8212; on law-abiding citizens.&#8221;

On Friday, President Obama will casually drop by Southern California and visit the families and friends of the victims slaughtered in the San Bernardino terrorist attack before heading off to a nearly two-week-long Christmas vacation in Hawaii. Obama will not be meeting with the survivors, raising disturbing questions about the moral optics of the spectacle. 
&#8220;It&#8217;s almost as like this is like an afterthought, that he&#8217;s flying on his way to vacation two weeks after the event,&#8221; San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman <a href="http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2015/12/17/president-obama-coming-to-san-bernardino-to-visit-families-of-the-14-killed-in-massacre-as-some-criticize-the-trip/">told</a> CBS Los Angeles. &#8220;I have several of my, of our, employees who got injured who expressed dissatisfaction that he didn&#8217;t come out and visit with them as well.

President Obama&#8217;s response time to Islamic terrorist attacks appears to lag far behind that of &#8220;shooting&#8221; massacres. Both in terms of tone and passion, Obama&#8217;s reaction to domestic attacks, especially when a white shooter is involved, diverges greatly from his reaction to terrorist mass slaughter, especially when the unspeakable culprit of Radical Islam is at fault. 
The Charleston shooting in June prompted Obama to urgently respond to the crisis, delivering speech after speech about tolerance and gun crime. He even gave a nearly hour-long <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2015/06/26/remarks-president-eulogy-honorable-reverend-clementa-pinckney">eulogy</a> at the local church, singing funeral hymns for the victims. The president took his time and met with survivors, families, friends, and even parishioners.

Obama Visits San Bernardino. What Took Him So Long?

Federal prosecutors will <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/18/us/san-bernardino-enrique-marquez-charges-justice-department.html">file charges</a> against Enrique Marquez, friend and neighbor of the Islamic terrorists who murdered 14 and injured 21 in San Bernardino. A convert to Islam, Marquez is suspected of having assisted Syed Farok and Tashfeen Malik in their mass murder operation for earlier this month.
Marquez purchased the two firearms used by the couple in their attack, as Farook <a href="http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-san-bernardino-marquez-20151217-story.html">feared</a> he could not pass a background check.
Confessing to investigators that he had been planning an attack with Farook in <a href="http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/san-bernardino-shooting/criminal-charges-be-brought-against-enrique-marquez-ex-neighbor-san-n481666">2010 and 2012</a>, Marquez said the two gave up on the plot after arrests in California of Islamic terrorists planning to murder Americans in Afghanistan .
Hours after the attack, Marquez posted the following message to his Facebook profile: &#8220;I&#8217;m. Very sorry guys. It was a pleasure.&#8221; he then checked himself into a mental hospital.
Federal investigators say Marquez has waived his Miranda rights, and is being cooperative with the investigation.
Converting to Islam several years ago, Marquez married a member of Farook&#8217;s extended family. A Russian emigre, Mariya Chernykhhe&#8217;s sister is married to Farook&#8217;s older brother. It appears that the marriage was insincere, a formality to obtain permanent residency for Chernykhe. Friends and neighbors did not observe the two interacting meaningfully with one another.
&#8220;He would never leave with her, come with her, not hug her,&#8221; said neighbor Brittani Adams. &#8220;The whole thing is very, very weird.&#8221;
Prior to the attack, Marquez was licensed as a security guard in California and <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/17/us/san-bernardino-shooting/">worked</a> in this capacity for Walmart.
President Barack Obama plans to <a href="http://abc7.com/news/enrique-marquez-syed-farooks-former-neighbor-likely-to-be-charged/1126144/">privately meet</a> with families of the victims in San Bernardino on Friday.

On Tuesday, the bodies of San Bernardino Islamic terrorists Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik were buried according to strict Islamic ritual. In fact, &#8220;the bodies were cleansed according to Islamic rules, wrapped in white cloth and buried,&#8221; reports <a href="https://ca.news.yahoo.com/exclusive-san-bernardino-shooters-buried-quiet-funeral-following-003855115.html">Reuters</a>. The ceremony was eerily quiet. 
The attendees included the Farook family and a few fellow mosque-goers that conducted the Islamic funeral prayer, Salat Al-Janazah. Most members of the community mosque refrained from participating in the event.
Although Islamic law dictates that Muslims must be buried within 24 hours of their death, family members here had to wait until law enforcement released the terrorists&#8217; bodies. 
Additionally, most cemeteries in the San Bernardino area refused to accept the bodies. Ultimately, Farook and Malik were buried at an Islamic cemetery several miles outside of San Bernardino.
The Farook family&#8217;s boisterous attorneys refused to comment on the funeral procession, respecting the wishes of the family. 

Farook&#8217;s father has been placed on the FBI&#8217;s watch list. The terrorists&#8217; mother is currently under investigation by federal enforcement under the suspicion that she may have known about, or even played a supporting role in the attack that left over a dozen people dead. 
The &#8220;martyred&#8221; bodies of the San Bernardino terrorists will contaminate the earth at an unspecified location for fear of retaliation and desecration.

They Buried The San Bernardino Terrorists. How They Did So Is Telling.

A 2011 Department of Homeland Security <a href="http://www.scribd.com/doc/293529513/Policy-Memorandum-Social-Networking-Site-Redacted">memo</a> released on Thursday revealed that the Obama Administration rejected a proposal to investigate social media profiles of visa applicants.
The memo states that publicly-viewable social media profiles are a potentially useful avenue of investigation to verify claims made by visa applicants. Officer of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services are advised to review social media accounts to combat &#8220;fraud,&#8221; &#8220;criminal activity,&#8221; and &#8220;national security concerns.&#8221;
A former senior DHS official provided MSNBC with the memo, in which it is stated that both DHS and USCIS block employee access to certain internet sites &#8211; particularly social networking sites &#8211; ostensibly to reduce staffers from &#8220;goofing off&#8221; on the job.
The memo recommends that certain DHS and USCIS employees be granted access to social media sites normally blocked at work sites for the purposes of vetting visa applications and petitions.
The memo was under consideration for a year, going through &#8220;layers of reviews,&#8221; before being ultimately dismissed.
Responding to MSNBC, DHS&#8217;s Press Secretary said, &#8220;The Department is actively considering additional ways to incorporate the use of social media review.&#8221;
Asked to provide the best argument in defense of this reckless policy, MSNBC&#8217;s Ari Melber relayed &#8220;concerns about privacy&#8221; and &#8220;civil liberties&#8221; he had heard from people involved with the policy-making process. Later, Melber acknowledged that Fourth Amendment protections <a href="http://www.nationalreview.com/article/428540/tashfeen-malik-social-media-ignored-dhs">do not apply</a> to non-residents seeking entry into the U.S.
