Sam <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sam-brinton" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brinton</a>, the disgraced Biden administration official who was arrested for stealing women’s luggage at multiple U.S. airports, snagged a cushy plea deal last week.
The former Department of Energy employee <a href="https://freebeacon.com/biden-administration/crossdressing-luggage-snatcher-and-ex-biden-official-sam-brinton-gets-sweetheart-plea-deal/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">will serve</a> no jail time after he pled guilty to misdemeanor petty larceny, downgraded from his felony grand larceny charges that carried a sentence of up to 20 years, the Washington Free Beacon <a href="https://freebeacon.com/biden-administration/crossdressing-luggage-snatcher-and-ex-biden-official-sam-brinton-gets-sweetheart-plea-deal/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
Back in 2022, Brinton, 37, who uses they/them pronouns, was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/disgraced-non-binary-biden-official-helped-create-school-policy-to-hide-childrens-gender-changes-from-parents" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fired</a> as deputy assistant secretary for the Office of Nuclear Energy and charged with stealing a woman’s Vera Bradley suitcase from the Minneapolis airport and another woman’s suitcase from the Las Vegas airport. The suitcases and their contents had a combined value of more than $9,000, according to <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/former-biden-official-sam-brintons-mug-shot-released-bail-set-15000" target="_blank" rel="noopener">police</a> and court <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-non-binary-nuclear-official-charged-stealing-womans-luggage-airport" target="_blank" rel="noopener">documents</a>.
Then, in May of last year, Brinton was <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/non-binary-ex-biden-official-sam-brinton-arrested-again-fugitive-justice" target="_blank" rel="noopener">arrested</a> a third time for stealing a Tanzanian fashion designer&#8217;s luggage with her custom designs, which he proceeded to wear himself at high-profile public events. That theft occurred at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
In all three cases, Brinton has escaped jail time.
The plea deal in the designer clothes case was quietly announced last week by prosecutors in Arlington General District Court.
Brinton is now required to undergo mental health treatment, write a letter of apology, and perform 50 hours of community service helping the elderly, per the terms of his plea deal.
The Tanzanian designer, Asya Khamsin, went public with her allegations against Brinton last year after seeing photographs in news articles of Brinton wearing her custom designer clothes.
“I saw the images. Those were my custom designs, which were lost in that bag in 2018,” she <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/police-find-female-designers-stolen-clothes-at-home-of-sam-brinton-non-binary-former-biden-official-report" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. “He wore my clothes, which was stolen.”
She said she had flown to Washington, D.C., for an event where her clothing was set to be on display, but when her designs went missing, she was not able to show them.
At one point, the fashion magazine Vanity Fair <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/vanity-fair-published-fashion-feature-on-sam-brinton-showcased-allegedly-stolen-dress?utm_campaign=news&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_content=na_feed_dailywire&amp;cid=news&amp;mid=&amp;xid=0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published</a> an article praising Brinton&#8217;s style, including some of Khamsin&#8217;s designs he was wearing.
Khamsin also sued Brinton and reached a settlement this week. In it, Brinton agreed to pay her an unknown amount of money and wrote her an apology letter.
&#8220;Mr. Brinton has apologized to Asya Khamsin, and Asya Khamsin has forgiven Mr. Brinton,&#8221; Khamsin&#8217;s attorney said. &#8220;Asya Khamsin has decided not to publish Mr. Brinton’s letter of apology, as she considers the letter to be quite personal, sensitive, sincere, and heartfelt.&#8221;
A follow-up hearing scheduled for June of next year will examine Brinton&#8217;s progress.
Brinton initially attracted attention for being one of the federal government’s first “non-binary” officials.

Police said they found women&#8217;s designer clothes allegedly stolen by former Biden official Sam Brinton while executing a search warrant at his home in May.
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department said Tuesday that law enforcement found and returned the clothes to their owner, Tanzanian fashion designer Asya Khamsin, who accused Brinton of wearing her designs in public. Khamsin reported her bag containing the clothing articles missing at Ronald Reagan National Airport in 2018.
&#8220;The MWAA Police Department can confirm we returned the victim’s property and police retained photos of the evidence for prosecution,&#8221; MWAA spokesperson Crystal Nosal <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/police-find-female-designers-stolen-clothes-ex-biden-official-sam-brintons-home" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> Fox News in a statement.
&#8220;The case is still under adjudication and we cannot release more detailed information,&#8221; the police spokesperson added.
In May, MWAA police officers executed a search warrant relating to the clothing case at Brinton&#8217;s Maryland home.
Brinton, a disgraced &#8220;non-binary&#8221; former Biden administration nuclear energy official, has been arrested multiple times for stealing women’s luggage at airports.
The 35-year-old, who uses they/them pronouns, attracted attention for being one of the federal government’s first &#8220;non-binary&#8221; officials, but he was fired in December from the Office of Nuclear Energy at the Department of Energy.
Brinton was also charged with stealing a woman’s Vera Bradley suitcase from a Minneapolis Airport in September last year and another woman’s suitcase from a Las Vegas airport in July last year. Those suitcases and their contents had a combined value of more than $9,000, according to <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/former-biden-official-sam-brintons-mug-shot-released-bail-set-15000" target="_blank" rel="noopener">police</a> and court <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-non-binary-nuclear-official-charged-stealing-womans-luggage-airport" target="_blank" rel="noopener">documents</a>.
Brinton escaped jail time in both of the previous luggage theft cases.
In the Minneapolis case, Brinton was <a href="https://www.fox9.com/news/fmr-doe-official-who-took-luggage-from-msp-enters-diversion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ordered</a> to undergo a mental health evaluation, write a letter of apology to the victim, return the stolen property, and perform three days of community service. In the Las Vegas case, Brinton <a href="https://www.fox9.com/news/fmr-doe-official-who-took-luggage-from-msp-enters-diversion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pled</a> no contest and was given a 180-day suspended sentence and ordered to pay $3,670 in restitution.
Brinton was <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/non-binary-ex-biden-official-sam-brinton-arrested-again-fugitive-justice" target="_blank" rel="noopener">arrested</a> a third time on May 17, the same day police searched his home, in connection with the designer clothes case. He was charged with felony grand larceny. The preliminary hearing in that case has been delayed until December.

Khamsin, the designer, went public with her allegations against Brinton earlier this year, saying she saw photographs in news articles of Brinton wearing her custom designer clothes.

However, when she saw the photographs of Brinton wearing her designs, Khamsin filed a police report in Houston, where she lives with her husband. Houston police <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/houston-police-refer-investigation-ex-biden-staffer-sam-brinton-alleged-airport-luggage-theft-fbi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> they referred the case to the FBI.
Khamsin filed a civil lawsuit against Brinton on Friday.

Former “non-binary” Biden Energy Department official Sam Brinton rolled off with a woman’s suitcase from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas last year while on a taxpayer-funded trip, according to a federal watchdog group.
Brinton, who President Joe Biden tapped to serve as the deputy assistant secretary of the Office of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the U.S. Department of Energy, was fired six months later amid allegations of stealing luggage and women’s clothing from at least three different airports.
But during one of Brinton’s luggage heists, the federal watchdog Functional Government Initiative (FGI) report provided to <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/07/17/non-binary-ex-biden-official-sam-brinton-was-on-secret-taxpayer-funded-trip-at-time-of-luggage-theft/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The New York Post</a> found that he was in Vegas on business representing the Energy Department when airport surveillance captured images of him swiping a woman’s suitcase.
“Not only did Sam Brinton commit a crime, the illegal shopping spree was funded by taxpayers,” Pete McGinnis, FGI’s director of communications, told The Post. “The pattern of petty theft shows that Brinton never should’ve been hired and given a security clearance in the first place.”
According to the report, Brinton’s business trip occurred from July 6 through July 9, 2022. It included a “meeting and site visit to DOE Las Vegas Site.” The four-day trip cost taxpayers $1,951.50, records show.
The documentation also revealed that Brinton stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club located on the Las Vegas Strip.
Authorities initially charged Brinton with a felony based on the belief he stole $3,670 worth of items. However, the former Biden official agreed to pay the victim more than $3,500 in restitution and received a suspended 180-day jail sentence under the assumption Brinton would obey the law.
Brinton pleaded “no contest” to the misdemeanor theft.
Brinton, who has dressed in drag and boasted online about his puppy role-play fetish, first came under fire in December 2022 for allegedly stealing a woman’s luggage in Minneapolis.
Authorities charged Brinton with stealing luggage at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, where he allegedly removed a tag from a navy blue Vera Bradley suitcase bag, dropped it into his handbag, and “then left the area at a quick pace” on September 16, 2022, according to a criminal complaint.

And earlier this year, authorities <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ex-biden-non-binary-nuclear-official-sam-brinton-to-be-placed-in-mens-jail-over-luggage-theft-charges-report" target="_blank" rel="noopener">arrested</a> Brinton at a house in Rockville, Maryland, as a “fugitive from justice” for allegedly stealing luggage belonging to Tanzanian fashion designer Asya Khamsin.
Khamsin previously appeared on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” in March, saying that her luggage had been stolen from Reagan National Airport in 2018 on the way to a fashion show, causing catastrophe because she could not show her designs.
Brinton was later pictured wearing one of her one-of-a-kind designs that had been in the suitcase, she said.
Authorities later revealed that despite Brinton’s “non-binary” identifier, he would be placed in a men’s jail in Maryland before being released on bond in June.

Brinton, the former Department of Energy nuclear official known for having a certain proclivity for female clothing, is currently busy with several legal cases regarding the theft of women&#8217;s luggage from airports. So he might not know it, but his former posse of twisted sisters has been a top news item all week.
First, the Dodgers decided to invite this sacrilegious group to &#8220;Pride Night&#8221; in June. Then, the ball club rescinded that invitation following Christian outrage. However, the Dodgers <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/dodgers-re-invite-queer-and-trans-nuns-troupe-with-an-apology" target="_blank" rel="noopener">re-invited</a> the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to the game because they raise money for charity or something — and by charity, we mean groups that advance bodily mutilation. These are grown men who don makeup, pervert the cross, and dress up as nuns whose motto is &#8220;<a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/dodgers-apologize-drag-nuns-sisters-perpetual-indulgence-1235498144/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Go and sin some more</a>.&#8221;
In short, it is a bunch of filth, but the Dodgers think it best to honor these men. On Wednesday, one Twitter user flagged that Brinton was a &#8220;sister&#8221; himself.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday told the <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/05/23/non-binary-sam-brinton-will-be-placed-in-mens-jail/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York Post</a> that authorities would hold Brinton, 35, at the county men&#8217;s jail with the general male population next week per the Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation policy, which states that officers process and house inmates based on their biological sex.
&#8220;Although MCDOCR does not consider anatomical changes brought about by hormonal therapy to be changes that constitute a change of anatomical sex, the classification of an arrestee/inmate will depend on whether the arrestee/inmate has male or female genitalia, whether they present a management or security problem, and whether their health and safety can be ensured,&#8221; the policy reads, according to the Post. &#8220;Once an inmate is classified, they will be given a housing assignment based on that classification.&#8221;

Rob Yingling, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), said airport police &#8220;executed a search warrant May 17 in Montgomery County, Maryland, in connection with allegations of stolen property in luggage from Reagan National Airport that was brought to the department&#8217;s attention in February 2023.&#8221;
&#8220;With the assistance of Montgomery County Police, Samuel Otis Brinton, age 35, of Rockville, Maryland, was taken into custody Wednesday pending charges of Grand Larceny,&#8221; Yingling added.

Brinton appeared before a judge on May 18 via closed-circuit television from the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where Judge Victor Del Pino declined to release him and ordered him extradited to Virginia.
“I will deny the request to turn himself in,&#8221; Del Pino said at a public hearing. &#8220;Virginia will pick him up. Good luck in Virginia, Mr. Brinton.”

Three current and former members of the FBI testified in the House on Thursday and accused the bureau of wrongfully retaliating against them.
Garrett O‘Boyle, Steve Friend, and Marcus Allen told lawmakers that the FBI suspended their security clearances and froze their pay over questions about the Bureau’s January 6 investigations. O’Boyle and Allen are still employed by the bureau, but they’ve been without pay and barred from working for about a year. In news reported first by The Daily Wire today, former Biden nuclear energy official, Sam Brinton, was arrested Wednesday as a fugitive of justice. This comes months after Brinton was fired amid allegations of stealing luggage and women’s clothing from airports.
The Daily Wire&#8217;s Luke Roziak learned exclusively that former Biden administration nuclear official, Sam Brinton, was arrested last night at his home in Rockville, Maryland. A neighbor told Roziak that four unmarked police cars went to his house at about 10:00 PM and pulled him out. On Thursday, a  judge ordered Brinton extradited to Arlington, Virginia to face charges of grand larceny related to alleged luggage theft out of Dulles Airport, in connection with those fugitive from justice charges.

ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND &#8212; Sam Brinton, the &#8220;nonbinary&#8221; activist tapped by Joe Biden for a key nuclear role before he was fired for stealing women&#8217;s clothes, was arrested again Wednesday night as a &#8220;fugitive from justice&#8221; for allegedly stealing luggage, The Daily Wire has learned.
A neighbor told The Daily Wire that &#8220;four unmarked police showed up last night, they would not let his spouse Kevin leave. After about an hour Sam Brinton was escorted out in handcuffs.&#8221;
Rob Yingling, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), said airport police &#8220;executed a search warrant May 17 in Montgomery County, Maryland, in connection with allegations of stolen property in luggage from Reagan National Airport that was brought to the department’s attention in February 2023. With the assistance of Montgomery County Police, Samuel Otis Brinton, age 35, of Rockville, Maryland, was taken into custody Wednesday pending charges of Grand Larceny.&#8221;
Montgomery County police spokeswoman Sheira Goff said &#8220;The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police are lead on this. Brinton was arrested at approximately 10 p.m. last night in their home.&#8221;
On Thursday afternoon, Brinton appeared before a judge via closed-circuit television from the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where Judge Victor Del Pino declined to release him and ordered him extradited to Virginia. Brinton did not have a lawyer or any supporters or press, other than The Daily Wire, at the hearing. A public defender spoke for him temporarily, despite his not being eligible for a public defender because of his income. He was wearing a blue jail jumpsuit and a mask.
&#8220;Mr. Brinton is a nuclear engineer, he is married,&#8221; the public defender said. &#8220;He works for GeoFission, a nuclear startup. He believes if he is released to turn himself in [to Virginia], he can keep his job&#8230; I believe the allegation is stolen luggage.&#8221;
Del Pino said &#8220;I will deny the request to turn himself in. Virginia will pick him up. Good luck in Virginia, Mr. Brinton.&#8221;
A court document lists Brinton&#8217;s sex as &#8220;X.&#8221; The bald-headed nuclear engineer stood out at Thursday&#8217;s bond hearing among the other defendants, which included many non-English speaking defendants and people charged with gun crimes and other violent offenses.
In March, a Tanzanian <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/fashion-designer-biden-official-sam-brinton-stole-clothes-what-need-justice" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fashion designer</a> named Asia Odorous Khamsin appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight to say that her luggage had been stolen from Reagan National Airport in 2018 on the way to a fashion show, causing catastrophe because she was unable to show her designs. Brinton was later pictured wearing one of her one-of-a-kind designs that had been in the suitcase, she said.
Brinton, a man who believes he is &#8220;nonbinary,&#8221; has repeatedly been arrested for allegedly stealing women&#8217;s clothes.

Disgraced former Biden Energy Department official Samuel Brinton reportedly agreed in court this week to undergo a mental health evaluation as part of an adult diversion program in the felony baggage theft case that he faces in Minnesota.
Brinton was originally charged with felony theft in two separate cases late last year for allegedly stealing luggage from Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport and Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
FOX 9 reported that as part of the adult diversion program, Brinton is required to apologize to the victim, return any stolen property, and complete community service. The program could lead to the case against Brinton being dismissed altogether, the report <a href="https://www.fox9.com/news/fmr-doe-official-who-took-luggage-from-msp-enters-diversion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>.
Brinton reportedly flew into Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport with American Airlines from Washington, D.C., on September 16. According to the complaint, Brinton traveled without a checked bag, indicating he had no purpose to claim a bag after landing.
The complaint alleges Brinton left the airport in an Uber and checked into the InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront hotel with the blue bag.
Brinton returned to MSP two days later, on September 18, and flew back to Washington, D.C., with the same bag.
Records and video surveillance showed the suitcase belonged to a female passenger who flew into the MSP on a Delta flight from New Orleans. According to a report, she notified law enforcement that her bag and the contents inside — valued at around $2,325 — had gone missing in the baggage claim area on the same day Brinton allegedly took the luggage.
Nearly three weeks later, the criminal complaint alleges, video surveillance footage from Dulles International Airport in Virginia captured Brinton returning from Europe with the bag on October 9.

“Not that I know of,” Brinton allegedly responded, but later admitted he took the bag.
“If I had taken the wrong bag, I am happy to return it, but I don’t have any clothes for another individual. That was my clothes when I opened the bag,” he told police, according to the complaint.
He allegedly called authorities two hours later and apologized for not being “completely honest,” adding he took the bag thinking it was his in a state of exhaustion. The complaint also alleges Brinton realized it wasn’t his bag after opening it up at the hotel, at which point he “got nervous” and “didn’t know what to do.”
It now appears as though he could have the felony charge in Minnesota dropped, which comes after he <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/disgraced-ex-biden-official-sam-brinton-avoids-jail-time-after-plea-deal-in-luggage-theft-case">pled</a> “no contest” last week after being charged in December for allegedly stealing luggage at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

An arrest warrant was issued for Brinton in December for grand larceny with a value between $1,200 and $5,000.
Brinton pleaded &#8220;no contest&#8221; to misdemeanor theft, which is categorized as an amount less than $1,200, after he was initially charged with a felony when police believed the amount was $3,670, the report said.
Investigators <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/police-disclose-how-they-caught-alleged-biden-admin-luggage-thief-sam-brinton" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> that “a white male adult wearing a white T-shirt with a large rainbow colored atomic nuclear symbol design” was seen on security camera footage taking the woman’s bag before leaving the airport.
“Brinton demonstrated several signs of abnormal behavior while taking the victim’s luggage which are cues suspects typically give off when committing luggage theft,” investigators in Las Vegas wrote in their report. “Specifically, Brinton pulled the victim’s luggage from the carousel and examined the tag.”
“Then placing it back on the carousel, looking in all directions for anyone who might be watching, or might approach,” the report continued. “Pulling it back off the carousel and demonstrating the same behavior by looking around before walking away with it quickly. Brinton only having checked one piece of luggage, which Brinton had already claimed from the carousel, had no reason to be examining and taking any other pieces of luggage.”
Brinton, who caused a stir among Americans over his role in the federal government for dressing in drag and boasting online about his puppy role-play fetish, came under fire in November of last year for allegedly stealing a woman’s luggage in Minneapolis.

Tanzanian fashion designer Asya Khamsin posted a tweet this week saying that her baggage was stolen from an airport in Washington, D.C., in 2018 and that after seeing Brinton in the news and doing some research, she believes that he stole her luggage because he was photographed wearing her custom-made clothing.
Brinton was eventually fired by the Biden administration late last year after facing <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/police-release-mugshot-photo-of-disgraced-biden-energy-official-sam-brinton" target="_blank" rel="noopener">multiple</a> criminal charges across the country for allegedly stealing luggage from airports.
&#8220;Now, I told you at the time that, you know, this guy was pretty clear to me is stealing the luggage, he&#8217;s not stealing it because he wants the luggage, right?&#8221; Walsh said. &#8220;Nobody needs that much baggage, especially someone like him who already comes with so much baggage to begin with. But it&#8217;s very clear that he is doing this and he&#8217;s targeting women because it&#8217;s all part, again, of this sick, twisted fetish.&#8221;
Walsh then began talking about the tweet from Khamsin, saying that the evidence that was presented by the fashion designer made the situation “pretty close to a case closed on this thing.&#8221;
&#8220;What this means is that Brinton, the baggage bandit, has been patrolling our airports for years,&#8221; Walsh said. &#8220;He&#8217;s been lurking in the baggage claim area like some kind of predatory forest creature on the prowl. This is like when all the small dogs and cats in the neighborhood start going missing and you know that there must be a coyote in the woods, except this coyote steals women&#8217;s luggage and then parades around in their clothing. So when we say &#8230; that these men are appropriating the female identity, well, he was literally doing that, right? I mean, we were saying that about Sam Brinton when he was first hired and we were supposed to applaud him.&#8221;
&#8220;And I know I said, and many other people said that he&#8217;s making a mockery, he&#8217;s appropriating womanhood and all the rest of it,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;We didn&#8217;t realize how literally correct we were. Walsh joked that this was basically like a new &#8220;MeToo&#8221; movement where women are coming forward and claiming that they were victimized by Brinton.

I lost my bag 2018 in DCA. Recently I heard the news on @FoxNews about @sambrinton luggage issue surprisingly I found his images wore my custom made outfit which was in the lost bag in 2018.”
And then you also can see the dated photo of her in the dress in 2018 and then you can also Brinton in the exact same outfit. So, it&#8217;s a rather distinct outfit, it&#8217;s very distinct because she made, she custom made the outfit. She&#8217;s a fashion designer and her luggage goes missing in 2018, four years ago, and then Brinton turns up wearing her custom clothing. You know it&#8217;s, it&#8217;s pretty close to a case closed on this thing. So what this means is that, there he is, and apparently he&#8217;s also wearing this wrong. I think he&#8217;s wearing it backwards or something. He doesn&#8217;t even know how to wear the outfit.
What this means is that Brinton, the baggage bandit, has been patrolling our airports for years. Vanity Fair Magazine published a fashion spread in 2022 that featured disgraced former White House official Sam Brinton — who identifies as nonbinary — wearing clothing that was allegedly stolen four years earlier.
Brinton, who <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/police-release-mugshot-photo-of-disgraced-biden-energy-official-sam-brinton/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">was charged</a> with felonies for allegedly stealing luggage from multiple airports, was removed as a nuclear official in President Joe Biden&#8217;s administration last December — and the story just took a strange turn.
Asya Khamsin, a fashion designer, recalled having one of her own suitcases stolen from an airport in 2018 — and out of curiosity, visited Brinton&#8217;s social media pages. To her surprise, she said she saw multiple items from her personal collection splashed across Brinton&#8217;s feed.
&#8220;I saw the images. Those were my custom designs, which were lost in that bag in 2018. He wore my clothes, which was stolen,&#8221; she told <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/female-fashion-designer-alleges-sam-brinton-wore-clothing-disappeared-airport-2018" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fox News Digital</a>. But that wasn&#8217;t all.
Vanity Fair also <a href="https://www.vanityfair.it/gallery/sam-brinton-look-stile-joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published</a> a photo spread featuring Brinton on February 21, 2022 — titled &#8220;All the Style of Sam Brinton.&#8221; The sub-headline gave a brief description, saying, &#8220;The nuclear engineer, appointed by President Joe Biden to serve as deputy secretary at the top of the Department of Energy, has, in spite of his part, entered the crosshairs of controversy. The reason? A wardrobe made of stiletto heels, grand evening dresses, and flaming lipsticks.&#8221;
But according to a few social media sleuths, one of Khamsin&#8217;s dresses appeared in the spread as well.

&#8220;OMG. Vanity Fair did a fashion article on Sam Brinton featuring the ousted Biden official in one of the stolen dresses,&#8221; Whispers of Dementia (@mgEyesOpen) tweeted, sharing a photo of the Vanity Fair title page in response to a photo from the designer alleging the dress was hers.
Brinton was charged after police in Las Vegas <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/police-disclose-how-they-caught-alleged-biden-admin-luggage-thief-sam-brinton/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">matched surveillance photos</a> of an alleged luggage thief with a photo of Brinton wearing the same shirt that was posted to Instagram the same day that the surveillance footage was taken.

The former Biden official was ultimately identified by a &#8220;white T-shirt with a large rainbow colored atomic nuclear symbol design&#8221; — but was reportedly caught on video taking luggage from the Las Vegas airport.
&#8220;Brinton demonstrated several signs of abnormal behavior while taking the victim’s luggage which are cues suspects typically give off when committing luggage theft,” investigators in Las Vegas wrote in their report. “Specifically, Brinton pulled the victim’s luggage from the carousel and examined the tag.”
“Then placing it back on the carousel, looking in all directions for anyone who might be watching, or might approach,” the report continued. “Pulling it back off the carousel and demonstrating the same behavior by looking around before walking away with it quickly. Brinton only having checked one piece of luggage, which Brinton had already claimed from the carousel, had no reason to be examining and taking any other pieces of luggage.”

Vanity Fair Published Fashion Feature On Sam Brinton, Showcased Allegedly Stolen Dress

Sam <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sam-brinton" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brinton</a>, the disgraced non-binary Biden administration nuclear energy official who was arrested for stealing women&#8217;s luggage at airports, previously helped create a school policy that encourages hiding children&#8217;s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/gender" target="_blank" rel="noopener">gender</a> changes from parents.
Brinton attracted attention for being one of the federal government&#8217;s first non-binary officials, but he was fired this week from the Office of Nuclear Energy at the Department of Energy.
The 35-year-old, who uses they/them pronouns, was charged with stealing a woman&#8217;s Vera Bradley suitcase from a Minneapolis Airport in September and another woman&#8217;s suitcase from a Las Vegas airport in July. The suitcases and their contents had a combined value of over $9,000, according to <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/former-biden-official-sam-brintons-mug-shot-released-bail-set-15000" target="_blank" rel="noopener">police</a> and court <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-non-binary-nuclear-official-charged-stealing-womans-luggage-airport" target="_blank" rel="noopener">documents</a>.

Brinton was arrested on Wednesday and has been charged with multiple felonies. He <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/former-biden-official-sam-brintons-mug-shot-released-bail-set-15000" target="_blank" rel="noopener">faces</a> up to ten years in prison.
Before his stint in the Biden administration, Brinton <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/sam-brinton-helped-craft-model-school-policy-keeping-parents-dark-kids-gender-change?intcmp=tw_fnc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">worked</a> for The Trevor Project, a nonprofit that says it works to prevent LGBT youth suicides. In 2019 while directing advocacy and government affairs for The Trevor Project, Brinton helped create a model school district policy for suicide prevention.
The <a href="https://www.thetrevorproject.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Model_School_Policy_Booklet.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">model policy,</a> which several states have adopted, says schools should hide suicidal students&#8217; sexual orientation and gender identity from their parents unless the student wants their parents to know.
&#8220;When a parent is notified of perceived suicide risk or an attempt, it is essential that the school maintain student confidentiality related to personal information such as sexual orientation or gender identity, especially when the student has not already disclosed to the parent or guardian and does not want it shared,&#8221; the model policy states. &#8220;Information shared should be restricted to the perceived risk of suicide or facts of the attempt.&#8221;
&#8220;Disclosing a student’s sexual orientation or gender identity without their explicit consent can in some cases endanger the student and at a minimum will impair the rapport developed with the professional,&#8221; the model continues.
&#8220;Through discussion with the student, the principal or school-employed mental health professional will assess whether there is further risk of harm due to parent or guardian notification. If the principal, designee, or mental health professional believes, in their professional capacity, that contacting the parent or guardian would endanger the health or well-being of the student, they may delay such contact as appropriate,&#8221; it continues.
Brinton touted the model school policy at the time in a press release.
&#8220;In addition, our research shows that more than half of LGBTQ youth are not out to a single adult in school; these policies show LGBTQ youth, out or not, that their school is a safe place for them to learn, and that school staff are prepared to help them in times of crisis,&#8221; Brinton <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/four-leading-national-organizations-launch-suicide-prevention-template-plan-for-schools-300913539.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>.
The Trevor Project&#8217;s model school policy has been adopted at least partially by the state education departments in <a href="https://www.azed.gov/sites/default/files/2022/01/School%20Behavioral%20Health%20Resource%20Guide%2012_06_2021.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Arizona</a> and <a href="https://www.sde.idaho.gov/student-engagement/ilp/files/policies/Model-Suicide-Prevention-Policy.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Idaho</a>, <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/sam-brinton-helped-craft-model-school-policy-keeping-parents-dark-kids-gender-change?intcmp=tw_fnc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">as well as</a> local school districts in California, New Hampshire, and Oregon. Other states including Washington and New Jersey have <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/another-state-tells-teachers-it-can-hide-students-gender-identity-from-parents" target="_blank" rel="noopener">similar policies</a>.
Parents in several states have <a href="https://www.news4jax.com/news/local/2022/01/27/clay-parents-sue-district-claim-counselor-discussed-elementary-students-gender-identity-without-their-knowledge/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">already</a> <a href="https://www.journalinquirer.com/connecticut_and_region/mass-parents-suing-over-school-s-gender-identity-policies/article_bb8632bc-4fb8-11ed-b99c-1333836c4b89.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sued</a> schools for similar policies, accusing them of hiding their kids&#8217; gender identities or even secretly encouraging their children to change gender identities.
