Media mogul Rupert Murdoch is retiring from the news and entertainment conglomerate he began seven decades ago — serving now as chair of Fox Corporation and executive chairman of News Corp — and will become chairman emeritus of both companies.
Per <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2023/09/21/business/media/rupert-murdoch-fox-retire.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The New York Times</a>, Rupert&#8217;s son Lachlan will soon be the sole executive of both Fox and News Corp. According to <a href="https://www.wsj.com/business/media/rupert-murdoch-to-step-down-as-chair-of-fox-and-news-corp-after-seven-decade-career-a71da24" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Wall Street Journal,</a> which is part of Murdoch&#8217;s media empire, the 92-year-old will officially retire in November at the company&#8217;s annual meeting.
&#8220;For my entire professional life, I have been engaged daily with news and ideas, and that will not change. But the time is right for me to take on different roles,” Rupert Murdoch wrote in a memo to staff, The Journal reported.
“Our companies are in robust health, as am I,” Murdoch added. “Our opportunities far exceed our commercial challenges. We have every reason to be optimistic about the coming years.”
Murdoch started his business with an Australian newspaper, growing the company over the last 70 years to a business worth <a href="https://www.google.com/search?q=news+corp+market+cap&amp;rlz=1C5GCEM_enUS998US998&amp;oq=news+corp+market&amp;aqs=chrome.0.0i512j69i57j0i512j0i22i30l2j0i15i22i30j0i22i30j46i10i22i30i199i465j0i22i30l2.2193j1j7&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8" target="_blank" rel="noopener">more than $11 billion</a>.
Lachlan also issued a statement, <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/rupert-murdoch-announces-transition-new-role-chairman-emeritus-fox-news-corp" target="_blank" rel="noopener">saying</a>, &#8220;On behalf of the FOX and News Corp boards of directors, leadership teams, and all the shareholders who have benefited from his hard work, I congratulate my father on his remarkable 70-year career. We thank him for his vision, his pioneering spirit, his steadfast determination, and the enduring legacy he leaves to the companies he founded and countless people he has impacted. We are grateful that he will serve as Chairman Emeritus and know he will continue to provide valued counsel to both companies.&#8221;
In the elder Murdoch&#8217;s Thursday memo, he also warned about &#8220;elites&#8221; working in the news industry for unseemly goals.
“Elites have open contempt for those who are not members of their rarefied class,” he said, according to The Jornal. &#8220;Most of the media is in cahoots with those elites, peddling political narratives rather than pursuing the truth.&#8221;
According to Forbes, Murdoch&#8217;s net worth is an estimated $17.3 billion.
Neither excessive pride nor false humility are admirable qualities,&#8221; the outgoing chairman added. &#8220;But I am truly proud of what we have achieved collectively through the decades, and I owe much to my colleagues, whose contributions to our success have sometimes been unseen outside the company but are deeply appreciated by me.&#8221;

Fox News settled a bombshell defamation suit stemming from the 2020 election by paying Dominion Voting Systems nearly $800 million just hours after the the beginning of a trial that would have seen some of the cable news behemoth&#8217;s biggest stars take the witness stand.
The dramatic settlement also spared Fox News’ 92-year-old founder, Rupert Murdoch, from testifying. The deal in the Wilmington, Delaware, case came in the early afternoon, following the earlier selection of 12 jurors and a dozen alternates.
&#8220;The case has been resolved, and it&#8217;s been resolved because of you,&#8221; state Superior Court Judge Eric Davis <a href="https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/fox-news-dominion-lawsuit-settlement-defamation-trial-b2321660.html">told</a> jurors.
A Fox News spokesperson confirmed the settlement had been reached.
&#8220;We are pleased to have reached a settlement of our dispute with Dominion Voting Systems,&#8221; the spokesperson said. &#8220;We acknowledge the Court&#8217;s rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false.&#8221;
Dominion lawyer Justin Nelson stated immediately after the deal that &#8220;we wish to express our deepest appreciation&#8221; to the court, and said the settlement was for just over $787 million.
Dominion sued Fox and its parent company Fox Corporation, claiming it knowingly spread false claims about its vote-counting equipment following the 2020 election. Fox guests and allegedly some hosts claimed Dominion had paid government bribes, switched votes, and was founded in Venezuela to rig elections for Hugo Chávez.

“In the coming weeks, we will prove Fox spread lies causing enormous damage to Dominion,” a Dominion spokesperson said in a statement the morning of the trial. “We look forward to trial.”

The trial was not to be televised, but likely would have seen some of the network’s biggest stars take the stand in addition to Murdoch and his son, Lachlan Murdoch. Prime-time hosts Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity were expected to testify, as well as Fox Business Network Maria Bartiromo and onetime weekend host Jeanine Pirro.
Dominion was prepared to show the jury internal messages from Fox hosts and executives in which they appeared to express knowledge that the claims about Dominion were false. The case could have had major implications for the media, as the landmark 1964 U.S. Supreme Court case Times v. Sullivan held that a news organization must be shown to have acted with actual malice to be found guilty of defamation.

Murdoch, the 92-year-old chairman of the vast News Corporation empire, reportedly plans to tie the knot this time with Ann Lesley Smith, 66, sometime in the summer.
“I was very nervous. I dreaded falling in love — but I knew this would be my last. It better be. I’m happy,&#8221; Murdoch told one of his news outlets, <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/03/20/rupert-murdoch-engaged-to-ann-lesley-smith/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The New York Post</a>, which noted he proposed to Smith on Saint Patrick&#8217;s Day in New York City with a personally selected Asscher-cut diamond solitaire ring.
“I’m one-fourth Irish,&#8221; Murdoch quipped.
Smith, identified in the report as a former San Francisco police chaplain, appears to have been married twice before.
Her first coupling was with a wealthy man she identified as &#8220;John,&#8221; whom she <a href="https://www1.cbn.com/700club/riches-rags-redemption-salvation-ann-lesley-smith" target="_blank" rel="noopener">alleged in an interview</a> with the Christian Broadcasting Network had become abusive when he drank alcohol.
Smith then married Chester Smith, a country music singer and media executive who <a href="https://www.marinij.com/2008/08/12/tv-station-owner-chester-smith-dies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">died of heart failure at the age of 78</a> in 2008. The two recorded an album together, <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Captured-Love-Chester-Smith-Lesley/dp/B000BGQXFY" target="_blank" rel="noopener">&#8220;Captured By Love,&#8221;</a> in 2005.

Both Murdoch and Smith both said they look forward to settling down for &#8220;the second half&#8221; of their lives.
“In perspective, it’s not my first rodeo. Getting near 70 means being in the last half. I waited for the right time. Friends are happy for me,&#8221; Smith said.

The 49-year-old scion went on to spend $100 million of the money he made from his father’s empire to support the Quadrivium foundation, which gave millions to groups supporting Biden and opposing Donald Trump in the 2020 election.
James Murdoch’s older brother Lachlan remains in the family business and serves as co-chairman of News Corp and executive chairman and CEO of Fox Corporation.
Last year, <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/fox-ceo-lachlan-murdoch-profile-interview-2021-5" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Business Insider reported</a> that James was “running a whisper campaign that Lachlan is not good at his job and that he doesn&#8217;t deserve it.” Lachlan, who now lives in Sydney despite plunking down $150 million in 2019 for the California mansion that was home to TV’s “Beverly Hillbillies,” told the outlet Fox News is a counterweight to far-Left social media companies that control information.

Media tycoon <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/rupert-murdoch">Rupert Murdoch</a> and model and actress Jerry Hall are allegedly divorcing after six years, The New York Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/22/business/media/rupert-murdoch-divorce-jerry-hall.html">reported</a> on Wednesday.
The Times allegedly heard of the rumor from &#8220;two people with knowledge of the decision.&#8221; However, no other details have emerged from Murdoch or Hall&#8217;s representatives.
At 91, the alleged news marks Murdoch&#8217;s fourth divorce and his shortest marriage. Murdoch and Hall were married in March 2016 in central London, prompting the media mogul to retire from Twitter, saying, &#8220;No more tweets for ten days or ever! Feel like the luckiest AND happiest man in world.&#8221;
Previously, Murdoch married entrepreneur and investor Wendi Deng in 1999; they divorced in 2013. Before his third marriage, Murdoch divorced former newspaper reporter, Anna Mann, after 30 years of marriage.
He was first married to Australian model Patricia Booker until they divorced in 1967.
However, 65-year-old Hall has only been married to Murdoch, making the divorce her first. Before her marriage with the media titan, Hall was in a 22-year relationship with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, but never officially tied the knot.

FOX Corporation CEO Lachlan Murdoch shrugged off a recent flurry of criticism from Democrats and Left-wing figures in recent weeks.
In an interview with <a href="https://www.axios.com/2022/05/24/lachlan-murdoch-criticism-fox-news-polarizing">Axios</a> published Tuesday, Murdoch said that the attacks on Fox, especially Fox News, are part and parcel of being a leader in the news industry. Murdoch defended the network, which has come under fire in recent weeks in the wake of a mass shooting at a grocery store in Buffalo. He also dismissed criticisms that Fox News has become divisive.
&#8220;Unfortunately, it comes with the territory,&#8221; Murdoch told Axios&#8217; Sara Fischer. &#8220;You&#8217;ve got to kind of realize what it is and how some of it is very organized kind of attacks — very coordinated — but it is what it is.&#8221; Murdoch said that many of the attacks stem from the fact that Fox News has remained at the top of the cable news ratings for 20 years. &#8220;I think when you&#8217;re in the news business, and you&#8217;re number one &#8230; you get a lot of heat and it just comes with the territory,&#8221; he said.
Murdoch also fired back at criticisms that Fox News’ content is dividing the American public more broadly, saying that the public is already divided. &#8220;I think the world is more divided and on edge than it has been, you know, for a very long time,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I think on the noise around it, so much of it is politicized &#8230; And so, you&#8217;ve got to be tough about it.&#8221;
Last week, Senate Majority Leader <a href="https://www.democrats.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/in-new-letter-to-rupert-murdoch-and-fox-news-executives-schumer-implores-fox-news-to-immediately-cease-dissemination-of-racist-great-replacement-theory-echoed-by-buffalo-mass-murderer">Chuck Schumer</a> (D-NY) sent a letter to Murdoch, Fox Corporation Chairman Rupert Murdoch, and Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott, and President and Executive Editor Jay Wallace accusing the network of amplifying the so-called &#8220;Great Replacement&#8221; theory in the wake of the Buffalo shooting. &#8220;[This] pernicious theory, which has no basis in fact, has been injected into the mainstream thanks in large part to a dangerous level of amplification by your network and its anchors,&#8221; Schumer wrote. He also attacked primetime host Tucker Carlson for allegedly espousing this theory.
Schumer also attacked the network in a speech on the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/this-is-a-poison-chuck-schumer-uses-senate-floor-to-berate-fox-news-after-buffalo-shooting">floor of the Senate</a> the same day. “[Let’s] be clear: [The Great Replacement is] a message that has also found a special home in several right-wing outlets, and on one cable news channel in particular: Fox News,&#8221; Schumer said. &#8220;In a craven quest for viewers and ratings, organizations like Fox News have spent years perfecting the craft of stoking cultural grievance and political resentment that eerily mirrors the messages found in Replacement Theory.”
Schumer was not the only Democratic figure to attack Fox News and the Murdoch family in the wake of the shooting last week. Former Democratic National Committee Chairman <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/they-are-the-enemy-former-dnc-chair-wants-fox-news-boycotted-murdoch-family-deported">Howard Dean</a> called for a boycott of Fox News, and demanded that the entire Murdoch family be deported to Australia. “I see the brand of Fox being hate, anger, dishonesty and now murder,” Dean said on MSNBC Thursday. “That is the brand. That is the brand of the Murdochs have chosen to be their flagship communication. I agree with Biden: Murdoch has harmed this country more than any other human being in my lifetime, and he should never have been given citizenship. Dean made an appearance on MSNBC&#8217;s &#8220;The Beat&#8221; with Ari Melber, and he argued in favor of a boycott of the Right-leaning cable news channel as well as popular host Tucker Carlson, blaming them for the racially motivated shooting that killed ten and wounded three others in Buffalo, New York.
&#8220;I wanted to speak to you about something we talked about before, which is, of course, the gun problem in this country, the hate problem in this country, and where it all ties back to. The uproar over the Replacement Theory and the hate and the racism which was cited by the Buffalo shooting suspect,&#8221; Melber began.

Bette Midler went on an unhinged rant on Wednesday against Fox News host Tucker Carlson, the owner of News Corp Rupert Murdoch, and former Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, calling for them to be &#8220;arrested&#8221; and more.
The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/try-breastfeeding-its-free-bette-midler-annihilated-for-snarky-tweet-amid-baby-formula-shortage">76-year-old</a> actress made the comments following the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/leftists-blames-tucker-carlson-for-buffalo-massacre-they-didnt-blame-maddow-in-scalise-shooting">mass shooting at a grocery store in Buffalo</a> that left ten people dead. She tweeted to her followers that Carlson should be &#8220;arrested&#8221; and Gingrich &#8220;clapped in irons&#8221; for getting Murdoch &#8220;past the FCC,&#8221; without truly explaining the last part.

The former CNN host who moved to ITV and hosted &#8220;Good Morning Britain&#8221; before raising ire for dissing Meghan Markle is set to start a new show in which he intends to &#8220;uncancel the cancelled.&#8221;
&#8220;Reflecting on the incident, Morgan has said he now wants to &#8216;re-platform those who’ve been de-platformed,'&#8221; the Daily Mail <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10727887/Piers-Morgan-hopes-uncancel-cancelled.html">reported</a>.
&#8220;Speaking ahead its launch, he said: &#8216;I thought the whole thing was a farce and I’m delighted that actually, as a result of the farce, we’ve ended up with a whole network which is now dedicated to preventing that kind of farce from recurring. You shouldn’t be shamed or vilified or cancelled for having an opinion, unless you genuinely are spewing hateful bigoted stuff.'&#8221;
His new daily show, called “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” is among the launch programs that will debut on Rupert Murdoch’s TalkTV channel. Its first episode will air on April 25 and can be viewed in the U.S. on Fox Nation.
Said Morgan: &#8220;I want to re-platform those who’ve been de-platformed. I want to uncancel those who have been cancelled. I want to basically make a point that cancel culture is as dangerous to society, in its own way, in terms of its attack on free speech and freedom of expression as coronavirus has been.&#8221;
&#8220;And could be over the next few years and decades actually more dangerous. So, I think if a democracy, like ours, or America or Australia, where this show will be airing, if a democracy loses that sense of what free speech means, and stops defending an individual’s right to an opinion, you’re not a democracy,&#8221; he said.
&#8220;This show, I hope, and the network will be standing up for democracy,&#8221; he said, according to the Mail.
Sharon Osbourne is also kicking off an hour-long panel debate show &#8220;The Talk,&#8221; which will air at 9 p.m.
She said her show will equally present both sides of an issue.
&#8220;Usually, and especially here in America, a network stands for the right or the left, or whatever it is. This is just basically the news with different people’s views on it, by experts mainly, I’m not an expert, but I’ve definitely got an opinion on everything. It’s new, it’s innovative, it’s a place for everyone that’s interested in what’s happening in the world to go to, without being told what they should be thinking,&#8221; Osbourne said.

The legacy media spent the weekend continually conflating criticism of the Biden administration with terrorist propaganda. In three days of nearly identically worded attacks, CNN and MSNBC likened FNC programming to ISIS recruiting films, accused 90-year-old Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch of being a “threat to democracy,” and mused about revoking the Australian native’s U.S. citizenship.
The personal assaults on the Murdoch family emanated from MSNBC’s Joy Reid, as well as CNN’s Jim Acosta and Brian Stelter.
Reid began the media pressure campaign by first targeting FNC, comparing Tucker Carlson’s Fox Nation programming to ISIS propaganda videos. “I used to watch, for my job, those ISIS little mini-films they would make to try to recruit young [involuntarily celibate males] to join ISIS. They would have the same sort of live action, try to incite, try to excite, like, young men kind of vibe that Tucker is creating in his trailer,” she said on Friday’s episode of “The ReidOut.”
“Arguably the greatest threat to our democracy continues in its quest to rot this country out from the outside,” she said. “No, no, not the Republican Party this time. I’m talking about Fox News.”
She then targeted the network’s owners, Rupert Murdoch and his son, Lachlan. “The Murdochs are undermining democracy here and around the world,” said Reid. “The Murdoch empire is just injecting anti-democratic propaganda straight into the veins of millions [of] people, night after night.”
“This is worse than <a href="https://therightswriter.com/2010/12/you-pay-1-5-million-for-public-radio-to-air-al-jazeera-news/">Al-Jazeera after 9/11</a>, what FOX News is,” agreed her guest, Dean Obeidallah. Al-Jazeera regularly aired videos produced by al Qaeda, including messages produced by the terrorist group&#8217;s founder, Osama bin Laden.
Reid then classified the 90-year-old Australian Rupert Murdoch as an incipient terrorist threat, approvingly reading a <a href="https://twitter.com/stuartpstevens/status/1453739491059961857">tweet</a> from an advisor to the scandal-plagued Lincoln Project: “If Rupert Murdoch were applying for American citizenship today, there would be ample evidence to classify him as a domestic threat and deny citizenship. He’s a dangerous man who should be treated as the anti-democratic propagandist he is.”

“We can’t take his citizenship away,” Obeidallah said mournfully. “I almost wish there was a way, but you can’t do it. I think you can only counter” his influence.
Reid and Obeidallah focused their ire on a new special which Carlson produced for Fox News’ streaming platform, Fox Nation, titled “Patriot Purge.” The documentary contends that the Left accuses its critics of terrorism so that it can impose legal sanctions against them.
Reid and her guests continued to attack Murdoch as spreading foreign propaganda. “What Murdoch has delivered, largely through FOX News in the United States, is exactly what Vladimir Putin wanted to achieve with his disinformation campaigns, turning one part of America against another,” said Reid, apparently unaware that the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/opinion-the-american-media-has-spread-russian-propaganda-more-effectively-than-russia-itself">greatest Russian propaganda charge</a> during the Cold War portrayed the U.S. as a systemically racist nation, much as Reid does. Dana Milbank of The Washington Post struck a more scatological tone, saying, “If Murdoch takes this once great newspaper any further down the toilet, I think we`re going to call it the Wall Street Urinal.” Obeidallah added zingers by calling Texas “an apartheid state” and nicknaming Tucker Carlson “Tucker Klansman.”
CNN followed suit the rest of the weekend. “The Murdochs and Tucker Carlson, their primetime pyromaniac, appear to be Hell-bent on dragging this country into a civil war. Jefferson Davis would be proud,” said former White House correspondent Jim Acosta on “<a href="https://transcripts.cnn.com/show/cnr/date/2021-10-30/segment/07">CNN Newsroom</a>” on Saturday afternoon.
CNN senior media correspondent Brian Stelter again hyperfocused on the Murdoch media dynasty on “Reliable Sources” on Sunday morning. “Are the Murdochs trying to be threats to American democracy? Is Rupert Murdoch a threat to American democracy?” Stelter asked guest Bill Carter, who replied Murdoch has “always been a destructive figure.”
The New York Times national political reporter, Astead Herndon, agreed with his fellow panelists that the threat of domestic terrorism from Fox News supporters appeared imminent.
“I think it’s a mistake for us to think of January 6 as an isolated event,” he said.

While the U.S. media frequently look the other way at President Joe Biden’s verbal and intellectual foibles, foreign media have questioned the president’s mental acuity. Australian reporters have lamented that “the leader of the free world” is “struggling,” “barely cogent,” and a “human corpse” who has sunken deep into “cognitive decline.”
Those quotations come from <a href="https://www.skynews.com.au/">Sky News Australia</a>, the center-right cable news network launched in 1996 by NewsCorp Australia. Its collection of hosts and journalists have told their <a href="https://www.mediaweek.com.au/sky-news-reports-record-2020-audience-growth-all-hours-all-days/">growing audience</a> what many in the U.S. media have refused to say: Joe Biden’s declining intellectual capabilities threaten all Western democracies.
In March, Sky News Australia host Cory Bernardi compared the Biden-Harris administration to a “reality show where the Democrats put up a barely cogent candidate for president just so that they could enjoy the spoils of office for four years. And, of course, it features an all-star cast of the politically semi-lucid.”
Biden’s speeches are “often total gibberish,” he said, but due to his evasive campaign strategy of remaining in his basement and effusive media coverage, far-left ideologues have “seized control, without having any idea what they’re doing.” Bernardi also wondered what “canny investing Biden did to afford a lifestyle where his family can afford to abandon laptops in repair shops and enjoy regular jaunts to China and the Ukraine.”

Last September, Paul Murray <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPr28nAuaaQ%20He">referred</a> to Biden as “the corpse that hopes to be the next president of the United States” before predicting that Kamala Harris will become the next president “under the 25 Amendment, of course.”
“This is elder abuse,” <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzSAEQjqlns">said</a> Alan Jones of <a href="https://www.skynews.com.au/">Sky News Australia</a> after playing a clip of Joe Biden’s public blunders. “It’s an insult to the free world, and the Democrats in America are a disgrace to turn this bloke up as the leader of the Western democracies.”

After previous Biden gaffes in April and May, Jones pronounced the president “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fd9zQjYaUs">cognitively delinquent</a>” and “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovBddHEtxKY">cognitively gone</a>.”

Biden’s performance in office demands that “there will have to be a presidential resignation,” <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fd9zQjYaUs">said</a> Jones in April. “Someone of significant note is going to have to tap this bloke on the shoulder and tell him he’s got to go.” But he highlighted Vice President Kamala Harris’ lack of popularity. “If we don’t think the free world is in a mess, we are bad students of the current international situation,” said Jones.

That threat came to a head during last month’s diplomatic encounter between <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/media-deems-biden-putin-summit-the-most-successful-diplomatic-mission-of-the-century">Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin</a>, after which some criticized the president for his apparent softness regarding U.S. industries that could be the target of Russian hackers. Biden also <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-biden-screams-at-cnn-reporter-who-questioned-him-youre-in-the-wrong-business">yelled at a CNN reporter</a>.
“The Joe Biden gaffes, the stumbles the confusion, they just continue, and they get worse. His staff probably can’t wait to get him home to bed in the White House,” <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsIxP-c83ok">said</a> Sky News Australia host Chris Kenny. “Biden’s going to be representing the interest of the free world when he confronts the belligerent Russian president in their Geneva summit tomorrow, and it’s hardly shaping up to be a Rocky Balboa versus Ivan Drago moment, is it?”
Kenny contrasted Biden with Donald Trump. Unlike his predecessor, who could not follow a script, “Biden can only work by reading a script. Once he wanders off on his own, no one knows where he’s gonna end up. It’s a worry — for the U.S., for you and me, but not for Putin.”
“We seem to have gone from Russian collusion to Russian delusion,” he told viewers of “The Kenny Report.”

While U.S. news outlets blame Biden’s verbal misfires on a putative stuttering problem, Austalian journalists pulled no punches about Biden’s mental slide for more than a year.
“In recent months, we’ve seen Biden appear confused about key facts, policies, dates, and names. He even at one point forgot Barack Obama’s name,” <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aA-GoeFGyIc">said</a> Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi last March. “No matter how hard the Democrats and their allies in the media try, Biden’s cognitive issues can no longer be ignored or blamed on some right-wing conspiracy. There is simply too much footage of his muddled rants, inexplicably bizarre outbursts, and Charlie Sheen-levels of confusion to try and gaslight the American public. Biden has appeared frail, perplexed, and just odd on too many public occasions.”
