Comedian Roseanne Barr is voicing her frustration with Jimmy Kimmel&#8217;s return on Tuesday night after being suspended for less than a week due to controversial comments, claiming that when a similar situation happened to her, it ruined her “whole life.”
&#8220;It just shows how they think. I got my whole life ruined, no forgiveness, all of my work stolen, and called a racist for time and eternity, for racially misgendering someone,&#8221; the sitcom star told NewsNation during an interview on Tuesday. &#8220;It&#8217;s a double standard.&#8221;

Despite strong ratings, Barr was written off &#8220;The Conners&#8221; in 2018 after she tweeted that former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett looked like the offspring of the “Muslim Brotherhood &amp; Planet of the Apes.&#8221;
Barr deleted the post and apologized, but her career and reputation were permanently damaged. 
Barr claimed that at the time, Kimmel &#8220;called me a racist even though I said repeatedly, which they repeatedly censored, that it was a mistake. I thought that the woman was a white woman from Iran.&#8221; 
Jarrett was born in Iran to black parents.
She added that Kimmel &#8220;called me a racist even though he himself appeared in blackface on their network many times.&#8221;
Kimmel just returned to his late-night show following a six-day suspension that came after comments he made about the individual who assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk. 
“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said, which prompted his show to be taken off the air temporarily.
The late-night host was back after six days, with Disney reps saying, “We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”
During his first monologue Tuesday night following the suspension, Kimmel referenced his comments about the Kirk assassination but did not apologize for them.
“It was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man,” Kimmel said as he became audibly emotional. “I don’t think there’s anything funny about it … nor was it my intention to blame any specific group for what was the actions … of an obviously deeply disturbed individual.”
Kimmel previously apologized for appearing in blackface, saying in a 2020 statement, &#8220;There is nothing more important to me than your respect, and I apologize to those who were genuinely hurt or offended by the makeup I wore or the words I spoke.&#8221;

Comedian <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/roseanne-barr-and-tom-macdonalds-trump-rap-daddys-home-hits-number-1-ahead-of-inauguration">Roseanne Barr</a> revealed she’s working on shopping a sitcom to Hollywood she wrote that centers on a family that “save America with guns, the Bible, petty crime and alcoholism.”
Speaking to <a href="https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/roseanne-barr-new-comedy-series-saving-america-1236285811/">Variety</a> about her latest project, the 72-year-old actress said the new sitcom, which she and “Roseanne” alum Allan Stephan wrote, is a “a cross between ‘The Roseanne Show’ and ‘The Sopranos.’” It centers on the family of an Alabama farmer who’s “saving the United States from drug gangs and China.” 
“It’s silly and out there,” Barr said. “[It will contain] very offensive ideas and a lot of swearing. I live with my daughter and her husband and their six children on a farm.”
“And they have goats running through their house and stuff,” she added. “It’s based on my life as a farmer in Hawaii. They save America with guns, the Bible, petty crime and alcoholism. It’s kind of like the Coen brothers thing.”

“There’s a scene where I have to strap myself into a corset. My granddaughter helps me, and then I go into town to flirt with all the shopkeepers that are just grotesque people,” Barr continued. “It’s just kind of a cartoony kind of thing.”
The writer and producer also said she’s not worried about whether Hollywood is interested in picking it up, because she will just make it herself, if not.
“If Hollywood doesn’t buy it, then I’m just gonna make it myself,” Barr said. “Does anybody in [Hollywood] like America or the people who watch TV? Because the people who watch TV would really like to see a show where working-class people win against the enemies of America.”
“Hollywood has made itself irrelevant to the American people,” she added. “If they want to survive, they should work with the new president [President Donald Trump]. American people elected him in an overwhelming victory. They should get back in touch with [them] and make some money, which I don’t know if they do or not ’cause they’ve proven to be ideologues rather than [business people]. What shocks me is the fact that they prefer to lose money and then explain that to the shareholders who apparently have no problem with that.”

In 2018, a reboot of her hit series with the same name was hugely successful. However, that same year Barr was fired following a tweet that was quickly labeled racist. The show was canceled and the series later came back to the network without her, retitled “The Conners.”

Comedian <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/roseanne-barr" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roseanne Barr</a> and Tom MacDonald’s rap video about President-elect Donald Trump’s victory “Daddy’s Home” has soared to the number one spot in music ahead of his second inauguration.
“We have officially hit #1 in ALL GENRES in the USA,” a joint post on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DE-ZcrqvXv-/?igsh=NjZiM2M3MzIxNA%3D%3D">Instagram</a> from Barr and MacDonald read after it became the number one song in America.
“Hollywood cancelled Rosie years ago…turned their backs on her…outcasted her…and stole her show,” it added. “They NEVER gave her a second chance…so, we’re taking this into our own hands.”
“We don’t need Hollywood…we’ll get Roseanne her first #1 song INDEPENDENT! If you haven’t &#8211; head to iTunes and download “Daddy’s Home”!!! #tommacdonald #hangovergang,” the post continued.

In the post on <a href="https://x.com/therealroseanne/status/1880300313145667837">X</a>, the 72-year-old actress wrote, “Tom MacDonald &amp; Roseanne Barr &#8211; Daddy&#8217;s Home. Some say I’m a poor loser- but I’m much worse when I win.” The post included a link to their <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nb7fAEQaJwE">YouTube</a> video that, at the time of this publication, has been viewed nearly 350,000 times and counting.
In a second post she added, “It really would be a shame if all my followers downloaded this song and got it to number 1. That would really piss off everyone who cancelled us and tried to destroy our country these last 8 years. We can’t have that!”

“They tried to cancel me and say that I&#8217;m a racist/ But I mean, huh, they can&#8217;t keep me with that jam (with the jam),” Barr rapped. “Try and take away my rights, then go and save this (woo!), Why they try and turn Becky into Dan?”

Not only did “Am I Racist?” become the top documentary of the decade, but those who watched it also praised the film for its comedic genius.

Former sitcom star Roseanne Barr sat down to discuss Matt Walsh’s upcoming documentary, “Am I Racist?” 
The actress had nothing but praise for the film and for Walsh’s approach, which was to use humor to help people “step out of the tiny box&#8221; they’d been in and the brainwashing constantly happening in the media and corporate environments when it comes to DEI. Barr said the key to resonating with the intended audience is by telling an entertaining yet important story, which is not easy to achieve. But “Am I Racist?” does exactly this.
Walsh agreed that while there’s a lot of value in his daily podcast, there are many people you can’t reach through those avenues. This film was made to have broad appeal to a larger audience. Barr agreed, saying he was doing “the right thing by making a funny movie.”
“That’s really the way to reach people, by doing something funny that just happens to be exposing a grift,” she said.

Walsh also explained how the film wasn’t meant to “put the message before the story.” Instead, he sought to create something entertaining that also packed a powerful message about the extreme grifting in the DEI industry. 
“The story really matters, we have to put that first,” Walsh told Barr.
Walsh described one part of the film when he visited a biker bar in the South and also went to an impoverished area in New Orleans. In both places, he encountered people unfamiliar with the mainstream DEI language. 
“Of course, we didn’t know how these conversations were going to go. But we kind of suspected that we would hear really similar things from both of these groups. Even though we’re told by the media that these groups hate each other. What we found is that we heard exactly the same thing… almost the exact same words.”
Walsh went on to say that no one in either of those environments was very concerned with racial identities.
“Because you were talking to the working class, you weren’t talking to the operatives that graduated brainwashed from college,” Barr observed. “You know, the privileged.” 
Walsh also mentioned how those who don’t have corporate jobs aren’t influenced by the “DEI brainwashing” happening there. 
“The default position is that [race is] not a big deal,” Walsh said.

The duo talked about one of Walsh’s most-asked questions from fans after making this film and his 2022 smash hit “What is a Woman?” which had to do with keeping a straight face during interviews. He said it might seem funny in retrospect, but actually dealing with grifters who were immersed in the lie was more frustrating than funny. 
“The challenge isn’t not laughing, it’s not screaming at them,” he told Barr. 
Later in the conversation, Walsh spoke with Barr about how theaters surprisingly accepted the film&#8217;s content, but they cautioned that it would be harder to sell audiences on a documentary-style project. The Daily Wire host said he was happy to report that promising ticket presales allowed them to expand the release to double the theaters they originally had.
Finally, the “Roseanne” star gave her thoughts on the project. “I’m glad you made the movie,” she told Walsh. “You were game to get a laugh, and it was funny.” 
Barr compared Walsh’s tactics to those of Michael Moore and Sacha Baron Cohen in terms of style and talent, even if they have different messages. 
“I’m glad you’re doing it. I’m glad you’re funny. I’m glad God gave you the gift of humor,” she added. “I think you made a good film; I hope you’ll make more.”

Rowling’s Cancel Culture sin was agreeing with most people on one of the era’s most explosive issues. The author’s social media <a href="https://www.jkrowling.com/opinions/j-k-rowling-writes-about-her-reasons-for-speaking-out-on-sex-and-gender-issues/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">defiance on trans doctrine</a> caused an immediate outcry. The media <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/jk-rowling-is-so-transphobic-even-elon-musk-wants-her-to-shut-up" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pounced and seized</a>. So did fellow progressives and trans activists.

Over that time, she’s <a href="https://news.sky.com/story/jk-rowling-working-with-police-over-death-threat-after-voicing-support-for-salman-rushdie-12672229">received death threats</a>, watched her name <a href="https://ew.com/celebrity/j-k-rowling-removed-from-seattle-museum-of-pop-culture-anti-trans-remarks/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">repeatedly</a> get <a href="https://www.theartnewspaper.com/2023/08/11/jk-rowling-removed-museum-pop-culture-harry-potter-transphobic-views" target="_blank" rel="noopener">erased</a>, and has been betrayed by the actors she helped make household names, including “Harry Potter” franchise alum Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. 
Except her Harry Potter legacy is as powerful as ever. The video game extension of said franchise, “Hogwarts Legacy,” <a href="https://www.pcgamer.com/hogwarts-legacy-sold-over-22-million-copies-warner-bros-exec-brags-its-the-best-selling-game-of-the-year-in-the-entire-industry-worldwide/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">boasted sales above and beyond expectations</a> despite attempts to cancel the title.
Max decided to revive the Harry Potter franchise via an upcoming TV series, one of the streamer’s biggest projects to date. The platform <a href="https://x.com/jk_rowling/status/1805968567034069278?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1805968567034069278%7Ctwgr%5Ea8a85c42362cddcff8900257829dcd6c7c72d76c%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com%2Fentertainment%2F2024%2F06%2F27%2Fcancel-culture-fail-warner-bros-included-j-k-rowling-in-selecting-harry-potter-series-creative-team%2F" target="_blank" rel="noopener">even invited Rowling</a> to vet the talent behind the saga.
Rowling stood up to the mob and emerged as a more powerful force.
Comedian Tyler Fischer endured a very different brand of cancellation. No one “resurfaced” one of Fischer’s old gags to get him professionally pummeled.
He simply fought back against DEI-style discrimination and for medical autonomy.

Fischer decided early in the pandemic not to get the COVID-19 vaccine. He was young, healthy, and had already survived a brush with the virus. The latter gave him natural immunity, something the medical powers that be downplayed at the time.
His decision cost him both friendships and gigs at a time when his career was still a work in progress.
Fischer didn’t get political, nor did he give up. He stuck to his principles, created viral-friendly impressions of Dr. Anthony Fauci, and rebuilt a career without Hollywood’s help.
He did fight back, though. He filed a lawsuit against his former management team for admitting they couldn’t find work for <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/no-joke-white-comic-terror-on-the-prairie-actor-sues-talent-agency-alleging-discrimination">a straight, white male</a>.
And he kept on hustling.
He co-starred in not one but two DailyWire+ films: “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/lady-ballers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lady Ballers</a>” and “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/terror-on-the-prairie" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Terror on the Prairie</a>.” He paired with fellow rebel comics JP Sears and Ryan Long. He ingratiated himself to Fox News’ viewers via “Gutfeld!”
And he just landed the most coveted spot for any modern comedian — The hot seat on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
Comedians once saw “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” as the ultimate sign they had “made it.” If Carson invited you to the NBC couch after your set, it was the ultimate sign of respect.
Now, a chat with Rogan serves a similar purpose. Fischer has officially made it, and he did so without betraying his values or free speech principles.
Comic legend Roseanne Barr actually said something awful and should have apologized for it immediately.
That’s exactly what she did after she crudely compared former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett to a “Planet of the Apes” character on Twitter.
Apology not accepted, even if she had a track record of reaching out to minority scribes on her eponymous sitcom. ABC fired Barr from her own sitcom and killed off her iconic character, turning the series over to “The Conners.”
Decades atop the Hollywood food chain ended with the speed of a Tweet.
She was done.
She laid low for a while, finally using a FOX Nation stand-up special as her official re-entry into showbiz. From there, she started a feisty podcast, co-starred on DailyWire+’s “Mr. Birchum” series, and made herself a familiar face in Austin, Texas, the new comedy epicenter.
She’s now an elder statesperson in the country’s hottest comedy scene, part of the Rogan revolution where free speech reigns supreme.

In a way, Barr’s cancellation is ongoing. She won’t be welcomed on any late-night show or “Saturday Night Live” episode going forward. No Hollywood studio will tap her for a comic cameo or supporting role.
She doesn’t need it anymore.
Nor does Shane Gillis, but the feeling isn’t mutual.
The affable comic snared the gig of a lifetime in 2019 when Lorne Michaels chose him to join “Saturday Night Live.” Gillis’ old material “resurfaced,” including a crude routine with Asian stereotypes.
He got canned before the season’s first episode aired.
Many might have called it a career. Not Gillis. He kept on creating, from stand-up gigs to his hilarious “Gilly and Keeves” YouTube sketch series.

Gillis also leaned on social media platforms to build his base, posting full-length stand-up specials on YouTube with dizzying results. His “Live from Austin” special has generated 28 million views since going live in 2022.
Suddenly, “SNL” had second thoughts. The show invited Gillis to host the program that tried to cancel his career. 
Meanwhile, Netflix ordered up a Gillis special, “Beautiful Dogs,” along with an original comedy series (“Tires”).
It’s worth acknowledging that other stars have done and said far worse without a hint of cancellation. Alec Baldwin and Ezra Miller rush to mind.
These canceled stars didn’t deserve the cultural punishments meted out by the modern Left. They proved too talented to stay canceled.

Outspoken comedian <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/roseanne-barr">Roseanne Barr</a> stopped by <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/the-michael-knowles-show">The Michael Knowles</a> Show to share some of her opinions about the activist co-hosts on “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/the-view">The View</a>,” and she did not hold back with her criticisms.
As expected, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/whoopi-goldberg">Whoopi Goldberg</a> and crew were elated after former president Donald Trump was found guilty in the Manhattan hush-money case. Every single co-cost, including those who identify as Republicans, seemed to support the verdict that’s been criticized by many legal experts.
Barr, who stars in the new DailyWire+ animated comedy “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/mr-birchum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mr. Birchum</a>,” joined Knowles on Tuesday to discuss the new show along with other topics. She told Knowles that she believes that Trump is the one person standing in the way of the nation’s destruction. “We’re in living history,” the celeb said during the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/ep-1503-fauci-unmasks-himself-in-heated-congressional-hearing">podcast interview</a>. “It’s quite biblical.”
“It’s a terrible miscarriage of justice, what’s happened to President Trump. Making a mockery of our judicial system, what they’ve done. And that’s stunning and disappointing to all Americans who love our constitutional republic and our Constitution and everything that hangs on it,” Barr continued, saying she believed that leftists are trying to “destroy America.”
“America is the only thing that stands in the way of their global one-world Nazi government,” she added.

Barr said the silver lining is that recent events have led to these activists “exposing themselves” and their agenda to the world. 
The sitcom star next came down hard on the women who host “The View.”
“I thought America was about being fair and showing two sides… because it is that way in reality. I felt like on television it was your duty to represent two sides and not like, be ‘The View,’” Barr said.

“They’re all communist crusaders,” she added. 
As for Goldberg, who’s been criticized in the past for adopting the Jewish-sounding last name, Barr said she’s a “cultural appropriator of Judaism” and said her persona is “Jew-face.”
“It’s so despicable and offensive to me and to Jews like me. Especially now,” Barr told Knowles.
The TV star also described “View” co-host Joy Behar as “an alien” who’s “from another planet.”
Barr described how she received pushback from ABC producers when she tried to incorporate racial inclusion on her popular TV show. 
“I wanted to have everybody represented,” she said. “The first black character on my show, they wanted to name her Juanita Epstein or something. And it was despicable to me, so I said no and that was a big fight. And then in the factory, they would bring in all these black people and they’d make them stand in the back.” 
The actress said that when she wanted to introduce a “mixed race granddaughter” onto the show, the producers “freaked out.” But Barr said she insisted, even after producers said they couldn’t find an actor to fit the bill.

The Daily Wire’s first animated comedy series “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/mr-birchum-series-premiere-event-drops-tonight">Mr. Birchum</a>” goes where mainstream comedy won’t, a respite from the woke agenda everywhere one looks.
Created by comedian <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/adam-carolla" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Adam Carolla</a>, “Mr. Birchum” is headed by Carolla as the voice of no-nonsense junior high woodshop teacher, Mr. Birchum, along with a star-studded cast which includes Daily Wire host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/author/brett-cooper" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brett Cooper</a>, journalist <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/megyn-kelly" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Megyn Kelly</a>, comedian <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/roseanne-barr" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roseanne Barr</a>, and so many more. 
“Whatever turn society takes and whatever bothers regular folk, normal people, we will skewer,” Carolla said on <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/podcasts/morning-wire" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Morning Wire</a> about what viewers can expect of the new DailyWire+ show. “So Birchum just sort of represents normal people who don’t get any of this crap. And that’s what you should expect Birchum to attack.”
“At a certain point, this stuff started being forced upon us and fed to us, and then I think that was the problem, like a lot of normal people [said], ‘I don’t want to know your pronouns, or I don’t want to embrace the trans movement, or Hamas, or anything like that, and I like to walk outside without a mask,’” he added.
The first episode premiered <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/mr-birchum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">exclusively</a> on Sunday, May 12 on Daily Wire+ and deals with Birchum coming face to face with his new nemesis, fanatical social justice warrior, Karponzi voiced by comedian Tyler Fischer, who tries to enact his woke agenda on his new school.
The woodshop teacher’s foes not only include Karponzi but indoctrinated, snowflake students and a school board that’s jumped in head first to adopt the DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) agenda.
<h3>Origin Of “Mr. Birchum”</h3>
<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/adam-carolla-tells-ben-shapiro-the-origin-of-mr-birchum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Carolla</a> recently talked about the origin of “Mr. Birchum,” telling Daily Wire’s Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro that, “this is a project that’s been 30 years in the making.”

“In 1994, I was a boxing coach. I was training Jimmy Kimmel to box. Jimmy, the sports guy back then, for KROQ radio, for a morning stunt. He thought I was funny. He said, ‘I think I can get you on the radio. But you’ve got to come up with a character,&#8217;” Carolla explained.
He continued, “I said, ‘I don’t do characters.’ He said, ‘You better come up with one.’ And I came up with a character called Mr. Birchum. Thirty years ago on KROQ radio in Los Angeles for the morning show.”
Carolla said the character “immediately became insanely popular” and added, “This is how I got into show business.”

Next, Shapiro asked about the character and what he represents. “Who was the character? Why did it become so popular?” he asked.
“He’s an amalgamation of every mean shop teacher I had in junior high,” Carolla replied. “I went to Walter Reed Junior High, and I had Mr. Gage and Mr. Smith and all these horrible shop teachers. They were angry guys with big mustaches and big forearms who loved woodworking and hated kids.”
“Even as a 13- or 14-year-old, I thought it was interesting that these guys went to school every day to work with kids, but hated kids,” he added.
“They loved their shop. And they looked at it as their shop, and the kids were sort of a nuisance and an annoyance who were coming in and who were using their tools. That’s sort of the approach for every shop teacher I had,” Carolla continued. “And so, as I went through life, I would tell people, ‘Did you ever have a mean shop teacher?’ And they’d go, ‘Oh, mine was the worst!’”
Carolla said, “I sort of realized everyone had a shared experience of the horrible, mean shop teachers. And I thought, I’ve never seen an ‘SNL’ sketch about a mean shop teacher. No one has captured this guy. But I’ll capture him. And that’s where Mr. Birchum was born.”
Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing, who is the executive producer of the series, previously said, “Hollywood wouldn’t make ‘Birchum’ today because they’ve stopped making comedies altogether for fear of offending the ‘wrong’ people – so we realized we had to do it.”
“We teamed up with Adam and some of the funniest people we know – Roseanne, Rob Riggle, Patrick Warburton, Fischer, and so many more – to bring back the irreverent patriarch in a truly hilarious comedy that doesn’t care who it offends,” Boreing added.

Carolla-who brings to life Birchum-is joined by his family— wife Wendi, voiced by the host of “The Megyn Kelly Show”; son Eddie, voiced by Kyle Dunnigan; and stepdaughter Jeanie, voiced by The Daily Wire’s very own host of “The Comments Section with Brett Cooper,” partnered with Birchum’s friend Gage, voiced by Alonzo Bodden.
Other celebs involved in the project include Sage Steele (Deena), Danny Trejo (Switchblade), Warburton (Burly Man), Jay Mohr (Coach Murphy), Riggle (Gunderson), and Barr as Principal Bortles.
During the Sirius XM “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/we-need-a-guy-like-birchum-more-than-ever-cast-of-mr-birchum-discusses-new-comedy-on-the-megyn-kelly-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Megyn Kelly Show</a>” podcast, the host and Carolla talked about the series and the insanity of the radical anti-America and anti-Israel protesters on college campuses across the country, with Kelly saying the country needs more Birchums in school.
“I will say, the timing for this is perfect,” the host said. “But we need a guy like Birchum more than ever. We could use more like Mr. Birchum in our K-12 and college education right now because we are producing a bunch of soft [people].”

Cooper was also on the show where she and Kelly joked about being mom and daughter on “Mr. Birchum.”
The Daily Wire host said she grew up as a child actor in Los Angeles for ten years and later went to college at UCLA. During the pandemic, she said her life changed and it was then she decided to speak out about “politics, values, current events, and culture” by making videos online, becoming a voice for the Right for a generation that was inundated with leftist ideology.
<h3>Hollywood Launch Party</h3>
Ahead of the launch of the new animated series on <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/photos-star-studded-mr-birchum-premiere-in-l-a-creates-buzz-for-adam-carollas-new-comedy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Daily Wire+</a>, the stars of the show hit the red carpet at Academy LA in Los Angeles for the series premiere. Besides the star-studded cast, there were also quite a few VIP guests in attendance for what’s shaping up to be the most hilarious, unapologetic comedy of the year.
Besides the cast of “Mr. Birchum,” plenty of other famous faces were spotted at the event and on the red carpet. Ben Savage, Dennis Prager, T.J. Miller, Audriix, Razzle Dangerously, Lori “Ice” Fetrick, Rose Reid, Rick Thorne, Jonathan Kite, Tia Carrere, Amala Ekpunobi, and Chef Rush all turned up to show support for the new sitcom.
Executive producers Mike August and Nate Adams, head writer Mike Lynch, supervising producer Curtis Koller, and The Daily Wire’s Co-CEO/Executive Producer Boreing, Co-CEO/Executive Producer Caleb Robinson, COO Jon Lewis, and podcast host Michael Knowles were all there, too.

A <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/mr-birchum-mobile-billboard-rolls-through-l-a-displays-trailer-for-series-premiere" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mobile billboard</a> displaying the trailer and details about the much-anticipated premiere of “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/mr-birchum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mr. Birchum</a>,” The Daily Wire’s first animated comedy series, hit the streets of Los Angeles last weekend.
The <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTaXLgtcGlg" target="_blank" rel="noopener">digital billboard</a> was 7 feet tall and 12 feet long and was made to resemble a school bus since the show centers on a junior high woodshop teacher voiced by Carolla.
The mobile billboard <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTaXLgtcGlg" target="_blank" rel="noopener">drove around</a> some Southern California hotspots, including Hollywood, West L.A., Culver City, Santa Monica, and Venice Beach.

Positive reactions poured in after The Daily Wire dropped a trailer for “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/lady-ballers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lady Ballers</a>,” a new feature-length comedy that mocks the recent phenomenon of men competing in women’s sports.
The film, directed by Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boreing, will follow the story of a down-on-his-luck former high school basketball coach, Rob, who will do anything to win — which in this case means teaching his team of men radical modern gender theory and leading them to identify as women in order to brutally dominate multiple women’s sports. Boreing stars in the film alongside Daily Wire sports show “Crain &amp; Co.” hosts.
“This looks sooo goood. Can’t wait to watch!” Libs of TikTok creator Chaya Raichik reacted to the trailer, which has been viewed over 10.5 million times on X.

Paula Scanlan, a spokeswoman for the Independent Women’s Forum and advocate for keeping men out of women’s sports, <a href="https://twitter.com/PaulaYScanlan/status/1729200125048770751">said</a> she was pleased the absurdity of men participating in women’s sports was being highlighted by film.
“While most days it’s frustrating or upsetting that so many people defend men playing in women sports, we have to admit it is hilarious that they do … I’m glad the absurdity (and humor) of the situation is being highlighted by this film. I can’t wait to see it. I am so glad non woke people are entering the comedy space again!” she said.
Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz, who has a cameo in the film, shared the trailer for the film on X, taking aim at comedian Jimmy Kimmel.

The trailer reveals a who’s who of conservative personalities — including Daily Wire stars Ben Shapiro, Brett Cooper, Michael Knowles, and Andrew Klavan, plus college women’s swim champ Riley Gaines, Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon, with even more to be revealed in the film.
“I think it&#8217;s fair to say this trailer is the pinnacle of my acting career,” Klavan <a href="https://twitter.com/andrewklavan/status/1729216899404468224" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>, sharing the trailer.
Gaines, who was forced to race against male swimmer Lia Thomas during her collegiate career, said she was very excited for the film’s release.
“Highlighting the absurdity of allowing men into women&#8217;s sports through comedy &amp; what&#8217;s supposed to be satire. This is the way Sooooo excited for this! <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/candace-owens" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Candace Owens</a> appeared on “The Roseanne Barr Podcast” Thursday and discussed various topics, including her explosive new documentary “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/convicting-a-murderer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Convicting a Murderer</a>.”
&#8220;Making a Murderer&#8221; was a hit for Netflix when it premiered in 2015. It explored the details of Steven Avery being found guilty of murdering photographer Teresa Halbach, casting doubt on Avery&#8217;s guilt by omitting key details from the investigation and trial.
Owens described her new series as “apolitical” and noted how people on both the left and right fell for the documentary makers’ deceptive tactics that made Avery look innocent of the murder he was found guilty of committing.
The podcast host told <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/roseanne-barr" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roseanne Barr</a> how audiences were “manipulated” into believing Avery was innocent because “Making a Murderer” filmmakers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos “didn’t give you enough facts.”
Owens mentioned how not only does Avery have superfans and romantic interests as a result of the Netflix documentary, but also the family of murder victim Teresa Halbach have been “harassed” following its release. 
The Netflix series created a national obsession with the case and did so without presenting a lot of the key details, which is why Owens felt compelled to expose those truths in “Convicting a Murderer.”

Barr’s co-host and producer Jake Pentland said he was a “huge Steven Avery fan” and believed he and his nephew Brendan Dassey were wrongly convicted and “railroaded” because they were low-income. He watched several episodes of “CAM” and said what the series exposed has caused him to question everything he thought he knew.
“It’s brilliant. I mean, I’m rethinking everything,” Pentland told Owens of the series. 
“Netflix is a big old brainwasher,” Barr agreed. 
Barr’s producer isn’t the only one loving “Convicting a Murderer.” The series has a 92% audience rating on <a href="https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/convicting_a_murderer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rotten Tomatoes</a> and despite not being reviewed by any mainstream media outlets, it’s also been trending on the site.
“It is mind boggling how Netflix got away with making millions of dollars lying about Steven Avery,” one viewer wrote. “One episode is all I needed to see, (I have seen the first 3) to know this man is pure evil and guilty! Thank you [Candace Owens] for always digging deep to reveal the TRUTH!!”
