A Texas Republican said that Democrats are holding the paychecks of millions of military service members “hostage” in order to advance their far-left agenda. 
Congressman Ronny Jackson told The Daily Wire that the Democrats’ opposition to a short-term spending plan backed by Republicans was causing real-world harm to those tasked with protecting America. As the shutdown continues, approximately two million military personnel are expected to continue working without pay — even as members of Congress continue to receive their paychecks. 
“Democrats are shutting down the government and holding our troops’ paychecks hostage, punishing the very men and women who put their lives on the line to protect America,” Jackson said. “It is both ridiculous and unsurprising that Democrats would once again put their radical agenda ahead of ensuring our servicemembers are properly taken care of.”
Jackson’s office highlighted how children in his own district, whose parents work at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita County, Texas, no longer have access to after-school programs. 
“For many families, these programs are essential support while parents serve,” Jackson’s office noted.
“Military personnel on active duty, including reserve component personnel on Federal active duty, will continue to report for duty and carry out assigned duties. This includes duty involving excepted and, to the extent they can be performed without incurring new obligations, non-excepted activities,” the Department of War’s shutdown contingency plan <a href="https://wjla.com/resources/pdf/79d6e679-134e-465a-ade4-dbb99d290dd9-CONTINGENCYPLANGUIDANCEFORCONTINUATIONOFOPERATIONSINTHEABSENCEOFAPPROPRIATIONS.pdf">reads</a>.
At the same time, nearly 400,000 civilian employees of the Department of War who perform “critical national security activities” are also expected to work without pay. Hundreds of thousands of other civilian employees for the department are currently furloughed. 
“The military cannot enter into new contracts or renew existing contracts, needlessly delaying the acquisition of critical capabilities for our warfighters,” Jackson’s office noted. 
Last month, the Republican-led House approved a bill that would have continued government funding for the next fiscal year at the same level as the previous fiscal year. That same bill stalled in the Senate after Democrats demanded around $1.5 trillion in new spending. 
The Trump administration has urged Republicans to take advantage of the shutdown to cut down on wasteful government spending and combat fraud. Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought has been tasked with reviewing the sprawling federal bureaucracy to see where cuts may be possible.

Joe Biden&#8217;s office announced Sunday that the former president had been <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/joe-biden-diagnosed-with-aggressive-form-of-prostate-cancer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">diagnosed</a> with an &#8220;aggressive form&#8221; of prostate cancer that had metastasized to his bones.
Almost immediately, doctors took to social media to explain the diagnosis and what it meant for Biden. But many physicians were shocked that Biden — who in theory underwent routine, high-quality medical examinations in the White House — did not have his cancer discovered until it had progressed to such a late stage.
The timing led some doctors to wonder whether Biden&#8217;s physicians had missed something, or if an earlier diagnosis had gone unreported.

Many doctors who raised questions about Biden&#8217;s diagnosis noted that prostate cancer is commonly detected early with a simple blood test for <a href="https://www.cancer.gov/types/prostate/psa-fact-sheet">Prostate-Specific Antigen</a> (PSA), a protein that can indicate the presence of cancer. When detected early — in Stages I,II, or III, when the cancer has not spread beyond the prostate gland — the average five-year survival rate is close to 100%. The average five-year survival rate for men with Stage IV or metastatic prostate cancer drops to 28%.
Dr. Chris George, who serves as the medical director of Northwestern Health Network&#8217;s cancer program, told Reuters it was concerning that Biden&#8217;s cancer had already spread to his bones.
&#8220;What concerns me &#8230; is the fact that the cancer has been reported to have already spread beyond the prostate to the bones. And when the cancer has spread to the bones, that makes it stage 4, that that means that the cancer is not curable,&#8221; George said. &#8220;There&#8217;s no treatment available that can cure the cancer. There&#8217;s definitely treatment available that can control the cancer.&#8221;

George said it was possible that Biden&#8217;s cancer was simply so aggressive that it had advanced dramatically since Biden&#8217;s last routine physical. But he said that scenario still raised questions as to whether a PSA screening might have caught the problem sooner.
&#8220;I would assume that the former president gets a very thorough physical every year,&#8221; George said. &#8220;I would be interested to know what his PSA was the last time it was checked.&#8221;
&#8220;It&#8217;s sort of hard for me to believe that he&#8217;s had a PSA within the past year, that was normal,&#8221; George told Reuters. &#8220;It&#8217;s possible. It&#8217;s definitely possible, but that would surprise me … Usually prostate cancer doesn&#8217;t, you know, go full throttle like this too often. When it does, that&#8217;s usually a bad, bad sign. That&#8217;s an aggressive cancer for sure. But it does seem odd to me.&#8221;
Dr. Steven Quay, a former faculty member at the Stanford University School of Medicine&#8217;s Pathology Department, also noted the significance of PSA screenings and how well it can detect prostate cancer in its early stages.
&#8220;Prostate cancer is the easiest cancer to diagnose when it first starts and to watch it progress to bone metastases. The PSA blood test shows the rate of cancer cell growth,&#8221; Quay said in an X post.
&#8220;For even with the most aggressive form, it is a 5-7 year journey without treatment before it becomes metastatic. Meaning, it would be malpractice for this patient to show up and be first diagnosed with metastatic disease in May 2025. It is highly likely he was carrying a diagnosis of prostate cancer throughout his White House tenure and the American people were uninformed.&#8221;
In response to post suggesting that Biden may not have been tested — some guidelines to not recommend PSA screenings for men over 70 unless they have risk factors — Quay pushed back.
&#8220;It is not credible to imagine that a Senator, Vice President, and President could not have undergone routine blood tests that included PSA,&#8221; Quay said. &#8220;I repeat my belief that it would be malpractice to not test PSA in a male U.S. President.&#8221;
&#8220;Yes, there are less than 5% of patients who can present with metastatic disease without primary indications via the PSA but &#8230; Come on, Man!!&#8221;

Dr. Howard Forman — a professor of radiology, economics, public health, and management at Yale University — said it was &#8220;inconceivable&#8221; that Biden had showed no prior signs of the disease.

Former President Donald Trump said on Sunday night that Vice President Kamala Harris should take a &#8220;test on cognitive stamina and agility,&#8221; arguing that her &#8220;slow and lethargic&#8221; answers during interviews are concerning.
Trump called on Harris, 59, to pass a cognitive test after the Democratic presidential nominee released a medical report on Saturday, which stated that she has &#8220;the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.&#8221; Harris used her medical report to attack Trump, suggesting that the 78-year-old former president is hiding whether he is fit for office.
Trump fired back, <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/113304060401145581" target="_blank" rel="noopener">writing</a> on Truth Social, &#8220;I believe it is very important that Kamala Harris pass a test on Cognitive Stamina and Agility. Her actions have led many to believe that there could be something very wrong with her.&#8221;
&#8220;Even 60 Minutes and CBS, in order to protect Lyin’ Kamala, illegally and unscrupulously replaced an answer she had given, which was totally &#8216;bonkers,&#8217; with another answer that had nothing to do with the question asked,&#8221; Trump added. &#8220;Also, she is slow and lethargic in answering even the easiest of questions. We just went through almost four years of that, we shouldn’t have to do it again!&#8221;
Harris was slammed by conservatives, including Trump, for dodging questions on illegal immigration during her &#8220;60 Minutes&#8221; interview last week, an interview from which the news show still has not released the transcripts. U.S. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/u-s-senators-push-cbs-news-to-release-full-kamala-60-minutes-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">senators</a> and former CBS <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ex-cbs-news-reporters-call-for-network-to-launch-probe-in-60-minutes-scandal" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reporters</a> have called on &#8220;60 Minutes&#8221; to release the transcripts after the news show was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-calls-for-investigation-into-60-minutes-deceptively-editing-kamala-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">blasted</a> for appearing to edit the interview with Harris in a way that helped her.
The Trump campaign responded to Harris&#8217; calls for Trump to release more medical records by pointing to a doctor&#8217;s report from last November along with &#8220;detailed reports&#8221; on Trump&#8217;s recovery following the assassination attempt on him in July.
In November of 2023, Trump released a three-paragraph letter from his doctor which stated that the former president&#8217;s “overall health is excellent,” adding that his “cognitive exams were exceptional.” Trump campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung said in a <a href="https://www.donaldjtrump.com/news/135ab48a-4cda-4c57-a2d6-72fdbf80ea06" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a> on Saturday, &#8220;President Trump has voluntarily released updates from his personal physician, as well as detailed reports from Dr. Ronny Jackson who treated him after the first assassination attempt. All have concluded he is in perfect and excellent health to be Commander in Chief.&#8221;
Dr. Jackson is a Republican congressman representing Texas and served as White House physician during the Obama and Trump administrations.

Rep. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ronny-jackson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ronny Jackson</a> (R-TX) ripped into FBI Director <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/christopher-wray" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Christopher Wray</a> on Friday over his suggestion that former President Donald Trump was not struck by a bullet earlier this month during an assassination attempt during a rally in Pennsylvania.
In an open <a href="https://x.com/RonnyJacksonTX/status/1816865204644274209" target="_blank" rel="noopener">letter</a> posted on social media, Jackon, who was Trump’s doctor when he was president, reprimanded Wray over his congressional testimony where he said that it was unclear what hit Trump’s ear. Jackson said that medical records and his own examination confirmed that Trump had been hit by a bullet.
&#8220;The would-be assassin fired multiple rounds from a relatively close distance using a high-powered rifle, with one bullet striking the former President, and now the Republican Nominee for President, in his right ear,&#8221; Jackson wrote. Two others were injured during the attack and 50-year-old Corey Comperatore was killed.
During his testimony on Wednesday, Wray said that Trump may have been hit by shrapnel or glass and not a bullet.
&#8220;There is absolutely no evidence that it was anything other than a bullet,&#8221; Jackson wrote on Friday. &#8220;Congress should correct the record as confirmed by both the hospital and myself. Director Wray is wrong and inappropriate to suggest anything else.&#8221;
Jackson also gave an update on Trump’s health in the letter, saying that he was doing well.
&#8220;As such, I want to reassure the American people and the rest of the world, that President Trump is doing extremely well,&#8221; Jackson said. &#8220;He is rapidly recovering from the gunshot wound to his right ear. I will continue to be available to assist President Trump and his personal physician in any way they see fit and will provide updates as necessary and with the permission of President Trump.&#8221;

Jackson, who previously served as the appointed physician to Trump while he was in office, gave a detailed description of the injury and where the former president was in terms of the recovery process.

Trump, I was naturally very concerned, as was the entire world, about his wellbeing after the assassination attempt on his life,&#8221; Jackson began. &#8220;As such, I met him in Bedminster, New Jersey, late that evening to personally check on him and offer my assistance in any way possible.&#8221;
Jackson went on to say that he had remained with Trump in the week since the shooting, and had been treating him on a daily basis: &#8220;He is doing well. As reported and witnessed by the entire world, he sustained a gunshot wound to the right ear from a high-powered rifle used by the would-be assassin.&#8221;
&#8220;The bullet passed, coming less than a quarter of an inch from entering his head, and struck the top of his right ear. The bullet track produced a 2cm wide wound that extended down to the cartilaginous surface of the ear. There was initially significant bleeding, followed by marked swelling of the entire upper ear,&#8221; Jackson continued. &#8220;The swelling has since resolved, and the wound is beginning to granulate and properly heal. Based on the highly vascular nature of the ear, there is still intermittent bleeding requiring a dressing to be in place. Given the broad and blunt nature of the wound itself, no sutures were required.&#8221;
Jackson then noted that the medical team at Butler Memorial Hospital, where Trump had been taken in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, had done an excellent job of caring for the former president.
&#8220;I want to thank them for their outstanding care,&#8221; he said. &#8220;They provided a thorough evaluation for additional injuries, including a comprehensive hearing exam, as needed. He will follow up with his primary care physician, as directed by the doctors that initially evaluated him.&#8221;
&#8220;In summary, former President Trump is doing well, and he is recovering as expected from the gunshot wound sustained last Saturday afternoon. I am extremely thankful his life was spared. It is an absolute miracle he wasn’t killed,&#8221; Jackson concluded, adding that he planned to be at Trump&#8217;s side during his planned Saturday rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and through the weekend before he returned to Washington, D.C., on Monday.

Rep. Jackson opened up his five and a half minute speech by highlight his military service record, followed by his 14 years serving as the White House physician.
&#8220;Now I can say I served a president who literally took a bullet for our country,&#8221; Jackson said referring to Trump being shot during an assassination attempt over the weekend. &#8220;President Trump and I have been through a lot together over the years, but I have never, ever been prouder of his leadership than I was last Saturday. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) said Saturday evening that his nephew was injured during the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump earlier in the day at a political rally in Pennsylvania.
Jackson, who made the remarks during a Fox News interview, said: &#8220;My nephew was at the event tonight, and they were in the friends and family pen, and they heard the shots and everybody dropped to the ground.&#8221;
&#8220;He was grazed in the neck, a bullet crossed his neck, cut his neck, and he was bleeding,&#8221;  he said. &#8220;This is my nephew, they were there, I&#8217;d set them up, they went to the rally.&#8221;
He said that they were seated to the president&#8217;s &#8220;right, down a little bit lower, on left on the screen, but to the president&#8217;s right, in the line of fire.&#8221;

Congressman Ronny Jackson Says His Nephew Was Shot During Trump Rally Assassination Attempt

President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> should take a drug test before and after his upcoming CNN <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/debates" target="_blank" rel="noopener">debate</a> with former President Donald Trump, Rep. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ronny-jackson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ronny Jackson</a> (R-TX) said on Sunday.
Jackson, who served as a White House physician for Trump and former President Barack Obama, told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/video/6355559317112" target="_blank" rel="noopener">on &#8220;Sunday Morning Futures&#8221;</a> he plans to make a formal request.
&#8220;Tomorrow, I&#8217;m sending a letter to President Biden, to his physician, Dr. [Kevin] O&#8217;Connor, and I&#8217;m CCing his entire Cabinet,&#8221; Jackson said.
&#8220;It&#8217;s embarrassing that I have to do this and it&#8217;s really embarrassing as a former White House physician to have to do something like this but we don&#8217;t have any choice, based on what&#8217;s going on,&#8221; he added.

Some Republicans have speculated whether Biden uses drugs to perk up before a performance. The White House rejected such talk after Biden&#8217;s State of the Union address this year.
“It’s telling that Republican officials are unable to stop announcing how intimidated they remain by [the] President’s State of the Union performance,” <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/white-house-denies-biden-used-drugs-before-sotu-says-potus-was-high-on-confidence" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> White House spokesman Andrew Bates.
Trump, who has pressed for pre-debate drug tests in the past, <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/06/22/us/politics/trump-biden-supplements-debate.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suggested</a> at a campaign stop in Philadelphia on Saturday that Biden will &#8220;come out all jacked up&#8221; for their face-off next week.
Jackson said his latest in a series of letters will be &#8220;demanding on behalf of many millions of concerned Americans right now that he submit to a drug test before and after this debate.&#8221;
The congressman noted he is &#8220;specifically&#8221; interested in performance-enhancing drugs and opined that Biden did not appear to be his usual self in his most recent State of the Union address.
&#8220;There&#8217;s just really no way to explain that, other than he was on something, that they&#8217;d given him medications,&#8221; Jackson added.
Pressed to comment on what drugs Biden could be taking, Jackson said Aricept is one that often comes up.
&#8220;But there&#8217;s all kinds of new drugs that are out there that are specifically for Alzheimer&#8217;s or Parkinson&#8217;s, things that cause these cognitive issues that the president seems to be subject to,&#8221; he added.
&#8220;Those drugs are out there. They treat the cognition part of it,&#8221; Jackson said. &#8220;They try to make it where he can think straighter and he&#8217;s not lost and confused as much.&#8221;
The congressman also mentioned drugs &#8220;that actually just increase alertness, like Adderall and other types of amphetamine-type drugs, maybe Provigil, things like that.&#8221;
He continued, &#8220;And then there&#8217;s a host of drugs that try to take the agitated edge off of most of these cognitive disorders.&#8221;
With Biden at the presidential retreat in Maryland for debate prep, Jackson pondered whether the president&#8217;s aides are working to see which arrangement of drugs works best.
&#8220;He&#8217;s going to be at Camp David for a full week before the debate,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Part of that is probably experimenting with just getting the doses just right, because they have to treat his cognition.&#8221;
Jackson concluded the interview by contending that Biden would be making a &#8220;dangerous&#8221; choice if he gets drugged up for the debate.
&#8220;On a day-to-day basis, we see a Joe Biden that struggles to stay awake. He looks sleepy. He slurs his speech. He shuffles when he walks. He&#8217;s having these freezing episodes now,&#8221; he said.
&#8220;So the American people need to know what&#8217;s going on,&#8221; Jackson went on. &#8220;And our adversaries and our allies see this. And it&#8217;s a national security issue for us.&#8221;

The former White House physician for Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump says that a new report this week about how President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> is struggling to function behind closed doors represents a serious threat to the U.S.
The remarks from Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) come after The Wall Street Journal <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-struggling-to-function-during-closed-door-meetings-with-officials-report" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that Biden has struggled so greatly at times that officials in private meetings with him have wondered if he is even awake.
The report said that Biden did not know details about his own policies or the fact that the policies had been implemented in addition to forgetting negotiations that had already been solidified and making bizarre remarks to lawmakers.
“The article’s just documenting what I’ve been saying all along: he’s not fit to be the commander in chief,” Jackson <a href="https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/4705861-ronny-jackson-biden-mental-fitness/mlite/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. “He’s got significant issues, he shouldn’t have the job. You know, it’s a national security issue for us.”
The Journal spoke with nearly four dozen individuals for its report, including Democrats and Republicans, leading Jackson to believe that the Left might be laying the groundwork to try to get rid of Biden.
&#8220;I think that the fact that it came out like this, and is so well sourced, tells me that this might be the left&#8217;s first attempt to start laying the groundwork to get rid of him,&#8221; he said.

Jackson reported to the White House Medical Unit (WHMU) during the Bush era in 2006, but he did not start as physician to the president until July 2013, a position that he served in until March 28, 2018. Jackson served as WHMU director from March 2010 through December 2014. Jackson also served as the first chief medical advisor to the president from February 2019 until December 2019. Jackson now serves as the U.S. Representative for Texas’ 13th Congressional District.

Consumer Product Safety Commission Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr remarked in a Monday interview with Bloomberg that gas stoves present a “hidden hazard” and said “any option is on the table” for banning the appliances.

However, a screenshot emerged Wednesday of a video that Ocasio-Cortez posted on Instagram of her cooking in what appears to be her kitchen using a gas stove.

Rep. Bill Huizenga (R-MI) proposed legislation on Wednesday barring the federal government from banning stoves powered by natural gas.
“The last thing Americans need or want is another big government bureaucratic decision telling us which appliance we can have in our home,” Huizenga said in a press release. “The STOVE Act is a common-sense measure that will stop bureaucrats from banning gas stoves or ranges. Americans should have the ability to choose the most affordable and most available way to cook food in their own home. It is absolutely ridiculous how out of control and out of touch the nanny state in Washington has become.”
Some 38% of American households use gas stoves for cooking, with the figure approaching 70% for states such as California and New Jersey, according to data from the Energy Information Administration.
The legislation says no federal agency “may propose, implement, or finalize a rule or guidance that restricts or bans the use and purchase of gas-powered stoves, cooktops, ranges, or ovens” in the United States. Introduction of the bill follows a statement from CPSC Chairman Alex Hoehn-Saric clarifying that neither he nor the agency is planning to ban gas stoves after the comments from Trumka, an appointee of President Joe Biden and the son of former AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, garnered nationwide controversy.

Ever since Joe Biden announced he was running for president (he did it by video before holing up in his basement for most of the campaign), the legacy media has had his back, defending his endless gaffes, both small and large.
But the legacy media truly outdid themselves this past weekend, turning a blind eye to the soon-to-be 80-year-old totally zoning out in the middle of a television interview &#8212; to the point where the interviewer had to say, &#8220;Mr. President?&#8221; to snap him out of his reverie.
In one of his rare interviews, Biden sat down with MSNBC&#8217;s Jonathan Capehart to talk 2024 ambitions. Capehart asked about recent polling that finds most Americans say Biden shouldn&#8217;t run again because of his age.
&#8220;The only reason to be involved in public life is: Can you make life better for other people,&#8221; the president said.
Capehart then asked Biden if he is going to run.
&#8220;I have not made that formal decision but it&#8217;s my intention, my intention to &#8212; and we have time to make that decision,&#8221; he said.
&#8220;Dr. Biden is for it?&#8221; Capehart asked, referring to first lady Jill Biden, who is not a medical doctor but holds an Ed.D., an education degree.
Biden fell silent and appeared to take a long trip in his mind, prompting Capehart to try to snap him out of it. &#8220;Mr. President?&#8221; he said as Biden sat there stone-faced. Amid signs that Biden might be returning from his trip, Capehart said, &#8220;Ope,&#8221; as in, &#8220;Oh, there you are.&#8221;
Yup, Biden was back &#8212; sort of. &#8220;Dr. Biden thinks that, uh, my wife thinks that, uh&#8230;&#8221; he said, followed by another long pause. &#8220;&#8230; that I, uh, that, that we&#8217;re, that we&#8217;re doing something very important and that I shouldn’t walk away from it.&#8221;

The legacy media ignored the whole scene &#8212; even though if the former president had done it, hoo boy, it&#8217;d be wall-to-wall coverage for weeks. But one lawmaker ripped Biden, saying he&#8217;s clearly not competent.
&#8220;This is really sad, but he reminds me of a Madame Tussauds wax figure,&#8221; Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/biden-not-competent-president-appearing-zone-msnbc-interview-rep-claudia-tenney">said</a> on Fox News. &#8220;He comes out, and they turn him on, and he delivers talking points that are presented to him by his shadow government, the staff behind him.&#8221;
&#8220;He&#8217;s really showing that he&#8217;s not competent to do this most important job in our nation. And I really, I joined on a letter with Congressman [Ronny] Jackson about making him subject to a cognitive test … this is serious stuff. We&#8217;ve got enemies around the world. You&#8217;ve been interviewing tremendous people about China, about what&#8217;s happening in the war in Europe, which is unprecedented,&#8221; she said.
&#8220;We&#8217;ve got to start looking into whether Joe Biden is actually capable of being the president. I think he&#8217;s not. I think we should consider all of these avenues,&#8221; Tenney said.
Thirty-seven GOP lawmakers joined Rep. Jackson (R-TX) in signing the letter. &#8220;My colleagues and I are again asking President Biden to immediately undergo a formal cognitive screening exam, such as the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA),&#8221; Jackson <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/republicans-urge-biden-to-take-cognitive-test-say-mental-decline-has-become-more-apparent">told</a> Fox News Digital in an email.
“As a former physician to three Presidents of the United States, I know what it takes mentally and physically to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief and Head of State,” Jackson said. “Joe Biden has continually proven to me and to the world that something isn’t right. The American people deserve to have absolute confidence in their President’s cognitive ability.”

&#8220;You know, it&#8217;s continued to get worse since he was candidate Joe Biden,&#8221; Jackson said. &#8220;When I first started talking about this, the American people have continued to have questions about a lot of his bizarre behaviors, this holding hands thing is one of them, the way he makes up stories, and he just repeatedly tells the stories that everyone has documented are not true, that happens pretty frequently. He has these emotional outbursts. He shuffles when he walks. He slurs his speech. He always looks frail and fragile. I just think it&#8217;s continued to get worse and worse.&#8221;
