After Israel announced the death of the murderous Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in Rafah, Vice President Kamala Harris, who had told Israel not to enter Rafah, was ripped for bragging that “we” will always bring terrorists to justice.
“And I will say to any terrorist who kills Americans, threatens the American people, or threatens our troops or our interests, know this: We will always bring you to justice,” Harris boasted on Thursday.
“Hamas’s genocidal leader, Yahya Sinwar, was killed in Rafah. Remember, Kamala Harris ‘studied the maps’ and demanded that Israel not enter Rafah. In late March, Harris was interviewed by Rachel Scott on ABC News&#8217;s &#8220;This Week,&#8221; where Scott prompted her by asking if Israel attacking Rafah would cross a “red line” for the Biden administration.
“We have been clear in multiple conversations and in every way that any major military operation in Rafah would be a huge mistake,&#8221; Harris said. &#8220;Let me tell you something, I have been studying the maps. The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/israel-defense-forces-idf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Israel Defense Forces</a> (IDF) released video footage from their rescue operation that saved four hostages who were kidnapped eight months ago by Hamas.
Israeli special forces on the ground were <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/israeli-special-forces-rescue-4-hostages-in-raids-on-2-hamas-locations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">supported</a> by airstrikes as they raided two Hamas locations in central Gaza, rescuing three Israelis at one location and finding the fourth hostage at the second location. The hostages have been identified as Noa Argamani, 25; Almog Meir Jan, 21; Andrey Kozlov, 27; and Shlomi Ziv, 40. All four hostages are in good condition, according to the IDF.
The IDF released footage from both locations showing the hostages boarding Israeli helicopters and flying out of Gaza.

The mission marks the most successful hostage rescue operation for the IDF since Hamas captured at least 250 people from Israel during its October 7 terrorist attack. In February, the IDF rescued two Israeli hostages — Fernando Marman, 61, and Louis Har, 71 — who were being held by Hamas in Rafah.
The rescue mission had been planned by the IDF for weeks, according to Hagari, who added that during the rescue operation, Israeli forces were under fire from Hamas while in the buildings and on their way out of Gaza with the hostages.
“They risked their lives to save the lives of our hostages. This is what we do in Israel,” he said.
Hagari added that the IDF will continue to fight to rescue the 120 hostages who still remain in Gaza, which include men, women, and children.
Hamas has murdered at least 60 hostages since its October 7 attack, according to Israel. Only 19 of the bodies have been brought back to Israel from Gaza.

The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/rafah" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Israel Defense Forces</a> (IDF) released results from their initial investigation into the deaths of dozens of people at a tent camp in Rafah on Tuesday, saying that the munitions the country used were too small and were used too far away from where the people died to have been responsible for their deaths.
The IDF launched a strike against senior Hamas terrorists on Sunday night who were meeting inside a compound in Rafah that is used by Hamas.
Hamas-controlled local officials claimed that approximately four dozen people were killed in the strike and claimed that Israel was responsible for their deaths.
&#8220;The strike was based on precise intelligence that indicated that these terrorists, who were responsible for orchestrating and executing terror attacks against Israelis, were meeting inside the specific structure we targeted,&#8221; said IDF spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari. &#8220;These terrorists were responsible for the deaths of Israelis and they were actively commanding operations that could have killed even more. Their deaths saved lives.&#8221;
He showed images from Israeli aerial surveillance from the time of the strike that shows the IDF targeted a structure approximately 200 yards away from where the fire broke out in the tent camp.
&#8220;Contrary to reports, we conducted the strike outside the area that we designated as a humanitarian area and called civilians to evacuate to,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Our strike was over a kilometer and a half away from the Al-Mawasi humanitarian area.&#8221;
The strike hit an area approximately 200 yards away from the tent camp using munitions with the smallest warheads that can be used by military aircraft. The warheads had only 35 pounds of explosive material, which is extremely small compared to what is commonly used on battlefields around the world.
&#8220;Our munition alone could not have ignited a fire of this size,&#8221; he said, noting that Hamas has been operating out of the area since October 7, which is a war crime since they are operating around civilians.

Hagari showed that there were rocket launchers just a few dozen yards away from where their strike targeted.
&#8220;We are also assessing footage documented by Gazans on the night of the strike, posted on social media, which appear to show secondary explosions, indicating that there may have been weapons in the area,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Our signal intelligence intercepted some phone calls that reinforce this concern, raising the possibility that weapons stored in a nearby compound caught fire.&#8221;

The IDF released an audio file of a conversation that was intercepted between two Gazans in which one says that the fire erupted because Hamas had a bunch of ammunition in the area at a warehouse that started exploding.

It is a stronghold for Hamas&#8217; operators with several battalions belonging to the Rafah brigades entrenched in the area,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Also present in Rafah is an intricate underground tunnel infrastructure that runs underneath the city and provides ample space for operators, command and control rooms, and military equipment.&#8221;

Israel&#8217;s official X account shared video on Tuesday of armed gunmen — who were believed to be Hamas terrorists — inside a United Nations-affiliated Palestinian aid compound in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/rafah" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rafah</a>.
In the <a href="https://twitter.com/Israel/status/1790450075782525371" target="_blank" rel="noopener">video</a>, which was captured by an Israel Defense Forces drone, showed the gunmen casually walking about inside the UNRWA compound and interacting with people who were standing near and operating vehicles labeled &#8220;UN.&#8221;
Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner also shared the video, challenging the United Nations to answer for what it showed.

There&#8217;s a very famous story about Joe Biden when he was a senator in the 1980’s.
In June 1982, Biden was on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and he got into a clash with Menachem Begin, the prime minister of Israel.
Biden lectured Begin over Israeli settlements and threatened cutting off military aid for Israel’s offensive campaign in Lebanon, where Israel was fighting against arch-terrorist Yasser Arafat and his Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
Begin, whose father, mother, and brother were murdered by the Nazis in the Holocaust, had moved to Israel, where he became an underground fighter against the British in an attempt to establish the State of Israel. He turned to Biden and <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/menachem-begin-warned-us-about-joe-biden/#:~:text=Don't%20threaten%20us%20with,the%20gas%20chambers%20and%20ovens." target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>:

Now, this story is not about Menachem Begin. This story is about Joe Biden. Biden is a coward. He is an atrocious voice when it comes to foreign policy, and he always has been. There&#8217;s a reason that former Obama Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Biden had never been correct on foreign policy in his entire life.
That is true. Biden has a unique capacity to screw up when it comes to foreign policy. He is weak-kneed. In fact, he is so weak that he brags about being the only member of the Obama administration to oppose the Osama bin Laden raid. That&#8217;s how weak Joe Biden is.
Now, Joe Biden is showing his neck to Hamas.

On Wednesday, Biden told CNN’s Erin Burnett that the United States would deny Israel offensive weaponry if Israel went into the “populated areas” of Rafah. He decided unilaterally that in violation of the Impoundment Control Act of 1974, he is simply going to hold up the shipments of weaponry to Israel over disagreements with how Israel is prosecuting the war.
Israel has been attempting to move civilians out of Rafah so they can move in and kill terrorists in Rafah. And Biden has opposed that. Biden’s new math is that the United States will undercut our own democratic allies if terrorists take the most terroristic action, which is to hide behind civilians. He is now creating a full-scale incentive structure for terrorists to hide among civilians because now they are safe from any sort of retaliation.
The weapons he wants to deny to Israel are targeted weapons, the kinds of weapons that minimize civilian casualties, which will force Israel to use non-targeted weapons, meaning more civilian casualties.
That’s an unjustifiable act on every possible level: moral, political, and pragmatic. And none of it makes any sense on the moral level.
Hamas is a terrorist group that is currently holding five Americans. Five Americans are being held in terror tunnels by Yahya Sinwar and his group of barbaric thugs.
Biden doesn&#8217;t mention their names very often. He will talk about Brittney Griner until the cows come home, but when it comes to five Americans who happen to be Jewish who are being held by Hamas in terror tunnels, he won&#8217;t mention their names: Edan Alexander, 19; Omer Neutra, 22; Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23; Sagui Dekel-Chen, 35; and Keith Siegel, 64.
Biden will take the occasional photo op with their relatives and pretend he&#8217;s going to stand by them. But he’s not standing by anybody. He does not give two good damns about any one of those people.
Biden attempting to preserve Hamas in Rafah is also political malpractice. The American people do not like Hamas. They would like to see Israel finish this. The American people are tired of watching this war go on. What America likes are wars that are short, wars that are victorious.
And those are things Joe Biden has never been involved in.
What Biden is doing right now is the least pragmatic move I&#8217;ve ever seen a politician make with foreign policy. He has created an entire incentive structure for Hamas to walk away from the table. He has created an incentive structure for Hezbollah to get into a war with Israel. He has created an incentive structure where if Israel goes into Rafah, more civilians will die.
Biden is showing daylight between Israel and the United States. The terrorist group Hezbollah might well think, “If we open up on the northern front, the United States won&#8217;t resupply Israel.” Iran will get more aggressive. And of course, Hamas will walk away from the negotiating table.
Biden is now playing defense for Hamas. Make no mistake, he has sided with Hamas in this conflict.
There&#8217;s only one predictable result of this, and that is the maintenance of Hamas as a political power and military force in Gaza. There are four brigades of commands, about 8,000 Hamas combat soldiers who are still in Rafah, and Biden is keeping them alive. 
Joe Biden is ensuring they will walk out of the tunnels, heads held high at some point, release no hostages, and declare victory.

It&#8217;s an insane decision for the United States. It is in the interest of the United States for our allies to wreck terror groups, particularly terror groups who are currently holding Americans hostage. It is in the interest of the United States for Israel to demonstrate strength in a region that only respects strength. 
But the most morally disgusting thing Biden did is this: The real reason Biden said nothing until Wednesday night, even though rumors for days had warned he would cut off aid, is that he didn&#8217;t want to announce he was cutting off the State of Israel at the knees until after he paid lip service and shed some crocodile tears about the Holocaust at a speech marking Holocaust Remembrance Day.
On Tuesday night, Biden spoke about how the Holocaust was incredibly important, how it should never happen again, and how he would stand by the State of Israel.
He wanted to get past that speech and then deprive Israel of the capacity to destroy a genocidal, Nazi-like terror group that wants all Jews dead.

A number of Democrats have voiced their displeasure with President Joe Biden in the wake of his decision to withhold promised military aid if Israel launches a full-scale ground operation in Rafah.
While none have expressly said that Biden&#8217;s actions with regard to Israel would drive them to support another candidate in the 2024 presidential race, they have called on the Biden administration to reconsider the very clear message such actions send both to Israel and the terrorist group Hamas.
&#8220;Hard disagree and deeply disappointing,&#8221; Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) said via X, sharing a CNN headline that read, &#8220;Biden says he will stop sending bombs and artillery shells to Israel if they launch major invasion of Rafah.&#8221;

President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> threatened to cut Israel off this week from receiving U.S. military weapons if they enter Rafah to finish off Hamas&#8217; last stronghold inside Gaza.
Biden made the remarks during an interview Wednesday evening with CNN&#8217;s Erin Burnett after <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-halts-weapons-shipments-to-idf-to-send-a-political-message-to-israel-report" target="_blank" rel="noopener">news broke</a> earlier this week that he was halting a shipment of bombs and other equipment to Israel to send a political message to them.
CNN asked Biden if the 2,000-pound bombs that the U.S. has sent to Israel have killed civilians inside Gaza.
&#8220;Civilians have been killed in Gaza as the consequence of those bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers,&#8221; Biden said in an apparent attempt to smear America&#8217;s top ally in the region, which comes as he faces mounting pressure from the Islamic/anti-Semitic progressive-wing of the Democrat Party to take action against Israel.
Israel does not target &#8220;population centers,&#8221; they take exhaustive steps to warn civilians that they need to leave specific areas before they conduct military operations.
No where in Biden&#8217;s remarks did the president mention that Hamas intentionally hides behind civilians thus making it impossible for Israel to hold the Palestinian Islamic terrorist organization accountable for the unprecedented terrorist attack that it launched on October 7 without there being collateral damage.

&#8220;But it&#8217;s — it’s — it’s just wrong,&#8221; Biden said of Israel&#8217;s military campaign against Hamas. &#8220;We&#8217;re not gonna — we&#8217;re not gonna supply the weapons and the artillery shells used that have been used.&#8221;
The 81-year-old president, who repeatedly coughed throughout the interview, is now <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-looking-to-bring-in-palestinians-to-the-u-s-as-refugees-report" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reportedly</a> considering importing Palestinian refugees into the U.S. despite their overwhelming hatred for the country, according to polling.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted precision strikes against the Hamas terrorist organization inside the Gazan city of Rafah on Monday night.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu&#8217;s Office said that the War Cabinet backed the operation in Rafah.
&#8220;The War Cabinet unanimously decided that Israel continues the operation in Rafah to exert military pressure on Hamas in order to promote the release of our hostages and the other goals of the war,&#8221; the statement read.
The operation took place after Hamas accepted the terms of an imaginary ceasefire agreement on Monday that Israel never agreed to.

The IDF&#8217;s <a href="https://twitter.com/IDF/status/1787347748737421635" target="_blank" rel="noopener">post</a> to X said the message was also conveyed by phone and media broadcasts in Arabic.
&#8220;The IDF will continue pursuing Hamas everywhere in Gaza until all the hostages that they’re holding in captivity are back home,&#8221; the post added.

As some people reportedly <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/06/middleeast/israel-gaza-eastern-rafah-evacuation-notice-hnk-intl/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">began to leave</a> the area, a Hamas official <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/hamas-idf-call-for-rafah-evacuation-a-dangerous-escalation-that-will-have-consequences/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claimed</a> that a Rafah offensive would have &#8220;dangerous escalation that will have consequences.&#8221;
The call for evacuations comes after Hamas <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/05/world/middleeast/hamas-rocket-kerem-shalom-israel.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claimed</a> responsibility for a rocket attack near the Kerem Shalom border crossing on Sunday that the IDF said killed and critically wounded a handful of Israeli soldiers.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant <a href="https://twitter.com/manniefabian/status/1787365746542002285" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin overnight that there was &#8220;no choice left&#8221; but to start the Rafah operation despite <a href="https://www.barrons.com/news/blinken-tells-netanyahu-us-still-opposes-rafah-operation-us-official-fa22cefc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">opposition</a> by the Biden administration.
Peace negotiations had been taking place in Cairo, with the talks geared toward the release of hostages kidnapped in Israel in exchange for a ceasefire in Gaza, but CNN <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/05/middleeast/israeli-hamas-ceasefire-egypt-talks-intl/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> on Sunday they had shown little progress before the Hamas delegation left Egypt.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) <a href="https://twitter.com/UNRWA/status/1787375629119168663" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in a post to X on Monday it would remain in Rafah for as long as possible to provide aid to people in the area.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini <a href="https://twitter.com/UNLazzarini/status/1787425918769594828" target="_blank" rel="noopener">warned</a> that an Israeli offensive in Rafah would create an &#8220;additional layer&#8221; of tragedy for people in Gaza and called for an immediate ceasefire.
In a <a href="https://twitter.com/IDF/status/1787199048400666702" target="_blank" rel="noopener">post to X</a> on Sunday, the IDF said that a Hamas command-and-control center located in central Gaza at an &#8220;active&#8221; [UNRWA] location was &#8220;precisely struck&#8221; by Israeli Air Force fighter jets.
&#8220;The location served as a staging ground for multiple attacks on IDF troops and humanitarian aid distribution efforts as well as a weapons supply facility for Hamas terrorists,&#8221; the IDF said. &#8220;Hamas intentionally positioned the command and control position in this location to jeopardize the Gazan civilians taking refuge there.&#8221;

Moving ahead with Israel’s goal of eliminating Hamas from Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the plans for the IDF to enter Rafah, Hamas’ last stronghold, where it is believed the Israeli hostages held by Gaza remain.

Noting the effort by some outside of Israel to stop Israel from finishing the war against Hamas, Ophir Falk, an advisor to Netanyahu, wrote in <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/israel-must-can-and-will-win-hamas-defeat-rafah-war-gaza-22e9a19d" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Wall Street Journal</a> on Thursday, “Mounting international pressure to end the war won’t weaken Israel’s resolve to accomplish its mission of destroying Hamas, freeing the hostages and guaranteeing that Gaza will never pose a threat to Israel again. Detractors dismiss total victory as implausible, but the facts on the ground indicate otherwise.  Israel has already dismantled 18 of Hamas’s 24 battalions, incapacitated more than 21,500 Hamas terrorists—about two-thirds of its force, including two of the top four leaders—and destroyed significant terror tunnels. By contrast, it took U.S. military forces nine months to take out 5,000 ISIS fighters in Mosul.”
Falk quoted John Spencer, chairman of urban warfare studies at West Point, calling Israel’s military efforts and their studied avoidance of creating as many civilian casualties as they can, as “unprecedented.” Spencer added the IDF was setting the “gold standard” in that regard.
“According to retired British Col. Richard Kemp, the average combatant-to-civilian death ratio in Gaza is about 1 to 1.5. This is astonishing since, according to the United Nations, the average combatant-to-civilian death ratio in urban warfare has been 1 to 9,” Falk noted.
“Hamas has four terror brigades in Rafah. That city is Hamas’s last stronghold, and its defeat is a prerequisite for victory,” he stated. “Whoever pressures Israel to refrain from entering Rafah is preventing the destruction of Hamas and the freeing of Israel and Gazan civilians from Hamas’s stranglehold. Gen. David Petraeus, who led the 2007 American surge in Iraq, said last week that the ‘key now is to not stop until Hamas is fully destroyed.’”
“Asking Israel to stop the war now is akin to telling the Allies to stop halfway to Berlin in World War II,” Falk pointed out. “If Hamas isn’t eradicated, genocidal terrorists will continue to emerge. As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told new Israel Defense Forces cadets last week, ‘when we defeat the murderers of October 7, we are preventing the next 9/11.’”
“Total victory is within reach. Israel will finish the job. Anything less will endanger the rest of the civilized world,” he concluded.
