&#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; host Mika Brzezinski made another stop on the apology tour as she and her husband and cohost Joe Scarborough attempt to do damage control and appease their left-leaning audience after they dared to take a meeting with President-elect Donald Trump.
Brzezinski and Scarborough announced during Monday morning&#8217;s broadcast that they had met with the president-elect at Mar-a-Lago in an effort to reopen the lines of communication after not speaking for a number of years. The move prompted critics on the left to say that they shouldn&#8217;t have offered Trump that kind of legitimacy — and critics on the right to wonder why, after they had compared him to Adolf Hitler, Trump would give them the time of day.
In the days since the pair have offered several explanations for their decision to meet with Trump — and they have repeatedly assured their audience that they still don&#8217;t agree with him on many things — and Wednesday was no exception.
&#8220;People are really scared,&#8221; Brzezinski told The Daily Beast editor-in-chief Joanna Coles and her <a href="https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/mika-defends-mar-a-lago-visit-musk-trump-road-trip/id1767675909?i=1000677726300" target="_blank" rel="noopener">podcast</a> cohost Samantha Bee.
&#8220;I’ve been surprised at the backlash,&#8221; she said of their meeting. &#8220;And the way I look at it is, people are really scared. And it’s one of the reasons we went in there is people are really scared about Donald Trump’s comments that, you know, political adversaries, a lot of people are scared because of what has happened with abortion. These are all issues that are important to me and in some ways personal to me, but definitely personal to the people I really care about.&#8221;

Brzezinski went on to say that she believed it was part of her job to talk to people who might disagree or even attack her personally and that she felt she had made a mistake in not speaking with Trump over the last several years.
&#8220;Well, I mean, it’s my job to interview and talk to people I disagree with, feel threatened by or who have hurt my feelings in some way. So here’s how I do it. I do my job. I mean, do I really not go in there because he tweeted about me bleeding badly from the facelift at Mar-a-Lago, I don’t know, eight, nine years ago?&#8221; she asked. &#8220;I mean, we haven’t talked in seven years. And I will say that’s a problem, too. So I’m worried about myself and how I conduct myself in this media universe that we’re in, taking stock of everything that has happened. I don’t regret anything I’ve said during the campaign, and I stand by it. But I’m also looking at how to do things differently. And I would never turn down an opportunity to gain insider information. Never. So how I handle mean tweets or the personal stuff is that that’s just not something I’m supposed to worry about. That’s my job.&#8221;

Leftist activist and TV personality <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/rosie-odonnell">Rosie O’Donnell</a> expressed her fury over <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/msnbc">MSNBC</a> hosts recently traveling to Florida to meet with President-elect <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump">Donald Trump</a>.
The comedian <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@rosie/video/7438776026525732138?lang=en">vented</a> about the meeting on TikTok. “Turn off the TV, because it’s like, impending doom, impending doom,” O’Donnell says in the clip. “But without a warning, they’re just like, ‘Well, Trump nominated so and so.’ Not like, ‘Holy s***, people. You’re not gonna believe this. We gotta do something.’ That’s what the newscaster should be saying. But they’re not. Hopeless.”
She continued, “So Mika [Brzezinski] and Joe [Scarborough] went down to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring. So, last time I ever watch ‘Morning Joe,’ period. End of statement. Unreal, unreal. For months you were telling us he’s the worst thing that could happen to this country and democracy. And then you go kiss his ring. Despicable. Despicable you; both of you.”
O’Donnell was referencing the meeting Brzezinski and Scarborough had with Trump on Friday, which has generated a lot of criticism from Democrats. That meeting was the first time they had spoken face to face with Trump in seven years, The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/morning-joe-hosts-blistered-over-attempt-to-restart-communications-with-trump">reported</a>, and it was done in an effort “to restart communications.”
&#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; co-hosts Scarborough and Brzezinski, who are married, said they talked to Trump about several controversial issues, from immigration to abortion, and did not agree on much but stressed that having open communication was the main goal.
&#8220;For those asking why we would go speak to the president-elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back – why wouldn’t we?&#8221; Brzezinski said. &#8220;Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country. We have been as clear as we know how in expressing our deep concerns about President Trump’s actions and words in the coarsening of public debate.&#8221;

Other MSNBC hosts were also outraged that the meeting happened, with contributor Jennifer Rubin calling it &#8220;disgusting&#8221; on Bluesky, the social media platform started by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey that’s become popular with leftists.
Host Katie Phang <a href="https://x.com/KatiePhang/status/1858520409710182606">posted</a> on X, &#8220;Normalizing Trump is a bad idea. Period.&#8221;
Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central&#8217;s &#8216;The Daily Show,&#8217; answered Brzezinski&#8217;s rhetorical question about why wouldn’t they meet with Trump. “Uh…Because you said he was Hitler.”
Even conservatives are questioning the motives of the meeting. Nikki Haley, who lost the GOP presidential nomination to Trump, weighed in, <a href="https://x.com/NikkiHaley/status/1858573360256393618">posting</a> on X Monday, “Let’s be clear, Joe and Mika didn’t suddenly see the light, they saw their ratings. They realized they needed Trump for their survival.”

Well, folks, it&#8217;s time for Joe and Mika version 3.0.
On Monday, there was a big announcement on Morning Joe that had a lot of heads spinning. Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, who are now a married couple (although, when they first started the show, they were married to other people), decided that it was time for a little <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-reveals-what-was-discussed-in-meeting-with-scarborough-brzezinski">kiss and make up</a> with Donald Trump.
Let’s take a bit of a trip down memory lane with Joe and Mika to understand just how astonishing and dishonest this is.
In 2015 and 2016, Joe and Mika were largely responsible for Trump receiving the Republican nomination. They had him on the air all the time. They sat with him as primary results came in. They were so close that Joe Scarborough was actually asked by radio host Hugh Hewitt if he would be Donald Trump&#8217;s vice presidential  nominee.
Then, after Trump got the nomination and he didn&#8217;t keep making time for Joe and Mika, they decided they were going to favor Hillary Clinton instead, for political reasons. They became quite vicious about President Trump, and they remained vicious for years.

It&#8217;s going to be <a href="https://archive.org/details/MSNBCW_20240913_100000_Morning_Joe">very hard</a> for the former president to convince anybody except for diehard MAGA — the types of people who will follow him anywhere — it’s going to be very hard for him to convince most Americans that he had a modicum of sense.
This is what voters know <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2024/10/24/mika_brzezinski_trumps_obsession_with_hitler_is_huge_news_he_is_killing_women.html">right now</a>: that he is killing us and talking about us women. He is killing us. He is putting us at risk. He is making us afraid to have babies. He is putting our reproductive health at risk. And some women have died already because of this.</blockquote>
They just went on and on and on.
Eight years of “Donald Trump Is Orange Hitler.” Eight years of it. They spent eight long years talking about how he was the threat to the republic. But they were standing in the breach.
Now, after Trump won, it turns out that they want to be friends again.
So Morning Joe&#8217;s team <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/video/6364855233112" target="_blank" rel="noopener">apparently went to Mar-a-Lago</a>. And on Monday, they opened their show by recounting their visit to make kissy-face, nice-nice with President-elect Donald Trump.

Joe: Now, we talked about a lot of issues, including abortion, mass deportation, threats of political retribution against political opponents, and media outlets. We talked about that a good bit. And it’s going to come as no surprise to anybody who watches this show, has watched it over the past year or over the past decade, that we didn&#8217;t see eye to eye on a lot of issues and we told him so.
Mika: What we did agree on was to restart communications. My father often spoke with world leaders with whom he and the United States profoundly disagreed. That&#8217;s a task shared by reporters and commentators alike.</blockquote>
They are walking this thing back. And then, of course, they have to maintain that they are just doing this for the sake of their <a href="https://x.com/simonateba/status/1858512927889699060" target="_blank" rel="noopener">journalistic objectivity</a>.
<blockquote>Joe: Well, of course, you look at the results of the election too, a new approach I think is needed, where, again, we speak truth to power. You didn&#8217;t push back hard with Joe Biden. And you just called Donald Trump “Hitler” for eight years.
So what does this say about the legacy media?
This: They are unbelievable garbage liars. They are such liars. How do you go on bended knee to Hitler?

It&#8217;s the same thing when it comes to Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and so much of the legacy media.
The only entity whose credibility was destroyed in this entire process were the people of the legacy media.

President-elect Donald Trump confirmed on Monday that MSNBC &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski met with him privately at his Mar-a-Lago estate in southern Florida, calling the discussion &#8220;extremely cordial.&#8221;
Trump told <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-says-media-vital-making-america-great-again-vows-work-free-fair-open-press" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fox News</a> that he met with the MSNBC hosts on Friday morning after Scarborough and Brzezinski had requested to talk with him. The &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; anchors told viewers on their show Monday morning the meeting was their first face-to-face discussion with Trump in seven years, saying that they agreed with Trump &#8220;to restart communications.&#8221;
Trump said the leftist hosts &#8220;congratulated me on running a ‘great and flawless campaign, one for the history books,’ which I really believe it was, but it was also a campaign where I worked long and hard — perhaps longer and harder than any presidential candidate in history.&#8221;
&#8220;We talked about various Cabinet members — both announced and to be announced. As expected, they like some very much, but not all,&#8221; Trump added. &#8220;The meeting ended in a very positive manner, and we agreed to speak in the future.&#8221;
Brzezinski said that Trump appeared &#8220;cheerful,&#8221; &#8220;upbeat,&#8221; and &#8220;interested in finding common ground with Democrats on some of the most divisive issues.&#8221; She added that she and her co-host, who is also her husband, continue to hold &#8220;deep concerns&#8221; about a second Trump administration but acknowledged that nearly 80 million Americans made their voices heard about the issues that matter most to them and sent Trump back to the White House.

Brzezinski began by attacking Trump&#8217;s cabinet picks thus far, saying that she agreed with many concerned people she&#8217;d spoken to and &#8220;they are scary.&#8221; Still, she said they had visited Mar-a-Lago to speak with Trump when they got the chance.
Scarborough noted that they had discussed a number of issues with Trump, from abortion to deportations and threats of political retribution — and that, unsurprisingly, they had not agreed on many things.
Brzezinski also revealed that Scarborough had made a personal call to Trump the morning after the first attempt on his life at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

'Morning Joe' Hosts Blistered Over Attempt To 'Restart Communications' With Trump

MSNBC&#8217;s Joe Scarborough expressed shock on Thursday when he learned how expensive the cost of butter was for many Americans, prompting him to ask if it was wrapped in gold.
The moment came on the network&#8217;s &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; show with his wife, co-host Mika Brzezinski, as they discussed why President-elect Donald Trump beat Vice President Kamala Harris.
&#8220;I want to talk about the economy for a second,&#8221; he said. &#8220;A few weeks ago, three weeks ago, somebody who was going to be voting for Kamala Harris came up to me and said, &#8216;Oh my god, Trump&#8217;s going to win.&#8217; I go, &#8216;Why is that?&#8217; He goes, &#8216;I just, I went to the grocery store, butter is over $3.'&#8221;
&#8220;I kind of laughed and I said, &#8216;Well, that&#8217;s kind of reductive, isn&#8217;t it?&#8217; I said it to myself,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;To him, I smiled, and I said, &#8216;Good point.&#8217; But it actually, everything we&#8217;re hearing after the election is&#8211;&#8221;
Brzezinski then interrupted and pointed out that butter actually costs $7, not $3.

&#8220;Okay, well, yeah, okay, well, anyway, my point is this, the rent is too damn high, and this guy was saying the cost of butter is way damn too high,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And so I thought it was a bit reductive.&#8221;
&#8220;It ended up being just the point, that if you look at the cost of groceries, if you look at the cost of gas, if you look at the cost of things compared to four years ago, it was a very simple answer for working-class Americans: things just cost too much,&#8221; he added.

Whoopi Goldberg claimed on Monday that former President Donald Trump, if reelected to the presidency on November 5, would break up interracial marriages solely to deport the non-white spouse.
Goldberg, who hasn&#8217;t been able to say Trump&#8217;s name aloud for years, declared that the former president was &#8220;out there&#8221; and would deport one spouse in order to &#8220;put the white guy with someone else.&#8221;

Guest and regular &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; host Mika Brzezinski weighed in on the former president&#8217;s massive rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, repeating the Democrat narrative that because Nazi sympathizers had once held a rally there in 1939, Trump and his supporters at Sunday&#8217;s rally just also be Nazis.
&#8220;These are the final hours,&#8221; she warned, calling on everyone in the audience to get out and vote.
Referencing the rally, she said that it had &#8220;historic parallels&#8221; and was a &#8220;white nationalist, Nazi-type rally.&#8221;
&#8220;I come with such dire warnings, and I mean them from the bottom of my heart!&#8221; Brzezinski continued, warning that if the American people were to elect Trump a second time it would mean that there was truly no stopping the &#8220;descent into fascism.&#8221;

&#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; regular Katty Kay conceded on Friday that Vice President Kamala Harris does not poll well with men — across a number of demographics — and she suggested a possible solution the campaign might implement in order to bridge that gap.
Kay argued that Harris&#8217; campaign — which has not been terribly forthcoming with regard to answering questions from the press or outlining actual policies that were likely to be implemented in a Harris administration — could have her husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, and her running mate, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), do more from the campaign trail.

Sitting next to his wife and co-host, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/mika-brzezinski" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mika Brzezinski</a>, Scarborough tore into his own network after a <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/14/media/msnbc-morning-joe-pulled-trump-assassination/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CNN source claimed</a> the decision to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/msnbc-pulls-morning-joe-off-air-monday-over-fear-guests-could-make-inappropriate-comment-after-trump-assassination-attempt" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pull the show</a> was meant to avoid the prospect of a guest making an inflammatory comment that could open the program or network to criticism. Scarborough, a former GOP congressman, even suggested the hosts of &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; would quit the top-rated show if it was sidelined again.

&#8220;We were told, in no uncertain terms on Sunday evening, that there was going to be one news feed across all NBC news channels yesterday, and today’s show would be Lester Holt,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Other people that, well, you worked with on Sunday and that was going to be one news feed across all NBC news channels, that we were going to stay as a network in breaking news mode throughout, all day yesterday. That did not happen.&#8221;
Scarborough continued, &#8220;We don’t know why that was — that didn’t happen. Our team was not given a good answer as to why that didn’t happen, but it didn’t happen. We were also told it was going to happen throughout the day. And I guess, after there was such a strong blowback about yesterday morning, I guess they changed their plan. And so those plans changed as well. So it didn’t.&#8221;
The host said, &#8220;We’ve talked about it, off the air&#8221; and stressed, &#8220;We’ll talk about it on the air because we talk about everything on the air.&#8221;
&#8220;We were very surprised. We were very disappointed,&#8221; Scarborough added. &#8220;And if we had known that there wasn’t going to be the one news feed, from NBC news across all NBC news channels, Willie, we obviously would have been in yesterday morning.&#8221;
Willie Geist, another co-host of &#8220;Morning Joe,&#8221; said he was up early to help with coverage on Sunday in the aftermath of the attack on Trump and explained that he was &#8220;suited up and ready to go&#8221; for Monday&#8217;s show, but was told there would be something else airing. &#8220;We want to be here for our audience, and we know you trust us, and we have ultimate respect for you guys. So we are here today. I wish we’d been here yesterday,&#8221; he said.
After Scarborough cut in to emphasize how they would like to figure out why there was not one news feed, Brzezinski explained the reason why they wanted to be there was &#8220;this show began and continues 17 years later on being the place where you can go to have the hard conversations in a civil way and so it seemed like now more than ever is a day — a time we&#8217;d like to be on, and I think our viewers agree with that. So we continue.&#8221;
Scarborough interjected. &#8220;Let me just say, next time we&#8217;re told there&#8217;s going to be a news feed replacing us we will be in our chairs,&#8221; he said. Brzezinski agreed, saying they would be there, and Scarborough went on, &#8220;The news feed will be us or they can get somebody else to host the show.&#8221;

MSNBC pulled &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; off the air on Monday in the wake of the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, opting to continue running breaking news coverage instead.
The leftist network decided not to air the top-rated politics show&#8217;s first broadcast since Saturday&#8217;s deadly shooting over concerns that one of the show&#8217;s guests might make an &#8220;inappropriate comment on live television that could be used to assail the program and network as a whole,&#8221; CNN <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/14/media/msnbc-morning-joe-pulled-trump-assassination/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>, citing a person familiar with the matter.
&#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; will resume airing on Tuesday, the network said.
Trump narrowly missed being killed by a bullet to the head at Saturday&#8217;s campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The bullet grazed the former president&#8217;s right ear, and he ducked behind his podium before being whisked away by Secret Service agents. He raised his fist and shouted, &#8220;Fight!&#8221; as he exited the stage.
Law enforcement returned fire immediately, killing the shooter. At least one rallygoer was killed, and two others were injured.
On social media, some <a href="https://x.com/MarkDavis/status/1812817058951811373" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> MSNBC&#8217;s decision proved that the network does not trust its own highly influential show.
&#8220;Stunning. On this uniquely impactful morning, MSNBC pulls its signature show Morning Joe, for fear that some jackwagon panelist would say something grotesquely inappropriate. Profoundly pathetic&#8230; and probably a wise move on their part,&#8221; conservative radio host Mark Davis posted.
The decision to pull &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; for Monday was made by Cesar Conde, chairman of NBCUniversal News Group, Rashida Jones, president of MSNBC, and the show hosts themselves, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, the source told CNN.
“Given the gravity and complexity of this unfolding story, NBC News, NBC News NOW and MSNBC have remained in rolling breaking news coverage since Saturday evening,” a spokesperson for NBCUniversal News Group said in a statement to CNN.
“As we continue to cover this story into the week, the networks will continue to cross simulcast, alternating between NBC News, NBC News NOW and ‘MSNBC Reports,’ so there is one news feed covering this developing situation,” the spokesperson said.
MSNBC has frequently come under fire for its coverage attacking Trump, some blaming the network for fomenting a heated political atmosphere that could contribute to violent acts.
Scarborough said Sunday that his family is praying for Trump and the other victims of the shooting.
&#8220;Political violence has scarred America’s landscape from JFK through January 6th. Republican and Democratic politicians alike have been victims and this violence has caused incalculable harm to America. Thank God President Trump is safe,&#8221; Scarborough said in a <a href="https://x.com/JoeNBC/status/1812451524385050722">post</a> on X.
MSNBC also previously pulled three Muslim broadcasters off the air in the wake of Hamas&#8217; deadly October 7 attack on Israel.

Joe Biden is in very, very serious electoral trouble.
A brand new <a href="https://emersoncollegepolling.com/june-2024-state-polls-trump-maintains-edge-over-biden/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">set of polls</a> from Emerson Polling finds that Donald Trump is currently up five points in Pennsylvania, five points in Georgia, one point in Michigan, four points in Arizona, three points in Wisconsin, and six points in Nevada.
In other words: a Donald Trump blowout.
Biden&#8217;s team is trying to pretend that all is well and fine, but CNN’s Harry Enten said that the polls are actually worse than they have been for any Democrat since the year 2000. That&#8217;s how bad these polling numbers are.
In an interview yesterday, Enten <a href="https://transcripts.cnn.com/show/cnc/date/2024-07-08/segment/04" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stated</a>:
<blockquote>Right now Donald Trump leads in an aggregate of national polls by about three percentage points. If you go back four years ago at this point, Joe Biden was ahead by nine points. This, right now, [doesn’t] look anything like what we saw four years ago at this point. … The idea that the polls underestimated Joe Biden last time around, simply put, does not hold any water.</blockquote>
He continued:
<blockquote>So, the idea in the Trump era that the polls have underestimated Democrats, whether it be in a Joe Biden matchup, whether it be a matchup against Hillary Clinton, whether it be in the midterms, at least in the national polling that right now shows Donald Trump in his strongest position, simply put, is not true. If anything, the polls have underestimated Republicans during the Trump era, especially in the presidential races in 2016 and in 2020.</blockquote>
The stonewalling and the excuse-making from the White House? None of it is working. And Biden is not going anywhere.

On Monday, Biden put out <a href="https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/letter-the-democratic-party-intention-accept-the-presidential-nomination" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a letter</a> on his intention to accept the presidential nomination, writing to his fellow Democrats:
<blockquote>I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump.
I have had extensive conversations with the leadership of the party, elected officials, rank and file members, and most importantly, Democratic voters over these past 10 days or so. I have heard the concerns that people have &#8211; their good faith fears and worries about what is at stake in this election. I am not blind to them. Believe me, I know better than anyone the responsibility and the burden the nominee of our party carries. I carried it in 2020 when the fate of our nation was at stake.
I also know these concerns come from a place of real respect for my lifetime of public service and my record as President, and I have been moved by the expressions of affection for me from so many who have known me well and supported me over the course of my public life.
I&#8217;ve been grateful for the rock-solid, steadfast support from so many elected Democrats in Congress and all across the country and taken great strength from the resolve and determination I&#8217;ve seen from so many voters and grassroots supporters even in the hardest of weeks.
I can respond to all this by saying clearly and unequivocally: I wouldn&#8217;t be running again if I did not absolutely believe I was the best person to beat Donald Trump in 2024.</blockquote>
That&#8217;s because he is delusional; his brain no longer functions and he is blocking out all outside interference and voices at this point. 
He continued, writing:
<blockquote>We had a Democratic nomination process and the voters have spoken clearly and decisively. I received over 14 million votes, 87% of the votes cast across the entire nominating process. </blockquote>
He didn&#8217;t have an opponent, so there’s that.
<blockquote>This was a process open to anyone who wanted to run. Only three people chose to challenge me. One fared so badly that he left the primaries to run as an independent. Another attacked me for being too old and was soundly defeated. The voters of the Democratic Party have voted. They have chosen me to be the nominee of the party.
Do we now just say this process didn&#8217;t matter? That the voters don&#8217;t have a say?
I decline to do that. I feel a deep obligation to the faith and the trust the voters of the Democratic Party have placed in me to run this year. It was their decision to make. Not the press, not the pundits, not the big donors, not any selected group of individuals, no matter how well intentioned. The voters &#8211; and the voters alone &#8211; decide the nominee of the Democratic Party. </blockquote>
All those voters voted before Biden basically had a mental collapse on stage with Trump, of course. But he&#8217;s not leaving. He’s telling you that he is not going away. But how exactly is Biden going to recapture the magic with the base?
There&#8217;s one outlet he knows he can trust. One place where everybody knows his name. And that, of course, is on &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; over at MSNBC, his favorite show. 
Joe Scarborough, who, just a few days ago after the debate, said that perhaps it was time for Biden to reconsider staying in the race, is back on the bandwagon, and he says the Dems should stop calling for Biden&#8217;s ouster.

Biden allies will likely mock these elites for wanting to substitute their judgment for that of millions of Democratic primary voters.”
There&#8217;s a big problem with that particular argument, which is that the Democratic base is significantly less comfortable with Biden, according to polls, than the Democrat elite.

Yesterday, Mika Brzezinski defended Biden’s performance in an interview with George Stephanopoulos: “It’s not like it’s the first time he flubs his words.”
So Biden called into &#8220;Morning Joe.&#8221; And this was a big moment for MSNBC, the magic moment where Biden had the friendliest reporters to him on planet Earth speaking with him.
The first thing Biden did was make a bad joke about Donald Trump golfing. And then it started to get a little worse because, again, Biden can&#8217;t keep with it. He obviously had notes right in front of him, and he was actually reading from the notes. In fact, at one point during this interview as he read from the script, you could hear him fumble with the papers.
But even with Joe and Mika, he couldn&#8217;t keep it under control. He was asked why he wouldn&#8217;t take a cognitive test. (Biden doesn&#8217;t want to take a cognitive test. He&#8217;s going to fail. That&#8217;s the problem.) So he started protesting about how he doesn&#8217;t need tests; he has been testing himself.
“It drives me nuts, people talking about this,” he said.
Biden was then asked about how he could assure he wouldn’t have a night like the debate again. He started rambling about how people can’t be sure they won’t get hit by a car on their way to work.
It all ended with some shouting, which is what you want from an old man — shouting at clouds.
At the very end of this interview, he started yelling how he&#8217;s frustrated by the elites in the party. He started ripping into the elites because that was his cue from Scarborough. And then he started bristling, “Challenge me.”
I love Joe Biden ripping the elites. That dude has been in Congress since he was 29-years-old. He&#8217;s now 8,211-years-old.

President Joe Biden lashed out at his favorite MSNBC hosts during a Monday morning interview, scolding them for daring to ask about his apparent cognitive decline and whether or not any official testing had been done to evaluate him for any potential age-related conditions.
Biden, 81, whose last two weeks have been punctuated by a disastrous debate performance followed by an &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/democrat-pollster-calls-on-biden-to-resign-now-after-incoherent-stephanopoulos-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">incoherent</a>&#8221; interview with ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos, seemed equal parts frustrated and belligerent when &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; anchors Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski pressed him about his cognitive state.

Brzezinski posed the question, asking, &#8220;Have you been tested for any age-related illnesses — pre-Parkinson&#8217;s or anything like that — that might explain sort of having a night like that where you couldn&#8217;t finish sentences?&#8221;
Biden started out laughing a bit uncomfortably.
&#8220;I was feeling so badly before the debate, when I came back they tested me for &#8230; they thought maybe I had COVID, there was something wrong, I had an infection or something,&#8221; Biden said, suggesting that he had received some medical tests but not directly answering whether he had been tested for anything age-related. &#8220;They tested me, they gave me those tests, I was clear.&#8221;
&#8220;So, but look, I had a bad night,&#8221; Biden continued. &#8220;But the fact of the matter is &#8230; look at what I&#8217;m doing, I mean, let me put it this way. If there was something that was wrong that night, it&#8217;s not like it&#8217;s [unintelligible] that&#8217;s one night and goes away, that&#8217;s why I&#8217;ve been out. I&#8217;ve been testing myself everywhere I go. Going out and making the case. The night of that debate I went out, I was out until two o&#8217;clock in the morning. That very night! That very night! It drives me NUTS people talking about this!&#8221;
