<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/michael-moore">Michael Moore</a> said President Joe Biden announcing he’s out of the 2024 race was a “great start,” but the president must step down immediately so Democrats can beat former President Donald Trump.
In a lengthy article on the <a href="https://www.michaelmoore.com/p/now-we-beat-trump">activist filmmaker’s substack</a>, Moore <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C9tgsmLMXnx/?igsh=MWQ1ZGUxMzBkMA%3D%3D" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a>, “Biden must resign so Harris can run as the incumbent president” so the Democrats can beat Trump as he called on supporters to mobilize to beat the former president.
“It’s been 24 days of mourning since the debate debacle sunk all of us into believing this election was over, that we were going to be abused by Trump for another four years,” Moore wrote. “A sick, sick feeling.”
“But in one shining moment, at 1:46pm [Sunday] afternoon, President Biden, in a true profile in courage, a selfless act for which he will be honored and remembered for years to come, put his country ahead of himself,” he added. &#8220;May I ask you, Mr. President, for one more brave and bold action?”

“Kamala Harris will be in a much stronger position to win if she can run as the President of the United States,” Moore continued. “As the incumbent President. This will give the country a chance to see her in action — as the most powerful person in the world.”
The filmmaker then figured that Harris would have close to four months “to show the American people her smarts, her strengths, her heart.”
Moore then went on to gush about Harris and said if Biden steps down immediately, Harris “will have the power to issue significant executive orders that can provide help to the middle class, protect the environment, restore basic women’s rights…”
He concluded his post claiming Trump was “beatable” and claimed America is a “liberal country.”

Moore then apologized for what he was saying and said if he has to be the only one to protect Biden from the “cruelest form of elder abuse I’ve ever been forced to watch,” then that’s exactly what he will do.

Did not a single person raise their voice to ask, ‘Maybe we shouldn’t do this to him?’ But they did do it to him. And the repercussions that we, the world, and the generations after us will have to suffer through are not even part of the discussion this week. It’s all about making sure he stays in the race — and nothing about the risk to his life he is facing as they push him to soldier onward.”
Moore said that the Founding Fathers knew we would have leaders who wouldn’t be able to carry out their terms and suggested the answer to Biden is Vice President Kamala Harris. &#8220;For the good of the country,&#8221; he said the Democrats should &#8220;leave Mr. Biden alone. Let him rest. Let him go home.&#8221;
The leftist filmaker wrote that Biden resigns and then Harris gets “sworn in as President. By federal campaign rules, she, and only she, inherits all the campaign funds in the Biden-Harris war chest. Biden will urge all his Biden-Harris convention delegates to support her.”
He concluded his long article by saying with Harris now as “the Incumbent President,” “there will be no real convention fight, and nearly every American who had planned to vote for Biden will vote for Harris (as recent polling has revealed).”

During the 70-year-old’s latest <a href="https://open.spotify.com/episode/49XoLLAqyvrrqkx5Hpj1xY">podcast</a> “Rumble with Michael Moore,” the activist film director suggested that it was &#8220;democracy&#8221; in action for these “brilliant” students to take over buildings on campuses as they call for a ceasefire in Gaza following the terrorist attack on October 7, <a href="https://www.mediaite.com/politics/michael-moore-declares-you-have-to-take-over-buildings-during-campus-protests-if-you-havent-started-an-encampment-at-your-college-do-it/">Mediaite</a> reported.
“When I’m talking about nonviolent, I’m talking about you do have the right to take over the administration building,” <a href="https://mynbc15.com/news/nation-world/michael-moore-encourages-student-protesters-to-occupy-buildings-you-do-have-the-right-rumble-pro-palestine-protests-anti-israel-gaza-solidarity-encampment-college-campus-columbia-university" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Moore said</a>, 
“You have to take over buildings,” he added. “That is not violence.”
“I hope it continues,” Moore continued. “I applaud every student who has taken a stand at their campus, at graduation, whatever. This is the purpose of a democracy.”
He then blasted Mayor Eric Adams (D-NY) who he said had called out &#8220;<a href="https://www.mediaite.com/politics/ny-police-deputy-commissioner-brings-chains-used-by-columbia-agitators-into-morning-joe-studio-not-what-students-bring-to-school/">outside agitators</a>” to stop rising tensions on the Columbia University campus, where hundreds of pro-Palestine protestors have been arrested.

One activist protestor, interviewed on his show, admitted that the whole point of these radical takeovers of campuses is “disruption,” the outlet noted.
“There’s the misconception that we’re disrupting. That’s the point,” the activist said. “We’re here to disrupt. Like, thank you for saying we’re disrupting because that’s the truth.”
“We’re here to disrupt your daily lives,” the activist added. “We’re here to show you the urgency.”

Filmmaker Michael Moore <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/shut-the-f-up-bill-maher-slams-the-brakes-on-michael-moores-anti-republican-rant/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Michael Moore</a> weighed in on the 2022 midterm elections — and his prediction of a &#8220;blue tsunami&#8221; — during an <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/nov/14/us-midterms-film-maker-michael-moore-blue-tsunami?utm_term=Autofeed&amp;CMP=twt_gu&amp;utm_medium&amp;utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1668417873" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> that was published Monday by The Guardian.
Moore said that he was surprised by the outcome of <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/breaking-republicans-fail-to-take-back-the-senate-from-democrats-projection/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tuesday’s election</a>, saying that while he’d been certain Republicans would not pull off the predicted red wave, he expected Democrats to do better than simply rearranging a few chairs in the status quo.
“I never doubted it – there was no way the Republicans were going to have some kind of landslide,” he said, but he went on to add, “I don’t have any special powers, I’m not related to Nostradamus or Cassandra, but I was stunned once again that nobody was willing to stick their neck out.”
The discussion turned to strategy, and Moore noted that just before the debates between former President Donald Trump and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, he and several comedians had offered to write her a script of sorts — a series of anti-Trump one-liners that she could throw in his face in the heat of the debate.
“We offered to write great lines to throw at Trump whose skin is so thin – and if she delivered them right – would just slide in and he’ll explode on the stage on live TV. We were all-in on it, and nobody was going to know,” Moore explained.
Comedians Chris Rock, Bill Maher, and Amy Schumer were willing to offer their talents to the effort, Moore said, but the Democratic Party was not on board.
“They said, why would you do that? You know Amy, her comedy is apparently kind of dirty. Chris Rock, well he’s kind of controversial. They didn’t even get to me. They were so afraid of f***ing up and being blamed,” he added.
Still, Moore said that he didn’t believe the strategy should be dismissed out of hand: &#8220;Call me. Call a couple of Monty Python people. Call us!&#8221;

Maher introduced Moore — noting that 2022 marked 20 years since the release of his award-winning documentary &#8220;Bowling for Columbine&#8221; — and teased the filmmaker about his apparent weight loss: &#8220;You look like Michael Less.&#8221;
The topic quickly turned to politics, however — specifically, the midterm elections.
&#8220;So, ah, listen, we&#8217;ve talked about the midterms many times here. I think there&#8217;s sort of a bright spot there in the fact that the country is on the brink,&#8221; Maher began. &#8220;Which, for the first time I can remember, the midterms are sexy. This is the one usually we had trouble getting people to go out and vote for. Now there&#8217;s very high enthusiasm for a midterm election.&#8221;
Moore began by reminding everyone to get out and vote – and then explained why he believed the Democrats were going to have a good year.
&#8220;I honestly believe Bill, and you know, you and I are two well-known pessimists, I think, and I have never felt this optimistic,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And I, and, you know, I was on your show here, what’s, now six years ago when I said that Trump was going to win. And the audience booed me and you stood up for me.&#8221;
&#8220;You know, I’m from the Midwest. I think I had a pretty good sense of what was going to happen. I think the opposite is going to happen this time,&#8221; Moore continued. &#8220;I think that that there is going to be such a landslide against the traitors, especially the 147 Republicans who just hours after the insurrection voted to not certify the elected President of the United States, Joe Biden.&#8221;
&#8220;And I think that there is going to be so many people coming out to vote. I want to thank the Supreme Court for reminding women that they are, in fact, second-class citizens and taking their rights away like this. There are so many,&#8221; he continued. Moore went on to name specific states where abortions had already been restricted in the wake of the Supreme Court&#8217;s decision overturning Roe v. Wade.
&#8220;I think there’s a real revolution, a nonviolent revolution going on in favor of democracy,&#8221; Moore concluded. &#8220;People don’t want to lose it.&#8221;

Hollywood reacted with glee to news that voters in Kansas rejected a pro-life amendment on Tuesday night, insisting the outcome would translate into Democratic victories in November.
Stars like director Michael Moore, actor Jon Favreau, and musician John Legend celebrated after the &#8220;Value Them Both&#8221; amendment lost, blocking the state from removing a right to abortion in the state constitution.
<a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CgyB_VhM7cO/">Moore took to Instagram</a>, referencing the overturning of Roe vs. Wade and the November midterms, writing: &#8220;ROEVEMBER — HERE WE COME! WE ARE ON FIRE! THE MAJORITY OF AMERICA IS WITH US! NONVIOLENTLY CRUSH THE ENEMIES OF WOMEN&#8217;S RIGHTS, DEMOCRACY AND SAVING THE PLANET!&#8221;
&#8220;We have just three months until Roevember,&#8221; he added. &#8220;There are no guarantees. Victory will require each and every one of us to stand up, fight and be fearless. Democrats and [Joe] Biden &#8211; don&#8217;t mess this up! You must pledge to the world you will make Roe v Wade the law of the land and you will eliminate the filibuster. And neither is Kansas!&#8221; the filmmaker told his followers. &#8220;Just a few hours ago, the unthinkable happened — the citizens of the State of Kansas, one of our reddest and most Republican states, voted in an overwhelming landslide by nearly 20 points to keep abortion legal and available to all women! Let this be the word and the warning that goes out to all who seek to take any rights away from women: YOU will not succeed, and you will be defeated in this fall&#8217;s election.&#8221;
Favreau took to Twitter, writing, &#8220;Republican politicians&#8217; extremism is now way out of step with the electorate, even in a red state like Kansas.&#8221;

Filmmaker and activist <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/stephen-colbert-michael-moore-and-other-celebs-compare-trump-voters-republicans-to-taliban/">Michael Moore</a> proposed a new amendment to the U.S. Constitution on Sunday, saying that the American people should be afforded the right to be kept safe both from gun violence and the fear it could affect their lives.
<a href="https://dailywire.com/news/michael-moores-surprise-july-4-manifesto-i-will-not-shut-up/">Moore</a> proposed a <a href="https://www.michaelmoore.com/p/the-28th-amendment">28th Amendment</a> to the Constitution — which he said would repeal and replace the 2nd Amendment — and laid out a detailed description of what that new amendment would entail.

&#8220;The inalienable right of a free people to be kept safe from gun violence and the fear thereof must not be infringed and shall be protected by the Congress and the States. This Amendment thus repeals and replaces the Second Amendment,&#8221; Section 1 of Moore&#8217;s proposed amendment read.
Section 2 outlined the restrictions that would be imposed for the few situations in which legal firearms could be acquired: a national registry and licensing program that would allow firearms to be used for hunting, target shooting, and — in very limited cases where people could demonstrate a legitimate need — self defense. Section 2 also proposed an extensive background check, including a mental health check and interviews with partners and exes — and a mandatory one-month waiting period.
Section 3 called for a written test and a firearm safety course — which would be required on an annual basis — and Section 4 raised the minimum purchase age to 25.
Section 5 listed the firearms — including some that have not yet been invented — that would be banned under the proposed amendment.

Moore&#8217;s amendment also called for Congress to regulate the types and amounts of ammunition that would be legal for purchase — in addition to gun storage, body armor, and gun sights, among other things.
Police officers, according to Section 7, would be allowed to continue to train and use firearms but would be subject to constant monitoring and stripped of their firearms — and their jobs — if they were found to be racist or violent at any time.
The final section demanded that anyone who already owned a firearm banned under his propose plan would have one month from its ratification to surrender it for destruction.
The responses to Moore&#8217;s proposal poured in:

On Monday, in honor of America’s Independence Day, arch-leftist filmmaker Michael Moore <a href="https://www.michaelmoore.com/p/my-declaration">issued a laundry list of demands</a> in order for him to stay in the country.
Moore first quoted the Declaration of Independence by saying he was “standing up for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
Then he issued his ultimatum, starting with this absurd premise: “I refuse to live in a country threatened by white supremacy — and I’m not leaving. So we‘ve got a problem.”
Claiming he himself was blessed with “full citizenship” but women and girls have been rendered “official second-class citizens” by the recent SCOTUS decision overturning Roe v. Wade,  Moore ranted that they had been “conscripted to a life of Forced Birth should they fall pregnant and not want to be.”
Moving on from abortion, Moore turned to another Democratic Party staple: race. With typical hyperbole, he huffed, “I demand an end to the mass incarceration of Black Americans, an end to police shooting Black people, and I demand that reparations be made to the Black community for all they currently have to suffer and endure.”
But having posited the supposed anti-women, anti-black nature of America, how to solve the problem? Simple: “I insist we remove every single Republican from office in November. The Republican Party has dismantled itself and its remaining rogue elements now exist purely to overturn legitimate election results and overthrow the elected will of the vast majority of the American people.”
Moore then segued to promises he intended to keep:
<blockquote>Until women’s rights have been fully reinstated, and their equal rights are enshrined in our Constitution (now that the required 38 states have passed the Equal Rights Amendment), I will not shut up about this.</blockquote>
No surprise there; if silence is indeed golden, Moore would be a perpetual pauper.
“I won’t stop until Roe is reinstated and 51% of Congress is female,” he threatened.
Of course, the Democratic Party is a trifle confused about what a woman is, so there’s no telling how many of Moore’s candidates may be biological men.
“I will help to organize a massive Get Out The Vote drive amongst the millions who follow me on social media, listen to my podcast, and read my Substack column,” he boasted. “I will help lead a national strike, in whatever form it needs to take, and if we want to see immediate change, watch what happens when we shut down even 10% of the country.”
Referencing his long-gone halcyon days of yore, he chortled, “POOF! goes Wall Street! Hit ‘em where it counts.”

After an initial period of silence, Hollywood is beginning to speak out on events in Afghanistan with takes that go far to the left of even the legacy media. Here are a few of the most eyebrow raising comments of the last few days.

The late night CBS host is arguably the most popular celebrity comparing some Americans to the Taliban, though he’s by no means the only one.
On Monday night, the comedian expressed agreement with President Biden’s widely criticized speech in which he argued that the Taliban’s almost-immediate recapture of the region doesn’t mean it wasn’t the right decision.
“We have had troops there for 20 years,” Colbert said. “They fought, they sacrificed, their families sacrificed so that we wouldn’t have a terrorist attack in America planned in a foreign country.” He then added, “Why should our soldiers be fighting radicals in a civil war in Afghanistan? We’ve got our own on Capitol Hill.”
The “Late Night” frontman, finished with a serious meditation on how, though it feels wrong, he believes the U.S. troop withdrawal was the “right thing.” Said Colbert:

All that’s changed is that there’s nothing we can do about it now. Though striking a milder tone than his late night counterpart, the NBC host also referenced the January 6 riots in relation to events in Kabul. “The Taliban yesterday entered the city of Kabul and took control of Afghanistan’s presidential palace,” Meyers said before delivering the punchline, “Most Americans watched in horror, while some Americans watched for tips.”
The SNL alum also claimed former President Trump is happy about how events have played out, saying, “Former President Trump released a statement on Friday amid the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan and, yeah, he’s enjoying this.”
Rosanna Arquette
As The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/rosanna-arquette-compares-republicans-to-taliban">reported</a> Monday, actress Rosanna Arquette has posted multiple tweets comparing Republicans to the Taliban including:

Despite plenty of negative reaction to her comments, on Tuesday night, the actress again appeared to double-down on this opinion, <a href="https://twitter.com/RoArquette/status/1427793791075848193?s=20">posting</a> applause emojis under a response that added “Or Republicans” to her <a href="https://twitter.com/RoArquette/status/1427789344719269892?s=20">tweet</a> that said, “We can never ever ever trust the Taliban …”

Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore expressed similar sentiments, juxtaposing images of the Capitol Hill rioters with Taliban fighters, with the <a href="https://twitter.com/MMFlint/status/1427435010387189762?s=20">caption</a>, “Their Taliban, our Taliban, everybody’s got a Taliban. They’re at their best when they confiscate the halls of power.”
Later, the Oscar winner expressed views even liberal Hollywood might feel uncomfortable with, <a href="https://twitter.com/MMFlint/status/1426903694315040773?s=20">saying</a>, of the U.S. armed forces who were on the ground in Afghanistan, &#8220;WE are the invaders. The Taliban are not invaders — they’re Afghans — it’s their country! They’re religious nuts. We know what that looks like — we have our own!&#8221;
Other celebrities stopped short of comparing Trump supporters or Republicans to the Taliban, but they did blame the Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal from the region on the former President.

While many media commentators at Democrat-friendly outlets like CNN and The New York Times have somewhat framed the scene in Kabul as a bipartisan failure, the Divine Miss M says Trump alone owns the catastrophe.
&#8220;#Republicans are trying to pin the blame for #Afghanistan withdrawal on Biden.  Don’t believe it,” <a href="https://twitter.com/BetteMidler/status/1427337412481626115?s=20">said</a> the “Beaches” star. “It was #F**kUpTrump and #Pompeo who never included the Afghan government in their peace talks with the Taliban.  This should be laid at Trump’s fat feet.
Sophia Bush 
The “One Tree Hill” actress, who has grown more politically outspoken in recent years, <a href="https://twitter.com/SophiaBush/status/1427221444463824902?s=20">argued</a> that the “Trump Administration set this ball rolling, and did not include ANY human rights standards for the Taliban to follow.” She later added, “those trying to blame Biden for this are gross political actors, all while AFG people are being terrorized. Period.”
George Takei
The actor best known as Sulu on “Star Trek” let loose about the criticism President Biden has received for the horrific scenes unfolding across America&#8217;s TV screens, arguing that the administration is doing the best it can with the bad hand it was dealt.
“The When Biden took office, 45 had left a sh*t show,” Takei <a href="https://twitter.com/GeorgeTakei/status/1426948024253784064?s=20">argued</a>. He then listed the problems he believes Trump left his successor, including, “Raging pandemic,” “Spiraling economy,” Resurgent Taliban,” and “Capitol insurrection.”
“We shouldn’t expect miracles, yet Biden delivered some,” the actor concluded. “So let’s keep perspective and not let the GOP blame their myriad failures and problems on him.”
Takei also took a spicier tone while dealing with the subject, <a href="https://twitter.com/GeorgeTakei/status/1427447836623478785?s=20">saying</a>, “If you supported 45’s Muslim Ban, you don’t get to lecture others about saving refugees from Afghanistan. You just get to sit your ass down.”

Back to late night, when it comes to Afghanistan, one host was willing to take aim at the other side of the aisle. The “Tonight Show’s” Jimmy Fallon joked, “You can tell things aren’t good for Biden, because today he said, ‘You know, maybe the election was stolen.’”

“One extraordinary lesson we can learn is what Stacey Abrams and all her companions did in Georgia. People should learn from that, because that’s the way to go,&#8221; Peck said, later adding: &#8220;It was ten years of a hard work, house-per-house, person-per-person; they had to convince people, they had to really educate, and they had to lose sometimes. So that’s the price we will have to pay, that we need to pay, if we really want changes.”

Moore also recalled the Black Lives Matter riots that rocked American cities last summer, saying that change will only come when people take to the streets.
“Twenty to 30 million Americans in the streets last summer and fall was something that had never happened in this country before,” Moore said. “These boots on the ground, when people realize we’re not going to affect change simply by writing our member of Congress or tweeting or Facebook — but not that you shouldn’t do those things — that is not enough, because this is a big fight.”

While Raoul Peck and Michael Moore may appreciate Stacey Abrams, their love may be short-lived if the Democrats get wiped out in the state of Georgia come the mid-term elections due to her extremist rhetoric regarding the state&#8217;s voter integrity law. In April, after the MLB pulled the all-star game from the Peach State, the situation became so politically untenable that Abrams openly distanced herself from the calls to boycott. In a statement to <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/stacey-abrams-georgia-voting-laws-hollywood-boycott-stay-fight-1583501">Newsweek</a>, Fair Fight, the voter organization founded by Stacey Abrams, told Hollywood and other companies to “stay and fight” the new law as opposed to boycotting the state.
“Brian Kemp and Georgia Republican lawmakers are singularly responsible for any job that is lost and any dollar that goes out of Georgia, because they prioritized suppressing voters of color over the economic well-being of all Georgians,” Fair Fight spokesman Seth Bringman told Newsweek.
“We urge events, productions, and businesses to come to Georgia and support the very communities that will [sic] whose access to the ballot will be hurt by Senate Bill 202. Come to Georgia and speak out against voter suppression. Stay and fight,” the statement added.l
As The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/knee-jerk-hypocritical-and-illegal-mlb-sued-for-boycotting-georgia-over-election-reforms">reported</a> this week, Job Creators Network sued the MLB, Commissioner Rob Manfred, the MLB’s players union, and union executive director Tony Clark in a federal court over the league&#8217;s decision to boycott the state.
“MLB robbed the small businesses of Atlanta – many of them minority-owned – of $100 million, we want the game back where it belongs,” Job Creators Network President and CEO Alfredo Ortiz said in a <a href="https://www.jobcreatorsnetwork.com/press_releases/jcn-files-suit-against-major-league-baseball/">statement</a>. “This was a knee-jerk, hypocritical, and illegal reaction to misinformation about Georgia’s new voting law which includes Voter-ID. Major League Baseball itself requests ID at will-call ticket windows at Yankee Stadium in New York, Busch Stadium in St. Louis, and at ballparks all across the country.”
“Small businesses in this community had valid contracts relating to the All-Star Game and other events, the result of two years of planning and all that was ripped away by fear and misinformation spewed by political activists. Many states, including Colorado where the game has been moved, have similar or more restrictive election laws,” he continued. “This move essentially tells fans of teams in many other cities that they can never again host the All-Star Game; it’s hypocritical, illegal, and we won’t stand for it.”

Leftist filmmaker Michael Moore has called upon Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) to close down the state immediately, further endangering the economic lives of her citizens, despite widespread economic damage from the state’s earlier round of lockdowns.
Speaking on an <a href="https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ep-182-emergency-podcast-system-shut-down-michigan/id1490354763?i=1000516877831">emergency episod</a>e of his podcast &#8220;Rumble,&#8221; Moore said that the rising number of COVID cases in the state has created a &#8220;tragedy&#8221; that he called upon Whitmer to correct. According to Moore, Whitmer has been crippled by fear from the many violent threats she has received.
“I hate to say this, because I voted for her for governor, but she has been scared by people who seek to do violence to her, who bullied her,&#8221; Moore said. &#8220;The business community — the Chamber of Commerce — who have insisted that she reopen everything and this has brought a tragedy upon this upon the state, and so I need everybody’s help in pressuring … Governor Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat, to close things down.&#8221;
Moore insisted that Whitmer should ignore the cries of the business community, recommending that they apply for government help to keep themselves afloat. He also highlighted that Whitmer comes from a business background and is not anti-business.
“Do not listen to the business community. Yes, they are losing money,&#8221; he said. &#8220;There are programs to help them with getting some of this money back, and what they can’t get back, there should be other programs that the Biden administration establishes so that these businesses don’t go bankrupt.&#8221;

Moore said that Whitmer needs to shut down everything and pushed more fear by stressing that the pandemic could last as many as three or four years.
“Shut down the restaurants, the bars, the businesses,” Moore said. “People, stay home, just for a little bit. Stay home from school, just for a little bit. We made a mistake in reopening the state of Michigan too soon. Stop this back and forth.”
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director has also called upon Whitmer to shut down the state of Michigan, a move that Republican lawmakers in the state <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/coronavirus-michigan-cdc-shutdown-republicans">sharply rebuked</a>.
&#8220;It’s clear that Michigan is a hot spot for COVID-19. To prevent further spread and save lives, the Biden Administration should adopt a surge strategy and increase vaccine allocation to Michigan instead of advocating for shutting down the economy,&#8221; said Rep. Bill Huizenga (R-MI). &#8220;Manufacturers, restaurants, and small businesses alike are still trying to recover from the mandated government shutdowns over the past year.&#8221;
&#8220;Shutting down the economy again is not the answer,&#8221; the congressman added.
Michael Moore has been fear-mongering about the pandemic since the outset. In December of last year, the documentary filmmaker told Trump supporters to wear masks and socially distance, warning that their deaths would kill Republican leadership.
“I have two words for MAGA Nation: Don’t Die,” <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CITq-dbHnA6/?utm_source=ig_embed">he said</a>.
“Your love of and loyalty to Trump isn’t worth your life,” he added. “With 73 million of you refusing to wear a mask and to social distance, there’ll be no way to eradicate this disease. And a lot of you are going to die.”
Moore likened the death rate to al-Qaeda killing Americans every 37 seconds.
“Why do you want to infect your spouse, your parents, your children? By now, despite your bluster and anger, I KNOW that YOU know that this pandemic is real,” he said. “One person is dying every 37 seconds? What do you think that is? If al-Qaeda started killing one American every 37 seconds, what would you want to do about that? Why are you doing NOTHING to stop this slaughter? What will it take for you and I to join, arm in arm, to kill Covid-19? The death of your mother? Your son? Where’s the exact line where you’ll say enough is enough?”
