A long time ago, in a galaxy not far away, Mark Hamill was the man. After an appearance on “The Bill Cosby Show” in 1970 and a recurring role on “General Hospital” from 1972 to 1973, as well as other forays into television, he would go on to portray the Jedi Luke Skywalker in a little trilogy known as “Star Wars.” 
Since that time, Hamill has done myriad other things, though in recent years he’s become more known for his political temper tantrums on social media than his acting work. Some highlights include referring to Joe Biden as Joe-bi-Wan Kenobi — because our “Weekend at Bernie’s” president was definitely reminiscent of the Jedi master. He&#8217;s made a habit of fanboying over other left-leaning celebrities online, like Stephen King. He’s spoken positively about the Lincoln Project. He’s openly wished for <a href="https://x.com/AceofSpadesHQ/status/2052464309268103302">President Donald Trump to die</a>. 
In short, Luke has embraced the power of the Dark Side, though not for power or money, but for attention. On the internet. Because his brain is addled by his seething hatred of a politician. Totally normal stuff, alas, as politics has replaced religion for far too many people. 
While Hamill deleted the post on Bluesky, the social media equivalent of Mos Eisley combined with the Death Star, the internet is forever. He can’t wave his hand and say, “This is not the depiction of Trump in a grave you thought you saw.” As such, that image is out there, and it’s not going anywhere. He’s also unlikely to face any consequences for it.
In the media&#8217;s eyes, why should he? It’s not like he <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/mandalorian-actress-hits-back-after-fans-demand-firing-for-mocking-trans-people">listed</a> his pronouns as beep/boop/bop or questioned our questionable response to COVID-19, both far graver sins than wanting to put a fellow human being in a grave because you disagree with his foreign policy and tax plan. As a society, we have to have standards.
He should regret his post, though. While Hamill is not actually a Jedi, there is much to learn from that character, one focused on being righteous and good. Did Skywalker kill? Well, yes, he did blow up the Death Star, but he didn’t revel in murder. He didn’t suggest it was maybe okay to dabble in the Dark Side because he really didn’t like Palpatine, a character who actually killed people and was arguably worthy of assassination himself.
In real life, Hamill embodies very few of the traits that his character exuded. Instead, he hews more closely to his fictional father, getting caught up in ends-justify-the-means arguments. Also, and this bears repeating, while people get way too emotionally invested in politics, Donald Trump is not the devil. He is not a fascist dictator working to destroy our democracy. He is not the American edition of Emperor Palpatine, though the Empire probably would have liked the electoral college, at least <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/starwarsspeculation/comments/pgo0uw/comment/hbcsrso/">according to this guy</a> on Reddit. 
Granted, Hamill <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/celebrity/articles/mark-hamill-apologizes-posting-image-200049626.html">has apologized</a>, sort of, for his AI-generated image of Trump in a grave. He’s also clarified that he doesn’t want Trump dead, instead wanting him to “live long enough to &#8230; be held accountable for his &#8230; crimes.” Presumably, it’s okay if Trump dies after he’s held accountable for his crimes, whatever they are. Hamill didn’t elaborate, though he’s a dedicated poster, so perusing his Bluesky feed might offer some clues. As I value my mental health more than Luke, I’m not going to do that. 
He also hedged, adding, “[I] apologize if you found the image inappropriate.” In other words, he doesn’t actually feel bad about the image, but he cares enough about his public image to do a modicum of crisis PR and remind you that if you disliked it, that’s a you problem and he’s sorry that you’re of the type who isn’t into wishing death upon people. 
It’s a sad fate for the man to end up this way. Perhaps he thought his career was going to be larger than it was, particularly given the movies that launched it. Perhaps he’s just obsessed with attention. Maybe he suffered a little brain damage in the 1977 car accident that required facial reconstructive surgery.
Whatever the case, as a society, it would be foolish to expect entertainers to share every view we hold. But it’s not too much to ask to expect them not to go around wishing death upon people. It’s not healthy to give in to Palpatine and let the hate flow through us. We shouldn’t want to be Darth Vader. 
We should instead want a world of Luke Skywalkers, resilient individuals who fight when necessary, but also embrace peace and love. For as a man a long time ago, in a galaxy that is far away, reminded us, it’s unwise to embrace hatred in a futile quest to destroy an imaginary evil.

Hollywood stars like <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/mark-hamill" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mark Hamill</a>, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/mandy-moore" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mandy Moore</a>, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/james-woods" target="_blank" rel="noopener">James Woods</a> and others have opened up about leaving and losing their homes as the wildfires in Southern California continue to burn.
In a post on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DEjZIqvR3uE/?hl=en">Instagram</a>, Hamill wrote that he evacuated his Malibu home where there were “fires on both sides of the road” burning as LA County firefighters battled the fire blazing thanks to high speed Santa Ana winds, leading to tens of thousands of evacuations in the Palisades Fire, Hurst Fire, and Eaton Fire, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/multiple-fires-blaze-throughout-la-county-prompting-thousands-of-evacuations">reported</a>.
He also posted that he, his wife, and his dog were able to safely evacuate to his daughter Chelsea’s home in Hollywood, adding that it was the “most horrific fire since ’93. STAY SAFE!”
Actress Mandy Moore took to her social media account and wrote in an Instagram Story, “Evacuated and safe with kids, dog, and cats. Praying and grateful for the first responders,” <a href="https://ew.com/mark-hamill-other-stars-detail-evacuating-la-amid-horrific-palisades-fire-8771183">Entertainment Weekly</a> noted. “Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night. Trying to shield the kids from the immense sadness and worry I feel. Praying for everyone in our beautiful city. So gutted for the destruction and loss. Don&#8217;t know if our place made it.&#8221;
Actor James Woods was one of the stars whose home didn’t make it after he initially posted on <a href="https://x.com/RealJamesWoods/status/1876780073845408023">X</a> that he had safely evacuated the area, only to share later that his home was gone. Later Tuesday night, Woods broke down in tears during his appearance on CNN about the fire that had burned up his entire street, <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/mark-hamill-la-fire-malibu-evacuation-dog-trixie-1236104022/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to The Hollywood Reporter.
“There was so much chaos, it was like an inferno. Every house was on fire around us,” Woods said. “We were evacuated with the clothes on our back.”
“One day you are swimming in your pool, and the next day it’s all gone,” Woods said as he broke down.
He then <a href="https://x.com/atrupar/status/1877038067543900278">recalled</a> how his wife Sarah last night was on the phone with her 8-year-old niece who came out with her Yeti piggy bank “for us to rebuild our house,&#8221; he said as he got even more emotional.

Reality TV stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag also lost their Palisades homes in the fire and shared on social media that the “Nightmare came true,” along with a video of their home being engulfed in flames, <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/01/08/entertainment/jamie-lee-curtis-home-possibly-affected-from-palisades-fire/?utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_campaign=nypost">Page Six</a> noted.
Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt had nothing but praise for the first responders trying to battle the blaze to save homes like hers.

&#8220;I have no words. Only prayers and holding as much hope as I can for our home and our kids while we watch everything burn,&#8221; Hewitt’s post on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DEkUTRrJmyQ/?img_index=2">Instagram</a> read. &#8220;Thank you to every first responder fighting so hard for all of us. Thank you to every friend who reached out and new person I have hugged in tears in the last 24 hours.&#8221;
Chris Pratt and Candace Cameron Bure also took to Instagram pleading for people to pray for the firefighters and those with homes in the area.
&#8220;Please send prayers and strength tonight to everyone in Los Angeles affected by these devastating fires. Los Angeles is in a state of emergency and over 30,000 have been ordered to evacuate,&#8221; Pratt’s post <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DEjHSkbpWYT/?img_index=1">read</a>. &#8220;Thank you to the brave firefighters and first responders who are working tirelessly to protect lives, homes, and wildlife as they battle fast-moving wildfire fueled by fierce winds. You are true heroes, and we are endlessly grateful for your sacrifice and courage.”
The “Full House” star wrote in her <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DEjKrH5pxTS/">post</a> on Wednesday, “Pacific Palisades, Altadena, Sylmar and Sepulveda pass are still burning. I woke up to the same flames. Our sweet Palisades is destroyed. So many memories. We are praying God pours rain down on Los Angeles. Thank you firefighters and first responders for everything you’re doing to keep people safe and fight these fires. You are true heros. So many memories.”
Actor and director <a href="https://x.com/hwinkler4real/status/1877039729192902999">Henry Winkler</a> called the scenes of the devastating fire surreal and biblical. “So many people have lost everything. Across this country, the suffering by nature alone is unimaginable, everybody who is alive and safe, thank the Lord.”
<a href="https://x.com/mariashriver/status/1877042569999237354">Maria Shriver</a> posted on Wednesday that they had to evacuate the area as well, writing, “Heartbreaking, devastating, beyond belief. Everything is gone. Our neighborhood, our restaurants. All our friends have lost everything. We have evacuated, but are safe. But people have lost everything. The firefighters have and are doing their best, but this fire is massive and out of control, and now there are multiple fires burning across Los Angeles.&#8221;

Numerous Democratic politicians and celebrities will join a &#8220;White Dudes for Harris&#8221; call on Monday evening to promote Vice President Kamala Harris&#8217;s presidential campaign.
More than 80,000 people have signed up, <a href="https://x.com/dudes4harris/status/1817977115528265920" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to the virtual event&#8217;s organizers, who said participants would &#8220;welcome Vice President Harris to the presidential race and pledge to help get her elected.&#8221; Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, who is being floated as a potential VP pick, and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) are expected to <a href="https://x.com/harris_wins/status/1817960396327903534" target="_blank" rel="noopener">headline</a> the virtual event, which begins at 8:00 p.m. ET on Monday.
North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper — another VP contender — gun control activist David Hogg, &#8220;Star Wars&#8221; actor Mark Hamill, and singer Josh Groban are also expected to make appearances.

Team Trump blasted the &#8220;White Dudes for Harris&#8221; event as &#8220;more desperate pandering&#8221; from the Harris campaign.
“White Dudes for Harris is more desperate pandering from the same campaign that thinks cooking collard greens and making cringy, inauthentic calls into the BET awards is outreach to the Black community. Kamala Harris is the most unpopular Vice President in history because she’s inauthentic and dangerously liberal,&#8221; Team Trump Black Media Director Janiyah Thomas said in a statement to The Daily Wire. &#8220;On the contrary, President Trump’s engagement with diverse communities is completely authentic as he shows up in our neighborhoods, meets people where they’re at, and offers solutions to fix the problems created by the Biden-Harris Administration’s failed policies. That’s why President Trump continues to increase his support from Americans of all backgrounds across the country.”
Anyone can RSVP for the call by submitting their name and email, and the sign-up form does not ask any questions about race or sex. The organizers also urge people who RSVP to donate to the Harris Victory Fund and direct them to ActBlue, a fundraising platform used by Democrats.
The &#8220;White Dudes for Harris&#8221; call was organized by political activist Ben Wessel and <a href="https://x.com/MikeNellis/status/1817209765405032533" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mike Nellis</a>, a former advisor to Harris, according to the <a href="https://www.nysun.com/article/white-dudes-for-harris-zoom-call-draws-celebrity-attendees-and-tens-of-thousands-of-sign-ups" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York Sun</a>. Wessel previously <a href="https://www.climateone.org/people/ben-wessel" target="_blank" rel="noopener">worked</a> as the Director of NextGen Rising where he pushed for &#8220;progressive policies with a focus on mobilizing the voters who care most the issues: young people.&#8221; Wessel also worked on the campaigns of Sen. Cory Booker and former President Barack Obama. Wessel is currently the Director of State and Local Political Affairs for the <a href="https://www.emersoncollective.com/collective" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Emerson Collective</a>, an activist organization focused on the environment, education, immigration, and race and equity.
Nellis is the founder of Authentic, a digital marketing agency that has been used by the campaigns of<a href="https://authentic.org/case-studies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Democrats</a> such as Rep. Schiff, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs, the Senate Majority PAC, and President Joe Biden.
Harris supporters have also held calls targeting other specific groups based on race and sex. &#8220;Win With Black Women&#8221; said that it has raised more than $1.5 million in support of Harris since she became the presumptive Democratic nominee. A &#8220;Win With Black Men&#8221; call also reportedly raised $1.3 million for Harris&#8217; campaign, while a &#8220;White Women: Answer the Call&#8221; virtual event attracted nearly 200,000 people over Zoom and raised more than $11 million, CBS News <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/kamala-harris-grassroots-organizers-raise-millions-online-campaign-first-week/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
Harris supporters have also held calls for Latinas and South Asian women to boost the vice president&#8217;s campaign.

Actor Mark Hamill crashed Friday&#8217;s White House press briefing — the day before Star Wars Day (May the Fourth) — and instead of taking questions about the popular Sci-Fi/Fantasy franchise, all he wanted to do was gush about President Joe Biden.
Hamill, who played the role of Jedi Luke Skywalker in George Lucas&#8217; original trilogy, joined White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre at the lectern and told reporters how happy he had been to meet the president&#8217;s staff.
He opened with a joke, saying that when Biden had invited the actor to call him &#8220;Joe,&#8221; he&#8217;d asked whether he could call him &#8220;Joe-Bi-Wan-Kenobi.&#8221;

She died &#8220;peacefully&#8221; at her home near Zurich in Switzerland after a long illness, publicist Bernard Doherty confirmed.

Actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/mark-hamill">Mark Hamill</a> has lent his voice as a Jedi from &#8220;Star Wars&#8221; to a new air-raid app being used in Ukraine to warn residents of an incoming aerial bombardment from Russia.
The 71-year-old actor—best known for his role as Luke Skywalker in George Lucas&#8217; hit franchise—urges people to seek shelter in his familiar voice as a Jedi knight, the <a href="https://apnews.com/article/russia-ukraine-star-wars-luke-hamill-app-08ec03bf1a2c9c0378857090079f00f9">Associated Press</a> reported.
&#8220;Attention. Air raid alert,&#8221; Hamill tells people when the downloadable app linked to Ukraine&#8217;s air defense system goes off. &#8220;Proceed to the nearest shelter.&#8221;
&#8220;Don’t be careless,&#8221; Hamill&#8217;s voice advises. &#8220;Your overconfidence is your weakness.&#8221;
And when it is safe for residents to come out from their shelter, the famed &#8220;Star Wars&#8221; star announces in his Jedi voice &#8220;the air alert is over. May the Force be with you.&#8221;
Once air raid sirens start howling, the &#8220;Air Alert&#8221; app not only tells Ukrainians to seek cover but that Russian missiles, bombs and deadly exploding drones may be incoming, the report noted.
The use of a Hollywood star — from movies about the universe being involved in a fictional war — being used in a real war between Russia and Ukraine is almost surreal. However, Hamill said he&#8217;s admired the resilience of Ukraine &#8230; &#8220;under such terrible circumstances&#8221; and he is glad to help in any way he can.
&#8220;A fairy tale about good versus evil is resonant with what&#8217;s going on in Ukraine,&#8221; Hamill said. &#8220;The Ukrainian people rallying to the cause and responding so heroically &#8230; It&#8217;s impossible not to be inspired by how they&#8217;ve weathered this storm.&#8221;
&#8220;Here I sit in the comfort of my own home when in Ukraine there are power outages and food shortages and people are really suffering,&#8221; he added. &#8220;It motivates me to do as much as I can.&#8221;
A 38-year-old business manager in the capital, Kyiv, Olena Yeremina, said hearing Hamill&#8217;s &#8220;May the Force be with you&#8221; first made her laugh, and now that humor has given her strength.
&#8220;It&#8217;s a very cool phrase for this situation,&#8221; Yeremina added. &#8220;I wouldn&#8217;t say that I feel like a Ukrainian Jedi, but sometimes this phrase reminds me to straighten my shoulders and keep working.&#8221;

The New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2016/09/11/hamills-pressured-me-to-have-an-abortion-nathan-hamills-ex/">reported</a> in 2016 that Maegan Chen, then 30, a former adult movie star, was suing in a California court to establish paternity, saying Hamill’s son Nathan, then 37, fathered the child and joined Hamill and his wife Marilou to pressure Chen to have an abortion.
“Mark Hamill told me that I shouldn’t bring a child into the world that nobody wants,” Chen told The Post, adding that Mark Hamill told her Nathan was “not ready to be a father.”
Chen said Nathan Hamill told her to end the pregnancy; she took two pills in order to do so, but they didn’t work. Chen showed the Post a text message after the pills failed that allegedly was sent by Nathan Hamill that stated, “If you keep it, we won’t hang out anymore.”
Other alleged texts from Nathan Hamill Chen shared:
“No money from a trust fund and no money from my parents. And you could be paying me child support if I have custody.”
“Just told my dad. My mom is really upset now. Today’s been a nightmare. I don’t know how I’m gonna last in this house with my family until July.”
Chen said she visited the Hamills in London and that Marilou Hamill arranged a medical appointment for her.
“I thought I was going to get an ultrasound of the baby, not a referral for an abortion,” she stated, adding that when she refused and returned to the United States, she received an email from an account linked to Mark Hamill written by Marilou, the CFO of Hamill’s production company, “Meagan, you blew it. &#8230; I don’t want you to think this is a money making endeavor because you will be extremely disappointed.”
A spokesman for the Hamills told the Post, “This matter is of a sensitive nature, as well as confidential, and as such, the Hamill family is unable to provide a comment at this time.”
Chen’s daughter Autumn was born on October 31, 2016, <a href="https://radaronline.com/videos/mark-hamill-son-nathan-in-child-custody-war-with-baby-mama/">Radar Online</a> reported in May 2017, adding, “On March 13, 2017, Nathan filed court documents in Clark County, Nevada, attempting to put the matter to rest legally.”
Chen stated, &#8220;Nathan originally told me he’d pay $500 a month in child support. Now he has blocked me on social media and blocked my email and phone number. &#8230; I have only seen him in court.&#8221;
&#8220;He is trying to run me down financially,” she claimed. “I had to sell my dog and cats, piano, and camera equipment just to pay for baby supplies and her stroller. &#8230; Whatever the court says is fair for child support, I’m fine with. But I want Nathan to put Autumn under his insurance. He needs to be responsible.
“As for Nathan, he&#8217;s claimed in court papers obtained by Radar that Chen lives in Nevada and is attempting to maintain a residence in California in order to get more money,” Radar Online reported.

The social media site is overrun with bots. Way back in 2017, CNBC <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2017/03/10/nearly-48-million-twitter-accounts-could-be-bots-says-study.html">reported</a> that &#8220;as many as 48 million Twitter accounts aren’t people.&#8221; But Musk plans to change that. Conservatives are well aware of how Twitter limits their accounts. The social media giant can “shadow-ban” accounts, which means their posts don&#8217;t even appear on their followers newsfeeds. Plus, Twitter can simply purge an account&#8217;s followers and censor any content they choose by labeling it &#8220;hate speech” or “harassment.”
Other Twitter users claimed liberals&#8217; plunging numbers were simply people shutting down accounts over Musk&#8217;s acquisition.
&#8220;Its [sic] people leaving because of Elon most likely,&#8221; one user <a href="https://twitter.com/shouxing3/status/1518810447419363329">wrote</a>.
Others speculated that Twitter was purging bots as part of the sale.
&#8220;Its [sic] a bot purge. They have to do some due diligence for the sale. I bet having millions of fake accounts will be a problem so they are deleting,&#8221; <a href="https://twitter.com/FPWellman/status/1518742818822496259">wrote</a> one user.
&#8220;However, largely missing from the list of users complaining about a loss of Twitter followers were conservative and right-wing accounts. In fact, a number of users in this group actually gained followers in the last 24 hours,&#8221; Fortune magazine <a href="https://fortune.com/2022/04/26/twitter-accounts-left-losing-followers-right-gaining-musk-buyout-sealed/">reported</a>. &#8220;While users like Michelle Obama, Bernie Sanders, and Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez all lost more than 10,000 followers overnight, according to data from social media analytics tracker SocialBlade, conservatives like Ted Cruz, Newt Gingrich, and Laura Ingraham all gained.&#8221;

On Tuesday, actor Mark Hamill, famed for playing the iconic Luke Skywalker in Stars Wars films, delivered what he thought was an eloquent speech bashing the Florida “Parental Rights In Education” law that has been deliberately and insidiously mis-nicknamed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, a bill that, <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/dont-say-dont-say-gay/">in truth</a>, bars schools from discussing sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade classrooms and never mentions the word “gay” anywhere.
The silver-tongued Hamill tweeted one word almost 70 times, like this:

In 2016, after the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Hamill said that Luke Skywalker could be gay.
The film’s director, J.J. Abrams told <a href="http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/02/26/j-j-abrams-gay-characters-coming-to-star-wars.html">The Daily Beast</a>, “When I talk about inclusivity it&#8217;s not excluding gay characters, it’s about inclusivity. So of course.&#8221; &#8220;
&#8220;I would love it,&#8221; he said. &#8220;To me, the fun of Star Wars is the glory of possibility. So it seems insanely narrow-minded and counter-intuitive to say that there wouldn’t be a homosexual character in that world.”
According to the <a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3478443/Star-Wars-hero-Luke-Skywalker-gay-says-actor-plays-Mark-Hamill.html">Daily Mail</a>, Hamill said in an interview, &#8220;&#8216;Fans are writing and asking all these questions: &#8216;I’m bullied in school… I’m afraid to come out.&#8217; They say to me: &#8216;Could Luke be gay?'&#8221;
He continued, &#8220;I’d say it is meant to be interpreted by the viewer. If you think Luke is gay, of course he is. You should not be ashamed of it. Judge Luke by his character, not by who he loves.&#8221;
Hamill has an apparent penchant for weighing in when Southern states pass conservative laws; in March 2021, after Georgia passed a law banning abortion following the detection of a fetal heartbeat, Hamill cheered those who supported a boycott of the state:

In March 2019, Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) hilariously used images from the Star Wars series to trash the “Green New Deal” championed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her allies, including an image of Luke Skywalker atop a tauntaun on the ice planet Hoth in “The Empire Strikes Back.” Lee quipped, “Not only are tauntauns carbon-neutral, but according to one report &#8216;a long time ago&#8217; and &#8216;far, far away,&#8217; they may even be fully recyclable for their warmth on especially cold nights.”
That prompted Hamill to snipe, “I was foolish to think this was photoshopped. Had I recognized that this guy was a Republican, I would have instantly realized this was his argument against Global Warming. #CongressSmellsBadOnTheInside.”

Hamill&#8217;s original tweet has drawn more than 6,000 replies and has been retweeted 21,000 times. More than 175,000 have liked the post.
Hamill&#8217;s move follows an announcement from Facebook last week that it would allow politicians to run advertisements on the social media platform without policing the veracity of their content. In his tweet, Hamill linked a New York Times story about Facebook&#8217;s decision.
Rob Leathern, Facebook&#8217;s director of product management, defended the move, saying, &#8220;Ultimately, we don’t think decisions about political ads should be made by private companies.&#8221;
&#8220;In the absence of regulation, Facebook and other companies are left to design their own policies. We have based ours on the principle that people should be able to hear from those who wish to lead them, warts and all, and that what they say should be scrutinized and debated in public,&#8221; Leathern said.
Other high-profile figures who have deleted their accounts include the singer Cher, comedian Will Ferrell, actor Jim Carrey and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
“Borat” actor Sacha Baron Cohen criticized Facebook in a November speech as he accepted an award from the Anti-Defamation League, saying that if Facebook had existed during Adolf Hitler’s reign atop the Third Reich, he could have posted “30-second ads on his ‘solution’ to the ‘Jewish problem.’”
Facebook fired back, saying Cohen “misrepresented Facebook’s policies” because Facebook bans hate speech.
Hamill deeply loathes President Trump. He even takes his animosity toward Trump out on his grandchildren.

Weeks after Trump was elected, Hamill lashed out.
“I’m in total denial,” Hamill told The Daily Beast. The actor who played Luke Skywalker, who now hosts a show called &#8220;Pop Culture Quest,&#8221; said: “I’m glad I have [the show] to take my mind off what’s going on. Because if you look at what’s being assembled for our government it’s like, yikes. It’s a who’s-who of really despicable people.”
While he may have quit Facebook, Hamill remains active on Twitter and Instagram (which, by the way, is owned by Facebook). Twitter, though, has banned all political advertisements from its platform, with the company&#8217;s chief executive Jack Dorsey tweeting that he believed &#8220;political message reach should be earned, not bought.&#8221;

Ivanka posted a photo of her family on Saturday wherein her youngest son, three-year-old Theodore, was dressed as a Stormtrooper. She captioned the post, “The Force is strong in my family.”

Hamill’s extreme hatred for President Trump has been promoted by the Left on numerous occasions, including in a special Christmas write-up from The Washington Post last December. Unsurprisingly, Hamill has <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/luke-skywalker-asked-compare-trump-darth-vader-you-james-barrett">said</a> Trump is worse than fictional Star Wars villain Darth Vader. 
“Listen, I really get upset then when people compare [Trump] or even Dick Cheney to Darth Vader … ’cause Darth Vader repented. He saw the error of his ways. I don’t see either one of them doing that,” Hamill told the Post.
Hamill also made news for his hatred for Republicans back in March. As noted by <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/mark-hamill-blasts-mike-lee-using-star-wars-paul-bois">The Daily Wire</a>, the actor took a shot a Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) for daring to use Star Wars imagery to fight freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s radical Climate Change proposal dubbed the &#8220;Green New Deal.&#8221;
“I was foolish to think this was photoshopped. Had I recognized that this guy was a Republican, I would have instantly realized this was his argument against Global Warming. #CongressSmellsBadOnTheInside,” Hamill posted to Twitter, captioning a photo of Sen. Lee using the Star Wars imagery. 
Hamill later added via Twitter, “I’m using an oversized photo of [Senator Mike Lee] as a prop to push my #MAGA (#MoronsAlwaysGaslightAmericans) #TrustTheScientists agenda. #ClimateChange.”
