Every candidate for Democratic National Committee chair agreed on Thursday that &#8220;racism and misogyny played a role&#8221; in former Vice President Kamala Harris&#8217; election defeat.
Eight DNC chair candidates, including former presidential candidate Marianne Williamson and former Social Security Administration Commissioner Martin O&#8217;Malley, were part of an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYGNpj0qqow" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MSNBC forum</a> at Georgetown University, where they answered various questions from network hosts Jen Psaki, Symone Sanders, and Jonathan Capehart. After a question from Capehart for all the candidates, each agreed that Harris lost to President Donald Trump partly because of a culture of racism and misogyny.
&#8220;So, I’m going to have a show of hands. How many of you believe that racism and misogyny played a role in Vice President Harris’ defeat?&#8221; Capehart asked.
Every candidate quickly raised their hands as did the audience members.
&#8220;That&#8217;s good. You all passed,&#8221; Capehart said.

Republicans and political commentators blasted the DNC chair candidates&#8217; response to Capehart&#8217;s question. More than 77 million Americans voted for Trump over Harris in 2024, including a <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2024/11/07/trump-black-latino-men-working-class-00188185" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shift</a> from Hispanic and black men in Trump&#8217;s favor. Trump also made gains among <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/yes-trump-improved-young-men-drew-young-women-rcna179019" target="_blank" rel="noopener">young women</a> in his election victory over Harris.
Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) <a href="https://x.com/TTuberville/status/1885293199138095210" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a> on X, &#8220;I&#8217;m already looking forward to expanding our majority in 2026.&#8221;

Throughout the forum, some candidates berated Trump and the Republican Party, claiming they were threats to the country. The DNC chair will be <a href="https://apnews.com/article/dnc-chair-winter-meeting-wikler-martin-27c12854863eb1d0753db741352b5dfa" target="_blank" rel="noopener">elected</a> by members on Saturday. Outgoing chairman Jaimie Harrison announced he would not run for another term after Democrats lost the White House and control of the Senate after the November election.

Former Democratic presidential hopeful <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/marianne-williamson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marianne Williamson</a> weighed in on the controversy over Haitian migrants and whether or not reports of them taking and eating ducks from local parks — or even cats from their neighbors&#8217; homes — were grounded in reality.
Williamson took to X to express her thoughts on the matter, and declared that voodoo — the religion that is prevalent throughout much of the island nation of Haiti — was a real thing that should not be dismissed outright. In addition, she argued that people dismissing the notion as crazy in an effort to attack former President Donald Trump would likely backfire come Election Day.

The controversy exploded after residents of the city of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/what-you-need-to-know-about-the-ohio-town-overrun-by-haitian-immigrants">Springfield, Ohio</a> — where thousands of Haitian migrants have been resettled and given special legal status under the Biden-Harris administration — said at a city commission meeting that they had witnessed the migrants taking ducks from the local parks, cutting off their heads, and taking them home to eat them. Others alleged that the migrants had stolen farm animals to eat as well.

Former President Donald Trump mentioned the reports during Tuesday evening&#8217;s debate on ABC with Vice President Kamala Harris, and moderator David Muir jumped in to &#8220;fact-check&#8221; Trump. He claimed that ABC had spoken with the city manager, who said that the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/elderly-springfield-ohio-resident-says-shes-been-followed-groped-amid-haitian-migrant-influx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">multiple reports</a> of migrants stealing and eating pets were unfounded.

When voters head to the polls in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/texas" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Texas</a> this November, there is a small chance they will find &#8220;Literally Anybody Else&#8221; listed on the ballot underneath President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> and former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a>.
Funny as they may be to some, the option would not be a fluke. In fact, North Texas man Dustin Ebey legally changed his name <a href="https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/politics/lone-star-politics/literally-anybody-else-us-presidential-candidate/3498994/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">earlier this year</a> to <a href="https://literallyanybodyelse.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Literally Anybody Else</a> so people have an eye-catching alternative.
&#8220;I really want there to be an outlet for folks like me who are just so fed up with this constant power grab between two parties that has no benefit for the common person,&#8221; Else said, according to <a href="https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/local/north-texas-man-changes-name-to-literally-anybody-else-now-running-for-president/287-b6e35d3a-6f6e-48b3-89bb-f4e70c53a984" target="_blank" rel="noopener">local ABC affiliate WFAA</a>.

Else, a 7th grade math teacher and Army veteran, said the challenge is a &#8220;hard&#8221; but not &#8220;not impossible&#8221; one. He needs to get more than <a href="https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/politics/lone-star-politics/literally-anybody-else-us-presidential-candidate/3498994/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">113,000 signatures</a> from non-primary voters by May 13. His other option is to be a write-in candidate.
&#8220;This isn&#8217;t about me, &#8216;Literally Anybody Else,&#8217; more so as it is an idea. We can do better out of 300 million people for president,&#8221; he said. Else added he would &#8220;love&#8221; to get on the debate stage and bring the &#8220;reality&#8221; that Biden and Trump &#8220;are not enough.&#8221;
Although Biden and Trump have virtually <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-locks-up-gop-nomination-after-racking-up-4-more-primary-victories" target="_blank" rel="noopener">locked up</a> the nomination of their respective parties, <a href="https://www.ipsos.com/en-us/most-americans-are-dissatisfied-their-choices-president" target="_blank" rel="noopener">polling shows</a> most Americans are dissatisfied with their choices for president and grow tired of the two-party system.
<a href="https://www.realclearpolling.com/latest-polls/president/general-election" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Robert F. Kennedy Jr.</a>, who is running as an independent after a break with the Democratic Party, has <a href="https://www.realclearpolling.com/latest-polls/president/general-election" target="_blank" rel="noopener">repeatedly notched</a> double-digit support in 2024 surveys. His main challenge at the moment is <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/apr/01/robert-f-kennedy-jr-north-carolina-ballot-2024-elections" target="_blank" rel="noopener">getting on the ballot</a> in all 50 states.
While other candidates have suspended their campaigns, including former South Carolina Governor and ex-U.S. Ambassador <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nikki-haley-drops-out-does-not-endorse-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nikki Haley</a> and <a href="https://au.news.yahoo.com/dean-phillips-drops-long-shot-181606823.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN)</a>, there remain in the mix some competitors who seek to disrupt the state of play.
One such person is Jason Palmer, who scored an <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/joe-biden-notches-first-loss-on-super-tuesday" target="_blank" rel="noopener">upset victory</a> last month in American Samoa&#8217;s Democratic nominating contest, handing Biden his first defeat in the 2024 election cycle and <a href="https://www.npr.org/2024/03/06/1236244459/long-shot-jason-palmer-deals-president-biden-a-caucus-defeat-in-american-samoa" target="_blank" rel="noopener">collecting a few delegates</a>.
Palmer, a venture capitalist from Maryland, acknowledges on his <a href="https://palmerforpresident.us/faq/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">website</a> that he is a &#8220;&#8230; longshot candidate with very little chance of winning&#8221; and stresses that his campaign is &#8220;more focused on ideas, solutions and changing the conversation.&#8221;
He wants &#8220;conscious capitalism&#8221; — which Palmer <a href="https://www.c-span.org/video/?534622-3/jason-palmer-2024-presidential-bid" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told C-SPAN</a> involves &#8220;people who create business for good and invest in businesses for basically socially-improving purposes — a &#8220;people first talent economy,&#8221; and &#8220;modernizing government.&#8221;
Yet another person who is still running for the White House as a Democrat is <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/marianne-williamson-launches-another-bid-for-president-as-a-democrat" target="_blank" rel="noopener">self-help author Marianne Williamson</a>. She <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2024/02/07/marianne-williamson-drops-long-shot-2024-presidential-bid.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suspended</a> her campaign in early February only to <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/02/28/marianne-williamson-unsuspending-campaign/72771674007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">resurrect it</a> a few weeks later after <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/02/27/us/elections/results-michigan-democratic-presidential-primary.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">winning 3%</a> in the Michigan primary.

Williamson previously sought the presidency in the 2020 election. Upon <a href="https://twitter.com/MaryMargOlohan/status/1762827066582470933" target="_blank" rel="noopener">&#8220;unsuspending&#8221;</a> her campaign this time around, Williams said people &#8220;cannot sit idly by while the D.C. political class sleepwalks this country into disaster.&#8221;
A &#8220;winning&#8221; platform, <a href="https://twitter.com/MaryMargOlohan/status/1762827066582470933" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to Williamson</a>, includes &#8220;Medicare for All,&#8221; tuition-free college, subsidized childcare, &#8220;repudiating America&#8217;s forever war machine,&#8221; a &#8220;guaranteed living wage,&#8221; and ending the &#8220;War on Drugs.&#8221;
Liberal activist <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/green-party-candidate-cornel-west-democrats-beyond-redemption-bernie-and-aoc-are-window-dressing" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cornel West</a> is also running for president. West made waves in October when he dropped his Green Party bid to campaign as an independent. Like some of the others, he <a href="https://twitter.com/CornelWest/status/1709944683500355884" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted to X</a> about how people are &#8220;hungry&#8221; for a change.
&#8220;They want good policies over partisan politics. We need to break the grip of the duopoly and give power to the people,&#8221; West said, adding he was running as an independent to &#8220;end the iron grip of the ruling class and ensure true democracy!&#8221;

As much as Americans do seem to <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/01/13/biden-trump-rematch-lead-in-polls/72087419007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lack enthusiasm</a> about a 2020 rematch between Biden and Trump, polls show them in a close race anyway. Moreover, insurgent-organized efforts to shatter the paradigm in the White House contest have dragged their feet this election cycle.
No Labels, which had touted the idea of a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/no-labels-chief-expresses-interest-in-haley-joining-ticket" target="_blank" rel="noopener">&#8220;Unity Ticket,&#8221;</a> announced on Thursday that it would be ending a search after failing to find <a href="https://twitter.com/LokayFOX5/status/1775960207673237824" target="_blank" rel="noopener">viable candidates</a>.
Though the group said &#8220;the responsible course of action&#8221; was to stand down, it noted, &#8220;Americans remain more open to an independent presidential run, and hungrier for unifying national leadership, than ever before.&#8221;
For voters who have become disenchanted with the state of politics, there is someone they can reliably turn to — for kicks, if not a competitor who actually has a shot of winning. That person is Vermin Supreme, the perennial candidate <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qy_fMmfKDhk" target="_blank" rel="noopener">known for wearing a boot</a> on his head.
&#8220;Vermin Supreme will take away your guns and give you better ones. These better guns will shoot marshmallows, but they will still be lethal,&#8221; he <a href="https://www.wmur.com/article/new-hampshire-iop-lesser-known-candidates-forum-23/46069998" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> at a New Hampshire forum in December. Vermin Supreme ended up <a href="https://apnews.com/hub/ap-new-hampshire-election-2024-results" target="_blank" rel="noopener">getting</a> 0.7% in the state&#8217;s Democratic primary in January.

Two Democrats challenging President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> in the 2024 primary are calling foul over the absence of planned debates.
Declared candidates <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/robert-f-kennedy-jr" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Robert F. Kennedy Jr.</a> and self-help author <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/marianne-williamson-launches-another-bid-for-president-as-a-democrat" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marianne Williamson</a> took aim at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) after <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/04/20/biden-reelection-announcement-next-week/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Washington Post reported</a> the national Democratic Party said it will support Biden and has no plans to sponsor primary debates.
&#8220;The DNC, at this point, has taken the official position that there will be no debate, and I think that’s unfortunate,&#8221; Kennedy Jr. <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/radio/2023/04/24/exclusive-rfk-jr-slams-dnc-for-rigged-primary-no-debates-moving-south-carolina-to-first-state/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told Breitbart News</a>.
He also lamented how the DNC <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/dnc-passes-new-primary-calendar-making-south-carolina-first-and-kicking-out-iowa/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">passed changes</a> that would make South Carolina, where Biden began his primary comeback in 2020, the first nominating state on the party&#8217;s presidential primary calendar ahead of Iowa and New Hampshire.
“There’s too many Americans who already think that the whole system is rigged against them. And this is confirmation of that. And I think that’s troubling,” Kennedy Jr. said.
Williamson, who previously ran for president in the 2020 election, <a href="https://twitter.com/marwilliamson/status/1650355650835218432" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tweeted her dismay</a> with the DNC on Monday.
&#8220;As though there simply ARE no other candidates … no other ideas we should discuss about ways to win in 2024, or other ideas we should discuss about ways to repair the country,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Too many people are too smart to accept this.&#8221;

On the Republican side, where former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a> is seeking re-election <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/larry-elder-announces-presidential-bid" target="_blank" rel="noopener">among a growing pool of candidates</a>, Fox News has been <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2023/04/12/us/politics/republican-primary-debate-milwaukee.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">chosen to host</a> the first primary debate in August.
Biden has said he intends to seek re-election but has yet to make an official announcement. The <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/04/20/biden-reelection-announcement-next-week/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Washington Post reported</a> last week that aides were finalizing plans to release a video on Tuesday to officially launch Biden&#8217;s campaign.
A mere 26% of Americans and 47% of Democrats want Biden to run again, according to a recent Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll. The <a href="https://apnews.com/article/joe-biden-poll-2024-white-house-economy-873663f6e3cbca8f2dae2f018c8be9d3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">same poll</a> found 78% of Democrats say they approve of Biden&#8217;s job performance, and 81% said they would at least probably support Biden if he becomes the nominee in the general election.
Biden&#8217;s expected announcement comes as some, <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2023/04/22/opinion/editorials/biden-age.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">including the New York Times editorial board</a>, raise concerns about his age and fitness for office. Already the oldest person to be president at 80, Biden would be 86 at the end of a second term.

Biden Challengers Rage Over Lack Of 2024 Dem Debates

<a href="https://dailywire.com/news/marianne-williamson-launches-another-bid-for-president-as-a-democrat/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marianne Williamson&#8217;s</a> former staffers accused her of verbal abuse, claiming that she was prone to angry outbursts during her 2020 presidential campaign.
Twelve of her former staffers reportedly <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2023/03/16/marianne-williamson-abusive-treatment-2020-campaign-staff-00087268?nname=playbook&amp;nid=0000014f-1646-d88f-a1cf-5f46b7bd0000&amp;nrid=b869a543-cbd5-45e0-b46b-5726538fae81&amp;nlid=630318" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told Politico</a> that Williamson — who was a self-help author and spiritual adviser before she threw her hat in the ring as a presidential candidate — was a very different person behind closed doors than she claimed to be.
Williamson just launched her second bid for the Democratic presidential nomination on March 4.
&#8220;It would be foaming, spitting, uncontrollable rage,&#8221; one former staffer told Politico, on condition of anonymity. &#8220;It was traumatic. And the experience, in the end, was terrifying.&#8221;
<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/marianne-williamson-2020-campaign-staffers-allege-abusive-behavior-democratic-presidential-candidate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Multiple staffers</a> confirmed to the outlet that the candidate&#8217;s outbursts were loud enough on several occasions to prompt welfare checks from hotel security, and at least three cited incidents in which Williamson allegedly threw her phone at staffers who had set her off. All of the staffers who were interviewed recalled seeing her yell at people until they cried.

Paul Hodes (D-NH), Williamson’s 2020 New Hampshire state director, appeared to confirm the accounts made anonymously by other staffers, telling Politico, &#8220;Those reports of Ms. Williamson’s behavior are consistent with my observations, consistent with contemporaneous discussions I had about her conduct with staff members, and entirely consistent with my own personal experience with her behavior on multiple occasions.&#8221;
Williamson responded to the accusations in a statement, claiming that her former staffers were trying to curry favor with &#8220;the political establishment&#8221; by attacking her. &#8220;This Presidential Campaign expects concerted efforts to dismiss and denigrate us. But the amplification of outright lies should not occur.&#8221;
She did confirm one incident that several of the staffers had recalled — when she got angry during a campaign trip to South Carolina and reportedly pounded a car door so hard with her fist that she eventually had to go to urgent care. &#8220;A car door is not a person. I would never be physically hurtful to a person,&#8221; she said.
She also dismissed accounts of her yelling at staffers on occasion, adding, &#8220;I find it hard to believe that people in politics have never raised their voice before.&#8221;

Democratic 2024 presidential candidate <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/marianne-williamson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marianne Williamson</a> said Sunday that her primary campaign is not about taking on President Joe Biden, but a rigged system.
&#8220;I see this campaign as challenging a system,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I have no interest in taking potshots on any person, let alone to this president. He&#8217;s a nice man.&#8221;
Appearing on ABC&#8217;s &#8220;This Week,&#8221; Williamson said she&#8217;s targeting the political establishment, especially within the Democratic Party. She officially announced her bid to unseat Biden on Saturday.
&#8220;I want to be president because this country needs to make an economic U-turn,&#8221; Williamson said. &#8220;And the system that effectuates and perpetuates that kind of income and opportunity inequality is not changing itself. It tweaks itself every once in a while. There&#8217;s some incremental change. But the devastation, the ubiquitous economic despair and human devastation that is produced by this sociopathic economic system is not changing. And it&#8217;s not going to change if we continue to elect the same-old, same-old.&#8221;
Williamson dismissed claims that she is an unserious candidate with extremely long odds to beat Biden or any other leading candidate. She said those allegations were perpetuated by &#8220;the system,&#8221; which promotes the idea that only entrenched politicians should be considered serious candidates for higher office despite many of them being part of the problem.
&#8220;I believe the American people should be offered an agenda for genuine, fundamental economic reform,&#8221; she added. &#8220;And it should be the voters who decide. It should not be the DNC that decides. It should be the voters who decide. That is what a democracy is.&#8221;

The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/where-does-marianne-williamson-stand-issues-heres-josh-hammer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">noted</a> that Williamson, who was born in Houston, is Jewish and would become the first Jewish nominee for a major American political party if successfully nominated. She studied for two years at Pomona College, although she subsequently dropped out. She published her first book in 1992, and spent much of the 1990s and 2000s as a frequent television guest on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” among other popular programs.
In 2014, Williamson ran as an independent in the election for California’s 33rd Congressional District — a heavily Democratic section of Los Angeles. In her race, she ran as a <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20140226020125/http://www.marianneforcongress.com/issues" target="_blank" rel="noopener">full-spectrum progressive</a>, emphasizing civil liberty, humanitarian, environmental, and welfare state issues. Williamson eventually finished fourth out of 16 candidates, thus failing to qualify for a run-off in California’s “jungle primary” system. Although unusual in her candidate profile and general aura, Williamson <a href="https://iowastartingline.com/2019/02/03/love-reparations-and-fighting-back-a-marianne-williamson-iowa-tour/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">describes</a> herself as a “pretty straight-line progressive Democrat.”

Former presidential candidate <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/marianne-williamson">Marianne Williamson</a>, 70, is teasing a challenge to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">President Joe Biden</a> for the 2024 Democratic nomination. 
The self-help guru went viral during the 2020 primary debates but, like <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kamala-harris" target="_blank" rel="noopener">then-Senator Kamala Harris</a> (D-CA), dropped out before voting started. Williamson later endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Now, she says she will have a special announcement to make early next month. 
“As America gears up for the 2024 presidential election, I’m preparing an important announcement on March 4th in Washington DC,” Williamson said. 
She told <a href="https://www.politico.com/newsletters/west-wing-playbook/2023/02/17/marianne-williamson-is-entering-the-chat-00083513" target="_blank" rel="noopener">POLITICO</a> on Friday that she took issue with Biden running on the economy, saying such a campaign speaks to the “disconnect” between party elites and the American people. Her campaign strategy, she said, would be to “tell the truth.”
Joe Biden is expected to run again, but has not formally declared his intentions. A Williamson candidacy, however, would be Biden’s first high-profile challenger for 2024 — and possibly his only one if Democrats stay in line. 
When Williamson was asked bluntly on Friday about critics who say she has “no conceivable path forward” and another campaign would simply be a “vanity project,” the would-be candidate invoked other movements throughout American history. 
“Abolitionists would not have thought that abolishing slavery was possible,” Williamson said. “The suffragists would have had days when they didn&#8217;t think women&#8217;s suffrage was possible. Civil rights workers would have thought that desegregation wasn&#8217;t possible.”
Williamson rose to prominence as the author of 14 books who made regular appearances on the Oprah Winfrey show. She ran a failed independent House campaign in 2014 and is the founder of Project Angel Food, which delivers food to sick people, and a co-founder of the education and activist group Peace Alliance.

Former Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson got into a testy exchange with independent journalist Megyn Kelly during a Tuesday appearance on &#8220;The Megyn Kelly Show.&#8221;
At the beginning of the show, Williamson complained that too many Americans were mired in their political corners — a fact that she said led people to react to things as Republicans or Democrats rather than reacting to things as Americans.
&#8220;Eisenhower said that the American mind at its best is both liberal and conservative. We are E Pluribus Unum, we are different political views, we are different ideologies,&#8221; Williamson began. &#8220;But there must be some unifying principles on which we agree to agree.&#8221;
&#8220;Whether it’s Biden that is behaving in an outrageous way or it is Trump behaving in an outrageous way, we shouldn’t respond to these things just as Republicans or Democrats. We should respond to them as Americans,&#8221; Williamson continued.
Kelly quickly responded with a list of examples of President Joe Biden <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/an-unconstitutional-invasion-republican-senators-to-challenge-biden-vaccine-mandate-report/">behaving</a> in a way she thought was outrageous.
&#8220;We see Joe Biden do things like the eviction moratorium, which he knew, he knew was unlawful. And the same thing with the mandate on the vaccines, he knew it was going to get struck down but he did it anyway,&#8221; Kelly said.
&#8220;If we’re going to be based in reality, let’s be based in reality. And this president misleads us at every turn — and the media misleads us at every turn. When it comes to media, when it comes to ‘Russiagate,’ I mean, and we’re supposed to just look at the ‘orange man bad’ and blame it all on him,&#8221; she continued.
Williamson fired back, arguing that everything Kelly had said played into the &#8220;us versus them&#8221; narrative: &#8220;Even what you’re just saying stays stuck in the right versus left.&#8221;
Kelly argued that her position was not so much &#8220;right versus left&#8221; as it was &#8220;right versus wrong.&#8221;
Williamson went on to complain about both major parties, noting that both Biden and former President Donald Trump had continued <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/biden-admin-likely-to-restart-oil-and-gas-leases-after-federal-court-ruling/">domestic oil production</a> — and Kelly pushed back.
&#8220;We have to do it — We have to do it, Marianne. People who need to power their houses and need cheap energy cannot get by with the prices we’re going to impose on them,&#8221; she said, explaining that the high cost of forcing a move to green energy was not feasible for most Americans.
&#8220;If we had started a just transition to clean energy back when Jimmy Carter first talked about it, we would not be vulnerable to Russia the way we are right now,&#8221; Williamson complained. &#8220;This used to be a country that knew how to respond to emergencies.&#8221;
The two women butted heads again over whether or not the United States should focus on strengthening the military — Kelly argued that not strengthening the military after the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan was a display of weakness.
&#8220;Not flexing that muscle — going into the fetal position was a disaster!&#8221; Kelly said.
Williamson, clearly not thrilled with the direction of the conversation, asked, &#8220;Do I get to talk now?&#8221;
She turned the conversation back to green energy, arguing that dependence on Russian oil — and oil from other countries — was the problem, and that moving to green energy would eliminate that problem.
&#8220;If we had moved into green energy — into clean energy over the last few years when we should have — we wouldn’t need to be horsed to Russia.&#8221;
Kelly pushed back again, saying that the United States had been <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/msnbc-anchor-admits-its-insane-that-us-is-not-energy-independent/">energy independent</a> when Trump was president. &#8220;There’s nothing wrong with natural gas!&#8221;
Williamson disagreed, however, saying, &#8220;This is America, a free society, we don’t all have to agree on everything. You say there’s nothing wrong with natural gas. A lot of people have a problem with that.&#8221;

Former Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson ripped far-Left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NYC) this week over the &#8220;Squad&#8221; member&#8217;s apparent &#8220;bulls***&#8221; and &#8220;doublespeak&#8221; concerning House Speaker Nancy Pelosi&#8217;s (D-CA) leadership of the Democratic Caucus.
AOC was recently asked by The New Yorker magazine if she thinks it&#8217;s &#8220;healthy&#8221; for the Democrat Party that Pelosi remains Speaker, Fox News <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/marianne-williamson-aoc-nancy-pelosi">reported</a>:
<blockquote>&#8220;It’s really all about a specific moment that we’re in,&#8221; Ocasio-Cortez responded. &#8220;We are in such a delicate moment of the day-to-day, particularly with the threats to our democracy. I believe that, at the end of the day, there’s going to be a generational change in our leadership. That is just a simple fact. Now, when that particular moment happens? I think it’s a larger question of conditions and circumstance.&#8221;
&#8220;You don’t want to go near this one,&#8221; New Yorker&#8217;s David Remnick said.
&#8220;It’s a tough question,&#8221; the lawmaker said. &#8220;It’s not even just a question of the Speaker. It’s a question of our caucus. I wish the Democratic Party had more stones. I wish our party was capable of truly supporting bold leadership that can address root causes.&#8221;</blockquote>
The response did not at all satisfy Williamson, a fellow far-Left progressive.
&#8220;There are many times when I really appreciate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, but this is not one of them,&#8221; the former Democratic presidential candidate <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/marianne-williamson-aoc-nancy-pelosi">told</a> Status Coup&#8217;s Jordan Chariton on Tuesday. &#8220;That was such bulls***. That was such to doublespeak.&#8221;
&#8220;&#8216;At the end of the day.&#8217; When is that ‘end of the day’ going to be? When these people turn 95? Is that when the end of the day is going to be, that we&#8217;re just going to wait?&#8221; Williamson mocked AOC&#8217;s response. &#8220;I mean, these people who are 80, 85, 90 holding on to this kind of power, not allowing the leadership to come up. So then Alexandria Ocasio Cortez says ‘well, it will happen at the end of the day.’ How much time do these people think they have?&#8221;
&#8220;And I think that members of the Squad such as her know that many people are getting very frustrated that they&#8217;re not making more noise,&#8221; the author continued. &#8220;And so that answer that you just quoted does not work for me.&#8221;
&#8220;It just breaks my heart the way Republicans are more willing to stand up to their leaders than so many Democrats,&#8221; Williamson conceded. &#8220;Why is Nancy Pelosi still there? And you know, I&#8217;m old enough to remember when she had some progressive spunk to her, but she doesn&#8217;t now.&#8221; 
&#8220;This is a woman who had to be convinced that maybe insider trading- allowing stock ownership- she had to be, like, convinced maybe that&#8217;s not good!&#8221; she added. &#8220;What are we waiting for? What are we waiting for?&#8221;

“With an estimated 11 million listeners per episode, JRE, which is hosted exclusively on Spotify, is the world’s largest podcast and has tremendous influence,” the letter continued. “Spotify has a responsibility to mitigate the spread of misinformation on its platform, though the company presently has no misinformation policy.”</blockquote>
Spotify responded by agreeing to remove Young&#8217;s music as requested. In addition, the streaming platform announced it will include a disclaimer at the beginning of programs about COVID-19.
Rogan responded with a video on Instagram to address the changes.

Seemingly concerned that the Democratic presidential ticket isn’t resonating with enough voters, Marianne Williamson, the spiritual advisor and former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, has called for firings at the Biden campaign over its “sophomoric” tweets.
“Fire your copywriter and fire your strategist. Your tweets are sophomoric,” Williamson told the 2020 Democratic ticket in a tweet on Sunday afternoon. “Trust us enough to say what you really think. More people agree with you than you have any idea. Engage our passion by speaking from your own.”

While it’s unclear if Williamson’s tweet was in response to something specific, she didn’t hesitate to offer other advice to the Democratic ticket throughout the day.
“I appreciate you used my book title, but you need to actually read the book,” Williamson tweeted at Biden. “Your campaign is everything people said that I was but I actually wasn’t: platitudes but no substance and no policy. Enough with talk about hope and love: show us the policies that provide it!”

Earlier this week, CNN host Don Lemon also suggested that the Biden campaign was deploying a poor strategy, with his comments directed toward the former vice president’s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/after-mocking-violence-in-cities-cnns-lemon-admits-bad-for-democrats-biden-maybe-afraid-to-say-anything">unwillingness to fully confront the rioting problem</a> that has spread across the United States.
“I do think that what you said was happening in Kenosha is a Rorschach test for the entire country, and I think this is a blind spot for Democrats,” Lemon said on Tuesday evening. “I think Democrats are ignoring this problem or hoping that it will go away, and it’s not going to go away.”
“So unless someone comes up with a solution over the next 73 days or 70 so, however many days — 68 days — so the problem is not gonna be fixed by then, but what they can do — and I think maybe Joe Biden may be afraid to do it, I’m not sure, maybe he won’t, maybe he is,” Lemon continued. “He’s got to address it. He’s got to come out and talk about it. He’s got to do a speech like Barack Obama did about race.”
After an apparent right-wing protester <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/right-wing-protester-killed-in-portland-after-democrat-mayor-refused-federal-help-antifa-celebrates">was fatally shot</a> on Saturday evening in Portland, where violent unrest has been a frequent occurrence for months, Biden issued the following statement on Twitter: “The deadly violence we saw overnight in Portland is unacceptable. Shooting in the streets of a great American city is unacceptable. I condemn violence of every kind by anyone, whether on the left or the right. And I challenge Donald Trump to do the same.”
