Music legend Frank Sinatra has returned to the top 10 music chart after more than a decade with his “Ultimate Christmas” holiday compilation album.
The singer’s Christmas album has become Sinatra’s 33rd top 10 album on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, the most ever for any solo male singer, <a href="https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/frank-sinatra-ultimate-christmas-top-10-billboard-200-chart-1235866619/">Billboard</a> reported. 
The compilation of Sinatra’s classic Christmas songs includes “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” and “The Christmas Song,” among many others.
The holiday album ended up climbing from the 17th spot to number 10 on the chart for the week ending January 4, 2025, the outlet noted. It marks Sinatra’s first crack into the top ten chart since August 2012. The legendary singer died in 1998.
The album debuted in 2017 and ended up reaching the top 10 in its 52nd week on the chart, after it previously peaked in the number 12 spot.

Legendary crooner Bing Crosby — who passed away in 1977 — also saw an uptick on the Billboard album chart with his own “Ultimate Christmas” album this holiday, when it went from the 6th spot to number 3, the first top-charting effort since his “Merry Christmas” ranked number 2 on the chart on Jan. 5, 1959, the outlet noted.
In 2023, it was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/brenda-lee-finally-tops-music-charts-65-years-after-release-of-her-classic-christmas-song" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brenda Lee’s</a> turn to move up the music charts when her classic Christmas song “‘<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFsZy9t-qDc">Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree</a>” finally topped the Billboard music chart — 65 years after the song was recorded in 1958.
Lee’s 1960 rocking holiday song danced its way to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart for the week ending November 30, 2023, <a href="https://www.billboard.com/lists/brenda-lee-rockin-around-the-christmas-tree-number-one-hot-100/">Billboard</a> noted.
The classic Christmas tune — written by Johnny Marks and produced by Owen Bradley — first hit the Hot 100 (at No. 64) in the chart dated Dec. 12, 1960, the outlet noted. Two weeks later, the festive song peaked at No. 14 and it finally moved up the chart in 2019 where it spent nine weeks at No. 2 from December 2019 to Dec. 2022. It then scored a huge win last year when it became the 1,161st No. 1 in the Hot 100’s archives.
The song gave Lee her third number one song on the Hot 100 chart after she notched her first two 65 years earlier with “I’m Sorry,” dated July 18, 1960, and “I Want To Be Wanted” on Oct. 24, 1960, Billboard magazine noted.

NFL teams will take the field on Christmas day decked out in uniforms with a holiday-inspired patch as singers Mariah Carey and Beyonce bring the musical star power to the games.
“The four teams who are a part of the NFL’s Christmas Day games — Baltimore [Ravens], Houston [Texans], Kansas City [Chiefs] and Pittsburgh [Steelers] — will wear holiday-inspired uniform patches during Weeks 16 and 17, the league said in a memo,” a post on <a href="https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/1866941055700029658">X</a> from ESPN Senior NFL insider Adam Schefter read.
The post included a photo of the patch that will be worn, which is two crossed striped red and white candy canes and the NFL shield in the middle.

The Houston team posted a photo on social media of how the holiday patch will look on the team’s uniforms.
“Our uniforms will feature a holiday-inspired patch for Weeks 16 &amp; 17 to celebrate our game on 12/25,” the <a href="https://x.com/HoustonTexans/status/1866943487662277085">Texans</a> wrote.
The four teams will not only play on Christmas Day, Dec. 25 but also four days earlier on Saturday, December 21, <a href="http://sportslogo.net">SportsLogo.net</a> noted.
The Chiefs take on the Texans and the Steelers play the Ravens in a head to head game on the 21. On Christmas Day, the Chiefs hit the road to play against the Steelers with a 1 PM ET start time. The Texans host the Ravens later in the afternoon that day. 
The two games are part of a Netflix doubleheader as the streaming platform continues to get into live sporting events. 
And the games will be star-studded events, with the queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, kicking things off on Christmas day. Carey will deliver a taped performance of her all-time number one hit holiday song “All I Want For Christmas Is You” during a game opening performance, <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/12/12/mariah-carey-sing-nfl-christmas-game-beyonce/">TMZ reported</a>.
&#8220;This Christmas, we all get our wish,&#8221; Carey said of the announcement. &#8220;The NFL will be live on Netflix, and I&#8217;ll be there, too.&#8221;
Beyonce will perform songs for the halftime game in Houston from her country album “Cowboy Carter, <a href="https://x.com/CBSMornings/status/1867204972095426679">CBS Morning noted</a>.

Carey&#8217;s tour will take her from the west coast to shows in Denver, Chicago, Kansas City and Philadelphia and include stops in Canada. Live Nation&#8217;s announcement of the upcoming tour included that it&#8217;s her &#8220;exclusive Christmas concerts for this holiday season,&#8221; <a href="https://people.com/mariah-carey-announces-merry-christmas-one-and-all-2023-holiday-tour-dates-8304089" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a> magazine noted.
