Protesters descended upon Madison, Wisconsin, on Wednesday after a video circulated on social media showing police as they shot and killed a black man who authorities say was armed with a knife and resisting arrest in the middle of a street.
On Wednesday evening and throughout the night, leftist protesters <a href="https://x.com/JTCestkowski/status/2080120130999095700">decried</a> &#8220;racist police.&#8221; Even mainstream Democratic gubernatorial candidate David Crowley <a href="https://x.com/DavidCCrowley/status/2080073675001282940">said</a> he was &#8220;horrified by the reports &#8230; about a man who was shot and killed in the street by police officers.&#8221;
The video and the official account from authorities of the deadly incident tell a different story, however, and suggest that some leftists are once again jumping to a racial narrative while ignoring the details around the shooting.
The graphic <a href="https://x.com/WISN12News/status/2080093956612767765">video footage</a>, which was captured by a bystander, begins as three Madison police officers wrestle a man in the street and try to detain him. A fourth officer jumped into the scuffle and drew her taser as an officer was heard yelling, &#8220;He&#8217;s got a knife, he&#8217;s got a knife!&#8221; as the suspect pulled out a fixed-blade knife and injured one of the officers during the scuffle, according to Madison Police Chief John Patterson in a <a href="https://www.wkow.com/news/crime/man-dies-after-madison-police-shooting-near-baldwin-and-williamson-streets/article_98f43f1f-cb53-435d-83c8-cbc82793f6cf.html">press briefing</a>.
The female officer then fired her taser at the suspect at least two times before he fell to the ground. The injured officer, who Patterson described as a veteran of the police force, drew his handgun and fired three shots after the suspect fell to the ground. The suspect, a black man believed to be in his 30s, later died at an area hospital after officers performed life-saving measures on him following the shooting.
Chief Patterson said that all four officers were placed on administrative leave as the department reviews the deadly shooting, but he added that the incident was inflamed because the suspect initially fled from officers and then pulled a knife on them during the arrest.
&#8220;When a knife is produced during officers&#8217; apprehension arrests, the overall situation is clearly elevated. It becomes incredibly dangerous, and it obviously increases risks for everyone there, for every officer, for the person as well,&#8221; Patterson said. &#8220;I think it severely narrows the scope of options and possible outcomes.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;m grateful there were not more serious injuries inflicted to those officers,&#8221; he added. &#8220;But I again, convey my sympathies sincerely to [the victim&#8217;s] family.&#8221;
One other police officer was also injured in the incident, but authorities don&#8217;t believe the injury was caused by the suspect&#8217;s knife.
The suspect was pursued by officers after they received a call for a person who was allegedly looking at parked vehicles. When police found the man and attempted to talk to him, he fled on a bicycle and &#8220;traveled through some nearby backyards,&#8221; Patterson said. The suspect &#8220;either fell off or was taken off of the bicycle by officers&#8221; in the street before the officers grabbed him.
Just seconds after the shooting, anger erupted on Madison&#8217;s streets as a woman was heard on the video shouting at the police officers.
“I saw everything! You did not need to kill him!” the woman yelled.
The anger festered into the evening as protesters <a href="https://x.com/simonrl18/status/2080086435164483969">disrupted</a> a free outdoor concert put on by the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. In another part of town, protesters <a href="https://x.com/SchulteLaura/status/2080056240252600567">chanted</a> &#8220;arrest that cop&#8221; as they stood next to a group of Madison police officers.
Wisconsin Democratic Governor Tony Evers suggested the protests were likely to continue in the coming days and <a href="https://x.com/GovEvers/status/2080124195657097643">said</a>, &#8220;There must be transparency and accountability&#8221; as investigations into the shooting move forward.
&#8220;We will continue to keep the loved ones and family of the individual who was killed in our hearts and prayers. His life mattered,&#8221; Evers <a href="https://x.com/GovEvers/status/2080124197087440939">added</a>. &#8220;As folks exercise their First Amendment rights tonight and in the days ahead, we urge them to do so peacefully and respectfully.&#8221;

For a left preaching tolerance, the emotionally stunted quackery emanating from the mouths of &#8220;I’ve Had It&#8221; podcast hosts Jennifer Welch and the cackling, near-mute sidekick Angie “Pumps” Sullivan proves it’s a pants-on-fire farce.
On Monday, Welch promulgated a conspiracy theory from the bowels of her Luciferian sense of punditry that Vice President JD Vance and Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk are far more than just friends.
Welch extrapolated the Vances deciding to have a fourth child following Charlie’s assassination as something beyond the regret Erika had about only having two children:

You remember the way she, like, grabbed his head and how excited she was to see him, and everybody’s like, oh my God, are they screwing? Like that energy is weird. Well then, a couple of months later, Usha ends up pregnant. Like, the timing of all of that, could you imagine if Kamala was embracing somebody like that on the stage somewhere &#8230; Look at that. You don’t hug a person. You’re not screwing and grow up with her hair like that.

“JD Vance is a weird guy. I mean, he is so weird. The relationship is with Usha is weird, roping in Erika Kirk into their relationship that she’s there, like — what — birthing coach or something. I mean, that was some weird sh*t,” she later added.
Despite the vitriol, they’ve been heralded by elite media. Welch has been given hero’s welcomes by ABC’s &#8220;The View,&#8221; CNN’s Dana Bash, The New York Times, and The New Yorker, to name a few. And there’s been utter silence from this crowd about the comments.
But this wasn’t the first time Welch and Sullivan went after the Vance family.
During a November 2025 show, Joy Reid <a href="https://x.com/CurtisHouck/status/1993401409103184331">told</a> the cackling quacks that the vice president will divorce Usha if he truly wants to become president and instead marry Erika Kirk because MAGA “can’t have the successor” to Trump “be the guy with the brown, Hindu wife.”
“And he’s playing slap and tickle with Erica Kirk, the weirdest sh*t I’ve ever seen,” Welch declared, to which Reid said Charlie’s widow dispensed with “widow wear” in search of her “MAGA fairy tale.”
“But wouldn’t it be the most perfect fairy tale — MAGA fairy tale if he finally sees the light that he needs a white queen instead of this brown Hindu? I mean, I’m not saying that’s happening,” Reid said.
Yes, Welch believes the Vances had another child because something untoward happened last year involving the vice president.
When you’re resorting to demented nightmares that might give the National Enquirer pause, you know you’re far more than just a prepubescent lunchroom bully.
Welch addressed the new lamb for the Vance family a second time, except this time with the vacuous Sullivan alongside. She told listeners this fourth “mixed-race child” could fall prey to ICE because of their father’s support for “the Kavanaugh rule &#8230; that ICE can pull somebody over that ‘looks suspicious.’”
Because of this, she asserted Vance “will not stand up for [his] own kids.”
Sullivan wasn’t to be left out, declaring Vance a “failed” father and husband.
Dovetail this with her ongoing shtick that widespread numbers of MAGA men are closeted, and you have proof that, for the Left, homophobia and racism are not only okay, but accepted so long as it’s framed and delivered in a manner that would make Regina George blush.
Welch and her clapping seal of a sidekick <a href="https://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/nicholas-fondacaro/2025/10/29/former-guest-view-demands-dems-get-board-gop-assassinations">asserted</a> on October 27, 2025, that Democrats need to “get on board” with the “shift” toward political assassinations or MAGA will be “coming after you.”
A month later in the Reid episode, they <a href="https://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/curtis-houck/2025/11/25/joy-reid-joins-miserable-libs-smearing-p-show-pony-jennings-jihad">said</a> MAGA is willing to “commit jihad” for “proto-fascist” Trump and thus are incapable of being “patriotic.”
To their delight, Reid asserted: “The fear is that if you don’t obey [Trump], his cult will try to kill you &#8230; MAGA supporters are armed to the teeth. They are rabid in their support of him, and it’s a religion.”
Welch told &#8220;The View&#8221; in February 2025 she and Sullivan perceive &#8220;I’ve Had It&#8221; as “authentic trash talking” and “counterprogramming to the toxic positivity culture.”
But with &#8220;I’ve Had It,&#8221; defamatory allegations are in, along with homophobia so long as the accused gay is a Republican.
They frequently refer to Speaker Mike Johnson as “Moses Mike Grindr Johnson,” insisting outright he and other Hill Republicans are fervent homosexuals.
In the same show with Reid, they declared without evidence the Epstein Files proved the president <a href="https://x.com/CurtisHouck/status/1993723159397499162">has given</a> blowjobs.
For their funhouse mirror dystopia, gay jokes are in, but say “illegal immigrant,” and that’s on-par with the n-word.
And I haven’t even touched their comments about homeschooling as <a href="https://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/curtis-houck/2026/07/15/vile-podcast-smears-homeschooling-evil-child-abuse-trickle-down">“trickle-down stupidity”</a> and <a href="https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/curtis-houck/2026/07/21/affairs-and-ice-harming-babies-witch-welch-uncorks-new-smears-kirk">“a patriarchal step of the fascist project”</a> overseen by people who are “f*cking weird as f*ck that you want your kids around you all day, every day, and all night.”
Despite all this, they’re the new cool kids.
They’ve welcomed on fellow liberal podcasters such as Jim Acosta, Don Lemon, Sam Seder, and Emma Vigeland, fellow liberals such as Brooke Baldwin, Ruth Ben-Ghiat, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Daily Beast editor-in-chief Joanna Coles, Leigh McGowan, David Rothkopf, Al Sharpton, Jason Stanley, Kara Swisher, and even members of Congress such as Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
Simply put, they’re not going anywhere, so it’s past time someone took these miserable psychopaths to court for defamation.

He&#8217;s blowing stuff up. He&#8217;s shooting guns. And he&#8217;s doing it all with friendly southern folks he just met an hour ago.
His name is Freddy, and he&#8217;s back.
After two agonizing weeks of radio silence, the internet&#8217;s favorite German is <a href="https://x.com/FreddyLA7/status/2076724002031104233">back</a> on X, chronicling his trek across America, wandering through regions we rarely put on postcards, marveling at the small stuff most of us have stopped noticing entirely.
The reason for his absence: a mob of angry, almost certainly liberal, Reddit dwellers came for him with all the subtlety of a group chat spiraling at 2 a.m. He&#8217;s not really German, they insisted. Just a tourist milking the World Cup. An American plant. A CIA asset. A prop manufactured to make red, white, and blue look good.
What these people apparently cannot fathom is that a visitor might just love it here that much. Perhaps Freddy sees something the rest of us have gone blind to, grown numb to, or gotten too spoiled to appreciate.
Now that Freddy&#8217;s posting again, one thing has become undeniable: America needs a Freddy Protection Program. A formal mechanism to trade our America-hating, mask-hoarding DSA denizens for America-loving patriots from abroad. And the case for it writes itself.
First, Freddy values our First and Second Amendments properly. He&#8217;s lived out the First by refusing to kneel to the dementors, the joy-sucking ghouls of the online Left, and refusing to let them silence him. Instead, he keeps speaking his mind, because, in his words, &#8220;a small group of very loud people shouldn&#8217;t be able to ruin something that brought so many others joy.&#8221; Preach it, F-man. Wear that First Amendment out. And he’s getting a taste of the <a href="https://x.com/FreddyLA7/status/2077175183454970177">Second, too</a>. Somewhere in the <a href="https://x.com/FreddyLA7/status/2077110876117602687/video/1">middle-of-nowhere</a> beauty of rural Tennessee, he made fast friends with strangers who invited him along to shoot guns at random objects. The epitome of American greatness.
Freddy&#8217;s caption on his post documenting this moment perfectly captured the mood of our nation this month: &#8220;HOLY FCKING SHT FREEEEEDOMMMM!!!!🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸.&#8221;
A man who loves the First and Second Amendments that much? Immediate green flag.
Second, he isn&#8217;t here for the welfare checks. He&#8217;s here to devour American culture whole. In the two cruel weeks we spent apart, Freddy went <a href="https://x.com/FreddyLA7/status/2076829404265599216">full American.</a> He swam in Pennsylvania&#8217;s lakes, watched grown men inhale pie for sport in Virginia, stood beneath fireworks blooming over the nation&#8217;s capital on the Fourth of July. He lounged on Delaware&#8217;s beaches, wandered the Outer Banks, played mini-golf in Myrtle Beach, and ate himself into a stupor on Bojangles, Sonic, and Taco Bell. <a href="https://x.com/greg_price11/status/2076496617243279527">Most</a> DSA activists, meanwhile, don&#8217;t leave the house. COVID is apparently still raging in their world, and letting sunlight even the slightest bit brown their skin remains a bridge too far. It only makes sense to send them all to Germany, where the sun makes far fewer appearances than it does here.
Third, and this is the part that matters most: he loves it here, and <a href="https://x.com/FreddyLA7/status/2077237149129122172">he wants to stay.</a> DSA demon dimwit dirtbags gather by the hundreds to plot America&#8217;s destruction, giddy with disdain for the place. Their members say the quiet part loud, openly <a href="https://x.com/canarymission/status/2073885328109085043/video/1">calling</a> to take our &#8220;Empire down from within.&#8221; They want to <a href="https://x.com/canarymission/status/2077050593806299584/video/1">scrap</a> our Constitution entirely and build themselves a Democratic Socialist Republic in its place. Presumably starting with the two amendments Freddy loves most. Some of them go further still, <a href="https://x.com/thestustustudio/status/2077208201372512376">insisting</a> every president since the founding has been &#8220;super evil.&#8221;
They. Hate. America.
Freddy doesn&#8217;t. Freddy loves it so much that he never wants to go home. And we should let him stay. The president ought to set up a Freddy Protection Program: let America-loving foreigners who show this country real gratitude take the place of the ungrateful socialists who&#8217;d rather burn it down. Because if the DSA dirtbags get to stick around, spreading their recycled, thoroughly unoriginal ideology unchecked, this country gets devoured from within faster than Joey Chestnut clears a hot dog. And I don&#8217;t say that as some prophetic genius. I say it because I&#8217;ve read the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/real-history-ep-6-communism?utm_campaign=realhistory&amp;utm_medium=website&amp;utm_source=cms&amp;utm_content=banner_na_creative00166_na">history</a>. Russia tried it. The Soviet Union tried it. China tried it. Cuba tried it. Venezuela is still trying it, badly. Every single time, it failed, and it failed the people first. Best to nip the socialist bud before it ever blooms.
I see no downside here. The FPP creates patriots and casts out the pinkos.

Sometimes, too much knowledge can keep a person from enjoying life. Not because of the knowledge and experience per se, but because of the responsibility one can feel in sharing it with those who have been kept in the dark at great peril to their well-being. So it is with this guiding principle that I write.
There has always been a political tug-of-war between the political parties in America, and there has long been outsiders of the Marxist communist-type using money to try to influence the culture, politicians, media, and the education system with the goal of societal infiltration. What one must remember is that a communist utopia has never succeeded nor ever will. There are many examples of these misguided, failed attempts.
But we are also contending with an education system and culture that has, through the Marxist playbook, used dialectical materialism, agitprop, linguistics, racism, and the erasure of the past to cast a foglike trance, brainwashing our youth and populace. This is through no fault of their own, but by the vaulting ambition and fetish the radical Left has with encouraging weakness, dependency, and grievance, in addition to the unfettered flood of immigrants coming to America, and encouraged to suck off the teat of government.
This Marxist infection has even infiltrated the Catholic church with &#8220;Liberation Theology,&#8221; which is slowly inundating South America with Marxism through religion.
My grandparents came from Naples and Sicily at the beginning of the 20th century. At that time, millions of Italians came to America – legally. They had to have a sponsor, a place to stay, a little money, a job, a medical exam, and learn English. They came to America, much like the Irish, Jews, and Germans.
Each ethnic group went through a difficult assimilation process, but ultimately were grateful to be embraced by this land of opportunity. As Italians, our grandparents told us to speak English, prodding us forth, saying, “This is America!” We were taught to succeed, not to blame, and not to be victims.
It is with a history lesson that I would like to give Mayor Mamdani: there were more lynchings of Italians in New Orleans in 1886 than of any other people; we were spat on and ridiculed. In 1906, a  New York Times article <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/1906/09/01/archives/italians-vs-southern-negroes.html">called</a> Italians &#8220;inferior to negro laborers.” We Italians were paid less than our black brothers and sisters. Decades later, the epithets lived on: greaseball, dago, wop, criminal, and a few more colorful words that don’t need to be printed here. The difference is that we were not filled with hatred and grievance, as we see today among folks generations removed from past injustices. I refer to slavery, which was a scourge.
Slavery, even among white people, existed for centuries before America became a nation. But the agitprop of the Left creates an angry group, which we have seen boil over. President Barack Obama could have united us — all races and backgrounds. He pledged as much in a rousing speech, declaring there is no &#8220;White America or Black America.” I, too, was inspired by his soaring rhetoric. The disappointment came later, when he drove the racial wedge even deeper.
But Obama was the beginning of an explosive political era that seeped into the culture, far from his so-called vision for unity. Multiple genders with their own pronouns, stripping the importance of mothers, fathers, and the nuclear family from the culture, a youth that has been pampered, babied, and encouraged into gender “transition” before they can use proper discernment. This is the result of educators, politicians, media, and parents who have come out of the drug culture and usurped traditional values. It’s cultural and societal chaos.
In the 1960s and ’70s, Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn, along with the Black Panthers, were blowing up the Pentagon, police precincts, and tearing down historic statues, crying about “American Imperialism” and inciting violence.
While many of the members of the Weather Underground were jailed, others infiltrated the educational system. They wrote textbooks and became involved in politics to take down the system from within.
One of my political mentors was the great conservative thinker David Horowitz, who was in the thick of that movement but left when he experienced the corruption from within. His brilliant book, “The Radical Son,” explains his political transformation from Left to Right. Horowitz went on to write some of the most prophetic books. One in particular called &#8220;Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left,” it was written in 2004, but is just as relevant today.
This brings us back to the Pied Marxist Piper, Zohran Mamdani, who is currently leading the radical Left, New Yorkers, and America into a utopian hell.
How did this smiling cobra of a politician get to where he is today? One must look at his parents, who are Muslims born in India, raised in Africa, and educated through the generosity of the Kennedy Airlift Foundation. Mayor Mamdani is a silver spoon-fed Marxist, thanks to parents who built lucrative careers from the generosity of the American taxpayer. He plays his pipe and attracts those who are purposely made to feel disenfranchised or have come here to game the system.
Contrast this with my family’s story, which likely sounds similar to that of many hard-working Americans. My grandfather, Franco Davi, came from Torretta, Sicily, in the early 1900s, enlisted in the U.S. Infantry during WWI, was critically wounded three times, but went back each time to continue fighting. He was murdered by a drunk who hit him over the head with a pipe.
My father, Salvatore Davi, enlisted in the U.S. Navy the day after Pearl Harbor was attacked. He was a gunner on a merchant marine ship, which was torpedoed. He lived on a raft  drifting in the ocean for three days. He was 17-years-old at the time. He was discharged as post-traumatic stress disorder set in. He went to California, became a volunteer fireman in Pasadena, and tried to break into film, oddly enough. Missing his family, he came back to Astoria, Queens, and attended Samuel Gompers Trade School, where he became a draftsman and machinist. My father worked three jobs most of his life, and volunteered at church. He died when he was 56 years old, having paid off his house on Long Island after 30 years and a savings of $100,000.
My grandfather and father, with many Italians, Jews, Germans, and Irish, built much of New York City. They were Catholics, Jews, and Protestants.
My father raised the American flag in our front yard in Dix Hills, Long Island, every Veterans’ Day, Fourth of July, Memorial Day, and D-Day — whenever it was appropriate. He loved America and instilled that wonderful love in me. We had a large family with folks on all sides of the political spectrum, and we were encouraged to debate, discuss, and disagree, but nevertheless love this country.
Most of my cousins excel in their fields, all of them the result of Italian immigrants who barely spoke English but did so, with a Love for America and the opportunity it provided, choosing work over welfare and relying on merit over handouts, no matter how difficult. As a kid, I was taught that no matter how tough things got, anything was possible if you put in the work. There was never a thought toward grievance or entitlement that we see rampant today.
The tune Zohran Mamdani plays, and the Left propagates to corral the unassimilated immigrant, the white liberal, the angry black, and the brainwashed, misled, entitled youth, leads them to the promised land of meritless enslavement, where inventiveness is replaced by a crippling paralysis of Marxist ideology. Mamdani, AOC, Ilan Omar, Blowhard Bernie, and the rest of the bleeding-heart Left have it all wrong, joined by my Hollywood brethren and sisters who convene in their elite enclaves and pat each other on the back for their bloated, pampered proselytizing.
It is nice to be loved by your colleagues and to feel part of a group, rather than being ostracised for having a different worldview. I was brought to California in 1977 when I worked on my first film with Frank Sinatra, the son of Italian immigrants himself. Hollywood was different then.
The point is that Mamdani doesn&#8217;t know better. He has, since birth, been marinated in an intellectually toxic worldview that oppressed nations continue to encourage. They are taught to come to America, and we can take care of you from cradle to the grave.
When I see hardworking Americans being usurped by the radical Left&#8217;s Marxist takeover, it pisses me off. Of course, I have compassion, but the guiding principle of the Mamdani effect, while seemingly wonderfully compassionate, is to erase the past in order to pander and lead the ignorant into a newly created abyss, where the government is the new feudal lord.
Lastly, I wish to remind folks that radical movements always seem to get the most hold until they are subdued. What I fear we are seeing across American cities is more Islamists flocking to America to undermine our way of life. Which brings us right back to our Pied Piper. So, I challenge Mayor Mamdani to a televised debate where we discuss America — its people, way of life, history, and aspirations. Two men, two New Yorkers, two descendants of immigrants, two visions of America.

Walsh then depicts the similarities of Left-wing radicals taking over Russia over a century ago with what we are seeing in our own country today.

On this day, 250 years ago, Thomas <a href="https://x.com/OldeWorldOrder/status/2071021131373429235">Paine</a> publicly argued for adopting &#8220;United States of America&#8221; as the formal name of the new nation, just days before the Declaration of Independence was adopted. The name stuck because it described exactly what we were building: a nation of united, sovereign states, not a collection of squabbling colonies.
And on this day, June 29, 2026, Democrats are flipping their flags upside down, banning the Bible from schools, and refusing to celebrate our 250th anniversary. They&#8217;re not just apathetic about this country; they&#8217;re actively allergic to it.
Gosh, they ruin everything good.
Though Republican pride in the country remains strong — 70% of Republican voters say they&#8217;re &#8220;extremely proud&#8221; to be an American — Democrats are at an embarrassing 14%. If you&#8217;re not proud of the nation that invented modern liberty, defeated fascism and communism, put a man on the moon, and gave the world the technologies that define the 21st century, then what exactly are you proud of?
I, for one, identify as an American thoroughbred. I bleed red, white, and blue. I think Uncle Sam is my actual uncle. I get giddy reading about the Founding Fathers and the impossible odds they overcame to secure the freedoms we now treat like background noise. Sure, I&#8217;m proud of my Italian heritage and my olive skin, and Sicily is a fantastic vacation spot, but all of that will always come second to my Americanism. 
 
And for those of you who don&#8217;t feel this way and have allegiances to other countries, may I ask why the hell you&#8217;re still here?
We have a mountain with four presidents&#8217; faces carved into it — Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt — because they&#8217;re the men who brought us independence, individual liberty, global strength, and the abolition of slavery. We sent reusable rockets into space while other nations were still figuring out how to keep the lights on. We put a man on the moon before most people had calculators. We invented the airplane, the internet, and the smartphone, and turned the very landscape of every Taylor Sheridan series into the most powerful, prosperous, and free society in human history. Also, we have lots of air conditioning.
This is not a normal country. It&#8217;s an extraordinary one. Where people don’t just “make it,” they change the world.
And despite this, despite ubiquitous Ozempic, despite Amazon Prime and ranch dressing, the Left still isn’t having fun. But they aren’t just unhappy. They&#8217;ve built an entire identity out of grievance, and a country worth celebrating is a direct threat to that identity. If America is good, their whole worldview collapses. So it can&#8217;t be good. It has to be irredeemably racist, colonialist, and oppressive. Because the alternative is admitting they&#8217;ve spent decades being wrong about everything.
That&#8217;s why they ban the Bible from schools, sneer at the flag, and sit out the 250th anniversary of the greatest political experiment in human history. It&#8217;s not intellectual. It&#8217;s a mental illness. Misery needs company, and America&#8217;s success is the loneliest thing in the world for someone who needs it to fail.
Take the Bible. Liberals are furious that the Texas State Board of Education voted to make Bible passages required in public schools. I’m furious that it wasn’t already.
The Bible is in our national DNA. It helped write the code. George Washington prayed that citizens would imitate &#8220;the Divine Author of our blessed Religion.&#8221; John Adams said plainly that the Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people, and called the Bible the best book in the world. Thomas Jefferson created his own edited version of the Gospels. And our first Chief Justice, John Jay, said it was the duty of a Christian nation to prefer Christian leaders. These views weren’t fringe; they were the whole operation. Attacking the Bible isn’t brave countercultural resistance; it’s sawing off the branch you’re sitting on.
But here&#8217;s the thing about 250 years: we&#8217;ve survived worse than these woke woeful warriors. We&#8217;ve survived actual existential threats, and we came out stronger every time. The question is whether this generation will do its part.
It&#8217;s not too late for normal Democrats and independents who still love this country. Stop following activists who treat America like an original sin. Ask yourself what kind of nation you want your children to inherit. Be proud of the past, protective of the present, and hopeful for the future. Fly the flag right-side up. Teach your kids and your friends the real story of this country. Fire up the grill this Fourth and celebrate the 250th anniversary like it means something — because it means everything.
This nation is worth defending. It&#8217;s worth keeping alive for another 250 years. And it&#8217;s worth being proud of.

Last night, the New York congressional primaries turned third-worldist America-hating New York mayor Zohran Mamdani into an electoral kingmaker. A series of his endorsed candidates defeated very liberal Democrats and replaced them with outright communist terrorist endorsers, fans of criminality, and America-haters.
According to these victorious candidates, America is a settler-colonial, genocidal, racist, fundamentally evil country that is now the moral litmus test for the new Democratic Party.
You must despise America. You must hate everything America stands for. These candidates make Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi look like Right-wing American patriots.
You might think that because this is all happening in New York, it doesn&#8217;t really affect you.
Wrong.
The Democratic Party of your parents is gone. Heck, the Democratic Party of 10 years ago is gone. It is being eaten alive by people who openly hate America.

These are not people who are hiding the ball. These revolutionaries openly advocated for abolishing all prisons.
Yes, all prisons, as well as abolishing ICE and abolishing our entire Department of War.
They want limitless taxation for the kids. Limitless immigration. Taxpayer-funded abortion for all.
They see America as fundamentally evil and our allies as genocidal, while seeing our enemies, people who wish to kill Americans, as heroic.
I wish I were exaggerating. But last night in New York City, people who believe all of these things and say them openly swept very left-wing Democrats out of office in the primaries.
I can hear you saying it: “It&#8217;s just New York. Let New York be New York. Why should we care?”
But here&#8217;s the thing. This is all part of a very clever and concerted strategy by the far-Left, the Democratic Socialists of America, to take over the Democratic Party, to eat it, and then take over the country.
This is a multi-step process. This is a revolutionary process that has been carried out before in countries that are not the United States.
Step one: Eat the “normie” party, eat the Mensheviks. The Communist Party in pre-Soviet Russia was comprised of the communists, the Bolsheviks and other communists called Mensheviks. The Bolsheviks were run by Vladimir Lenin.
When you are running a revolution, the goal is to take over very, very blue areas with insane radicals and then purge the people who are from the regular far-Left.
Thus, the Bolsheviks had to purge the Mensheviks. The founder of Soviet communism, Vladimir Lenin — an idol for Hasan Piker and Zohran Mamdani — said, “The party must be purged of rascals of bureaucratic, dishonest or wavering communists, of Mensheviks who have repainted their facade, but who have remained Mensheviks at heart.”
The idea here is that typical Democrats are bad and the chief target. Understand: The radicals hate the traditional-Left folks more than they hate the Right, because they see them as obstacles to power. If they can purge those people, if they can get rid of the very, very Left- wing Democrats in Congress and replace them with people who are even more Left-wing, then they have a beachhead.
You start with a very, very blue area. You start with an area like Brooklyn. You start with areas that are located inside Manhattan, the Commie-core. You get rid of the people who are very, very far-Left, and you replace them with actual America-hating communists.
Now you have your beachhead. You can use this as a starting point to expand.
Step two: Claim victory. You treat the takeover of these areas as indicative of a sort of broad national upsurge in radical Left-wing sentiments. You claim that you&#8217;ve taken over the whole party, and then you threaten the normal leftists in your coalition. This is the sort of thing that Lenin would do.
Lenin famously labeled his opponents Mensheviks in Russian. That meant the minority faction, and he claimed that his faction was the Bolsheviks, meaning the majority faction, even though his faction was actually less popular in Russia than the Mensheviks.
Again, the idea is to create a false sense of popularity.
It’s the same here. The Democratic Socialists of America is taking over extremely blue districts with low vote totals, and then they are claiming that they have the run of the place and the momentum is with them.
You repeat it over and over and over. You let social media run with it, and young people who live online actually start to believe it. Because if you are online all day long, you see clips over and over and over of Zohran Mamdani, people cheering Zohran Mamdani, people cheering Brad Lander, and people cheering various psychotic candidates like Darializa Avila Chevalier.
You see that over and over: “This is the wave of the future. This is where we are going.”
If your life is online, you start to believe that the radical Left is the wave of the future — and this stuff is aimed at the kids, the 12 to 30-year-olds.
It&#8217;s a TikTok indoctrination campaign. This is not a political game for this election cycle alone. It&#8217;s how you turn a minority part of the Democratic Party, the Bernie Sanders psychotic wing, into the controlling faction of the Democratic Party.
You start by saying there is a silent majority that supports you, then you get very loud online, turn up the volume, win a couple of primaries, claim that you have the momentum — and momentum is the name of the game.
These folks are playing for a full-scale revolution among people too young to know better, and too impressionable to understand that reality exists offline.
Step three is to threaten everybody who&#8217;s a normal leftist that you&#8217;ll come for them, too. Then you let them cave to you. You make them feel insufficiently committed to the cause.
Dostoyevsky predicted this in a book called “The Demons” or “The Possessed.” Revolutionary characters in that book, who are supposed to be precursors to the communists, are amused about the possibility of cutting off 100 million heads, and one of the radicals says that it wouldn&#8217;t be hard to convince normal liberals to go along with them. He says I could make them go through fire. They&#8217;re not advanced enough.
The idea is that Mamdani is a thought leader; Sanders is a thought leader; Duvalier is a thought leader. The real problem with them is that they&#8217;re too committed. They just love truth and decency and justice too much. Sure, they&#8217;re not practical enough, but their principles are right; their hearts are in the right place.
Thus it&#8217;s not hard for the radicals to get Hakeem Jeffries or Nancy Pelosi or all the rest to say that it&#8217;s important to side with the DSA.
All you have to do is say, “What are you going to do? Cave to the evil Trump Republicans?”
If you force the normal Left to choose between Trump voters and the DSA, they will choose the DSA.
Step four: Rinse and repeat.
We&#8217;re all sitting here thinking, “Okay, fine. Let them try it. Let them try to run AOC on a national level. She’ll lose because the vast majority of Americans don&#8217;t believe this crap.”
But that&#8217;s not the point. If you lose, you just repeat steps one through three.
Again, the chief target here is not the Right — yet. The chief target right now is the normie Left. If you can attack the so-called normie Left here and you can destroy them, then you will take over one of the major parties. If you have a stranglehold on a major party, you have at least a 40% shot of winning national power, and then all you have to do is wait for your opponent to fall over face-first.
You can stroll into power no matter how much people write you off. Take over any party, and you are one step away from taking over the country. In other words, President AOC is not some sort of remote possibility. It is becoming quite possible.
And that&#8217;s why what happened last night in New York City is so important.
It affects you. It affects your kids and the country. If you&#8217;re not concerned, if you are not actually terrified by what&#8217;s going on in New York and the media&#8217;s willingness to play into it, the momentum is all with the DSA and the Democratic Party.
If you&#8217;re not terrified by that, it&#8217;s because you don&#8217;t understand the game.

An organization that poses as conservative and is rallying opposition to artificial intelligence infrastructure is using a leftist network to set up protests against AI data centers.
Humans First burst onto the scene recently with an announcement that it would stage simultaneous demonstrations in more than a dozen cities this summer, targeting what it characterizes as the reckless proliferation of AI data centers. The group&#8217;s chair, Amy Kremer — a veteran of the Tea Party era and a figure who played a prominent role in events surrounding January 6, 2021 — has cast the effort as a bottom-up conservative revolt against a Washington establishment that has surrendered to Silicon Valley&#8217;s interests.
&#8220;I was one of the earliest leaders of the Tea Party movement in 2009, and I can tell you that the disconnect between the elites and the base that gave rise to the Tea Party movement can be seen today in the battle over AI data centers,&#8221; Kremer said, according to <a href="https://www.axios.com/2026/06/18/conservatives-protest-ai-data-centers?utm_campaign=mrf-utm_campaign=editorial&amp;utm_source=x&amp;utm_medium=owned_social&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;mrfcid=202606186a32afd2479a3d090dbfe8d2">Axios</a>.
The populist packaging is familiar. The contents are something else entirely.
Reporting by NBC News <a href="https://x.com/codydsargent/status/2067725834538914107">found</a> that the organization is less a conservative outfit than an ideological patchwork. Key figures within Humans First come from the leftist movement&#8217;s activist core — one prominent organizer spent years working on climate campaigns as part of the Sunrise Movement, a group defined by its <a href="https://www.sunrisemovement.org/movement-updates/to-win-on-climate-we-must-crush-fascism/">virulent opposition</a> to the Trump administration.
Another senior figure heading the group&#8217;s Left-leaning outreach worked to turn out voters for Kamala Harris&#8217; presidential bid. Humans First has acknowledged the mixed composition, describing itself as nonpartisan — a significant walk-back from its &#8220;America First AI policy&#8221; positioning.
More telling than its membership, however, is the digital infrastructure undergirding the operation. An oversight on the group&#8217;s own website — an uncensored privacy policy — exposed its use of Action Network, a platform that <a href="https://actionnetwork.org/groups/left-action#:~:text=Action%20Network%20is%20an%20open,unlawful%20or%20other%20improper%20action.">markets itself</a> explicitly as a tool for building &#8220;progressive&#8221; political power, as pointed out by Capital Research Center investigator Parker Thayer.

The service limits access to causes aligned with the political Left and is widely understood as a fundraising and organizing backbone for leftist nonprofits, analogous to what ActBlue is for Democratic campaigns. It is difficult to imagine a genuinely right-leaning organization either choosing or qualifying to use it.
The protests themselves — focused on concerns like water consumption, energy use, local noise, and the national security implications of sprawling data infrastructure — are issues that have historically animated environmentalists and Left-leaning community groups more than Republican voters.

Twenty-five years ago, it didn&#8217;t matter if you were red, white, blue, black, gold, or purple. On July Fourth, our nation&#8217;s birthday, Republicans and Democrats both showed up for the party.
Not anymore.
In 2026, we can&#8217;t agree on the color orange, whether water is wet, or what the American flag even stands for. And the polling proves it. Sixty-four percent of Republicans will display the American flag on July Fourth. Democrats? Twenty-seven percent.
Back in 2001 — before the towers fell, before the culture war went nuclear — Democrats and Republicans were nearly identical in how proud they were to call themselves Americans. Eighty-seven percent of the country, unified, coast to coast. Then came the decades of left-wing institutional rot, and here we are: 90% of Republicans say they are proud to be American. Democrats? 29%. That is a 61-point gap between two halves of a country that used to grill out together.
Absolutely pathetic.
The Left has always been a little less enthusiastic about American symbols, but this is more than dyspepsia; this is pure contempt. More Gen Z Democrats say they have little or no pride in being an American than say they are extremely or very proud. Think about that. The party of &#8220;our democracy&#8221; has produced a generation that actively dislikes the country more than they love it.
Instead of parties this July Fourth? They&#8217;ll be hosting off-key sing-alongs, mourning deported illegal aliens, and papering their doors with rainbow stickers. Old Glory won&#8217;t make an appearance.
Here&#8217;s why that matters.
That flag proudly wears thirteen stripes for the colonies that told a king to pound sand in 1776. Fifty stars for the states bound together under a Constitution that declared rights come from the Creator — not from government. It flew over Washington, crossing the Delaware in the snow. It inspired Francis Scott Key to write the national anthem while British rockets lit up the night over Fort McHenry. It led the charge at Normandy and planted itself on the moon.
The stars and stripes don’t represent perfection. They represent the longest-running experiment in ordered liberty the world has ever seen.
The modern Left cannot rally around any of that. Their entire worldview requires them to see America as an original sin that can never be forgiven. Slavery existed here — just as it existed on every continent for thousands of years. The difference is that the principles in that flag gave Americans the moral and legal tools to end it. The Left&#8217;s preferred history — the 1619 Project revision pushed in classrooms and newsrooms — pretends those principles never existed. It teaches children that the country was founded on oppression rather than on the radical idea that all men are created equal.
The feature, ladies and gentlemen, never the bug.
The New Left that took over universities in the 1960s and 1970s did not want to reform America. It wanted to delegitimize it. Herbert Marcuse and the critical theory crowd taught a generation that Western civilization, and America in particular, was the source of all repression. Repressive tolerance became the rule: shut down any defense of the country as “hate,” while every grievance gets a platform. Decades later, the results are in the polling.
Democrats who went through that education system now look at the flag the way a vampire looks at garlic.
They&#8217;ve been trained to see every American success as stolen and every American failure as proof the whole thing is rotten, all while living in the country with the highest living standards, the strongest military, the freest speech, and the most opportunity any large nation has ever produced. The hypocrisy writes itself.
So let them sulk. Let them treat July Fourth like a national day of mourning.
The rest of us still believe in the country that produced the Wright brothers, the polio vaccine, the internet, and the men and women who stormed beaches to liberate continents. Republicans aren’t just holding the line. We are still building. Entrepreneurs are creating jobs instead of burning buildings. Mothers are raising children instead of raising fists at the system. Young men are enlisting or starting businesses instead of majoring in resentment.
The revolutionary spirit that won independence never left the Right. It just got busy winning in the real world.
The numbers keep dividing because one side loves what America is, and the other resents what it has achieved. That isn&#8217;t a disagreement over policy. That is a fundamental rejection of the country itself.
Democrats hate the flag. We don’t.
This July Fourth, fly it anyway. Fly it high. Fly it for the people who built this place and for the ones still trying to keep it worth defending. 
The Left can keep their grievance parade. The rest of us have a country to celebrate.

The Leftist rag Daily Beast took aim at the eldest child of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and her newborn on Friday in an article that ridiculed the new mother and mocked the large Catholic family. 
The Daily Beast writer, Annabella Rosciglione, titled the <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/transportation-secretary-sean-duffys-daughter-evita-announces-birth-of-child/">hit piece</a> “Trump Goon’s Nepo Baby Announces Birth of Daughter,” taking the opportunity to turn a heartfelt moment into an attack targeting Evita Duffy-Alfonso in the days after the birth of her first child. The Daily Beast called out Duffy-Alfonso for having a &#8220;meltdown&#8221; in a TSA line when she refused to go through a metal detector while pregnant, something many expectant mothers opt to do. 
In the post that prompted The Daily Beast hit piece, Duffy-Alfonso simply wrote, &#8220;Obsessed&#8221; and included pictures of her and her baby. After the article was published, Duffy-Alfonso took to X and ripped The Daily Beast for its “Terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

Many other conservatives took to social media to slam The Daily Beast and offer their support for the new mother, most notably Duffy-Alfonso&#8217;s mother and &#8220;Fox &amp; Friends Weekend&#8221; host Rachel Campos-Duffy.
“Haters gonna hate, Evita. They can’t rain [on] my parade. Rosita is perfect. And you are a beautiful mama!” Campos-Duffy <a href="https://x.com/RCamposDuffy/status/2060463268662030675?s=20">wrote</a>. 
Daily Wire host Isabel Brown took to X as well <a href="https://x.com/theisabelb/status/2060527941784629643?s=20">writing</a>, “So the media running hit pieces on newborn babies now &#8230; [Evita Duffy-Alfonso] congratulations on your beautiful baby girl!”
&#8220;This is honestly kind of shocking,&#8221; said writer Bethany Mandel.
Fox News contributor Joe Concha called out Daily Beast publisher and CEO Ben Sherwood, saying, &#8220;How can you allow this filth to be published? You want the Daily Beast to be anti-whatever &#8211; fine … but this kind of &#8216;story&#8217; is repulsive and completely unwarranted and needs to be retracted or pulled altogether.&#8221;
The boos of one angry reporter were quickly drowned out by the cheers of countless conservatives. Conservative commentator Dana Loesch <a href="https://x.com/DLoesch/status/2060469808873787755?s=20">stated</a>: “Congratulations, mama! She’s beautiful.&#8221; Turning Point USA’s Andrew Kolvet <a href="https://x.com/AndrewKolvet/status/2060540596796932230?s=20">added</a>, “Congratulations! Bless you both!”
Widespread support for Duffy-Alfonso has garnered tens of thousands of likes and hundreds of thousands of impressions on X, dwarfing the comparatively small average engagement on The Daily Beast’s posts.
Duffy-Alfonso is best known for her work as a staff writer for The Federalist and co-founding the Chicago Thinker. A 21-year-old political commentator was attacked and temporarily blinded by a masked individual while debating transgender violence on a college campus earlier this week.
A video shows Ryley Niemi, a conservative who regularly debates leftist students, sitting at a table on the University of California Santa Cruz campus when a black-clad person wearing dark sunglasses and a mask approached him and dumped a bucket of black liquid on him.
Niemi chased after the individual who fled the scene, and people in the area began cheering and shouting for Niemi to “get the f*ck off this campus.” The attacker escaped, but in an exclusive interview with The Daily Wire, Niemi said the police are “actively investigating this and looking for the person.&#8221;
Niemi, said the liquid caused blindness in both eyes for three hours, and blindness for six hours in his right eye.
“EMTs flushed my eyes with five vials of saline solution,” Niemi said. During his visit to the ER, Niemi learned that his “right eye has a corneal abrasion, and 48 hours later, my right eye still hurts and is slightly blurry.”
He added that the attack resulted in semi-permanent damage to his right eye and cut short his debate at UC Santa Cruz.

Niemi&#8217;s table featured signs that stated “trans women are men” and “transgenders are violent.” He said the attacker was “100% male” who appeared to be around 6&#8242; tall and “has a modified voice [because of hormone therapy], long hair, and feminine earrings.”
“The irony is,” Niemi continued, “that one of the signs said ‘trans-genders are violent.’ And then a transgender attacked me.”
This is not the first time Niemi has been <a href="https://x.com/jakerattlesnk/status/2045429911926735317">attacked</a>. Six weeks ago, Niemi interviewed a gay couple with a baby on the street and asked them about statistics on gay men committing child molestation. One of the men shoved him and proceeded to follow Niemi, punching him in the back of the head. Niemi said he suffered a concussion from the attack.
“The district attorney has let them off the hook,” Niemi added.
The Right-wing commentator explained that he holds debates to “change the mind of the American public to be more conservative.”

That&#8217;s how The New Yorker and its ideological allies see this country. The flag isn’t a symbol of sacrifice and freedom; it’s a wound. Patriotism isn’t a virtue; it’s a plague.
These writers, cartoonists, and readers are a despondent people. They are perpetually ungrateful for what is, by any honest accounting, the greatest birthright a human being can receive. They are immune to the privilege of simply being born here — born into a country that hands them the freedom to publish, criticize, and mock. They use every one of these gifts to fixate on America&#8217;s imperfections while ignoring the ocean of blessings surrounding them.
To answer this whimpering writer&#8217;s question: Yes, national pride in America is “worth trying to salvage.” And no, patriotism is not problematic. It is necessary, and it starts with refusing to despise the very country you claim to want to improve.
Before making the case for American pride, it&#8217;s worth being clear about who is arguing against it.
The New Yorker&#8217;s &#8220;How Problematic Is Patriotism?&#8221; ran May 25. Their May 4 <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cover-story/cover-story-2026-05-11">cover</a>, &#8220;Red, White, and Kinda Blue,&#8221; showed a melancholy George Washington slumped at a table, blowing a party horn, drinking a dirty martini. The accompanying text sneered that there was plenty to celebrate about America&#8217;s birthday: &#8220;Climate catastrophes are still somewhat frequent … and you&#8217;re free to express your opinion, as long as you keep your voice down and remember who you&#8217;re talking to.&#8221;
Last year, a <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cover-story/cover-story-2025-05-05">cover</a> showed Lady Liberty behind prison bars, 100 tallies scratched into the wall, because President Donald Trump&#8217;s first one-hundred days had apparently caged freedom. <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cover-story/cover-story-2024-11-11">Another</a> depicted her on a tightrope, because democracy was &#8220;hanging in the balance.&#8221; In January 2024, they <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cover-story/cover-story-2024-01-15">drew</a> Trump as Hitler. In February, they <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cover-story/cover-story-2025-03-03">showed</a> the Founders — Hamilton, Franklin, Madison — being escorted out of the Oval Office like fired employees, boxes in hand, watched over by armed, masked Praetorian guards, their point being that cutting federal bloat is anti-American.
They have spent years bashing the Founders, our symbols, our president, and the 77 million people who voted for him. They call themselves defenders of democracy while their own party leaders push to pack the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kamala-harriss-bad-ideas-brainstorm-struggle-session?author=Chloe+Trapanotto&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=7&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Kamala+Harris%E2%80%99s+Bad+Ideas+Brainstorm+Struggle+Session">Supreme Court, stack the Senate, and abolish the Electoral College.</a> They declared democracy dead under Trump while ignoring that his opponent was installed at the top of the ticket without a single primary vote.
This is not good-faith criticism. This is a campaign to make Americans ashamed of their country. To mock her and to mock you.
They’re wrong. America is not a burden. It is the greatest experiment in human freedom the world has ever known. 
She was founded on a self-evident truth — not a government decree, not a racial grievance scorecard, but a moral claim written into the architecture of the republic: that all men are created equal, endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Our Founders weren&#8217;t utopian dreamers or progressive airheads. They were battle-tested realists who understood human nature&#8217;s capacity for tyranny and deliberately built a constitutional republic to contain it. In today’s America, it’s leftists who are trying to tear down our constitutional republic, destroy individual liberty, take away property rights, and centralize government in the hands of a few.
From the blood-soaked fields of Lexington and Yorktown to the moon landing and the smartphone in your pocket, America has generated more wealth, innovation, opportunity, and freedom for more people of every color and creed than any other nation in history. Millions still risk everything to reach our shores, not because they want to live under oppression, but because they know what the Left refuses to admit: this place is exceptional.
America is winning. Our president has brokered the end of multiple global conflicts in barely over a year. Our military is crushing tyrants and terrorist networks. Our children are receiving tax-advantaged savings accounts at birth to jumpstart the American dream. We are leading the AI revolution that will reshape the world. After four years of timid retreat, America is acting like the global hegemon again.
The engine of prosperity roars forward. That&#8217;s why people still come. That&#8217;s why freedom still lives here. And that&#8217;s why tearing down the greatest force for good in human history would leave the world darker, poorer, and enslaved to the very tyrannies our Founders bled to reject.
For most people I know, the great frustrations of daily life are gas prices and expensive coffee. It sounds small, but it&#8217;s actually a testament to how good we have it. My biggest complaint isn&#8217;t political imprisonment or starvation. It&#8217;s that my latte hasn&#8217;t been under $4 since the last time President Trump was in office, and gas that was $2 in February crept back up to $5.
Of course there is disease, grief, and disappointment in every corner of life. We should work to reduce all of it. But in the context of human history, in the context of what most of the world endures, Americans have it the best.
America, to me, is still pie and summer picnics. It&#8217;s riding horses and watching football. It&#8217;s working hard, day in and day out, to build a life worth living and passing down. It&#8217;s a flag that doesn&#8217;t pierce you; it covers you.
I love my country. I’m proud of it. I’m a patriot.
We all should be.
