Last Friday we discussed the killing of a white high school junior in Texas named Austin Metcalf. Metcalf was stabbed through the heart by Karmelo Anthony, a 17-year-old black student who attended a different school. 
According to the arrest warrant, Anthony was in the wrong tent at a track meet, for reasons that aren&#8217;t entirely clear. Metcalf told him to leave; Anthony dared Metcalf to touch him; Metcalf apparently touched Anthony or his backpack; and then Anthony produced a knife from the backpack and killed Metcalf. Afterwards, police say, Anthony threw the murder weapon away. When police asked Anthony what had happened, he admitted that he had stabbed Metcalf, then asked them if his actions could be considered a form of self-defense.
Of course, there hasn&#8217;t yet been a trial in this case. Karmelo Anthony, like everyone else accused of a crime in this country, enjoys the legal presumption of innocence under our Constitution. At the same time, reasonable people can look at these facts and come to one obvious conclusion, which is this: Unless the police and all of the witnesses are engaging in the single most organized conspiracy to frame a criminal defendant that&#8217;s ever been undertaken in the history of this country, for no apparent reason, then there was clearly no justification for Karmelo Anthony to kill Austin Metcalf. There was no reason for him to bring a deadly weapon to a track meet in the first place, much less use that weapon to execute an unarmed teenager, and then attempt to hide evidence. In other words, any defense of Anthony must rely on something other than the facts.
Over the past few days, that kind of defense is exactly what has emerged. Despite the overwhelming evidence in this case, tens of thousands of people have now publicly declared that, in essence, Metcalf had it coming. This sentiment isn&#8217;t based on forensic evidence or new witness testimony or anything like that. Instead, the defense of Anthony is based on the fact that Anthony is black, and Metcalf was white.

We will go through some of these defenses, below, so you can see the exact arguments I&#8217;m referring to. The important thing to keep in mind, however, is that the identity of the person writing the post doesn&#8217;t matter. What matters are the massive amount of positive responses these posts have received. Each post listed below has received tens of thousands of positive responses, in the forms of replies and &#8220;likes,&#8221; along with millions of views. So even if we&#8217;re talking about professional agitators here, it really doesn&#8217;t matter. The point is that the agitation is working. A significant number of people are responding positively.
Here for example was <a href="https://x.com/tariqnasheed/status/1908338545020018820">a post</a> written by the commentator Tariq Nasheed, who describes himself as a &#8220;foundational black American.&#8221;

Nasheed <a href="https://x.com/tariqnasheed/status/1908289160038977683">added</a>:
<blockquote>If Kyle Rittenhouse was justified in using lethal self defense&#8230; And Daniel Penny was justified in using lethal self defense&#8230;. Then Karmelo Anthony was justified in using self defense against alleged bullies who instigated an altercation, correct?</blockquote>
Collectively, these two posts received over six million views and tens of thousands of likes. Austin Metcalf, according to this post, was a &#8220;suspected white supremacist&#8221; even though there&#8217;s been no evidence whatsoever to suggest that&#8217;s true. It&#8217;s just completely invented. In this instance, as in pretty much every other instance, the words &#8220;white supremacist&#8221; are really being used as a synonym for &#8220;white.&#8221; The people responding to this post understand that Austin Metcalf wasn&#8217;t a member of some white nationalist group. They don&#8217;t care. They simply despise him because he was white, which is all it takes.
Then Tariq compares this situation to the &#8220;Jim Crow era,&#8221; which is apparently meant to imply that it&#8217;s impossible for black people to be in the wrong place, at any time, for any reason. If you are a white person, then evidently you are not allowed to tell a black person that he&#8217;s not allowed in a particular area. That appears to be the logic here. If you wake up at 2:00am and a random black person is inside your home, and you tell him to leave, then you&#8217;re basically reinventing Jim Crow.
The rest of Nasheed&#8217;s defense makes a half-hearted comparison to the Kyle Rittenhouse and Daniel Penny cases. Nevermind the fact both Rittenhouse and Penny were repeatedly threatened with lethal force before they responded in kind, which is why juries acquitted both men. Also never mind the fact that Tariq Nasheed thinks both Penny and Rittenhouse should be in prison — which means, by his own logic, Anthony should be too.
But in reality, as those cases demonstrated, lethal force is the appropriate response to someone pointing a loaded gun in your face, or to a violent felon who&#8217;s terrorizing a subway car as he yells, &#8220;I&#8217;m going to kill you&#8221; and &#8220;I&#8217;m prepared to go to jail for life.&#8221; On the other hand, lethal force is not the appropriate response to a student touching your backpack during a track meet. The only person who could possibly be confused about this or pretend to be confused is someone who is seeking, as desperately as he possibly can, to justify the murder of a white minor at the hands of a black killer. That is the only explanation for this kind of reasoning, or lack thereof. We are witnessing the endorsement of racial violence, on a very large scale.
To give another example, someone named Talbert Swan, who calls himself a &#8220;bishop,&#8221; posted a <a href="https://www.threads.net/@talbertswan/post/DIHYiXqxbE2/yall-said-17-yr-old-kyle-rittenhouse-was-justified-in-killing-two-people-with-an">similar comparison</a> on social media. Again, it received an overwhelmingly positive response:
<blockquote>Y’all said 17 yr old Kyle Rittenhouse was justified in killing two people with an AR 15 because he felt threatened. 17 yr old Karmelo Anthony was defending himself when he killed Austin Metcalf with a knife and y’all think he deserves to go to prison. I wonder whyTE.</blockquote>
What&#8217;s being conflated here, again, is that Kyle Rittenhouse didn&#8217;t merely &#8220;feel&#8221; threatened. The jury determined, correctly, that Rittenhouse&#8217;s fear was objectively reasonable. It was not a pretext. Rittenhouse did not invent his fear in order to kill anyone. Nor did he kill anyone because he has very little impulse control, or because he grew up in a culture that glorified violence. He killed people because they attempted to kill him first, and any reasonable person could see that. It was quite literally on video. There was no denying it.
The reason these people are making the Rittenhouse comparisons is that they&#8217;re projecting. They want to glorify racial violence, but they don&#8217;t want to make it explicit, at least not yet. So instead, they&#8217;re pretending that white people are already glorifying racial violence. They&#8217;re then framing black-on-white violence as a proportionate response.
Here&#8217;s <a href="https://x.com/MikeBaggz/status/1907927941566312508">another post</a>, from someone calling himself &#8220;Mike Baggz.&#8221; It racked up something like seven million views and 30,000 positive responses: 
<blockquote>Whenever white supremacists immediately flood our mentions before the full story is even out, you know something’s up. It turns out, Austin Metcalf was the aggressor, and the Black kid, Karmelo Anthony, was defending himself.</blockquote>
According to this analysis, the person who goes into the wrong tent while armed with a deadly weapon, and then dares someone to touch him, is not in the final analysis the &#8220;aggressor.&#8221; What&#8217;s missing in this analysis is that Metcalf never put Anthony in any fear of his life, reasonable or otherwise. Touching someone&#8217;s backpack at a track meet when they&#8217;re in the wrong tent is not a threat of lethal violence, especially in this context. Therefore, Anthony was not justified in using lethal force as a response. And Anthony probably knew that, which is why he got rid of the murder weapon, and why he asked the police officers if he could possibly have a viable self-defense claim — which is not something you do if you have a viable self-defense claim.
But a lot of people seem intent on ignoring these facts. 
Here&#8217;s <a href="https://x.com/HussleMase/status/1908172510442422722">another post</a> with ten million views and around 80,000 likes: 
<blockquote>The twins didn’t just &#8216;ask him to leave.&#8217; They tried to JUMP him. before attacking him, they tried to take his belongings, BROKE his phone, and STOMPED on it. &#8230; Ask yourself: If two 200+ lb attackers came at YOUR child, what would you expect them to do? Karmelo defended himself against violent aggressors. That is NOT a crime.</blockquote>
None of this is true. Austin Metcalf didn&#8217;t &#8220;jump&#8221; anyone. He didn&#8217;t attempt to steal any belongings, nor did he break anyone&#8217;s phone. All of that information was contained in a fake Facebook post from someone pretending to be the local chief of police. Anyone with access to Google, or who&#8217;s equipped with basic common sense, could have figured that out immediately. But millions of people wanted to believe that this post was true, even though it was obviously fake. And the reason these people wanted to believe this fake information is that, when you get down to it, they would support a black person — any black person — who kills a white person, for any reason. This is the OJ Simpson effect, except Karmelo Anthony isn&#8217;t famous. He has no pre-existing fanbase. This is the purest form of racial resentment. And now it&#8217;s on full display.
We&#8217;re not dealing with an honest disagreement about the facts here. We&#8217;re dealing with people who believe that violence against white people is justified, solely on the basis of their skin color. That is why, as of right now, a GiveSendGo fundraiser for Karmelo Anthony, the man who just stabbed a teenager in the heart and killed him, has raised more than $175,000. Yes, the killer&#8217;s family, with his official GiveSendGo, has raised $175,000. Those are people — actual people, not bots or trolls — giving someone money for killing a white kid.
The <a href="https://www.givesendgo.com/HelpKarmelo">fundraising page</a> complains that it&#8217;s been a &#8220;challenging and difficult time&#8221; for Karmelo Anthony&#8217;s family. It claims, &#8220;the narrative being spread is false, unjust, and harmful.&#8221; A similar fundraiser was taken down by GoFundMe, because raising money for murder suspects isn&#8217;t acceptable under their terms of service. But it&#8217;s apparently fine for GiveSendGo, the supposedly Christian alternative.
The reason this is happening, the reason a killer is being celebrated and even funded by a significant number of Americans, is that everything I said on Friday is true. The culture among young black males in this country glorifies violence. And in particular, it glorifies violence against white people. That&#8217;s why young black males are disproportionately violent, to a degree that&#8217;s almost impossible to believe. Black people are roughly 12 times more likely to kill a white person, and 28 times more likely to violently assault a white person, than the other way around.
This is what happens when the vast majority of black children are born without present fathers. It&#8217;s what happens when black culture is dominated by degeneracy. And it&#8217;s what happens when the worst kinds of people are hailed as heroes of the black community. Now it&#8217;s a kid who stabbed another kid in the heart. In the past it&#8217;s been George Floyd or Michael Brown or any other BLM martyr we might name. If not them, it&#8217;s rappers and athletes, who would be the least objectionable of the bunch, at least in most cases. But ask yourself: when was the last time that a great black man of high moral character, someone who achieved something meaningful, was given the George Floyd or Karmelo Anthony hagiography treatment?
You become what you admire. This is true of people and cultures. When you elevate people like Karmelo Anthony and George Floyd, you become like them. There are great black men and women in the world and throughout history, obviously. Just one modern day example is Ben Carson, one of the world&#8217;s greatest surgeons. His personal story is harrowing and inspiring. But he&#8217;s been cast out of &#8220;black culture.&#8221; Mainstream black culture celebrates George Floyd or Kendrick Lamar far more than it would ever celebrate a man like Carson. Not only are the good, decent, productive black men and women not celebrated they are in fact condemned by the very culture that should be celebrating them.
This is what happens with all of the Left&#8217;s victim groups. When you are a victim group, your heroes must be victims. The qualification to become a hero is not that you achieved something, but that something bad happened to you even if, in reality, you did the bad thing to yourself (as was the case with George Floyd, Karmelo Anthony, Michael Brown, and so on). We see a version of this problem in American culture at large. We tore down the statues of our true historical heroes, and now they&#8217;re being replaced by pop stars and celebrities and other assorted degenerates.
The end result of this trend, which is continuing even though so many Americans reject it, will be that many more people will die. Any country that tolerates racial violence will inevitably descend further and further towards dysfunction and open race warfare. If BLM types can justify the killing of Austin Metcalf, they can justify the murder of any white man, woman or child. That is their goal. That is why they&#8217;re sending money to the family of Karmelo Anthony and comparing him to Kyle Rittenhouse. And it&#8217;s why everyone, whether they&#8217;re white or black, needs to pay very close attention to where they&#8217;re living and what schools they&#8217;re sending their children to. Until this culture changes, and right now there are no signs that it will, the consequences of ignorance are simply too great to ignore.

There aren&#8217;t a lot of guarantees in the criminal justice system. But for a long time now, there&#8217;s been at least one thing you can be pretty sure of — if you kill someone else in self-defense, there&#8217;s a good chance you&#8217;re going to be charged with murder.
Trayvon Martin called George Zimmerman a cracker right before pounding his head into the pavement, and famously, the entire country — including the president of the United States — determined immediately that George Zimmerman was the bad guy. And of course, Kyle Rittenhouse very nearly had to spend the rest of his life in prison for the crime of defending himself against several people who tried to kill him, including a pedophile who just got out of a mental hospital and an Antifa footsoldier who drew a handgun on him.
Everyone&#8217;s heard of these cases because in both instances, there was a clear racial angle to push. Even though he didn&#8217;t kill any black people, the Kyle Rittenhouse incident happened in the context of BLM mobs torching cities. That&#8217;s why he became an instant target. George Zimmerman, for his part, gave Barack Obama a chance to talk about how systemically racist America is. So his case was useful for a moment as well.
But there are many self-defense cases that don&#8217;t make the mainstream news, at least not nearly to the same extent. And all of them, to one degree or another, contradict the prevailing media narrative, so the corporate press ignores them. But they&#8217;re important to talk about, in part because they show how prosecutors and witnesses are willing to lie to imprison people who exercise one of their most fundamental rights, which is the right of self-defense. And how casually they will destroy people’s lives for the crime of trying to preserve their own lives.
So I&#8217;m going to go in-depth into one of these cases, which is still ongoing and hasn&#8217;t gotten nearly as much attention as it deserves. Plus, it&#8217;s the premiere day for &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/judged-by-matt-walsh" target="_blank" rel="noopener">JUDGED</a>,&#8221; so a deep-dive on a court case seemed fitting.

Here&#8217;s the background.
In the summer of 2022, a man in his early 50&#8217;s named Nicolae Miu was out tubing with a group of people, including his wife, in the Apple River in Wisconsin. Apparently a member of his party dropped their phone somewhere in the river, and Nicolae Miu left his group and went looking for it. That&#8217;s when, around 3:40 p.m., Miu encountered a couple of additional tubing groups — one consisting of a bunch of teenagers, and the other including some adults.
Most of the involved parties are under the influence of alcohol and other drugs to varying degrees. They began exchanging some words. Here&#8217;s what happened next:

It&#8217;s clear from this footage that, throughout the entire incident right up until their friend gets stabbed, the crowd of teenagers doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything, or fearful for their lives in any way. And that makes sense. Miu is much older than they are, and, though they wouldn’t have known this, he just had quadruple bypass surgery.
Meanwhile, these teenagers are mostly football players in prime physical condition. So they appear to be very much the aggressors as they jeer and taunt the older man and accuse him of &#8220;looking for a little girl.&#8221;
Then something happens off-camera. An adult woman, who came over from another tubing group, gets in the man&#8217;s face. He apparently makes some sort of contact with her, and the mob pounces. They push the man and begin hitting him repeatedly after he goes down in the water. Meanwhile the woman is fine — she&#8217;s not hurt in any way. Only after the man fatally stabs one of his attackers — a teenager named Isaac Schuman — does the mood change. Schuman bled out on the scene. The man also stabbed several others who were attacking him.

Based on these facts, within 48 hours, the D.A. charged Nicolae Miu with first-degree murder. What&#8217;s followed, nearly two years later, is nothing short of a train wreck.
There are air-tight cases, close cases, and then there&#8217;s this. Pretty much every prosecution witness has demonstrated very clearly that they&#8217;re either lying or completely unsure of what happened two years ago. This is such a debacle that very real questions need to be asked about why this case was brought, and why these prosecutors still have jobs.
I&#8217;ll start with the incredible testimony of a witness named Larrion Davis, who recorded some of the footage of the incident. Under cross-examination (from one of Kyle Rittenhouse&#8217;s old lawyers, incidentally), Davis admits he lied to the police about why the group was upset with Miu. Watch:

It&#8217;s hard to believe this is a real interaction between two humans. 
Lawyer: &#8220;You said you saw him taking pictures of the girls.&#8221; 
Witness: &#8220;Yes, I said that.&#8221; 
Lawyer: &#8220;Did you see it?&#8221; 
Witness: &#8220;No, I said it.&#8221;
To be clear, we&#8217;re talking about falsely accusing a man of pedophilia, two years after the fact. And the only excuse he can come up with for lying is, &#8220;There was a lot going on.&#8221;
Keep in mind, this is a prosecution witness. This should be the end of the case right here. This is the clearest possible evidence that the people Miu confronted decided, long after the fact, to come up with a story to justify their aggression towards him. They have no credibility whatsoever.
You&#8217;ll remember in the video, someone shouted that Miu was &#8220;looking for a girl.&#8221; But on cross-examination, another witness, Jawahn Cockfield, admitted that the claim wasn&#8217;t based on any evidence whatsoever. Watch:

So they just called this man a &#8220;raper&#8221; who&#8217;s interested in little girls, as a way of scoping out the situation. That&#8217;s their way of gathering intel, apparently. And then, elsewhere in the testimony, Cockfield claims to be shocked that the man, in response, turned around and became upset.
None of this makes any sense. And as the trial went on, it continued to make no sense. For example, on cross-examination, it was revealed that the dead teenager&#8217;s best friend, Owen Peloquin, told police — on the day of the incident — that Miu was looking for a lost phone, not underage girls. 
Listen to the defense attorney read Peloquin&#8217;s prior statement, and then watch as Peloquin tries to weasel out of the admission:

Now, two years later, Peloquin&#8217;s memory is suddenly better. And by that, he means his memory is worse. Now he doesn&#8217;t recall the guy ever saying anything about missing a phone. And he had no way of figuring out how to tell the police any of this, because he&#8217;s just 19-years-old. And 19-year-olds are apparently completely unable to use Google or cellphones or dial 911, evidently.
These are strange lapses in the prosecution&#8217;s case, to say the least. And it keeps going. Peloquin also testifies that he simply can&#8217;t remember the fact that one of his friends was shouting &#8220;For the culture&#8221; to egg on a fight. Watch:

Admittedly, I had to look this one up, because I&#8217;m not a teenager. If you go on Urban Dictionary, you&#8217;ll find that &#8220;for the culture&#8221; <a href="https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=For%20the%20Culture">means</a>,
<blockquote>When you do something you know you usually wouldn&#8217;t have done and are doing it purely for the hype factor of going against your usual judgment to instead try something new and different.</blockquote>
This is what one of the &#8220;witnesses&#8221; was shouting as the mob descended on this 52-year-old man.
This is the kind of fact that, if you&#8217;re trying to make Nicolae Miu out to be the aggressor, is kind of inconvenient. So Owen just pretends he doesn&#8217;t remember it happening. Problem solved, according to the prosecutors.
These kinds of inconsistencies are continuing to pile up as the trial goes along. But a few facts were definitively established. One is that, contrary to what some of these teenagers said, Miu never knocked a woman down at any point during this altercation. She was captured on the recording, standing upright and holding her phone.
Additionally, Miu never stabbed anyone until he was in the water, surrounded by a mob that was punching him in the face. So Nicolae Miu waited until his life was in danger before he used deadly force.
And once he began stabbing people, he didn&#8217;t indiscriminately start swinging. Instead, he only targeted the people who were targeting him — including Isaac Schuman, who put his hands on Miu&#8217;s neck. Watch:

It&#8217;s not an exaggeration to say that the prosecution has not presented a single witness to bolster its claim that this was first-degree murder. Instead, every single witness rebutted their argument. 
Here for example is another witness, A.J. Martin, who concedes that ganging up on a man in his 50s and beating him may, in fact, not deescalate an already-tense situation:

So far, we have the prosecution establishing the following facts: Most of its witnesses are liars. It was completely reasonable for this 50-year-old man to fear for his life. One of the teenagers had his hand on this man&#8217;s neck while the others pummeled him from behind. And that they all lied about him being a pedophile, two years after the fact.
This is not exactly the kind of case it takes Perry Mason to win. But somehow, once again, things got worse for the prosecution. Yet another witness claimed that the group was &#8220;afraid&#8221; of Nicolae Miu, but began to feel a little more secure as other adults began surrounding him as well. So he&#8217;s presenting this image of a deranged 50-year-old man who&#8217;s freaking him out. Then the defense attorney shows a photo of the witness looking extremely enthusiastic and not remotely afraid. Watch:

That&#8217;s not the face of someone who&#8217;s afraid for his life, and who&#8217;s grateful that other adults have appeared to deal with a threat. Everyone looking at this footage knows that. This is yet another prosecution witness who is lying, overtly, on the stand.
I could go on for another hour dissecting every other aspect of this case, and how totally disastrous it&#8217;s been for the prosecution, but you get the point. 
In no sane country is this a first-degree murder case. And by the way, there is no &#8220;duty to retreat&#8221; in Wisconsin, but even if there were, there was no real chance for this man to get away once the mob descended on him. This is a completely unjustifiable prosecution no matter how you look at it.
It was brought for the same reason that most other self-defense claims are brought — to terrorize the rest of the population into submission. Remember how the Rittenhouse prosecutor said &#8220;everyone takes a beating now and then?&#8221; We&#8217;re pretty close to the prosecutors in this case saying the same thing. That&#8217;s more or less their argument at this point — that 52-year-old men should just accept their mob beatings, rather than defend themselves. But that is obviously outrageous. 
In a sane society, if you harass and assault someone, whatever happens next — whatever violence erupts as a result of your choices — is your fault. If you don’t want to get shot or stabbed, don’t go around trying to bully random strangers just for fun.
The reason this case isn&#8217;t on every mainstream channel is that the mob happened to be white, for the most part. But this is every bit as serious and coordinated an attack on the right to self-defense as the Rittenhouse and Zimmerman trials were. The judge should dismiss the charges. The prosecutors should be disbarred, and new prosecutors should consider looking into perjury charges for some of these witnesses. 
If none of that happens — and if somehow the jury convicts — then we can say with certainty that, just a couple years after the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, the right of self-defense has been suspended in the state of Wisconsin. Everyone living there should either move, or prepare accordingly. And the rest of us should do everything we can to preserve our fundamental rights while we still have them.

A man who survived being shot by Kyle Rittenhouse during the 2020 Kenosha, Wisconsin, riots has filed a lawsuit against the 20-year-old and multiple police departments and officials.
Gaige Grosskreutz, who was shot in the arm by Rittenhouse after pointing a gun at the then-teenager, is seeking &#8220;damages for emotional distress, humiliation, loss of enjoyment of life, and other pain and suffering on all claims,&#8221; as well as economic losses and punitive damages, Fox News <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/kyle-rittenhouse-hit-lawsuit-man-he-shot-2020-kenosha-clash-little-bit-shock">reported</a>. Grosskreutz filed the lawsuit on February 14.
&#8220;Astonishingly, the Kenosha Police Department, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, their supervising officials and police officers, and law enforcement officers from surrounding communities did not treat Defendant Rittenhouse or any of the other armed individuals patrolling the streets as a threat to the safety of themselves or the citizens they were sworn to protect,&#8221; the lawsuit says.
&#8220;Instead, the law enforcement Defendants deputized these armed individuals, conspired with them, and ratified their actions by letting them patrol the streets, armed with deadly weapons, to mete out justice as they saw fit,&#8221; the lawsuit adds.
Grosskreutz admitted to pointing a gun at Rittenhouse when he testified at the latter’s trial in 2021. Rittenhouse, who was charged with murder after fatally shooting two men and injuring Grosskreutz, was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-kyle-rittenhouse-found-not-guilty">found not guilty</a> in November 2021 following a contentious trial.
On August 25, 2020, when Rittenhouse was 17, he and others armed with rifles began patrolling downtown Kenosha in order to protect a used car dealership from the looting and vandalism taking place during the riots in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a black man, by a white police officer.
While guarding the car dealership, rioters began chasing Rittenhouse, and “[u]pon the sound of a gunshot behind him, Kyle turned and was immediately faced with an attacker lunging towards him and reaching for his rifle. He reacted instantaneously and justifiably with his weapon to protect himself, firing and striking the attacker,” a 2021 statement from his attorneys said.
“In fear for his life and concerned the crowd would either continue to shoot at him or even use his own weapon against him, Kyle had no choice but to fire multiple rounds towards his immediate attackers, striking two, including one armed attacker,” the law firm added.
A jury acquitted Rittenhouse of all charges.
Rittenhouse told Fox News that he would &#8220;prove my innocence again&#8221; during the lawsuit, but said he knew it would cost a lot of money to defend himself.

The Twitter Files revealed that one of the most important content distribution platforms on the internet had been corrupted by severe <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/new-twitter-files-release-shows-how-adam-schiff-staffers-harassed-the-company-with-absurd-ban-requests">ideological bias</a>. Leaked documents reveal Twitter staff suspending accounts and tinkering with distribution algorithms for purely political reasons. The Right always suspected Twitter wasn’t a fair forum; the Twitter Files proved it.
The Right has long held similar suspicions about YouTube, which has an estimated monthly user base of <a href="https://www.omnicoreagency.com/youtube-statistics/">2.6 billion</a> compared Twitter’s estimated <a href="https://www.statista.com/statistics/303681/twitter-users-worldwide/">368 million</a> monthly users. Critics tend to focus on obvious acts of censorship: Banning videos or shutting down channels for no apparent reason other than they offend liberal sensibilities. Alternative video hosting sites like <a href="https://rumble.com/">Rumble</a> have emerged to provide Right-wing and heterodox voices a censorship-free platform, but the audiences for those sites remain a microscopic fraction of YouTube’s.
My company, <a href="https://www.goodkidproductions.com/">Good Kid Productions</a>, has just been victimized by what appears to be a more subtle means of YouTube censorship, a way for the site to shut down dissident voices under the guise of “community safety.”
Late last year, our channel released <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzAMjU14z4w">documentary</a> investigating two famous viral incidents centered on Kenosha, Wisconsin: The summer of 2020 shooting of Jacob Blake, a black man, by a white police officer, and, in the midst of the subsequent violent BLM riots, the killing of two people by <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/thats-when-i-knew-they-didnt-have-a-case-rittenhouse-details-critical-moments-of-trial">Kyle Rittenhouse</a>, a teenager who came to Kenosha with an AR-15-style rifle to help protect private businesses.
For the first four weeks after its release, the video was untouched by YouTube management, allowing it to steadily rack up views. Then, suddenly, in late December, without warning, YouTube designated the video as “<a href="https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2802167?hl=en">age-restricted</a>.” 
This is supposed to be a yellow-card punishment. Videos get slapped with this designation for violating “community guidelines,” vaguely defined rules supposedly intended to prevent violent, sexual, dangerous, or otherwise inappropriate content from polluting the platform. The “age-restricted” designation doesn’t fully nuke the video: It gets to stay up, but under restrictions that, in theory, simply prevent it from reaching an underage audience.
In practice, age restriction is a death knell: The video can’t be embedded on external websites; viewers have to sign in before they can watch it; and it receives scant – if any – boost from YouTube’s recommendation algorithm, which is a crucial source of views.
A documentary deconstructing the media’s coverage of a police shooting and the resulting mass riots is, admittedly, going to contain some mature themes. But all the “mature” visuals come from publicly available news pieces that are themselves available unrestricted on YouTube. The violence isn’t graphic. It’s the sort that might make PBS News. There’s no blood, guts, or sex, and there’s just a single use of profanity (by a BLM activist). And YouTube’s community guidelines explicitly carve out exceptions for news pieces, which is exactly what our documentary is.
The original age restriction notification did not specify what part or parts of the video were problematic, so we were left to guess how to fix it. YouTube has native editing tools that allow channel managers to modify videos after they’ve been published. We used them to blur out some gun violence and then formally submitted an appeal, which is supposed to be overseen by a flesh-and-blood human being.
On January 1, we received a reply from “Emman” at YouTube support informing us that “a human reviewer re-evaluated your content and determined that it does violate our Community Guidelines. We know this is probably disappointing news, but it&#8217;s our job to make sure that YouTube is a safe place for all.” 
That’s it for the explanation. Emman didn’t provide specifics. He (she? it?) didn’t tell us what triggered the original designation or what doomed our appeal. Presumably, YouTube gets thousands of appeal requests every day. We’re not expecting a detailed report; we just want to know what specifically the human reviewer saw that made them rule to retain the restriction.
We responded by asking what specific parts of the video would need to be modified to drop the restriction. On January 12, Emman replied: “I understand that you would like to blur out your video, and have them [sic] be reviewed again. Unfortunately, if the video is already reviewed by our internal team the decision is final regardless if the video is edited or not.”
And that’s it. There is no next step. Views on the video have dropped to a trickle. It’s been shared by several large social media accounts, each with millions of followers, but the age restriction is a traffic choke point, substantially squeezing down the audience generated by those shares.
There’s no definitive proof this restriction is political, but it’s hard not to be suspicious. Our documentary deconstructs the lazy, leftist lies about race and police that saturate Silicon Valley. What would a Twitter Files-like revelation of the internal communications of YouTube reveal? How many of these restriction decisions are arbitrary? And how many are driven by an agenda?

The man who was caught on video firing a gun moments before <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kyle-rittenhouse" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kyle Rittenhouse</a> shot and killed two assailants during the 2020 riot in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kenosha" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kenosha, WI.</a>, has been charged with armed robbery and other alleged crimes, according to a report.
Joshua Ziminski and his wife, Kelly Ziminski, both of whom took part in the August 25, 2020 riots that rocked the city, were charged Monday night with crimes including the armed robbery charge as well as armed burglary, false imprisonment, intimidation, and ID theft, the <a href="https://kenoshacountyeye.com/2022/09/13/kenosha-rioting-duo-including-man-who-shot-first-in-jail-holding-on-six-felonies-including-armed-robbery-burglary/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kenosha County Eye reported</a>. Details of the crime spree were not immediately available, but The Daily Wire confirmed that both Ziminskis were booked Monday on multiple charges.
Ziminski was arrested following the riots on a gun charge as well as arson, for his alleged role in setting a trailer on fire during the riot. Video of the riot showed him firing a handgun in the air as Rittenhouse, who told reporters he was there to guard businesses from rioters, ran for his life. The then-17-year-old shot three people who chased and attacked him, including Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, who both died.

Rittenhouse was charged with counts of first-degree intentional and reckless homicide in the deaths, as well as for the wounding of Gaige Grosskreutz. But a jury found he was defending himself during the riot, which was sparked by the police shooting of an armed black man named Jacob Blake. The teen was facing life in prison with no chance at parole, but was acquitted on all charges last November.
Rittenhouse, who lived with his mom across the state border in Illinois, worked as a lifeguard in Kenosha, where his father lived. He had agreed to help provide security for local merchants on the night of the riots, and was armed with an AR-15-style rifle that he had bought. He was also acquitted of weapons charges in the case.
After his acquittal, Rittenhouse became a symbol of self-defense to many on the right, while his critics claimed he got away with murder.
Ziminski was charged several months after the riot and was freed on bail earlier this year, the outlet reported. He was awaiting trial when he was arrested Monday.
Ziminski, who has an upside-down crucifix, three teardrops, and the word “SIN” tattooed on his head, was originally supposed to go on trial in January for the riot-related charges, but the trial was delayed after he was accused of intimidating a freelance photographer who was set to testify in the case.

Kyle Rittenhouse on Thursday posted two viral tweets pushing back on calls for so-called common sense gun control measures in the wake of the tragic Uvalde, Texas, school shooting.
Rittenhouse fatally shot two rioters and injured a third while defending himself against attackers during a Black Lives Matter protest that devolved into a riot during the summer of 2020. The teen was facing life in prison with no chance at parole, but a jury found him not guilty.
&#8220;&#8216;The right of people to keep and bear arms shall NOT be infringed,&#8217; Joe,&#8221; Rittenhouse said via Twitter, seemingly making a reference to President Joe Biden and his speech concerning efforts to curb Americans&#8217; gun rights.

Following last year&#8217;s verdict, Rittenhouse similarly asserted, “Self-defense is not illegal, and I believe they came to the correct verdict, and I’m glad that everything went well.”
Biden on Thursday called for &#8220;red flag&#8221; laws nationwide and a ban on &#8220;assault weapons.&#8221;
&#8220;We need to ban assault weapons and high capacity magazines. And if we can’t ban assault weapons, then we should raise the age to purchase them from 18 to 21,&#8221; the president <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/02/us/politics/biden-speech-transcript-gun-control.html">said</a>. &#8220;Strengthen the background checks, enact safe storage laws and &#8216;red flag&#8217; laws. Repeal the immunity that protects gun manufacturers from liability. Address the mental health crisis deepening the trauma of gun violence, and as a consequence of that violence.&#8221;
&#8220;These are rational, common-sense measures,&#8221; he claimed. &#8220;Here’s what it all means. It all means this: We should reinstate the assault weapons ban on high capacity magazines that we passed in 1994 with bipartisan support in Congress and the support of law enforcement.&#8221;
Following the Uvalde shooting, Daily Wire emeritus and bestselling author Ben Shapiro slammed cynical efforts from the Left to curb gun rights.
&#8220;&#8216;Common sense gun reform&#8217; is in reality what the Left wrongly believes &#8216;thoughts and prayers&#8217; is for the Right: an empty phrase denoting &#8216;I care&#8217; but without any actual problem-solving content,&#8221; Shapiro posted via social media.

Former President Barack Obama is now warning the American people about the danger that &#8220;disinformation&#8221; poses to the nation&#8217;s democracy, but one has to wonder just when exactly he’s going to call out his own side of the political aisle for perpetuating myths and outright lies about conservatives and other issues over the past eight years. There certainly are numerous examples for Obama to choose from.
On Tuesday, Obama took time out of his post-presidency schedule to explain <a href="https://twitter.com/BarackObama/status/1516519230820212743?s=20&amp;t=-f-AGnPqWnH3Oq4_njEvdA">via Twitter</a> to the American people that, &#8220;In recent years, we&#8217;ve seen how quickly disinformation spreads, especially on social media.&#8221;
&#8220;This has created real challenges for our democracy,&#8221; he fretted.
In his infinite wisdom, and despite nobody asking, he told the American people, &#8220;Part of the reason it’s hard to bring about change is that we live in a media environment that elevates falsehoods as much as truths, and divides people as much as it brings them together.&#8221;
But, fear not fellow comrades, the Obama Presidential Foundation is &#8220;working to empower and equip emerging leaders to tackle issues like the spread of disinformation.&#8221;
Obama&#8217;s lectures became pretty passé quite some time ago, so it&#8217;s doubtful that anybody is even paying attention to his thoughts on the matter.
Regardless, for those who are keeping tabs on Obama, does anybody actually expect that the Obama Foundation will attempt to dispel pieces of &#8220;disinformation&#8221; like the belief amongst a number of progressives that Michael Brown was shot by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson with his hands up in the air? Even columnists at <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/wp/2015/03/16/lesson-learned-from-the-shooting-of-michael-brown/">The Washington Post</a> understand that&#8217;s untrue, but it would appear that few others understand it never happened, as the phrase, &#8220;Hands Up, Don&#8217;t Shoot,&#8221; has been featured in BLM rallies throughout America. This occurs <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/hands-up-dont-shoot-slogan-used-in-george-floyd-protests-stems-from-myth-debunked-by-obama-doj">even five years after the fact</a> that Obama&#8217;s own Justice Department reported that Brown was threatening Wilson when he was shot to death.
Or maybe Barry O. will let his buddy President Joe Biden know that Kyle Rittenhouse, a teenager accused of traveling across state lines to kill black people, is not a white supremacist. Biden <a href="https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/kyle-rittenhouse-biden/">heavily implied Rittenhouse was one in multiple advertisements</a> while on the campaign trail in 2020, yet has not issued an apology for smearing an innocent American.
Will the 44th president address the myth that his <a href="https://www.cato.org/commentary/stop-saying-donald-trump-colluded-russia">successor colluded with the Russian government</a> to get elected in 2016? Maybe Obama will beat Special Counsel John Durham to the punch by revealing the truth behind the phony Steele Dossier, the Clinton campaign&#8217;s role in the entire affair, and divulging details of who else was involved in what appears to be a cover-up and scandal involving allegations that were, as Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) said on Monday, “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/in-other-words-it-was-made-up-jim-jordan-rips-trump-russia-conspiracy-after-latest-durham-filing">it was made up</a>.”
At the very least, Obama could apologize to former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page for the fact that FBI agents made “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-ig-report-finds-fbi-fell-far-short-made-serious-errors-in-fisa-application-to-surveil-trump-campaign">serious errors</a>” that allowed the FISA court to <a href="https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-russia/justice-department-says-it-should-not-have-continued-spying-on-former-trump-adviser-idUSKBN1ZM34W">grant the DOJ permission</a> to spy on Page.
Speaking of presidential elections, will Obama spend any of his time focusing on the fact that social media censored one of the biggest stories of the 2020 presidential cycle — Hunter Biden&#8217;s infamous laptop? Of course, the <a href="https://nypost.com/2021/11/28/media-helped-hide-the-real-joe-biden-by-censoring-hunter-stories-devine/">legacy media assisted</a> in the effort to shield the public from the story that potentially implicates Hunter&#8217;s father in myriad scandals centered around Joe Biden&#8217;s time in office as vice president. Sure, press outlets now acknowledge that Hunter&#8217;s laptop is real, but in 2020, when they were bragging that 51 former intelligence officials said it bore the hallmarks of “Russian disinformation,” nobody seemed too keen on ensuring that they were reporting the truth.
The Obama Presidential Center has yet to actually be constructed. The logistics of it all have hit <a href="https://news.wttw.com/2022/03/30/federal-judge-dismisses-lawsuit-against-obama-presidential-center-protect-our-parks-vows">some snags on account</a> of Obama allegedly strong-arming the people of the south side of Chicago to build the complex, despite concerns that it will lead to gentrification and jack up property rates.
This means Obama will have plenty of time to travel the country for <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/barack-obama-narrates-new-netflix-nature-documentary-about-national-parks">more Netflix specials</a>, but maybe he&#8217;ll also reflect on the fact that practically the entire legacy media and his ideological allies spent time slandering Nicholas Sandmann in 2019 over a <a href="https://townhall.com/tipsheet/timothymeads/2019/01/20/so-called-adults-apoplectically-over-react-to-the-covington-high-school-kids-n2539329">totally bogus story</a> that the MAGA hat-wearing teenager was bullying a Native American elder at a pro-life march.
Sandmann, of course, fought back and appears to have <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-covington-catholic-student-nick-sandmann-gets-settlement-from-cnn-after-275-million-lawsuit">received a hefty settlement</a> from various outlets in the process. It would be nice if Obama included that example as one way to fight disinformation and protect the truth, but we won’t hold our breath.
To his credit, Obama actually has <a href="https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2013/12/13/250694372/obamas-you-can-keep-it-promise-is-lie-of-the-year">apologized</a> for at least one piece of “disinformation” that earned him “Lie of the Year” from Politifact in 2013. After millions of people lost their health insurance plans despite being told, “if you like you health care plan, you can keep your health care plan” by Obama himself, the commander-in-chief told the American people, “I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me.”
Despite that one moment of humility, a report from The New York Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2022/04/20/technology/barack-obama-disinformation.html">would indicate</a> that none of the aforementioned pieces of “fake news” in this article were the catalyst for Obama having a change of heart about the role social media and false information plays in society. Based on the Times report, what got Obama to think differently was “Russia’s flood of propaganda on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to stir confusion and chaos in the 2016 presidential election.”
As The Daily Wire has <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nate-silver-dismantles-russian-disinformation-james-barrett">reported</a>, that “flood of information” went both ways, and considering that <a href="https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/opinion/the-conversation/sd-how-much-money-russians-spent-twitter-facebook-ads-20170928-htmlstory.html">Russia spent roughly $300,000</a> on its efforts on Facebook, there is little to no evidence that it swayed the election one way or the other. For context, former Democratic candidate Mayor Mike Bloomberg <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/lisettevoytko/2020/03/03/bloomberg-spent-60-million-on-facebook-ads-and-just-1600-on-american-samoa-the-only-primary-hes-won/?sh=37b5f44265dd">spent $60 million</a> on Facebook ads and was a monumental loser in the 2020 Democratic primary.
On Thursday, Obama will apparently be giving a speech on the way we &#8220;consume information&#8221; to <a href="https://twitter.com/BarackObama/status/1516809485997723652?s=20&amp;t=-f-AGnPqWnH3Oq4_njEvdA">share</a> what he has learned after “sitting down with academics, researchers, industry leaders, and former regulators, and listening to young leaders&#8221; on the topic.
 Instead of doing that, maybe he better sit down with his Democratic colleagues and members of the legacy media to reflect on their gigantic mistakes over the last 8 years or so listed in this article.

Kyle Rittenhouse on Tuesday night revealed that he intends on suing NBA star LeBron James.
&#8220;I think everyone wants to know &#8230; what are your plans for LeBron James?&#8221; journalist and host Drew Hernandez <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6g3Ff8K0x00&amp;feature=youtu.be">asked</a> Rittenhouse on the debut episode of &#8220;Frontlines.&#8221;
&#8220;He&#8217;ll be getting a letter, too,&#8221; the teenager responded.
&#8220;LeBron James will be getting a letter, too,&#8221; Hernandez emphasized to his viewers.
Rittenhouse replied, &#8220;Anybody who defamed me, or lied about me, we&#8217;re just gonna send them a letter and then deal with them in a courtroom.&#8221;
During the same appearance, Rittenhouse said he doesn&#8217;t necessarily support the political organization of Black Lives Matter, but does support the idea that &#8220;black lives matter.&#8221;
&#8220;I support black lives mattering,&#8221; Rittenhouse told Hernandez. &#8220;I support black lives matter &#8212; they do matter.&#8221;

James in November mocked Rittenhouse for crying while testifying about a fatal encounter he had on August 25, 2020, with  <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-prosecutor-lists-numerous-alleged-crimes-of-man-kyle-rittenhouse-fatally-shot-downplays-as-irrelevant">Joseph Rosenbaum</a>. (The jury later found Rittenhouse had acted in self-defense during the encounter.)

Rittenhouse was overcome with emotion while testifying about he incident and the court had to take a ten minute recess, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-kyle-rittenhouse-breaks-down-into-sobs-while-testifying-on-stand-recess-called">The Daily Wire</a> reported at the time:
<blockquote>Rittenhouse, detailing the moments before he fired on Rosenbaum recalled Rosenbaum yelling “burn in hell” to him before Rittenhouse yelled “friendly, friendly, friendly!” in an attempt to calm Rosenbaum. But he was chased.
Rittenhouse described feeling “trapped” by Rosenbaum and another man, identified during the trial as Joshua Ziminski, who fired his pistol in the air. The teen said the man had the pistol pointed at him during the incident.
Before describing his actions to fire, Rittenhouse sobbed uncontrollably and a ten minute recess was called.</blockquote>
James also made waves back in April for suggesting without evidence that an officer was racially motivated for fatally shooting 16-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/experts-makhia-bryant-shooting-legally-justified-officer-likely-saved-one-or-more-lives">Ma’Khia Bryant</a>, who was, at the time, attempting to stab another girl. Bryant and the other girl involved are both black; the officer is white.
In a now-deleted tweet, the L.A. Laker posted an image of the officer with the ominous caption, “YOU’RE NEXT. #ACCOUNTABILITY.”
After that was deleted, in another tweet, James wrote, “I’m so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police. I took the tweet down because its [sic] being used to create more hate – This isn’t about one officer. [sic] it’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism. I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY.”
Further, in May, James said black people in America are “literally hunted everyday/everytime” in reaction to the fatal shooting of 25-year-old black man Ahmaud Arbery.
“We’re literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step foot outside the comfort of our homes!” James tweeted.
“Can’t even go for a damn jog man!” the NBA star continued. “Like [what the f***] man are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?!? No man fr ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I’m sorry Ahmaud (Rest In Paradise) and my prayers and blessings sent to the […] heavens above to your family!!”

Kyle Rittenhouse joined &#8220;Tucker Carlson Tonight&#8221; on Monday to announce his new initiative &#8220;The Media Accountability Project&#8221; — a group that will be used to hold &#8220;members of the media accountable&#8221; for lies and defamation similar to what Rittenhouse endured before, during, and after his homicide trial in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in 2021. Rittenhouse was ultimately found not guilty on all charges after he was accused of murdering two men during a riot in 2020.
&#8220;So for over a year, media outlets in this country lied about Kyle Rittenhouse in an effort to have put behind bars for the rest of his life. They called him a white supremacist, which he is not. They told us he crossed state lines with an AR-15, which he did not, and therefore he was a terrorist,&#8221; Carlson explained before showing a montage of MSNBC guests like Reverend Al Sharpton and others accusing Rittenhouse of embodying white supremacy.
&#8220;White supremacy – no one he shot was not white, everyone involved in the story was white, of course, but it&#8217;s white supremacy,&#8221; Carlson said sarcastically. &#8220;They&#8217;re lying to put the kid in prison for the rest of his life. What they just told you there are lies. Rittenhouse&#8217;s mother didn&#8217;t drive him across state lines with an AR-15; he borrowed the gun from a friend in Wisconsin. He lived about 15 minutes from Wisconsin. He worked in Wisconsin. So, the question is, after a full year of watching these people lie in order to imprison a kid for the rest of his, who&#8217;s going to hold the liars accountable?&#8221; Carlson pondered before introducing Rittenhouse.
&#8220;Kyle, thank you so much for coming on tonight. I can&#8217;t think of many people who&#8217;ve been at the receiving end of this much sinister lying from so-called news organizations as you have. How are you going to respond?&#8221; Carlson asked.
&#8220;Well Tucker thank you for having me,&#8221; Rittenhouse said. &#8220;Me and my team have decided to launch the &#8216;Media Accountability Project&#8217; as a tool to help fundraise and hold the media accountable for the lies they said and deal with them in court.&#8221;
&#8220;Interesting, so the idea is — maybe like the Covington Catholic kids — you will be suing news organizations that maliciously lie about people who are in the news?&#8221; Carlson inquired.
&#8220;Yes, sir. We&#8217;re going to be holding them accountable, Tucker,&#8221; Rittenhouse affirmed.
&#8220;I guess I have to ask kind of a dumb question, why isn&#8217;t there a group like this that exists already since the media so often not observers, they&#8217;re players, they&#8217;re participants in the news? Why hasn&#8217;t somebody done this before?&#8221; the host asked.
&#8220;That&#8217;s a good question, Tucker, and I&#8217;m not sure, to be honest,&#8221; Rittenhouse answered. &#8220;But I don&#8217;t want to see anybody else have to deal with what I went through, so I want to hold them accountable for what they did to me, so I don&#8217;t want to see anybody else have to go through what I went through.&#8221;

Kyle Rittenhouse Announces New Project ‘To Hold The Media Accountable’

Kyle Rittenhouse sat down with Daily Wire host Candace Owens this week for an exclusive interview &#8212; and all things were on the table, including the teen&#8217;s life before, during, and after trial, and what Rittenhouse has coming in the future, particularly for those who famously smeared him as a “murderer,” “vigilante,” and “white supremacist.&#8221;
Rittenhouse told Owens he was just a &#8220;normal kid&#8221; who wanted to &#8220;help people&#8221; before his life was turned upside down in the summer of 2020.
&#8220;I was a lifeguard, I was a swim instructor, and I was a firefighter EMT cadet, and a police explorer, so I just wanted to help people before all this. And I still wanna help people,&#8221; he told Owens.
Rittenhouse fatally shot two male attackers in Kenosha, Wisconsin, at a protest that had evolved into a riot on August 25, 2020. In November, he was found not guilty on all charges related to the incident.
Democrats and their allies in the media worked to smear the then-17-year-old as a racist out for blood, before, and even after the acquittal.
&#8220;It&#8217;s been hard&#8221; since the night of the attacks,&#8221; Rittenhouse told Owens, &#8220;definitely been waking up at night with cold sweats.&#8221; But at the time, he said, he &#8220;didn&#8217;t realize how big the case actually was until a few months later.&#8221;
Then the media attacks became unavoidable, Rittenhouse disclosed. I was called &#8220;a white supremacist, a vigilante, and those just aren&#8217;t true.&#8221;
Notably, now-President Joe Biden ran a presidential campaign ad that falsely implies Rittenhouse is a “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/rittenhouse-spokesman-slams-biden-for-ad-implying-teen-a-white-supremacist">white supremacist</a>.”
The Daily Wire’s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kyle-rittenhouses-attorney-demands-biden-remove-ad-claiming-client-is-a-white-supremacist-threatens-defamation-lawsuit">Ashe Schow</a> reported on the Biden ad in question in September 2020:
<blockquote>… Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden released a digital ad on his official Twitter account that included President Donald Trump’s debate remarks about white supremacists. As the debate transcript plays, images from Charlottesville, Virginia, are shown. Thirty-seven seconds into the ad, as debate moderator Chris Wallace is discussing white supremacy and mentions Kenosha, Wisconsin, an image of 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse is displayed.
Biden’s tweet explains, “There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night.”</blockquote>
Owens noted that all involved in the incident were white, emphasizing the bizarre framing of Rittenhouse as a &#8220;white supremacist.&#8221;
&#8220;There&#8217;s going to be some accountability, Candace,&#8221; Rittenhouse assured the &#8220;Candace&#8221; host.
In the past, he has hinted at forthcoming legal action against those who&#8217;ve smeared him as a racist vigilante.
&#8220;I would never have voted for Joe Biden,&#8221; Rittenhouse continued, referring to Biden&#8217;s attack. &#8220;I would have voted for Trump [if I was of voting age]; Trump was right, he supported me from the beginning and he helped tell the truth of what happened.&#8221;
For now, Rittenhouse is enrolled in college and plans to ultimately pursue a degree in law. He also said he&#8217;s taking classes to become a pilot and spending lots of time snowboarding.

A UCLA professor who is a self-described “Egyptologist” included a passage in a book she authored claiming Kyle Rittenhouse shot two black men, and when she was harshly criticized for her mistake, apologized but insisted that “America has a race problem,” a “deep-seeded obsession with patriarchal power,” and is plagued by “white supremacy” and “misogyny.”

I was held to a higher standard than this for papers I wrote in high school. You aren&#8217;t a victim here.
If you and your publishers put out a book &#8220;mistaking&#8221; an easily verifiable detail of a major case from this past year how can you or your publishers be trusted to put out information about ancient history
How much can you really claim to care about this issue when you got such an obvious detail wrong? Did you not watch the case at all? The footage? How can you reconcile your alleged understanding of this problem with your ignorance about such a simple fact?</blockquote>
In December, Rittenhouse told Glenn Beck he <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/rittenhouse-wants-conversation-with-biden-over-white-supremacist-suggestion/">wanted</a> to have a “conversation” with President Joe Biden for suggesting that Rittenhouse was a “white supremacist.” He stated, “I would like to sit down with the president and have a conversation with him and tell him the facts of what happened.”
Rittenhouse was referring to a <a href="https://twitter.com/JoeBiden/status/1311268302950260737">tweet</a> Biden released during his 2020 presidential campaign that contained a video showing Rittenhouse carrying his AR-15 in Kenosha. Biden tweeted of former President Trump, “There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night.”
Rittenhouse later told Tucker Carlson of Fox News, “Mr. President, if I could say one thing to you, I would urge you to go back and watch the trial and understand the facts before you make a statement.” After Carlson interjected, “That’s not a small thing to be called that,” Rittenhouse continued, “No, it’s, it’s actual malice, defaming my character for him to say something like that. It’s actually quite hysterical how nobody can go back and look at the facts of the case. ‘He crossed state lines,’ false. ‘He’s a white supremacist,’ false. None of that is true. And the lies that they can just get away with spreading is just sickening. And it’s a disgrace to this country.”
