<p>Hollywood A-lister John Travolta appears to be having some difficulty with a listing of his own — a <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/12/13/john-travolta-cant-sell-his-maine-mansion/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">real estate listing</a>, that is. His Maine compound — which the late actress <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/kirstie-alleys-cause-of-death-revealed/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kirstie Alley</a> found for him — has been on the market for nearly two years, and no one has been willing to cough up the $5 million the &#8220;Grease&#8221; actor is asking for it.</p>
<p>Travolta and his late wife, actress <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/ex-scientologists-discuss-john-travoltas-dark-side-james-barrett/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kelly Preston</a>, designed the massive Isleboro estate in 1991, shortly after they were married — and Travolta put the property on the market less than a year after Preston passed away following a secret battle with breast cancer.</p>
<p>The 20-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion sprawls over 10,830 square feet — and required a massive transformative effort. Travolta and Preston described how Alley had led them to the property and the work they put into the home — when they first renovated the space — during a 1999 <a href="https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/john-travolta-and-kelly-preston-maine-house" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> with Architectural Digest.</p>
<p>&#8220;Kirstie had a big Kennedy-compound-style house on the water and wanted everyone to move there. So we looked at all these blue-blood homes. I loved them but knew they wouldn&#8217;t cut it size-wise for my whole family,&#8221; Travolta said, explaining that his lifelong dream had been to have enough space to host his 50-person family for Christmas.</p>
<p>&#8220;She said, ‘Well, there is another,’ and we came to this house. When I saw it, I said to Kirstie, ‘Why did you withhold this? It&#8217;s a fairy-tale house,’” he continued.</p>
<p>Travolta went on to explain that he and Preston had enlisted the help of interior decorator Sister Parish — who he said was &#8220;wonderful.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;This house has always been a masterpiece, so Sister Parish knew what it was like before—very dark and somber,&#8221; he continued, and Preston added, &#8220;Almost spooky. And John and I came in and redid everything—carpets, furniture—in cream and eggshell. If you need to do it quickly, go white.&#8221;</p>
<p>The couple closed on the 1903 home in September of that year — and immediately invited 55 family members to spend Christmas with them, dramatically shortening the deadline for having the space livable. &#8220;It was madness — but so much fun,&#8221; Preston said of the marathon redecorating process.</p>
<p>Preston, who was pregnant with son Jett at the time, designed the entire third floor of the home with kids in mind. It included four themed bedrooms, a school room, a library, a stage, and even a diner.</p>
<p>Other features included a private sun porch, a square tower, a fieldstone fireplace in the living room, a walk-in refrigerator, and boat access.</p>

<p>Actress <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/breaking-actress-kirstie-alley-star-of-cheers-dead-at-71/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kirstie Alley</a> died on Monday, December 5, after a short battle with cancer.</p>
<p>Her children, True and Lillie Parker, made the heartbreaking announcement via their mother&#8217;s social media accounts — and on Tuesday, a representative for the late actress <a href="https://people.com/tv/kirstie-alley-died-of-colon-cancer-her-rep-reveals/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">confirmed</a> to People Magazine that Alley, 71, had only recently been diagnosed with colon cancer.</p>
<p>According to the &#8220;Cheers&#8221; actress&#8217; children, she had been receiving treatment at the time of her death from the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.</p>
<p>A number of her <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/hollywood-reacts-to-tragic-death-of-beloved-cheers-star-kirstie-alley/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hollywood colleagues</a> offered their prayers and condolences via social media following the news of her passing. Among them was her ex-husband and the father of her children, actor Parker Stevenson — to whom she was married from 1983-1997.</p>

<p>Over her long career in Hollywood and on television, Alley racked up dozens of acting credits — 76 to her name, according to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) — and played iconic roles from the small screen (Rebecca Howe on &#8220;Cheers&#8221;) to the silver screen (Mollie in &#8220;Look Who&#8217;s Talking&#8221; and Saavik in &#8220;Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan&#8221;).</p>

<p>“I sought this office to restore the soul of America,” Biden shared at the time. “And to make America respected around the world again and to unite us here at home.”</p>

<p>On Thursday, actress Kirstie Alley, apparently fed-up with what she perceived as the patronizing air White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki adopts when speaking to the press, unleashed a blast in which she ripped Psaki for avoiding answering questions and instead resorting to “mean girl s***.”</p>

<p>Actress Kirstie Alley slammed so-called trans “inclusive” terminology like “chest-feeding” over the weekend, claiming it degrades and nullifies women.</p>
<p>The &#8220;Cheers&#8221; star first broached the subject on Twitter Saturday morning, with a post that <a href="https://twitter.com/kirstiealley/status/1426512147476004866?s=20">said</a>, “BREAST-FEEDING IS what WOMEN do. Women also bottle feed. Men bottle feed too. We do not have to buckle to the insanity of the minuscule minority of lunatics who make us feel guilty for not sharing their insanity. ‘Chest feeding?’ ‘human milk feeding?’ WTF STOP IT!!!”</p>
<p>It was unclear what sparked Alley’s comment, but last week, as The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/academy-of-breastfeeding-medicine-introduces-new-lactation-related-language-human-milk-feeding">reported</a>, the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine published new guidelines on “lactation-related language.” Among the organization’s recommendations is replacing the verb breastfeeding with gender-neutral terms like “human milk feeding” and “chest-feeding” because, they claim, “not all people who give birth and lactate identify as female.”</p>
<p>While the vast majority of responses to Alley, including nearly 16,000 likes, expressed agreement, she seemed to address the comparatively few critical replies about 15 minutes later.</p>
<p>“I’m a little tired of the degrading and nullifying of women and their abilities,” she <a href="https://twitter.com/kirstiealley/status/1426516832488411142?s=20">explained</a> further. “Breastfeeding is one of our abilities. It’s a beautiful and important ability. Knock off the nullifying of women [for] the sake of lunatics. Equal rights does not equal insanity.” A few minutes after that, she <a href="https://twitter.com/kirstiealley/status/1426519743373139971?s=20">added</a>, “It’s our personal responsibility to agree or disagree with concepts. My only point here today is don’t let insanity force you to pretend like you agree with the insanity. It’s part of the insanity to shame you into agreement.”</p>
<p>In her final post on Saturday, Alley denied that her support for former President Trump had any impact on her beliefs about the issue of trans terminology, <a href="https://twitter.com/kirstiealley/status/1426521412353855488?s=20">saying</a>, “My views of this BS are not political. I have plenty of friends from both political persuasions who SHARE the view of the INSANITIES being shoved down our throats by pervs trying to degrade our society. Don’t be afraid to disagree with people who seek to pervert workable morals.”</p>
<p>The following day, Alley <a href="https://twitter.com/kirstiealley/status/1426903516895977478?s=20">addressed</a> another detractor.</p>
<p>“I don’t need to speak for ‘cis’ women,” she said to a critic who <a href="https://twitter.com/Juice_Foxx/status/1426901201539407875?s=20">argued</a> that Alley doesn’t speak for “cis women’s breasts or bodies.” She went on, “I am a woman and feel comfortable just calling myself a woman and having a woman’s point of view. I don’t need to be ASKED to speak Deb. We handled that pretty well in 1920.”</p>
<p>In Alley’s final word on the subject Sunday, she shared that she prefers terms that acknowledge her own womanhood.  “For the record I don’t care what people call themselves or categorize their identity. Just leave mine alone,” she said. “I’m happy with woman, mother, actress, sister, daughter, grandma and [girlie] &#8230;”</p>

‘Run By Children’: CNN Slammed For Tweet Attacking Actress Who Criticized Them

<p>Actress Kirstie Alley is out in force bashing all things politically correct and woke. Her latest target: CNN, for pushing an onslaught of COVID-19 news she feels is designed to institute more lockdowns, which equals more economic hardship.</p>
<p>In a tweet on Friday morning, Alley said that CNN has made people live in &#8220;sheer terror&#8221; of the coronavirus due to their reporting.</p>

<p>Alley is hardly the first media figure to blast the MSM&#8217;s 24/7 coverage of COVID-19. During the early outset of the pandemic, former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson coined the term &#8220;panic porn&#8221; to describe the hysterical reactions.</p>
<p>“The virus appears to be less dangerous than we thought it was a month ago,” <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/former-nyt-reporter-alex-berenson-rips-new-yorker-for-covid-19-panic-porn">Berenson told</a> Fox Nation back in May. “The economic devastation and the societal devastation of the lockdowns appear to be greater than even the worst projections were a month ago.”</p>
<p>Berenson then argued that politicians and public health officials put themselves in a difficult situation by implementing such harsh measures without having the evidence to back it up.</p>
<p>“What I think is that people took a very, very aggressive action a month ago without necessarily thinking through what the economic or societal consequences were going to be,” said Berenson. “Now more and more evidence is coming out that we responded too harshly, that maybe we should have taken smaller steps and seen what happened before we went to the place we went. And it seems to me very, very hard, both for politicians and for the public health establishment, to acknowledge this and to walk us back in a reasonable way.”</p>
<p>For herself, Alley has largely not made any declarative statements about the COVID-19 pandemic until this Friday. Prior to that, the actress made headlines when she endorsed President Trump.</p>
