Kevin Hart’s plant-based fast-food chain suddenly closed all its locations in the Los Angeles area two years after it opened, with only a message on Instagram about starting a “new chapter.”
In a post last week on social media from the account of Hart House, the vegan fast food chain owned by the 45-year-old comedian, a message read, “A Hartfelt goodbye for now as we start a new chapter,” the <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/09/13/business/kevin-harts-la-plant-based-fast-food-restaurants-suddently-closes-all-locations-just-two-years-after-opening/">New York Post</a> reported.
“Thank you,” it added. “To our team, guests, and community, who helped make the change we all craved.”
The Los Angeles dining guide <a href="https://la.eater.com/2024/9/11/24241170/hart-house-kevin-hart-plant-based-vegan-restaurant-closing-los-angeles">Eater</a> confirmed the closures with a statement from Hart House’s CEO Andy Hooper. 
“The response to the product has been incredible, and we thank our committed team, our customers, and our community partners for helping make the change we all craved, and for their unwavering support of Hart House,” Hooper told the outlet.

However, the CEO did not explain why the fast-food joints closed for good with no warning. All four sites were closed on September 10.
In 2020, the “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle” star announced plans to open the plant-based eateries after he made a change to a vegan lifestyle, the Post noted.
Two years later, Hart House opened with Hooper, saying at the time, it wanted “to give people a plant-based option” after noticing a lack of vegan choices in the world of fast food, the <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/lifestyle/lifestyle-news/kevin-hart-vegan-restaurant-hart-house-closes-1236001488/">Hollywood Reporter</a> noted.
Hart added, at the time, “If I can give people a place to have the option that’s placed smack dab in the middle of where your McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, and Burger King [are], people may see a Hart House and say, ‘I’m going to go plant-based today.”
The menu included “100%” plant-based items like burgers, “chicken” sandwiches and nuggets, salads, tater tots, milkshakes and more, THR noted.
In 2023, Hooper told Eater-after opening their 4th location- “Opening on the corner of Sunset and Highland, across the street from Hollywood High School, adjacent to a Chick-fil-A, a couple 100 yards from an In-N-Out, [and inside] a former McDonald’s building is about as emblematic as you can get of our aspiration to be the future of quick-service restaurants.”
The closures follow others by restaurants in Los Angeles. Just last month, the popular burger joint “Shake Shack” announced it would close five Southern California locations by the end of September.
The announcement comes following the enactment of the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/california-triggers-bloodbath-by-raising-minimum-wage-to-20-an-hour">state of California’s approval</a> to raise minimum wage to $20, the Post noted.

Actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ben-affleck">Ben Affleck</a> appeared on the season 4 premiere of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kevin-hart">Kevin Hart’s</a> Peacock Network talk show, “Hart to Heart,” on Thursday and explained why he often has a sour look on his face and talked about his wife <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jennifer-lopez">Jennifer Lopez’s</a> fame.
It’s not known when the episode was taped, but Affleck did <a href="https://pagesix.com/2024/06/21/entertainment/ben-affleck-calls-jennifer-lopez-wife-amid-divorce-rumors/">refer</a> to Lopez as his &#8220;wife&#8221; during the show. Recently, fans have been speculating about the state of Affleck and Lopez’s two-year marriage, especially after it was revealed that their $61 million Beverly Hills mansion was listed for sale. 
The 51-year-old celebrity didn’t mention the current status of his marriage. But Affleck did offer an explanation for why he often <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ben-affleck-is-setting-the-record-straight-about-his-viral-grumpy-grammys-moment">looks grumpy</a>. 
He started by responding to Hart’s question about whether he’s happier in front of the camera or behind it, per <a href="https://people.com/ben-affleck-kevin-hart-interview-jennifer-lopez-bananas-level-of-fame-8667059">People</a>. Affleck said he considers himself a director and added that he’s “a little bit shy.”
“I also don&#8217;t like a lot of attention,” he said during the conversation. “This why people see me [and] they&#8217;re like, ‘Well, this dude always mad…’ Because somebody has their camera and sticking to my face.”
Affleck continued, “I don&#8217;t mind you taking my picture about a club, a premiere, whatever. My wife, I don&#8217;t give a f***. Go ahead. Knock yourself out. I don&#8217;t notice you,” he said. “My children, that&#8217;s a different thing.”
The actor shares three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. He’s also now stepdad to Lopez’s 16-year-old twins.
The Oscar-winning actor recalled one experience demonstrating Lopez’s extreme popularity with her fans. “We went somewhere with [Jennifer]—I can’t remember because she’s so famous, and she creates this—people love her. And she really represents something important to people,” he said.
“[To me,] people are like, ‘Hey, I like your movie,’ and then they’re like ‘AHHHH! J-LO!&#8217;” he added. “It’s amazing, you know what I mean?”

Affleck recalled another story about a time they visited Times Square. “We get out of the car, we were going to a play, and I was like, ‘F*** it, babe, we’re going to be late, we gotta walk a block and a half.’ [Lopez] was like, ‘Alright,’ she didn’t say s***,” he explained.
“We get out with her, all the kids, through Times Square, and the s*** was like f***ing bananas,&#8217;“ Affleck went on. &#8220;I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ There was a lady, she was smoking weed, in a full purple skintight suit—she’s a heavy lady—and she starts running backwards filming, going ‘J-LO!!’ Like a herald. Then gets everyone else, they&#8217;re all tourists, whatever, just moving.” 
“Then I&#8217;m moving. We got, like, our five kids, me and Jen, and it&#8217;s, it&#8217;s like, it feels like hundreds of people and now screaming,” he said. 
“By the way, in that moment, you got to be oblivious to act like it&#8217;s all okay,” Hart interjected.
“Totally. Yeah, that’s why I put my bitch face on,” Affleck replied.

&#8220;No, absolutely not,&#8221; Hart said. &#8220;Let&#8217;s just throw that hope right out the window right now. Whatever level of hope you have, I want to destroy it right now. No, not at all.&#8221;
&#8220;Those gigs aren&#8217;t good gigs for comics,&#8221; he added. &#8220;It’s no shot to the Oscars, the Globes or anything. Those just aren&#8217;t comedy friendly environments anymore.&#8221;

Hart began by saying that he had chosen to share the story because he knew people might see him out and about and he didn&#8217;t want anyone to worry.

Hart then joked that he had to post something before Ridley did, adding, &#8220;Me and Stevan got into a little debate. This debate was based off who&#8217;s faster. Those that know me know, I&#8217;m pretty fast. Stevan said, &#8216;Kevin, ain&#8217;t no way you&#8217;re gonna beat me.&#8217; Stevan is an ex-NFL running back [who] played for the New England Patriots. Very good guy.&#8221;
The debate quickly escalated to a bet — and the results of the 40-yard dash that followed were unpleasant, to say the least. &#8220;Guys, I blew all my s***. Tore my lower abdomen, my abductors are torn — I don&#8217;t even know what that is, but I tore them. I tore those too. I can&#8217;t walk. Sit my a** down.&#8221;
Hart continued to poke fun at himself , adding, &#8220;What are we competing for, at this age? What am I doing? &#8230; Got to be the stupidest man alive.&#8221;

While some outlets reported that it was a real game show, <a href="https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/nick-cannon-whos-having-my-baby-game-show-kevin-hart-1235545865/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to Variety, it&#8217;s actually a skit that&#8217;s part the upcoming series &#8220;Celebrity Prank Wars&#8221; on the E! network. 
“We’re expecting … a new show on E!,” the 42-year-old Cannon shared on his Twitter and Instagram profiles along with a promo clip.

Cannon is a father of 12. This fact has become a running joke in the entertainment industry, with the “Wild ‘n Out” host often making fun of himself for having so many kids with so many different women.

Cannon also had two children with Alyssa Scott, including his newest daughter Halo Marie, born in December 2022. His and Alyssa’s son, Zen, died at five months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

Cannon claims he spends more than $3 million each year supporting his children financially and doesn’t plan to “participate in the governmental system of child.”
He also insists he&#8217;s a very involved father, and a traditional family structure is not necessarily ideal. 
“If I’m not physically in the same city with my kids, I’m talking to them before they go to school via FaceTime and stuff. And then when I am [in the same city, I’m] driving my kids to school, like, making sure I pick ’em up,” Cannon told Men’s Health during an <a href="https://www.menshealth.com/entertainment/a40062470/nick-cannon-interview/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> last June.
“I’ve seen where people believe a traditional household works, and [yet] there’s a lot of toxicity in that setting,” he continued. “It’s not about what society deems is right. It’s like, what makes it right for you? What brings your happiness? What allows you to have joy and how you define family? We all define family in so many different ways.”

Former NFL player Channing Crowder rendered comedian <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/kevin-hart-discusses-cancel-culture-when-did-we-get-to-a-point-where-life-was-supposed-to-be-perfect/">Kevin Hart</a> momentarily speechless when he announced on a recent podcast that he and his wife attend a nudist colony on an annual basis.
The retired Miami Dolphins linebacker mentioned his yearly excursion during an appearance alongside Hart on &#8220;The Pivot&#8221; podcast, and Hart — clearly confused — followed the revelation with a series of stilted questions and double takes.

&#8220;So, me and my wife go to a nudist colony like once a once a year &#8230;&#8221; Crowder began, prompting an immediate &#8220;Sorry?!&#8221; from Hart.
&#8220;We go to nudist colony,&#8221; Crowder repeated.
&#8220;What&#8217;s going on?&#8221; Hart interrupted, shaking his head.
&#8220;We go to a place where, like, you walk in, and everybody just gets naked and runs around,&#8221; Crowder tried again.
&#8220;I heard you say it,&#8221; Hart shot back, appearing to struggle as he tried to come up with a question that made sense. &#8220;I&#8217;m asking — I&#8217;m just asking you what&#8217;s going on.&#8221;
&#8220;Okay, yeah. So we go to the nudist colony and you know, we just kind of go around, you gotta shave everything and show out,&#8221; Crowder explained. &#8220;And especially when you shave your sh**, it looks bigger because you gain inches from no hair.&#8221;
The whole time Crowder was speaking, Hart stared at him, clearly still not wrapping his brain around what was happening.
&#8220;Back up for a second. I just wanna get clarity. Y’all just hanging out or y’all f***ing these people like what–&#8221; Hart tried to make it make sense.
&#8220;No, no, there are swingers there, but you set the precedent when you get there,&#8221; Crowder clarified, seeming to indicate that while some of the attendees were swingers, he and his wife were not.
&#8220;So y’all get down?&#8221; Hart asked, his brow wrinkled in confusion.
&#8220;We don’t get down, but we just like to be around naked people together,&#8221; Crowder replied, prompting a laugh from podcast cohost Fred Taylor.
&#8220;You hear what you’re saying out loud?&#8221; Hart asked, still apparently not satisfied with the explanation thus far.
&#8220;You don’t like to be around naked people?&#8221; Crowder asked.
Hart was clearly not convinced: &#8220;Be honest with you I have no desire to be around a bunch of people I don’t know, just sitting there naked.&#8221;
Hart appeared onstage at Madison Square Garden with fellow comedian Chris Rock on Saturday — as part of their &#8220;Only Headliners Allowed&#8221; tour — and comedian <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/epic-night-just-days-after-one-venue-cancels-dave-chappelle-he-surprises-delighted-audience-in-nyc/">Dave Chappelle</a> delighted fans when he showed up as the surprise opening act.

Comedian Dave Chappelle dropped in on a surprised and apparently delighted New York City audience on Saturday, appearing as the unannounced opening act for fellow comedians Chris Rock and Kevin Hart for their &#8220;Only Headliners Allowed&#8221; tour stop at Madison Square Garden.
<a href="https://dailywire.com/news/how-bad-does-a-n-have-to-be-that-jon-stewart-would-stomp-him-dave-chappelle-jokes-about-man-who-attacked-him-at-hollywood-bowl/">Chappelle</a>, who was <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/theater-caves-cancels-dave-chappelle-hours-before-show-we-know-there-are-some-who-will-not-agree-with-this-decision/">ousted</a> from a Minnesota venue less than a week earlier over jokes critics had slammed as &#8220;transphobic,&#8221; joined the two onstage and was greeted by an explosion of applause from the audience.
&#8220;Had to sneak my way in here,&#8221; Chappelle reportedly told the audience by way of explanation, walking out to Radiohead&#8217;s &#8220;Karma Police.&#8221;
&#8220;Despite what you may have read about in the news, I’m OK, and I appreciate the support,&#8221; he added.
Hart called Chappelle&#8217;s appearance &#8220;the best moment&#8221; of his career, sharing several photos from the event. &#8220;Last night was by far the best moment of my career,&#8221; he tweeted. &#8220;I can&#8217;t even explain it &#8230; I can&#8217;t find the words &#8230; Just know that last night was the true definition of a &#8216;EPIC NIGHT&#8217; &#8230; I love my brothers more than words can explain. Superstars Kevin Hart and Dwayne &#8220;The Rock&#8221; Johnson hilariously took on the latest trend on TikTok called &#8220;The Tortilla Challenge&#8221; in a video posted Wednesday on Instagram that&#8217;s since gone viral.
In a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CgPcsH_MwqG/">clip</a> posted on the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kevin-hart-discusses-cancel-culture-when-did-we-get-to-a-point-where-life-was-supposed-to-be-perfect">43-year-old</a> comedian&#8217;s social media account, Hart introduced what he and &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/great-stuff-here-brother-dwayne-the-rock-johnson-stands-with-joe-rogan">The Rock</a>&#8221; were up to as the two stand there holding green tortillas. The &#8220;Night School&#8221; star discussed how the two had &#8220;seen the kids playing this game&#8221; in which they &#8220;slap each other&#8221; with tortillas while holding a gulp of water in their mouths.
He captioned his post, &#8220;If this s*** don&#8217;t make you laugh then something is physically wrong with you. I have been wanting to do this for years….I got to live out my dream and smack the living s*** out of @therock …&#8221;
&#8220;Oh my god this felt so good!&#8221; he added. &#8220;Insert evil laugh ….. Make sure y&#8217;all watch our movie &#8216;DC Super Pets&#8217; on July 29th in theaters everywhere!&#8221;

Before the two start, Hart has to scold Johnson for the way he was first holding the tortilla, saying he had to hold it loosely because he didn&#8217;t want &#8220;The Rock&#8221; to &#8220;f***ing knock me out.&#8221;
Johnson responded, telling Hart not to use &#8220;your hand,&#8221; warning him not to screw around and &#8220;put his whole hand back there.&#8221;
The two then each take a big gulp of water and hold it. They rock, paper, scissors to see who will go first, and Hart wins. Holding back laughter, he swings and hits Johnson. To say the &#8220;Red Notice&#8221; star looked mad would be putting it mildly.
&#8220;You slapped the ever loving s*** out of me!&#8221; Johnson replied. Holding his cheek he reluctantly agrees to continue.
The pair rock, paper, scissors again, and Hart wins again. Still both holding in water, The Rock takes another hit. This time the comedian is barely hanging on and is clearly dying of laughter. At first he looked ready to burst out laughing, and not long after does so as he spits out the water.
Johnson responds, &#8220;So I win now,&#8221; because Hart spilled his water first.
Johnson&#8217;s &#8220;Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle&#8221; co-star then said he&#8217;s a &#8220;good f***ing partner&#8221; and would let The Rock &#8220;get a smack&#8221; in. The two were both clearly having way too much fun.
&#8220;Well this is us trying to keep up with the younger generation,&#8221; Kevin concludes in the video, with Johnson saying in the background, &#8220;Never again&#8230; My f***ing ear drum is bleeding.&#8221;

Seth Rogen may be a well-known actor, but he understands why the audience has been shrinking in recent years for Hollywood&#8217;s biggest night. The “Knocked Up” alum said he’s not surprised that viewers have stopped tuning to the ceremony in recent years. 
“I don’t get why movie people care so much if other people care what awards we give ourselves,” the 39-year-old actor said during an <a href="https://www.insider.com/seth-rogen-people-dont-care-the-oscars-2022-2">interview</a> with Insider.
“To me, maybe people just don’t care,” Rogen continued. “I don’t care who wins the automobile awards. No other industry expects everyone to care about what awards they shower upon themselves. Maybe people just don’t care. Maybe they did for a while and they stopped caring. And why should they?”
Viewership for the Oscars has been declining for years. According to the <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/02/11/seth-rogen-people-dont-care-about-oscars-outside-hollywood/">New York Post</a>, only 9.85 million people tuned in for the 2021 installment while 23.6 million watched the Oscars in 2020. Viewership was at 29.6 million in 2019.
There could be a few reasons for this, and no doubt some of them are pandemic related. Notable in 2019, the Academy did away with in-person hosts after a controversy caused the slated host, comedian Kevin Hart, to back out of the gig.
Fans brought up “homophobic” jokes Hart made in the past. The comedian voluntarily stepped down as host after apologizing for offending anyone. 
“I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscars,” the comedian said at the time on Twitter. “This is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.”
The Oscars will have hosts in 2022 for the first time since Jimmy Kimmel did the job back in 2018. It’s believed that Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, and Regina Hall will be <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/amy-schumer-regina-hall-and-wanda-sykes-tapped-to-host-2022-oscars">sharing hosting duties</a> for the 2022 installment of the show.
Rogen has never been nominated for an Oscar but has attended and even performed at several ceremonies. The “Knocked Up” actor teamed up with his “Pineapple Express” co-star James Franco for a skit at the Oscars show in 2009.
The Academy Awards haven’t been back to “normal” since the COVID-19 pandemic began, but this year is the closest it’ll be to a time before masks and vaccines were part of every conversation about large gatherings. 
In yet another controversial moment, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/amy-schumer-regina-hall-and-wanda-sykes-tapped-to-host-2022-oscars/">announced their plan</a> not to mandate proof of vaccination (with or without a booster) in order to attend this year’s in person Oscars ceremony. Instead, attendees will need to provide a negative PCR test or a negative rapid antigen test on the day of the event.
However, the Academy does require their employees to be vaccinated with rare medical exemptions. These truths have been met with derision and anger on social media since the announcements were made.

The 2022 Academy Awards will have hosts for the first time in three years. The last person to host the show was Jimmy Kimmel in 2018. Now the Oscars will feature not one, but three celebrity hosts when it airs on March 27.
According to <a href="https://deadline.com/2022/02/oscar-host-wanda-sykes-amy-schumer-regina-hall-1234933232/">Deadline</a>, Amy Schumer, Regina Hall, and Wanda Sykes will all contribute to hosting duties during the show. The show’s producer Will Packer was apparently taking meetings for weeks to find the perfect hosts. “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm was considered at one point, but the show organizers ultimately went in a different direction.
Schumer, said on Instagram Sunday that she had “big fun news comin,” which fans are now speculating has something to do with her hosting gig.
Packer no doubt spent a lot of time making the decision of who should host after the drama that happened before the 2019 installment of the show. That’s when their selected host, comedian Kevin Hart, was ousted from the program due to controversial jokes about hoping his son isn&#8217;t gay and other “homophobic humor.” 
Hart stepped down from <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kevin-hart-regrets-how-he-handled-oscars-controversy-i-was-immature">hosting the Oscars</a> and apologized to the LGBTQ community for his “insensitive words” 48 hours after accepting the gig.
“I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscars,” the comedian said at the time on Twitter. “This is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.”
The Academy has worked hard to avoid controversy ever since and so far, that means not having a host at all. But this year’s Oscars are already causing drama for an entirely different reason.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced their plan not to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/and-the-oscar-for-hypocrisy-goes-to-twitter-reacts-to-the-academy-awards-not-requiring-proof-of-vaccination">mandate proof of vaccination</a> (with or without a booster) in order to attend this year’s in person Oscars ceremony. Instead, attendees will need to provide a negative PCR test or a negative rapid antigen test on the day of the event.
However, the Academy does require their employees to be vaccinated with rare medical exemptions.
This announcement was met with derision from followers on social media, who called it hypocritical to not require vaccines for attendees while enforcing it for employees. “SURPRISE: Elites Think They’re Special And Don’t Need A COVID Vaccine Mandate,” one Twitter user shared.
Other awards shows taking place in person including the SAG Awards and Critics Choice Awards will be requiring proof of vaccination.

After denouncing cancel culture, comedian Kevin Hart blasted critics who call him unfunny.
In a tweet on Monday, the comedian said that his career speaks volumes about his talent while arguing that all the hate and slander he receives just motivates him to become better.

Speaking with the Sunday Times earlier this week, Kevin Hart denounced cancel culture for its lack of mercy and demand that people be forever perfect.
“If people want to pull up stuff, go back to the same tweets of old, go ahead,” he said. “There is nothing I can do. You’re looking at a younger version of myself. A comedian trying to be funny and, at that attempt, failing. Apologies were made. I understand now how it comes off. I look back and cringe. So it’s growth. It’s about growth.”
“When did we get to a point where life was supposed to be perfect? Where people were supposed to operate perfectly all the time? I don’t understand,” he continued. “I don’t expect perfection from my kids. I don’t expect it from my wife, friends, employees. Because, last I checked, the only way you grow up is from f***ing up. I don’t know a kid who hasn’t f***ed up or done some dumb s***.”
“People get locked up so they can be taught a lesson,” he explained. “When they get out, they are supposed to be better. But if they come out and people go, ‘I’m not giving you a job because you were in jail,’ then what the f*** did I go to jail for? That was my punishment? How do you not give those people a shot? They’re saying that all life should be over because of a mistake? Your life should end and there should be no opportunity to change? What are you talking about?”

Kevin Hart Blasts His Critics: ‘The Hate/Slander Fuels Me To Do More’

In an interview with <a href="https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/kevin-hart-i-say-this-humbly-but-im-as-talented-as-f-im-really-good-at-what-i-do-vz0cmxbbd">The Sunday Times</a>, comedian and actor Kevin Hart discussed “cancel culture” after he ended his hosting gig for the 2019 Academy Awards over previous tweets and jokes deemed offensive by the &#8220;woke.&#8221;

Per <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/kevin-hart-cancel-culture-oscars-hosting-scandal">Fox News</a>, &#8220;Hart made sure to note that people who have done something truly damaging to others should be held accountable and face consequences. However, he doesn’t believe that’s always the case when it comes to cancel culture, specifically in his situation.&#8221;
Hart made the suggestion that more people simply not agree with one another instead of saying people should be permanently removed from entertainment, the outlet noted.

&#8220;If there&#8217;s a message to take from anything I&#8217;ve said,&#8221; he ended. &#8220;It&#8217;s that in this world of opinion, it&#8217;s OK to just disagree. It&#8217;s OK to not like what someone did and to say that person wasn&#8217;t for me. We are so caught up in everybody feeling like they have to be right and their way is the only way. Politics is f***ed up because, if you don&#8217;t choose our side, you&#8217;re dumb.”
Hart stepped aside from hosting the 2019 Academy Awards after <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/kevin-hart-steps-down-from-oscar-hosting-gig-after-past-staments">some of his previous jokes and tweets drew criticism</a> and the Academy requested that he apologize, as The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kevin-hart-caves-apologizes-over-oscars-controversy-i-did-f-up">reported</a>.
“I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscars … this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists,” he wrote on Twitter. “I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.” 
He added, “I’m sorry that I hurt people. I am evolving and want to continue to do so. My goal is to bring people together not tear us apart.  Much love &amp; appreciation to the Academy.  I hope we can meet again.”
