<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/reality-tv">Reality TV</a> star <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kat-von-d">Kat Von D</a> had a more in-depth discussion about her recent conversion to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/christianity">Christianity</a>.
The 41-year-old tattoo artist, who became famous on the TLC series “LA Ink,” shocked fans when she began moving away from her dark, macabre aesthetic and publicly renounced <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/occult">occult items</a> in her home. In early October, she published a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kat-von-d-posts-video-of-her-christian-baptism-after-renouncing-occult-items-witchcraft">video on Instagram</a> of herself being baptized into the Christian faith.
Von D (Katherine von Drachenberg) made an appearance on BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey’s podcast, &#8220;Relatable,&#8221; and said she’d been a longtime listener. The reality star said she was using “New Age stuff” as “bandaids” and “crutches,” never finding satisfaction in those items.
&#8220;When the lockdowns happened &#8230; [my husband Rafael Reyes] just said, &#8216;Hey, baby, I think we got it wrong. You know, I think we got a lot of things wrong,'&#8221; she said during the interview.
&#8220;You have to understand at the time &#8230; BLM was going hard,&#8221; Drachenberg told Stuckey. &#8220;I was in the middle of it. Like, I lived three doors down from the mayor of L.A., so we had Antifa, like, on our front yard, you know, after they threatened to do the Molotov cocktails and stuff like that. &#8230; So we were just, like, seeing things in real time, and they were much worse in real life than I think what people even put on TV.&#8221;
She continued, &#8220;I started just kind of, like, re-evaluating, kind of going down the list of what I&#8217;m doing with my life. And it got to the part of my spirituality, and that&#8217;s where I started really rethinking a lot of things.&#8221;

Later, the tattoo artist said she started comparing the lives of friends who did drugs and dabbled in the occult with friends who practiced the Christian faith. That’s when she started noticing a difference.

“My husband and I, we look at a Rolodex of friends that we have, and the ones that are dictating their life through that, and they’re leading their life through that, and they’re making their decisions through tarot or, you know, some of the witchcraft stuff … they’re all so miserable,” Drachenberg said.
&#8220;They&#8217;re the most broke people. Usually, most of them are single; they don&#8217;t have stability — and I&#8217;m talking about both financial and the love around them, right? There&#8217;s always this drama and dread and doom and gloom,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;I was one of them, you know. &#8230; I would look around at my Christian friends, and I&#8217;m like, they&#8217;re not perfect by any means, but I want what you have, you know? Like, I love the light that you have.&#8221;
Drachenberg said she’s been happy with the changes she made. &#8220;I feel like I&#8217;m the best wife and the best mother I can be now because of the changes that I&#8217;ve had. I mean &#8230; it&#8217;s like a deprogramming has taken place. Things that I used to find attractive are disgusting to me, you know? And it&#8217;s like, I wish I could put into words like how amazing those changes are,” she said.

Famed tattoo artist Kat Von D announced that she will be leaving Los Angeles for a small town in Indiana due to tyrannical government overreach.
In a Facebook post last week, the former &#8220;LA Ink&#8221; star said that even though she will not be selling her Los Angeles home, she will be relocating with her son part-time, citing California&#8217;s corruption.
&#8220;Definitely not ever selling our beautiful home in LA, but with all that&#8217;s been taking place in California, with terrible policies, tyrannical government overreach, ridiculous taxing, amongst so much more corruption, we just felt the need to plant roots in a small town where my son can be free to play, and where we can eventually retire one day,&#8221; <a href="https://www.facebook.com/katvond/photos/10164826931745454">she said</a>.
Kat Von D also clarified that she will not be closing her shop in Los Angeles. &#8220;We will eventually be spending more time in beautiful Indiana once I finish doing some remodeling on our new historic house.&#8221;
Reaction from fans of the famed tattoo artists ranged from enthusiastic to condescending.
&#8220;I left the sheltered, depressing area you&#8217;re moving to, so did most everyone I knew. I also lived in Cali. More expensive, but more opportunities in every aspect. A lot of people there never left the state. Tyrannical overreach? That&#8217;s hilarious because you guys never would be successful without &#8216;worldly&#8217; /Cali attitudes,&#8221; said one fan.

Kat Von D&#8217;s exodus from California follows a string of celebrities and high-profile business names that have left the once Golden State due to horrific policies. Billionaire Elon Musk, for instance, recently announced his move to Texas after repeatedly criticizing the COVID-19 lockdown policies.
“Tesla and SpaceX obviously have mass operations in California. In fact, it’s worth noting that Tesla is the last car company still manufacturing cars in California,&#8221; Musk said during a virtual conference hosted by the Wall Street Journal. &#8220;Space X is the last aerospace company still doing significant manufacturing in California. There used to be over a dozen car plants in California, and California used to be the center of aerospace manufacturing. My companies are the last two left.”
“For myself, yes, I have moved to Texas. We’ve got the Starship development here in South Texas where I am right now. We’re hopefully going to do a launch later today. And then we’ve got big factory developments just outside of Austin for Giga Texas,&#8221; he added.
