Pop singer JoJo Siwa is upset by the backlash she received for appearing on a magazine cover sporting a bedazzled fake bulge as part of her outfit.
“The stone bulge is … we were just giving a little spice, a little gender-bend, a little you can be anything you want to be. Spice it up a little,” the 21-year-old explained during a recent appearance on the “Talk Tuah” podcast, per <a href="https://www.huffpost.com/entry/jojo-siwa-backlash-fake-bulge-magazine-cover_n_670be75fe4b04266ae855ddf">HuffPost</a>. 
Siwa compared her outfit choice to that of actor Harry Styles, who wore a dress on the cover of Vogue in 2020.
“It’s kind of like back in the day when Harry Styles wore a dress,” she continued. “Obviously wearing a bulge is a little different than wearing just a dress, but…”
“One thing about me is I like to be for the people that are different, for the people that don’t fit in and for the people who are just unafraid to take risks,” Siwa went on. “I feel like being that person, I have to go as far as I possibly can into the risk zone. I have to explore the risk zone to see what it’s like.”
The cover shoot in question for the September issue of LadyGunn Magazine featured Siwa posing in a squatting position wearing a nude strapless top with nipples and built-in abs covered in rhinestones. She also wore a bedazzled codpiece over a prosthetic bulge and gold combat boots.

Siwa has been making headlines for the past several years after she came out as gay and underwent a dramatic image transformation, moving away from being an idol to pre-teen girls. Now, the former reality star infuses her songs and performances with sexually explicit content and profanity and is in a lesbian relationship.

Pop singer <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jojo-siwa">JoJo Siwa</a> shared her thoughts on her feud with “Full House” alum <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/candace-cameron-bure">Candace Cameron Bure</a> two years after it began.
It all started when Siwa posted on <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/social-media">TikTok</a> that she thought Bure was the “rudest” celebrity she ever met. The post went viral at the time, causing both parties to respond publicly. Bure called Siwa personally to talk it out.
Despite the two seemingly ending the conversation on good terms, Siwa said she wouldn’t consider having Bure as a guest on her podcast.
&#8220;To me, personally, the rudest celebrity I&#8217;d ever met was Candace Cameron. She wasn&#8217;t nice to me when I met her. That doesn&#8217;t mean she&#8217;s an awful rude person,&#8221; Siwa <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/jojo-siwa-revealed-where-she-165554732.html">said</a> during the newest episode of “JoJo Siwa Now.”
&#8220;That just means that she was the rudest that I ever met. Whatever. [I] flashed it quick, thought no one was going to ever see it,&#8221; the former reality star added, insisting she never meant for it to go viral like it did.
Siwa said at the time she posted about Bure, she had “no real beef” with the actress.
&#8220;But then I found out some things about Candace that I was like, wait this, this actually is pretty valid. And I found out some shady things that she has done and some shady organizations that she has worked with,&#8221; Siwa said. 
She continued, &#8220;It goes back to wanting to stand up for my people but not wanting to create drama that doesn&#8217;t necessarily need to be there. But anyway, Candace and I talked about it. She was honestly pretty sweet to me about it. We talked publicly about it as well,&#8221; she said, adding that anyone who exaggerated their feud was &#8220;psycho.&#8221;

Siwa also mentioned how the drama evolved after she criticized Bure for advocating traditional marriage and partnering with conservative-leaning organizations, including the Great American Family television network.
The singer chastised Bure for &#8220;basically calling gay marriage not traditional and gay marriage weird&#8221; and saying that same-sex marriage was something she &#8220;didn&#8217;t want to publicize.&#8221;
&#8220;Whether she meant to do that or not, she still did it, and it still stung the community. Of course, you know, we&#8217;re doing all this work to be more visible and out there for kids in the next generation to feel more normal,&#8221; Siwa said.
The 21-year-old “Dance Moms” alum ultimately called her original social media post &#8220;stupid and messy.&#8221; Siwa said while “there’s no real shade anymore” toward Bure, she still does not consider her a friend.
&#8220;I just wouldn&#8217;t have her on my podcast. You know what I mean&#8230; If I saw her, I would just not say hi,&#8221; the celeb concluded.

The 21-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">singer</a> discussed her plan during a video interview for Cosmopolitan&#8217;s &#8220;If It Were Me&#8221; series.
“Because I&#8217;m gay as s*** and I have to plan a pregnancy much different than a straight person, I actually want to take three eggs, fertilize three eggs, and have three surrogates,&#8221; Siwa said.
&#8220;So technically, they&#8217;ll all be the same batch, but they would all be born separately. I’m gonna have my surrogates, my babies, then maybe their birthdays will land on different days, and they can be like triplets, but like, not.”
Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh posted his reaction to the clip, writing, “‘The same batch,’ she says of her own future children. At this point we need to treat people who use surrogates with the same contempt and disgust we heap on human traffickers. Because they are human traffickers.”

In March, the “Karma” singer talked about having her future children’s names tattooed on her arm. “I actually have two tattoos dedicated to them. This one’s dedicated to my baby girl one day, her name is Freddie,” the YouTube star said, indicating one of her arm tattoos. “Then this is dedicated to twin boys. Eddie and Teddie. Freddie, Eddie and Teddie.”

Siwa has been talking about motherhood for a while. In 2023, the former “Dance Moms” star said that she eventually wants to &#8220;retire and have babies&#8221; after achieving her life goal of performing at the Super Bowl halftime show.

The 21-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment">recording artist</a> was <a href="https://x.com/CL0SEASTRXNGERS/status/1807242749516644563">captured on video</a> stopping her set to curse at the culprits. “Who the living f*** just booed me? Where the f*** did that come from? Which one of you? Which one of you?&#8221; Siwa yelled. She then took a handmade sign from fans in the audience before addressing the people booing again.
&#8220;Respectfully, f*** you!&#8221; she said. 
Shortly after her tirade, Siwa grabbed a bouquet of flowers thrown on the stage and said, “Aww, this is sweet.” She plucked a flower from the bundle, placed it into her shorts, and made a lewd gesture by grabbing her crotch and sticking out her tongue.
&#8220;F*** the booers, somebody just chucked a bra at me!&#8221; the former “Dance Moms” reality star said.
The scene was captured on video and circulated on X. The person posting wrote across the video, “I cannot stop thinking about the 3 little girls in karma face paint and their mom who went up to the barricade right before she went on and what conversations might be going on right now.”
The video caption said, “JoJo Siwa, they could NEVER make me like you.”
For most of her career, Siwa has been a role model for young children. Recently, she has been experimenting with darker, more dramatic looks and music. In April, she turned heads at the 2024 iHeartRadio Video Music Awards for arriving in a revealing mesh outfit and black face paint.
“This is my ‘KARMA,’ black beast look,” Siwa said during a red carpet interview with <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1398587/jojo-siwa-pushes-back-on-criticism-of-her-adult-era-while-debuting-dramatic-all-black-look">E! News</a>, referring to her newly released single. “It’s got some rips in it, but you’d never know.”
When asked how she’s responding to backlash for her new, more provocative look, Siwa said, “People are afraid of things they don’t know. Things can be scary for people. New things can be very, very scary.”
The singer also defended herself by saying “respected” artists, including Lil Nas X and Meghan Trainor, liked her new look.

Saying the name “JoJo Siwa” in 2017 conjured images of a smiling girl with a high blonde ponytail and brightly colored, oversized hair bows. Saying the same name in 2024 brings to mind a slightly more feminine version of KISS frontman Gene Simmons.
It’s true that all kids have to grow up. Siwa, like so many child stars who came before her, was destined to shed her sweet and innocent pre-teen idol image for something edgier as she matured. But Siwa’s transformation is so extreme, and so abrupt, that it demands explanation.
Siwa, who was born in 2003, shot to fame as a young performer on the Lifetime reality series “Dance Moms.” The Omaha, Nebraska, native appeared on two seasons of the show in 2015 and 2016. However, Siwa was not destined for mere reality star fame.

The aspiring singer released two singles, &#8220;Boomerang&#8221; and &#8220;I Can Make U Dance,&#8221; in 2016 and watched the music video views rack up. Siwa was named the Breakout Artist of the Year by Vivid Seats in 2018. This prompted her to announce she was embarking on “D.R.E.A.M. The Tour” in 2019.
Besides just singing, the young celeb became a national sensation thanks to clever branding and marketing. One school in the U.K. tried to ban the massively popular, oversized hair bows sold under Siwa’s brand name because they were so popular that educators deemed them “distracting.”
&#8220;I&#8217;ve always just worn bows&#8221; the singer <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-39140210" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> CBBC&#8217;s Newsround in 2017 of the international trend. &#8220;They just got bigger and better and sparklier &#8211; and then I became &#8216;JoJo with the bow bow&#8217; and it became a thing,&#8221; she added.
Later, Siwa said the bows were &#8220;more than just a hair accessory.” She said they were also “a symbol of power, confidence, believing-ness.&#8221;
The brand is still sold at major retailers such as Claire’s, Justice, Walmart, and Target.

It wasn’t just bows, either. Siwa’s merch started popping up everywhere as young kids emulated her look and sang along to the bubblegum pop lyrics of Siwa’s upbeat song catalog. With titles like, “Every Girl’s a Supergirl,” “Kid in a Candy Store,” “High Top Shoes,” and “Bop!,” it’s easy to see exactly who the YouTube star was marketing to. There were leagues of JoJo Siwa devotees, fan club members, and YouTube subscribers. Most were in the highly impressionable pre-teen demographic.
The change in Siwa was both gradual and all at once. One of the most pivotal moments in her image change happened in January 2021 when she came out as LGBTQ. Siwa alerted fans by posting a photo of herself wearing a shirt that said, “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.” She later clarified that her sexual attraction didn’t align with any strict labels and if anything, she was “pansexual.”
“I always believed that my person was just going to be my person,” she said at the time, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jojo-siwa-comes-out-as-lgbtq-identifies-as-neither-gay-nor-straight" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. “And if that person happened to be a boy, great, and if that person happened to be a girl, great!”
“I think humans are awesome, I think humans are really incredible people. Right now, I’m super duper happy and I want to share everything with the world but I also want to keep things in my life private until they are ready to be public. Right now what matters is that you guys know that no matter who you love, that it’s OK. It’s awesome and the world is there for you,” Siwa continued.

The former child star went public with two romantic relationships with women shortly after.
While many followers were critical of Siwa for becoming a vocal LGBTQ advocate, others championed the move. But the pop singer’s most shocking and controversial transformation was still to come.
On April 2, the YouTube star debuted a drastically different look at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, explaining that she was evolving to cater to an older audience. Siwa dressed in all black with a revealing cut-out mesh bodysuit, combat boots, dramatic black eye makeup, and a faux mohawk.
The singer said it was the same outfit she wore while recording her new music video for the single “Karma.”

The former &#8220;Dance Moms&#8221; star had already showed off her brand overhaul on March 5 by uploading a series of behind-the-scenes photos from dance rehearsals for her upcoming single release, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jojo-siwa-defends-her-black-beast-look-says-respected-stars-like-lil-nas-x-called-it-so-right" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
The captions from the nine posts formed a message that read, “See you in one month. Remember Karma’s a b****.”

News at the iHeartMusic Awards. “It’s got some rips in it, but you’d never know.”
When asked how she’s responding to backlash for her new, more provocative look, Siwa said, “People are afraid of things they don’t know. Things can be scary for people. New things can be very, very scary.”
She added, “The way that I’m able to keep going and keep being like, ‘Wait, actually what I’m doing is right,’ is because some of the most respected people in the world have come up to me and been like, ‘What you’re doing right now is so right. It is what the world needs, and I’m learning from what you are doing right now.&#8217;”
She mentioned rapper Lil Nas X and Meghan Trainor as two individuals who had vocalized their support for her new image. “Support from people like that means the world to me,” Siwa boasted.
The singer made it very clear that her new content was not for a younger audience. She teased the release of her latest single in March with a series of Instagram posts, writing:

The “Karma” music video now has more than <a href="https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=VZIm_2MgdeA&amp;list=PL4fGSI1pDJn5kI81J1fYWK5eZRl1zJ5kM" target="_blank" rel="noopener">24 million views</a> on YouTube.
Gone are the days of songs about high top shoes. “I was a bad girl / I did some bad things,” the single opens. 
The chorus continues with more of the same message. “Karma’s a b****, I should’ve known better / If I had a wish, I would’ve never effed around / When I saw the pics of you and her, I fеlt the knife twist /  Karma’s a b****, and she’s with you right now.”
&#8220;I wanted it to be as bold and as ballsy as possible. There is nothing more ballsy than this song,” the 20-year-old said during a Billboard <a href="https://www.billboard.com/video/jojo-siwa-billboard-news-interview/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> about the song. 
“The genre is — I said it back in the day when I first signed with Columbia. I said, ‘I want to start a new genre of music.’ And they said, ‘What do you mean?’ And I said well, ‘It’s called gay pop.’”

Siwa names fellow former child star Miley Cyrus as her biggest inspiration.
“It’s no secret that my transition is heavily inspired by Miley Cyrus, of course,” she said. Siwa mentioned when Cyrus made headlines for her provocative Video Music Awards performance with Robin Thicke in 2013.
“Like it or not, everyone knows that moment and I think that that made such an impact,” Siwa said. “I think every child star has made their impact in some which way becoming an adult star. But Miley’s flip, Miley’s switch, Miley’s turn was the greatest thing I’ve witnessed with my own two eyes.”
Like it or not, parents of young fans need to realize that Siwa has traded in big hair bows for sexual innuendo. And it doesn’t look like she’s going back.

Former “Dance Moms” star <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jojo-siwa">JoJo Siwa</a> debuted a drastically different look at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday, explaining that she’s evolving to cater to an older audience.
The former <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment">reality star</a> has been a role model for younger children for most of her career, marketing her YouTube channel, merchandise, and overall brand to pre-teens and younger girls. The 20-year-old was known for wearing oversized hair bows, brightly colored outfits, and singing bubblegum pop songs. 
Siwa stepped out at the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/music">iHeartRadio Awards</a> dressed in all black with a revealing cut-out mesh bodysuit, combat boots, dramatic black eye makeup, and a faux mohawk. The singer said she wore the same outfit while recording her new music video for the single “Karma.”

&#8220;Fully, fully,&#8221; Siwa responded when asked by an interviewer from <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQlQ24hSWPQ">Access Hollywood</a> if she’s already picked out names for her children.
&#8220;I actually have two tattoos dedicated to them. This one&#8217;s dedicated to my baby girl one day, her name is Freddie,&#8221; the YouTube star said, indicating one of her arm tattoos. &#8220;Then this is dedicated to twin boys. Eddie and Teddie. Freddie, Eddie and Teddie. I want three babies. I&#8217;ve got a sperm donor lined up,” she added.
Siwa had posted photos of some new ink in an Instagram photo carousel on Wednesday. &#8220;48HRs in Florida.. There’s 4 photos in this slide that I can’t wait for you to understand what’s happening in them. Give me a few and you’ll know I promise. Any guesses?&#8221; she wrote in the caption.

The singer has been publicly single for a while after vowing in 2023 that she was putting a pause on dating. Siwa came out as gay in 2021.

There are, obviously, lesbians who grow up to marry women. The women I know who have chosen this route are often women who have been abused by men in some way, be it emotional or physical. They almost experience a repulsion of men for the rest of their lives. Ellen DeGeneres has talked about the sexual abuse she experienced as a child, and she has been married to a woman for many years now.
But Siwa’s story? I have seen this story and so have you: Young girls become famous and want to break away from the child-like persona that made them famous — and they go through “a phase.” Call it a coming-of-age phase, per se. These girls are the Cyndi-Lauper-type girls who “just want to have fun.” They make out with other girls at a high school or college party, but they are not really lesbians. They grow up and out of that phase. They go on to marry a man and have children.

Take, for instance, Demi Lovato, who announced she was a lesbian, then non-binary, then back to being a woman. She is now an engaged woman. Miley Cyrus was also a temporary lesbian. She said she came out to her mom when she was younger, then she came out as a lesbian after her marriage failed with Liam. Now, she is dating a man again, a drummer who came with her to the Grammys.

 And, of course, who could forget Lindsey Lohan? She was dating Samantha Ronson for a while, another child actress who became a lesbian. But, Lohan grew up, got married, and just had a child.

So why does any of this matter? It matters because it impacts our children and because it’s relevant to the next generation. This type of behavior becomes dangerous. These women are famous and because their phase is platformed, it is treated as something more than just a phase.
JoJo Siwa has recently discussed on her podcast what coming out to her mother was like. She says she was 12-years-old. That’s right: 12-years-old. Do we assign meaning to anything that a 12-year-old says? Girls’ emotions are all over the place around that age when they are going through puberty; that is why people often say girls are much more difficult than boys when they are teenagers. Factually, a 12-year-old’s brain simply is not developed. In fact, it’s not developed until age 25.
Then, in regards to the conversation between Siwa and her mom, Siwa says, “My mom actually made my coming out to her super easy.” And when “everyone kinda caught a vibe” between her and a girl who ended up becoming her first girlfriend, her mom asked her, “Do you like her as a friend or as more than a friend?” All the while, Siwa has lots of children’s eyes watching her every move, hanging on her every word. They’re the kids who fell in love with her on YouTube, so they’re still listening to her while she makes her lesbian journey sound fun and easy.
Yet many lesbians’ journeys have been far from fun and easy. The highest domestic violence statistics exist amongst the lesbian community, with 43.8% of lesbian women and 61.1% of bisexual women having experienced rape, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner. Those are facts, and they are facts that JoJo Siwa is not considering while she goes through what I perceive to plausibly be a phase in her life.

Plus, biologically speaking, lesbians cannot naturally have children. But on her podcast, she says she is looking for someone who is ready to have kids because she is “very near ready.” Siwa says, “That is something that I care very, very much about.” Now, I love that she is talking about wanting to have children and making that aspirational because that is actually not common in Hollywood whatsoever. However, she is clearly not considering the implications of being a lesbian and having children. To have children, she would have to go through IVF, a tremendously expensive, emotional, and painful process. The reality of IVF is not flippant; it is severe. Further, it is not guaranteed.
JoJo Siwa may just be wanting to separate herself from the big bow phase, but the lesbian phase may be one she looks back on with regret. Perhaps she will look to some of the women who have lived lives similar to hers to learn from where they are now because her current decisions are in the public consciousness. She is influencing the children who are following her by glamorizing these decisions, even if unintentionally so.

Former child star <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jojo-siwa" target="_blank" rel="noopener">JoJo Siwa</a> documented the aftermath of an alleged armed <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/robbery" target="_blank" rel="noopener">robbery</a> in her California home on social media.
The 19-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment" target="_blank" rel="noopener">singer</a> went into detail about the incident with her 11.3 million Instagram followers, even sharing footage from her security cameras. 
“We were robbed last night at 2:40(ish)AM… It was an armed robbery which is very scary,” Siwa told fans. “It was a REALLLLLY long night on the phone with my security, family, and LAPD.”
Police responded to a call from an alarm company about a break-in at Siwa’s home, but the suspects had already left before officers arrived, per <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/05/16/jojo-siwa-house-break-in-cops-burglars-mansion/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TMZ</a>. The social media star was apparently on a cruise when the break-in occurred.

Dancer and LGBTQ activist JoJo Siwa told Daily Wire host Candace Owens to &#8220;respectfully back the f*** off&#8221; after Owens questioned Siwa&#8217;s claim that she is a lesbian while highlighting the teen&#8217;s bizarre behavior.
Owens argued Siwa might not be gay, but is instead clinging to the label for attention. The &#8220;Blackout&#8221; author underscored her argument by showing images of Siwa bizarrely pretending to be pregnant online. The 33-year-old said Siwa&#8217;s actions are a &#8220;cry for help,&#8221; and needs prayer and spiritual guidance to fill an emptiness inside her.

Owens responded to Siwa online, writing, &#8220;You attack Christians for having traditional values while you simultaneously do the absolutely most to show that you’re a proud lesbian. It’s obnoxious—as was your pretending to be pregnant. I’m not buying your act. Respectfully.&#8221;

The video Siwa reacted to was posted to a Twitter account for Owens&#8217; podcast and captioned, &#8220;Is Jojo Siwa lying about being lesbian for attention?&#8221;
&#8220;I don&#8217;t believe JoJo Siwa is a lesbian, by the way. I do want to state that very clearly,&#8221; Owens said in the video. &#8220;I do believe she&#8217;s desperate for attention.&#8221;
Owens then watched a video clip of Siwa from last year claiming she knew she was gay after three incidents; one of them being a date with a man who Siwa says wanted to have sex with her. Siwa, 18 at the time of her video, said she was &#8220;grossed out by the thought of it&#8221; and knew &#8220;women were my gig.&#8221;
Owens found the video totally unconvincing and argued that going on a bad date with a man doesn&#8217;t mean you don&#8217;t like men. &#8220;Maybe I&#8217;m a lesbian, I&#8217;ve been on some bad dates,&#8221; she quipped.
The conservative then highlighted that Siwa recently <a href="https://www.papermag.com/jojo-siwa-pregnancy-prank-backlash-2659697717.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">received backlash</a> for apparently faking a pregnancy online.

&#8220;I know her brand is happy and sparkly &#8230; she wears scrunchies and bows; children like to watch her because she&#8217;s ecstatic all the time,&#8221; Owens said of Siwa. &#8220;People who you see that put on an appearance of happiness all the time are usually people who are suffering the most, internally. And there&#8217;s no question to me that what we have observed from her over the last few years has been one giant cry for help.&#8221;
&#8220;She did this for attention,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;I don&#8217;t believe she&#8217;s a lesbian no more than I believe Demi Lovato is a lesbian.&#8221;
Owens said Lovato is another person who &#8220;went on a long cry for help.&#8221; The former Disney star in 2021 claimed she was &#8220;non-binary&#8221; and used &#8220;they/them&#8221; pronouns. Last year, she changed her mind again and now uses standard female pronouns.
&#8220;These people are suffering on the inside, they&#8217;re completely empty on the inside,&#8221; Owens asserted. &#8220;What they really need is spiritual growth and development and God.&#8221;
Siwa needs to &#8220;put down the camera and go one a soul-search,&#8221; Owens added. &#8220;I can see a person when they&#8217;re suffering, and that&#8217;s exactly what JoJo is. So, prayers for JoJo Siwa.&#8221;

In a TikTok video, Spencer responded to a fan asking about the “rudest celebrity” he&#8217;s ever met.
“Oh, that’s easy,” Pratt said. “Phoebe from ‘Friends.&#8217; Hands down, one of the worst humans I’ve ever come in contact with — by far.”
“The Hills” star did not go into detail to back up his slam, but he did receive some support in the comment section.
“That’s crazy,” Frankel wrote. &#8220;She was on my talk show and I had a crazy experience also.&#8221; Pratt reacted with a 100% emoji.
The 39-year-old added that he&#8217;d tell “the story behind this&#8221; if the video reaches 1 million views.

Kudrow made headlines last month when she told the Daily Beast that “Friends&#8221;  had “no business” adding storylines about “being a person of color.”
The show was “created by two people who went to Brandeis and wrote about their lives after college,” the actress said, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/friends-star-lisa-kudrow-says-the-show-had-no-business-adding-storylines-about-being-a-person-of-color">The Daily Wire</a> highlighted.
“And for shows especially, when it’s going to be a comedy that’s character-driven, you write what you know,” she continued. “They have no business writing stories about the experiences of being a person of color.”
“I think at that time, the big problem that I was seeing was, ‘Where’s the apprenticeship?’” Kudrow added.
The video Pratt slams Kudrow in is reminiscent of a viral post from “Dance Moms” alum and singer <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jojo-siwa-tells-fans-you-can-be-in-love-with-whoever-you-want">JoJo Siwa</a>, who named actress <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/candace-cameron-bure">Candace Cameron Bure</a> as the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jojo-siwa-trashes-candace-cameron-bure-as-rudest-celebrity-shes-met">“rudest” celebrity she’s met</a>.
“Honestly, I was shocked when I saw the TikTok on Sunday, and I had no idea where it came from,” Bure said in a video to her followers, reacting to the post. “I immediately tried to reach out to her through a mutual friend … because I didn’t know what happened — I didn’t know.”
The “Fuller House” star said she was finally able to get in touch with Siwa, and the pair were able to clear the air.
“I called her,” Bure said. “We had a great conversation.” On the call, Bure asked the pop singer what she did to offend her.
“I didn’t think this was gonna go viral … It was just a silly TikTok trend,” Siwa told Bure, the actress recalled. “I didn’t think it was a big deal.”
“Well, it was a big deal, but what did I do to you? What did I do?” Bure said she asked Siwa.
The “Dance Moms” alum told Bure the whole thing was “silly,” and she “felt bad” that it blew up, and then finally disclosed what she was upset about.
“I met you at the ‘Fuller House’ premiere when I was 11 years old,” Siwa said, according to Bure. When the singer asked the actress for a photo on the red carpet, Siwa said Bure told her, “not right now,” and then went back to the madness of the red carpet.
Bure apologized to the teenager and told her fans to forgive her if she&#8217;s not perfect during their interactions.

Koma slammed Bure over a post she made back on the <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@candacecameronb/video/7116668311642852650">4th of July</a> in which a Bruce Springsteen song played in the background, which Koma said was about Vietnam vets being &#8220;treated like s***,&#8221; <a href="https://pagesix.com/2022/08/02/candace-cameron-bure-calls-god-defender-after-matthew-koma-diss/?utm_source=P6Twitter&amp;utm_medium=SocialFlow&amp;utm_campaign=SocialFlow">Page Six</a> reported in a piece published Tuesday.

In response, the &#8220;Fuller House&#8221; <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/i-called-her-candace-cameron-bures-all-class-response-after-jojo-siwa-trashes-her-as-rudest-celebrity">star</a> posted a video online showing her reading the following verse from Isaiah 12:2.

She captioned the post, &#8220;Scripture memory day.&#8221;
In the actress&#8217; original post that Koma played alongside his TikTok, we see Bure decked out in patriotic attire as Springsteen&#8217;s &#8220;Born in the U.S.A.&#8221; plays in the background. In the clip, she said, &#8220;I mean, c&#8217;mon, would you expect anything less from me? Happy Fourth of July!&#8221;
The 72-year-old singer has spoken about the song in the past and said it&#8217;s &#8220;about the pain, glory, shame of identity and of place,&#8221; on the &#8220;Renegades: Born in the U.S.A.,&#8221; <a href="https://open.spotify.com/episode/5OH7vuMNS4TEKixTkydCQR?si=64T-bLPaQ1O_CQ3JEvsIhw">podcast</a> hosted by Barack Obama. The lyrics are about a fictional Vietnam veteran who has returned from war.
&#8220;So it&#8217;s a complex picture of the country,&#8221; he added. &#8220;Our protagonist is someone who has been betrayed by his nation and yet still feels deeply connected to the country that he grew up in.&#8221;
The Koma post comes after several attacks against Bure on social media by dancer/YouTuber JoJo Siwa, who first labeled Bure the &#8220;rudest celebrity&#8221; she ever met because of something she said happened when she was 11.
Siwa followed that up by sharing that Bure had reached out to her by phone to apologize.
