NBC News White House correspondent Peter Alexander announced on Saturday that he was leaving the network after 22 years, explaining that the long workweeks were keeping him away from his family. But that might not be the whole story.
A <a href="https://pagesix.com/2026/03/28/entertainment/peter-alexander-is-leaving-nbc-after-years-of-being-passed-over-for-top-anchor-jobs-source/?utm_campaign=pagesix&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=social">report</a> from Page Six suggested that Alexander, who was often double-booked as NBC&#8217;s White House correspondent and co-anchor of &#8220;Saturday Today,&#8221; was also feeling the strain after being repeatedly passed over for several of the hottest anchor gigs in the legacy network&#8217;s lineup.
Alexander made the announcement during Saturday morning&#8217;s &#8220;Today&#8221; broadcast, explaining that he was ready for the next challenge and describing the rigorous schedule that often had him in Washington, D.C., during the week and in New York City every weekend.
&#8220;I’ve been away from home more than 80 nights in the last seven months. More than 200 Friday nights away from my family in the last seven years,&#8221; Alexander explained during Saturday morning&#8217;s broadcast. &#8220;So, in this limited window before my daughters lose interest in hanging out with me … I’m eager to carve out a better balance between my personal and professional lives.&#8221;
Alexander&#8217;s final appearance on NBC News was Saturday.
But sources told Page Six that Alexander was also likely looking at the network lineup and realizing that his chances for moving up had all but evaporated.
His former partner on the White House beat, Kristen Welker, had made the transition to hosting the network&#8217;s flagship Sunday show, &#8220;Meet the Press.&#8221; His former co-anchor on &#8220;Saturday Today,&#8221; Craig Melvin, was moved to weekdays and has cemented himself as the top male voice on &#8220;The Today Show.&#8221; With Tom Llamas holding down the fort at &#8220;NBC Nightly News,&#8221; the opportunities for internal advancement have steadily dried up.
&#8220;He’d be the first to say he’s had ambitions for the top anchor jobs, and with all of those spots recently filled, he’s going to try something new,&#8221; one source told Page Six.
In a memo to staff, NBC News Washington Bureau Chief Chloe Arensberg, and Matt Carluccio, executive producer of weekend broadcasts of &#8220;Today,&#8221; hailed Alexander as &#8220;a trusted presence with great range across NBC News, and a friend to so many across the Washington Bureau, ‘Today’ and the broader NBC News team.&#8221;
It&#8217;s unclear where Alexander will go next. Variety <a href="https://variety.com/2026/tv/news/peter-alexander-exit-nbc-news-1236701929/">reported</a> that Alexander has not revealed any potential future plans, but the Los Angeles Times <a href="https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/business/story/2026-03-28/peter-alexander-is-leaving-nbc-news-to-join-ms-now-as-anchor">reports</a> that Alexander is leaving to join MS NOW, the recently rebranded MSNBC, where he &#8220;will serve as an anchor and chief national reporter,&#8221; host &#8220;a weekday program&#8221; and &#8220;handle breaking news coverage throughout the day.&#8221;
Neither Alexander nor MS NOW have officially announced the move, but MS NOW host Joe Scarborough — who just signed a four-year contract alongside &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; co-host and wife Mika Brzezinski — <a href="https://x.com/ScarboroughNow/status/2037895480273686886">congratulated</a> Alexander for the move on X, perhaps signaling that the transition is a done deal.

&#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; host Joe Scarborough laid into Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) on Monday, criticizing her defense of a video in which she and several others in her party had actively encouraged service members to refuse &#8220;unlawful&#8221; orders from President Donald Trump.
Scarborough&#8217;s issue was not the fact that Slotkin, a former CIA analyst — and several others who had served in the military — had made the video insinuating that Trump either had already or would soon issue unlawful orders and telling military service members that they had a responsibility to refuse them. He did not take issue with the fact that she was defending the video, but rather, he was upset that she&#8217;d been unable to answer a specific question about it to his satisfaction during a recent interview.

Scarborough was responding to Slotkin&#8217;s answer to host Martha Raddatz — on ABC&#8217;s &#8220;This Week&#8221; —  when she admitted that she didn&#8217;t actually know of any illegal orders that President Trump had given.
&#8220;I’m sorry, with all due respect, wrong answer. President of the United States, the commander-in-chief does have wide latitude, just does. And the Senate can take that up. But he has wide latitude on strikes. Ask Barack Obama on drone strikes. Ask George W. Bush on drone strikes,&#8221; Scarborough said, referencing the Trump administration&#8217;s actions against narco-terrorists.

&#8220;But where we know the president has said, I am going to give illegal orders to people in the military, is when he was on Air Force One coming back, I forget where he was coming back from, but he said, ‘I can send the Marines. I can send the Army. I can send the Air Force. I can send the Coast Guard into any city I want to control crime. And the courts can’t do anything about it.’ That’s illegal. Scarborough read a text sent to him by the friend — whose name he did not reveal — less than 24 hours after <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-promises-to-clean-up-d-c-and-democrats-are-mad">Trump announced</a> that he was invoking Section 740 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act and declaring a public emergency — a move that allowed him to bring the D.C. Democrats writ large have voiced their opposition to Trump&#8217;s move, claiming that violent crime in the District is at a 30-year low — but as many have pointed out, the data may have been manipulated to downplay the crime rates.

MSNBC staffers and stars are reportedly “in a panic” after the media giant Comcast confirmed reports that it was looking to spin off its cable news outlets.
Stars of the left-leaning network like Katy Tur, Rachel Maddow, and Chris Jansing reportedly joined a tense meeting led by NBCUniversal chairman Mark Lazarus to discuss what news of the spinoff meant, with staff curious about if MSNBC would have to change its name, logo, and headquarters, the <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/11/20/media/msnbc-staffers-in-a-panic-as-nbc-parent-comcast-plans-to-spin-off-channel-and-possibly-change-its-name/?utm_campaign=nypost&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter">New York Post</a> reported.
Those with knowledge about the meeting said Lazarus didn’t offer much information about what it meant for them or whether there would be any changes, the outlet noted.
“Everyone is in a panic because everything is up in the air,” one MSNBC source told the outlet.

“People don’t really know what’s going on,” another source said. “They had the election, holidays are coming up. People are tired and just trying to get through.”
It comes following a <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/20/business/comcast-msnbc-cnbc-spinoff.html?smtyp=cur&amp;smid=tw-nytimes">report</a> Wednesday by The New York Times that Comcast would spin off its cable news outlets MSNBC and CNBC along with channels like Oxygen, E!, Syfy, and the Golf Channel, for the new company.
The changes will reportedly not affect the broadcast newsgroup NBC News, NBC Sports, Telemundo, or streaming service Peacock and Bravo, which will still be under the umbrella of NBC Universal, the outlet noted.

Those in the meeting said Lazarus likened the new company to a “well-funded start-up” which was reportedly good news to MSNBC stars.
An insider said Maddow told the NBC chairman, “It’s great to have you here on day one.”
And Tur reportedly said she “liked the sound of a ‘well-funded start-up.&#8217;”
While MSNBC president Rashida Jones told staff that “change is always complicated.”
“I don’t think anyone knows anything,” a source with knowledge told the outlet. “I think they have a year to figure this out.”
The news comes amid reports that ratings for cable news outlets like MSNBC and CNN have plummeted following the results of the 2024 election and President-elect Donald Trump’s victory, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/msnbc-and-cnn-ratings-plummet-following-trumps-landslide-victory">reported</a>.

&#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; host Mika Brzezinski made another stop on the apology tour as she and her husband and cohost Joe Scarborough attempt to do damage control and appease their left-leaning audience after they dared to take a meeting with President-elect Donald Trump.
Brzezinski and Scarborough announced during Monday morning&#8217;s broadcast that they had met with the president-elect at Mar-a-Lago in an effort to reopen the lines of communication after not speaking for a number of years. The move prompted critics on the left to say that they shouldn&#8217;t have offered Trump that kind of legitimacy — and critics on the right to wonder why, after they had compared him to Adolf Hitler, Trump would give them the time of day.
In the days since the pair have offered several explanations for their decision to meet with Trump — and they have repeatedly assured their audience that they still don&#8217;t agree with him on many things — and Wednesday was no exception.
&#8220;People are really scared,&#8221; Brzezinski told The Daily Beast editor-in-chief Joanna Coles and her <a href="https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/mika-defends-mar-a-lago-visit-musk-trump-road-trip/id1767675909?i=1000677726300" target="_blank" rel="noopener">podcast</a> cohost Samantha Bee.
&#8220;I’ve been surprised at the backlash,&#8221; she said of their meeting. &#8220;And the way I look at it is, people are really scared. And it’s one of the reasons we went in there is people are really scared about Donald Trump’s comments that, you know, political adversaries, a lot of people are scared because of what has happened with abortion. These are all issues that are important to me and in some ways personal to me, but definitely personal to the people I really care about.&#8221;

Brzezinski went on to say that she believed it was part of her job to talk to people who might disagree or even attack her personally and that she felt she had made a mistake in not speaking with Trump over the last several years.
&#8220;Well, I mean, it’s my job to interview and talk to people I disagree with, feel threatened by or who have hurt my feelings in some way. So here’s how I do it. I do my job. I mean, do I really not go in there because he tweeted about me bleeding badly from the facelift at Mar-a-Lago, I don’t know, eight, nine years ago?&#8221; she asked. &#8220;I mean, we haven’t talked in seven years. And I will say that’s a problem, too. So I’m worried about myself and how I conduct myself in this media universe that we’re in, taking stock of everything that has happened. I don’t regret anything I’ve said during the campaign, and I stand by it. But I’m also looking at how to do things differently. And I would never turn down an opportunity to gain insider information. Leftist activist and TV personality <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/rosie-odonnell">Rosie O’Donnell</a> expressed her fury over <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/msnbc">MSNBC</a> hosts recently traveling to Florida to meet with President-elect <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump">Donald Trump</a>.
The comedian <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@rosie/video/7438776026525732138?lang=en">vented</a> about the meeting on TikTok. “Turn off the TV, because it’s like, impending doom, impending doom,” O’Donnell says in the clip. “But without a warning, they’re just like, ‘Well, Trump nominated so and so.’ Not like, ‘Holy s***, people. You’re not gonna believe this. We gotta do something.’ That’s what the newscaster should be saying. But they’re not. Hopeless.”
She continued, “So Mika [Brzezinski] and Joe [Scarborough] went down to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring. So, last time I ever watch ‘Morning Joe,’ period. End of statement. Unreal, unreal. O’Donnell was referencing the meeting Brzezinski and Scarborough had with Trump on Friday, which has generated a lot of criticism from Democrats. &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; co-hosts Scarborough and Brzezinski, who are married, said they talked to Trump about several controversial issues, from immigration to abortion, and did not agree on much but stressed that having open communication was the main goal.
&#8220;For those asking why we would go speak to the president-elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back – why wouldn’t we?&#8221; Brzezinski said. &#8220;Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country. We have been as clear as we know how in expressing our deep concerns about President Trump’s actions and words in the coarsening of public debate.&#8221;

Host Katie Phang <a href="https://x.com/KatiePhang/status/1858520409710182606">posted</a> on X, &#8220;Normalizing Trump is a bad idea. Period.&#8221;
Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central&#8217;s &#8216;The Daily Show,&#8217; answered Brzezinski&#8217;s rhetorical question about why wouldn’t they meet with Trump. “Uh…Because you said he was Hitler.”
Even conservatives are questioning the motives of the meeting. Nikki Haley, who lost the GOP presidential nomination to Trump, weighed in, <a href="https://x.com/NikkiHaley/status/1858573360256393618">posting</a> on X Monday, “Let’s be clear, Joe and Mika didn’t suddenly see the light, they saw their ratings. They realized they needed Trump for their survival.”

Well, folks, it&#8217;s time for Joe and Mika version 3.0.
On Monday, there was a big announcement on Morning Joe that had a lot of heads spinning. Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, who are now a married couple (although, when they first started the show, they were married to other people), decided that it was time for a little <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-reveals-what-was-discussed-in-meeting-with-scarborough-brzezinski">kiss and make up</a> with Donald Trump.
Let’s take a bit of a trip down memory lane with Joe and Mika to understand just how astonishing and dishonest this is.
In 2015 and 2016, Joe and Mika were largely responsible for Trump receiving the Republican nomination. They had him on the air all the time. They sat with him as primary results came in. They were so close that Joe Scarborough was actually asked by radio host Hugh Hewitt if he would be Donald Trump&#8217;s vice presidential  nominee.
Then, after Trump got the nomination and he didn&#8217;t keep making time for Joe and Mika, they decided they were going to favor Hillary Clinton instead, for political reasons. They became quite vicious about President Trump, and they remained vicious for years.

I mean, you talk to people who served with him … they will tell you now the guy was completely ignorant on policy. It was frightening. It was scary. It was depressing.
It&#8217;s going to be <a href="https://archive.org/details/MSNBCW_20240913_100000_Morning_Joe">very hard</a> for the former president to convince anybody except for diehard MAGA — the types of people who will follow him anywhere — it’s going to be very hard for him to convince most Americans that he had a modicum of sense.
This is what voters know <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2024/10/24/mika_brzezinski_trumps_obsession_with_hitler_is_huge_news_he_is_killing_women.html">right now</a>: that he is killing us and talking about us women. He is killing us. He is putting us at risk. He is making us afraid to have babies. He is putting our reproductive health at risk. And some women have died already because of this.</blockquote>
They just went on and on and on.
Eight years of “Donald Trump Is Orange Hitler.” Eight years of it. They spent eight long years talking about how he was the threat to the republic. But they were standing in the breach.
Now, after Trump won, it turns out that they want to be friends again.
So Morning Joe&#8217;s team <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/video/6364855233112" target="_blank" rel="noopener">apparently went to Mar-a-Lago</a>. And on Monday, they opened their show by recounting their visit to make kissy-face, nice-nice with President-elect Donald Trump.

Joe: Now, we talked about a lot of issues, including abortion, mass deportation, threats of political retribution against political opponents, and media outlets. We talked about that a good bit. And it’s going to come as no surprise to anybody who watches this show, has watched it over the past year or over the past decade, that we didn&#8217;t see eye to eye on a lot of issues and we told him so.
Mika: What we did agree on was to restart communications. My father often spoke with world leaders with whom he and the United States profoundly disagreed. That&#8217;s a task shared by reporters and commentators alike.</blockquote>
They are walking this thing back. And then, of course, they have to maintain that they are just doing this for the sake of their <a href="https://x.com/simonateba/status/1858512927889699060" target="_blank" rel="noopener">journalistic objectivity</a>.
<blockquote>Joe: Well, of course, you look at the results of the election too, a new approach I think is needed, where, again, we speak truth to power. You didn&#8217;t push back hard with Joe Biden. And you just called Donald Trump “Hitler” for eight years.
So what does this say about the legacy media?
This: They are unbelievable garbage liars. They are such liars. How do you go on bended knee to Hitler?

It showed that he was lying that entire time, that it had all been an act of demonization, of demagoguery.
It&#8217;s the same thing when it comes to Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and so much of the legacy media.
The only entity whose credibility was destroyed in this entire process were the people of the legacy media.

President-elect Donald Trump confirmed on Monday that MSNBC &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski met with him privately at his Mar-a-Lago estate in southern Florida, calling the discussion &#8220;extremely cordial.&#8221;
Trump told <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-says-media-vital-making-america-great-again-vows-work-free-fair-open-press" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fox News</a> that he met with the MSNBC hosts on Friday morning after Scarborough and Brzezinski had requested to talk with him. The &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; anchors told viewers on their show Monday morning the meeting was their first face-to-face discussion with Trump in seven years, saying that they agreed with Trump &#8220;to restart communications.&#8221;
Trump said the leftist hosts &#8220;congratulated me on running a ‘great and flawless campaign, one for the history books,’ which I really believe it was, but it was also a campaign where I worked long and hard — perhaps longer and harder than any presidential candidate in history.&#8221;
&#8220;We talked about various Cabinet members — both announced and to be announced. As expected, they like some very much, but not all,&#8221; Trump added. &#8220;The meeting ended in a very positive manner, and we agreed to speak in the future.&#8221;
Brzezinski said that Trump appeared &#8220;cheerful,&#8221; &#8220;upbeat,&#8221; and &#8220;interested in finding common ground with Democrats on some of the most divisive issues.&#8221; She added that she and her co-host, who is also her husband, continue to hold &#8220;deep concerns&#8221; about a second Trump administration but acknowledged that nearly 80 million Americans made their voices heard about the issues that matter most to them and sent Trump back to the White House.

Brzezinski began by attacking Trump&#8217;s cabinet picks thus far, saying that she agreed with many concerned people she&#8217;d spoken to and &#8220;they are scary.&#8221; Still, she said they had visited Mar-a-Lago to speak with Trump when they got the chance.
Scarborough noted that they had discussed a number of issues with Trump, from abortion to deportations and threats of political retribution — and that, unsurprisingly, they had not agreed on many things.
Brzezinski also revealed that Scarborough had made a personal call to Trump the morning after the first attempt on his life at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

'Morning Joe' Hosts Blistered Over Attempt To 'Restart Communications' With Trump

Imagine being a strategist for the Democrat Party right now. You&#8217;re tasked with conducting a post-mortem analysis of an election in which virtually every single demographic group in the country, in all 50 states, turned very sharply against you. Tens of millions of Americans ignored the endorsements of modern-day oracles like Taylor Swift and Queen Latifah and voted for the candidate you&#8217;ve been calling a Hitler-loving &#8220;threat to democracy.&#8221; How do you even begin to catalog all of the various failures that led your party to this point? 
Up until now, the prevailing excuse in the Democrat Party has been pretty clear. As I&#8217;ve <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/why-millions-of-minority-voters-are-ditching-the-democratic-party" target="_blank" rel="noopener">outlined</a> before, many Democrats are happy to dismiss the entire country as racist and sexist. In fact, Hispanics are apparently racist against themselves. This is the kind of theory you come up with when you don&#8217;t want to actually talk to Hispanic people, or be anywhere near them for that matter. But you have to find some way to explain why they might want to build a wall and enforce the law, so you conclude that they must hate themselves. That must be it.
At the same time, there is at least one Democrat-aligned group that’s taking a different and more serious approach. I&#8217;m talking about something called Blueprint, which I hadn&#8217;t heard of until a day ago. Blueprint <a href="https://blueprint2024.com/about/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">describes</a> itself as a &#8220;vital tool&#8221; that can help Democrats win elections in the future. This is a Left-wing group that basically tries to craft messaging for the DNC.
Over the past week, Blueprint has employed pollsters and strategists to figure out how Democrats lost so badly on Election Day. They&#8217;ve been tasked with sifting through the wreckage to identify what caused the implosion. And what they&#8217;ve found is remarkable. Even given all the endless polls and analysis we&#8217;ve been subjected to this month, this one stands out.
I hadn&#8217;t seen these results until Charlie Kirk <a href="https://x.com/charliekirk11/status/1855081000386412677" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pointed</a> them out the other day, in a post on X. He posted this chart of Blueprint&#8217;s findings. It shows all the issues that voters cared about in this election, ranked by their level of relative importance. They calculated this by asking voters to compare a bunch of issues, in a kind of round-robin analysis.

As you can see, there are a lot of issues on that list. Voters had many options to choose from. And according to Blueprint&#8217;s findings, swing voters who ultimately voted for Trump — meaning, the people who determined the outcome of this election — were very unhappy with Kamala Harris&#8217; focus on transgender issues. In fact, Kamala&#8217;s views on topics like transgenderism, at the expense of substantive issues, was the number-one, most important issue on these swing voters&#8217; minds.
Just so we&#8217;re clear on the terms, Blueprint defines a &#8220;swing voter&#8221; as:
<blockquote>those who are undecided in the presidential race, have changed their voting preference since 2020 (voting Democrat in one election and Republican in the other), or are independents who either indicate they split their votes between Democrats and Republicans, or who hold either favorable or unfavorable views of both Trump and Harris.</blockquote>
If you go to Blueprint&#8217;s <a href="https://blueprint2024.com/polling/why-trump-reasons-11-8/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">crosstabs</a>, here&#8217;s what they found specifically about this group of voters. Among swing voters who ultimately voted for Trump, the top reason for voting for Trump over Kamala was:
<blockquote>Kamala Harris is focused more on cultural issues like transgender issues rather than helping the middle class.</blockquote>
That was the single most important issue for these swing voters, relative to all the others. The next most important issue was inflation, followed closely by illegal migration.
This is a finding that, if you had floated it as a possibility prior to the election, would&#8217;ve gotten you laughed out of the room. But now that Democrats realize that most voters think they&#8217;re crazy, they&#8217;re finally talking about it. Democrat-aligned pollsters are openly recognizing that transgenderism — including the associated government policies that have been championed by trans activists and the Biden-Harris administration — is a massive problem for the Democrat Party.

And yet, this is a problem that — certainly at least in a pre-”<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/what-is-a-woman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">What Is A Woman?</a>” world — very few Republicans wanted to touch. In fact, plenty of Republicans still don&#8217;t want to talk about this. It&#8217;s an issue that for years I was personally ridiculed for pursuing, including by many on the Right. Even among people who believe we&#8217;re on the correct side of the whole debate, a lot of them still said it was a waste of time to talk about it.
These people think that so-called &#8220;culture war issues&#8221; are a side show. They&#8217;re &#8220;irrelevant distractions,&#8221; supposedly. But they aren’t. Culture is everything. It’s the stuff that a nation is made of. And that matters politically. People vote for culture. People don&#8217;t just vote based on candidates&#8217; personalities, or on specific proposals. They vote for the country they want to live in. And now, a critical mass of those voters have decided that they don&#8217;t want to live in a country that can&#8217;t even define the word &#8220;woman.&#8221;
To be clear, this result isn&#8217;t saying that transgenderism was at the top of voters&#8217; minds all by itself. Instead, what this result reveals is that trans issue is about much more than just transgenderism. It’s symptomatic of something larger and deeper. Voters see the trans agenda as an assault on truth and basic common sense, which is exactly what it is. It&#8217;s a destructive set of beliefs that serves only to derail human progress while harming a lot of people.
Trans ideology requires that Americans affirm what is not true and reject objective reality, on the theory that this is somehow the more &#8220;humane&#8221; approach. But there&#8217;s nothing humane or sustainable about lying — especially when the point of the lying is to obscure something as fundamental as human biology and human nature. If you tolerate lies about that, then you will tolerate lies about anything. 
If a white guy wants to identify as black, then you can&#8217;t object. 
If a politician wants to claim that crime is down when it&#8217;s clearly not, then you can&#8217;t complain about that, either. 
If the government wants to claim the economy is doing fine when no one can find a job or afford groceries, then you have to shut up and take it.
Once reality is subjective, you can&#8217;t communicate anymore in any meaningful way, much less fix problems. All you can do is spiral down further and further into delusions. Trans ideology is built on the premise that we all have our own truth. That there is no objective reality or universal truth that we are all expected to acknowledge.

If we accept trans ideology, we accept this premise. And if we accept this premise, we have tacitly accepted every other Left-wing premise, because now we have no basis to deny any of it. We cannot call anything untrue. Now there is nothing that can be called untrue. Which means there is also nothing that can be called true. This is the fundamental reason why the fight against trans ideology matters. It’s the case that some of us have been making for many years, even against the objections of our own side. But now the voters see it and agree. And it’s one of the main reasons why Democrats were just obliterated in the election.
The Trump campaign understood that this issue would resonate with voters. That’s why they released this ad, which may have been the single most effective ad in the entire campaign. In fact it may be one of the best ads ever produced by a political campaign. Watch:

When she spoke to Fox News — in the only hostile interview she participated in during the entire campaign — Kamala was asked directly about this ad. She had the opportunity to disavow all of this nonsense. She could&#8217;ve admitted that it was a terrible idea to use taxpayer money to fund sex changes for illegals, or for anyone else. She could&#8217;ve acknowledged that people can&#8217;t change their gender or pick their pronouns. She also could&#8217;ve laid out a clear definition of the word &#8220;woman&#8221; — which is a pretty important word to define, since she was campaigning to be the first woman president.
In other words, Kamala had the opportunity to do what the African tribesmen did when I spoke to them in &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/what-is-a-woman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">What is a Woman?</a>&#8220;. She could have laughed in the face of this absurdity, as anyone with common sense would do. She could have demonstrated to Americans that she&#8217;s not going to surrender the federal government to a small number of radical, anti-truth activists. But Kamala didn&#8217;t do any of that.
Instead, here&#8217;s how she addressed this ad when Bret Baier brought it up:

So she mocks the Trump campaign for spending so much money on the ad. This is the candidate whose campaign raised a billion dollars and ended up in debt by tens of millions of dollars because they hired a bunch of celebrity influencers who, it turns out, have no influence. Yet she’s lecturing the Trump campaign on how they should&#8217;ve spent their money. Maybe the Trump campaign should&#8217;ve gone bankrupt in order to get Megan Thee Stallion to twerk on stage. That strategy obviously worked out so well for Kamala.
And then Kamala goes on to dismiss the whole issue as unimportant. She claims that Americans don&#8217;t really care about all of this trans stuff. But they do. They care about it because they care about truth. And they care about truth because if you don’t have that, literally nothing else matters.
Already, there are some signs that Left-wing media is coming around, ever so begrudgingly, to this reality. Here&#8217;s Joe Scarborough, for example.

You can imagine how well this monologue went over among the various LGBTQ alphabet activist groups and publications. 
The Advocate, for example, wrote an entire article attacking Scarborough for this. They <a href="https://www.advocate.com/voices/morning-joe-transphobia-trump-election" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stated </a>that, 
<blockquote>&#8220;If you voted for Donald Trump and against Kamala Harris because you had something against the trans community, you were beyond an outlier. You were not even a blip on the radar. So why are people like Joe and Mika callously targeting the trans community for Harris’s loss? And why are they doing it so brazenly? Instead of discussing the real reasons why Harris lost to Trump, they trash innocent human beings. The most vulnerable in society.&#8221;</blockquote>
So again, they assume this is a fringe issue, when it&#8217;s obviously not. They think voters who are tired of trans nonsense are a &#8220;blip on the radar.&#8221; But the truth is — as this Blueprint poll demonstrates — Americans don&#8217;t want to affirm lies anymore. They are tired of having their culture held hostage by these people. It doesn&#8217;t matter how much you try to berate these voters for &#8220;trashing innocent human beings&#8221; or whatever. Something is either true or it&#8217;s not. Affirming the truth is not &#8220;trashing&#8221; anyone. It&#8217;s the bare minimum necessary to ensure that society can continue to function.
On CNN, they still haven&#8217;t come around to this realization. Instead, they just hosted a live on-air struggle session after a guest pointed out that Americans don&#8217;t like the idea of boys competing in women&#8217;s sports. Watch:

Yes, it&#8217;s now a &#8220;slur&#8221; to refer to a boy as a boy. If a 12-year-old boy says he feels like a girl, you don&#8217;t get to substitute your bigoted opinions for the well-informed judgment of a preteen. Who do you think you are? All you get to do is nod your head and ask a doctor to pump his body full of sterilizing hormones. This is the position of CNN. It&#8217;s the position of the woman hosting this show. But it&#8217;s the position of a vanishingly small amount of the electorate.
That clip goes on for a while, by the way. The first guy says something that&#8217;s obviously true — that boys are competing in women&#8217;s sports, and they shouldn&#8217;t be — and then gets relentlessly heckled for it. He&#8217;s eventually told that the &#8220;American Medical Association&#8221; says that children can change their gender, so therefore, you don&#8217;t get to have an opinion on the topic. You have to accept their judgment or else you&#8217;ll get banned from CNN, just like the last guest who tried to speak his mind on this same panel.
This is the divide that the Democrats are experiencing right now as a party. This is the choice they have. They can either choose to acknowledge reality, or they can double down on absurdities and falsehoods. If they go with the absurdities and falsehoods, then they&#8217;re going to keep haranguing Americans, calling for censorship, and screaming at an audience that&#8217;s rapidly becoming nonexistent. Whatever they decide, it&#8217;s now clear that voters have made up their minds. On Tuesday, swing voters decided that affirming reality is the single most important issue in this country. This is the political victory that we&#8217;ve been seeking from the moment we began fighting the deranged excesses of gender ideology several years ago. And now it’s here. But as long as the Left keeps pushing it, the fight will continue.

MSNBC&#8217;s Joe Scarborough expressed shock on Thursday when he learned how expensive the cost of butter was for many Americans, prompting him to ask if it was wrapped in gold.
The moment came on the network&#8217;s &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; show with his wife, co-host Mika Brzezinski, as they discussed why President-elect Donald Trump beat Vice President Kamala Harris.
&#8220;I want to talk about the economy for a second,&#8221; he said. &#8220;A few weeks ago, three weeks ago, somebody who was going to be voting for Kamala Harris came up to me and said, &#8216;Oh my god, Trump&#8217;s going to win.&#8217; I go, &#8216;Why is that?&#8217; He goes, &#8216;I just, I went to the grocery store, butter is over $3.'&#8221;
&#8220;I kind of laughed and I said, &#8216;Well, that&#8217;s kind of reductive, isn&#8217;t it?&#8217; I said it to myself,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;To him, I smiled, and I said, &#8216;Good point.&#8217; But it actually, everything we&#8217;re hearing after the election is&#8211;&#8221;
Brzezinski then interrupted and pointed out that butter actually costs $7, not $3.

&#8220;Okay, well, yeah, okay, well, anyway, my point is this, the rent is too damn high, and this guy was saying the cost of butter is way damn too high,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And so I thought it was a bit reductive.&#8221;
&#8220;It ended up being just the point, that if you look at the cost of groceries, if you look at the cost of gas, if you look at the cost of things compared to four years ago, it was a very simple answer for working-class Americans: things just cost too much,&#8221; he added.
