Former NFL player and ESPN host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jason-kelce-breaks-silence-on-penn-state-heckler-incident">Jason Kelce</a> has been cleared in a phone-smashing heckler incident at Pennsylvania State University last month.
In a statement on Tuesday, Penn State police said it has closed its investigation and Kelce has been cleared of any wrongdoing after he was seen on video throwing a heckler’s phone to the ground after the person called his brother <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/travis-kelce">Travis Kelce</a> a “f****t for dating Taylor Swift,” the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/nfl/article-14177971/Police-issue-major-update-Jason-Kelce-phone-smashing-incident.html">Daily Mail</a> reported.
“The individual in the video footage circulating on social media has not been identified, and no one has come forward to University Police with a related complaint about damage to personal property,” the Penn State statement read. 
In the <a href="https://x.com/Outkick/status/1852792827710697785">video</a> that surfaced on X, the former Philadelphia Eagles star was attempting to walk into the Ohio State-Penn State college football game when he was surrounded outside Penn State’s Beaver Stadium, as The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jason-kelce-harassed-at-penn-state-smashes-hecklers-phone">Daily Wire</a> previously reported. One of the people who was walking very close to him was a male college student who pointed his phone&#8217;s camera in Kelce’s face and began harassing him.
In the clip, the person could be heard saying to Kelce, whose brother is dating the superstar singer, “Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is a f****t for dating Taylor Swift?”
A second <a href="https://x.com/barstoolsports/status/1852779425990914182">video</a> showed a close-up shot of Jason looking directly at the heckler while he made the comments. In response, Kelce grabbed the phone and threw it to the ground. He then bent down to pick it up before walking away.
In a third <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/DB4pgg5CqFZ/?igsh=MTBlZjE4YzMxOA%3D%3D">clip</a>, Kelce could be seen bending down to pick up the dropped phone, at which point the heckler put his hand on Kelce and shoved the former NFL player to the ground. Kelce then stood up and lashed out at the heckler, saying “Who’s the f****t now?” before he walked off to attend the game.
The former Eagles star later addressed what happened in the video and admitted that he wasn’t happy with any of what had happened.
“Listen, I’m not happy with anything that took place,” Kelce said on the show. “I’m not proud of it. And in a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate. And I just don’t think that that’s a productive thing.”
“I really don’t,” he added. “I don’t think that it leads to discourse and it’s the right way to go about things. In that moment I fell down to a level that I shouldn’t have. So, bottom line is, I try to live my life by the golden rule. That’s what I’ve always been taught … even though I fell short this week.”
Kelce retired from the Eagles in March 2024. He is a host of the “New Heights” podcast with his brother Travis in addition to working for the sports network.

Retired NFL Philadelphia Eagles star and podcast host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jason-kelce">Jason Kelce’s</a> wife Kylie Kelce hilariously announced that the couple is expecting again, with a fourth daughter on the way.
In a post Friday on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DCsStvWOmL6/">Instagram</a>, the wife of the ESPN sportscaster shared a picture of their three girls &#8212; Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 15 months &#8212; all wearing cute, long-sleeve pink sweaters that read, “Big Sister.”
The funny part is only one of them was smiling &#8212; Ellie. Youngest daughter Bennett was in tears, and Wyatt was making a face with her hands over her ears.
“I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister,&#8221; Kylie’s post read. &#8220;At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page!”
Reading through the comments, everyone made it clear they couldn’t have been more excited for the couple’s news.
Kylie’s mother in law Donna Kelce wrote, “Love it.”

At the time of this piece, Jason&#8217;s brother Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, has yet to publicly comment about the exciting news, nor has Travis&#8217; famous pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift.
In July, Kylie hit back at tabloid rumors that she and Jason were expecting in a <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@kyliekelce/video/7393370263125085471?lang=en">TikTok</a> about nipping the rumors in the bud, saying she was not pregnant.
She said in the video that there have been numerous articles written about her for the last year “stating that I am pregnant” and added she couldn’t stand “people writing such insensitive articles about a sensitive topic.”

Reading through social media, the support for Kelce appeared to be overwhelming, with many people pointing out this person was harassing him, and saying horrible things about his brother clearly in an effort to get a viral moment.
“Good for Jason Kelce. Can’t say bulls*** and not expect a response,” one person <a href="https://x.com/MarkMizzouSteel/status/1852785021788041430">wrote</a>.
Another <a href="https://x.com/colin_dunlap/status/1852764756811358442">added,</a> “I love this. Jason Kelce just took a stand for normal men against the ‘idiots who have become way too comfortable saying ridiculous s*** to people who can actually kick their a**&#8217; crowd. Good for him.”

Jason and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/travis-kelce">Travis Kelce</a> just inked a major deal for their <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/podcast">podcast</a> rumored to be worth more than $100 million, according to an unnamed source.
According to a report from <a href="https://variety.com/2024/digital/news/kelce-brothers-podcast-wondery-new-heights-1236118594/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Variety</a>, the NFL brothers have a three-year deal with Wondery, an Amazon company that will have exclusive rights to their popular “New Heights” podcast.
Travis currently plays tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Jason retired earlier this year after playing 13 seasons with the Philadephia Eagles.
The outlet noted that going forward, starting Wednesday, Wondery will have global distribution rights to all audio and video episodes of “New Heights,” including an extensive back catalog of all previous content. The company will also have rights to international audio adaptations of the podcast and will hold exclusive rights to monetize and distribute episodes, the outlet noted.

“I have known him for seven plus, eight plus years,” the Chief’s player said. “I cherish him as a teammate. I think Pat [Mahomes] said it best where he [Butker] is every bit of a great person and a great teammate. He’s treated friends and family that I’ve introduced to him with nothing but respect and kindness.”
“That’s how he treats everyone,” he added. “When it comes down to his views and what he said at Saint Benedict’s commencement speech, those are his. I can’t say I agree with the majority of it or just about any of it outside of just him loving his family and his kids. And I don’t think that I should judge him by his views, especially his religious views, of how to go about life, that’s just not who I am.”

Travis’ comments were similar to what Chief’s head coach <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/chiefs-head-coach-andy-reid-and-qb-patrick-mahomes-defend-teammate-harrison-butker" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Andy Reid and KC QB Patrick Mahomes</a> said during a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/live/wXvi5ttZfwY">press conference</a> when the two answered questions about the off-field distractions surrounding <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/chiefs-kicker-slams-biden-and-dei-in-commencement-speech">Butker’s speech</a>.
“We’re a microcosm of life here,” Reid said. “Everybody is from different areas, different religions, different races. And so we all get along, we all respect each other’s opinions. And not necessarily do we go by those, but we respect everybody to have a voice. It’s the great thing about America, man. And we’re just … a microcosm of that. My wish is that everybody could follow that.”

The host of the hugely successful “New Heights” <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/arnold-schwarzenegger-tells-kelce-brothers-the-one-movie-he-regrets-passing-on">podcast</a> &#8211;&#8211; which he cohosts with brother Kansas City Chief’s star Travis Kelce &#8212; will officially start his TV broadcast career alongside hosts like Scott Van Pelt, Robert Griffin III, and Larry Fitzgerald of the popular pregame show beginning with the 2024 NFL season, <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/jason-kelce-tv-gig-espn-nfl-1235886108/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to The Hollywood Reporter.
Kelce was one of many current and former NFL players who participated in last year’s NFL broadcast boot camp, the outlet noted. During the camp, the league teaches players all about broadcasting and Kelce was seen as a star performer.
Exactly where Kelce would land has been a hot topic during the offseason following his announcement in March that he was walking away from the league after 13 years.

The changes over at ESPN come after CBS announced that two of the longtime hosts of “The NFL Today,” retired NFL players Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason, were <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/nfl-today-matt-ryan-phil-simms-boomer-esiason-cbs-1235886006/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">leaving</a> the show, per The Hollywood Reporter. The network announced that the former NFL MVP QB Matt Ryan will move to the pregame desk alongside Bill Cowher, JJ Watt, James Brown, and Nate Burleson for the upcoming season.
“Matt had an outstanding first year at <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/t/cbs-sports/">CBS Sports</a>, excelling as both a studio and game analyst,” CBS Sports president and CEO David Berson said in a statement.

Executives with knowledge told The <a href="https://theathletic.com/5371700/2024/03/27/jason-kelce-espn-monday-night-football/">Athletic</a> that a shake-up is continuing for &#8220;MNF&#8221; pregame coverage after last year&#8217;s move to have Scott Van Pelt helm the show and bring in Robert Griffin III. The spot for RGIII, who&#8217;s already on the network&#8217;s &#8220;Get Up&#8221; show, is reportedly in jeopardy with the network reaching out to score Kelce. The Philadelphia Eagles center retired last month after 13 years in the league.
Retired Hall of Fame wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald&#8217;s spot on the &#8220;MNF&#8221; pregame coverage is reportedly also in limbo, after his contract has yet to be renewed, according to those with knowledge. Fitzgerald was reportedly informed that the network was waiting to see how the rest of its pregame lineup shapes up before finalizing his deal, the outlet noted.
Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark are expected to return to the pregame show alongside Pelt.

&#8220;Ky tweeted this or Instagrammed this and immediately, I googled ‘how to lose a cat.,'&#8221; Kelce said, referencing his wife&#8217;s comments. &#8220;Nothing came up. The only thing that came up was like, &#8216;Oh, are you sad you just lost a cat?&#8217; Like, no, I need to lose a cat. I&#8217;m not worried about losing it. I want to lose it, and I&#8217;m surprised that there was nowhere to research good ways to accidentally lose a cat.&#8221;

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/nfl">NFL</a> brothers Travis and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jason-kelce">Jason Kelce</a> recently addressed the deadly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/mass-shooting">shooting</a> at the celebratory parade following the Kansas City Chiefs winning <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/super-bowl">Super Bowl LVIII</a>.
The brothers added the message to a pre-recorded episode of their podcast, “New Heights with Jason and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/travis-kelce">Travis Kelce.</a>”  The full episode comes out on Wednesday, but the special intro was released on Monday.

&#8220;We just wanted to say our hearts go out to all of the victims, their families, Chiefs Kingdom, and really all of Kansas City that was really there on a day to try and celebrate the community,&#8221; Jason, who just retired after playing center for the Philadelphia Eagles, added.
&#8220;It&#8217;s unfortunate, and deeply tragic the events that occurred. So we want to thank the local law enforcement that sprang into action, the first responders on scene, and anybody that&#8217;s been willing to help those affected by this tragedy,&#8221; he continued.
Travis told fans they could help by contributing to an emergency response fund that was set up. 
Jason also shared praise for the community and how it came together in the wake of the tragedy.
&#8220;One of the beautiful things that we have in doing this podcast is the wonderful community out there — the 92%ers — everybody that watches this show,&#8221; he said.

This message comes on the heels of Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/taylor-swift-donates-100k-to-family-of-woman-killed-during-chiefs-parade-shooting">donating</a> $100,000 to the family of Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan on GoFundMe. Lopez-Galvan, a local radio DJ, was the sole casualty at the mass shooting event. Several other individuals, including young children, were hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

The Philadelphia Eagles center on Friday took to <a href="https://x.com/JasonKelce/status/1758505827734831218?s=20">X</a> and wrote to his hundreds of thousands of followers that &#8220;Operation &#8216;Get Elijah His Mask Back&#8217; is underway!&#8221; It came after he said he was made aware of <a href="https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/jason-kelce-luchador-mask/3463571/">NBC DFW&#8217;s</a> story regarding the owner of the mask, 8th grader Elijah Smith, hoping to get it back.
&#8220;I appreciate everyone bringing this [story] to my attention, and look forward to uniting Elijah with his mask once again,&#8221; Kelce wrote. &#8220;Your mask indeed brings great fortune, I owe you big time, sorry it was commandeered.&#8221;
Kelce &#8212; brother of Chief&#8217;s star <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/travis-kelce-speculates-on-why-people-are-so-fascinated-by-his-relationship-with-taylor-swift" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Travis Kelce</a> &#8212; included a picture in his post showing a photo of him wearing the yellow and red luchador mask standing next to Elijah at a Super Bowl celebration.

On Sunday, pictures and videos surfaced on social media of the Eagles star wearing the mask while out celebrating with his brother and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/taylor-swift-makes-history-at-grammys-announces-new-album" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swift</a> following the Chiefs 25-22 victory against the San Francisco 49ers.
Smith and his parents spoke to the NBC outlet on Thursday and talked about how he would like his &#8220;lucky&#8221; mask back because Kelce inadvertently walked away with it after they took the photo together. They said the mask was lucky because Elijah wore it to the 2023 Super Bowl and the Chiefs won and he again wore it to this year&#8217;s Super Bowl where the team was victorious.

&#8220;I gave him my mask and then he dropped it and then picked it back up,&#8221; Smith told the outlet. &#8220;Then I got a picture with him wearing it and then I just hung out next to them for five to 10 minutes, they were dancing and everything.&#8221;
Smith said he and his friend tried to catch up to Jason, but it was loud and very crowded.
&#8220;I saw videos on Instagram this week of him wearing it at the next after-party he went to, so he clearly never took it off the whole night,&#8221; Smith added.
Elijah&#8217;s father Thad Smith told NBC, &#8220;The only thing is, Jason if you&#8217;re listening, we just need the mask back before the season starts. Because it&#8217;s a lucky mask, and so the Chiefs need the luck. I&#8217;m sorry we&#8217;re not Eagles fans.”
Elijah said the mask has a huge autograph on the side from Chief&#8217;s player Trent McDuffie so he would really like it back, adding that &#8220;it would be pretty cool if he [Kelce] autographed it&#8221; before he sent it back.
