<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/travis-kelce">Travis Kelce</a> reflected on his future in the NFL following the Chiefs&#8217; devastating Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, calling it a “tough reality” that he’s “toward the back nine” of his career.
Speaking on Kelce’s “New Heights” <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EUOvKB3jgs">podcast</a> with his brother <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/dont-feel-sorry-for-me-jason-kelce-addresses-those-retirement-rumors">Jason Kelce</a>, the Kansas City star tight end admitted this year was “grueling” and he’s not sure what his future in football looks like right now.
“I know everybody wants to know whether or not I’m playing next year,” Travis said. “Right now, I’m just kicking everything down the road. … and I’m not making any crazy decisions, but right now, the biggest thing is just being there for my teammates and being there for my coaches, understanding that there’s a lot goes into this thing.”

“I’ve been fortunate over the past five, six years, I’ve played more football than anybody,” he added. “And it’s because the people that are in that building, and the fact that we keep going to these AFC Championships and these Super Bowls, that means I’m playing an extra three games more than everybody else in the entire league.”
“That’s a lot of wear and tear on your body, and it’s a lot of time spent in the building focusing on your craft, focusing on the task at hand, every challenge that you set up for yourself, and that process can be grueling,” Kelce continued. “It can weigh on you. It can make you better, it can drive you crazy, the same time. And right now, it’s one of those things where it was kind of driving me crazy this year.”
Travis’ brother Jason, who <a href="https://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/news/jason-kelce-announces-his-retirement">retired</a> from the NFL last year after playing for the Eagles his entire career after being drafted in 2011, sympathized with his brother, who admitted that the reality is he’s now “toward the back nine of your career.&#8221;
“As you see yourself or not feel yourself have the success that you once used to have,” Kelce said. “Man, it’s a tough pill to swallow.”
“And then on top of that, to not be there in the biggest moments, knowing your team’s counting on you, man, those are all extremely hard things, to0, it’s just a tough reality,” he added. “I think I am going to take some time to figure it out.”
“I owe it to my teammates that if I do come back, then it’s going to be something that is a wholehearted decision; I’m not half-a**ing it,” Kelce continued. “I’m fully here for them. I think I can play — whether or not I’m motivated or it’s the best decision for me as a man, as a human, as a person to take on all that responsibility.”
Kelce was drafted by the Chiefs in 2013 had has had a Hall of Fame career as the team&#8217;s star tight end.

Jason said he was feeling “mixed emotions” due to the fact that his brother, Travis Kelce, plays <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/football">tight end</a> for the Chiefs.

Jason went on to say the game was “odd” to watch because of “mixed emotions before, during, and after.” The former center said his feelings of rooting for both sides were likely similar to what his parents went through when he was still playing and both of their sons were on different teams, including when they became the first brothers in history to play each other at the 2023 Super Bowl, which the Chiefs won 38 &#8211; 35.
“On one hand, I wanted what is best for my brother, and to see his success. And on the other hand, there are so many people, teammates, and coaches, in the Philadelphia Eagles organization that I care deeply about &#8230; many of whom I owe my own success to throughout my career,” Kelce added. 
Jason spent his entire 13-year NFL career playing for the Eagles.
“I am very proud [of] Jalen Hurts, Nick Sirianni, and this entire team. They have persevered greatly, answered their critics amazingly, and proved themselves to be undoubtedly the best team this season,” he continued.

“It is extremely difficult for a team in the NFL to have enough talent, coaching, fortune, and character to win a Super Bowl.  The character and swagger of this Eagles team was something truly special to behold.  A true representation of the toughness and grit that makes Philadelphia what it is.  Well done fellas, well f***ing done,” he wrote.
Next, Kelce heaped praise on Travis. He said, “As for my brother, There isn’t a person I love or care about more.  It has been tough to process these feelings, of course I feel for him and am always rooting for him,  but I know he does not need, nor want my pity.  He has amassed greatness few on this planet could ever dream of, as has his team, and they should feel pride in their accomplishments this season and in the past.”

Sunday’s Super Bowl rematch between the Eagles and the Chiefs at the Superdome in New Orleans was one-sided, with the Eagles dominating for the entire game, ending the first half with 24 unanswered points. The Eagles’ big win was the franchise&#8217;s second Super Bowl title and dashed the Chiefs in their quest for a history-making &#8220;three-peat,” or winning three Super Bowl titles in a row. 
Travis admitted that his team didn&#8217;t show up like they wanted to on Sunday. “We haven’t played that bad all year,” he <a href="https://x.com/Sam4TR/status/1888800752207896875">told</a> reporters after the game. “You don’t lose like that without everything going bad.”

Former NFL player and ESPN host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jason-kelce-breaks-silence-on-penn-state-heckler-incident">Jason Kelce</a> has been cleared in a phone-smashing heckler incident at Pennsylvania State University last month.
In a statement on Tuesday, Penn State police said it has closed its investigation and Kelce has been cleared of any wrongdoing after he was seen on video throwing a heckler’s phone to the ground after the person called his brother <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/travis-kelce">Travis Kelce</a> a “f****t for dating Taylor Swift,” the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/nfl/article-14177971/Police-issue-major-update-Jason-Kelce-phone-smashing-incident.html">Daily Mail</a> reported.
“The individual in the video footage circulating on social media has not been identified, and no one has come forward to University Police with a related complaint about damage to personal property,” the Penn State statement read.

One of the people who was walking very close to him was a male college student who pointed his phone&#8217;s camera in Kelce’s face and began harassing him.
In the clip, the person could be heard saying to Kelce, whose brother is dating the superstar singer, “Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is a f****t for dating Taylor Swift?”
A second <a href="https://x.com/barstoolsports/status/1852779425990914182">video</a> showed a close-up shot of Jason looking directly at the heckler while he made the comments. In response, Kelce grabbed the phone and threw it to the ground. He then bent down to pick it up before walking away.
In a third <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/DB4pgg5CqFZ/?igsh=MTBlZjE4YzMxOA%3D%3D">clip</a>, Kelce could be seen bending down to pick up the dropped phone, at which point the heckler put his hand on Kelce and shoved the former NFL player to the ground. Kelce then stood up and lashed out at the heckler, saying “Who’s the f****t now?” before he walked off to attend the game.
The former Eagles star later addressed what happened in the video and admitted that he wasn’t happy with any of what had happened.
“Listen, I’m not happy with anything that took place,” Kelce said on the show. “I’m not proud of it. And in a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate. And I just don’t think that that’s a productive thing.”
“I really don’t,” he added. “I don’t think that it leads to discourse and it’s the right way to go about things. In that moment I fell down to a level that I shouldn’t have. So, bottom line is, I try to live my life by the golden rule. That’s what I’ve always been taught … even though I fell short this week.”
Kelce retired from the Eagles in March 2024. He is a host of the “New Heights” podcast with his brother Travis in addition to working for the sports network.

Retired NFL Philadelphia Eagles star and podcast host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jason-kelce">Jason Kelce’s</a> wife Kylie Kelce hilariously announced that the couple is expecting again, with a fourth daughter on the way.
In a post Friday on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DCsStvWOmL6/">Instagram</a>, the wife of the ESPN sportscaster shared a picture of their three girls &#8212; Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 15 months &#8212; all wearing cute, long-sleeve pink sweaters that read, “Big Sister.”
The funny part is only one of them was smiling &#8212; Ellie. Youngest daughter Bennett was in tears, and Wyatt was making a face with her hands over her ears.
“I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister,&#8221; Kylie’s post read. &#8220;At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page!”
Reading through the comments, everyone made it clear they couldn’t have been more excited for the couple’s news.
Kylie’s mother in law Donna Kelce wrote, “Love it.”

At the time of this piece, Jason&#8217;s brother Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, has yet to publicly comment about the exciting news, nor has Travis&#8217; famous pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift.
In July, Kylie hit back at tabloid rumors that she and Jason were expecting in a <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@kyliekelce/video/7393370263125085471?lang=en">TikTok</a> about nipping the rumors in the bud, saying she was not pregnant.
She said in the video that there have been numerous articles written about her for the last year “stating that I am pregnant” and added she couldn’t stand “people writing such insensitive articles about a sensitive topic.”
On Friday, Kelce made a new post on <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@kyliekelce/video/7440254410401402143?lang=en">TikTok</a> using her past video and joked about “famous last words.” She then played a clip of the three girls in their pink sweaters, which she posted to announce the pregnancy.

One of the people who was walking very close to him was a male college student pointing his phone-camera in Kelce&#8217;s face and harassing him.
In the clip, we can hear the person say to Kelce, whose brother is dating Taylor Swift, “Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is a f****t for dating Taylor Swift?”
A second <a href="https://x.com/barstoolsports/status/1852779425990914182">video</a> shows a close-up shot of Jason seeing the heckler holding the phone in his face while making the attack on his brother. In response, Kelce grabs the phone and throws it to the ground. He then bends down to pick it up and walks away.
In a third <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/DB4pgg5CqFZ/?igsh=MTBlZjE4YzMxOA%3D%3D" target="_blank" rel="noopener">clip</a>, we see Kelce bend down to pick up the dropped phone again, when the heckler puts his hand on him and shoves the former NFL player to the ground. Travis&#8217; brother then stands up and replies to the heckler, “Who’s the f****t now?” before he walked off to the game.

Reading through social media, the support for Kelce appeared to be overwhelming, with many people pointing out this person was harassing him, and saying horrible things about his brother clearly in an effort to get a viral moment.
“Good for Jason Kelce. Can’t say bulls*** and not expect a response,” one person <a href="https://x.com/MarkMizzouSteel/status/1852785021788041430">wrote</a>.
Another <a href="https://x.com/colin_dunlap/status/1852764756811358442">added,</a> “I love this. Jason Kelce just took a stand for normal men against the ‘idiots who have become way too comfortable saying ridiculous s*** to people who can actually kick their a**&#8217; crowd. Good for him.”
While a third person <a href="https://x.com/TaylorTwellman/status/1852776563491717481">wrote</a>, “People are gonna comment about Jason Kelce but the point is there’s no accountability for anything anyone says anymore. Jason and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/travis-kelce">Travis Kelce</a> just inked a major deal for their <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/podcast">podcast</a> rumored to be worth more than $100 million, according to an unnamed source.
According to a report from <a href="https://variety.com/2024/digital/news/kelce-brothers-podcast-wondery-new-heights-1236118594/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Variety</a>, the NFL brothers have a three-year deal with Wondery, an Amazon company that will have exclusive rights to their popular “New Heights” podcast.
Travis currently plays tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Jason retired earlier this year after playing 13 seasons with the Philadephia Eagles.
The outlet noted that going forward, starting Wednesday, Wondery will have global distribution rights to all audio and video episodes of “New Heights,” including an extensive back catalog of all previous content. The company will also have rights to international audio adaptations of the podcast and will hold exclusive rights to monetize and distribute episodes, the outlet noted.

Wondery CEO Jen Sargent also spoke of the partnership, saying its appeal extended well beyond just sports fans. “‘New Heights’ on the surface is a sports podcast, and sports is such a well-listened-to category,” she said. “But it’s become a cultural phenomenon — they’re in that cultural zeitgeist.”
Besides just talking football, the brothers use their podcast to discuss a variety of timely topics and interview celebrity guests.

During the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzXZM1wLRJk" target="_blank" rel="noopener">podcast</a> on Friday, Travis defended Butker, calling him a “great person” and more amid attacks from the Left over <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/chiefs-kicker-slams-biden-and-dei-in-commencement-speech">Butker’s speech</a> to the graduates at Benedictine College — when he praised his wife for being a “homemaker,” called out President Joe Biden’s support for abortion, and criticized LGBT “Pride month.”
“I have known him for seven plus, eight plus years,” the Chief’s player said. “I cherish him as a teammate. I think Pat [Mahomes] said it best where he [Butker] is every bit of a great person and a great teammate. He’s treated friends and family that I’ve introduced to him with nothing but respect and kindness.”
“That’s how he treats everyone,” he added. “When it comes down to his views and what he said at Saint Benedict’s commencement speech, those are his. I can’t say I agree with the majority of it or just about any of it outside of just him loving his family and his kids. Travis’ comments were similar to what Chief’s head coach <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/chiefs-head-coach-andy-reid-and-qb-patrick-mahomes-defend-teammate-harrison-butker" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Andy Reid and KC QB Patrick Mahomes</a> said during a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/live/wXvi5ttZfwY">press conference</a> when the two answered questions about the off-field distractions surrounding <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/chiefs-kicker-slams-biden-and-dei-in-commencement-speech">Butker’s speech</a>.
“We’re a microcosm of life here,” Reid said. “Everybody is from different areas, different religions, different races. And so we all get along, we all respect each other’s opinions. The changes over at ESPN come after CBS announced that two of the longtime hosts of “The NFL Today,” retired NFL players Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason, were <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/nfl-today-matt-ryan-phil-simms-boomer-esiason-cbs-1235886006/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">leaving</a> the show, per The Hollywood Reporter. The network announced that the former NFL MVP QB Matt Ryan will move to the pregame desk alongside Bill Cowher, JJ Watt, James Brown, and Nate Burleson for the upcoming season.
“Matt had an outstanding first year at <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/t/cbs-sports/">CBS Sports</a>, excelling as both a studio and game analyst,” CBS Sports president and CEO David Berson said in a statement.

The spot for RGIII, who&#8217;s already on the network&#8217;s &#8220;Get Up&#8221; show, is reportedly in jeopardy with the network reaching out to score Kelce. The Philadelphia Eagles center retired last month after 13 years in the league.
Retired Hall of Fame wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald&#8217;s spot on the &#8220;MNF&#8221; pregame coverage is reportedly also in limbo, after his contract has yet to be renewed, according to those with knowledge. Fitzgerald was reportedly informed that the network was waiting to see how the rest of its pregame lineup shapes up before finalizing his deal, the outlet noted.
