An industry insider claims “The Late Late Show” with <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/james-corden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">James Corden</a> was canceled because it lost massive amounts of money, costing CBS up to $20 million per year to keep on the air.
British <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/television" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TV presenter</a> Corden, best known for his “Carpool Karaoke” skits, hosted the last installment of the program last week after heading it up for eight years. 
The 44-year-old was reportedly paid close to $5 million per year to host the show. A source told Los Angeles Magazine that the production costs were between $60-$65 million while profits topped out at $45 million.  
“It was simply not sustainable,” the anonymous source <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12034389/James-Cordens-Late-Late-losing-CBS-20-million-year.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> ex-CNN anchor Brian Stelter. “CBS could not afford him anymore.” They said to continue the show, Corden would have to take a massive pay cut, plus they’d need to do layoffs. Ultimately, it was decided that the show should end after 30 years on the air.
Deadline <a href="https://deadline.com/2022/04/james-corden-leaving-late-late-show-2023-final-year-1235011646/">reported</a> in April 2022 that Corden would leave the show before summer 2023. According to the outlet, the network tried to keep Corden and offered him several contract extensions, which he declined.
“It’s been a really hard decision to leave because I’m so immensely proud of the show,” Corden told the publication then. “I’m thrilled to be extending [for a year]. I always thought I’d do it for five years and then leave, and then I stayed on. I’ve really been thinking about it for a long time, thinking whether there might be one more adventure.”
“My bosses here at CBS have been incredibly supportive and extraordinarily patient with me while I made this decision,” Corden told the outlet.
“We wish he could stay longer, but we are very proud he made CBS his American home and that this partnership will extend one more season on &#8216;The Late Late Show,’” CBS CEO George Cheeks told Deadline.

Nielsen ratings show that when Corden debuted in 2015, he averaged around 1.6 million viewers per episode. This number dropped to about half in the final year. 
The “Late Late Show” finale included appearances from Harry Styles and Will Ferrell, plus Carpool Karaoke with Adele. President Joe Biden also delivered a video message. The final installment drew an average audience of 1.43 million viewers, which was its largest since 2021, according to <a href="https://www.thewrap.com/the-late-late-show-with-james-corden-finale-ratings/">The Wrap</a>.

“The Late Late Show” host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/james-corden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">James Corden</a> already announced in April that he’s leaving the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/television" target="_blank" rel="noopener">show</a>, but during a recent conversation with actress Drew Barrymore, the father of three explained his reasoning.
The 44-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment" target="_blank" rel="noopener">comedian</a> said that while he’s sad to go, ultimately, his decision came down to an interaction he had with his son Max. At the time, Corden was shooting the Amazon Prime Video series “Mammals” and had to go to work on a Sunday. Max’s reaction to his dad being away caused the host to rethink his priorities.

“I was filming on a Sunday and I came downstairs, it was about six a.m. and my son, who was ten at the time, was sat on the stairs and he said, ‘Are you working today?’ and I said, ‘I am,’” Corden recalled. 
“He said, ‘I thought, well it’s Sunday,’ and I said, ‘I know buddy but this schedule’s just all over the place. We just got to get it done because we only have a tiny amount of time before we have to go back and do the show,’ and his face just kind of dropped,” he continued. 
“I got in the car and I called my wife Jules and I said, ‘I’ve realized, best case scenario we have six more summers where Max is like, even remotely wants to be around us and I cannot waste another one,’” Corden said. “So, really the choice was to go, ‘Well if I really want to do this other work, that cannot be at the expense of our children, our family,’ and that is really all it comes down to.” 
Corden admitted he&#8217;s disappointed to be leaving the show.
“Look it’s not easy in any way to walk away from something that is so &#8230; I mean I’ll never work in a better environment than the one I work in now,” Corden said.
“Nothing about leaving the show was to do with not enjoying it. I love it, but the truth is it became a very easy decision because I always knew it was an adventure and I never ever considered it to be the final destination,” he continued.
The British host anticipates that he’ll be emotional on his last day. 
“I will be a mess on that last show,” Corden predicted. “I will cry my eyes out but I will know at my core that the best thing for me and the best thing for us as a family is to put down some roots in London, and it feels absolutely right in every single way.”

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/james-corden">James Corden</a> spent part of his Monday night <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment">monologue</a> apologizing for the recent restaurant controversy at Balthazar, which resulted in him getting banned from the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/new-york-city">New York City</a> establishment.
The “Late Late Night” host offered his apologies for berating a member of the waitstaff, which led to owner Keith McNally <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/james-corden-banned-from-famous-nyc-restaurant-labeled-most-abusive-customer-ever-and-more">calling</a> Corden “a tiny Cretin of a man” and “the most abusive customer.”
During the monologue, Corden explained that he was reacting to his wife’s dish having ingredients she was allegedly allergic to. 
“I didn’t shout or scream. I didn’t get up out of my seat. I didn’t call anyone names or use derogatory language. I have been walking around thinking that I hadn’t done anything wrong, right? But the truth is I have. I made a rude comment and it was wrong,” the comedian <a href="https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/james-corden-restaurant-ban-apology-1235413436/">said</a> during his monologue. “It was an unnecessary comment. It was ungracious to the server.”
Next, Corden explained how he had previously apologized to McNally for his behavior.
“I called him straight away and I told him how upset I was that anybody was hurt by anything that I had said. We had a good talk. He appreciated the call,” he said during the monologue. “I was happy that we got to clear the air and I felt like we dealt with it privately. But by this point, the story was out there. People were upset.”
“I love it there, the food, the vibe, the service,” the 44-year-old host said of Balthazar. 
“Whenever these sorts of moments come my way, I like to adopt quite a British attitude,” Corden continued. “Never complain, never explain. It’s very much my motto. But as my dad pointed out to me on Saturday, he said, ‘Son, you did complain. So you might need to explain.’ Look, when you make a mistake, you have to take responsibility.”
McNally <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/james-corden-breaks-silence-on-restaurant-ban-says-its-beneath-him-to-care-and-he-did-nothing-wrong">already said</a> all was forgiven and Corden was allowed back at Balthazaar. 
“James Corden just called me and apologized profusely. Having f***ed up myself more than most people, I strongly believe in second chances,” McNally wrote, joking he would reverse the ban if he could host “Late Late Show” for nine months. 
“Anyone magnanimous enough to apologize to a deadbeat layabout like me (and my staff) doesn’t deserve to be banned from anywhere. Especially Balthazar. So Come Back to the 5 &amp; Dime, Jimmy Corden, Jimmy Corden. All is Forgiven. Xx,” the restauranteur shared.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/james-corden">James Corden</a> publicly addressed the controversy between himself and a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/new-york-city">New York City</a> restaurant owner who called him a “tiny cretin of a man” and “the most abusive customer” earlier this week.
The “Late Late Show” host discussed the incident during a recent interview with The New York Times. “I haven’t done anything wrong, on any level,” Corden <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2022/10/20/arts/television/james-corden-balthazar.html">told</a> the publication. “So why would I ever cancel this [interview]? I was there. I get it.”
“I feel so zen about the whole thing. Because I think it’s so silly. I just think it’s beneath all of us. It’s beneath you. It’s certainly beneath your publication,” the 44-year-old host continued. He also said he might discuss the whole incident on his show next week.
“I think I’m probably going to have to talk about it on Monday’s show,” Corden told the Times. “My feeling, often, is, never explain, never complain. But I’ll probably have to talk about it.”
It all started Monday when restaurateur Keith McNally went public with stories of Corden’s alleged rudeness at the NYC eatery <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/restaurant">Balthazar</a>. 
“I don’t often 86 a customer, but today I 86’d Corden,” McNally said, using a restaurant term for canceling something. “It did not make me laugh.&#8221;
The owner went on to describe how the late night host allegedly berated the restaurant staff for minor slights including finding a hair in his food and demanding free drinks. 
During another <a href="https://people.com/food/james-corden-breaks-silence-on-restaurant-drama-says-its-so-silly-as-he-did-nothing-wrong/">alleged incident</a>, he said Corden complained about his wife&#8217;s meal. McNally said, &#8220;That&#8217;s when James Corden began yelling like crazy to the server: &#8216;You can&#8217;t do your job! You can&#8217;t do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!'&#8221;
Later, McNally said he respected how Corden called and apologized after the story went viral. “James Corden just called me and apologized profusely. Having f***ed up myself more than most people, I strongly believe in second chances,” McNally wrote before joking he would reverse the ban if he could host “Late Late Show” for nine months. 
“Anyone magnanimous enough to apologize to a deadbeat layabout like me (and my staff) doesn’t deserve to be banned from anywhere. Especially Balthazar. So Come Back to the 5 &amp; Dime, Jimmy Corden, Jimmy Corden. All is Forgiven. Xx,” the restauranteur continued. 
McNally wrote in a follow-up Instagram post that he felt sorry for the British presenter. 
“Feeling strange about the James Corden thing,” McNally <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj4GazmIX47/">shared</a>. “On the one hand, he was definitely abusive to my staff, on the other hand, I feel really sorry for him right now.”
“Like most cowards, I want it both ways. F*** it, I’m going to get drunk,” he said.

But following Corden&#8217;s apology, McNally took to Instagram to rescind the ban — on one condition.

McNally&#8217;s <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/james-corden-banned-from-famous-nyc-restaurant-labeled-most-abusive-customer-ever-and-more/">previous post</a>, just hours earlier, described two scenes that he said were caused by the comedian. In one instance, he had complained after reportedly finding a hair in his food, demanding that the restaurant comp his meal and drinks and threatening to write a bad review if they failed to do so.
&#8220;After eating his main course, Corden showed the hair to Balthazar manager G, who was very apologetic. Corden was extremely nasty to G, and said: &#8216;Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far.'&#8221;
McNally included another example of similar behavior, adding, &#8220;James Corden is a Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man. And the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago,&#8221; McNally said, adding, &#8220;I don&#8217;t often 86 a customer, to today I 86&#8217;d Corden. McNally took to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj013OTPL0g/?hl=en">social media</a> blasting the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/james-corden">host</a> of the &#8220;Late Late Show&#8221; as a &#8220;tiny cretin of a man&#8221; who he said has been &#8220;86&#8217;ed&#8221; as customer of his restaurant, the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11325261/Keith-McNally-BANS-James-Corden-New-York-restaurant-abusive-customer.html">Daily Mail</a> reported in a piece published Monday. The term &#8220;86&#8217;ed&#8221; has a number of possible origin stories, including a <a href="https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=86" target="_blank" rel="noopener">throwback</a> to an old Greenwich Village speakeasy — located at 86 Bedford Street — that had no address on the door. Customers would &#8220;86 themselves&#8221; in the event of trouble.

The first post mentioned that in June, Corden was at Balthazar and &#8220;after eating his main course, Corden showed the hair to Balthazar manager G. who was very apologetic. Corden was extremely nasty to G, and said: &#8216;Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I write any nasty reviews in yelp or anything like that.'&#8221;
The second report stated that earlier this month, the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/james-corden-leaving-the-late-late-show-here-are-the-details">talk show host</a> was at the same restaurant with Corden&#8217;s wife who &#8220;ordered an egg yolk omelette with gruyere cheese and salad. A few minutes after they received the food, James called their server, M. K. and told her there was a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk.&#8221;
&#8220;M. K. informed the floor manager, G,&#8221; McNally wrote.  &#8220;The kitchen remade the dish but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad. That&#8217;s when James Corden began yelling like crazy to the server: &#8216;You can&#8217;t do your job! You can&#8217;t do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!'&#8221;
&#8220;M.K. was very apologetic and brought G. over to the table,&#8221; he added. &#8220;He returned the dish, and after that, everything was fine. He gave them promo Champagne glasses to smooth things out. G. said that Corden was pleasant to him but nasty to the server.&#8217; M.K. was very shaken, but professional that she is, continued to finish her shift.&#8221;

James Corden took on the roll of a White House Press Secretary, calling on a variety of White House reporters and even referring to a Reuters reporter as a &#8220;whiny little b****.&#8221;
During the White House Correspondent&#8217;s Dinner Saturday night in Washington, D.C., a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1V_05Hmxf9s">video</a> played for the audience made up of celebrities, politicians and journalists — and featuring <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/james-corden-leaving-the-late-late-show-here-are-the-details">the host</a> of the &#8220;The Late, Late Show with James Corden&#8221; standing outside the White House talking about how he was in town to see about &#8220;getting a job.&#8221;
Corden&#8217;s first stop was in the Oval Office where he met with President Joe Biden and told him how he&#8217;d &#8220;like to be of service&#8221; — and the president directed the TV host to head to the &#8220;press room.&#8221;
Biden then told Corden he &#8220;should go be with the press,&#8221; going on to tell him, &#8220;don&#8217;t come back.&#8221;

Corden went to find White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki. Psaki then took down some notes for the host and they included answers to questions about President Vladimir Putin&#8217;s invasion of Ukraine, the state of the U.S. economy and more.
&#8220;War with Russia, bad,&#8221; the press secretary shared. &#8220;Ahh, CDC [Center for Disease Control and Prevention] good. Economy, strong.&#8221;
The last one Corden didn&#8217;t seem to be on board with and responded, &#8220;is it?&#8221;
&#8220;Iran, diplomacy good,&#8221; Psaki continued, before the late-night host asked what he should say if he gets asked about Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson&#8217;s relationship.
Jen said &#8220;we love love around here, so I think that&#8217;s a safe place to be.&#8221;
Corden then stepped into the White House Press room and got hit with a host of hard hitting questions that definitely appeared to be tougher than the normal ones the media throws at Psaki. The questions ranged from asking about the president&#8217;s plans to stave off a recession to why Biden spends every weekend away from the WH in Delaware.
One question even touched on tapping the strategic petroleum reserve to deal with rising gas prices and Corden came back with a joke about it not being anybody&#8217;s business who the &#8220;president is tapping.&#8221;

&#8220;Do you know what?&#8221; the late-night host shared. &#8220;They warned me about you. They warned me about you. What&#8217;s your name. Jeff. &#8216;You&#8217;re right, Jeff&#8217;s a whiny little b****.&#8221;
There was then a bit of laughter from the dinner but not nearly as much as after Corden cracked the joke about the president.

Late-night host James Corden announced Thursday that he&#8217;s made what he called the &#8220;hard decision&#8221; to leave &#8220;The Late, Late Show with James Corden&#8221; in 2023.
The 43-year-old comedian said he had opted to extend his contract to host the CBS talk show for &#8220;one more year&#8221; and will end up exiting the show just ahead of Summer 2023, <a href="https://deadline.com/2022/04/james-corden-leaving-late-late-show-2023-final-year-1235011646/">reported</a> Deadline magazine. By the time the British performer leaves, he will have hosted the late-night show for eight and a half years.
&#8220;It&#8217;s been, it&#8217;s a really hard decision to leave because I&#8217;m so immensely proud of the show. I&#8217;m thrilled to be extending [for a year],” Corden told the outlet.
&#8220;I always thought I’d do it for five years and then leave and then I stayed on,&#8221; he added. &#8220;I&#8217;ve really been thinking about it for a long time, thinking whether there might be one more adventure.&#8221;
He shared a clip on <a href="https://twitter.com/latelateshow">Twitter</a> later from his late-night show when he made the official announcement to his fans.

The audience started cheering, but he cautioned them to wait because there was more, and it was &#8220;only half the story.&#8221;
&#8220;The other half is, the sadder news is I&#8217;ve decided to sign for one more year on the show,&#8221; Corden said. &#8220;And that this will be my last year hosting &#8216;The Late, Late Show.’”
Audible sighs can be heard from the audience in the background as the host genuinely sounded like he was getting emotional as he made the announcement about leaving.
Corden explained that when he &#8220;started this journey, it was always going to be just that, a journey,&#8221; as he said that he never saw it as his &#8220;final destination.&#8221;
&#8220;I really think in a year from now, that will be a good time to move on,&#8221; the late-night host shared. &#8220;And see what else might be out there. … We&#8217;re not leaving today. We still have a year to go, and we are all determined to make this the best year we have ever had making this show. We are going to go out with a bang.&#8221;
Corden then definitely got emotional calling it the &#8220;hardest decision&#8221; he&#8217;s ever had to make.

James Corden announced recently that he would change the “Spill Your Guts” segment on “The Late Late Show,” which was previously accused of being “culturally offensive” because some of the “disgusting foods” it featured were dishes from Asian countries.
Corden made the announcement on “The Howard Stern Show,” telling the host that he and his team were responding to the backlash caused by the segment.
&#8220;We heard [about the backlash] and the next time we do that bit we absolutely won&#8217;t use any of those foods,&#8221; Corden told Stern, <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/james-corden-change-spill-your-guts-the-late-late-show-amid-backlash-170427317.html">according to</a> Yahoo! Entertainment. &#8220;Our show is a show about joy and light and love. We don&#8217;t want to make a show that will upset anybody.&#8221;
&#8220;We completely understand,&#8221; he said of the backlash, adding &#8220;I don&#8217;t know when we&#8217;re going to do that bit again.&#8221;
&#8220;When we do we absolutely won&#8217;t use any foods [that offend],&#8221; he added.
&#8220;It&#8217;s not for us to determine [why] somebody&#8217;s upset or hurt about something. That&#8217;s not for us to decide. All we can do is go: Alright, we get it. We hear you. We won&#8217;t do that,&#8221; Corden said.
Stern, however, had been against the backlash to the segment, telling Corden that he shouldn’t give in to the complaints.
&#8220;It couldn&#8217;t be a more harmless bit&#8221;, Stern said. &#8220;Outta the blue, I guess some group of people are offended by this because you are serving foods that are popular in their culture — which I don&#8217;t know where culture this is, but what the f&#8212;. Who the hell is eating this s&#8212; — like 3,000-year-old eggs and all this horrible stuff.&#8221;

After the segment aired, a TikTok user voiced her concerns with program in a viral video.

After getting half a million views on her post, Saira started a Change.org <a href="https://www.change.org/p/james-corden-remove-spill-your-guts-segment-on-the-late-late-show-with-james-corden">petition</a> claiming Corden’s segment “encourages anti-Asian racism.”
“James Corden’s The Late Late show features a segment called ‘Spill Your Guts,’ where guests either have to answer difficult questions he gives them, or eat the foods that are presented to them. The foods that are presented are meant to be ‘gross,’ as they are supposed to encourage the guest to answer his questions instead,” Saira wrote. “However, many of the foods that he presents to his guests are actually from different Asian cultures. He’s presented foods such as balut, century-old eggs, and chicken feet, and which are often regularly eaten by Asian people.”
“During these segments, he’s openly called these foods ‘really disgusting,’ and ‘horrific.’ In the wake of the constant Asian hate crimes that have continuously been occurring, not only is this segment incredibly culturally offensive and insensitive, but it also encourages anti-Asian racism,” the petition continued. “So many Asian Americans are consistently bullied and mocked for their native foods, and this segment amplifies and encourages it.”
Saira’s petition has gained more than 45,500 signatures since it was posted. In a statement to Yahoo!, Saira said Corden’s show didn’t reach out to her about the backlash and complained that the host didn’t offer an actual apology for the segment.
“‘The Late Late Show’ did not reach out to me about this statement,&#8221; Saira told the outlet. &#8220;After listening to what he said, to be completely honest with you, I&#8217;m really disappointed in this statement, which in my opinion, isn&#8217;t an apology.&#8221;
&#8220;In my petition, I specifically asked for [Corden] to publicly apologize on his show, and the reason why I was really specific about that was because I think that it is imperative for his hundreds of thousands of viewers to understand the harm that mocking these foods, rooted in Asian cultures, has on Asian people who still eat them. Besides that, I still think he should be donating to Asian organizations as well,&#8221; Saira continued.

Late-night comedian James Corden is facing yet another online backlash for his &#8220;culturally offensive&#8221; segment &#8220;Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts&#8221; in which he has celebrity guests eat &#8220;gross&#8221; foods during a round of personal questions.
Though the segment has been a recurring feature of Corden&#8217;s show over the years, one episode in which the comedian used Asian dishes as a source of &#8220;gross&#8221; food prompted an intense response from a woman on TikTok.

Former President Barack Obama admitted Monday that unidentified flying objects (UFOs) are real.
Appearing on CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” Obama responded to the growing focus on the subject of UFOs.
&#8220;What is true, and I&#8217;m actually being serious here, is that there is footage and records of objects in the skies that we don&#8217;t know exactly what they are,&#8221; he <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/science/weird-science/obama-ufo-videos-dont-know-exactly-are-rcna963%5C">said</a>.
&#8220;We can&#8217;t explain how they move, their trajectory,&#8221; he said. &#8220;They did not have an easily explainable pattern. And so I think that people still take seriously, trying to investigate and figure out what that is.&#8221;
“But I have nothing to report to you today,” Obama noted.
Obama also joked about his experience coming into office and asking about the existence of aliens.
“When it comes to aliens, there are some things I just can’t tell you on air,” Obama <a href="https://nypost.com/2021/05/18/barack-obama-says-ufo-sightings-appear-real/">told</a> Corden.
“Look, the truth is that when I came into office, I asked,” Obama continued. “I was like, ‘All right, is there the lab somewhere where we’re keeping the alien specimens and spaceships?’”
“They did a little bit of research … and the answer was, ‘No,&#8217;” Obama added.
Obama also joked that Reggie Watts — the show’s bandleader — might himself be an alien.
“When he asks all these questions, he’s deflecting,” Obama quipped, asking, “Do we know what he looks like behind those glasses?”

Obama’s comments come during a week when public interest and speculation regarding UFOs has reached a fever pitch. Just this week, leaked footage from the U.S. Navy appeared to show an unidentified flying object (UFO) flying erratically in California, before pitching suddenly downwards and beneath the surface of the ocean below.
“A recently leaked video captured by the U.S. Navy shows an unidentified flying object off the coast of San Diego moving across the sky before suddenly disappearing into the water,” reported <a href="https://thehill.com/changing-america/resilience/smart-cities/554148-leaked-us-navy-video-shows-ufo-flying-in-california">The Hill</a>. “The video obtained by documentary filmmaker Jeremy Corbell was filmed in the Combat Information Center of the combat ship the USS Omaha on July 15, 2019.”
“The US Navy photographed &amp; filmed ‘spherical’ shaped UFOs &amp; advanced transmedium vehicles; here is some of that footage,” tweeted Corbell. “Filmed in the Combat Information Center of the USS Omaha / July 15th 2019 / warning area off San Diego @ 11pm PST. No wreckage found. No craft were recovered.”
“This footage is unclassified. Still images of this footage were included in the May 1st, 2020 UAPTF intelligence briefing that I have previously reported on,” Corbell added, directing interested readers to his other platforms for further information.

The debate over whether or not non-members of the LGBTQ community should be allowed to play LGBTQ roles on screen has kicked into warp drive over the past few years, with celebrities offering differing opinions at every turn. Singer Elton John, for instance, believes that straight actors should be able to play gay characters in films.
“That’s all bulls***, I’m sorry,” John said in reference to the biopic about his life starring Taron Egerton. “If people don’t like it, review-wise, or it doesn’t make one dollar, it’s the movie I wanted to make and that’s all that counts. I can look back and say, ‘You know what, I love it. I can live with it.’”
Openly gay actor Neil Patrick Harris, who played a heterosexual male on the sitcom &#8220;How I Met Your Mother,&#8221; has also said that straight men should be allowed to play gay roles.
&#8220;I&#8217;m not one to jump on to labeling.
