Tech mogul and top Trump ally Elon Musk said he is suing former Rep. Jamaal Bowman on Friday after Bowman called Musk a “nazi” on CNN.
Musk replied to a post on X Friday night, saying he has “had enough” in response to a video of the former New York congressman criticizing Musk and calling him a “thief” and a “nazi.”
“Lawsuit inbound,” Musk said.

Bowman on CNN attacked Musk’s work with President Donald Trump. Musk has been a top ally in Trump’s push to restructure and shrink the federal bureaucracy. The Department of Government Efficiency, an idea originally suggested by Musk, has worked with agencies and departments across the federal government to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse from their operations and priorities.
Bowman said Thursday on CNN that the “American people do not trust Elon Musk” because Musk is “incompetent.”
“This shows again that the American people do not trust Elon Musk, and that Elon Musk is incompetent in his position. And how do we know? Because they fired tens of thousands of people, was challenged in court, the court said the people have to go back, and now the people are coming back. He’s incompetent, he’s a thief, he’s a nazi, and people don’t trust him,” Bowman said.
Bowman’s comments come as Musk’s electric car company, Tesla, is being targeted across the country by vandals. Americans who have bought Teslas and otherwise have no obvious ties to the company have been targeted over a perception of support for Musk.
At least 10 Tesla factories, facilities, and charging stations have been <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/elon-musk/tesla-vandalism-not-coordinated-trump-musk-claims-rcna197369" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hit</a> by vandals in recent weeks as backlash against Musk grows over his close relationship with Trump. Some of the attacks have included setting Tesla vehicles on fire.
One anonymously-created website <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/internet/tesla-dogequest-website-owner-list-dox-site-link-rcna197112" target="_blank" rel="noopener">listed</a> the personal information of Tesla drivers in an apparent attempt to drive vandals toward Tesla owners.
“Encouraging destruction of Teslas throughout the country is extreme domestic terrorism!!” Musk posted on <a href="https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1902084259197939834" target="_blank" rel="noopener">X</a> this week.
Tesla’s stock price has tumbled significantly amid the wave of attacks on the car manufacturer. The car manufacturer’s stock price problems have been cheered by Democrats, including former vice presidential candidate Tim Walz.
“Some of you know this. On the iPhone, they’ve got that little stock app. I added Tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day – $225 and dropping,” Walz <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tim-walz-cheers-tesla-stock-tumble-mn-state-employees-pension-owns-over-1m-shares" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> during a town hall in Wisconsin this week. “And if you own one, we’re not blaming you. You can take dental floss and pull the Tesla thing off.”
Bowman lost a reelection bid in 2024 in a Democratic primary against Rep. George Latimer, who challenged Bowman over his anti-Israel stance.

Outgoing Rep. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jamaal-bowman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jamaal Bowman</a> (D-NY) insisted on Monday that President Joe Biden&#8217;s oft-repeated promise not to pardon his embattled son Hunter Biden was not &#8220;a lie&#8221; — despite the fact that on Sunday, Biden issued just such a pardon.
Bowman, who aligns with the far-left &#8220;Squad&#8221; members like Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), was defeated in his 2024 Democratic primary and is best known for pulling a fire alarm — to stall a vote — and then lying about it.
He joined a CNN panel discussion on Monday evening to talk about Biden&#8217;s sweeping pardon — which covered any and all federal crimes, charged or not, that Hunter may have committed over an 11-year period.
Despite an NBC report suggesting that the pardon had always been part of the plan — as had Biden&#8217;s outward dishonesty — Bowman&#8217;s assessment of the situation was that the pardon had only come about because of a change in &#8220;context&#8221;: President-elect Donald Trump&#8217;s decisive victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.

Former Rep. Scott Taylor (R-VA) noted that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/special-counsel-opposes-request-to-dismiss-hunter-indictment-after-pardon" target="_blank" rel="noopener">even the prosecutor</a> in Hunter Biden&#8217;s case — which was brought by Joe Biden&#8217;s own Justice Department — said it was not a political prosecution as Biden had claimed.
According to NBC News&#8217; <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/joe-biden/joe-biden-issue-pardon-son-hunter-biden-rcna182369" target="_blank" rel="noopener">initial report</a> on the pardon, however, if there was a change in &#8220;context&#8221; that impacted the president&#8217;s decision, it was not Trump&#8217;s re-election, but Hunter&#8217;s conviction. That, as NBC reported, was also when the administration sanctioned a conscious effort on the parts of Biden and his media surrogates to lie to the people about it.

Each of the three films had a different director attached, leading to fans saying they didn’t feel like a cohesive story was being told. 
Despite Bowman’s demand to have a black actor play the lead role, multiple outlets are reporting that Henry Cavill is in talks to star in the new trilogy, though no official casting decisions have been announced yet.
Several Disney films have featured different races and ethnicities in roles that originally had white leads. Some examples include the upcoming live-action “Snow White” starring Rachel Zegler and actress Halle Bailey playing Ariel in “The Little Mermaid” (2023).
Bowman is a leftist activist who was charged late last year with pulling a fire alarm in Congress. He’s also a member of what’s commonly referred to as “The Squad” — a group of far-left lawmakers that includes Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Cori Bush (D-MO), and others. Galvanized by Rep. Cori Bush’s (D-MO) primary defeat, Minnesota Republicans are mounting an eleventh-hour campaign to make Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) the latest “Squad” member to lose her job.
Minnesota voters will decide Omar’s fate in Tuesday’s primary, in which she will face off against three Democratic challengers. Minnesota allows voters to participate in the primary of their choice, regardless of party affiliation. Since Republican candidate Dalia Al-Aqidi is <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/fight-between-good-and-evil-muslim-journalist-running-against-ilhan-omar-says-shes-taking-a-stand-for-israel">running unopposed</a>, there is a push for Minnesota Republicans to vote for one of Omar’s challengers.
The last-minute push—word of which is <a href="https://x.com/StopAntisemites/status/1821362204144279835">largely</a> <a href="https://x.com/MarinaMedvin/status/1821315707302269111">being</a> <a href="https://x.com/iamBrianBJ/status/1821027997341605973">spread</a> on X—comes after two of Omar’s fellow Squad members had significant upsets in their Democratic primaries this year. Bush lost her primary last week, and Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) lost in June. Bush and Bowman’s increasingly anti-Israel rhetoric is widely seen to have alienated voters.
Don Samuels, who came within 2,500 votes of <a href="https://ballotpedia.org/Minnesota%27s_5th_Congressional_District_election,_2022">defeating</a> Omar in 2022, is once again her top challenger.
Before running for Congress, Samuels was a Minneapolis City Councilman and Minneapolis School Board member. The Jamaican-born Samuels holds more pro-Israel views than Omar, who has faced criticism for her anti-Semitic and anti-Israel rhetoric since assuming office in 2019. Omar has been embroiled in controversy for ramping up that rhetoric in the wake of  Hamas’s  October 7 massacre of over 1,000 Israelis.
In April, Samuels attacked Omar for voting against bipartisan legislation aimed at curbing Iran, which had near-unanimous support from Democrats.

Samuels echoes mainstream Democratic positions on Israel and the Gaza War. On <a href="https://www.donsamuels.com/issues/middle-east/">his website</a>, he calls for Hamas to return hostages and lose its governing power in Gaza, but also for Israel to halt construction of new settlements and work towards a two-state solution.
Hoping to put a wider margin between herself and Samuels, Omar has boosted her fundraising efforts, reporting approximately $6.2 million in her pre-primary financial disclosure, according to <a href="https://apnews.com/article/minnesota-primary-senate-house-omar-ccc166cf0b9c42fb9dbb98ba0d35c258">the Associated Press</a>. Samuels has raised around $1.4 million. 
Bush and Bowman attribute their losses to the United Democracy Project, a super PAC affiliated with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) which spent at least <a href="https://forward.com/fast-forward/641967/ilhan-omar-cori-bush-aipac-israel/">$24 million</a> to oust them.

A disgruntled Bush attacked the groups in her concession speech, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/they-need-to-be-afraid-cori-bush-responds-to-primary-ouster-by-threatening-pro-israel-group">saying</a> “AIPAC, I’m coming to tear your kingdom down.”
The United Democracy Project has not gotten involved in Omar’s race. In a Wednesday interview with the Forward, Samuels said he thinks AIPAC  is “missing an opportunity.&#8221;
A <a href="https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/house/2024/minnesota/5/">July poll</a> shows Omar leading Samuels by 27 points. An internal poll released by the Samuels campaign showed him slightly trailing Omar with over 20 percent of voters still undecided.

Members of the far-left “Squad” threw their support behind Tim Walz shortly after Vice President Kamala Harris tapped the Minnesota governor as her running mate.
Walz on Tuesday racked up endorsements from Democratic Reps. Ilhan Omar (MN), Jamaal Bowman (NY), and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY). The trio share Walz’s progressive positions on a number of issues, including illegal immigration and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
The “Squad’s” swift embrace of Walz could cause problems for the Harris campaign. Rep. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/alexandria-ocasio-cortez" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez</a> (D-NY) fumed after Rep. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jamaal-bowman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jamaal Bowman</a> (D-NY), a fellow far-Left member of &#8220;The Squad,&#8221; lost his primary race this week following his full on embrace of anti-Semitism following Hamas&#8217; October 7 massacre.
Ocasio-Cortez, who has an extensive history of palling around with anti-Semites like Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN), campaigned for Bowman in the days prior to his blowout loss.
&#8220;This was about $20 million in big money being spent in a historic sum, unlike any seen in American history, point blank period,&#8221; AOC told reporters when asked if Democrat leadership could have done more to support Bowman. &#8220;And I think we need to have a real conversation about AIPAC. I think that what we do need to have [is] a real conversation about is how a Republican, primarily Republican and largely Republican financed organization is playing and dumping money and playing an extremely divisive role in the Democratic Party.&#8221;
AIPAC is not right-wing, conservative, or a Republican organization and it has long given money to candidates on both sides of the aisle.
&#8220;And by the way, it makes it much harder for us to coalition build and to create the winning coalitions that not just can ensure that we have representation at the congressional level,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;But they are spending this money into our party for a reason, because we need that coalition to win back House majorities. We need that energy and coalition of a progressive base in order to make sure that we win statewide and federally, and Republicans are pouring money to finance these for a reason because people and representatives like Jamaal Bowman can move and reach communities that many other areas of the Democratic Party cannot.&#8221;
&#8220;And so if Republicans can finance taking people like that off the board, they can also make it easier for themselves in November,&#8221; she concluded. &#8220;And so I think for all of us as a party, regardless of your stances, it&#8217;s very important that we have a conversation about why Republicans are playing such a large role in financing division and among Democrats.&#8221;

At no point during her response did she ever address the actual question and she never disavowed herself from blatant anti-Semitic remarks that Bowman made, including his denials of the October 7 massacre.
Ocasio-Cortez also did not seem to understand that Bowman lost to a liberal Democrat, 70-year-old George Latimer, not a Republican.
Ocasio-Cortez did not respond to a request for comment from The Daily Wire about whether she had a problem with the Democrat Party&#8217;s decision to <a href="https://www.axios.com/2022/09/18/democratic-meddling-results-republican-primaries">meddle</a> in Republican Party primaries in the 2022 midterms.

Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) in Tuesday&#8217;s primary election — and Jeffries&#8217; spokesperson fired right back.
Bowman, who leaned into the anti-Israel protests after October 7th and was backed by other far-Left members of Congress like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/far-left-democrat-jamaal-bowman-loses-primary-after-becoming-full-scale-anti-semite" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lost to George Latimer</a> by 17 points.
According to New York&#8217;s Democratic Party Chair Jay Jacobs, the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/06/26/nyregion/jamaal-bowman-squad-left.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reason for Bowman&#8217;s loss</a> was simple: &#8220;The voters in this district, and in other districts across the country, frankly, are just not buying some of the things that these candidates are selling. And now, moderate voters are getting engaged, they’re paying attention and they’re coming to the polls.&#8221;
But Usamah Andrabi, a spokesman for Justice Democrats, told The New York Times that the real problem was Jeffries — in spite of the fact that he had endorsed Bowman ahead of the primary.
&#8220;Jamaal Bowman is a model, not a warning, for what political leadership can look like,&#8221; he said. &#8220;The outcome of this election is a reflection on his leadership and whether Hakeem Jeffries stood up to Republican megadonors.&#8221;
Jeffries&#8217; spokeswoman Christie Stephenson fired right back, arguing that her boss&#8217; tenure would be judged based on whether he delivered a majority in the House in November. &#8220;The so-called Justice Democrats stated back in 2017 that their goal was to destroy the Democratic Party,&#8221; she said, noting that they had even threatened to primary Jeffries. “They have failed miserably in every way. Is anyone surprised?&#8221;

Bowman is not the only Squad-adjacent Democrat whose House seat is in jeopardy. Rep. Representative Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) got trounced in his primary on Tuesday, but he is not the only &#8220;Squad&#8221; member facing the chopping block this primary season.
Representative Cori Bush (D-MO) is locked in a dead heat with her primary challenger, St. Louis County prosecuting attorney Wesley Bell, ahead of their August 6 election, according to one poll.
Bush, who represents the St. Louis area, is polling at 42%, one point lower than Bell at 43%, <a href="https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4740969-cori-bush-challenger-wesley-bell-locked-in-dead-heat-survey/damp/?nxs-test=damp" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to polling from The Mellman Group for the organization Democratic Majority for Israel, which endorsed Bell.
This is a significant drop for Bush from January, when the same polling firm found her leading by 16 points.
In the more recent poll, Bell&#8217;s lead is within the margin of error, but some indicators suggest he may have a greater advantage.
He is leading Bush by 10 points among the most consistent primary voters — 49% to Bush&#8217;s 39%, according to the poll.
He also leads Bush in job approval, with 61% saying they approve of Bell&#8217;s job performance compared to just 49% for Bush.
Bell also has an edge in favorability, with 64% of voters viewing him favorably compared to Bush&#8217;s 60%.
In New York on Tuesday night, Bowman lost his Democratic primary to George Latimer, who served as County Executive for Westchester County.
Bowman&#8217;s ousting marked the first election loss for the group of progressive House lawmakers nicknamed the &#8220;Squad,&#8221; which includes Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Bowman&#8217;s primary involved fiery attacks by the two Democrats, with Latimer criticizing Bowman&#8217;s opposition to Israel’s war in Gaza as being out of sync with voters in his district, which includes Westchester County&#8217;s Jewish population.
Meanwhile, Bowman <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/06/25/politics/george-latimer-jamaal-bowman-new-york-16-primary/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">was</a> forced to apologize for telling a group of pro-Palestinian protesters that reports of sexual violence by Hamas were &#8220;propaganda.&#8221;
Latimer also said Bowman, the first black man to represent his district, enjoys “an obvious ethnic benefit.”

Like Bowman, Bush has been vocal in her criticism of Israel for the war in Gaza and has <a href="https://bush.house.gov/media/press-releases/congresswoman-bush-statement-on-st-louis-board-of-aldermens-unanimous-passage-of-resolution-calling-for-ceasefire-in-gaza" target="_blank" rel="noopener">called</a> for a cease-fire.
Meanwhile, Bell&#8217;s campaign website says he believes Israel has the right to defend itself.
&#8220;Israel — the only democracy and strongest American ally in the Middle East — was attacked by terrorists on October 7,&#8221; Bell&#8217;s website <a href="https://www.bell4mo.com/issues/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reads</a>. &#8220;I believe Israel has the right to defend itself and go after those who perpetrated those attacks. In Congress, I’ll fight to make sure the United States remains Israel’s strongest ally.&#8221;
The &#8220;Squad&#8221; members made headlines when they were first elected for ousting members of Congress who had held their seats for a decade or longer.

During a debate earlier this month, Latimer <a href="https://x.com/metzgov/status/1800336747404157042" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cast</a> Bowman as someone who did not prioritize the interests of his district in the Bronx and Westchester County with a diverse population.
“When you get as much money as you get from outside the district, your constituency is Dearborn, Michigan. Your constituency is San Francisco, California,&#8221; Latimer said.

CNN host Abby Phillip asked Latimer to address his remark during a <a href="https://www.mediaite.com/tv/abby-phillip-grills-george-latimer-over-islamophobic-remarks-following-victory-over-jamaal-bowman/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CNN</a> interview after his campaign, <a href="https://www.axios.com/2024/06/26/democrats-aipac-jamaal-bowman-george-latimer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">backed by pro-Israel groups,</a> was projected to win in New York&#8217;s 16th Congressional District.
&#8220;It’s not a dogwhistle of anything. He had a major fundraiser in California. He raised more money in California in the last report than he made from New York,&#8221; Latimer said.
He also noted that Bowman and fellow Israel critic Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), whose district includes Dearborn, <a href="https://forward.com/news/584118/jamaal-bowman-rashida-tlaib-israel-hamas/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">formed</a> a joint fundraising committee earlier this year.

Latimer added later that &#8220;it is clear that he raised money more in proportion outside the district from a nationwide network of donors that included people from those locations and others.&#8221;
Bowman&#8217;s decision to give props to the Muslim communities in places such as San Francisco and Dearborn during his concession speech also drew some backlash on social media.
&#8220;He hates that Jews in his own district live in tight-knit communities but Muslim communities in other parts of the country are praiseworthy,&#8221; <a href="https://x.com/philipaklein/status/1805933901984022574" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> National Review Online Editor Phillip Klein.

Far-left Rep. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jamaal-bowman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jamaal Bowman</a> (D-NY) lost his primary race against moderate Westchester County executive George Latimer on Tuesday after the party pushed to oust him following his move to become a radical anti-Semite.
With just over half of the votes counted, the Associated Press called the race for Latimer, saying that he was up 55% to 45%.
Bowman, who was charged late last year with pulling a fire alarm in Congress, becomes the first member of &#8220;The Squad&#8221; — a group of far-left lawmakers that includes Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Cori Bush (D-MO), and more — to be voted out of Congress.
Backlash against Bowman was so intense that the primary race became the most expensive House primary in U.S. history, with approximately $25 million spent in advertising, according to <a href="https://www.wsj.com/politics/elections/rep-jamaal-bowman-democratic-primary-race-aipac-090fe2c6">The Wall Street Journal</a>.
Bowman denied many of the atrocities that took place during the October 7 massacre, falsely claiming that reports of mass rape and babies being beheaded was Israeli &#8220;propaganda.&#8221; He also refused to condemn Hamas&#8217; terrorist attack because he <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/democrat-jamaal-bowman-leans-hard-into-anti-semitism-as-poll-shows-him-getting-blown-out-in-primary" target="_blank" rel="noopener">disagreed</a> with calling the attack &#8220;unprovoked.&#8221;

According to a recent report, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jamaal-bowman-reportedly-asked-local-jewish-leader-for-photo-show-the-world-im-friends-with-jewish-people" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bowman</a> allegedly texted a Jewish leader in his district and asked for a photo of them together, explaining that he wanted to &#8220;show the world I&#8217;m friends with Jewish people.&#8221;
The Jewish leader, reportedly made uncomfortable by the request, opted not to send the photo: &#8220;I was uncomfortable. I kind of joked around with him about it. I said, &#8216;Oh, I’m sure you guys have it. Don’t worry about it.&#8217; I was like, &#8216;I don’t want to be his court Jew.&#8217; That wasn’t what I signed up for.&#8221;
