ICE arrested on Tuesday an illegal alien who raped and sodomized his 9-year-old stepdaughter, the agency told The Daily Wire.
The Department of Homeland Security released the names of five more criminal illegal aliens, whom it referred to as “the worst of the worst.” The arrests came as the Trump administration has ramped up deportation efforts, and ICE has faced protests from Democratic lawmakers and leftist activists.
One of the men arrested was Michael Kabiona, an illegal alien from the Democratic Republic of the Congo who was convicted of sexual conduct against a child.
“Thanks to ICE, this depraved pedophile is not in our communities to hurt and victimize more children,” Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told The Daily Wire. “It’s disgusting that ICE law enforcement is experiencing a 1000% increase in assaults against them while they are removing creeps like this who commit unforgivable crimes against children. Our ICE agents are heroes, end of story.”
Kabiona was convicted in 2015 for raping and sodomizing his 9-year-old stepdaughter over a two-year period, <a href="https://www4.erie.gov/da/sites/www4.erie.gov.da/files/archive/index.php-2352.html?q=pedophilic-rapist-convicted-after-trial" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to Erie County, New York, prosecutors. He was sentenced to just 12 years in prison, much less than the maximum 25 years he faced.
Kabiona was convicted after testimony from the young girl whom he victimized. The victim was left with chronic injuries to her genitalia. He first came to America as a refugee, his lawyer <a href="https://buffalonews.com/news/local/buffalo-man-gets-12-years-for-sexually-assaulting-child/article_d4c24671-f7c2-5f45-85b0-5243c01d74b8.html">said</a> after the trial, claiming that the whole incident was a “shame” because  Kabiona “fought for so long to get here from a war-torn country.”

ICE also announced the arrest of 41-year-old Lorentino Martinez-Tejeda, an illegal alien from Mexico who was convicted of predatory criminal sexual assault on a minor in McHenry County, Illinois. Martinez-Tejeda <a href="https://www.mchenrycountyil.gov/Home/Components/News/News/14873/11527?arch=1&amp;npage=21">pled guilty</a> to sexually assaulting a victim under the age of 13 and was sentenced to eight years in prison.
Another illegal alien picked up by ICE was 36-year-old Nidia Tanya Quistian-Nino of Mexico, who was convicted of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in Warton County, Texas.
The agency also picked up 51-year-old Francisco Antonio Villalobos, an illegal alien from El Salvador, convicted of kidnapping in Urbana, Illinois.

In a video posted to X, Cain reminded his followers that he was already &#8220;a sworn law enforcement officer&#8221; and had determined that saddling up with ICE was the best way for him to continue serving and protecting the people of the United States.

Cain informed his audience of the pay and benefits afforded new agents — including a $50,000 signing bonus recently announced by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem — and encouraged them to think about what they could do to help protect American citizens.
&#8220;Since President Trump took office, ICE has arrested hundreds of thousands of criminals, including terrorists, rapists, murderers, pedophiles, MS-13 gang members, drug traffickers, you name it — very dangerous people who are no longer on the streets,&#8221; he continued.
&#8220;So if you want to help save America, ICE is arresting the worst of the worst and removing them from America’s streets. I like that. I voted for that. They need your help, we need your help, to protect our homeland and our families. So check into it and join today if it’s something that tickles your fancy because we can use you,&#8221; Cain added. He also noted that there was no college degree requirement for ICE agents, meaning that many who wanted to join up would most likely be able to start work immediately.
Cain talked about his decision with Fox News host Jesse Watters on Wednesday&#8217;s broadcast of &#8220;Jesse Watters Primetime,&#8221; where he explained to Watters that he wasn&#8217;t entirely sure yet what his actual duties might entail.
&#8220;I will do whatever Director [Todd] Lyons wants me to do,&#8221; he declared when asked whether he&#8217;d be one of the agents jumping out of vans to apprehend criminals in the streets. &#8220;If that&#8217;s what it takes, absolutely. I somehow doubt I&#8217;ll be in that position, but I would be there in a heartbeat.&#8221;
&#8220;These brave men and women need someone to stand up for them, so rarely these days are we seeing that,&#8221; he said.

WASHINGTON—The Department of Homeland Security is renewing its calls for Americans to join ICE following the arrest of more criminal illegal aliens, including murderers, sexual predators, and pedophiles, The Daily Wire can first report.
Among those arrested Monday were Israel Cobian-Sandoval, convicted of homicide in Chicago; Rey Bautista-Osorio, convicted of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to ill/cause serious injury in North Carolina; Edgar Allan Becerril, convicted of aggravated assault of a child and six counts of sexual assault of a child in Texas; Kevin Sosa-Ayala, convicted of statutory rape in Tennessee; and Simon Torres-De Leon, convicted of rape in Ohio.
“Murderers. Pedophiles. Rapists. These are the dirtbags ICE is arresting and removing from our country,” Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin told The Daily Wire. “We are delivering on President Trump’s promise to remove the worst of the worst. Serve your country today by signing up to join ICE and help us get these dirtbags out of our country.”

All the criminal illegal aliens arrested this week are from Mexico, DHS told The Daily Wire, except for Sosa-Ayala, who is from Honduras.
In the wake of these arrests, DHS urged “patriotic Americans” to join ICE and help to “remove more of these barbaric criminals.” The agency is recruiting ICE agents through messaging that mirrors that of military recruitments in the past, featuring a photo of a stern-looking Uncle Sam looking the viewer in the eye and telling them: “America needs YOU!”
“America has been invaded by criminals and predators,” the ICE recruiting website says. “We need YOU to get them out.”
Many top Trump administration officials have promoted the ICE recruiting information, notably the president’s Deputy Chief of Staff for policy, Stephen Miller. The messaging is designed to appeal to Americans of all backgrounds, with lines like: “Serve your country! Defend your culture! No undergraduate degree required!”

ICE promises that those who join may be entitled to up to a $50,000 signing bonus, $60,000 student loan repayment, 25% premium pay, and more. The agency is looking for deportation officers, criminal investigators, general attorneys, and more.
“ICE is looking for individuals with integrity and courage,” the recruitment website states. “ICE is interested in hiring law enforcement personnel who aspire to the highest standards of performance, professionalism, and leadership. Deportation officers and special agents must be in excellent physical condition, able to tolerate environmental stresses and have strong critical thinking skills.”

Democratic Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass immediately declared victory when reports began to circulate that more than 1,000 U.S. troops were being pulled back from her city, but it was Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth who got the last word.
Bass shared a New York Times article <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2025/07/31/us/troop-withdrawal-los-angeles.html">reporting</a> the imminent drawdown of 1,350 American service members — who were initially deployed to the California city to protect federal personnel and property as violent protests and riots threatened the work and safety of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents — and added her own comment.

Hegseth responded to Bass, explaining that the troops were only leaving Los Angeles because the situation was finally under control — which it certainly was not when they had first arrived — and they were able to redeploy elsewhere having completed a successful mission in her city despite her unwillingness to help.

Topline: The U.S. economy grew at a much faster-than-expected 3% pace last quarter, but the Federal Reserve on Wednesday opted to hold interest rates steady for the fifth consecutive meeting, defying pressure from President Trump.
On Wednesday, the Commerce Department announced that the U.S. GDP grew by 3% in the second quarter, significantly beating economists&#8217; predictions of 2.3% and marking a major turnaround from the first quarter’s contraction. The strong report, which also showed a nearly 1.5% rise in consumer spending and an increase in consumer confidence, indicates that American businesses and consumers have weathered fears over Trump’s trade reset. National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett called it &#8220;one of the best GDP announcements &#8230; you could imagine because there&#8217;s blockbuster growth &#8230; and there&#8217;s also a real, real almost collapse in inflation.&#8221; 
Despite the positive economic data and low inflation, the Federal Reserve chose to hold its benchmark interest rate in the 4.25% to 4.5% range. Fed Chair Jerome Powell said that while the economy is in a &#8220;solid position,&#8221; inflation is still &#8220;running somewhat above our 2 percent long run objective.&#8221; In a rare public dissent, two Fed Governors, Christopher Waller and Michelle Bowman, voted in favor of rate cuts.
President Trump, who has been publicly pleading for a rate cut, blasted Powell’s decision. &#8220;2Q GDP JUST OUT: 3%, WAY BETTER THAN EXPECTED! &#8216;Too Late&#8217;… MUST NOW LOWER THE RATE,&#8221; Trump wrote on Truth Social, adding that high rates are &#8220;hurting people from buying houses.&#8221; That claim was supported by new data showing that pending home sales fell by nearly 1% in June, hitting their lowest pace in nine months.

Topline: The Trump administration’s Environmental Protection Agency has proposed repealing the 2009 “endangerment finding,” a move that would dismantle the legal basis for regulating greenhouse gases and effectively end federal climate change policy.
The endangerment finding, established by the Obama administration, determined that greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide endanger human health by contributing to climate change, which allowed them to be regulated under the Clean Air Act. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said that repealing the finding &#8220;will be the largest deregulatory action in the history of America.&#8221; The administration argues that CO2 is a naturally occurring gas with no direct toxicological effects at ambient levels, unlike the pollutants the Clean Air Act was designed to address.
According to Zeldin, recent Supreme Court decisions that overturned the Chevron doctrine and limited the EPA’s authority would likely prevent a future administration from unilaterally reinstating the finding without a new act of Congress.
The move aligns with President Trump’s broader energy agenda. While in Scotland earlier this week, the president outlined a new test for energy sources: &#8220;energy should not need subsidy.&#8221; He used this to dismiss wind power, stating, &#8220;wind doesn’t work,&#8221; and vowed that the United States would not build a single additional wind turbine under his administration.

This week, DHS unveiled a new website encouraging Americans to &#8220;choose your mission&#8221; and apply for roles as a deportation officer, criminal investigator, or general attorney. The campaign slams the prior administration’s &#8220;disastrous immigration policies&#8221; and reaffirms President Trump’s commitment to law enforcement professionals. In a post on X, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin called on Americans to join ICE to remove terrorists, pedophiles, and gang members from the country.
The recruitment push is funded by the &#8220;Big Beautiful Bill,&#8221; which allocated over $165 billion to DHS, with $75 billion specifically earmarked for ICE on top of its existing budget. Of that sum, $30 billion will go toward hiring, training, and retaining new agents. The new funding allows ICE to offer lucrative sign-on bonuses of up to $50,000 for certain agents.

The Trump administration has set a new monthly record for criminal prosecution of illegal aliens in June, as it utilizes a powerful tool in its multi-agency approach to crack down on illegal immigration.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) brought cases against more than 3,000 illegal aliens last month, charging the foreign nationals with illegal reentry, a new <a href="https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2025/jul/28/trump-sets-new-record-criminal-prosecutions-illegal-immigrants/">report</a> indicates. The charge can be brought against illegal aliens who reenter the United States after having been previously deported back to their country of origin. DOJ prosecutors brought an additional 3,200 cases against illegal aliens for illegal entry.
The decision to criminally prosecute thousands of illegal aliens is part of the administration’s “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/how-trump-sealed-the-border-in-his-first-100-days">whole of government</a>” approach to curtailing illegal immigration. The DOJ asserted that it is “using all available investigative and prosecutorial tools” in the effort to fight the “invasion of illegal immigration.”
Jonathan Fahey, former assistant U.S. attorney in Virginia and the acting director at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in President Trump’s first term, explained that the cases almost always end in a conviction. Prosecutors are tasked with proving that the illegal alien has previously been deported, but is currently present in the United States despite the prior deportation.
“They’re a great way to get a conviction, a great way to get a criminal off the street, and a great way to remove them from the country in an expeditious way,” Fahey noted.
While cases have been brought against illegal aliens in states across the country, the increase in prosecutions has been particularly notable in New Mexico. Authorities in the state brought forward 245 cases in May and another 277 in June, marking more than a 100 percent increase since late 2024, when fewer than 100 cases were brought forward each month.
The cases are one more way that the Trump administration has discouraged illegal immigration and encouraged illegal aliens currently present in the United States to self-deport back to their country of origin.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested more than 200 illegal alien child sex offenders in the Houston area in just the last six months, capturing more of the heinous criminals than were arrested in the entirety of the 2024 fiscal year.
A whopping 214 illegal aliens charged or convicted of engaging in sexual conduct with minors have been arrested by ICE in the Houston area, with the federal agency attributing its success to the whole-of-government effort to crack down on illegal immigration.
“Bringing together the resources and expertise of the entire federal law enforcement community to confront the overwhelming surge of illegal immigration that we saw over the past four years has resulted in the arrest and removal of historic numbers of violent criminal aliens, transnational gang members and child sex offenders,” ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Houston acting Field Office Director Paul McBride charged.
Among the illegal alien sex offenders captured by ICE is thrice-deported Mexican national Jesus Gutierrez Mireles, a 67-year-old with convictions for aggravated sexual assault of a child and driving while intoxicated. There’s also 48-year-old Mexican national Jose Zebra, who was convicted of two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a minor and sexual indecency with a minor.
Twice-deported 37-year-old Salvadoran national Manuel Antonio Castro-Juarez was convicted of sexual assault of a minor and illegal entry, while 40-year-old Mexican national and four-time deportee Jose Guadalupe Meza has convictions for theft and sexual assault of a child.
Among the 214 illegal alien child sex criminals is Mexican national Sergio Rolando Galvan Guerrero, who has been deported three times and was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
“While we still have a long way to go to truly get this crisis under control, the strides we have made in just six months to make our local communities safer are substantial, and our officers continue to work tirelessly every day to get the worst of the worst criminal aliens out of Southeast Texas to return our communities to places we can all enjoy,” McBride noted.
Agents in Houston have captured scores of illegal alien criminals since President Trump took office in January, with <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/plane-hijacker-child-predators-murderers-ice-nabs-more-than-1300-illegals-in-houston">more tha</a>n 1,300 illegal aliens being captured in the area in June alone.

Two medical center employees were arrested and charged with federal crimes after they allegedly assaulted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents while attempting to prevent them from capturing an illegal alien who was hiding there.

The Trump administration has reportedly located over 13,000 children who entered the United States unaccompanied and illegally before being lost to government tracking systems.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement under President Donald Trump has arrested more than 400 sponsors of unaccompanied minors for crimes related to mistreatment of the children in their care or for other reasons, a Health and Human Services official told <a href="https://www.newsnationnow.com/us-news/immigration/border-coverage/unaccompanied-migrant-minors-located-hhs/">NewsNation</a>.
Over 300,000 unaccompanied minors flooded into the United States under former President Joe Biden and were then lost to government officials, according to the Department of Homeland Security’s <a href="https://www.oig.dhs.gov/sites/default/files/assets/2024-08/OIG-24-46-Aug24.pdf">Office of Inspector General</a>.
The Trump administration has directed U.S. Customs and Border officials to begin asking older unaccompanied minors between the ages of 14 and 17 if they would like to self-deport back to their home countries. If they answer affirmatively, they are turned over to either ICE or HHS to begin deportation proceedings, according to <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2025/07/23/politics/migrant-kids-self-deport?cid=ios_app">CNN</a>.
The current practice is not new, but an expanded form of what federal agents had been offering unaccompanied minors before. The offer had been limited to self-deporting to either Mexico or Canada before.
“This is a long-standing practice that was used by previous administrations to prioritize getting children back to the safety of a parent or legal guardian in their home country. The policy of offering unaccompanied alien children (UACs) the option to withdraw their application for admission into the U.S. is accredited in the Trafficking Victims Prevention and Protection Reauthorization Act of 2022,” a Homeland Security official told CNN.
“The only change pursuant to the Big Beautiful Bill is expanding this option to return home to UACs from additional countries beyond Mexico and Canada,” the official added.
Trump revealed earlier this month that his administration had located 10,000 of the missing, unaccompanied minors.
“Something that you should have that you haven&#8217;t reported – as you know, 300,000 children are missing, 300,000 under Biden. We&#8217;ve already gotten back 10,000, and we have a lot more planned to get back. We’re getting them back by the thousands,” Trump said on July 11.

Trump Admin Locates 13,000 Unaccompanied Minors, Arrests Hundreds Of Sponsors: Report

An illegal alien from Senegal attacked multiple ICE officers last week after he was detained in New York City, the Department of Homeland Security told The Daily Wire. 
The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York on Thursday announced charges against Bass Ndiaye for allegedly assaulting ICE officers and about one dozen other detainees on July 18 with a pair of scissors. Ndiaye faces one count of assaulting an officer of the United States using a deadly or dangerous weapon. 
“This criminal illegal alien, who released into the country under President Biden, will face justice for his violent crimes,” Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told The Daily Wire. “Our ICE law enforcement are facing an 830% increase in assaults against them. Secretary [Kristi] Noem stands with the brave men and women of law enforcement as they risk their lives to remove criminal illegal aliens and protect Americans.”
Ndiaye was first arrested on July 17 in New York, where he was taken to the 26 Federal Plaza immigration center in Manhattan for processing. The stabbing incident occurred the next day and the ICE officers were able to disarm Ndiaye, the Department of Homeland Security said
Ndiaye illegally crossed the border on October 22, 2023, when he was arrested by Border Patrol. He was then released into the country by the Biden administration. He could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted. 
In recent months, ICE officers and Border Patrol officials have faced increased attacks and hostility. 
Over the weekend, an off-duty Border Patrol officer <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/suspect-in-shooting-of-border-patrol-officer-released-under-biden-dhs-says">was shot</a> during an attempted burglary in Manhattan. Both suspects are illegal aliens with extensive criminal histories. 
“These violent thugs have committed a smorgasbord of crimes and been arrested multiple times and yet New York continued to release them, ignore an ICE detainer and allow them to continue to prey on Americans and terrorize our streets,” McLaughlin said. “How many people have to die, how many lives have to be changed forever for Mayor [Eric] Adams and his sanctuary politician ilk to end these performative politics?”

“What the mayor is doing to this city is shameful. What he needs to do is participate with us and make sure that he is helping us enforce the rule of law,” Noem said of the Democrat mayor, also accusing him of playing politics and “risking people’s lives.”

The DHS Secretary also told The Daily Wire that she blames the rhetoric of liberal politicians and leftist organizations for the rise in assaults against ICE officers.
“It’s the rhetoric of elected officials, of leaders, of leftist organizations and the media. When they don’t tell the truth, there’s consequences to that,” Noem said. “When they don’t talk about the facts of what’s happening out on our streets and what the American people need, then it gets distorted and the information is used in a way that can undermine what the rule of law is.”
