Throwing yet another twist into the ongoing situation stemming from a &#8220;F*** the Jews&#8221; sign that was spotted at Barstool Sansom Street, a sports bar in Center City Philadelphia, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy announced that one of the patrons who initially took responsibility for the incident had backtracked.
Taking to X to deliver the follow up, Portnoy said that Mo Kahn — one of the two people he spoke to who had said on Sunday that they were behind the sign — had taken to social media to write a lengthy post disavowing any and all connection to it. Instead, he said that he had simply shared video of something that happened at the bar while he was there.

[He] is basically lawyering up and blaming it all on his friend now and is saying he was just a citizen journalist. It is a 180 from my convo with him yesterday. Portnoy shared a screenshot of Kahn&#8217;s post, showing where he told his followers that he had not been the one who &#8220;paid for or requested that sign,&#8221; and said that his only mistake had been making &#8220;the poor decision to record and upload it.&#8221; He then apologized for anyone whose feelings had been hurt by his post, adding, &#8220;I hope honest and open dialogue can come out of this incident so we can address the deeper realities of the world we live in.&#8221;
The Barstool Sports founder, who had previously spoken to Kahn and one other patron (whose name he did not reveal), said on Sunday that both had taken responsibility for the sign and had subsequently agreed to take a trip to Auschwitz and try to learn something from the experience.
Upon seeing Kahn&#8217;s post, Portnoy called to speak with him again, but this time, he said the conversation was very different. Kahn recorded the call and had his parents with him, and insisted that he&#8217;d had nothing to do with the sign — rather, he said that he&#8217;d felt pressured to take responsibility for it when they spoke the first time.
Portnoy said that Kahn, a 21-year-old Temple University student who has since been suspended, attempted to distance himself from the situation, saying that he would &#8220;never&#8221; do anything like that — but then Portnoy came across an old social media post of Kahn&#8217;s that included an anti-Semitic joke from six months earlier.
&#8220;I&#8217;m like, &#8216;How do you explain that one if you&#8217;re not ever doing anything like that?'&#8221; Portnoy continued. &#8220;He&#8217;s like, &#8216;Well, I really won&#8217;t be able to explain that, maybe my parents can explain that.&#8217; Your parents can explain the &#8216;how you find a Jew, you throw a quarter on the floor&#8217; joke? Not like — I mean, whatever, I&#8217;ve got thick skin. But this kid couldn&#8217;t even — he wouldn&#8217;t even admit he did it. He&#8217;s like, &#8216;That&#8217;s on a social media channel, like, I deleted, I don&#8217;t even have that anymore.'&#8221;
&#8220;Buddy, what are you doing?&#8221; Portnoy asked then, saying that he&#8217;d hoped to be able to turn a bad decision into a teachable moment, but that Kahn&#8217;s 180-degree turn had made him change his mind. &#8220;Maybe if you actually learn a life lesson, maybe if people watch you go to Poland and seem like you&#8217;re changed, this gets behind you.&#8221;
Portnoy concluded by saying that he&#8217;d rescinded his offer to send Kahn to Poland, arguing that if he wasn&#8217;t willing to take responsibility for his actions, he was not ready to learn the kind of lesson that would help him behave differently in the future.

&#8220;All right, real quick update,&#8221; Portnoy began, recalling just how angry he&#8217;d been when he first learned about the sign. &#8220;You literally could have cooked an egg on my head. that&#8217;s how much steam and heat I had coming out of my ears.&#8221;
&#8220;And the more I thought about it, these are young f***ing morons who did this,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;They&#8217;re drunk. It&#8217;s like, do you really want to ruin somebody&#8217;s life — and let me be honest, I don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s going on in the world, well, I do in the Middle Eats obviously, but I&#8217;ve been doing Barstool for 20 years. Portnoy went on to note just how mainstream antisemitism had become, and argued that even though his initial reaction had been to burn them all, he felt that the best way to put a stop to that was ultimately through education.
&#8220;I&#8217;m sending these kids to Auschwitz. They&#8217;ve agreed to go,&#8221; Portnoy said, explaining that he&#8217;d spoken with the families of the people involved. &#8220;That&#8217;s of course the Holocaust concentration camp &#8230; We&#8217;re going to send these kids to Auschwitz and they&#8217;re going to do a tour or the concentration camps in Germany and hopefully learn something, and maybe like their lives aren&#8217;t ruined, they think twice &#8230; to me, that&#8217;s a fair outcome.&#8221;

Nike is getting blasted for its insensitivity in using a phrase associated with the Holocaust only three days after Yom HaShoah, when Jews around the world mark the murder of six million Jews by the Nazis in the Holocaust.
Nike installed signs along the London Marathon route emblazoned, “Never again, until next year.”
“As a Jew living in London, I felt shocked, hurt, and angry to see the use of words in this context, even if no doubt in reference to the temporary pain of running 26 miles,&#8221; retired British judge Nigel Litman <a href="https://www.jpost.com/diaspora/antisemitism/article-851847" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> Walla.
He continued:

“Never Again” is a phrase related to the Holocaust and the murder of six million Jews. It is directed as a prayer to the world that it will not allow such a horror to repeat itself. CBS News host Margaret Brennan faced intense backlash on Sunday after she claimed during an interview with Secretary of State Marco Rubio that &#8220;free speech was weaponized&#8221; to cause the Holocaust.
Brennan made the comment during an interview on &#8220;Face the Nation&#8221; while talking about Vice President JD Vance&#8217;s speech to European leaders last week in which he called them out for abandoning values like free speech.
“He was standing in a country where free speech was weaponized to conduct a genocide,” Brennan said while talking about Vance&#8217;s speech in Munich, Germany.
Brennan was met with instant pushback online over her claim, including from top elected leaders.

CBS News host Margaret Brennan claimed during an interview over the weekend that the Holocaust was caused because free speech was &#8220;weaponized.&#8221;
The left-wing host made the highly controversial remarks during an interview with Secretary of State Marco Rubio while talking about Vice President JD Vance&#8217;s speech in Europe last week where he criticized the continent&#8217;s leaders for abandoning certain values, like free speech.
&#8220;What did all of this accomplish, other than irritating our allies?&#8221; Brennan asked.
&#8220;Why would our allies or anybody be irritated by free speech and by someone giving their opinion?&#8221; Rubio responded. &#8220;We are, after all, democracies. The Munich – Munich Security Conference is largely a conference of democracies, in which one of the things that we cherish and value is the ability to speak freely and provide your opinions.&#8221;
Rubio said that a lot of things that Vance said &#8220;needed to be said&#8221; and that it was perplexing that anyone &#8220;would be upset about it.&#8221;
&#8220;People are allowed – you know, you don&#8217;t have to agree on someone&#8217;s speech,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I happen to agree with a lot of what he said, but you don&#8217;t have to agree with someone&#8217;s speech to at least appreciate the fact they have a right to say it and that you should listen to it and see whether those criticisms are valid.&#8221;
Brennan responded: &#8220;Well, he was standing in a country where free speech was weaponized to conduct a genocide.&#8221;
&#8220;And he met with the head of a political party that has far-right views and some historic ties to extreme groups,&#8221; she claimed. &#8220;The context of that was changing the tone of it. And you know that, that the censorship was specifically about the right.&#8221;
Rubio fired back: &#8220;Well, I have to disagree with you. I have to disagree with you.&#8221;
&#8220;Free speech was not used to conduct a genocide,&#8221; he noted. &#8220;The genocide was conducted by an authoritarian Nazi regime that happened to also be genocidal because they hated Jews and they hated minorities and they hated those that they – they had a list of people they hated, but primarily the Jews.&#8221;
&#8220;There was no free speech in Nazi Germany. There was none,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;There was also no opposition in Nazi Germany. They were a sole and only party that governed that country. So that&#8217;s not an accurate reflection of history.&#8221;

Margaret Brennan Claims ‘Free Speech Was Weaponized’ To Cause The Holocaust

As soon as the first three young female Israeli hostages were finally released from Hamas captivity as part of the latest deal, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) was already <a href="https://www.icrc.org/en/news-release/israel-and-occupied-territories-icrc-helps-facilitate-release-3-hostages-and-90-detainees?utm_source=twitter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lauding themselves</a> for their role in the transfer.
The reality, however, is that the Red Cross utterly and unconscionably abandoned the hostages to the dungeons of Gaza — and now to the preying mobs surrounding them during their release.
In almost 500 days of captivity, under the most horrific of conditions, including torture, starvation, and sexual violence, not once has the Red Cross visited a single hostage or provided any proof of life for their families. The relatives of one of the released captives from November 2023, Elma Avraham, 84, who spent four months in the hospital upon her return, heartbreakingly <a href="https://x.com/N12News/status/1729138757540905130?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">described</a> how the Red Cross refused to even accept the medicine they tried to give them to deliver to their elderly mother in Gaza.
Simply put, the Red Cross’ role has been relegated to no more than that of a glorified Uber driver, ferrying the hostages from Gaza into the hands of the IDF. But they cannot do even that while providing the hostages with even a shred of dignity. Instead, they have aided Hamas in turning the whole release of the hostages — including terrified young girls — into a propaganda circus, with sickening images of Hamas terrorists standing on top of Red Cross vehicles with guns and cameras, while Red Cross officials now routinely <a href="https://x.com/HenMazzig/status/1885780814165688552" target="_blank" rel="noopener">join Hamas on stage</a> in these obscene ceremonies and parades.
One of the released hostages, Gadi Mozes (80), <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/gadi-mozes-tells-family-he-paced-7km-every-day-in-his-2x2-meter-cell/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">described</a> how, at one point during his time in captivity, he was held in a truck right under the offices of the Red Cross in Gaza. Mozes was also in “mortal fear” during the release that he and fellow hostage Arbel Yehoud would be lynched by the frenzied mob around them.
Just this week we witnessed with absolute horror the release of three starved, emaciated male hostages, in scenes, as President Trump himself noted, were unmistakably reminiscent of the Holocaust. These scenes only underscore the chilling effects of the Red Cross’s abandonment. Inexcusably, instead of condemning Hamas, one member of the Red Cross was seen happily <a href="https://x.com/Ostrov_A/status/1888151925180272805" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shaking hands</a> with the masked Hamas terrorist on stage, as the three hostages were about to be gruesomely paraded.

It is also telling that whilst the Red Cross has managed to express <a href="https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2025-02-01/ty-article-live/unrwa-chief-calls-claims-hostages-held-in-facilities-deeply-disturbing-shocking/00000194-bf47-dbd4-a9dc-bf4fc89d0000?liveBlogItemId=1644304712&amp;utm_source=site&amp;utm_medium=button&amp;utm_campaign=live_blog_item#1644304712" target="_blank" rel="noopener">&#8220;outrage&#8221;</a> at the way Palestinian prisoners were released from Israel — even though it was fully in accordance with international law, and bearing in mind that unlike the innocent Israeli hostages coming home these were terrorist murderers with blood on their hands being let out of prison — they have refused to condemn Hamas over the obscene spectacles of the hostage releases in Gaza, instead jumping on stage with them for photo-ops. So much for that famous ‘neutrality’ they like to extol so much.
So much for that famous &#8220;neutrality&#8221; the Red Cross likes to extol. And, although the Red Cross likes to <a href="https://www.icrc.org/en/document/debunking-harmful-narratives-about-our-work-israel-and-palestinian-occupied-territories" target="_blank" rel="noopener">note</a> that they have repeatedly (if passively) called for the hostages’ release, or that the macabre displays during the hostage release are outside of their control, that is woefully and pathetically inadequate, as is the excuse that they cannot do anything in the absence of an agreement between Hamas and Israel.
The fact that Hamas does not abide by any norms of international law or human dignity, or that they repeatedly rejected prior hostage release and ceasefire deals, does not absolve the Red Cross of their <a href="https://www.icrc.org/en/who-we-are/mandate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mandate</a> under the Geneva Conventions to provide “humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of armed conflict,” as well as ensuring that the hostages&#8217; release transfers “<a href="https://www.icrc.org/en/news-release/israel-and-occupied-territories-icrc-completes-second-phase-release-operations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">take place in a way that is both safe and dignified</a>.” Nor is it enough to merely politely ‘call’ for the hostages’ release and then just give up when Hamas says no.
The Red Cross prides itself on being unwaveringly neutral, but when it comes to Israeli and Jewish lives, they are just unwaveringly absent. 
In addition to the hostages kidnapped on October 7, Hamas is also still holding the body of IDF soldier Hadar Goldin, who was killed and taken captive during the 2014 war with Israel, and two civilians, Avner Mengistu, a 37-year-old Israeli with mental health issues, who has been held hostage by Hamas also since 2014, and Hisham al-Sayed, a Bedouin Israeli, who is seriously ill and has been held hostage since 2015.
Not once has the Red Cross seen any of these men in captivity.
And the entire time former IDF soldier Gilad Shalit was held captive in Gaza for almost 6 years, until finally his release in 2011, the Red Cross never once visited or provided him humanitarian assistance.
The reality is, when it comes to Israeli lives, the Red Cross is just nowhere to be seen. Nor is this the first time that the ICRC has failed Jews: the organization has already acknowledged and <a href="https://www.icrc.org/en/document/icrc-wwii-holocaust" target="_blank" rel="noopener">apologized</a> for its abject failure to help protect the millions of Jews who were exterminated in the Nazi death camps. They used the same excuse back then that they are using now – they asked the Germans for permission, and were told no, so they just backed off.
Unforgivable.
As it relates to Gaza, not only have they failed to see even a single hostage, they have also ignored the irrefutable evidence right under their noses that Hamas is systematically <a href="https://thehill.com/opinion/international/5077022-war-gaza-hospitals-israel/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">using hospitals</a> and UN sites as terrorist staging grounds.
With a new U.S. Administration in the White House, the Red Cross must be held accountable for their wholesale abrogation of duty.

On his first day in office, President Trump <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/reevaluating-and-realigning-united-states-foreign-aid/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">signed an Executive Order</a> stating that “no further United States foreign assistance shall be disbursed in a manner that is not fully aligned with the foreign policy of the President of the United States.”
The United States is currently the single largest state donor to the Red Cross, contributing about <a href="https://library.icrc.org/library/docs/DOC/icrc-annual-report-2023-1.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">$550 million</a> in 2023. Given the Red Cross’s abandonment of the hostages, including American nationals still being held in hellish terror dungeons, and their effective whitewashing of Hamas’ crimes, not only does ongoing funding of the Red Cross not align with the foreign policy of the President of the United States, it runs entirely and dangerously counter to it.
Accordingly, if President Trump and the U.S. seek to eliminate wasteful spending, including under the newly created Department of Government Efficiency, they should cut funding to the Red Cross entirely — at least until they are restructured — and use some of that money instead to help the families of those whom the Red Cross has abandoned.

ABC News personality Sunny Hostin sparked a wave of backlash on Monday when she claimed that January 6th was among the worst moments in American history — and proceeded to compare it to &#8220;World War II, the Holocaust, and chattel slavery.&#8221;

“The View” host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/sunny-hostin">Sunny Hostin</a> said she didn’t want to move on from what happened on <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/january-6">January 6th, 2021</a>, and compared it to World War II, the Holocaust, and slavery.
During the <a href="https://x.com/theblaze/status/1876312352108564833">ABC talk show</a> on Monday, Hostin said the country needed to find “moral clarity” and said the blame for what happened on January 6th, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol needed to be placed at the feet of President-elect Donald Trump.
“You don&#8217;t move on because January 6th was an atrocity,” Hostin claimed. “It was one of the worst moments in American history. And when you think about the worst moments in American history like World War II, things that happened like the Holocaust, chattel slavery.&#8221;

“We need to never forget,” Hostin continued. “Because past becomes prologue if you forget any race.”
The audience agreed and clapped along at the host’s comments and several of the people on the panel agreed as well.
Hostin’s cohost Sarah Haines <a href="https://x.com/TheView/status/1876335580226712046">suggested</a> that what happened on January 6th should be “commemorated every year” because watching those videos “shook” her to the core, suggesting that future generations won’t know about what happened four years ago unless people continue to make sure it is talked about.

“And hopefully, every year we will continue to show video of January 6, cause I won’t tell you how to feel, you just watch that video and you tell me what you see,” Haines said, without explaining further. 
On Sunday in a <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2025/01/05/president-biden-jan-6-democracy/">Washington Post</a> Op-Ed, President Joe Biden also urged Americans to not forget about what happened on January 6th four years ago, labeling it a day when “violent insurrectionists attacked the Capitol.”
“We should be proud that our democracy withstood this assault,” Biden wrote. “And we should be glad we will not see such a shameful attack again this year. But we should not forget. We must remember the wisdom of the adage that any nation that forgets its past is doomed to repeat it. We cannot accept a repeat of what occurred four years ago.&#8221;
He also wrote that the “unrelenting effort” that’s “underway to rewrite — even erase — the history of that day” must not succeed, adding that “we cannot allow the truth to be lost.”
&#8220;The summer of 2020 was marked by riots fueled by allegations of police brutality, none of which resulted in arrests and prosecutions as aggressive as those targeting January 6th rioters,&#8221; The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-still-aggressively-prosecuting-january-6-defendants-as-pardons-loom">reported</a>. Only one person was killed on January 6. <h2>The Dreyfus Affair</h2>
While the Holocaust executed by Nazi Germany may be the most sensational example of antisemitism in Europe, hatred of Jews has been a perennial and insidious evil on the Continent since antiquity, gaining strength through the medieval period and persisting into our own time. Despised as an “inferior race,” the Jews became Europe’s routine outsider scapegoats. One of the most infamous instances of such scapegoating, the Dreyfus Affair in late-nineteenth-century France, was a harbinger of horrors to come—horrors that would necessitate the establishment of a Jewish state that would, in time, become a critical ally to the United States.
During the Third Republic, Alfred Dreyfus, a young Jewish army officer, was accused of selling military secrets to the Germans, including cutting-edge French weapon designs.(1) A document allegedly in Dreyfus’s handwriting seemed to prove his guilt, and in January 1895 he was convicted of treason by a closed court martial. In a humiliating ceremony formally expelling him from the French army, Dreyfus’s medals and insignia of rank were torn from his uniform and his sword broken, and he was paraded in front of the assembled officers, who jeered him as a traitor and a Jew. He was shipped off to Devil’s Island, the notorious penal colony off the coast of French Guiana, where the mortality rate was so high that it was known as the “dry guillotine.”

That should have been the end of Dreyfus, but the lack of substantial evidence remained troubling to some observers, as did the growing impression that he had been targeted primarily because he was a Jew. Eventually it was revealed that it would have been logistically impossible for Dreyfus to have had dealings with the Germans in question. Another suspect emerged, one whose handwriting more closely matched the incriminating document than Dreyfus’s. The case that had once seemed open and shut began to look like a set-up.
The Dreyfus Affair was hotly debated between the traditionalists, who saw the controversy as a Jewish plot to undermine traditional French military culture, and progressives, who believed the persecution of Dreyfus was a shameful manifestation of antisemitism masked by the anti-German sentiment of that period following the Franco-Prussian War. The new French President Félix Faure, who had inherited the scandal, became the de facto leader of the traditionalists, while the journalist and future prime minister Georges Clemenceau spearheaded the effort to clear Dreyfus.
On January 13, 1898, the front page of Clemenceau’s newspaper L’Aurore screamed “J’Accuse … !” Distilling the concerns and misgivings about the Dreyfus Affair into one resonant phrase, the headline introduced an open letter to President Faure by the critic and author Émile Zola. It was the most detailed account of the injustices done to Dreyfus and a warning to the president that the scandal threatened to engulf his administration. Acknowledging that his letter potentially violated the law as libel, Zola defiantly declared, “My fiery protest is the cry of my very soul.”(2)
Zola was duly convicted of libel and fled to England, but the case against Dreyfus began to fall apart. A second court martial convicted him again but commuted his sentence, and ten days later he was pardoned by a new president. Acceptance of the pardon required an admission of guilt, but Dreyfus was fully exonerated in 1906.

While justice had finally been done for Dreyfus, Jews sensed a growing threat. Many believed that they could no longer depend on assimilating into European culture, as had been the hope, but needed to establish their own state to protect themselves. The Dreyfus Affair inspired the pioneering Zionist Theodor Herzl to write The Jewish State: An Attempt at a Modern Solution to the Jewish Problem in 1896, laying out the case for reestablishing a Jewish nation in the Holy Land.
The concept was hardly new, as Jews had been living in the region for millennia and had governed it as far back as the time of King David. But for the Austro-Hungarian Herzl, the pogroms of isolation and marginalization of the nineteenth century made the project immediate and urgent. As a young man he had hoped that enlightenment would lead to the end of antisemitism. However, he came to believe that hatred of Jews in Europe was so entrenched that the only real solution was a state for Jews in their ancestral homeland, where they could live and worship in peace and security. Herzl pressed his case with everyone from the Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II to Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. The organizations that would eventually provide the foundation of the Israeli government, notably the Zionist Congress and the Jewish Agency, were formed.
Herzl’s proposition was controversial, but it was also powerful, and modern Zionism gained steam after his death in 1904. Had his vision of a safe haven for Jews been realized in the early twentieth century, one of the greatest evils in history might have been avoided. But it was not yet to be. The gathering antisemitism he identified in European society spread into the mainstream in Germany in the 1920s, feeding on the general discontent following Germany’s humiliating loss in World War I.

On the eve of Operation Barbarossa, Adolf Hitler’s long-desired invasion of the Soviet Union, the German high command issued a chilling edict to the Axis armies waiting for their marching orders, setting the tone for one of the most horrific and prolonged episodes of mass barbarity ever recorded. 
“This will be a war of annihilation,” said the German Army chief of staff, General Franz Halder, relaying the wishes of his Führer. “Commanders must make the sacrifice of overcoming their personal scruples.” 
Beyond the scope of Hitler’s four million-man operation spanning a front line some 1,200 miles from Finland to the Black Sea, it was the viciousness, indeed the racial hatred, that underpinned the assault on the detested Slavs, Bolsheviks, and, of course, Jews, that made this crime and others of Hitler and his Nazi hordes so unique in the annals of warfare. 
Barbarossa was the ultimate expression of Hitler&#8217;s megalomaniacal zeal to eradicate tens of millions of those whom he considered unworthy of sharing the same continent with his master race. The orgy of mass murder his loyal soldiers inflicted upon the people of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and the Baltic States was the equivalent of over six 9/11s each day, every day, for over 1,400 days. The 27 million dead would be added to the tally of millions more murdered Poles, Greeks, French, Dutch, Belgian, Danes, British and British Commonwealthers, Americans, Norwegians, Czechs, Yugoslavs, and others, to the point where Adolf Hitler, in his hate-filled descent into bona fide madness, could claim direct responsibility for the deaths of over 36 million people. This does not even include Axis dead.
This is the man to whom a desperate Democrat Party is once again shamelessly trying to link their GOP opponent, Donald Trump. Such lack of shame in making so ludicrous an analogy actually beggars the mind. More so when you consider how many Americans on the left blindly accept this comparison as even remotely valid. As such, although not surprisingly, Trump has been the target of three assassination attempts due to such demonization. After all, when you draw a nexus between him and the architect of Barbarossa, The Holocaust, and other atrocities, it is easy to see how not just the mentally unstable, but even many otherwise normal Americans fearing for their nation&#8217;s future can want the man dead. In fact, <a href="https://www.christianpost.com/news/one-third-of-democrats-wish-trumps-assassin-didnt-miss-poll.html">almost one-third</a> of Democrats surveyed expressed disappointment that Trump was not felled by the bullet that took the life of an innocent father of two. That is self-evidently disturbing.
But who is Donald Trump really, when you strip away the bizarre, visceral hatred for the man? As it turns out, he was a politician who was already President for 1,447 days. And the nation survived with its bedrock civil liberties well intact while the world was at relative peace. This was a man who firmly supported the Jewish state of Israel, and was, in fact, the only President in my adult lifetime to refrain from starting yet another ill-conceived war.
Indeed, the only atrocities I ever saw him commit while in office were his hairdo, fast food diet, and sometimes undisciplined tongue. And, yes, he should have been more forceful in his words to try and stem a four-hour riot on Capitol Hill.

With that said, I have often wondered if those who somehow compare Donald Trump (or anyone really) to Hitler have ever even heard of such nightmarish places as Auschwitz, Treblinka, Belsen, Sobibor, or Dachau. And these infamous death factories, run with the Nazis’ knack for dispassionate efficiency, are just a handful of the <a href="https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/how-many-concentration-camps">over 6,000</a> concentration camps set up throughout Germany and the conquered territories from 1933-1945. And the millions of innocents murdered in these grisly places do not even include the inhumane POW camps into which millions of Red Army prisoners were dumped and condemned to die of starvation, summary execution, torture, and disease.
As just one example of the atrocities about which I’ll guarantee you the “Trump is Hitler” crew are unaware, consider Babi Yar. In September 1941 as the Wehrmacht moved through the Ukraine, Hitler’s roving SS assassins called the <a href="https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/einsatzgruppen" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Einsatzgruppen</a>, along with elements of the regular German Sixth Army, sent out an order that all Jews in Kyiv were to report for relocation. They were instructed to bring ID, money, and warm clothing. The unsuspecting Ukrainian Jews were ignorant of the Nazis’ rabid anti-Semitism; until the invasion, Stalin had forbidden negative press re: Germany as part of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Non-Aggression Pact. Some 33,000 showed up and were subsequently ushered to the ravine of Babi Yar. Hitler’s executioners then systematically massacred them all…men, women, children, the latter of whom were often lined up and shot three at a time with one round to save ammunition. It has been said that before there was “Shoah by gas&#8221;, there was &#8220;Shoah by bullets.” And the Nazis were just getting started. Not only was Hitler fully aware of this and countless other atrocities in his name, he enthusiastically encouraged them.
As for the broader Ukraine, Hitler and his Nazi henchmen vowed to strip “Europe’s breadbasket” of its grain harvest which would be spirited away to the Reich. In what they unashamedly labeled “der Hungerplan,” Hitler gleefully expected that his edict would condemn some 30 million to die of slow starvation. The very well-fed Hermann Göring, echoing his Fuhrer’s sentiments, boasted that the population would have to “eat Cossack saddles!” 
Those allowed to live and work the land at the behest of their German overlords would be relegated to slaves, modern helots. It is not difficult to see where Tolkien’s inspiration for his “Lord Of The Rings” series — featuring Sauron’s malice, lust for power, conquest, and drive to inflict suffering upon the people of Middle Earth — originated.
Like many of us in the post-war world, I’d grown up knowing about Hitler and his crimes. But it was not until I began researching my <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Another-Time-Place-Brad-Schaeffer/dp/1682616630">first book</a> that I came to understand just how close to pure evil this man was. Indeed, for Europe, Hitler’s ascent to power, and the unfathomable suffering and devastation he unleashed upon the continent in his six-year rampage of gore, was, quite simply, the worst thing to happen since the Black Death.
Yet, now we must endure the latest round of “Trump is Hitler” from the Left that will try any and every approach to save Kamala Harris’ sinking campaign.
Do such dubious equivalences stem from ignorance? Is it desperation? I don’t know. But I do know this: The more the “H” word is casually bantered about as the go-to analogy for anyone the Left finds disagreeable, the less the actual crimes of Hitler himself are properly remembered. Like his morally anesthetized soldiers, we become inured to them. And that is dangerous. Because, as Mark Steyn said, “When everybody’s Hitler, nobody’s Hitler.” How, then, will we know if a true successor to the man the historian Hugh Trevor-Roper referred to as “the coarsest, cruelest, least magnanimous conqueror the world has ever known” is among us?
That a president should choose to use his Constitutionally granted authority to secure the border and sit across the table from bad actors who command nuclear arsenals, so as to prevent a Third World War (from which humanity would never recover), while placing U.S. interests above those of the other 192 nations, does not make him the new Führer.
To compare Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler only serves to shamelessly insult and belittle the memory of the Nazis’ tens of millions of victims. This is a truly grotesque tactic deployed at the eleventh hour to score cheap political points to salvage a campaign that is rapidly sinking under the weight of its own candidate’s incompetence, mendacity, and astounding vacuousness. When this campaign is over, no matter who wins, the Democrats will owe not just Trump, but Hitler&#8217;s victims, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/auschwitz-survivor-blasts-kamala-for-comparing-trump-to-hitler">some still living</a>, an apology.
It is time to banish the “Hitler” analogies from the political landscape once and for all. Otherwise, I fear that, given our lack of understanding of just how horrific the real Hitler was, we may not recognize his true reincarnation when we see him. And like those poor souls of Babi Yar, we won’t come to realize just how mistaken we have been until it is too late.

Jerry Wartski, a 94-year-old who survived Auschwitz during the Holocaust, slammed Vice President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kamala-harris" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kamala Harris</a> for comparing former President Donald Trump to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.
Harris said during a CNN town hall this week that she believes that Trump is a fascist after she repeated a highly controversial report that has been widely disputed that accused Trump of praising Hitler.
She also claimed that Trump was &#8220;comparing&#8221; himself &#8220;in a clearly admiring way to Hitler.&#8221;
&#8220;Adolf Hitler invaded Poland when I was nine years old,&#8221; Wartski said in a video posted online. &#8220;He murdered my parents and most of our family. I know more about Hitler than Kamala will ever know in a thousand lifetimes.&#8221;
&#8220;For her to accuse President Trump of being like Hitler is the worst thing I ever heard in my 75 years living in the United States,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;I know President Trump and he would never say this, and Kamala Harris knows that. She owes my parents and everybody else who was murdered by Hitler an apology for repeating this lie.&#8221;

When asked why the Jewish people should support Trump in the upcoming election, Wartski responded: &#8220;Because he&#8217;s a mensch.&#8221;
&#8220;I believe that President Trump is definitely going to be good for Israel, because everything that he&#8217;s done up to now was in favor,&#8221; he said. &#8220;He never double crossed anyone, and he never showed any weakness.&#8221;
&#8220;Watching President Trump pray for the hostages at the Ohel and getting to spend time with him was so meaningful,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;He has always stood with the Jewish people and the State of Israel.&#8221;

Former President Donald Trump denounced people who are denying that the horrific October 7 massacre of more than 1200 people in Israel ever happened, calling them the “exact same people” as Holocaust deniers.
Trump appeared on Fox News with host Sean Hannity on Wednesday night.
“I never thought in my lifetime I would listen to a president of our country, leader of the Free World, literally tell a country that was attacked by radical Islamic terrorists, that we’ll support your defense but we won’t support you fighting back after the Iranians fired weapons into their country,” Hannity stated. “To me, that was a surrender in the War on Terror. We’re trying to lecture Israel, ‘You can’t go into Rafah, you can’t do this.’ Okay, excuse me: How would we act if we lost what would be a population extrapolated out (as) 40,000 Americans in a day?”
“So, number one, they have to finish the job. Israel has to finish that job; they have to finish it quickly, strongly, and they have to get back to life again, because it’s taken too long. They have to finish the job,” Trump responded.
“So you go in, win, and finish,” Hannity commented.
“You gotta win. You gotta win,” Trump insisted. “The attack on October 7, and it’s getting more and more demeaned, they’re demeaning it, I have people now telling me they don’t think the attack ever happened. And take a look, watch the news reports.”
“I have the 50 minutes of video,” Hannity said, referring to the 47-minute reel of raw footage of Hamas’ October 7 attacks, which commentator Dave Rubin, who saw the video, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ec6ifktOK-Q">said</a> showed “beheadings, like by hand with knives, throwing grenades into bomb shelters with children in them, burning people alive, it’s just beyond imagination.”
“I know you do and so do I,” Trump replied, then declared, “But here’s the thing: You watch these people on television, and then just like you have Holocaust deniers also, they say the Holocaust never did — it’s the exact same people. They’re saying it never happened.”
