Democrats are continuing to lose ground among Hispanic voters, which could end up hurting Vice President Kamala Harris in November.
The Cook Political Report’s <a href="https://www.cookpolitical.com/survey-research/cpr-national-polling-average/2024/harris-trump-overall" target="_blank" rel="noopener">database</a> of crosstabs from polls shows that Harris currently leads Trump among Hispanic voters by an average of 12 points – a significant drop from President Joe Biden’s 23-point lead among Hispanics in 2020. Biden’s lead was also a drop from Hillary Clinton’s 39-point lead in 2016.
Ruy Teixeira, a political scientist and commentator, wrote in his Liberal Patriot <a href="https://www.liberalpatriot.com/p/the-democrats-hispanic-voter-problem-373" target="_blank" rel="noopener">newsletter</a> this week that Democrats underestimate the “seriousness” of the problem for three reasons.
“(1) they don’t realize how big the shift is; (2) they don’t realize how thoroughly it undermines the most influential Democratic theory of the case for building their coalition; and (3) they believe that any Hispanic flirtation with the GOP is merely temporary—they will “come back home” to the Democrats,” he wrote.
Teixeira also noted that the U.S. Census shows that Hispanics are the largest nonwhite population in the nation – and growing. Hispanics <a href="https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/fact/table/US/PST045223">currently</a> account for roughly 19% of the U.S. population, with African Americans making up about 14%.
Harris is likely to still win Hispanics overall, just as Biden did in 2020, but Republicans’ continued gains among this voting bloc mean Democrats will have to make up the votes elsewhere, which may explain why so many Harris ads are focused on abortion.
Even though Biden won Hispanics in 2020, then-President Donald Trump improved his vote share in 78 of America’s 100 majority-Hispanic counties, The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/donald-trump-improved-standing-with-latinos-in-78-of-americas-100-majority-hispanic-counties" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> at the time. In writing about the phenomenon, POLITICO’s Marc Caputo noted that Trump also did better with Hispanics “in exit polls of each of the top 10 battleground states.”
“Joe Biden still won Latino voters overall. But as post-election data trickles in, Democrats are growing concerned. Trump’s notable gains weren’t limited to Miami’s <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2020/11/04/biden-miami-cubans-election-2020-433999" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cuban Americans</a> or border-region <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2020/11/17/trump-latinos-south-texas-tejanos-437027" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tejanos</a>. Although <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2020/11/06/why-biden-lost-the-latino-vote-florida-texas-434735" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Florida and Texas</a> stood out for the notable shift, Puerto Ricans as far away as Philadelphia and Mexican Americans in Milwaukee drifted Trump-ward,” Caputo wrote.

The trend has continued nearly four years into the Biden administration, with Hispanic support in New Mexico dropping due to their disapproval of the president, The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-faces-dire-disapproval-ratings-among-hispanics-in-state-he-won-big-in-2020-poll" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> earlier this year. Polls in April also showed Biden’s support for Hispanics <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/new-poll-shows-latinos-sour-on-biden-could-cost-him-arizona-nevada" target="_blank" rel="noopener">eroding</a>, leading to speculation Democrats could lose Nevada and Arizona – two critical swing states.
So, why are Hispanics leaving the Democrat party? This was explained following the 2020 election by Josh Zaragoza, a top Democratic data specialist in Arizona, who told POLITICO, “Most Latinos identify first as working-class Americans, and Trump spoke to that.” He also said that Hispanic men “are very entrepreneurial. Their economic language is more aligned with the way Republicans speak: pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, owning your own business.”
Further, Democrats’ embrace of socialism can turn off Hispanic voters, who often escaped socialist dictatorships.
After the 2020 election, Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX) said during a Democrat conference call that “Defund police, open borders, socialism — it’s killing us,” <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/15/us/politics/2020-election-recap-democrats-republicans.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to The New York Times</a>. Gonzalez added during that call that the “average white person” may think of Nordic countries when they hear the word “socialism,” but Asians and Hispanics associate the word with despotic “left-wing regimes.”
It appears Democrats have not learned from that call.

When I fled civil unrest and violence in Mexico City for the United States as a young girl, I had no idea that I would eventually become sucked into another violent regime: the U.S. abortion industry.
Unfortunately, the 17 years I spent working as an employee of Planned Parenthood opened my eyes to unspeakable horrors inflicted on babies and moms that Democrat politicians like Kamala Harris facilitate. Today, as Vice President Kamala Harris seeks to win the White House, I hope my story serves as a warning that Harris’ laundry list of incompetency and injustice against immigrants and women make her unfit to lead our nation.
Planned Parenthood hired me back in 2000, I believe in large part because I was undocumented, which made me a useful envoy to the immigrant community. Over the next 17 years, the organization groomed me into one of their leading employees. Yet as I was showered with bonuses, titles and even Planned Parenthood’s 2016 “Employee of the Year,” I began uncovering the truth about the coercion and exploitation the organization relied upon as part of its business model. I saw that, contrary to their claim that abortion was <a href="https://lozierinstitute.org/fact-sheet-planned-parenthoods-2021-22-annual-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">only a minuscule part</a> of their services, the abortion clinic I worked in raked in about $20,000 per day compared to their non-abortive clinic which made barely a few hundred.
Among the many problems I saw go unreported, one doctor in particular had countless <a href="https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/arizona/2019/08/19/ex-planned-parenthood-employee-mayra-rodriguez-awarded-3-m-jury-wrongful-termination/2051782001/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">health and safety violations</a> that went unchecked.
Even worse, I heard reports of women and girls being <a href="https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2024/jul/25/women-pushed-into-abortions-offer-grim-accounts-of/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">coerced into unwanted abortions. </a> One horrific example that I learned of years later involved a young immigrant named Mayela. This poor young girl underwent <a href="https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2024/jul/25/women-pushed-into-abortions-offer-grim-accounts-of/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a late-term abortion in Arizona</a> without her knowledge or consent, after Planned Parenthood staff charged her $200 and asked her to sign paperwork she didn&#8217;t understand – all without a translator.
This, coupled with my growing realization of how the abortion and <a href="https://lozierinstitute.org/online-mail-order-chemical-abortion-a-threat-to-abuse-and-trafficking-victims/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">trafficking</a> industries thrive off one another, deeply shocked me. 
Yet, when I began to voice concerns over these problems, Planned Parenthood threatened, harassed, and ultimately fired me.
So, I made U.S. history as the first undocumented worker to <a href="https://rnha.org/interview-with-mayra-rodriguez/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">file a wrongful termination</a> lawsuit. A predominantly pro-choice jury unanimously awarded me <a href="https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/arizona/2019/08/19/ex-planned-parenthood-employee-mayra-rodriguez-awarded-3-m-jury-wrongful-termination/2051782001/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">$3 million in damages </a>against Planned Parenthood. Sadly, the abortionist at the center of my lawsuit continues practicing at the expense of women and girls today.
You’d think that Kamala Harris, the first female Vice President and presidential hopeful, would be appalled to hear these damning revelations – especially since she has centered her campaign around women’s “rights” and “choice.”
But <a href="https://www.plannedparenthoodaction.org/pressroom/planned-parenthood-action-fund-endorses-kamala-harris-for-president" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Planned Parenthood donates</a> heavily to Harris’ political campaigns, which explains why she consistently chooses the abortion industry over the women she claims to champion. In fact, during her time as Attorney General of California, Harris collaborated with Planned Parenthood and the DOJ to silence, discredit, and destroy another Planned Parenthood <a href="https://www.dailysignal.com/2024/08/07/exclusive-kamala-harris-sent-agents-raid-pro-life-journalists-home-met-planned-parenthood-emails-show/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">whistleblower.</a>
In light of this, it’s safe to say that Kamala Harris wouldn’t have even let me file my lawsuit if I’d tried to file in her state of California instead of Arizona. 
Harris’ close relationship with Planned Parenthood is a massive warning sign to all vulnerable and immigrant women – especially because immigrant and low-income women are disproportionately affected by human trafficking, crime and the exploitative abortion industry.
Harris’ refusal to acknowledge or address the border crisis has allowed historic numbers of immigrants to flood states like Arizona with deadly illegal drugs, crime, and human trafficking, the very conditions from which many migrants have fled. Moreover, her track record of disastrous policies put women at risk. In one egregious instance, an illegal immigrant released by one of Harris’ <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/victim-brutal-2008-illegal-migrant-attack-speaks-out-about-harris-record-prosecutor" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“crime prevention”</a> programs in California attacked a young woman and fractured her skull.
Instead of addressing these pressing issues, Harris has made promoting abortion the center of her campaign. She has devoted precious resources to attacking pregnancy resource centers that provide free resources, education and support to vulnerable (and often immigrant) women in need – merely because these organizations do not offer abortion. She also has backed radical and deceptive pro-abortion state ballot initiatives like the one being pushed here in Arizona. Similar amendments in states like <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/state-officials-are-right-sound-alarm-pro-abortion-ballot-measures-opinion-1867851" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Michigan</a> and Ohio have already been promising for the child trafficking industry, as they open the door for legislators to nullify parental consent requirements for minors to get abortions. I fear the same could happen here in Arizona if the Harris-backed Amendment passes.
Women deserve so much better than Harris’ hellscape of crime, trafficking, and coercive abortions at the hands of dangerous immigrants and an exploitative abortion industry.
As an immigrant woman who escaped Planned Parenthood’s clutches and became a legal citizen in this wonderful country, I hope my testimony serves as a warning to all women: We can’t afford to let Planned Parenthood’s bought and paid for henchwoman destroy the America we love.

President Joe Biden is bleeding Hispanic support in New Mexico, a state he won by 10 points in 2020 with the help of the key demographic group, according to a new poll shared with The Daily Wire.
New <a href="https://powerthefuture.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/FINAL-PTF-New-Mexico-Statewide-Survey.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">polling data</a> from Power the Future and Public Opinion Strategies shows that the president’s disapproval rating among Hispanics in New Mexico has skyrocketed since taking office. Of the Hispanics polled in the Power the Future survey, 63% disapprove of the job Biden has done — with 51% strongly disapproving — while 36% approve of his performance. 
Biden’s disapproval rating among Hispanics in the state is a complete flip from the 2020 election results, which saw Biden take 61% of the Hispanic vote compared to just 38% for Trump. The president’s overall approval rating in New Mexico isn’t much better, as 41% of voters approve of Biden compared to 57% who disapprove, which is nearly identical to the national average, according to the poll. 
“Politically, New Mexico may be a small state, but these results spell big trouble for Joe Biden,” Power the Future Communications Director Larry Behrens told The Daily Wire. “The biggest issues on the minds of voters are the economy and crime, so it’s clear Joe Biden’s failures are the driving force behind why his numbers are taking a dive.” 
The poll, which surveyed 500 registered likely votes in the state between January 5-8, showed that the top issues for New Mexicans are the economy (24%), crime (23%), and education (15%). Immigration (12%) came in behind the environment (13%). 
Nearly half of Hispanic voters polled rated the state’s economy as “poor,” while another 33% said the economy was “only fair.” Meanwhile, 73% of all registered voters polled by Power the Future said the economy was either “poor” or “only fair.” 
“Families in New Mexico are just like families across the rest of the country, they are paying higher prices for everything so it’s no surprise they’ve decided Joe Biden needs to pay a political price too,” said Behrens. 
In the last presidential election, Biden <a href="https://www.cnn.com/election/2020/results/state/new-mexico/president" target="_blank" rel="noopener">beat</a> Trump in New Mexico by nearly 100,000 votes, easily taking the state’s two largest cities, Albuquerque and Las Cruces. While Trump <a href="https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2021/06/30/behind-bidens-2020-victory/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">made gains</a> with Hispanics in 2020 compared to 2016, Biden pulled enough Hispanic support to help propel him to victory, but current trends suggest Biden is losing both Hispanic and black support heading into the 2024 election.

According to a USA Today/Suffolk <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/01/01/biden-trump-poll-odds-black-hispanic-young-voters/72072111007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">poll</a> released earlier this month, Biden is trailing Trump 39% to 34% among Hispanic voters nationally, and only 63% of black voters back Biden compared to 87% of the black vote he received in the 2020 election.

Congresswoman-elect <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/meet-anna-paulina-luna-the-firebrand-conservative-who-wasnt-supposed-to-win" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Anna Paulina Luna</a> (R-FL) responded to comparisons to far-left Rep. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/alexandria-ocasio-cortez" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez</a> (D-NY) and discussed the GOP pivot to Hispanic outreach during an interview with The Daily Wire.
Luna, 33, <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2022/11/08/us/elections/results-florida-us-house-district-13.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">flipped</a> a blue seat in the 13th district by a healthy eight-point margin on Tuesday, contributing to Florida&#8217;s red wave.
Referring to Luna by her initials, APL, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk told The Washington Post last week, “APL &#8212; possibly against AOC. That’ll be really fun.” We asked Luna about the comparison, noting the Republican&#8217;s youth and standing as a &#8220;new&#8221; type of conservative, seeming opposition to AOC and the far-leftism of &#8220;The Squad.&#8221;
&#8220;I do think that my ideas are better than theirs, and I also think I am way more qualified than they are,&#8221; Luna responded. &#8220;I think their message is one of hate and division, and mine is one of unity and common sense. I am their polar opposite.&#8221;
&#8220;But I also think Charlie&#8217;s right in the sense that I am a younger representative. I think I&#8217;m actually the youngest Republican female representative in the conference,&#8221; she added. Luna turned 33 years old in May, the same age as AOC, a self-professed Democratic socialist. &#8220;I think that I&#8217;m very relatable, which is important for younger generations.&#8221;
&#8220;I have a different background, too,&#8221; Luna said. The congresswoman-elect was raised by her mother, who is of Mexican descent; her father, who is Mexican and German, struggled with addiction and was out of the picture during her childhood.
Luna went on to say she &#8220;looks forward to having discussions&#8221; with members of &#8220;The Squad,&#8221; feeling &#8220;immune&#8221; to some of the typical attacks from Democrats.
&#8220;I think the things that they would typically revert back to, especially with identity politics, I don&#8217;t think that it works the same against me,&#8221; she told The Daily Wire. &#8220;So we&#8217;ll have to have real discussions. How are they gonna tell me that I&#8217;m anti-immigration or that I&#8217;m racist or that I haven&#8217;t served or that I don&#8217;t know what it&#8217;s like to experience all these things? I&#8217;ve literally grown up in the most abnormal circumstances. I am immune from it, I guess.&#8221;
The GOP saw huge Latino <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/09/politics/latino-voters-florida-midterms" target="_blank" rel="noopener">gains</a> in the state of Florida. Luna said Hispanic voices within the GOP are &#8220;incredibly important,&#8221; especially now, as she sees Democrats shift focus from the black vote toward Hispanics. &#8220;We are the largest voting minority in the country,&#8221; she added.
&#8220;I think conservative media really needs to start talking to these people, because the fact is the Left is now pivoting from the issue of the black vote, and they&#8217;re now focusing solely on the Hispanic vote,&#8221; Luna said. &#8220;They&#8217;ve basically bought up all of our conservative media in Miami-Dade, they started to launch &#8216;fact-checking&#8217; operations against conservative Hispanic influencers online saying that they&#8217;re pushing disinformation.&#8221;
&#8220;Part of the reason why the Hispanic vote went so red is a majority of us are entrepreneurs, small business owners, &#8212; we have doctors, lawyers, congressmen,&#8221; Luna explained. &#8220;But when you have leadership in the DNC like Nancy Pelosi calling us &#8216;<a href="https://nypost.com/2022/09/30/nancy-pelosi-says-florida-needs-migrants-to-pick-crops/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">crop pickers</a>&#8216;; things like having <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-first-lady-compares-hispanic-people-to-tacos-at-latinx-incluxion-luncheon" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jill Biden refer to us as &#8216;breakfast tacos,&#8217;</a> that doesn&#8217;t sit well with anyone. I mean, it&#8217;s just insulting.&#8221;
&#8220;A lot of people, especially those who&#8217;ve fled communism and socialism, saw what was happening with the Biden administration choosing to allow massive illegal immigration, but knowingly turning away people from Cuba that had general claims for political asylum, because they&#8217;re being prosecuted in their countries &#8212; I think that these are all factors as to why the vote went so red,&#8221; the Republican said.
Luna added that many Hispanics, including herself, are raised in the Catholic faith and do not support the abortion extremism of the Left, though Democrats are &#8220;pushing massive disinformation&#8221; on the issue.
&#8220;1,000 percent&#8221; the GOP should focus on Hispanic outreach, the congresswoman-elect asserted.

The 2022 midterm elections didn&#8217;t exactly go as expected for Republicans, but there was some good news in the data collected in exit polls.
While Democrats won 76% of the black men&#8217;s vote in 2018, that margin was cut to 65% in 2022, an 11% boost for the GOP. Republicans also picked up an additional 7% from black women, according to <a href="https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2022/politics/exit-polls-2022-midterm-2018-shift/">exit poll data</a> collected by CNN.
Democrats enjoyed a 29% edge among Latino men in 2018, but that was slashed to just 8% this time around. Latino women support also rose 14%.
Republicans also cut their margin of support from voters aged 18-29. In 2018, Democrats were +35% from that voting bloc, but that was cut to 28% in 2022. Support from 30-44 years old also went from +19 to +4.
The GOP made other inroads. Democrats enjoyed a +19 margin from women in 2018, but that fell to just +8 this year.
&#8220;When Democrats took control of the House after the 2018 election, a little more than half of voters were women and the party had a huge advantage among them. Even though women represented a similar majority of voters in 2022, Democrats’ lead appears to be cut noticeably,&#8221; CNN reported.
Republicans grew their support among men. In 2018, Republicans were +4 over Democrats. This time around, that number soared to +14.
There was another startling finding in the exit poll data. Democrats enjoyed a +33 margin among urban voters in the last midterms, but that fell to just 17% this midterm.
&#8220;Most American voters lived in the suburbs in both 2018 and 2022. But while suburban voters were evenly split when Democrats took control of the House four years ago, they moved toward Republicans in 2022,&#8221; CNN reported.
&#8220;An already-strong Republican lead among rural voters got even bigger and Republicans even ate into Democrats’ lead in urban areas,&#8221; according to the data. Rural support went from +14 to +29.
The GOP also picked up votes from moderates, cutting Democrats&#8217; 2018 margin of +26 to +15.
&#8220;Both Democrats and Republicans improved their performance among the party faithful. But Republicans built a lead among voters who don’t have a favorable view of either party. Democrats lost their edge among voters who have a favorable view of both parties,&#8221; according to the data.
But according to Tufts University, young voters had a real effect on some close races.
&#8220;In the Pennsylvania Senate race, where Democrat John Fetterman won by a slim 1% margin, youth ages 18-29 preferred Fetterman 70% to 28%, compared to 55% to 42% among voters ages 30-44, with voters over 45 preferring Republican candidate Dr. [Mehmet] Oz,&#8221; <a href="https://circle.tufts.edu/2022-election-center">according</a> to the college&#8217;s Center for Information &amp; Research on Civic Learning &amp; Engagement (CIRCLE).
&#8220;In the Georgia Senate race that may go to a runoff election, whereas of midnight on election night less than 1% separated the candidates, youth backed Democratic incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock 63% to 36%,&#8221; CIRCLE reported.
&#8220;Voters ages 30-44 backed Warnock 56% to 41%, while voters over 45 gave a majority of their votes to GOP challenger Herschel Walker. Notably, the youth share of the vote in Georgia was 13%, slightly higher than the national rate,&#8221; the center reported.

You gotta&#8217; wonder about pollsters.
For the last few months, nearly every pollster said the midterm elections were tight. Pick &#8217;em, they said. Could go either way, they said. Democrats hold the Senate, could keep House, too, they said.
Suddenly, all that has changed. Nationwide surveys now show a flood of voters to the Republican Party &#8212; blacks, Hispanics, and now, in a new poll, women.
&#8220;White suburban women, a key group of midterm voters, have significantly shifted their support from Democrats to Republicans in the closing days of midterm campaigning because of rising concerns over the economy and inflation, according to the latest Wall Street Journal poll,&#8221; the paper <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/white-suburban-women-swing-toward-backing-republicans-for-congress-11667381402">reported</a> on Wednesday.
The numbers are staggering. It&#8217;s not just a trickle of women, it&#8217;s a torrent.
&#8220;The new survey shows that white women living in suburban areas, who make up 20% of the electorate, now favor Republicans for Congress by 15 percentage points, moving 27 percentage points away from Democrats since the Journal’s August poll,&#8221; the paper wrote.
“We’re talking about a collapse, if you will, in that group on the perceptions of the economy,” Republican pollster Tony Fabrizio, who conducted the poll with Democratic pollster John Anzalone, told the Journal.
White suburban women are joining blacks and Hispanic voters, who are moving to the GOP amid skyrocketing gas and food prices and soaring crime rates across the country.
&#8220;The issue of inflation – and the feeling that the White House hasn&#8217;t done enough to address it – is helping Republicans score significant inroads among Hispanic and Black voters, both demographic groups that Democrats have long relied on for support,&#8221; USA Today <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2022/10/27/republicans-resurgent-economy-midterms/10596369002/">reported</a> last week.
&#8220;Now 40% of Hispanics and 21% of Blacks are backing the Republican candidate,&#8221; according to a USA Today/Suffolk University poll. Those numbers are huge &#8212; black support is up 15 points from 6% in the last midterms to 21%, and Hispanic support jumped 15 points to 40%.
The sudden movement among the voting blocs comes as blacks and Hispanics have grown increasingly frustrated with soaring crime in U.S. cities. After decades of failure by Democrats &#8212; who have long run the biggest American cities &#8212; perhaps it&#8217;s time to give the other guys a try.
But there are a few other driving forces in the movement. The predominantly Christian black and Hispanic blocs are not supportive of the gay and transgender issues being pushed by Democrats. And they&#8217;re not at all happy about the defund the police and no-bail practices spouted by liberals &#8212; mainly because in the cities, they&#8217;re the most affected by the policies.
Eight in 10 (81%) of black Democrats say violent crime is a &#8220;very important&#8221; issue in the 2022 election, <a href="https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2022/10/31/violent-crime-is-a-key-midterm-voting-issue-but-what-does-the-data-say/">according</a> to a recent Pew survey of registered voters. That compares to just 33% of white Democrats.
&#8220;Black Americans have consistently been more likely than other racial and ethnic groups to express concern about violent crime, and that remains the case this year,&#8221; the pollsters said.
Although the polls had the 2022 elections neck and neck for months, now white suburban women, blacks and Hispanics are bailing on the Democratic Party.
Expect a red tsunami on Election Day.

During a debate last week between candidates for governor in New York, incumbent Democrat Kathy Hochul was pushed by her Republican challenger, Rep. Lee Zeldin, about soaring crime.
&#8220;I don&#8217;t know why that&#8217;s so important to you,&#8221; Hochul said dismissively.
Bad answer. Very bad answer.
Democrats have long taken the black vote for granted — promising everything, delivering nothing — but the 2022 midterm election is a very different animal. This time around, blacks are furious about skyrocketing crime to the point where some are abandoning the Democratic Party.
Over eight in ten of black Democrats say violent crime is a &#8220;very important&#8221; issue in the 2022 election, <a href="https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2022/10/31/violent-crime-is-a-key-midterm-voting-issue-but-what-does-the-data-say/">according</a> to a recent Pew survey of registered voters. That compares to just 33% of white Democrats. &#8220;Black Americans have consistently been more likely than other racial and ethnic groups to express concern about violent crime, and that remains the case this year,&#8221; the pollsters <a href="https://www.pewresearch.org/methods/2020/09/08/democrats-made-gains-from-multiple-sources-in-2018-midterm-victories/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>.

Even The New York Times sees the writing on the wall.
&#8220;Mr. Zeldin could win because independents are siding with Republicans on crime and inflation rather than with Democrats, whose concerns over protecting democracy take precedence,&#8221; former Clinton adviser Mark Penn <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2022/10/31/opinion/lee-zeldin-kathy-hochul-governor.html">wrote</a> in an opinion column for the Times this week.
Hochul&#8217;s response at the debate shows just how out of touch Democrats are. And in an interview with Al Sharpton on MSNBC she dismissed the issue once again. &#8220;These are master manipulators,&#8221; she said of Republicans. &#8220;They have this conspiracy going all across America trying to convince people in Democratic states that they’re not as safe. Well guess what? They’re also not only election deniers, they’re data deniers.&#8221;
Meanwhile, Democrats have misplayed their cards with Hispanics, too. The party has endlessly pushed transgender issues and drag shows in schools, but that&#8217;s a no-go for the huge voting bloc.
&#8220;A majority of Hispanic voters oppose drag queen performances for children and teachers promoting gender ideology in schools, according to a new WPA Intelligence-Visto Media poll obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller,&#8221; the news outlet <a href="https://dailycaller.com/2022/10/31/exclusive-hispanic-voters-oppose-drag-queen-kids/">reported</a>.
Opponents told the pollsters they find it &#8220;inappropriate&#8221; for teachers to push gender identity and sexual orientation with school children as young as 6, the polling data found. And 57% of Hispanics believe it’s also &#8220;inappropriate&#8221; to teach gender ideology to kids.
&#8220;Sixty-one percent of Hispanics believe it’s inappropriate for &#8216;drag queens to perform in front of children under 10 years old,'&#8221; according to the poll. Just 24% believe that drag queen performances for children are appropriate,&#8221; the Caller reported.
Other <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2022/10/27/republicans-resurgent-economy-midterms/10596369002/">polls</a> have found the predominantly Christian black and Hispanic blocs are not supportive of the gay and transgender issues being pushed by Democrats. And they’re not at all happy about the defund the police and no-bail practices spouted by liberals — mainly because in the cities, they’re the most affected by the policies.
But along with abortion, the death of democracy, and lies about Republicans planning to strip away Social Security, those are the issues Democrats have decided to focus on in Campaign &#8217;22.
They&#8217;re about to find out that was a colossal mistake.

All the latest polls show that late-breakers in the 2022 midterm elections are moving hard to the Republican side, but what&#8217;s going on in Florida is insane.
&#8220;Florida has 5.28 million registered Republicans for the Nov. 8 election — an increase of more than 86,376 from the number of Republicans registered to vote in the August primary,&#8221; the Sun Sentinel <a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/florida-republicans-register-9-new-voters-for-every-1-new-democrat-in-months-leading-to-midterms/ar-AA13vOUj">reports</a>.
&#8220;The state has 4.97 million Democrats — just 9,380 more than the number who were registered to vote in August.&#8221;
That&#8217;s more than nine Republican Floridians registered for every Democrat registered.
The explosive growth of the GOP in Florida has prompted some to ponder whether the state is still purple &#8212; able to vote red or blue, depending on the candidate.
Former President Donald Trump won Florida in 2016 and 2020, and Barack Obama won in 2008 and 2012. But with the new influx of Republican voters, that may start to change.
“It might be time to consider Florida, if not a red state, than a red-leaning state. If you’re just being factual, until the Democrats start winning races statewide with some degree of regularity, it’s hard to call it a battleground state,” Kevin Wagner, a Florida Atlantic University political scientist, told the Sun Sentinel.
The flood to the GOP goes back a decade. There are now 5.28 million registered Republicans in the state, up 24.3% from 2012. On the other hand, there are 4.97 million registered Democrats, which is just 3.96% higher than ten years ago.
The longtime swing has prompted President Joe Biden to travel to Fort Lauderdale this week in a last-ditch effort to save Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist. But the move seems pointless; the Real Clear Politics (RCP) average of all polls puts Crist behind by 12.3 points.
Biden will also try to save another Democrat, Val Demings, but she trails Sen. Marco Rubio in the RCP average by 8 points.
There&#8217;s more bad news nationally for Democrats that is likely playing out in Florida, too. Blacks and Hispanics are moving hard to the GOP.

But things are changing fast this time around as black and Hispanic voters move hard to the GOP amid skyrocketing gas and food prices and soaring crime rates across the country.

Of course, the real numbers could change after the election; the poll is merely a projection of what voters say now. But even if the jump is half that projected — let&#8217;s say 7-, 8-point increases — it would still lead to a Republican tsunami on Election Day.
While Democrats are trying to frame the November 8 election around abortion, the poll found 37% chose the economy/inflation as the most important issue, with abortion second at less than half that number (18%).

Democrats already know they&#8217;re going to get crushed in the midterms and some are already prepping their talking points for November 9: The elections were stolen because Republicans suppressed voters of color.
Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre last Tuesday said &#8220;voter suppression&#8221; and &#8220;high turnout&#8221; can take place at the same time when asked about election turnout in Georgia. President Joe Biden said the state&#8217;s voting laws amount to &#8220;Jim Crow 2.0&#8221; — but Georgia is seeing record early voting turnout.
&#8220;And speaking generally of course, more broadly, of course, high turnout and voter suppression can take place at the same time,&#8221; she <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/after-election-day-pummeling-democrats-will-play-the-race-card-hard">said</a>. &#8220;They don&#8217;t have to be, one doesn&#8217;t have to happen on its own. They could be happening at the same time.&#8221;
Jean-Pierre was asked if the White House is &#8220;observing instances of voter suppression in Georgia and other states that adopted some of these laws over the last two years.&#8221;
The answer was bizarre.
&#8220;Look, we have seen ourselves, I just laid out — we&#8217;ve seen ourselves, from what legislation, state legislation we have seen across the country that is suppressing the right to vote, and look, we believe that people should have the fundamental access to voting,&#8221; she said.
Politico, a liberal website founded by two reporters from The Washington Post, is <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2022/10/25/democrats-black-voter-turnout-00063254">pushing</a> the talking points, too. The site said blacks just aren&#8217;t coming out to vote and lamenting that the voting bloc that put Biden into office is souring on the doddering POTUS.
&#8220;After Black voters played a pivotal role in electing President Joe Biden two years ago, the strategists said that some Black voters believe that not enough has changed since, especially when it comes to the economy, gun violence, voting rights and criminal justice reform,&#8221; Politico wrote.
Even if the USA Today poll is only half right, blacks and Hispanics will decide the election — and it won&#8217;t be pretty for Democrats.

All Over But The Shouting: Blacks, Hispanics Flooding To GOP As 2022 Campaign Winds Down

To underscore the unpopularity of the so-called gender-neutral term &#8216;Latinx,&#8217; a pair of national polls found that only 1% of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/hispanics">Hispanics</a> prefer the representation that woke politicians and pundits force on a culture that has survived without since its foundation.
&#8220;Latinx&#8221; emerged in recent years as an alternative to preferred identifiers such as Hispanic and Latino through propaganda from news and entertainment outlets, corporations, government agencies, and universities in a global movement to erase gender and create a non-binary future.
WPA Intelligence, a conservative polling firm that collaborated with Visto Media on behalf of the Latino advocacy group Bienvenido, conducted a poll of 1,288 Hispanic registered Democrat, Republican, and Independent voters with a 3% margin of error earlier this month.
The latest national poll found that the community prefers to be identified as Hispanic, while others said American or Latino.
&#8220;This is pretty much consistent with everything that we&#8217;ve seen from Gallup and from other polls that show most Hispanics want to be called Hispanic, and that Latin x is not very popular in our community,&#8221; Giancarlo Sopo, media strategist for the firm, told reporters last week in a presentation. &#8220;So no surprises here.&#8221;

In a separate poll also tallied earlier this month, 1,000 register voters were asked about the term Latinx.
Respondents of the poll were asked to choose from a list of options why many Hispanics have not embraced the term, a combined 35% of Democrats blamed Hispanics rejecting the made-up term on &#8216;machismo culture&#8217; or &#8216;too much homophobia and transphobia among Hispanics,&#8221; which just over half of those opinions came from college educated white Democratic women.
According to the poll, Hispanic culture has more pressing issues to worry about rather than buying into identity politics pushed by far-left extremist groups to garner votes from minorities only to renege on their empty platitudes after another elections season completes its cycle.
Issues like crime, inflation, and the Southern Border have taken the helm of what matters most to Hispanics rather than ideas presented to fuel the culture war legacy media has forced on its viewers for decades.
Hispanics with conservative or traditional cultural backgrounds prefer discussing such social policy bends at the kitchen table.
&#8220;Hispanics do not believe that topics such as gender identity and sexual orientation should be discussed with kids,&#8221; Sopo said.
Other reasons Democrats believe the term has failed to catch on with Hispanic culture range from &#8220;right-wing disinformation&#8221; or simply because Hispanics take pride in their culture as it stands. In contrast, about 14% have no idea what the term means — among many other cultures.
Meanwhile, most Republicans said it&#8217;s because Hispanics like their culture.
The poll revealed that many Hispanic Democrats still believe left-wing disinformation from Spanish-speaking media sources, such as the false narrative police officers kill 150 or more unarmed Black men every year, the Supreme Court outlawed abortion in the nation, or former President Trump called all immigrants &#8220;animals,&#8221; rather than just referring to MS-13 gang members.
&#8220;I think a lot of the time, Democrats are too eager to brand anything and everything that they don&#8217;t like as misinformation,&#8221; Sopo said. &#8220;I&#8217;m not denying that there is misinformation in Hispanic communities — but as we saw in this poll — it is clearly not limited to right-wing sources … right-leaning audiences. There is misinformation, and I think Hispanic voters are incredibly smart and nuanced, sophisticated enough to decipher fact from fiction.&#8221;

As the midterms approach, the Democrats are bracing for what should be a red wave, at least in the House if not the Senate as well. 
The accuracy of polls can be fickle, but there is one trend the polls are most likely getting right — the shift in Hispanic voters moving more and more into the GOP camp. And it must be worrying the Democrats in their smoke-filled back rooms as they hash out their last push to election day.
A recent poll by <a href="https://americanomediapoll.com/">Americano Media</a> of likely Hispanic voters shows that, in a generic ballot, 40% will &#8216;definitely&#8217; vote Democrat, 31% Republican. 10% will &#8216;probably&#8217; vote Democrat while 6% &#8216;probably&#8217; Republican, which amounts to a 50% to 37% lead for the Democrats. That leaves a full 13% of undecided Hispanic voters — and at least half of them are leaning for the GOP. 
Why should Republicans feel confident about moving this 13% into their camp? Because the issues that matter most to undecided Hispanic voters are those on which many Republicans are running.
Of those surveyed, the most important problem was inflation (26%), then jobs/the economy (16%), then immigration (10%), then taxes/government debt (9%). Interestingly abortion is found way down the list at just three percent &#8230; this is below crime/law-and-order, healthcare and social security.
These numbers represent startling gains for the Republicans in a once-solid blue voting bloc. 
As recently as 2012, Hispanics voted overwhelmingly Democrat: 71% to 28% for the GOP. This Democrat support has eroded some 20 points as of October this year. Democrats seem baffled by this political sea change in a once-reliable ethnic voting bloc. But they shouldn’t be. One interesting clue I find is this statistic: of those surveyed 45% said they &#8216;mostly&#8217; or &#8216;only&#8217; speak English in the home. By the third generation, that number is 65%. 
As Hispanics assimilate more — learning and speaking the host country’s language is a sure sign of this process taking place, mimicking the trends of immigrants before them — they will vote not as an ethnic interest group, but as Americans. As such, a party that views everything from the prism of race tends to miss this Americanizing metamorphosis in action. It is truly one of the more remarkable aspects of this nation. And still very much alive in the legal immigrant community.
It&#8217;s becoming apparent that the Democrats have committed a grave miscalculation, born of a smugness that compels them to mislabel people whose last names just happen to be Garcia or Vega as identifying themselves solely by, and thus voting as dictated through, their ethnicity. But as Americans, Hispanics, like the Irish, like Italians, like we Deutsch Volk, care more about feeding our families, good schools, safe neighborhoods, drug-free environments, secure borders, and all the rest.
The polls may even indicate more trouble for the Democrats down the road in that for all Hispanics, regardless of party, inflation (26%) and jobs/the economy (12%) are the top concerns in 2022. Abortion is third at 10%, immigration at 9%. 
So of the top four issues, three are those in which the GOP has the edge. Add to this the sense among 71% of all Hispanics that the country is headed in the wrong direction, and the Democrats may face a day of reckoning with yet another group that is outgrowing its ethno-centric nature and assimilating into the country as a whole … again, as is the trend with immigrants from any part of the globe.
The Democrats’ only hope seems to be to bring in ever more waves of impoverished illegals who appear to be uneducated and often speak dialects such as from Oaxaca that even native Spanish-speakers find difficult to understand. The more ignorant and desperate, the more easily enticed with taxpayer-sponsored government largess, which has been the progressive Democrats’ modus operandi for two generations.
The Biden Administration could seal the border tomorrow if they so choose. But they do not see the 2.4 million illegals flooding the southern border in fiscal 2022 as a crisis overwhelming towns and straining national resources while promoting instability, but rather as a political opportunity. The only rational explanation for why the party in power refuses to secure the border is they strive to bring as many illegals into the country as they can, while they can. Once across the border, they will entice them into the party with generous handouts and benefits to create reliable future voters. Then they will push for amnesty to legalize what they see as over 20 million permanent Democrats, forever shifting power in their favor. And they believe this makes them appear more “pro-immigrant,” thus currying favor with Hispanics already here.
But something happened while the Democrats steered the country down this unconscionably cynical road: Hispanics, it turns out, actually vote like the Americans they are. They are concerned more about the price of food, gas, and housing than whether one <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/av/magazine-36094303">carries hot sauce in her purse</a> ala the shamelessly pandering Hillary Clinton in 2016. 
When it comes to making the hard choices necessary to steer the country back on the right path — a path many Hispanics agree we’re not on at the moment — Republicans are more bark than bite. But still, it is pretty clear that, when it comes to issues Hispanics care about most, the Democrats have been an unmitigated disaster.
Daniel Garza is the president of <a href="https://thelibreinitiative.com/">The LIBRE Initiative</a>, a non-profit that advances economic freedom in the Hispanic community. As far back as March 2022 he expressed what amounted to a sense of betrayal felt among Hispanics, who’d been reliable voters for progressive candidates in the past:
“Instead of making our lives better, they passed bills that spent our hard-earned money on things like corporate welfare and new regulations from Washington bureaucrats. They wasted our tax money and rewarded interest groups. Instead of empowering people to build better lives, they’ve offered a government-centered agenda.
“The results are clear,” he goes on to say in a damning indictment of the Democrat Party. “Real wages haven’t grown. Education isn’t improving — in fact, most families continue to find themselves with very limited options. Health care is more expensive, and choices are limited. And when it comes to immigration, we’re still waiting for action — for measures to allow Dreamers and others to contribute more fully to the nation, modernize our agricultural workforce and enhance border security. Many now recognize that we have little to show for our efforts…”
“…No voter will accept being taken for granted,” Garza warns, while predicting that “No one should be surprised if that leads more Hispanic voters to support conservative candidates.”
There is an innate streak of condescension in the modern Democrat Party. They seem to think that minority voters are as obsessed by their own ethnicity and race as they are in the DNC. Pandering with hot sauce while flooding the border with illegals who, common language aside, are as much a concern to Hispanic-Americans as they are to anyone else, doesn’t lower the cost of living, make cities safe, improve schools, or get fentanyl off the streets. 
The elderly, corrupt Democrat leadership is hopelessly out-of-touch. And as they scheme within the comfy confines of their Emerald City echo chamber, so pathologically obsessed with group identity, proves they have forgotten this. With Hispanic voters, this oversight could be their undoing next week.

Rep. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/mayra-flores" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mayra Flores</a> (R-TX) on Wednesday blasted <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-slammed-over-trans-remarks-democrats-are-officially-and-proudly-pro-mutilation-for-minors" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Democrats</a>&#8216; &#8220;bias toward conservative Latinas&#8221; after it was reported that Flores, the first Mexican-born woman ever elected to Congress, was denied acceptance to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) because she&#8217;s a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/republican-party" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Republican</a>.
The CHC <a href="https://www.texastribune.org/2022/10/26/mayra-flores-congressional-hispanic-caucus/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">confirmed</a> Wednesday that Flores was denied entry, in part, because she&#8217;s a Republican, after Townhall first <a href="https://townhall.com/tipsheet/juliorosas/2022/10/26/mayra-flores-prevented-from-joining-the-hispanic-congressional-caucus-n2615023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> on the reason for the rejection based on sourcing.
&#8220;As the first Mexican-born American Congresswoman, I thought the Hispanic Caucus would be open in working together,&#8221; the Republican reacted to the Townhall report via Twitter. &#8220;This denial once again proves a bias toward conservative Latinas that don’t fit their narrative or ideology.&#8221;

The caucus is exclusively made up of Democrats, and refuses to accept Republicans, including Flores, the Texas Tribune noted. The CHC, the report noted, was originally founded in 1976 and made up of both Republicans and Democrats, but the group fractured during the 1990s. Republicans left the CHC to form the Congressional Hispanic Conference in 2003.
“In 2003, led by Rep. Diaz Balart, GOP Members split from the CHC to form the Congressional Hispanic Conference. Per our bylaws, the CHC is now for Democratic Members,&#8221; CHC spokesperson and communications director Sebastian Roa said in a statement sent to The Daily Wire.

Flores has been on the receiving end of Democrats&#8217; numerous attacks, including some centered around her Mexican heritage.

Rep. Vincente Gonzales (D-TX), the Democrat congressman who ran against Flores for her <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/texas">Texas</a> House seat, paid a blogger who referred to his opponent as “Miss Frijoles,” “cotton-pickin’ liar,” and even more vile insults, according to <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2022-election/miss-frijoles-attack-roils-latino-heavy-congressional-race-texas-rcna38787">report</a> from NBC published over the summer.
Gonzales paid $1,200 to the McHale Report Blog on June 24 for “advertising services.” After the payment, the blog has repeatedly and viciously attacked Flores, calling her “Miss Frijoles” over 20 times, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/democrat-paid-advertiser-attacks-mayra-flores-as-miss-frijoles-miss-enchiladas" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Daily Wire</a> reported.
“My far left opponent, Vincent Gonzalez, hired a local blogger to run hateful &amp; racist ads against me,” Flores <a href="https://twitter.com/MayraFlores2022/status/1549093565317406721">tweeted</a> at the time. “But, I love frijoles &amp; I grew up eating frijoles. I am not embarrassed of my upbringings &amp; frijoles w/tortillas de harina is simply the best. Here’s to Miss Frijoles 2022.”
Jerry McHale, who runs the blog, has accused Flores of being a “Trump fanatic” and defended his attacks as just part of the political game. He also posted on May 13, prior to the check from the Gonzalez campaign, “Does Flores want Trump to come &amp; take her p****?”
The blog also included other attacks against Flores, including vulgar descriptions of her vagina and labeling her “Miss Enchiladas” and similar terms. Included in other posts is conversation with a friend who discusses not wanting to spend the night with Flores because of concerns about “rotten p****.”
