<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In an Instagram </span><a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DHZcVc9ITde/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=embed_video_watch_again"><span style="font-weight: 400;">post</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, Hilaria and Alec addressed the viral clip, as they joked and mouthed a few of the comments she made to the “30 Rock” star in the interview, in which she accused him of interrupting her, as previously </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/clip-of-alec-baldwin-getting-berated-by-his-wife-goes-viral-when-im-talking-youre-not-talking"><span style="font-weight: 400;">reported.</span></a></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“That is called, what&#8217;s the word of the day?&#8221; Hilaria said to her husband in the post on Wednesday.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During an Extra interview about their </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">reality show, “The Baldwins” when the couple were asked if fans could expect season two. Hilaria did not answer right away. This led Alec to joking, “The Hilaria Show.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“No, I think we are going to see, you know, we’re going to see how it feels to be out there,” Hilaria said.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“It’s gonna be great. You’re a winner,” Alec cut in, to which Hilaria said, “Oh my God. When I’m talking, you’re not talking.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I’m sorry,” the “Saturday Night Live” star replied. Hilaria responded by holding her hands up and repeating, “When I’m talking, you’re not talking.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Addressing the interviewer, the 41-year-old former yoga instructor quipped, “This is why we’ll just have to cut him out of the show.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At another point in the interview, Hilaria accused her husband of “distracting” her as he jokingly interrupted the interview.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She said, “Oh my God, you’re distracting me right now. Now you’re just doing that, why? Why are you distracting me?”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Baldwin apologized and said, “I’m just captivated by your beauty.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The actor called her “beautiful” again, which made Hilaria turn around and say again, “Oh my God! Stop, you’re annoying me. Stop. It’s not cute. No, he’s distracting me.”</span></p>

<p>Hilaria Baldwin appeared to act as a decoy on Friday, luring press to gather around her after promising a statement only to give them no new information — while her husband, actor Alec Baldwin, ducked out a side door into a waiting vehicle.</p>
<p>As the New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/01/20/hilaria-baldwin-distracts-crowd-at-nyc-home-as-alec-flees-after-rust-charges/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>, members of the press had effectively surrounded the Baldwins&#8217; home, apparently hoping to get a statement from the actor — who was <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/alec-baldwin-charged-with-involuntary-manslaughter-over-2021-rust-shooting/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">officially charged</a> earlier this week with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/are-criminal-charges-on-the-way-for-alec-baldwin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shooting</a> of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film &#8220;Rust.&#8221;</p>
<p>Stepping outside with her youngest child, nearly four-month-old Ilaria Catalina Irena Baldwin, Hilaria told reporters that she had something to say — and she instructed them to listen closely, as she was not going to repeat her statement more than once.</p>
<p>&#8220;I’m only gonna say it once. I’m going to tell you what I want to say. I want you guys to realize we have seven kids,&#8221; she said as the press gathered around her. &#8220;You being here [when I have to] escort them to school and when they come home — is not good. On a human level, you guys know I’m not going to say anything to you. You know that. So please leave my family in peace. And let this all play out.&#8221;</p>
<p>While she was talking, her husband reportedly slipped out a side door and into a waiting vehicle, driving away before anyone could ask him any questions.</p>
<p>&#8220;So let my kids come home and you stay away from them,” she said. “Because they ask me, ‘Mommy, what are these people doing?’ And it’s a very hard thing as a mom, to try and explain. So please, go home,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;I am not going to say anything and Alec is not going to say anything.&#8221;</p>
<p>She turned and walked back into the building then, offering the doorman a high-five on her way through the door.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the actor was seen in public for the first time since the charges were brought against him, shielding his face with an envelope as he walked into the Film Center Building on 9th Ave. Baldwin has said that he plans to <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/alec-baldwins-team-responds-to-criminal-charges-against-the-actor/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fight the charges</a> against him.</p>

We just scroll on with our lives, not taking time for random acts of kindness. Imagine if we began to go out of our way to be kind. It costs nothing and we all have the capacity for kindness. When I hear something kind, it makes my heart so full &amp; helps so much to dissolve negativity.&#8221;</span></p>

The actor posted a 13 minute long video where he discussed seeking “spiritual counsel” following the incident and thanking everyone who stood by him following the “Rust” tragedy. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;I’ve had more people who have been kind and thoughtful and generous of spirit than I’ve had, you know, people who are malignant,&#8221; the “30 Rock” alum said. &#8220;The death of Halyna Hutchins. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Alec’s wife Hilaria recently shared a personal anecdote on her Instagram stories detailing a peculiar incident that occurred during the birth of their son Rafael in 2015, Page Six </span><a href="https://pagesix.com/2021/12/13/hilaria-baldwin-says-alec-baldwin-shushed-her-during-birth-of-son"><span style="font-weight: 400;">reported</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. Apparently, the “30 Rock” alum told his wife to keep it down while he was on a phone call.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hilaria shared the little-known detail in response to a headline that said, “</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">When my husband told me to shush during labor I knew our marriage was over.” The 37-year-old mom of six replied saying, “Alec shushed me while I was in labor with Rafa … He was on the phone ‘Shush! Can you keep it down?’”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But Hilaria also admitted that Alec recognized his mistake pretty quickly.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“He realized he sounded like an ass and he cowered,” she continued. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The couple shares children Carmen, 8, Leonardo, 5, Rafael, 5, Romeo, 3, Eduardo, 1, and Lucia, 1 together. Hilaria said even after the shocking incident she decided to “keep the marriage.” But Alec never shushed her during labor again, the yoga instructor said.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hilaria went on to joke that Alec “pays for shushing me in labor by cleaning every bottle in the house,” before saying, “Just kidding… That never happens. Perhaps he can start now.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This funny story about being in labor isn’t the only time Hilaria shared personal details about the couple’s lives. Recently, she revealed that Alec has suffered from PTSD for a “long time.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“We oftentimes have people creating news stories about us,” </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hilaria-baldwin-alec-suffering-from-ptsd-a-very-very-very-long-time"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hilaria said</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. “My husband is suffering from PTSD right now. It’s not from what just happened recently, but he’s been suffering from this for a very, very, very long time. And these people know this and they want to poke at him and they want to upset him. And then they want to create news about this. So if you create a new story, then the next day there’s going to be tons of paparazzi and there’s going to be more stories that come off of that and there’s more clicks and more shares and money which is ultimately what this is all about.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She continued, “I’m at a place where I’m tired of not talking and I want to get to a place where I can use my voice to show you that this is not just a famous thing; this is an all-the-time thing.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Everybody has trolls,” Hilaria concluded. “Everybody has people who want to tell you whether you’re good or bad or what you think or what you feel. And you need to reclaim your voice and you’re allowed to speak.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As for that tragedy, Alec categorically denies that he’s to blame. In an interview with George Stephanopolous, the actor claimed he, </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">“</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He also maintained innocence of wrongdoing.</span></p>

<p>On Sunday, Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria was harshly criticized for insensitivity after posting a Halloween photo on Instagram of herself and her six children, writing, “‘Parenting through this has been an intense experience, to say the least.”</p>
<p>“Today, we rallied to give them a holiday,” she continued. “Last min costumes … a little hodge-podge … but they were so happy and that warmed my mama heart.&#8221;</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10151457/Alec-Hilaria-Baldwin-pose-six-kids-Halloween-photos-amid-shooting-chaos.html">photos</a> showed the family in various Halloween costumes, including Alec dressed up in a &#8220;Where the Wild Things Are” costume and Hilaria in a spider-themed costume.</p>
<p>Amid many fans offering their support, criticism was directed at Hilaria for posting about her difficulty parenting in the wake of her husband firing the gun that took the life of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who left behind a nine-year-old son.</p>
<p>The criticism included statements such as “The Baldwin kids should absolutely enjoy Halloween. This year, though, #hilariabaldwin should have kept their festivities (and herself) off social media. Halyna’s son didn’t get to enjoy this holiday. Celebrate without posting, Hillary. It’s literally the least you could do.”</p>
<p>As <a href="https://www.today.com/parents/parents/alec-hilaria-baldwin-rally-kids-together-halloween-family-photo-rcna4220">Today</a> reported, the family&#8217;s Halloween celebration &#8220;came on the day that the family of Hutchins held a private funeral for the 42-year-old wife and mother, who was killed on the New Mexico set of ‘Rust.’”</p>
<p>Alec Baldwin <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/alec-baldwin-ski-town-speaks-out-rust-movie-set-shooting">told</a> reporters on Saturday, &#8220;It&#8217;s an active investigation in terms of a woman died, she was my friend. … We were a very, very well-oiled crew shooting a film together, and then this horrible event happened.&#8221;</p>
<p>“There are incidental accidents on film sets from time to time, but nothing like this,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;This is a one in a trillion episode. It&#8217;s a one in a trillion event. … But remember, how many bullets have been fired in films and TV shows in the last 75 years. This is America. How many bullets have gone off in movies and on TV sets before? How many, billions in the last 75 years? And nearly all of it without incident. So what has to happen now is, we have to realize that when it does go wrong and it&#8217;s this horrible, catastrophic thing, some new measures have to take place. Rubber guns, plastic guns, no live &#8212; no real armaments on set. That&#8217;s not for me to decide. It&#8217;s urgent that you understand I&#8217;m not an expert in this field, so whatever other people decide is the best way to go in terms of protecting people&#8217;s safety on film sets, I&#8217;m all in favor of and I will cooperate with that in any way that I can.&#8221;</p>

<p>After being called out for her inconsistent Spanish accent and apparently misleading the public about her Spanish heritage, Hilaria — or Hillary, more accurately — Baldwin now says she identifies as culturally &#8220;fluid,&#8221; seemingly arguing that she can be culturally fluid if others can be sexually, religious, and politically &#8220;fluid,&#8221; too.</p>
<p>“When you are multi, it can feel hard to belong,” Hilaria <a href="https://www.huffpost.com/entry/hilaria-baldwin-fluid-cultural-background-post_n_60e846dae4b0639661be1a26">posted</a> to Instagram last week. “You are constantly going back and forth, trying to be more this or more that. You feel you have to explain why you are the way you are, trying to fit into a world of labels when there might not be one that perfectly defines you. You will never quite fit in because the other parts of you shape and influence all your parts.”</p>
<p>“We need to normalize the fact that we are all unique ― our culture, languages, sexual orientations, religions, political beliefs are ALLOWED TO BE FLUID,&#8221; she added. &#8220;No two of us are completely alike.”</p>
<p>Last year, Hilaria, wife to staunchly leftist actor Alec Baldwin, was hit with <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/impersonates-a-spanish-person-alec-baldwin-wife-hilaria-addresses-controversy-over-accent-spanish-culture">a wave of criticism</a> over her Spanish roots, or lack thereof.</p>
<p>“I’ve seen chatter online questioning my identity and culture,” she <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CJTiwHiDX7X/">posted</a> to Instagram at the time. “This is something I take very seriously, and for those who are asking— I’ll reiterate my story, as I’ve done many times before.  I was born in Boston and grew up spending time with my family between Massachusetts and Spain. My parents and sibling live in Spain and I chose to live here, in the USA. We celebrate both cultures in our home—Alec and I are raising our children bilingual, just as I was raised. This is very important to me. I understand that my story is a little different, but it is mine, and I’m very proud of it.”</p>
<p>Hilaria was responding to a <a href="https://twitter.com/lenibriscoe/status/1341103989878902787">viral Twitter thread</a> that accused the mother of impersonating “a Spanish person,” <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/alec-baldwin-defends-wife-hilaria-heritage-cultural-appropriation">according</a> to Fox News.</p>
<p>“You have to admire Hilaria Baldwin’s commitment to her decade long grift where she impersonates a Spanish person,” the first <a href="https://twitter.com/lenibriscoe/status/1341095257233125379">tweet</a> said. A string of tweets from the user, @lenibriscoe, then showed videos of Hilaria with a more pronounced Spanish accent in two videos, and a video where the accent is not detectable. For example, in one video, Hilaria asks how to say the word “cucumber” in English. In another post, @lenibriscoe published a screenshot of an apparent review of Hilaria’s podcast, reading, “I know Hilary Hayward-Thomas from the Cambridge School of Weston in MA. She didn’t have an accent then and didn’t change her name to Hilaria. Because she’s not Spanish! So please stop using an accent in this podcast and interrupting your guests.”</p>
<p>The Twitter user&#8217;s account, @lenibriscoe, is now locked, thus barring anyone not following the account from seeing the content.</p>
<p>In another Instagram video defending herself last year, Hilaria, whose birth name is Hillary, reiterated that she was born in Boston but spent a lot time in Spain during her childhood, noting that her immediate family lives in Spain currently. She also emphasized that she’s never claimed that her mother was Spanish, noting that she’s “a big mix of so many different things.”</p>
<p>The 37-year-old also said that it was “frustrating” trying to understand why “it [can’t] be” that she “has two cultures,” American and Spanish. “Because that is my story,” she said. “And I think that’s like a really great thing.”</p>
<p>“I’m not gonna apologize for the fact of having two versions of my name, which is the same name,” the yoga/wellness expert said, ” … it’s the same name just some letters different. This is not somebody trying to pretend to be something else; it’s literally just, you have two cultures. … That’s my life experience, and I don’t have to apologize for my life experience.”</p>
<p>Addressing her accent, Hilaria said, “I am that person, if I’ve been speaking a lot of Spanish, I tend to mix them or if I’m speaking a lot of English I mix that, it’s one of those things I’ve always been a bit insecure about.”</p>
<p>“Hilaria Baldwin has claimed she was born in Mallorca, Spain, and raised in Boston,” Fox News reported at the time. “She explained on a <a href="https://twitter.com/rachel/status/1343063509941235712">podcast</a> in April 2020, ‘I moved here [to America] when I was 19 to go to NYU from… my family lives in Spain, they live in Mallorca.’ The bilingual mother of five’s accent has also noticeably <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu5-OqiNO7k" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">fluctuated</a> over the years when she made appearances on TV.”</p>
<p>Her <a href="https://www.caa.com/caaspeakers/hilaria-baldwin#biography">CAA speaker page</a>, Wikipedia, and IMDb page, Fox News added, “all list her birth country as Spain. But Twitter users soon pointed out that her real name is Hillary Hayword-Thomas and she grew up in America.”</p>
