Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) reverted to the talking points favored by Iranian terrorists during a recent interview, referring to the United States first as the &#8220;world&#8217;s number one bully&#8221; and then &#8220;the Great Satan.&#8221;
Johnson, who first became a household name when he suggested that the Pacific island of Guam might &#8220;tip over&#8221; if too much American military equipment was placed there, made the comments while speaking with far left host Dean Obeidallah.

Johnson told Obeidallah that the United States was the quintessential playground bully, lording it over other countries that had less power simply because it was possible to do so.
“We are the world&#8217;s number one bully, and we are using our immense unrivaled power to rule over those who have less power,” he claimed, adding, “This sends a shocking message to the world that America is indeed the — what did they used to call it — the great hand of Satan, or something like that.”
“I mean, America under the Trump regime is demonstrating that that moniker is entirely accurate. That’s what we’ve become in this country, the great Satan,” he continued.
Johnson, during a congressional hearing about a military buildup on Guam, raised eyebrows when he suggested the added weight of the military equipment could cause the island to capsize.
“My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize,&#8221; Johnson said.
Admiral Robert Willard, who was serving as head of the U.S. Pacific Fleet at the time, paused and managed to give his reply with a straight face: &#8220;We don&#8217;t anticipate that.&#8221;

Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) offered up a video that he advertised as &#8220;ear candy&#8221; on Monday — a clip of himself playing guitar and singing in falsetto about the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, demanding that Republicans release the &#8220;files&#8221; in which Democrats previously had no interest whatsoever.
Johnson, perhaps best known for his concern that increasing the American military presence on the Pacific island of Guam would cause it to &#8220;capsize,&#8221; captioned the video simply, &#8220;Release the Epstein files.&#8221;

Offering &#8220;some more ear candy or perhaps an ear ache,&#8221; Johnson began to play the guitar and sing in falsetto, &#8220;Epstein died by suicide, believe that and you must be blind. You&#8217;ve been telling us you&#8217;d release the files, but where are they?&#8221;
&#8220;We&#8217;ve gone along with what&#8217;s been told, you&#8217;ve had plenty of time, you&#8217;re in control, but now you say you will withhold the Epstein files,&#8221; he continued, claiming that President Donald Trump&#8217;s administration was intentionally withholding information. Trump, along with Attorney General Pam Bondi, have maintained that the alleged &#8220;files&#8221; do not contain, as many suspected, a client list or evidence that Epstein was blackmailing celebrities and prominent political figures.
&#8220;Dreamsicle on a summer night in a folding lawn chair,&#8221; Johnson sang, &#8220;Trump&#8217;s howling at the moon, release the Epstein files soon.&#8221;
Critics were not impressed with Johnson&#8217;s musical offering, however.

‘Epstein Files’ Song Drops, Brought To You By The Dem Who Thought Guam Would Tip Over

Rep. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/hank-johnson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hank Johnson</a> (D-CA), who is infamously known for suggesting that the island of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-guam-elects-first-republican-delegate-to-u-s-congress-since-1993" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Guam</a> might &#8220;tip over and capsize&#8221; from overpopulation, floated a conspiracy theory on Thursday in response to the classified documents that were found at a Biden think tank and President Joe Biden&#8217;s home.
Johnson made the remarks to a Fox News reporter when asked about the scandal.
&#8220;My response to it all is that alleged classified documents showing up allegedly in the possession of Joseph Biden, you know, I mean, there&#8217;s so much that needs to be investigated,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And that&#8217;s, that&#8217;s what I called for is for everything to be investigated, but I&#8217;m suspicious of the timing of it.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;m also aware of the fact that things can be planted on people, places and things can be planted, things can be planted in places and then discovered conveniently, that may be what has occurred here,&#8221; he claimed. &#8220;I&#8217;m not ruling that out.&#8221;
&#8220;But I don&#8217;t, I&#8217;m open in terms of the investigation needs to be investigated,&#8221; he added.
The initial investigation <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/review-of-biden-spaces-turns-up-second-batch-of-classified-docs-report" target="_blank" rel="noopener">began</a> sometime after Biden’s personal attorney found 10 classified documents stashed in an envelope in the president’s private office at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington. The attorney discovered the envelope on November 2, though the discovery was not made public until earlier this week. The documents were immediately turned over to the National Archives for storage, Richard Sauber, special counsel to the president, said on Monday.
Sauber said in a subsequent statement that a review of Biden’s known offices, quarters, and other spaces turned up a second set of classified documents at the president’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, according to <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/12/us/biden-documents.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The New York Times</a>.
U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/merrick-garland-appoints-special-counsel-to-investigate-biden-classified-document-scandal">responded</a> to the growing controversy by announcing Thursday that he had appointed a special counsel to further investigate the matter.
Garland appointed former U.S. Attorney Robert Hur — who served during the Trump administration — to serve as special counsel in the investigation after the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch, who was assigned to do an initial review of the case, recommended to Garland that a special counsel be appointed.
“On January 5th, 2023, Mr. Lausch briefed me on the results of his initial investigation and advised me that further investigation by a special counsel was warranted. Based on Mr. Lausch’s initial investigation, I concluded that, under the special counsel regulations, it was in the public interest to appoint a special counsel,” Garland said. “In the days since, while Mr. Lausch continued the investigation, the department identified Mr. Hur for appointment as special counsel.”
The order signed by Garland said that Hur would investigate “the possible unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or other records discovered.”
“The document authorizes him to investigate whether any person or entity violated the law in connection with this matter,” Garland said at the press conference. “The special counsel will not be subject to the day-to-day supervision of any official of the department, but he must comply with the regulations, procedures and policies of the department.”

In yet another attempt by Democrats to link those who acted terribly on January 6, 2021, with conservatives standing up on other issues, Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) compared conservative parents who have protested at school board meetings to the miscreants of January 6.
Johnson’s comments dovetailed with first lady Jill Biden <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/all-books-should-be-in-the-library-jill-biden-takes-shot-at-parents-concerned-about-inappropriate-books-in-school-libraries" target="_blank" rel="noopener">implicitly criticizing parents</a> who have protested against the inclusion of inappropriate books at school libraries by insisting “All books should be in the library. All books. This is America. We don’t ban books.”
“January 6, 2021 will never be forgotten: an infamous day in American history. MAGA Republicans descended upon the Capitol, engaged in an insurrection; they occupied the Capitol,” Johnson started his diatribe. “Five people were killed; hundreds injured; including hundreds of Capitol Hill police officers, attacked and bludgeoned. It was a day that we’ll never forget.”
Then Johnson, who in a 2010 House Armed Services Committee hearing <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjG958lZ1KI" target="_blank" rel="noopener">asked a Navy admiral</a> if overpopulation could cause the island of Guam to “tip over and capsize,” linked January 6 to concerned parents protesting at school board meetings: “And people on the local level at affected school board meetings. They won’t forget the MAGA Republicans descending on their school board meetings after January 6, like January 6.”
Johnson declared that parents protesting at school board meetings were part of a “coordinated attack happening across the country,” adding, “Americans won’t forget about it. School board members, teachers, administrators subjected to violence, threats of violence, harassment, intimidation.”
Then Johnson segued to the infamous letter written by the National School Boards Association in which they claimed that some of the actions at school board meetings “could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”
Johnson claimed that in response to the “threats of violence, harassment, intimidation,” “the National School Boards Association sent a letter to the Biden administration seeking federal help. Things had gotten so far out of hand.”
“And by the way, there’s not one scintilla of evidence, either direct or indirect, that there was any coordination between the Biden administration and the National School Boards Association that caused that letter to be sent seeking federal assistance,” he insisted.
Yet the original letter acknowledged “recent discussions with White House and U.S. Department of Education staff on many critical issues facing public schools, including threats school officials are receiving.” Additionally, Chip Slaven, the CEO of the National School Boards Association <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/nsba-collaborated-with-white-house-before-letter-describing-domestic-terrorism-at-school-board-meetings-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sent an email</a> announcing the letter “was sent to President Biden concerning threats to public schools and school board members,” adding, “Additionally, in talks over the last several weeks with White House staff, they requested additional information on some of the specific threats, so the letter also details many of the incidents that have been occurring.’”
Viola Garcia, the president of NSBA, sent an email on October 2 stating, “NSBA has been engaged with the White House and the Department of Education on these and other issues related to the pandemic for several weeks now.”
The National School Boards Association <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/nsba-apologizes-for-letter-describing-potential-domestic-terrorism-at-school-board-meetings/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ultimately apologized</a> for the letter, stating, “&#8230; there was no justification for some of the language included in the letter. We should have had a better process in place to allow for consultation on a communication of this significance. We apologize also for the strain and stress this situation has caused you and your organizations.”
