The news media and the Democrats — but I repeat myself — are reeling after the release of Jake Tapper’s new book, “Oh My God, I Lied About Everything!” The book is the result of Tapper’s eight-month investigation into Jake Tapper during which Tapper discovered that almost every word out of Tapper’s mouth has been entirely untrue.
Tapper says the break in his investigation came after he managed to isolate Tapper in an interrogation room under a bright light where he continually slapped him, shouting “Confess, you two-faced bastard,” until Tapper broke under the brutal questioning and confessed to Tapper that he’d been deceiving the public for years.
In a searching interview on his CNN Show, “Jake Tapper Investigates,” Jake Tapper told Jake Tapper, “I was absolutely shocked at the depth of my duplicity. I lied about Trump’s collusion with the Russians, I lied about Trump saying there were good people among the white supremacists. You know that time I said that George Floyd’s death indicated widespread racism among police? Total BS! Oh, and how about my panic-mongering during the pandemic unleashed by China with funding from Fauci? So help me, a word of truth in my mouth would die of loneliness. Finally — get this — I actually had the gall to publish a book on the cover-up of Joe Biden’s dementia in which I pretended to take some responsibility for not covering the story. Not covering the story? I covered the hell out of it! The idea that those lies were any different than all the other lies I told — that was the biggest lie of all!”
As Tapper’s book rose on fiction bestseller lists, other journalists and Democrats — but I repeat repeating myself — also began to rake in profits by getting to the bottom of the lies they’d been telling for years.

At ABC, for instance, George Stephanopoulos, the host of &#8220;Good Morning America,&#8221; opened the show with a special report blowing the lid off the consistent dishonesty of George Stephanopoulos, the host of &#8220;Good Morning America.&#8221;
“It’s terrible to think that George Stephanopoulos would have actually gotten away with these lies if I hadn’t exposed him,” said George Stephanopoulos. “I mean, let’s go back to the very beginning of my career. All those women who said Bill Clinton was chasing after them with his wing-wang hanging out? The only one lying was me when I said they were lying. Then, when ABC hired me after all that lying, I figured they just wanted me to keep on lying, so I did. Like, remember how we spiked Amy Robach’s Jeffrey Epstein story during Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and I said I had nothing to do with the decision? Well, I did a deep dive into that incident, let me tell you, and it turned out it was me all along.”
At CBS, News President Wendy McMahon resigned after “60 Minutes” was caught editing an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris so that a learned disquisition on Middle East politics by an AI Kamala voice was dubbed over Harris’s original statement which consisted of a series of random words interrupted by loud cackling laughter. Miss McMahon said that after finding out how dishonest she was, she could no longer work with herself.

Bob Woodward has published a new 4,000-page book called &#8220;Bull,&#8221; in which Bob Woodward’s lies are exposed by an anonymous source called Deep Bob. Meeting in a shadowy underground garage, Deep Bob tells Woodward the so-called Watergate scandal was just a lot of minor mischief blown out of proportion to punish Nixon for being right about all the communists in the government. In another interview last week, former President John F. Kennedy told Woodward, “Oh, sure, my behavior was much worse than Nixon’s and no one covered that at all. Why do you think I had to leave town in such a hurry? Frankly, I think the entire history of the 20th century needs to be rewritten.”
Reacting to these revelations, former President Joe Biden said, “The whole thing’s absurd. Now all these journalists are blaming me for Trump’s re-election. What did I do? No, seriously, I can’t remember: what did I do?”

For those who don&#8217;t spend their Sunday mornings glued to the television — and their Sunday afternoons attempting to dig through a week&#8217;s worth of network and cable news media spin — The Daily Wire has compiled a short summary of what you may have missed.
Sunday&#8217;s narrative focused primarily on the terrorist attack that took place last week in New Orleans — along with a concerted effort to drive conversation away from the terror risk posed by the open southern border and toward the threat of homegrown terrorism.
As soon as it was clear that the truck attack in New Orleans had been motivated by radical Islamist ideology — coupled with conflicting reports about the truck that was used and whether it had recently crossed the border — a number, President-elect Donald Trump among them, pointed to the porous border and questioned whether more such attacks might be possible or even imminent.
But Democrats and legacy media were quick to put distance on the topic of the border and the crisis that has unfolded there under the Biden-Harris administration&#8217;s lax policies — and they emphasized the fact that at least in this particular case, the perpetrator was an American citizen who had been radicalized.
On ABC News&#8217; &#8220;This Week,&#8221; Chief Justice correspondent Pierre Thomas raised the question of how exactly the New Orleans terror suspect had been radicalized — specifically, whether ISIS had recruited him or he had come to them.
&#8220;The main focus of the investigation right now: trying to figure out if the suspect was radicalized on his own or if someone from ISIS directed him in anyway,&#8221; Thomas told anchor George Stephanopoulos.

Pelosi then pivoted to January 6th, as Congress prepares to certify the results of the 2024 presidential election, claiming that the American people had only voted for President-elect Trump a second time because they were more worried about their bank accounts than the threat of violence.

On &#8220;State of the Union,&#8221; CNN anchor Jake Tapper pressed Sen. Jim Banks (R-IN) on the issue — asking specifically whether Trump had jumped the gun when he linked terror threats in the United States to the porous border and the lax immigration policies under Biden and Harris.
&#8220;Wasn&#8217;t that premature given that this was an American citizen?&#8221; Tapper asked.
Banks pushed back, noting that former President Barack Obama had referred to ISIS as &#8220;the JV team of terrorism, and obviously they&#8217;re not.&#8221; He went on to note that Trump had essentially cut ISIS off at the knees during his first term and was prepared to do the same again.

Rep. Micheal McCaul (R-TX), Chairman Emeritus of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Homeland Security Committee, outlined the threats that he wants President-elect Donald Trump to focus on immediately after getting sworn into office.
McCaul made the remarks during a Sunday interview on ABC News&#8217; &#8220;This Week&#8221; with George Stephanopoulos while discussing 42-year-old ISIS terrorist Shamsud-Din Jabbar&#8217;s attack on New Orleans&#8217; French Quarter last week.
McCaul said that he was specifically looking forward to learning more about his month-long trip to Egypt prior to the attack since investigators have found that he produced a rare explosive compound for bombs that he made.
&#8220;What was he doing in Egypt for a month?&#8221; he asked. &#8220;It reminds me so much, George, of the Boston bomber, who traveled to Dagestan, came back, and then built this pressure cooker bomb that led to the deaths of so many people in that marathon.&#8221;
McCaul said that Trump&#8217;s incoming national security team needed to focus on vehicle attacks in light of the attack and the vehicle attack in Germany late last month.
&#8220;The other thing, I&#8217;m very worried about is, with the fall of Afghanistan and – and the debacle, and with what happened there, we are seeing a resurgence of ISIS and ISIS-K in the Khorasan region between Afghanistan and Pakistan that concerns me greatly,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Now we know that eight ISIS individuals have entered the United States through that.&#8221;
He said that the administration also needed to focus on online radicalization since more terrorists are becoming radicalized in Western countries and there are not always warning signs prior to their attacks.

Happy New Year. It’s January, 2025, the beginning of the second quarter of the 21st century and the end of all your resolutions as you slowly sink back into a pear-shaped blob careening into oblivion like George Clooney in &#8220;Gravity&#8221; but without the paycheck.
So after you’ve canceled that gym membership and put all your new workout gear on eBay, let’s gather together around the crystal ball of the imagination while I pretend to gaze into the future so I can make ridiculous predictions that I hope you’ll forget by the time I get around to claiming I was right about everything.
In politics, I predict that Donald Trump will take office January 20, and on Day One, he’ll reduce corruption in government eighty percent by not being Joe Biden. I predict that on Day One, Trump will issue a blanket pardon of half the J6 demonstrators. The other half, who are undercover FBI agents, will be put in prison where they belong. And I predict that on Day One, Trump will issue a declaration that there are only two genders, and that men are the ones with testicles, unless they’re Republicans in the House of Representatives.
In journalism, I predict ABC will fire George Stephanopoulos for intimidating women into silence until they realize that&#8217;s why they hired him in the first place, then he&#8217;ll be rehired and assigned to &#8220;The View.&#8221; I predict that CNN will double its viewership when an old man in Milwaukee forgets how to use his remote. And I predict that the New York Times will save space by publishing nothing but Trump emojis followed by crap emojis followed by crying emojis, until the paper is so simplistic and repetitive it can be written by A.I. but without the I, so it’s just A, as in “A, this paper sucks, cancel my subscription.”

In the culture, I predict the Disney company will hire an armed security force to hunt down every last person who still occasionally feels inspired or delighted or even mildly entertained by a &#8220;Star Wars&#8221; movie and compel them to watch movies with unattractive lesbians in baggy clothes having totally absurd sword fights until the viewers confess there is no such thing as a god-like Force or Jedis or manhood and that everything is meaningless and they’re sorry they ever liked &#8220;Star Wars&#8221; in the first place and we should all just die.
I predict that a starlet will show up at a French film festival wearing a completely transparent dress, and a news site will describe the outfit as “shocking” even though no one is shocked or even particularly interested.
I predict June will be gay pride month, yet, in a stunning paradox, the entire month will pass without a single person feeling proud of being gay, although there will be a general sense of relief when it’s finally July and we can just drop the entire subject which has been making everyone feel oppressively uncomfortable.
Finally, I predict that in December, a pear-shaped man will go on eBay to buy some good-as-new workout gear and discover he has sent his money to himself and now has to dig the gear out of the closet and mail it to himself so he can put it on eBay.
Those are my 2025 predictions.

ABC News shelled out $16 million to settle a lawsuit after longtime anchor George Stephanopoulos made a demonstrably false statement on the air about President-elect Donald Trump, saying that he had been held &#8220;liable for rape.&#8221; And according to a new report from the New York Post, the former Democratic strategist was repeatedly warned not to use the word &#8220;rape&#8221; before the segment aired.
Stephanopoulos was hosting the network&#8217;s flagship Sunday morning political show &#8220;This Week&#8221; – and speaking to guest Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) — when he challenged Mace to defend Trump despite the verdict in the E. Jean Carroll case, in which Trump was found liable for sexual abuse but not rape.
According to <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/12/18/media/abc-parent-disney-didnt-think-it-would-beat-trump-in-court-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the Post&#8217;s report</a>, the show&#8217;s executive producer spoke to Stephanopoulos before the show went live.
&#8220;&#8216;This Week&#8217; producer said, &#8216;Don’t use the word rape&#8217; before the segment started. The EP [executive producer] said it so many times,&#8221; the Post quoted a &#8220;network source&#8221; as saying.
Another source reportedly confirmed the warning in a text message to the Post, saying that Stephanopoulos had been instructed &#8220;not to say rape.&#8221;
Stephanopoulos did so anyway — and more than once — and the clip went viral in part because he was speaking to Mace, who has said that she is also a sexual assault survivor. Trump&#8217;s team filed suit, but Stephanopoulos was doubling down days later during an appearance on &#8220;The Late Show&#8221; with Stephen Colbert.

&#8220;I’m not going to be cowed out of doing my job because of the threat,&#8221; he said, referencing the lawsuit.
The lawsuit was settled on Saturday with just days to go before depositions were set to begin. ABC agreed, according to that settlement, to pay $15 million to a &#8220;Presidential foundation and museum to be established by or for [Trump], as Presidents of the United States of America have established in the past&#8221; in addition to $1 million to cover Trump&#8217;s attorney fees.
In addition to the payout, Stephanopoulos was instructed to apologize — and, according to <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/12/17/media/george-stephanopoulos-apoplectic-over-abc-news-settlement-with-trump/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">another report</a> from the Post, was &#8220;apoplectic&#8221; at the thought. Still, the anchor and the network released a joint statement:

During the week, the FBI <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/dhs-fbi-release-statement-about-drone-sightings-in-new-jersey" target="_blank" rel="noopener">released a statement</a> alongside the Department of Homeland Security, claiming that the majority of the sightings had likely been manned aircraft operating in a lawful manner — and while they could not give a definitive answer on what the people were seeing, they were certain that the public was not at any risk.
On ABC&#8217;s &#8220;This Week,&#8221; Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted that some of the sightings were, in fact, drones — but again said that he did not believe anyone was in danger.
&#8220;There’s no question that drones are being sighted…There are thousands of drones flown every day in the United States — recreational drones, commercial drones,&#8221; Mayorkas said, apparently suggesting that the things people were seeing were not really anything out of the ordinary.

Mayorkas also responded to claims that the drones were potentially being sent or operated by foreign adversaries, saying that he did not have any information leading him to believe that. Mayorkas told ABC host George Stephanopoulos that he had heard of &#8220;no foreign involvement with respect to the sightings in the Northeast.&#8221;

But former Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ) also weighed in on the issue, and he pointed out the fact that the longer the American people went without any definitive answers, the more likely it was that conspiracy theories would run wild about what they could be seeing.

Klobuchar also took some time to discuss a slew of pardons and commutations issued by President Joe Biden as his presidency nears its end.
While Biden&#8217;s Thanksgiving weekend pardon for his embattled son Hunter Biden certainly raised the most eyebrows — on both sides of the political aisle — Klobuchar noted that just by sheer volume, Biden was testing the limits of what she found to be acceptable.
Klobuchar first said that she was among those who did not like the fact that Biden had pardoned his son — but then said she also worried about the some 1500 sentence commutations he issued in the past week.
She proposed an &#8220;outside board&#8221; to aid the president in selecting cases for pardons or sentence commutations &#8220;instead of people just doing it in the middle of the night, and people in the White House — this makes no sense to me.&#8221;
&#8220;This whole process cries out for reform, because otherwise you undermine the justice system,&#8221; she added.

But on CNN&#8217;s &#8220;State of the Union,&#8221; retiring Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) said that despite having often been at odds with Trump himself, he was not overly concerned that the president-elect might use the Justice Department to attack those who had opposed him.

For those who don&#8217;t spend their Sunday mornings glued to the television — and their Sunday afternoons attempting to dig through a week&#8217;s worth of network and cable news media spin — The Daily Wire has compiled a short summary of what you may have missed.
The southeastern United States — particularly Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee — are still reeling from the impact of Hurricane Helene, which first made landfall in Florida nearly 10 days ago and has since become the deadliest hurricane to hit the mainland U.S. since Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005.

In the midst of the devastation, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has taken some criticism over funds set aside through another program over the last several years to help cover the astronomical costs of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/karine-jean-pierre-falsely-claims-fema-is-not-funding-migrant-resettlement-amid-hurricane-helene" target="_blank" rel="noopener">migrant resettlement</a> resulting from the Biden-Harris administration&#8217;s abject refusal to stop illegal immigrants at the southern border.
But as critics have pointed that out — and have also noted that several civilian aid operations have been <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/whistleblowers-accuse-fema-of-misappropriating-funds-leaving-first-responders-without-orders" target="_blank" rel="noopener">thwarted by FEMA</a> as they were trying to help — media and Biden-Harris surrogates have scrambled to run cover for the organization.
On ABC&#8217;s &#8220;This Week,&#8221; anchor George Stephanopoulos brought in FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell to defend the agency and the work it was doing — and she used some of her time to complain about the people criticizing FEMA&#8217;s response to the still unfolding crisis in the southeastern United States.
&#8220;It&#8217;s frankly ridiculous and just plain false,&#8221; she said. &#8220;This kind of rhetoric is not helpful to people. You know it&#8217;s really a shame that we&#8217;re putting politics ahead of helping people — and that&#8217;s what we&#8217;re here to do. We&#8217;ve had the complete support of the state. We&#8217;ve had the local officials helping to push back on this dangerous — truly dangerous — narrative that is creating this fear of trying to reach out and help us or to register for help. You know, people need resources, and we need them to get into the system. And it&#8217;s just, you know, a shame that people are sitting home on their comfortable couches while we have thousands of people here on the ground that have left their own families to be able to help those in need.&#8221;
What Criswell did not mention was the fact that a number of the criticisms had come from <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/whistleblowers-accuse-fema-of-misappropriating-funds-leaving-first-responders-without-orders" target="_blank" rel="noopener">civilian volunteers</a> on the ground in hurricane-ravaged areas who had been trying to get help to those who needed at and got tangled up in red tape instead.

On CNN&#8217;s &#8220;State of the Union,&#8221; anchor Dana Bash pressed Lara Trump to answer for former President Donald Trump — who criticized FEMA&#8217;s response from the rally stage in Butler, Pennsylvania.
&#8220;He said that FEMA is only offering $750 to Americans who have had their homes destroyed,&#8221; Bash said. &#8220;That&#8217;s not true. He&#8217;s also echoing conspiracy theorists online who falsely claim that the administration&#8217;s redirecting disaster money for undocumented immigrants. That&#8217;s also not true.&#8221;

Anchor Kristen Welker tried a similar approach with Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), but he made it clear he was having none of that.
Welker argued that some were falling for narratives like &#8220;the idea that FEMA funds are being redirected to migrants which is not true.&#8221;
&#8220;It is true, that FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security have been spending billions of dollars on migrants,&#8221; Cotton shot back. &#8220;We just passed a short term spending bill, very common for the [Biden &#8211; Harris] administration to come and ask for permission to move money between funds, especially to prepare for emergencies.&#8221;
&#8220;This administration seems to have no problem finding money when they want to spend it on their priorities. [Illegals] When they need 100s of billions of dollars to pay off student loans for graduate students and gender studies programs, they somehow find it,&#8221; Cotton continued. &#8220;When it&#8217;s trying to get helicopters to deliver food and water and cellular service and life saving medicine into these mountain valleys, they somehow can&#8217;t seem to find the money.&#8221;

And on MSNBC&#8217;s &#8220;Inside with Jen Psaki,&#8221; the former White House Press Secretary spoke with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg about the situation. Buttigieg, unsurprisingly, ran with the same talking point as the others — namely that FEMA was fine, everything was fine, and the real damage was being done by the people who dared to question the administration&#8217;s response in any way.
&#8220;[Misinformation] can have a real cost for people on the ground,&#8221; he said. &#8220;If you look at what’s going on online, a lot of it seems to be driven by politics and that is actively harming and disrupting the process of getting back to normal.&#8221;

ABC News host George Stephanopoulos, a lifelong Democrat who worked in the Clinton administration, threw a fit during an interview over the weekend that former President Donald Trump and one of his sons blamed Democrats for the assassination attempts on the former president.
Stephanopoulos had the meltdown during an interview with House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-CA) when asked about the recent remarks.
The man who shot Trump in the ear during an attempted assassination in July had previously donated to a far-left cause while another man who was arrested for an attempted assassination in September had a history of donating to Democrats dozens of times.
&#8220;Is it right for the president and his family to suggest that Democrats are behind the effort to assassinate him?&#8221; Stephanopoulos asked.
Johnson responded: &#8220;I don&#8217;t think they&#8217;re saying that Democrat Party tried an assassination attempt.&#8221;
&#8220;I think what they&#8217;re alluding to is what we’ve all been saying,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;They have got to turn the rhetoric down. For years now the leading Democrats in this country, the highest elected officials and the current nominee for president have gone out and said that Donald Trump is a threat to democracy. That the republic will end if he&#8217;s re-elected.&#8221;
&#8220;It&#8217;s absolute nonsense,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;And they have incited dangerous people to do dangerous things. The rhetoric has. I think that is a fact that&#8217;s objective that everybody can agree to. We do need to turn the volume down.&#8221;
Stephanopoulos became incensed that Johnson blamed the extreme rhetoric of the Democratic Party for the shootings and demanded to know if Johnson supported the remarks from the Trump family.
&#8220;What they&#8217;re referring to is the absolute open attacks that have been engaged by Democrats against President Trump since the day he came down that golden escalator in 2016, OK?&#8221; Johnson said. &#8220;The lawfare is unprecedented. They have attacked him in every single way. They try to malign his character every single day. And the people have had enough of it. That&#8217;s why you have these massive turnouts at the rallies. People have had enough of this.&#8221;
Stephanopoulos then accused Johnson of &#8220;repeating the charge&#8221; and again demanded to know if Johnson supported the statement.
&#8220;George, I&#8217;m not going to parse the language what people say at rallies,&#8221; Johnson said. &#8220;I could give you pages and pages of crazy comments by the leading Democrats in this country. That&#8217;s not what this is about. We have to talk about the greatest collection of challenges that this country is facing probably since World War II, maybe the Civil War.&#8221;
Stephanopoulos continued to harp on the issue for another few minutes before he eventually changed the subject.

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) slammed ABC News host George Stephanopoulos, who was the Press Secretary for President Bill Clinton (D), during an interview over the weekend after Stephanopoulos yelled at and scolded Donalds for responding to his questions about former President Donald Trump&#8217;s remarks on Vice President Kamala Harris&#8217; race.
Donalds made the remarks during a Sunday interview on &#8220;This Week&#8221; when asked about Trump&#8217;s remarks last week about Harris&#8217; racial identity.
Donalds said that the entire ordeal was a &#8220;phony controversy&#8221; that most people do not care about but added that in the past, even publications like the Associated Press had referred to Harris in headlines the &#8220;first Indian-American US Senator.&#8221;
&#8220;It doesn&#8217;t really matter. The president mentioned it,&#8221; Donalds said. &#8220;What he also talks about far more frequently is the fact that Kamala Harris is the person who created this massive inflation which is destroying black families, white families, Hispanic families. It&#8217;s her failure as border czar that has left our southern border wide open. More than 10 million illegal immigrants coming into our country. Record fentanyl coming into our country which has killed more Americans than at any other point in the history of our country with respect specifically to fentanyl.&#8221;
Stephanopoulos fired back at Donalds and accused him of having &#8220;just repeated the slur again&#8221; and demanded to know why Donalds was questioning Harris&#8217; racial identity.
&#8220;Well, George, first of all, this is something that&#8217;s actually a conversation throughout social media right now,&#8221; Donalds said. &#8220;There were a lot of people who were trying to figure this out. But again, that&#8217;s a side issue, not the main issue.&#8221;
Stephanopoulos exploded at that point, yelling on live television: &#8220;You just did it — you just did it again. Why do you — why do you insist on questioning her racial identity?&#8221;
He demanded that Donalds answer his question, to which Donalds responded: &#8220;George, now that you&#8217;re done yelling at me, let me answer. He talked about it on the stage yesterday in Atlanta for, what, two minutes? He spent more than 35, 40 minutes going after her record, talking about how radical of a senator that she was. She was the most liberal senator in the United States Senate. That is a fact. He talked about the job that she did as vice president of the United States. A job, I will add, which has been a failure for the American people. I know you guys like to glom on to this, that he talks about in jest or in a serious manner for about a minute or so. What you do not cover is the litany of failures of Kamala Harris. That&#8217;s what you&#8217;re not covering, George.&#8221;
&#8220;So questioning somebody&#8217;s racial identity for a couple of minutes is OK?&#8221; Stephanopoulos asked.
Donalds again noted that prior mainstream media coverage, like the AP headline, is what started the entire conversation to begin with.
&#8220;I mean, George, we could have this conversation for the entire segment, but none of this matters to the American people,&#8221; he said. &#8220;What matters to the American people is, are we going to have the same policies of the Biden-Harris administration that has been destructive of the American people? Or are we going to have the policies of the Trump administration which put America first, had low inflation, prosperous Americans no matter your race, no matter your color, no matter your creed, and a foreign policy that kept America safe?&#8221;
&#8220;Those are the facts that truly matter because this issue is going to come and go, the lives of the American people is what&#8217;s going to remain and that&#8217;s what matters more than anything else,&#8221; he added.
Stephanopoulos then accused Donalds of repeating it the issue, even though it was Stephanopoulos who had first brought up the matter and then repeatedly hounded Donalds over it.
&#8220;George, actually, I&#8217;m not the one who keeps repeating it,&#8221; Donalds responded. &#8220;George, you&#8217;re the one that&#8217;s bringing it up now.&#8221;
&#8220;Sir, you&#8217;ve done it — you&#8217;ve done it three times, every single answer you gave me,&#8221; Stephanopoulos claimed. &#8220;Every single answer you gave, you repeated the slur.&#8221;
Donalds responded: &#8220;George, you asked me the question three times.&#8221;

ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos said this week that he does not believe that President Joe Biden is physically and mentally capable of serving another term in office — a brutal assessment following his recent interview with the 81-year-old president.
Stephanopoulos made the remarks in a video that was obtained by TMZ on Tuesday, just a few days after his Friday interview with the president in which Biden tried and failed to stop talks by members of his party about getting him to drop out of the presidential race following his disastrous debate performance against former President Donald Trump late last month.
“Do you think Biden should step down?” the person recording the video asked Stephanopoulos. “You’ve talked to him more than anybody else has lately.”
“I don’t think he can serve four more years,” Stephanopoulos responded.
“You don’t think he can serve four more years?” the questioner repeated before adding: “All right, that’s an answer.”

Stephanopoulos Caught On Camera After Biden Interview: ‘I Don’t Think He Can Serve Four More Years’

Congress is back in session, which means Democrats are now going to have to answer questions about whether Joe Biden ought to remain the nominee.
The big question in Democratic circles is whether he stays or whether he goes. Biden’s a stubborn old man, so he really wants to stay. He is now channeling Jennifer Holliday from the original Broadway production of “Dreamgirls”: “I&#8217;m staying, I&#8217;m staying. And you, and you, you&#8217;re gonna love me.”
Last Friday, Biden tweeted out that he is staying. He <a href="https://x.com/JoeBiden/status/1809310761933525304" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stated</a>, “Let me say this as clearly as I can: I’m the sitting President of the United States. I’m the nominee of the Democratic party. I’m staying in the race.”
We know that&#8217;s not really what he would say if he could say it as clearly as he could because if he could say it verbally, it would sound more like this: “Let me say this: ipqucovmskcuecyehw, c’mon, man.”
The same day of the tweet, Biden held a rally in Wisconsin where he insisted he would not drop out. At this rally, he <a href="https://www.axios.com/2024/07/05/biden-remains-presidential-race-wisconsin-rally" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>, “You probably heard he had a little debate last week. I can&#8217;t say it&#8217;s my best performance. But ever since then, there&#8217;s been a lot of speculation: What’s Joe going to do? Is he going to stay in the race? Is he going to drop out? What’s he going to do? Well, here&#8217;s my answer: I am going to run and I’m going to win again.”

There was only one problem at this rally where he was trying to pretend to be alive: He died on the stage. He explained that he was going to win again in 2020. Apparently, Biden either has a mental problem, or he has discovered a time machine.
“I will beat Donald Trump. I will beat him again in 2020,” he yelled.
At the very least, if he&#8217;s going to use the time machine, he should go back to 1856 and beat James Buchanan.
A <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/02/politics/cnn-poll-post-debate/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">new survey</a> from CNN says that 75% of voters think the Democratic Party would have a better chance against Donald Trump if they backed another candidate. More than 50% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning registered voters agreed with that election sentiment.
That is a massive problem for Biden. He is stubborn as he wants to be, but the pressure is ratcheting up inside the Democratic Party, and it became stronger on Friday night with <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/abc-news-anchor-george-stephanopoulos-exclusive-interview-biden/story?id=111695695" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the interview</a> he did with George Stephanopoulos.
The presidential nomination was at stake in the interview because if Biden had appeared lively and sprightly, if his lie that his debate with Trump was just an off-night looked like it was true, he might have been able to get this train back on the rails.
The question was whether Stephanopoulos was going to try to massage him back into some form of actual living embodiment or whether he would put a pillow over his face and smother the old man.

He wasn&#8217;t asking particularly hard questions if Biden were essentially a person and not a vegetable. But the problem is that Biden is now a rutabaga.
Stephanopoulos asked Biden: “Are you the same man today that you were when he took office three-and-a-half years ago?”
Biden: “In terms of successes, yes.”
Stephanopoulos: “But what has all that work over the last three-and-a-half years cost you physically, mentally, emotionally?”
Biden: “Well, I&#8211; I&#8211; I just think it cost me a really bad night, bad run.”
Stephanopoulos: “What I&#8217;m asking you is, about your personal situation. Do you dispute that there have been more lapses, especially in the last several months?” 
Biden: “Can I run the 100 (meters) in 10 flat? No, but I&#8217;m still in good shape.”
Stephanopoulos: “Are you more frail?”
Biden “No.”
Meanwhile, Stephanopoulos is thinking of sneaking behind the hospital bed to pull the plug.
In that interview, one of the people on the screen was going to exit that interview dead: either Stephanopoulos for trying to massage Biden back to life or Biden with the plug pulled by Stephanopoulos.
They had to ratchet up the audio level in order to pick up the voice of the president of the United States because that&#8217;s how weak he was in this interview. Stephanopoulos, for his part, was really trying to push Biden over the cliff while Biden was grabbing like a cartoon character onto the edge of the cliff with his fingernails like Wile E. Coyote.
CNN reported that after the interview, team Biden thought he did amazingly well. Of course they were going to say that because what were they going to say? That he did horribly?
Meanwhile, we now know that Hunter Biden is the gatekeeper for the president of the United States, according to <a href="https://www.axios.com/2024/07/07/biden-democrats-drop-election-campaign">Axios</a>, who reported, “We&#8217;re now in uncharted, historic waters: President Biden — backed by first lady Jill Biden and his convicted son, Hunter, who&#8217;s serving as de facto gatekeeper for longtime friends — says that nothing, besides an act of God, will persuade him to quit his re-election campaign.”
When Congress comes back into session, there will be reporters all over the House and they&#8217;ll be asking every Democratic House member if they believe that Biden is either sentient or whether he can beat Donald Trump.
It&#8217;s going to be a disaster area for Joe Biden this week.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/democrats" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Democrats</a> in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/congress" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Congress</a> are signaling that a growing number of their colleagues will publicly call on President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> to drop out of the 2024 race after his first TV interview following a poor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/debates" target="_blank" rel="noopener">debate</a> performance failed to reassure them.
Axios <a href="https://www.axios.com/2024/07/06/biden-abc-interview-house-democrats-reaction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published</a> a report on Saturday that cited unnamed lawmakers saying the handful of House Democrats who had already come forward urging Biden to end his bid would soon have company.
&#8220;The drip drip is about to be more than that,&#8221; one anonymous lawmaker told the news outlet. A second lawmaker said, &#8220;We&#8217;ll certainly amp up the public pressure as needed.&#8221;
The report also featured quotes from an unnamed House Democrat saying, &#8220;No one&#8217;s mind has been changed,&#8221; as well as, &#8220;a growing number of lawmakers agree &#8220;it&#8217;s time&#8221; for Biden to step aside and are &#8220;hoping to give him space to do this on his own.&#8221;
A different House Democrat said Biden&#8217;s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/read-it-transcript-of-bidens-first-tv-interview-after-his-poor-debate-performance" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview Friday on ABC News</a> was &#8220;not impressive.&#8221; This unnamed lawmaker also predicted that Biden is &#8220;toast&#8221; in November if he stays in the race against former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a>.
Yet another House Democrat claimed to be &#8220;shocked&#8221; at Biden&#8217;s &#8220;refusal to recognize reality&#8221; in terms of polling and his &#8220;failure to make an argument about why he wants a second term,&#8221; per the report from Axios.
Biden, who <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kpibhlagG0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">spoke to</a> &#8220;This Week&#8221; anchor and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-to-sit-for-interview-with-former-clinton-flack-after-poor-debate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">former Clinton flack</a> George Stephanopoulos, insisted <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-claims-only-way-hell-drop-out-is-if-the-lord-almighty-comes-down-and-tells-me-that" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the only way</a> he will end his re-election campaign is “if the Lord Almighty comes down and tells” him to quit. He also argued that polls showing him down in the race are off the mark.
While some in Congress have been defending Biden, four House Democrats had publicly called on Biden to put an end to his campaign heading into Saturday. They included: Reps. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/lawmaker-becomes-first-democrat-to-publicly-call-on-biden-to-step-down-after-debate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lloyd Doggett</a> (D-TX), Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ), Seth Moulton (D-MA), and Mike Quigley (D-IL).
Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN), whose district is <a href="https://www.cookpolitical.com/ratings/house-race-ratings" target="_blank" rel="noopener">considered to be &#8220;Lean Democrat&#8221;</a> in the 2024 &#8220;House Race Ratings&#8221; from The Cook Political Report, joined them with the release of a <a href="https://x.com/AngieCraigMN/status/1809577054062432688" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a> on Saturday.
