When Donald J. Trump rises with his fist to the sky, his bloody face like flint, we are reminded what it truly means to be a man in our country.
Strong men lay down their lives. Strong men raise their hands as weapons of strength. Strong men “Fight! Fight! Fight!”
Strong men do not fumble around onstage wondering which way to turn. Strong men do not invite deranged TikTok stars to the White House whose biggest accomplishment this year is getting breast implants. Strong men do not stand in front of the rainbow flag and claim “transgender people shape the soul of America.” No. Weak men do that.
Weak men applaud deranged men who dance around in dresses and call themselves girls. Weak men claim children should be allowed to “change’ their biological sex while ignoring the fact that this renders children mutilated and infertile. Weak men appoint women to run the Secret Service simply because of their gender, when bodyguards are big, strong imposing men for good reason.
Not only is Biden a weak and feeble man, but he is totally deranged in his understanding of femininity and masculinity. When the man at the top doesn’t exude masculine strength, this trickles all the way down to the children who are upside-down in their understanding of gender.
This is our nation’s fate at stake: we can either have a weakling or a warrior.
Biden’s asinine DEI policies led to the hiring of a female head of the secret service, Kimberly Cheatle, whose goal is to have “30% female secret service members by 2030.” Her goal is not to find the strongest, toughest defenders and protectors of our society — men who train like navy seals — but females, who will never be as strong as males no matter how hard they try.
Here’s the truth whether or not Biden can admit it: An adult woman’s upper body strength is half as strong as that of an adult man’s and two-thirds as strong in the lower body. Men can punch two and a half times harder than women. 90% of females have weaker hands than 96% of males. In her book &#8220;The Case Against the Sexual Revolution&#8221; Louise Perry writes, “The unwelcome truth will always remain, whether or not we can bear to look at it; almost all men can kill almost all women with their bare hands, but not vice versa. And that matters.” The truth is, men are biologically predisposed to protect us in wartime. They are our greatest weapons.
During my hundreds of hours of research into the meaning of “male and female” in the Book of Genesis, I discovered the first letter of the word male reveals the action of his gender: the Hebrew letter zayin is a picture of a weapon. The male is the greatest weapon to protect the family. What is true for the family is true for the nation.
Let’s be clear: the woman who acted as a human shield to the President is a woman of valor. There’s no need to take cheap shots at her. She displayed courage and bravery. Nevertheless, placing women as human shields of the President of the United States is the catastrophic result of the demolition of gender in our society. Women aren’t wired for this.
Cheatle’s goal to have one third of the secret service filled by females has zero benefit for national security. The woman standing in front of Trump looks to be about 5’5”; Trump is 6’3”.
A Secret Service agent should be able to shield a president with their physical size, move him with physical force, and engage in hand-to-hand combat if necessary. As Officer Tatum points out, they should be elite forces who command an intimidating presence and should be a large, imposing person of at least 6’2”. None of the women assigned to this security detail fulfilled those qualifications. He points out that women often have insights into criminals that men don’t, but physical fitness standards should be 100% the same across the board.
As a Daily Wire subscriber writes, 
<blockquote>As a female and a former military personnel, I would love to say that 30% more females would mean a better protective force. But my experience tells me otherwise, and so does common sense. Infantry men are expected to be able to carry 60-100 lbs of extra gear, and still be able to carry their buddy who also has extra gear to safety if they need arises. I can&#8217;t physically do that even when I&#8217;m in my best shape. Most women can&#8217;t. To protect the president you have to be big enough to physically block his body from attack.</blockquote>
This is a job for men, and it’s not sexist to say so. DEI denies the way men and women are made. It is a lie and an affront to the masculinity we need to protect our nation in times of war.
Women can think strategically and bring incredible administrative and leadership skills to the table, but when it comes to the Secret Service, they should not take the place of human shields. We are created to be protected by men, not the other way around. Men are wired for combat, women are not.
Now our country has a question to answer: do we want a weakling or a warrior at the helm? The answer is obvious.

The Irish government has been served the mother of all wake-up calls.
Having spent 24 million euros in taxpayer money on a virtue-signaling effort to convince the nation to remove the word “mother” from its Constitution, the Irish government was dealt a swift clip around the ear this past weekend with a <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ireland-looks-set-reject-constitutional-changes-2024-03-09/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">resounding defeat</a> of its latest “progressive” referendum.
The proposed changes would have removed provisions that recognize and honor women’s service to society in raising the next generation of responsible citizens:
<blockquote>… the State recognises that by her life within the home, woman gives to the State a support without which the common good cannot be achieved.
The State shall, therefore, endeavour to ensure that mothers shall not be obliged by economic necessity to engage in labour to the neglect of their duties in the home.</blockquote>
A “yes” result would have replaced this language with a gender neutral alternative, obliging the State more vaguely to support care within the home and the community. It might seem like a small tweak. And certainly, there are some men who play a significant role as stay-at-home dads. But the male and female experiences in the workplace, home, and society-at-large are different. Women and men are not interchangeable. The pressures placed on mothers are unique. It’s she, having birthed the child in an experience that no man can replicate, who then navigates the delicate balance of work-versus-family.
Irish mothers, it would seem, knew best — with a thundering 74% vote in favor of protecting the original wording of the constitution.
The data has always supported such an outcome — which the government might have noticed, had they not blindly assumed that they could speak for the women of Ireland. <a href="https://everymum.ie/my-family/two-thirds-of-irish-mothers-would-prefer-to-stay-home-instead-of-going-to-work" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Two-thirds</a> of Irish mums would prefer to stay at home to parent full-time, than return to work — if only they could afford it.
It’s a sentiment echoed across the West, with <a href="https://time.com/4068559/gallup-poll-stay-at-home-mothers/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">56%</a> of American mums agreeing that they’d prefer to stay home and prioritize child-raising over career advancement. Over a <a href="https://www.civitas.org.uk/2023/05/10/mothers-preferences-over-childcare-and-work/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">third</a> of their British counterparts concur. Today’s model of “boss babe” feminism typically stigmatizes this dream, requiring women regain social status by rejoining the rat race to the boardroom as soon as possible after giving birth.
But what have we gained from such a model? A plummeting birth rate, for one. The pressure on women to spend their twenties and thirties advancing through zoom calls and office cubicles has surely played a hand in the birthrate recently <a href="https://www.breakingnews.ie/ireland/irelands-birth-rate-drops-sharply-to-reach-lowest-level-in-decades-1598551.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">falling</a> to the lowest level on record in six decades. A generation of disillusioned women have been schooled that their value in society depends on their GDP contribution, rather than their input into raising the next generation.
Western governments have taken “maternity policy” to largely mean cheaper outsourcing of childcare, to allow women to return to work as soon as possible — rather than finding creative solutions to support women’s choices to prioritize parenting, and invest in raising the next generation. The outcome for society is yet to be fully unpacked. U.S. studies <a href="https://www.nichd.nih.gov/sites/default/files/publications/pubs/documents/seccyd_06.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">show</a> that lots of hours spent in outsourced daycare can have a link to increased aggression and disobedience in children, poorer relationships with teachers, and a higher susceptibility to risk-taking at the age of 15 — including through sex, drugs and alcohol use.
It’s not only an outdated concept of Carrie Bradshaw feminism that is downgrading the value and respect attributed to mums. The growing practice of surrogacy demands the commercialization of motherhood — downgrading the role of a pregnant mother as a mere “incubator” for a product to be passed on to a customer. An increasing trend amongst gay men growing a family through surrogacy is to announce the news on social media with their shirts off, in a hospital bed, posing as if post-birth. UK Law Commission proposals would seek to enable two dads in such a situation to be named on the birth certificate on the day, thus erasing both the legal and social role of a mother in the life of the child she carried and delivered.
There’s no question about it — dads are amazing, and are necessary in a child’s life. But a thousand excellent dads cannot replace one mum — and her unique, feminine, nurturing role. The life of a mother is an often thankless task. Ireland are miles ahead of the rest of the West in acknowledging her irreplaceable role within their constitution. It’s time now to put their words into practice — by honoring mums with better, more flexible work options, and the ability to make an empowered choice to stay absent from the workforce for the length of time she deems necessary to raise her children.
The Irish government have talked a strong game about supporting “choice” in recent years. If that’s the case, it’s long past time to support a woman’s choice to be a committed mum.

The Biden administration is pushing countries to “accelerate” their climate action and spending $3 billion in taxpayer dollars as a pledge to climate and &#8220;gender equity&#8221; funds, the White House announced Saturday. 
At the Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai, the White House <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2023/12/02/fact-sheet-biden-harris-administration-leverages-historic-u-s-climate-leadership-at-home-and-abroad-to-urge-countries-to-accelerate-global-climate-action-at-u-n-climate-conference-cop28/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vowed</a> to spend $3 billion to help its international partners “mobilize finance at the pace and scale required.” Vice President Kamala Harris officially announced the move during her remarks at the COP28 conference where she also laid the groundwork for “a series of new, historic actions across every sector of the economy, including energy supply, transportation, and buildings – all while advancing environmental justice and promoting climate resilient communities.”
“The U.S. is committed to expanding international climate finance,” Harris <a href="https://twitter.com/vp/status/1730904644652556662?s=46&amp;t=o-U3qwC25WnWaylJ0oeG7Q">said</a>. “I am proud to announce a new $3 billion pledge to the Green Climate Fund to help developing countries access capital to invest in resilience, clean energy, and nature-based solutions.”
Buried deep in the White House fact sheet are commitments to advancing “gender equity amid climate change,” which include an additional $449 million for new programs such as Global Girls Creating Change, a program that seeks to give 900 girls and young women in 29 different countries “professional opportunities in the sustainable economy.” 
The White House said the Rockefeller Foundation will be committing $25 million to the Co-Impact Gender Fund, seeking to “advance gender equity amid climate change.” The UPS Foundation is also committing $3 million to the Climate Gender Equity Fund “to foster a greener world and create economic opportunities for women.” 
The White House’s fact sheet on the initiative credited the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which were passed by Congress and signed by President Joe Biden over the past two years, for pushing the U.S. toward reaching its emissions target dictated by the Paris Climate Agreement. After getting into the White House, Biden immediately <a href="https://www.state.gov/the-united-states-officially-rejoins-the-paris-agreement/">rejoined</a> the Paris Climate Agreement a few months after former President Donald Trump <a href="https://www.npr.org/2020/11/03/930312701/u-s-officially-leaving-paris-climate-agreement">withdrew</a> the U.S. from the accord in 2020. 
The Paris Climate Agreement emphasizes “gender equality” and “international equity” in its preamble, <a href="https://unfccc.int/sites/default/files/resource/Brief_Gender%20in%20the%20work%20of%20the%20AC.pdf">stating</a>, “Parties should, when taking action to address climate change, respect, promote and consider their respective obligations on human rights, the right to health, the rights of indigenous peoples, local communities, migrants, children, persons with disabilities and people in vulnerable situations and the right to development, as well as gender equality, empowerment of women and intergenerational equity.”

The U.N. also <a href="https://unfccc.int/sites/default/files/resource/Brief_Gender%20in%20the%20work%20of%20the%20AC.pdf">focuses</a> on gender in its climate policy, claiming, “Gender is a relevant point of analysis for developing and implementing climate policy and action.” The U.N. also states that “gender is socially constructed,” adding that a “gender-responsive approach” to climate policy “is critical to understanding vulnerability and to effectively adapt to and mitigate the impacts of climate change.”

On Friday, September 1, the California assembly’s appropriations committee held a <a href="http://cferfoundation.org/posts" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hearing</a> in which they <a href="http://billtrack50.com/billdetail/1576426" target="_blank" rel="noopener">voted</a> to move forward with a bill that would strip California’s Constitution of its protections against racial discrimination. 
Currently, California’s Constitution asserts:
<blockquote>“The State shall not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to, any individual group on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in the operation of public employment, public education, or public contracting.” </blockquote>
The  bill, called ACA-7, seeks to amend this section of the State Constitution by adding: 
<blockquote>“The State may use state money to fund research-based, or research-informed, and culturally specific programs in any industry, including, but not limited to, public employment, public education, and public contracting, if those programs are established or otherwise implemented by the State for purposes of increasing the life expectancy of, improving educational outcomes for, or lifting out of poverty specific groups based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, or marginalized genders, sexes, or sexual orientations.” </blockquote>
In short, California Democratic lawmakers don’t like the simple yet unequivocal ban on discrimination in the State’s Constitution. They want to replace it with a system where all the California government has to do is find an academic paper or professor claiming that their race-based programs and affirmative action initiatives do, in fact, “improve educational outcomes” or “lift out of poverty” certain minorities, and they can go on discriminating based on race, forcing Californians’ tax dollars to support race-based preferential treatment in perpetuity.
It is quite ironic and very sad that California Democrats have gotten to a point where they are so convinced that they are the ones fighting for justice and individual rights while openly championing a bill that would destroy the protections that grant every American the same rights and opportunities, the protections that allow every American to be assessed based on their own merit and character, regardless of the color of their skin. Of course, the supporters of ACA-7 believe that certain groups — blacks, for example — have been so marginalized by past discrimination and by current institutional racism, that treating everyone the same and providing everyone with the same opportunities regardless of race is actually a form of injustice. Yes, there are real income and achievement gaps for blacks and Hispanics in this country. But racial discrimination will not solve those problems. Racial discrimination should never be the answer in any context. It will create a country divided into groups constantly fighting over which group gets to be raised up and which group has to be pushed down. ACA-7 is a morally abhorrent bill because it would enshrine that kind of division.
California Democrats likely won’t find my arguments above convincing, but they should still drop ACA-7. Why? Because it’s a losing issue for them. First and foremost, it’s unpopular with voters. According to the Wall Street Journal, ACA-7 is deeply unpopular with <a href="http://wsj.com/articles/california-racial-discrimination-state-constitution-amendment-aca7-d1577878" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Asian Americans</a>, who have been waking up to the fact that race-based preferential treatment that throws merit out the window seriously hurts them and their futures. If Democrats go forward with this bill, they will alienate even more of their Asian American voters, who have already begun to shift away because of Democrat policies on crime.
And it’s not just Asian Americans who dislike affirmative action. The same Wall Street Journal op/ed cites a Pew Research survey conducted back in June which found that the majority of Americans believe that considering race and ethnicity in college admissions makes college admissions less fair than more fair. If ACA-7 manages to pass in the state Senate, it will still have to be voted on by Californians in a referendum. The people of California don’t want state-sponsored racial discrimination. That’s why they enshrined anti-discrimination into California’s Constitution in the first place. In all likelihood, ACA-7 will fail in the referendum, and California Democrats will have wasted millions of dollars campaigning for it and gained nothing except disdain from their constituents.
And if somehow Democrats do convince enough Californians to pass this amendment, all that work will eventually come to nothing anyway, because the Supreme Court, which ruled decisively against affirmative action back in June, will strike it down.
California Democrats should abandon ACA-7 immediately. Not only is it racist and unjust, but it is political poison.

In December, a video of a trans-identifying man hunched over in pain from “menstrual cramps” started making the rounds on TikTok. 
“Trans girl experiences first intense period after HRT,” the text on the video said while showing the user grimacing in pain, then sprawled on a bed with a heating pad. “Why?” the subject asks at one point. “I swear to God if anyone says welcome to womanhood, I will lose my s***,” the TikTok user continued.
Both conservatives and feminists <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/video-of-trans-woman-bowled-over-from-first-intense-period-goes-viral-notice-the-smirk">mocked the video</a>, calling it a “<a href="https://twitter.com/SophieXY44/status/1607405619849596929">farce</a>” and saying it represented a “new type of misogyny.”
“Notice the slight smirk as he leans on the bed — he knows he is mocking women and NO we don’t have to tolerate this insult,” one person replied.
“I think people tend to look at things like this and think ‘surely now people will see the absurdity here,’” another person observed. “But this line of thought *began* with an absurdity. If we can be pressured to pretend up until now, we can be pressured to pretend some more.”
Meanwhile, activists used the incident as a teaching experience for the less enlightened. They argued that men taking HRT (hormone replacement therapy) could indeed experience symptoms similar to PMS, including cramping, because of the drugs they were taking.
However, the question that just about any menstruating woman may want to ask is: why? Why do they want this?
Trans activism has become the hot new social cause de rigueur. And while breast implants, heavy makeup, and frilly dresses are common enough for trans women, the current goal seems to reach even beyond these external adornments.
Members of this group don’t just want to look like women; they want to replicate the female experience up to and including menstruation and childbirth. This is just the beginning.
Trans TikTok user Dylan Mulvaney also caught heat for posting several videos featuring Tampax tampons. When questioned about needing this very specific menstrual product, Mulvaney <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trans-activist-dylan-mulvaney-defends-tampax-says-its-pure-intentioned-to-carry-tampons-around">reacted with outrage</a>, claiming that trans women keeping a stock of tampons were just trying to be nice.
“I just sometimes carry [a tampon] in case anyone needs it,” Mulvaney said in a video. “And that seems to have just set the world on fire in some pretty nasty ways.”
“The bigger problem at hand is that you feel me carrying a tampon around is a threat to you and your womanhood,” Mulvaney continued. “How is someone doing something nice so repulsive to you?”
“It’s not because I’m misogynistic, it’s because you’re transphobic,” the TikTok influencer concluded.
Other trans women admit that carrying tampons and reacting to “menstrual cramps” comes from deep-seated feelings of jealousy. These individuals want to experience all the facets of womanhood down to complex, messy, and even painful biological processes including getting periods and birthing babies.
“I had a real fixation prior to coming out and realizing that I was trans about being able to have kids and therefore have a period as symbolic of that,” a trans woman said while <a href="https://periodaisle.com/blogs/all/6-transgender-women-talk-menstruation">speaking with</a> Aisle, a reusable period product company.
“It was this thing I was endlessly curious about and endlessly fascinated about. I thought it would be nice to have that cycle.”
The association between trans women and menstruation is going mainstream. These days, it’s become <a href="https://twitter.com/libsoftiktok/status/1613259700702699520">increasingly common</a> to find pad and tampon dispensers in men’s restrooms, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/oregon-state-university-putting-feminine-hygiene-products-in-mens-bathrooms">including in schools</a>.
Logical thinkers probably realize that these products are intended for trans men, also known as women who identify as men and therefore might find themselves in a men’s room while menstruating. However, the push to attribute pads and tampons to both genders is also laying the groundwork for the next phase of this social experiment.
If men can menstruate, and trans men carry tampons, then why can’t men have babies, too?
That idea is already gaining traction in the medical community. Proponents point to previous successful uterine transplants which resulted in live births. So far, the procedure hasn’t worked for a man. But the hope is there.
In May 2022, Alicyn Simpson, who works with the Pittsburgh children’s hospital’s pediatric Gender and Sexual Development Program, brought these ideas to the public stage. Simpson believes live uterine transplants could be the key to successful male pregnancy.
&#8220;One area that had not been looked at before in any serious way was could the donors be live donors?&#8221; Simpson said <a href="https://twitter.com/MegEBrock/status/1613662887305777152">during a presentation</a> on fertility in the LGBTQIA+ community. &#8220;Live donation has been something the [transgender] community has talked about for decades, it was really thought about as magical thinking.&#8221;
“Well I have these parts, but I don&#8217;t want them. You want them, you need them. So what if I gave them to you? How would that work?&#8217; And apparently, based on their research this is actually viable,&#8221; Simpson, who came out as transgender 30-years-ago, said. The hospital employee also said trans women &#8220;would choose to have female physiological experiences&#8221; such as menstruation and pregnancy, with the aid of a &#8220;vaginal transplant&#8221; and &#8220;uterine transplant.&#8221;
&#8220;One of the main reasons I do the work that I do, is the desire to push us in that direction,&#8221; Simpson said.
A clip of the talk started circulating on Twitter and received a fair amount of backlash. However, with menstruation being promoted as a gender-neutral event, it was only a matter of time before the idea of actual men having babies stopped being a punchline and became a real topic of conversation.
Dr. Narendra Kaushik runs a gender reassignment clinic in New Delhi. In May 2022, he announced his intentions to attempt a uterine transplant into a male patient, claiming he was “very, very optimistic” about the outcome. 
“Every transgender woman wants to be as female as possible — and that includes being a mother,” Dr. Kaushik said, per <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-10796849/Indian-surgeon-plans-transplant-womb-TRANS-woman-pregnant-world-op.html">The Daily Mail</a>.
“The way towards this is with a uterine transplant, the same as a kidney or any other transplant. This is the future. We cannot predict exactly when this will happen but it will happen very soon.”
The publication notes that this procedure was attempted once in known history when a 48-year-old trans-identifying artist named Lili Elbe had the operation in 1931. The Danish citizen headed to Germany for the transplant.
Elbe developed a post-surgery infection, however, and died from cardiac arrest three months later. Elbe never conceived with the new uterus.

Among other programs President Joe Biden announced during the conference was the “Climate Gender Equity Fund,” which will “leverage private sector contributions to help provide women climate leaders with technical skills, networks, and capital to develop and scale climate solutions,” according to a <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2022/11/11/fact-sheet-president-biden-announces-new-initiatives-at-cop27-to-strengthen-u-s-leadership-in-tackling-climate-change" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a> from the White House. The program was seeded by $3 million from USAID and $3 million from Amazon.
“As an important step in solving climate change, we must address the gender inequalities that persist in climate finance, and ensure female entrepreneurs have an equal seat at the table and access to the funding, networks, and technical support they need to scale climate solutions,” Amazon Worldwide Sustainability Vice President Kara Hurst said in a <a href="https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20221103005180/en/Amazon-and-USAID-Launch-Effort-to-Boost-Climate-Funding-for-Women" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a>. “We’re proud to collaborate with USAID and the Biden administration to help scale women-led climate solutions globally.”
The e-commerce company argued that female entrepreneurs are “more likely than their male counterparts” to address social needs, lamenting that only a fraction of global venture capital is devoted toward female-founded companies. Amazon will commit an additional $50 million toward climate technology companies led by women.
The White House also launched the “Indigenous Peoples Finance Access Facility,” a $2 million program that will enable “continued climate stewardship by Indigenous peoples and local communities improving their access to climate finance.”
Biden attended the conference to “galvanize global action and commitments” with respect to climate change. Among other programs, the administration will also devote $150 million toward the President’s Emergency Plan for Adaptation and Resilience in Africa and launch a new initiative to promote wind and solar development in Egypt. The commander-in-chief similarly announced efforts to limit methane emissions from natural gas production among American energy companies, thereby rendering America the “first national government” requiring that suppliers abide by the Paris Agreement.
The Biden administration recently enacted the Inflation Reduction Act, which contains $369 billion for climate <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-signs-740-billion-inflation-reduction-act" target="_blank" rel="noopener">initiatives</a>, including tax credits for new electric vehicles. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which passed at the end of last year, also includes <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kamala-harris-unveils-5-billion-for-electric-school-buses-as-nation-sees-largest-learning-decline-in-decades" target="_blank" rel="noopener">provisions</a> for electric vehicles and other renewable energy projects.
Disruptions from lockdown policies across the globe and the Russian invasion of Ukraine have led to constrained energy supplies, particularly in developing countries and the European continent. China and Saudi Arabia have partnered to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/saudi-arabia-strengthens-ties-with-china-after-snubs-begging-from-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">strengthen cooperation</a> on ensuring stable long-term crude oil supplies, a development that occurs as relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia grow cold.

Meghan Markle was slammed for her egocentrism after her speech at the One Young World summit in Manchester on Monday that was supposed to revolve around “gender equality” issues.
Reports suggested that during her seven minute speech, to roughly 2,000 people, Markle referred to herself at least 54 times.
“I can’t visualize or comprehend how the 2,000 young people understood a word of what she was talking about,” Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, <a href="https://www.thenews.com.pk/latest/988877-meghan-markle-only-praised-herself-in-manchester-me-me-me">commented.</a> “It made no sense. It was all about her and related everything to herself. I don’t think she knew what she was talking about. It was just ‘me, me, me’ and praising herself.”
The only relief from Markle speaking about herself came in a brief anecdote about a young woman from Eritrea who had escaped her home country. Other than that, the speech focused on Markle herself.
Meghan bragged of how she went from being “the girl from Suits” to being “invited to pull up a seat at the table” with various leaders.
Royal author Phil Dampier echoed, “The speech was really about her. She was using it as a platform to talk about herself and her past involvement with the organization but it didn&#8217;t tell the audience anything practical in terms of advice to fulfil their potential.”
“And then it was Meghan&#8217;s turn. Poised, smiling, she took to the podium to tell the audience all about&#8230; Meghan,” Daily Mail columnist Sarah Vine <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11182951/Duke-Duchess-Sussex-run-gauntlet-negative-cries-group-protesters-UK-visit.html">wrote</a>. “About how she has been with the organisation since 2014, about how humbled (tick), in awe (tick), nervous (tick) she felt about being in such incredible company. &#8230; As for gender equality, she didn&#8217;t mention it once.”
One woman from Manchester told The Daily Mail, “She&#8217;s a fake humanitarian and a fake feminist. She&#8217;s a social climber&#8230; she thought she could be a celebrity in the Royal Family and she&#8217;s the most toxic, divisive woman I&#8217;ve ever heard of in my life.”
In late August, heavy criticism was leveled at Markle after she claimed a South African actor had gushed that her marriage into the British royal family caused South Africans to celebrate just as they had for Mandela’s release.
Promoting her new podcast, &#8220;Archetypes,&#8221; Markle claimed that when she attended the 2019 London premiere of the live-action version of The Lion King, a cast member pulled her aside, &#8220;&#8216;I just need you to know: When you married into this family, we rejoiced in the streets the same we did when Mandela was freed from prison.'&#8221;
“It cannot be equated to as the same,” Zwelivelile Mandela, Mandela’s grandson snapped, per <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11159869/EXCLUSIVE-Nelson-Mandelas-grandson-slams-Meghan-Markle.html?ito=social-twitter_mailonlinelish">The Daily Mail</a>. “Madiba&#8217;s celebration was based on overcoming 350 years of colonialism with 60 years of a brutal apartheid regime in South Africa.”
A royal commentator, Richard Fitzwilliams, told The Daily Mail: “When she quotes an enthusiastic supporter saying that her marriage into the royal family led to rejoicing in the streets ‘the same as we did when Mandela was freed from prison’ it&#8217;s an utterly crazy comparison which speaks volumes about the person making it.&#8221;
“It&#8217;s breathtaking — her arrogance, her rudeness and her taking everything for granted and not giving anything back attitude,” echoed Angela Levin, author of “Harry: Conversations with the Prince,” to GMB News. “And I think it&#8217;s a tragedy that she has convinced Harry that his family is so awful. When you mentioned they saw the Queen at the Jubilee, it was only for 15 minutes because she was extremely busy&#8230; they could have come another time.”
After word got out of Markle’s Mandela reference, the hashtag #VoetsekMeghan trended in South Africa. “Voetsek” means “go away” or “get lost.”
