As America celebrates 250 years this summer, Ainsley Earhardt is making sure the next generation grows up loving their country by teaching them the history behind the Red, White and Blue through a colorful children’s book titled, &#8220;<a href="https://www.zondervan.com/p/america-so-glad/">America, I’m So Glad You Were Born</a>.&#8221;
The book is a new spin on Earhardt’s 2022 book, &#8220;I’m So Glad You Were Born,&#8221; which she said is a phrase her late mother used to tell her on her birthday. The &#8220;Fox &amp; Friends&#8221; co-host has carried on that tradition with her own children and, now, in her new book for America&#8217;s big birthday bash.
&#8220;This book is a celebration of our fabulous, amazing country,&#8221; Earhardt told The Daily Wire. &#8220;We have the same illustrator … all the same characters from that other book are in this book. There&#8217;s the message that we have freedom of speech, we have freedom of religion, and how we all have rights that were given to us by God.&#8221;

In the book, children from all backgrounds are shown building patriotic floats, waving the American flag, and painting signs as the young patriots get ready for a grand U.S.A. parade. The light-hearted approach to history tells a story of celebration while also explaining the Constitution.
Earhardt said the book is meant to be educational, focusing on what unites the country instead of what divides Americans, all while showing how the founding fathers envisioned this land two-and-a-half centuries ago.

Pulling from her own childhood, Earhardt tells the story of a country where its citizens have pride and love for the &#8220;Land of the Free&#8221; and respect for others who may disagree.
Featured inside are illustrations of some of America&#8217;s greatest landmarks. The book also praises servicemembers and first responders, who keep Americans safe.
&#8220;In this book, we highlight the military. We highlight how we&#8217;re founded on diversity,&#8221; Earhardt said.
American inventions and accomplishments over the last 250 years, including space travel, are also featured between two bookends.
&#8220;It&#8217;s an opportunity to teach our children that no matter what you want to do, you can accomplish it in America.&#8221;
While the book is for the youngest generation, but she said adults enjoy the message too, including Earhardt’s fiance, Sean Hannity, whom the book is dedicated to alongside their children and God.
&#8220;He&#8217;s written so many books about patriotism and about being a great American…so it was important to him,&#8221; Earhardt said. &#8220;He keeps saying, &#8216;I think this is going to be the best book you&#8217;ve ever written … this is going to be so great because everyone loves our country.&#8217; It really brings us all together.&#8221;

Brown joined host — and mother of nine children with Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy — Rachel Campos-Duffy, on Tuesday&#8217;s broadcast of &#8220;Fox &amp; Friends,&#8221; where she pointed out several of the fallacies in the claims made by the ladies on ABC&#8217;s daytime talk show.

Campos-Duffy opened the segment by asking for Brown&#8217;s reaction to the &#8220;peak elitism&#8221; exhibited by the hosts of &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/daily-wire-host-fires-back-after-the-view-melts-down-over-her-support-for-young-families">The View</a>,&#8221; who had essentially claimed that only rich people could truly afford to have children.
Brown began by pointing out that the outrage had been directed at a short clip of a much broader conversation that was part of a panel discussion for the past weekend&#8217;s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), saying, &#8220;I never expected that that was going to be my Monday. That clip that they reacted to &#8230; was a very short two seconds of the greater conversation that we were having, clearly taken wildly out of context and with the intention to continue pushing the anti-family propaganda on the women of our generation.&#8221;
She went on to argue that the women on &#8220;The View,&#8221; all of whom have children and are well off, were &#8220;out of touch&#8221; when it came to the average American woman and her family decisions.
&#8220;Elitism is the perfect word to describe just how out of touch these women really are,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Because most of them are married with children and worth millions upon millions of dollars — but they have the audacity to scream at you, like Sunny Hostin did yesterday, wearing an $800 jacket and lying to you, saying that childcare costs $400,000 per year. If that were the case, no one would be able to afford children.&#8221;
Brown, who has one child, went on to say that her real concern was cohost Whoopi Goldberg and the fact that she&#8217;d wrapped up the segment by scolding, &#8220;&#8216;Isabel, how dare you tell women to want to have children, if you&#8217;re saying that, I&#8217;m going to send you back to the past.&#8217; So it&#8217;s always about choice for these people, until that choice is the beauty and the joy and the purpose of marriage and motherhood, which of course we should be encouraging people to strive for.&#8221;
Brown and Campos-Duffy went on to discuss studies showing that, by far, the happiest people are women who have embraced marriage and motherhood — especially those who have made career sacrifices to ensure that their families come first.
&#8220;This is something that the left doesn&#8217;t want us to talk about,&#8221; Campos-Duffy said, arguing that they saw the rise of young families as a threat.
&#8220;We&#8217;re claiming that we live in the most empowered time for women in all of human history, and yet the only level of empowerment that they are willing to give you is if you forgo committing your life to your best friend and bringing new life into the world through the miracle of pregnancy and motherhood,&#8221; Brown agreed.

Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum cornered Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) over a video he made with a number of other elected Democrats — most of whom had either served in the military or as part of the intelligence community — encouraging members of the military to refuse obedience to &#8220;unlawful orders.&#8221;
The implication, clearly, was that President Donald Trump either had already issued such an order or was likely to do so, and they collectively called on military service members to recognize that and stand down if and when that were to happen. On Wednesday&#8217;s broadcast of &#8220;The Story,&#8221; MacCallum pressed Crow  — an Army Ranger veteran who took part in making the video — asking several times what specific &#8220;unlawful order&#8221; had provided the basis for the video.

&#8220;&#8230; what law are you talking about that&#8217;s being broken? And then you said he&#8217;s &#8216;implying&#8217; that he might do something that they wouldn&#8217;t want to uphold or follow through with in the future,&#8221; she began. &#8220;What are you talking about specifically?&#8221;
&#8220;I appreciate you asking,&#8221; Crow replied. &#8220;Number one, the protests at Lafayette Square in the first Trump administration where he said, &#8216;Can&#8217;t you just shoot them? Can&#8217;t you just shoot them in the legs or something?&#8217; That&#8217;s a direct quote. And of course —&#8221;
MacCallum, apparently baffled by Crow&#8217;s response, pointed out, &#8220;That was not a military order, that was a comment. That&#8217;s not a military order.&#8221;
Crow attempted to argue that it was a &#8220;request&#8221; and that because President Trump had been the one to make the &#8220;request,&#8221; it should be interpreted as a de facto order.
&#8220;I&#8217;m asking, specifically, right now, what you&#8217;re talking about,&#8221; MacCallum tried again.
&#8220;Number two,&#8221; Crow forged ahead undeterred. &#8220;Yeah, number two, he&#8217;s also threatened to send the military into Chicago and other cities to, quote, &#8216;go to war&#8217; with those cities. That is a very, very disturbing thing. Number three, he&#8217;s also alluded to sending troops to polling stations, which is actually a violation of U.S. law, U.S. criminal law prohibits troops from going to polling stations &#8230; he&#8217;s alluded to that.&#8221;

&#8220;You&#8217;re talking about allusions, you&#8217;re not talking about actual policy,&#8221; MacCallum pushed back, noting that he hadn&#8217;t mentioned a single thing that service members had actually &#8220;been asked to do.&#8221;
&#8220;What exactly are [you] talking about? Are [you] talking about not allowing gunboats to make it to the United States carrying drugs?&#8221; she asked, referencing the Trump administration&#8217;s efforts to target narco-terrorists before they arrived on American shores. &#8220;Is that what you&#8217;re talking about?&#8221;
&#8220;Martha, here&#8217;s a novel idea,&#8221; Crow said, his tone sarcastic. &#8220;How about we actually prevent things from happening before they become a problem.&#8221;
MacCallum, still talking about the drug boats, shot back, &#8220;I think that&#8217;s what they&#8217;re trying to do!&#8221;
Crow then attempted to claim that he was simply &#8220;preparing&#8221; service members for the potential problems that could be on the horizon, prompting MacCallum to try one last time: &#8220;What specific order from the Commander in Chief, that we are asking our military to carry out, are you objecting to?&#8221;

Erika Kirk did her first sit-down interview since the assassination of her husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, which aired on Fox News on Wednesday night. The 36-year-old mom of two recalled several details from the day of his death, including the fact that she never got to kiss her husband goodbye.
The night before Charlie was assassinated, she said he slept in their daughter’s room while she and their daughter slept in the master bedroom.
“I said, ‘I want you to have a good night’s sleep. Go ahead and sleep in her room, and I’ll turn the air down so it’s nice and cozy in there … I just want you to get a good night’s sleep so you can be amazing tomorrow,’” she told Fox News host Jesse Watters.
“And so Gigi and I stayed in our room, and that morning he woke up super early, and he came into our bedroom, into the bathroom, because that’s where his wedding ring was and his necklace, and he came in and he grabbed that and then he left. I didn’t get to give him a kiss,” Kirk recalled.
&#8220;That night, he was so excited. I mean, he was like I can&#8217;t wait, it&#8217;s going to be the best,&#8221; Erika remembered. She said Charlie encouraged her to stay home in Arizona to be with her mother, who was experiencing a medical issue.
&#8220;[Charlie] was like, home needs you. Home needs you, be home. Come with me on Thursday to the next event we have,&#8221; she explained.
Because she didn’t get to kiss him goodbye that fateful day, Erika insisted that she kiss Charlie before his body was sent to the morgue, despite being told by doctors and a police officer that it wasn’t a good idea.
“I said, ‘With all due respect, sir, I want to see what they did to my husband, and I want to give him a kiss, because I didn’t get to give him a kiss this morning.&#8217;”

&#8220;I&#8217;m just so glad I saw him because … when you see someone at the mortuary, they never look the same,&#8221; Erika told Watters. &#8220;They have awful makeup, and they&#8217;re cold. He was still warm, and his eyes were slightly open. It was so powerful, Jesse. He had this smirk on his face.&#8221;
“We walked into that room, and he had this smirk on his face,” she went on. &#8220;That smirk to me is that look of: you thought you could stop what I&#8217;ve built. This vision, this movement, this revival, you thought you could do that by murdering me. You got my body. You didn&#8217;t get my soul.&#8221;
Erika also mentioned never seeing the video clip of Charlie being shot and planning to keep it that way.
&#8220;I never saw the video, I never will see it,&#8221; Erika said. &#8220;I never want to see it, there are certain things you see in your life that you can never unsee. There are certain things you see in your life that mark your soul forever. I don&#8217;t want my husband&#8217;s public assassination to be something I ever see. I don&#8217;t want my kids to ever see that.&#8221;
She also told Watters how she found out her husband had been shot.
&#8220;[TPUSA chief of staff] Mikey [McCoy] called me,&#8221; Erika said. &#8220;I&#8217;ll never forget, him just being like, Charlie&#8217;s been shot. He&#8217;s been shot; get the kids. Get security, get the kids, get the kids, he&#8217;s been shot. I sprinted out of [my mother’s] treatment center and just collapsed in the middle of the parking lot, called our security. Unbelievable nightmare.&#8221;
One thing the grieving widow takes comfort in is the fact that Charlie didn’t suffer.
&#8220;The way the bullet hit him, he died instantaneously,&#8221; Erika went on. &#8220;He died on the scene. But I&#8217;m so glad he didn&#8217;t suffer, I&#8217;m so glad he didn&#8217;t suffer. No one deserves to suffer, but a handful of people. He literally blinked and probably thought he was raptured and looked around and was like, where&#8217;s everybody else? He blinked, and he was with the Lord.&#8221;
Erika discussed how her 3-year-old daughter is dealing with the loss.
“It’s really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things, and I said, ‘If you ever want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to the sky and start talking, and he can hear you,&#8217;” she said. “I told her, ‘You know, Daddy is in heaven’ … and she goes, ‘Do you think I could go sometime?’” Erika said through tears.
“I said, ‘Baby, we will all go one day.’”
Watters also asked Erika what should happen to Tyler Robinson, the man accused of murdering her husband, and whether he should receive the death penalty. She had previously made a powerful statement during Charlie’s memorial service by saying she forgives Robinson for what he did.
“I do not want this man’s blood on my ledger when I stand before the Lord,” Erika told Watters. “I want the government to decide. That’s biblical, too … Justice will ultimately be served.”
She also said cameras should be in the courtroom during Robinson&#8217;s murder trial.
“There were cameras all over my husband when he was murdered,” Erika told Watters. “There have been cameras all over my friends and family mourning. There have been cameras all over me, analyzing my every move, analyzing my every smile, my every tear.”
“We deserve to have cameras in there,” the grieving widow added.
“Why not be transparent?” she said. “There’s nothing to hide. I know there’s not, because I’ve seen what the case is built on.”
Robinson was charged with aggravated murder and six other counts after turning himself in to the police following the fatal shooting.
“Let everyone see what true evil is,” Erika told Watters. “This is something that could impact a generation and generations to come.”

Erika Kirk made several revelations during an as-yet-unaired interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters, as the previews have shown.
The widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated during a campus event in November, said she would like to have cameras in the courtroom during the murder trial of accused killer Tyler Robinson.
“There were cameras all over my husband when he was murdered,” Kirk told Watters in the promo clip. “There have been cameras all over my friends and family mourning. There have been cameras all over me, analyzing my every move, analyzing my every smile, my every tear.”

During the same interview, the new head of Turning Point USA also said that the broadcasting company Sinclair had reached out to her asking if she’d like an apology from late night host Jimmy Kimmel after he made comments indicating that Tyler may be associated with “MAGA.” Kimmel’s show was suspended for a few days after, leading to national outcry from liberals.
“Jimmy Kimmel lied about your husband’s murder and didn’t really apologize, what would you say to Jimmy Kimmel?” Watters asked Kirk.
“Same thing I told Sinclair,” Kirk responded. “They asked, I haven’t really told anybody this, so they asked, ‘do you want Jimmy to give you an apology? Do you want to be on a show? How can we make it right?’ Through our team, I responded, I said, tell them thank you, we received their note.”
“This is not our issue, not our mess,” she added. “If you want to say I’m sorry to someone who’s grieving, go right ahead. But if that’s not in your heart, don’t do it. I don’t want it. I don’t need it.”

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker at first denied, then dismissed Chicago’s notorious murder rate among America’s most populous cities.
Pritzker sat for an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier on Thursday evening and was forced to defend his approach to crime when his state’s capital is consistently one of the worst ranked among comparable urban areas.
The Democratic governor at first claimed that Chicago is “not in the top 30 in terms of our murder rate” before Baier brought up a map of the United States&#8217; most populous cities, showing Chicago’s murder rate, at 17.47 per 100,000 people, higher than that of Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Antonio, and San Diego.
“Look, you can pull statistics up. I can, too,” Pritzker responded before asserting that “our murder rate has been cut in half” over four years.
While true, the significant drop in Chicago’s murder rate, down from a peak in 2021 of 30.1 per 100,000 people, mirrors a trend reflected across the United States and is not necessarily because of any specific action taken by Pritzker. Homicide rates have <a href="https://www.npr.org/2025/06/30/nx-s1-5448852/murders-down-nationwide-covid">plummeted</a> across the country since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic when millions of people were barred from work or other activities.
Chicago’s current homicide rate is just better than what it was in 2019 before the pandemic when the city <a href="https://counciloncj.org/crime-in-chicago-what-you-need-to-know/">tallied</a> 18.9 murders per 100,000 people.

Pritzker declined to note the national trend in crime since the pandemic and instead pointed to his own policies.
“Very importantly, we&#8217;ve been doing the things that are necessary to bring crime down,” Pritzker claimed. “We&#8217;ve invested in community violence interruption. We&#8217;ve invested in police. I&#8217;ve added more state police than any governor in quite a long time. It&#8217;s very important that we do both of those things, and more, to invest in our communities so that we bring crime down.”

After Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares squared off against Jay Jones on the debate stage Thursday, Miyares appeared on Fox News to blast his Democrat opponent.
“If Jay Jones was applying to be a line prosecutor in my attorney general’s office — in fact, any attorney general’s office in all 50 states — he wouldn’t pass the background check for the job,” Miyares said on <a href="https://www.mediaite.com/media/tv/jay-joness-gop-opponent-burns-dem-ag-candidate-over-violent-fantasies-he-wouldnt-pass-the-background-check/">America Reports</a>.
During Thursday&#8217;s debate, Miyares repeatedly brought up text messages that Jones sent in 2022 in which he wished death on former Virginia House of Delegates Speaker Todd Gilbert, said Gilbert and his wife were “breeding little fascists,” and claimed he would like to “piss” on Republican graves, among other horrifying statements.
“I’m ashamed, I’m embarrassed, and I’m sorry,” Jones <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2025/10/16/virginia-jones-apology-attorney-general-00612739">said</a> on the debate stage — to which Miyares <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFv8bFlgTdw">responded</a> that if he were truly sorry, he would not be running for attorney general.
Miyares also brought up the fact that in 2022, Jones was convicted of reckless driving for going 116 mph in a 70 mph zone — but essentially walked for it.
“There were four people in court that day, all going around the same speed,” Miyares said on Fox News. “Three of those four people got active or suspended jail time. The only person that didn’t was Jay Jones because he’s a politician, and then he did the community service hours…for his own political action committee, which obviously isn’t a charity.”

Reporter Nick Minock found that others who were convicted of similar speeding infractions — in approximately a dozen cases — often faced jail time in addition to fines and suspended licenses.
The text scandal appears to have moved the needle significantly in the race for Virginia attorney general. In polls from June to late September, Jones was leading Miyares consistently, but after the scandal broke, polling has shifted with Miyares now 0.3% ahead of Jones, according to the <a href="https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/attorney-general/general/2025/virginia/miyares-vs-jones">RealClearPolitics</a> polling average.
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger has also come under pressure due to the fallout from the texts. Her opponent, Virginia Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears, released a scathing ad featuring Spanberger refusing to comment when confronted with Jones’ remarks.

Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro analyzed President Donald Trump’s Israel-Hamas peace deal, saying on Friday morning that the first phase agreement is “one of the great diplomatic achievements of [his] lifetime.”
Shapiro appeared on “<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/video/6382557865112">Fox &amp; Friends</a>” to discuss the ceasefire and hostage deal, providing insight into how the president successfully pushed Israel and Hamas to move forward with his plan.
“I think the president ignored pretty much all the conventional wisdom, all the State Department conventional wisdom that has failed for 80 years,” Shapiro told “Fox &amp; Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade.
“He understands that in the Middle East you have to force people to keep their promises,” Shapiro added. “He understands that supporting our allies in the Middle East is much smarter than pretending a neutrality between our allies and their enemies and our enemies as well. The president refused to accept the idea of an Iranian-dominated Middle East, and instead, he gave the Israelis what they needed to succeed militarily.”

Shapiro also credited Trump for working with other Middle Eastern countries, such as Qatar and Turkey, to make them “promise that they were going to push Hamas into the corner.”
“That’s the thing that changed between two years ago, or a year ago, and now. President Trump is the added ingredient — and Israeli military victory across the Middle East,” Shapiro continued.
Shapiro added that accomplishing phase one of Trump’s peace plan “is an extraordinary achievement.”
“Like a Nobel Prize-worthy achievement by the president of the United States,” he added. “One of the great diplomatic achievements of my lifetime.”

Shapiro warned that the most challenging test for Trump’s plan may still lie ahead.
“What happens next in phase two [is] whether there will be a provisional government [in Gaza], whether Hamas will actually give up its guns and disarm, whether there will be any sort of solid interim government that is created capable of actually investing in the people of Gaza and building something working there,” he said. “That is a very difficult task, and it remains to be seen how that plays out.”

“We constantly were thrust into a disconnected culture where loneliness and mental health problems started to thrive.” The World Health Organization found that anxiety and depression <a href="https://www.who.int/news/item/02-03-2022-covid-19-pandemic-triggers-25-increase-in-prevalence-of-anxiety-and-depression-worldwide" target="_blank" rel="noopener">increased</a> by 25% in the first year of the pandemic, disproportionately affecting young people.
Isabel said that Gen Z is on a “quest to rebuild meaningful connection.”
“I think the easiest button and the easiest way to do that is starting a hybrid work schedule or in person work.”
“You’re starting to see this behavior not just in the workplace but we’re ditching our dating apps and bringing back in person speed dating events in big cities all over the country, you’re looking at people really wanting to build something with their hands, to touch one another, and to have that sense of real connection,” she said.
Brown’s suggestion that Gen Z is looking for connection is supported by a recent Gallup <a href="https://www.gallup.com/workplace/692675/fully-remote-work-least-popular-gen-z.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">poll</a>, which found 27% of Gen Zers say they feel lonely doing remote work, while 21% of Millennials, 15% of Gen Xers, and 10% of Boomers say the same.
According to Gallup, only 23% of Gen Zers prefer working from home, compared to 35% of every other generation.
Brown says Gen Z is increasingly disillusioned with social media acting as a replacement for in person contact.
“I think we’ve faced this paradox culturally and it&#8217;s a question left for our generation to answer: how do we responsibly balance the role of technology in connecting us, while also preventing that isolation and loneliness that often is hiding behind the screen?”
“I think this is why you’re watching Gen Z for example lead the religious resurgence happening in America right now, it&#8217;s young people that are flooding church pews on Sunday morning and reviving church communities at Catholic churches across the country and having mass baptism events on our college campuses,” she added.

During an Oval Office event on Tuesday afternoon, Doocy pressed Trump to reveal when and how he&#8217;d come to find out that he&#8217;d died over the weekend.

&#8220;Did you see that?&#8221; Doocy pressed on as Trump said he hadn&#8217;t. &#8220;People didn&#8217;t see you for a couple of days, 1.3 million user engagements as of Saturday morning about your demise.&#8221;
Vance shook his head, still smiling, and only then did Trump&#8217;s eyebrows raise: &#8220;Really? I didn&#8217;t see that. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that there would be no American troops on the ground in Ukraine under his watch.
Trump made the comments in an interview on “Fox and Friends” as he recapped his Monday meeting at the White House with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, European leaders, and a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump added that European nations like France, Germany, and the U.K. might have boots on the ground in Ukraine at some point.

That vow came after Trump declined on Monday to rule out the possibility that American troops would be in Ukraine as part of a security guarantee.

Trump said during the same interview that he initially thought the Ukraine-Russia War would be” one of the easier” conflicts to end, but that it has turned out to be the “most difficult” to resolve. He said Putin needed to cooperate, and that Zelensky would have to show some “flexibility.”
After the White House meetings, Trump said that Putin and Zelensky would meet in the coming weeks. Following that discussion, Trump said he would meet with both leaders to attempt to negotiate an end to the war. Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff will be coordinating the meetings with Russia and Ukraine, Trump wrote on Truth Social Monday night. 
Trump also recapped his “very good” phone call with Putin, telling “Fox and Friends” that he pressed the Russian dictator to come to the table with Zelensky.
“I told him that we’re going to set up a meeting with President Zelensky, and you and he will meet, and then after that meeting, if everything works out OK, I’ll meet and we’ll wrap it up,” he said. “It takes, in this case, two to tango. They have to have somewhat of a relationship, otherwise we’re just wasting a lot of time.”
Trump joked that ending the war might be his ticket through the pearly gates.
“If I can save 7,000 people a week from being killed…I want to try and get to heaven if possible. I’m hearing I’m not doing well. I hear I’m really at the bottom of the totem pole. But if I can get to heaven, this will be one of the reasons,” he said.
