In late July, a series of images began circulating on social media that perfectly captured the surreal, self-inflicted decline of Western civilization.
In broad daylight, on a European beach, an African migrant was caught performing a depraved act of public indecency in front of families and children. He was jerking off on a public beach in front of kids.
It was an act that, in any sane society, would have resulted in the immediate arrest and incarceration of the predator. When bystanders rightfully intervened to stop him, i.e., beat the sh*t out of him, and rightfully so, a startling thing happened: a white woman threw herself into the fray.
But she didn’t intervene to protect the children.
She wasn’t calling for the police, nor was she shielding the innocent. Instead, she placed herself in harm&#8217;s way to protect the predator. She leaned toward the man with a look of intense, therapeutic concern, a gaze usually reserved for a patient on a therapist’s couch, not a criminal caught in a most disgusting act.
When I recently commented on this incident, observing that I want a man who looks at me the way liberal white women look at invaders who commit such acts, the predictable outrage machine went into overdrive.
But my critique wasn&#8217;t merely about a single viral video; it was an indictment of a much deeper, more dangerous pathology taking root in our culture.
While this specific nightmare took place on a European beach, it serves as a grim &#8220;coming attractions&#8221; trailer for our American future if we don’t stop it in its tracks. We are currently witnessing an epidemic of pathological empathy among liberal white women, and it is quietly becoming the single greatest threat to our national security.
This isn’t compassion; it’s a desperate need for moral validation. We have raised a generation of progressive white women who have been taught that their primary duty to society is to apologize for it. They have been conditioned by an education system and a cultural elite into believing that &#8220;safety&#8221; is a microaggression, that &#8220;borders&#8221; are racist, and that &#8220;sovereignty&#8221; is a code word for bigotry.
The result is a global double standard that would be hilarious if it weren’t so deadly. In Spain, when tens of thousands of migrants swarm an enclave in a single weekend, the media rightfully calls it a crisis. The European Union holds emergency meetings.
But here in America? Under the Biden-Harris administration, we’ve had millions cross our southern border — a slow-motion colonization that makes the European crisis look tame. Yet, if you, a tax-paying American citizen, dare to call it an invasion, you are immediately branded a racist. You are a bigot. You are deemed a threat to &#8220;democracy.&#8221;
This performative empathy extends far beyond the beach; it is fundamentally altering our behavior at the ballot box. These same progressive voters, who claim to be the vanguard of &#8220;women’s rights,&#8221; are the primary engine behind a radical effort to erase women. They march for equality while simultaneously carrying water for radical ideologies that view women as second-class citizens. They scream about bodily autonomy while rolling out the red carpet for cultures that view women as property.
It is the ultimate political Stockholm Syndrome of the 21st century.
This is not just a political disagreement; it is a mental illness breakdown on a national scale. Liberal white women have been told that their inherent &#8220;privilege&#8221; is a sin that can only be washed away through a policy of radical self-destruction.
They view themselves as the moral arbiters of society, and welcoming the &#8220;invader&#8221; — no matter how dangerous or lawless — is their way of proving they are &#8220;good people.&#8221; They prioritize the comfort of the lawbreaker over the safety of the citizen because their manufactured guilt will not allow them to do anything else.
They would rather see their cities burn and their daughters shower next to grown men than risk being called &#8220;intolerant&#8221; at a wine-and-cheese mixer. The progressive Left has been trained to hand over the keys to the kingdom and then apologize for the locks being too difficult to pick.
They are welcoming criminals who despise our values, our laws, and our way of life, all while nodding along in a trance of performative empathy. And we have enabled this destruction from within, handing the future of our country over to pathological empathizers.
If this is the &#8220;future&#8221; the Left is building, I want no part of it. It’s time to wake up, throw the &#8220;Coexist&#8221; bumper stickers in the trash, and start acting like a nation that actually wants to survive.
We need to return to a reality where &#8220;illegal&#8221; actually means illegal. Because if we can’t tell the difference between a refugee seeking asylum and a public predator exploiting our goodwill, we don’t have a country anymore — we have a crime scene.
America first, or America is finished.

Surrounded by a horde of Moroccan migrant men shouting and pushing, Ceuta resident Rocio cried out for help from the Spanish government, which she said has been missing in action amid the influx. Between Thursday and Friday, roughly 60,000 migrants, mainly young men, swam or scaled border fences into Ceuta, which sits on the African continent.
Nearly three dozen people are dead, <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2026/07/31/world/spain-ceuta-migrants-morocco" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to The New York Times.
&#8220;We are afraid. We cannot condone this. Where are our rights as Spaniards? Where are our principles as Spaniards? &#8230; They need to fortify this city. We need police on the streets, the civil guard on the streets, we need the military on the streets. They&#8217;re not there; we&#8217;re alone. We cannot call the police or the civil guard because they can&#8217;t keep up. We need urgent help,&#8221; Rocio said during a televised interview.
She went on to call the situation an &#8220;invasion&#8221; as she broke down in tears. That was when the migrant men standing behind her began shouting.
&#8220;This is really outrageous. I am surrounded, I&#8217;m afraid. How can I not be afraid? I even feel like crying. This can&#8217;t go on, this can&#8217;t go on, really. This can&#8217;t go on; we need help. The thing is, I&#8217;m shaking. Really, this has to be lived through. You have to live through this as a woman. You have to live through this as a woman,&#8221; Rocio said.
&#8220;You have to live through this to understand it,&#8221; she said. &#8220;This is an invasion. They&#8217;ve started with Ceuta, but this is the border to Spain, the border to Europe. Today it was Melilla, tomorrow it will be the Canary Islands. The day after, it will be Tarifa.&#8221;
At the end of the interview, the reporter remarked that the migrant group closing in behind them couldn&#8217;t be kept away or controlled.
&#8220;They&#8217;ve started approaching us. I am asking them to stay away, but there&#8217;s no way,&#8221; the reporter said. The men then clapped but didn&#8217;t appear to understand what the women had said.

Spain’s far-left Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, who is set to give amnesty to one million migrants this year, traveled to Ceuta on Friday after deploying the Spanish military to control the melee.
Sánchez vowed to deport some of the migrants.
Earlier this month, however, Spain’s Supreme Court ruled that migrants who enter by sea cannot be immediately expelled.
“The Government will guarantee the safety of the residents of Ceuta, intensifying the presence of the Security Forces and Corps on the city’s streets. Additionally, we will deploy a physical containment barrier in the sea to facilitate repatriation at the border, in compliance with the Supreme Court ruling,” Sánchez said.
After complaining they had not eaten in days and could not find food in Ceuta, thousands of the new arrivals began making the journey back to Morocco on Friday.

The European Broadcasting Union has issued new guidelines on how to film women’s sporting events so that the athletes won’t appear sexually appealing.
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking: Oh Klavan, you marvelous merchant of mirth, how is it possible your effervescent imagination keeps merrily spewing bubbles of laughter into the air until all of life seems a frothy elixir of hilarity? Who but you could dream up a scenario in which some Europeans have so little to occupy their lives, they actually found time to think of a way to discourage the six or seven people who watch women’s sports from watching women’s sports? Where but in the imagination of a living genius of joy could there blossom a fabrication so absurd that it could actually make the incipient takeover of Europe by radical Muslim rapists and murderers seem like kind of an improvement over the Europe we have now?
But no, so help me, I am not making this story up.
The European Broadcasting Union — whose members operate nearly 2,000 media outlets that reach audiences of more than a billion people across the continent — has drawn up a list of disrespectful camera angles to be avoided to ensure that televised women’s sports do not become sexualized or have any other reason to exist.

For instance, according to the document released by the EBU, camera operators should not use low angles during such events as the women’s pole vault, lest it provide male viewers with a momentary view between the jumper’s legs and afford them a glimpse of a gateway into a heaven of pleasure beyond their wildest imaginations.
Likewise, camera operators should avoid close-ups on a female athlete’s face during her moments of maximum effort lest it cause male viewers to speculate that such an expression might be similar to the one she has when she has been coaxed to a pinnacle of ecstasy by an expert lover’s masterful yet tender caresses.
Slow motion replays of the efforts of women runners should be avoided, especially if the runners are well-endowed, for fear it will remind the viewer of that time when he was thirteen and the new &#8220;Tomb Raider&#8221; game came out with a Lara Croft who could actually jiggle so that he sat in front of the TV pressing the jump button over and over until he developed carpal tunnel syndrome and had to tell his mother he had been typing a lot because he was writing a dissertation on the temptations of St. Anthony.
Also discouraged is any camera angle that falls below the waist of a female tennis player, thus revealing the way her adorable little skirt sometimes flies up in the air during her backhand so that the viewer’s eye can trace the mind-destroying curve of her silken legs from her sneaker-covered but doubtlessly suckable toes to the underwear so wonderfully filled by her soul-particlizing shapeliness.
The EBU’s British chairman Sir Nigel Skoolbottom says the new guidelines are meant to eliminate any glimpse of any part of any female athlete’s body that might sexually excite the male viewer. And since virtually every glimpse of every part of every female athlete’s body will likely sexually excite the male viewer, Sir Skoolbottom recommends that every potentially thrilling video of a woman during a sporting event should be instantly replaced by the image of a naked schoolboy being caned by a stern yet ruggedly handsome headmaster so that the viewer comes to understand just how very naughty he has been for thinking those dirty thoughts about someone of the same gender as Sir Skoolbottom&#8217;s beloved mum.
Now some critics have pointed out that men are more interested in looking at women’s bodies than they are in appreciating their athletic prowess or indeed their intellectual capabilities or career achievements or ideas or conversation, and that banning sexually stimulating camera angles might reduce the audience for women’s sports to three virtue-signaling lesbians who are only pretending to give a damn, thus making it almost impossible for women athletes to garner an audience and earn a living.
However, the European Broadcasting Union suggests that the problem could be addressed if the women athletes simply supplement their incomes by opening accounts with OnlyFans.

The Trump administration on Friday condemned Spain&#8217;s immigration policies and weighed possible retaliation after tens of thousands of migrants stormed across the Moroccan border into the Spanish territory of Ceuta. 
In a statement, the <a href="https://x.com/StateDept/status/2083197495119626476?s=20">U.S. State Department</a> accused Spain&#8217;s leftist government of facilitating mass illegal immigration, saying its policies fueled the chaos that spiraled into hours of anarchy and left dozens of migrants dead.
“The United States stands with the people of Spain, and all Europeans, against this egregious violation of their sovereignty and human rights,” the State Department said. “This unacceptable incident is the direct result of the Spanish Government&#8217;s deliberate efforts to enable and facilitate mass illegal migration into Europe.”
“We are considering actions to defend Americans at home and abroad from this threat and stand ready to assist other European allies considering similar options,” the federal agency added. 
In damage control, Spain&#8217;s Ministry of the Interior said more than 25,000 migrants have been deported back to Morocco, <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/spain-ceuta-morocco-migrants-border-crossings/">according to CBS News</a>. The leftist government also claimed authorities were removing roughly 150 migrants per minute. 
The Daily Wire could not independently verify those figures.
Earlier on Friday, President Trump weighed in on the controversy, which had sparked an international outcry, warning Americans that similar scenes could unfold in the United States if the balance of power shifted.
“It’s terrible. Remember that picture. That’s going to be us in three years if the wrong side gets in,” Trump <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-issues-grim-warning-for-america-as-europe-reels-from-massive-migrant-invasion?author=Leif+Le+Mahieu&amp;category=undefined&amp;elementPosition=2&amp;row=3&amp;rowHeadline=Latest+News&amp;rowType=Vertical+Carousel&amp;title=Trump+Issues+Grim+Warning+For+America+As+Europe+Reels+From+Massive+Migrant+Invasion">said</a> during a phone interview with Fox News. “If the Democrats get in, you will not live a very good life.”
On social media, the White House echoed Trump&#8217;s argument, <a href="https://x.com/RapidResponse47/status/2083199361316524348?s=20">posting a video</a> of a seemingly quiet and secure U.S.-Mexico southern border.
&#8220;While hordes of Third World migrants storm Spain&#8217;s territory, the United States&#8217; borders are locked down at levels never seen before. President Trump inherited a similar invasion to what Spain is facing, and he stopped it on Day One,&#8221; an official White House page posted on X.
Trump’s comments came after around 50,000 migrants rushed across the border into Ceuta, a Spanish territory on the tip of Morocco, bringing widespread chaos and unrest. At least <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/34-dead-after-tens-of-thousands-of-migrants-invade-spain">34 people died</a> as thousands of migrants, mostly young men, attempted to swim or force their way into Ceuta. 
The brazen invasion appeared almost seamless, with migrants encountering virtually no resistance. One military-aged man went viral on social media after recording himself with a <a href="https://x.com/visegrad24/status/2083138726314594810?s=20">selfie stick as he swam</a> to Ceuta to illegally enter Spain.
The migrants, emboldened by the lax immigration policies of leftist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, brought chaos to the streets of Ceuta, causing fear among locals who were overwhelmed by the flood. 
Migrant Ajoub el-Arrot <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2026/07/31/world/spain-ceuta-migrants-morocco">told</a> The New York Times that he was surprised at the lack of resistance. 
“I don’t know why they let us through. Maybe they had some political reason,” he said. “They opened the border and let everyone go by.”

At least 34 people died Thursday as nearly 50,000 illegal migrants invaded the Spanish territory of Ceuta from Morocco.
Many of the deaths were drownings as migrants attempted to swim into Ceuta. Others were killed when they were trampled as the swarm of people <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/07/31/world-news/at-least-18-migrants-die-trying-to-cross-morocco-spain-border-a-serious-humanitarian-crisis/">broke down</a> gates and overwhelmed Spanish border officials. Most of the migrants appear to be young men.
Leftist Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, who recently paved the way for a million illegal migrants to obtain legal status, claimed he would end the chaos. 
“The Government of Spain is fully committed to providing an immediate response to the situation in Ceuta,” he said. “We are mobilizing all necessary resources, working with Moroccan and international authorities, and preparing the necessary measures to restore normalcy as soon as possible.”
Later on Friday, he added that the migrant flood &#8220;deserves our full reproach, our condemnation at the strongest possible level of rejection, condemnation, and consideration as deplorable.&#8221;
The military has been mobilized to respond to the massive influx of illegal migrants who were emboldened by a decision from Spain’s Supreme Court that migrants crossing by sea cannot be immediately deported.
As they pushed past border officials, migrants reportedly chanted “Bye Bye Morocco, hello Spain.” Almost 50,000 migrants entered Ceuta and they flooded the streets. One video shared online shows a man pooping in the streets. 
“Businesses closed. Shops shut because if you open a business, it gets overrun. … We’re scared. The streets are packed. There are no measures in place. It’s every man for himself. They’re not giving us any help,” one local restaurant owner <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/07/31/world-news/thousands-of-illegal-african-migrants-overrun-spanish-enclave-turn-streets-into-open-toilets-and-bathe-in-fountains-an-apocalypse/">said</a>. 
Another local described the event as an &#8220;apocalypse.&#8221; 
Migrant Ajoub el-Arrot <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2026/07/31/world/spain-ceuta-migrants-morocco">told</a> The New York Times he entered Ceuta looking for a job. 
“I don’t know why they let us through. Maybe they had some political reason,” he said. “They opened the border and let everyone go by.”
Another person told Reuters that he simply pushed past the police. 
“It was very tough,” Jadid Zacaria said. “The police tried to stop us. But our will and determination allowed us to come here.”
Santiago Abascal of the Right-wing Vox party said the influx was welcomed by Sánchez. 
“They’re not fleeing from war or poverty. It’s an invasion,” he said. “They are military-aged men invited by Pedro Sanchez’s corrupt government to storm our borders so they can roam Spain’s streets shouting ‘Viva Pedro Sanchez.’” 
In response to the videos coming from Ceuta, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said Italy is &#8220;prepared to intervene with extraordinary measures to defend the borders and the safety of citizens, including the suspension of the Schengen Area with Spain.&#8221; The Schengen Area is a zone that allows people to travel between 29 European countries without border checks.
“The images coming from Ceuta are striking and demonstrate, once again, that uncontrolled illegal immigration poses a concrete threat to the security of Europe&#8217;s borders.” she said. “On illegal immigration, we will not yield an inch: defending the borders, stopping human traffickers, and ensuring effective repatriations will continue to be the line of this Government.”
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called the situation in Ceuta “unacceptable.&#8221; 
“We cannot allow anyone to come to our Union without abiding by our rules,” she said. “Dangerous crossings must stop immediately. Smuggling networks must be dismantled. And returns must be swift, as our rules allow.”

Thousands of African migrants swam to the shores of the Spanish territory of Ceuta on Thursday, leading to a chaotic scene that officials are scrambling to contain.
Dramatic video shows the moment the migrants, who are mainly young men from Morocco, swam onto the shores with some using inflatable inner tubes before marching down the beach and through the nearby roads. The border breach comes after Spain&#8217;s Supreme Court ruled earlier this month that migrants crossing by sea cannot be immediately deported.
“It has been a slow trickle since the Supreme Court’s ruling, but today has been an explosion,” a spokesman for Spain&#8217;s Guardia Civil police <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/thousands-migrants-cross-into-spains-ceuta-foot-efe-reports-2026-07-30/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> Reuters.
Juan Jesús Vivas, the leader of Ceuta, urged the Spanish government to make a national emergency declaration and deploy the military to quell the migrant invasion, according to Reuters. Spain’s interior ministry said it couldn&#8217;t declare a national emergency as it doesn&#8217;t view migration flows as a risk to national security, the Associated Press <a href="https://apnews.com/article/spain-ceuta-tarajal-morocco-migrants-5c864e5f951e2a7cf7a3eac417668e97" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez <a href="https://x.com/sanchezcastejon">said</a> the country &#8220;is fully committed to providing an immediate response to the situation in Ceuta&#8221; and that they&#8217;re &#8220;mobilizing all necessary resources, working with Moroccan and international authorities, and preparing the necessary measures to restore normalcy as soon as possible.&#8221;
&#8220;I just conveyed this to President @JuanVivasLara. This is the moment to build solutions, with responsibility and cooperation,&#8221; Sánchez wrote on X Thursday.
It&#8217;s not the first time Ceuta — which, along with Melilla, Spain, are the European Union&#8217;s only land borders with Africa — has experienced a mass migration event. In May 2021, the Spanish territory saw the arrival of roughly 8,000 migrants during a period of just two days, according to the AP.
The situation doesn&#8217;t appear to be coming to an end anytime soon as migrants continue staging at the Moroccan city of Fnideq to prepare to enter Spain, migrant ​rights activist Zakaria Zarroqui told Reuters.
&#8220;The situation remains out of control as we speak,&#8221; Zarroqui said.

Antisemitic violence reached its deadliest level in more than three decades in 2025, with 20 people killed in attacks across seven countries, according to a new <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/world/antisemitic-violence-reaches-deadliest-level-since-1994-new-global-report-finds">global</a> report.
The J7 Large Communities’ Task Force Against Antisemitism <a href="https://34d0dc30-7136-4c4b-bee4-d93d1c3c11bd.usrfiles.com/ugd/34d0dc_df70ed62a9ee42a99636df79620a9da4.pdf">documented</a> more than 23,000 antisemitic incidents in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, Canada, and Argentina. Together, those seven countries are home to more than 90% of the Jewish population living outside Israel.
According to the report, 20 people were killed in antisemitic attacks in 2025, making it the deadliest year for antisemitic violence since 1994. All of the fatal attacks occurred in J7 countries.  Violent antisemitic incidents increased 97% since 2022, while the total number of reported incidents rose 136% during the same period.
The Anti-Defamation League, which represents the United States in the J7 coalition, said the findings show the urgency of confronting antisemitism.
“This isn&#8217;t a warning sign anymore, it&#8217;s already happening,” ADL Senior Director of Global Research and Diplomatic Affairs Aykan Erdemir said. “If governments let antisemitism take root and perpetrators walk free, the violence won&#8217;t stop with Jewish communities. History shows Jews are the canary in the coal mine: when hatred against Jews rises unchecked, it&#8217;s an early warning that everyone&#8217;s safety and rights are at risk.”
The report concluded that antisemitism is “no longer confined to the fringes” in the countries it examined. It also found that anti-Zionism related to the war in Gaza has become “a vehicle for antisemitic expression,” while educational institutions have become an “acute flashpoint” for hatred.
Combined with growing online extremism, the report said Jewish people “across the globe report hiding their Jewish identity in public” and questioning “whether they have a future in their home countries.”
The report documented increases across every country studied. Australia recorded a 270% increase in antisemitic incidents since 2021, Germany posted the highest per-capita rate, and the United States documented 6,274 incidents in 2025, including 300 physical assaults, despite a decline from the previous year. 
France reported a 124% increase in incidents since 2021, while the United Kingdom saw a 64% increase and Canada recorded a 60% increase. Argentina experienced a 46% increase over the same period.  
The report said also examined Ireland, which is not part of the J7 coalition. Although Ireland&#8217;s Jewish population numbers only about 2,200 people, researchers said antisemitism has become increasingly common in everyday life and noted that the country lacks both a national strategy to combat antisemitism and government-funded security for Jewish institutions.  
The findings come amid several recent antisemitic attacks and alleged plots targeting Jewish institutions in the United States.
In April, authorities arrested two teenagers accused of plotting an <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/teens-arrested-over-plot-to-kill-as-many-jews-as-possible-in-major-synagogue-attack?author=Zach+Jewell&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=undefined&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Teens+Arrested+Over+Plot+To+%E2%80%98Kill+As+Many+Jews+As+Possible%E2%80%99+In+Major+Synagogue+Attack">attack</a> on Congregation Beth Israel in Houston. Authorities accused 18-year-old Angelina Han Hicks of plotting alongside two male subjects to “kill as many Jews as possible.” Although investigators said the alleged attack was planned for 2028, prosecutors warned there was concern an attack could occur much sooner.
Erdemir said governments should focus on preventing attacks before they occur.
“The most urgent priority for every government should be protecting Jewish communities and institutions before they&#8217;re attacked, not after,” he said. 
He added that security measures alone would not solve the problem.
“Governments can&#8217;t rely on security alone,” Erdemir said. “It takes a whole of society effort, government, business, schools, civil society and everyday citizens, to root out the hate targeting Jewish communities worldwide.&#8221;

Hamas terrorists were quietly building a sprawling European terror network for years — stockpiling guns, scouting targets, and even filming a martyrdom-style video — as they plotted a massacre on the continent to mirror the horrific October 7 attack on Israel, according to a bombshell investigation released last week.
The chilling scheme, <a href="https://www.nzz.ch/international/die-hamas-nimmt-den-westen-ins-visier-und-plante-wohl-einen-zweiten-7-oktober-in-europa-ld.10014753">uncovered</a> through a joint probe by European intelligence agencies and reported by Swiss outlet Neue Zürcher Zeitung, spanned at least seven countries: Greece, Cyprus, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Poland, and Britain. The terror group eyed the second anniversary of its 2023 rampage, October 7, 2025, as a possible attack date, according to the report.
The plot first cracked open in early June, when a 37-year-old Egyptian man of Palestinian descent was busted on the Greek island of Crete. Cops raiding his apartment found bomb-making chemicals, and investigators say he&#8217;d been coordinating with two Cyprus-based Palestinians on a plan to blow up an Israeli cruise ship. The sting was fittingly code-named &#8220;Odin.&#8221;
But the real nerve center of the operation, authorities say, was Germany. Since last fall, federal prosecutors have ordered the arrest of nine suspected Hamas operatives across the country, accused of targeting Jewish and Israeli institutions. Investigators recovered a pre-recorded propaganda video claiming responsibility for attacks that never came to pass.
German officials say Hamas had turned the country into a weapons pipeline, smuggling at least 13 handguns, an assault rifle and more than 900 rounds of ammo through Denmark, Berlin, and Vienna. It wasn&#8217;t the first bust, as four Hamas members were already convicted in Berlin earlier this year for stashing weapons caches across Europe.
The network&#8217;s roots go back even further. Federal investigators say a Hamas cell was ordered from Lebanon back in 2019 to start hiding weapons across Europe, with caches later dug up in Bulgaria and Denmark. More were feared buried along the German-Polish border. Suspects were finally <a href="https://lab.imedd.org/en/hamas-weapons-in-bulgaria/">caught</a> after guards noticed them repeatedly crossing that border toting shovels, apparently hunting for their own buried arsenal. Arrests came in December 2023.
By the spring of 2023, prosecutors say, the same cell was ordered to haul the weapons into Germany and prep strikes on Jewish, Israeli, or American sites. Those sites included the Israeli embassy in Berlin, the U.S. airbase in Ramstein, and Berlin&#8217;s Tempelhofer Feld park.
Investigators say the whole operation was run out of Lebanon, with Berlin cell members spotted at the funeral of slain Hamas military commander Khalil al-Kharaz.
Hamas has <a href="https://www.counterextremism.com/roundup/eye-extremism-july-20-2026?utm_source=chatgpt.com">denied</a> any role in the alleged plot, insisting its fight is limited to Israel. But terror expert Hans-Jakob Schindler called that claim hard to swallow, warning a weakened Hamas may increasingly look to strike outside the Middle East for maximum shock value.

A knife-wielding man injured three women, including a pregnant woman, during a stabbing spree in central Paris, reportedly shouting that Allah had ordered him to do it.
The suspect attacked three women, ages 19, 24, and 36, on Monday morning with two kitchen knives near Porte de Clichy in Paris, severely wounding two of them, Interior Minister Laurent Nunez <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/french-police-arrest-man-after-knife-attack-paris-2026-07-27/">told reporters</a>. Police have not yet released the identities of the suspect or victims. 
Two of the women remain in critical condition, <a href="https://www.gbnews.com/news/world/paris-stabbing-pregnant-woman-three-injured-knife-attack">according to GB News</a>. One woman was stabbed in the lower back, while another suffered a stab wound to the abdomen. An off-duty police officer is said to have detained the disturbed man at the scene.
<a href="https://x.com/ScopeReport_/status/2081701503203455484?s=20">Multiple videos</a> circulating on social media appear to capture moments before and after the attack. Footage shows the suspect, who has long black hair and is wearing a cream-colored tracksuit, carrying two large knives. In one clip, he is seen running down a street before appearing to lunge at a woman who is walking alone.
French outlet Le Figaro reported that the suspect shouted, “It is Allah who ordered me.&#8221; At the scene, however, police urged caution, insisting the man made &#8220;incoherent&#8221; statements and that investigators had not yet identified a motive.

The terror attack left Pride attendees reeling, including Ricarda Hofmann, a presenter at one of Europe&#8217;s largest LGBTQ celebrations.   
“What happened today has changed something in me,” she <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DbPTNq6iDz4/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1">wrote on Instagram</a>.
International leaders across the political spectrum swiftly condemned the attack, with some arguing it highlighted what they described as a growing alliance between Western LGBTQ activist groups and Islamist ideology.
