A Utah Judge ruled Tuesday that Tyler Robinson will stand trial on all seven charges in the assassination of conservative leader Charlie Kirk, leaving him eligible for the death penalty if convicted of aggravated murder.
After hearing hours of closing arguments from the defense and prosecution, Fourth District Judge Tony Graf found that the state had established probable cause, meaning there was sufficient evidence for the case to proceed to trial.
Robinson, 23, faces one count of aggravated murder, one count of felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, two counts of obstruction of justice, two counts of tampering with a witness, and one count of committing a violent offense in the presence of a child, according to court records.
The judge&#8217;s decision allows the aggravated murder charge to move forward, along with the aggravating circumstance prosecutors say makes the charge eligible for the death penalty.
The defendant&#8217;s attorneys asked during the preliminary hearing that Graf reject the aggravating circumstance that could make the killing eligible for capital punishment. They argued that prosecutors had not shown that the shooter knowingly created a “great risk of death” to anyone other than Kirk. Prosecutors countered, saying others were indeed at risk when the shot was fired. Graf ultimately found there was sufficient evidence for the aggravating circumstance to remain in the case.
Kirk&#8217;s parents and his widow, Erika Kirk, appeared in court Tuesday. A statement from the family called the ruling &#8220;an important step in our family’s pursuit of justice for him.&#8221;
&#8220;Every step in this process carries the weight of all that Charlie’s murder has taken from his family, especially his children who will grow up without their father. We are grateful to all who have continued to pray for us, support us, and stand with us through a year of unimaginable grief,&#8221; the family said.
&#8220;As the next phase of the judicial process begins, our family remains united in our love for Charlie, our commitment to the pursuit of justice, and our prayer for a transparent and timely process,&#8221; the statement added.
Robinson is accused of fatally shooting Kirk in September 2025 at Utah Valley University, where the conservative activist and Turning Point USA co-founder was speaking at an outdoor event.
Following Judge Graf&#8217;s ruling, Robinson&#8217;s attorneys entered not guilty pleas on his behalf to all seven charges.

A Utah judge is expected to decide on Tuesday whether Tyler Robinson will stand trial for the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, and whether prosecutors will be allowed to pursue the death penalty.
Following a five-day preliminary hearing, Judge Tony Graf will hear closing arguments from the state and defense for a maximum of two hours each before ultimately giving his ruling.
Robinson, 23, is charged with aggravated murder and multiple other felonies in the September 2025 fatal shooting of Kirk at Utah Valley University, where he was engaging others with differing political views. Prosecutors have said they intend to seek the death penalty if Robinson is convicted.
Robinson&#8217;s attorneys have asked Graf to reject the aggravating circumstance that could make the killing eligible for capital punishment. They argue that prosecutors have not shown that the shooter knowingly created a &#8220;great risk of death&#8221; to anyone other than Kirk. Prosecutors counter that others were indeed at risk when the shot was fired.
The filing does not dispute for purposes of the preliminary hearing that Robinson was the shooter. Instead, his attorneys argue that the state has not produced sufficient evidence to support the aggravated murder charge and potential death penalty.
Prosecutors have also presented evidence they say ties Robinson to the shooting, including his alleged statements to people close to him. Robinson surrendered to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office about 33 hours after Kirk was shot, arriving with his parents and a family friend.  Robinson&#8217;s father had reportedly confronted him after recognizing images of the suspected shooter released by authorities. According to investigators, Robinson also allegedly told his father that he was the shooter and made statements to his male roommate and romantic partner the day of the shooting that prosecutors say are confessions.
Investigators also recovered the rifle believed to have been used in the shooting, along with four bullet casings, one fired and three unfired, that had messages engraved on them. One unfired casing read, “Hey fascist! Catch!” while others referenced the Italian anti-fascist song “Bella Ciao” and read, “If you read this, you are gay LMAO.” Prosecutors have pointed to the engravings and other evidence as part of their case regarding Robinson’s motive.
Robinson’s defense has also repeatedly fought efforts to allow cameras and microphones in the courtroom, arguing that extensive media coverage could prejudice a future jury and undermine his right to a fair trial. Kirk&#8217;s family has asked the judge to allow full transparency, aiming to stop wild conspiracies being peddled online. Judge Graf ultimately allowed cameras during the preliminary hearing.
The defense has also attempted to remove the Utah County Attorney’s Office from the case, arguing there was a conflict of interest because Chief Deputy County Attorney Chad Grunander’s daughter attended the event where Kirk was killed and communicated with her father shortly after the shooting. The defense argued the connection could affect the office’s impartiality. Judge Graf rejected the motion in February.
A source close to the family told The Daily Wire that Kirk’s parents and his widow, Erika Kirk, will attend the hearing. Beyond a statement following the court’s ruling, the Kirk family will not speak with the media.

Angie Nixon, the socialist who just stunned Florida Democrats in a Senate primary, spent months attacking slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk — calling his supporters tools of “white supremacy” and comparing a bill honoring the Turning Point USA founder to something “brought straight by the KKK.”

“And he was homophobic, antisemitic, misogynistic&#8230;the list goes on and on,” Nixon said of the 31-year-old conservative activist, who evangelized on college campuses and built a political ground game that helped elect President Donald Trump.
Months later, Nixon <a href="https://x.com/AngieNixon/status/2021261020803527005?s=20">bragged</a> about voting “NO on the Charlie Kirk Day of Remembrance Bill in the Florida Legislature,” calling the legislation “a slap in the face to Black Women.” 
When the <a href="https://www.flhouse.gov/Sections/Bills/billsdetail.aspx?BillId=82648">bill</a> establishing a Charlie Kirk Day of Remembrance came before the Florida Legislature, Nixon escalated her attacks.
“This bill, to members of my community, black people, is like a bill brought straight by the KKK,” Nixon said during the debate, according to<a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/florida-house-charlie-kirk-day-bill/"> CBS News</a>.

Nixon argued that Kirk should not be memorialized, claiming the legislation was an attempt to “sanitize what this guy was about.” She also accused the Florida Legislature of promoting “hate and cruelty,” declaring that it was “OK” in the legislative body to be “anti-black” and “anti-Muslim.”
“If you removed all of the stuff he said about Black people and made it about Jewish people, we wouldn&#8217;t be here,” Nixon said. “We would label him antisemitic, and you&#8217;d be saying he&#8217;s saying things that are terroristic.”
After facing intense online backlash, Nixon <a href="https://x.com/AngieNixon/status/2021395287345176699?s=20">lashed out</a> at her critics in crude terms. 
“Hi keyboard warriors! I’m not gonna be too many more of your apes, dirty b*tches,” she wrote, adding that her critics were “illustrating why I voted no on that divisive bill.”
RNC spokeswoman Emma Hall blasted Nixon&#8217;s remarks in a statement to The Daily Wire. 
“Nixon’s repulsive comments are hateful and unhinged, just like her,” Hall said.

For a left preaching tolerance, the emotionally stunted quackery emanating from the mouths of &#8220;I’ve Had It&#8221; podcast hosts Jennifer Welch and the cackling, near-mute sidekick Angie “Pumps” Sullivan proves it’s a pants-on-fire farce.
On Monday, Welch promulgated a conspiracy theory from the bowels of her Luciferian sense of punditry that Vice President JD Vance and Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk are far more than just friends.
Welch extrapolated the Vances deciding to have a fourth child following Charlie’s assassination as something beyond the regret Erika had about only having two children:

You remember the way she, like, grabbed his head and how excited she was to see him, and everybody’s like, oh my God, are they screwing? Like that energy is weird. Well then, a couple of months later, Usha ends up pregnant. Like, the timing of all of that, could you imagine if Kamala was embracing somebody like that on the stage somewhere &#8230; Look at that. You don’t hug a person. You’re not screwing and grow up with her hair like that.

“JD Vance is a weird guy. I mean, he is so weird. The relationship is with Usha is weird, roping in Erika Kirk into their relationship that she’s there, like — what — birthing coach or something. I mean, that was some weird sh*t,” she later added.
Despite the vitriol, they’ve been heralded by elite media. Welch has been given hero’s welcomes by ABC’s &#8220;The View,&#8221; CNN’s Dana Bash, The New York Times, and The New Yorker, to name a few. And there’s been utter silence from this crowd about the comments.
But this wasn’t the first time Welch and Sullivan went after the Vance family.
During a November 2025 show, Joy Reid <a href="https://x.com/CurtisHouck/status/1993401409103184331">told</a> the cackling quacks that the vice president will divorce Usha if he truly wants to become president and instead marry Erika Kirk because MAGA “can’t have the successor” to Trump “be the guy with the brown, Hindu wife.”
“And he’s playing slap and tickle with Erica Kirk, the weirdest sh*t I’ve ever seen,” Welch declared, to which Reid said Charlie’s widow dispensed with “widow wear” in search of her “MAGA fairy tale.”
“But wouldn’t it be the most perfect fairy tale — MAGA fairy tale if he finally sees the light that he needs a white queen instead of this brown Hindu? I mean, I’m not saying that’s happening,” Reid said.
Yes, Welch believes the Vances had another child because something untoward happened last year involving the vice president.
When you’re resorting to demented nightmares that might give the National Enquirer pause, you know you’re far more than just a prepubescent lunchroom bully.
Welch addressed the new lamb for the Vance family a second time, except this time with the vacuous Sullivan alongside. She told listeners this fourth “mixed-race child” could fall prey to ICE because of their father’s support for “the Kavanaugh rule &#8230; that ICE can pull somebody over that ‘looks suspicious.’”
Because of this, she asserted Vance “will not stand up for [his] own kids.”
Sullivan wasn’t to be left out, declaring Vance a “failed” father and husband.
Dovetail this with her ongoing shtick that widespread numbers of MAGA men are closeted, and you have proof that, for the Left, homophobia and racism are not only okay, but accepted so long as it’s framed and delivered in a manner that would make Regina George blush.
Welch and her clapping seal of a sidekick <a href="https://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/nicholas-fondacaro/2025/10/29/former-guest-view-demands-dems-get-board-gop-assassinations">asserted</a> on October 27, 2025, that Democrats need to “get on board” with the “shift” toward political assassinations or MAGA will be “coming after you.”
A month later in the Reid episode, they <a href="https://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/curtis-houck/2025/11/25/joy-reid-joins-miserable-libs-smearing-p-show-pony-jennings-jihad">said</a> MAGA is willing to “commit jihad” for “proto-fascist” Trump and thus are incapable of being “patriotic.”
To their delight, Reid asserted: “The fear is that if you don’t obey [Trump], his cult will try to kill you &#8230; MAGA supporters are armed to the teeth. They are rabid in their support of him, and it’s a religion.”
Welch told &#8220;The View&#8221; in February 2025 she and Sullivan perceive &#8220;I’ve Had It&#8221; as “authentic trash talking” and “counterprogramming to the toxic positivity culture.”
But with &#8220;I’ve Had It,&#8221; defamatory allegations are in, along with homophobia so long as the accused gay is a Republican.
They frequently refer to Speaker Mike Johnson as “Moses Mike Grindr Johnson,” insisting outright he and other Hill Republicans are fervent homosexuals.
In the same show with Reid, they declared without evidence the Epstein Files proved the president <a href="https://x.com/CurtisHouck/status/1993723159397499162">has given</a> blowjobs.
For their funhouse mirror dystopia, gay jokes are in, but say “illegal immigrant,” and that’s on-par with the n-word.
And I haven’t even touched their comments about homeschooling as <a href="https://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/curtis-houck/2026/07/15/vile-podcast-smears-homeschooling-evil-child-abuse-trickle-down">“trickle-down stupidity”</a> and <a href="https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/curtis-houck/2026/07/21/affairs-and-ice-harming-babies-witch-welch-uncorks-new-smears-kirk">“a patriarchal step of the fascist project”</a> overseen by people who are “f*cking weird as f*ck that you want your kids around you all day, every day, and all night.”
Despite all this, they’re the new cool kids.
They’ve welcomed on fellow liberal podcasters such as Jim Acosta, Don Lemon, Sam Seder, and Emma Vigeland, fellow liberals such as Brooke Baldwin, Ruth Ben-Ghiat, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Daily Beast editor-in-chief Joanna Coles, Leigh McGowan, David Rothkopf, Al Sharpton, Jason Stanley, Kara Swisher, and even members of Congress such as Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
Simply put, they’re not going anywhere, so it’s past time someone took these miserable psychopaths to court for defamation.

There are two competing visions playing out in our culture right now. One prizes traditional values, marriage, matrimony, and the worth of a soul. The other peddles promiscuity and lust, urging women to trade their innocence for a hollow imitation of freedom. 
 
Two video clips that recently went viral perfectly embody this divide. In the first, octogenarian philosophy professor Peter Kreeft was on The Daily Wire&#8217;s &#8220;Pints with Aquinas,&#8221; <a href="https://www.instagram.com/itsallpolitics__/?hl=en">explaining</a> that a man should marry a woman for her soul, not her physical appearance, because even staring at his wife&#8217;s corpse, he found her most beautiful. He understood that the body fades, but the thing worth loving, the eternal part, never does. The second clip represents that latter, destructive philosophy: Brianna &#8220;Chickenfry&#8221; LaPaglia, on her crudely titled podcast Plan Bri, <a href="https://www.mediaite.com/media/podcasts/erika-kirk-is-a-fcking-clown-barstool-star-brianna-chickenfry-rages-at-charlie-kirks-widow-in-stunning-diatribe/">calling</a> Erika Kirk a &#8220;f*cking clown&#8221; for daring to promote the nuclear family, traditional values, and faith.
Chickenfry, a 27-year-old media personality, is best known for her failed relationship with singer Zach Bryan, swearing aggressively, and posting videos of herself hungover. She claims to be a champion of female power and progress, and ridicules Erika Kirk and TPUSA for apparently &#8220;preying&#8221; on young women. Chickenfry is everything wrong with our current culture, wrapped in a ring light and a vape cloud. She rails against &#8220;bad influence&#8221; while being one of the worst exemplars of young women.
Chickenfry (hilariously asinine that this is how she&#8217;s referenced) fulminated that Kirk is a lazy trad wife, putting women behind &#8220;five hundred million steps.&#8221; Hm. Well, it takes the average joe 137 years to hit 500 million steps, so apparently by discussing the beautiful harmony of marriage between man and woman, recognizing the importance of strong and stable men leading a family, and encouraging women to find the love of their life and have babies with them, we young, impressionable, naive ladies who hear this nonsensical talk have been sent back to 1889! Ahh! The horror! Instead, women should apparently imbibe from the infinite wisdom of Brianna Chickenfry, who is on a self-proclaimed &#8220;d*ck break&#8221; as of this week, and who needs to slurp on a flavored nicotine vape stick every three minutes to fire up the neurons in her brain that produce such extraordinary sagacity.
She also claimed on &#8220;Plan Bri,&#8221; the show that is literally named after Plan B, a drug women take post-sex to undo what sex is for, that &#8220;Turning Point is preying on women whose frontal lobes aren&#8217;t developed,&#8221; that Kirk is a &#8220;hypocrite&#8221; who should go take care of her family, and that she is simply the &#8220;f*cking worst.&#8221;
A truly darling woman, the epitome of class and grace, Chickenfry is.
Yet by her own logic, women under 25 shouldn&#8217;t be listening to Erika Kirk talk about family or faith. Instead, these underdeveloped mushball ladies should form their thoughts, feelings, and actions based on Brianna&#8217;s advice. I mentioned earlier she&#8217;s on a &#8220;d*ck break.&#8221; This is news to me, because on June 21, I was unfortunately exposed to a <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@itgirl_/video/7653913186038566158">video</a> of her saying she wants to have &#8220;like, a hooker summer,&#8221; because she&#8217;s never done the &#8220;be a whore thing.&#8221; Because she&#8217;s &#8220;so scared.&#8221;
*Sighs.* Lots to, like, unpack there.
This all matters because this is the caliber of role models young women are exposed to on the internet, and it’s detrimental to them and society. Chickenfry, Alex Cooper of “Call Her Daddy,” a rotating cast of OnlyFans influencers, and a thousand of their carbon copies are reaching girls at scale, selling the same script: it’s okay to sleep around. It’s okay to relinquish your goods for the next man you meet on the street. It’s okay to talk crassly and openly about sex, lust, cheating, and then turn around and claim that all men are evil. In fact, it’s more than okay. It’s preferred.
To these women, this is the height of female empowerment. &#8220;Experimenting&#8221; with whoever, wherever, whenever. Then telling other women to do it too. Because it&#8217;s &#8220;freeing&#8221; not to be tied down to a man. It&#8217;s &#8220;true feminism&#8221; not to be exclusive with just one guy. It&#8217;s &#8220;emancipating&#8221; to sleep with whoever you want, and then abort the resulting child the moment that child becomes an inconvenience rather than a blessing.
But these nostrums don&#8217;t survive contact with reality and proven biology. They lead to unhappiness, loneliness, and unfulfillment. Alex Cooper, after preaching infidelity and anti-men quackery for years, ended up married with a baby on the way. OnlyFans creators are warning newcomers that the business wrecks their odds at real relationships and normal employment. Chickenfry herself has had her heart broken publicly, and she&#8217;s obviously angry about it, yet the gospel she&#8217;s preaching to teenage girls is a blueprint for the same heartbreak, just with extra steps.
But she let the quiet part slip. She claims she wants to have a “hooker summer,” but she&#8217;s scared. Where does that fear come from? The instinctive understanding that we are not rag dolls to be thrown around. Women are not built for detachment. We can put on a face and act tough, but our biology doesn&#8217;t understand &#8220;hooker summer.&#8221; Our biology craves one love.
Erika Kirk is not a &#8220;f*cking clown.&#8221; She&#8217;s a widowed mother of two. She&#8217;s a workhorse and was a traditional spouse. She&#8217;s a God-fearing, forgiving, honorable woman who experienced more loss and grief than most of us will ever know. She&#8217;s promoting an idea that has been proven true across every era of human history: that one of the greatest things we can ever do as human beings is to get married and raise kids, to find a person whose soul you can love eternally, no matter how wrinkly, worn, and withered their flesh may become, straight into the next life.
I hope Chickenfry finds her rooster. I hope her platform grows into something that promotes goodness, monogamy, and the harmonious and sacred union of man and wife. Until then, I&#8217;ll pray for her, the same way I suspect Erika Kirk already does.

As we go through this preliminary hearing this week, we&#8217;re gonna be sticking to the proof that is offered by both sides&#8230; while you can have suspicions about somebody else&#8217;s role in a murder like this one, you cannot get that into evidence unless you have real proof and a legitimate good-faith basis for raising it&#8230; that&#8217;s where we begin today.

There is, of course, nothing controversial about this.
Except that only last December, Kelly told her audience to &#8220;go f*ck themselves&#8221; for expecting her to call out Owens&#8217; conspiracy theories and months-long campaign of harassment and accusations against Charlie Kirk&#8217;s friends, family, employees — and pretty much everyone else under the sun.
This followed months of Kelly moving the goalposts in defense of Owens&#8217; reprehensible behavior after Charlie Kirk&#8217;s death.
When first confronted about Owens&#8217; conduct on The Fifth Column podcast, Kelly said she wouldn&#8217;t criticize her because &#8220;she&#8217;s a young mom&#8221; —  a standard that has never stopped Kelly from attacking Meghan Markle, for example.
Next came Ben Shapiro, who appeared to be the first person to tell Kelly that Owens was targeting TPUSA, Kirk’s friends, and even Erika Kirk.
Kelly acted shocked, insisting she wasn&#8217;t &#8220;the mother of the internet.&#8221;
She then followed it up by confidently assuring her audience, &#8220;It&#8217;s not true. Candace has, in fact, been defending Erika.”
That statement has aged like milk in a heatwave.
Kelly then revealed that she had been working behind the scenes to broker peace between Candace Owens and Erika Kirk, the newly widowed young mother.
It was at this time that Kelly berated viewers who questioned her continued defense of Owens, unleashing profanity and showing them the door.
Not since Neville Chamberlain has there been a more gullible or unsuccessful peace negotiator.
Ben Shapiro accused Kelly of moral cowardice at TPUSA’s AmFest, and rather than reconsidering her position, Kelly bizarrely transformed her unwillingness to criticize Owens into a principled stand against &#8220;bending the knee to Israel.&#8221;
Once again, she told her critics to &#8220;go f*ck themselves.&#8221;
It wasn’t long after this that Megyn Kelly’s Israel Derangement Syndrome metastasized. Megyn 2.0 earned the moniker “Grandma Groyper,” stating:

How much of the narrative that is in our news today has been spoon-fed to me by people who are super pro-Israel at all costs, who won’t tell the truth about Israel, no matter what it is&#8230; I’m just starting from square one basically on Israel right now.

Only a year earlier, Kelly had hosted Charlie Kirk, warning about the threat of Islam in the West. Fast forward a year, and she was openly eyeing Tucker Carlson&#8217;s significant Muslim audience, saying on Next Up with Mark Halperin, “Like he’s gotten very, very popular lately, I read, with Muslim viewers because he’s been standing up for Islam.”
Then came Tyler Robinson&#8217;s preliminary hearing.
Almost overnight, Megyn 1.0 reappeared.
On the second day of the hearing, she argued, &#8220;There is no disproving a conspiracy theory in the mind of a true conspiracy theorist. It&#8217;s not possible. They will just continue moving the goalposts.&#8221;
By day four, Kelly was urging those attacking Erika Kirk to show some humanity. &#8220;Every night Erika goes home to Charlie&#8217;s two children who have no father&#8230; it&#8217;s just beyond human what is being asked of the family.&#8221;
For a moment, Kelly sounded exactly like the careful legal analyst who made her reputation.
Unfortunately, this is where things fell apart.
Kelly&#8217;s guest, former prosecutor Matt Murphy, politely but directly challenged the person driving many of the Charlie Kirk conspiracy theories — not anonymous internet trolls, or even leftists, but young mom Candace Owens herself.
Murphy said, &#8220;I&#8217;ve seen some insane things on the internet, mostly championed by Candace Owens, that are so loony, tinfoil-hat out there. And I think that&#8217;s hard on the victim&#8217;s family.&#8221;
He accurately described those embracing the conspiracy slop as &#8220;actual lunatics.&#8221;
Murphy also pointed out that Owens had said she would stop spreading baseless conspiracies if Erika Kirk asked her to; Erika Kirk repeatedly did, and Owens ignored her.
Instead, Owens responded by accusing Erika of being a child groomer, a human trafficker, connected to Jeffrey Epstein, mocking her by pretending to cry over death threats she’d received, and implicating her in her own husband&#8217;s murder — all without credible evidence.
This treatment of Erika, by the way, is ongoing.
Kelly immediately rushed to defend Owens: &#8220;I think she&#8217;s in her own search for what she believes happened here, and she has zero trust in official words on anything.&#8221;
Murphy continued and actually delivered on what Kelly had promised at the start of the week, being unbiased and objective.
But when Murphy dismissed Israel&#8217;s alleged involvement outright — &#8220;Israel didn&#8217;t kill Charlie Kirk. Sorry. They just didn’t.&#8221; — Megyn 2.0 returned.
Kelly immediately defended not simply Owens, but the legitimacy of continuing to speculate about Israel&#8217;s possible involvement, pointing to Charlie Kirk&#8217;s criticisms of some Jewish donors before his death and reports of Israeli-only cell phones allegedly being present at Utah Valley University.
The shift was striking. In fact, it’s a surprise she didn’t begin going on about maroon shirts or Egyptian planes.
The same Kelly who had spent days insisting that conspiracy theories require evidence was now arguing on behalf of conspiracy theories.
The same Kelly who argued for compassion and humanity toward Erika Kirk was arguing on behalf of someone who has actively profited from tormenting Erika Kirk.
Everything Kelly had started the week promising to do, she was now doing the polar opposite of.
This is where Kelly&#8217;s two personas collide. The legal analyst who demands evidence gives way to the commentator willing to excuse wild, even harmful, speculation when it comes from her friend.
Kelly has repeatedly shown that she knows exactly how evidence should be evaluated. She understands legal standards. She recognizes how conspiracy theories move the goalposts whenever facts become inconvenient.
As she put it: &#8220;There is no disproving a conspiracy theory in the mind of a true conspiracy theorist.&#8221;
Yet only days later, Megyn 1.0 resurfaced.
Referring to those who continued denying Tyler Robinson&#8217;s guilt despite the evidence presented at the preliminary hearing, Kelly remarked, &#8220;Some people who refuse to believe that Tyler Robinson did this have been saying for quite some time, &#8216;Oh, but there&#8217;s no video of the actual shooting&#8217;&#8230; and still they won&#8217;t accept it. We&#8217;re never gonna get through to them. I don&#8217;t even really care about them, to be honest.&#8221;
It&#8217;s enough to give her remaining audience whiplash.
The balancing act isn&#8217;t sustainable. Eventually, one of these two Megyn Kellys will prevail. Judging by who she&#8217;s repeatedly told to &#8220;go f*ck themselves,&#8221; she&#8217;s already made her choice.

Judge Tony Graf Jr. denied a request from Erika Kirk and her late husband&#8217;s parents, saying that he would not display in open court all of the evidence in the assassination of the late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
Graf said that the court would weigh evidence on a case-by-case basis and that only some would be displayed in the gallery for all of those present at the hearing.
&#8220;The court has considered the request that exhibits be displayed in real time to the courtroom. After careful consideration, the court determines that not all exhibits will be visually displayed to the gallery and notes that it will use a tiered method as described first, whether it will be admitted to the court for consideration as it relates to probable cause. Second, whether it will be displayed only to the gallery, and third, if it will be published through the camera, to the public at large,&#8221; Graf said.
In a win for the Kirk family and the prosecution, Graf also agreed that several key pieces of evidence — specifically text messages and Discord messages — could be released to the public, despite objections from the defense.
As the preliminary hearings continue for Tyler Robinson, the man accused of murdering Kirk last September at Utah Valley University, the Kirks submitted a filing through attorneys on Thursday. In it, they claimed that the victims of crimes — in addition to being allowed to be present in the courtroom during proceedings — should be allowed to see the evidence presented in open court.
&#8220;The Victim&#8217;s Family&#8217;s position is simple. At a minimum, every exhibit entered into evidence during the preliminary hearing must be visible to every person lawfully present in the courtroom,&#8221; the court filing read, noting that the family had waited months for the hearing to begin — and then, upon their arrival, found that they&#8217;d be unable to view some of the evidence.

&#8220;To receive evidence in a manner shielded from those seated in the courtroom — as happened today — is not transparency. And in the absence of transparency, speculation and conspiracy theories related to the tragic assassination of Mr. Kirk will continue to proliferate in the public domain, breeding doubt and distrust in the judicial system. This is not what anyone should want.&#8221;
The filing went on to argue that the family&#8217;s guaranteed right to be present in the courtroom and to observe the court proceedings carried no real weight if they were not also able to see the evidence that was being presented.
&#8220;The right &#8216;to be present&#8217; is hollow if the victim or his representative is physically in the room but is prevented from seeing the evidence the Court is receiving. A right to attend that does not include the ability to perceive what is happening is not meaningful presence at all,&#8221; the filing explained.

The attorney representing Erika Kirk and the parents of assassinated Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk asked the judge on Thursday to require that all of the evidence admitted in court be visible to everyone in the courtroom.
During the preliminary hearing that began earlier this week, multiple pieces of evidence have not been shown to the entire courtroom as the judge determines whether the case against Tyler Robinson will proceed to trial. Judge Tony Graf Jr. has allowed some videos to be played on a large screen in the courtroom, but <a href="https://www.newsnationnow.com/crime/charlie-kirk-murder-suspect-dna-hearing/">other pieces of evidence</a>, including an alternate angle of the shooting, have been viewed only by the judge and attorneys on their computer monitors. Audio from the redacted videos played aloud for those in attendance.
&#8220;The Victim&#8217;s Family&#8217;s position is simple. At a minimum, every exhibit entered into evidence during the preliminary hearing must be visible to every person lawfully present in the courtroom,&#8221; Attorney Jeffrey Neiman, who represents Erika Kirk and Charlie Kirk&#8217;s parents, <a href="https://x.com/MattFinnFNC/status/2075195265464856977?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">argued</a> in a court filing read.
&#8220;To receive evidence in a manner shielded from those seated in the courtroom – as happened today – is not transparency,&#8221; the filing continued. &#8220;And in the absence of transparency, speculation and conspiracy theories related to the tragic assassination of Mr. Kirk will continue to proliferate in the public domain, breeding doubt and distrust in the judicial system. This is not what anyone should want.&#8221;
Robinson’s attorneys argue certain videos could obstruct Robinson’s right to a fair trial. 
“We think this video is going to play a big role in the trial, and to allow the public to see it now would seriously impact our ability to get a fair trial,” said Robinson&#8217;s defense attorney Kathryn Nester. 
Parts of an interview with Lance Twiggs, Robinson&#8217;s transgender partner, were also withheld from public view after defense attorneys argued prosecutors intended to use the clips as evidence of a confession. 
&#8220;We are very concerned that the publication of what the state will call confessions at trial violates Mr Robinson&#8217;s due process rights,&#8221; Robinson’s lawyer argued. The Kirk Family’s lawyer countered, &#8220;To not be transparent here, to not be open, to not let the world see what happened will create doubt ​and distrust in the judicial system.” 
Judge Graf said he would reconsider showing the recording in its entirety if the case proceeds to trial. The partially redacted video will be shown in court on Thursday marking the first time the entire courtroom will hear the audio from Twiggs. According to prosecutors, Robinson was living with Twiggs at the time of the shooting and sent Twiggs a text message that appeared to be a confession to murdering Kirk, writing that he had &#8220;had enough of his hatred.&#8221;
According to court testimony, Robinson programmed an automated text message to be sent from his phone, instructing Twiggs to &#8220;Drop what you are doing, look under my keyboard.&#8221; Prosecutors also say Robinson <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/judge-rules-on-tyler-robinsons-fight-to-shield-key-evidence-from-public?author=Jacob+Wheeler&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=undefined&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Judge+Rules+On+Tyler+Robinson%E2%80%99s+Fight+To+Shield+Key+Evidence+From+Public">wrote</a> a letter to Twiggs, whom he referred to as &#8220;Luna.&#8221; The letter allegedly stated, “Luna, if you are reading this per my text, then I am so sorry. I left the house this morning on a mission, and sent an auto text. I am likely dead or facing a lengthy prison sentence. I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I took it.” 
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for Robinson.

Erika Kirk Demands Access To Evidence In New Court Filing

During Wednesday&#8217;s hearing, the family of slain conservative Charlie Kirk pushed for greater transparency, urging the court to publicly release interviews in-full with the transgender romantic partner of Kirk&#8217;s accused killer.
Jeffrey Neiman, attorney for Kirk&#8217;s widow, Erika Kirk, asked Judge Tony Graf Jr. to allow the full audio of Lance Twiggs&#8217; interviews to be played in open court rather than a heavily redacted version. Twiggs, who was granted &#8220;use immunity,&#8221; is cooperating with prosecutors and is expected to be an important witness in the case. Prosecutors say Robinson admitted to murdering Kirk in text messages to Twiggs after the shooting and left behind a handwritten note expressing his intent to kill Kirk before the attack.

And we&#8217;d ask the court to consider the position of the family in making its ultimate decision.&#8221;

Graf ultimately ruled that portions of Twiggs&#8217; interviews would be redacted before being presented during the preliminary hearing, meaning the public will hear only portions of the interviews. The judge also said that he would personally review the complete, unredacted interviews when determining whether prosecutors have established probable cause to send Tyler Robinson to trial for Kirk&#8217;s murder.
Notably, the ruling currently applies only to the preliminary hearing and does not determine what evidence a jury may ultimately see or hear at trial. Twiggs could also testify in person at Robinson&#8217;s trial.

A screwdriver recovered from the rooftop where Robinson allegedly fired also contained DNA from both males, the state said at the hearing. Robinson was living with Twiggs at the time of Kirk’s assassination.

Kirk Family Pushes For Public Release Of Full Lance Twiggs Interviews

Donald Trump Jr. and his wife, Bettina Trump, released a statement on Tuesday emphasizing their full support for Charlie Kirk&#8217;s widow, Erika Kirk, and condemning the &#8220;lies&#8221; being peddled for &#8220;attention&#8221; regarding Kirk&#8217;s assassination.
The pair were in the Provo, Utah, courtroom on Monday and Tuesday for the preliminary hearing for the Tyler Robinson murder trial. Don Jr. and Kirk were close friends for years; Don Jr. has described Kirk as a younger brother.
The statement, which was posted to Bettina&#8217;s Instagram and reposted by Don Jr., opened by saying that the couple was &#8220;honored to be in court alongside Erika and Charlie&#8217;s family.&#8221;
&#8220;Over these past two days, we have heard and seen a significant amount of evidence, including extensive video footage, much of which has or will become public and will answer many of the questions that have been irresponsibly filled with speculation and false narratives,&#8221; it continued.
&#8220;There is a PROFOUND difference between seeking truth through the judicial process and spreading lies for attention,&#8221; the couple said. &#8220;Erika is not a public spectacle. She is a widow and a mother of two children who lost their father in an unimaginable way. She, her children, and Charlie&#8217;s family deserve to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion.&#8221;
Notably, Candace Owens has led the charge with attacks against Erika. Owens recently said Kirk never received actual romantic love when he was alive, insinuating that Erika never loved her late husband, the man with whom she shared two children. She&#8217;s also mocked Erika and criticized her grief and reaction to Kirk&#8217;s murder. Owens has suggested, without ever presenting any evidence, that Erika and others at Turning Point USA were somehow connected to the assassination or part of a grand cover-up.
The statement from Don Jr. and his wife did not include Owens&#8217; name.

&#8220;There are no words that can fully capture the weight of this moment, but standing with them was a powerful reminder of the love, strength, and faith that continue to surround Charlie&#8217;s family,&#8221; the statement said. &#8220;Erika has carried herself with extraordinary grace and courage, and we are in awe of her strength.&#8221;
The statement strongly underscored Don Jr. and Bettina&#8217;s love and full support for Erika. &#8220;We remain committed to standing with Erika, their beautiful children, and the entire Kirk family as they walk through this painful process,&#8221; the couple added. &#8220;Our prayers are with them.&#8221;
Don Jr. said on Fox News the following day that he attended the preliminary hearing to honor Kirk and his legacy, and also provide any support he could to Erika and Kirk&#8217;s parents.
&#8220;I’m there to not only honor Charlie’s legacy [but] to support Erika, his parents, who were there seated all in the row with us,&#8221; he <a href="https://x.com/AndrewKolvet/status/2074857486813655214">said</a>. &#8220;It was just important to be there. It’s a legacy that needs to be preserved. The impact that Charlie had on so many Americans and so many youth is frankly generational.&#8221;
Reacting to what he heard at the hearing, Don Jr. said Robinson&#8217;s defense team&#8217;s &#8220;only real tactic&#8221; was trying to stall or get evidence tossed &#8220;because I guess it would be too damning to their client.&#8221;
&#8220;Once this hard evidence was laid out to me in a courtroom before my very eyes, seeing the reaction of the defense; this thing is much more cut and dry than I would have ever even imagined,&#8221; he added.

Women’s greatest legacy is their children, Isabel Brown, host of “The Isabel Brown Show” on The Daily Wire, told attendees at Turning Point USA’s 2026 Women’s Leadership Summit on Saturday.
The three-day women’s conference, held June 5–7 in San Antonio, Texas, featured speakers from across the conservative movement, including Brown, Alex Clark, Riley Gaines, Erika Kirk, and Allie Beth Stuckey. Brown argued that modern culture increasingly devalues motherhood and traditional family formation, while elevating individual fulfillment above sacrifice and service to others.
“Despite calling me out by name repeatedly, the women of The View weren’t really upset about me,” Brown said. “They were threatened by the fundamental truth that the women sitting in this room know and live out every day: that our greatest contributions are bigger than ourselves.”
Brown also encouraged attendees to reject fears surrounding marriage and raising children.
“Have the courage to fall in love, to get married, and to have children, more children than you think you’re ready for, and far more than you think you can afford,” Brown said.
The Daily Wire host also pointed to Mary, the Mother of God, as the ultimate example of feminine virtue and self-sacrifice.
“Her greatest legacy will always be how she raised God incarnate to become a man, in what she gave rather than what she received,” Brown said.
While acknowledging that many women pursue successful careers, Brown said motherhood remains the most important calling for many women and noted that many of the conference&#8217;s speakers balance professional success with raising families.
Brown also reflected on the sacrifices associated with motherhood, arguing that suffering and hardship can draw people closer to God.
“We do live in a world where we experience pain, discomfort and suffering, but the beauty of suffering is that it uniquely links our experience to that of God, who enduring the ultimate hardship and pain to the point of death for the redemption of all of us,” Brown said.

The summit also featured remarks from TPUSA CEO Erika Kirk, who reflected on the mission of the organization founded by her late husband, Charlie Kirk.
“He saw a generation drifting away from faith, away from a sense of purpose, and he wanted to cultivate a space for community, a space that was so needed, especially on college campuses,” Erika Kirk said of her husband. 
At one point during her speech, a heckler attempted to interrupt Kirk, but was removed from the venue.
“It’s important to remember that happiness comes and goes, and I pray that you find it,” Kirk told the heckler as the woman was removed.
After the audience applauded, Kirk urged attendees to pray for their opponents rather than view them as enemies.
“You pray for your enemies. You pray for those that persecute you,” Kirk said. “That’s not the enemy. We know who the real enemy is.”

The Texas man who authorities say threatened to bomb an upcoming Turning Point USA event left behind an extensive online footprint filled with anti-MAGA rhetoric and months of fixation on Erika Kirk.
Jacob Wenske, a 26-year-old San Antonio-area resident, was arrested last week on felony terroristic threat charges after threatening Erika Kirk and TPUSA’s upcoming Women’s Leadership Summit in San Antonio, including an April post that read: “I know exactly where to bomb,” according to authorities. Investigators also believe he sent a January email directly to TPUSA that threatened Erika Kirk and “every single speaker” at TPUSA events.
Wenske was a politically active left-wing social media user whose online activity became increasingly saturated with anti-MAGA and anti-TPUSA content in the months before his arrest. He devoted growing attention to Erika Kirk ahead of the attack, according to an open-source intelligence report from the Network Contagion Research Institute, which analyzes online activity.
The NCRI researchers describe Wenske as having an unusually large and exposed digital footprint centered on Facebook — a platform they noted is increasingly uncommon for someone his age to use so heavily. A review of a 170-page archive of his public posts showed a near-constant stream of political content, particularly following the September 2025 assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Researchers said Wenske&#8217;s account posted multiple times daily following the TPUSA founder’s assassination, with content frequently focused on “Christian nationalism,” Trump supporters, ICE, and right-wing politics before activity slowed somewhat in December. Wenske repeatedly used and amplified the phrase “Christian nationalism” online — the same language later referenced in the alleged threats sent to TPUSA. According to official documents, Wenske called for the deaths of “Christian nationalists” in a bombing he claimed would occur at every TPUSA rally or event.
Researchers also found extensive engagement with online creators known for anti-conservative content, including Sammy Obeid, Harry Sisson, Cameron McCloud, April Ajoy, Isaiah Martin, Dean Withers, and The Butterfaces. Wenske frequently reposted their videos that mocked Charlie and Erika Kirk, often using hashtags such as #erikakirk, #charliekirk, and #jdvance.
Wenske repeatedly shared posts that mocked Erika Kirk, portrayed her as a grifter, circulated conspiracy-themed content about her public profile, and reposted videos speculating about a relationship with Vice President JD Vance.

In November, Wenske shared two Halloween costume memes depicting Erika Kirk. One portrayed her as a “fake grieving widow grifter,” and another described her as a “right wing grifter” with “questionable motives,” “unwavering support of Israel,” and a “dead husband.” Wenske added the caption: “And standing on the coffin of your dead husband while having the VP snuggled up on your tits.”
He also shared a conspiracy-themed comedy clip about Erika Kirk with the caption: “If it’s not a conspiracy, why’s it conspiracy-shaped?” Another meme depicted Kirk and Vance as the star-crossed lovers from The Notebook, embracing in a dramatic rain-soaked kiss.

For broader anti-Trump and anti-conservative content, the report documented posts comparing Trump supporters to Nazis and President Donald Trump to genocidal dictator Adolf Hitler. 
Researchers also documented anti-ICE posts. In one October post, Wenske shared an ABC News article claiming Mexican cartels were offering bounties for hits against ICE and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers, adding the caption: “Drug Cartels where do I sign up!!!!!” 
His archived Facebook feed shows he used the same caption again in another post about the alleged bounties that day.

The investigation into Wenske began after a local newspaper shared a Facebook post promoting the TPUSA event, scheduled for June 5–7 at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, according to <a href="https://www.ksat.com/news/ksat-investigates/2026/05/28/man-arrested-for-threats-to-kill-erika-kirk-ahead-of-turning-point-usa-event-in-san-antonio/">KSAT-TV</a>.
“I know exactly where to bomb,” Wenske replied.
Authorities say Wenske also wrote in the same thread, “I can’t wait to be the valet for her escort.”
According to the affidavit, Wenske previously worked as a valet for hotels and special events through a parking management company. Public Venmo transactions reviewed by researchers appeared to corroborate that employment history, showing multiple payments labeled “valet tip,” “valet,” and other similar descriptions.
Authorities say Wenske later escalated the threats in an email that read: “Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event,” according to the arrest warrant.
Wenske was charged with a third-degree felony count of making a terroristic threat. His bond was set at $120,000.
The affidavit states that the threats resulted in a &#8220;substantial alteration of security operations” for the TPUSA event, including deploying additional uniformed police officers, bomb-sniffing dogs, increasing private security staffing, and other measures that caused “operational disruption and significant monetary expense to the victim venue.”
