“Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling blasted actress Emma Watson days after she gave an interview discussing the rift between them.
The 60-year-old British author has been at odds with the cast of the popular film franchise ever since 2020, when she was accused of anti-transgender rhetoric for taking issue with a report that discussed &#8220;people who menstruate&#8221; rather than specifying women. Several of the film stars, including Watson, made statements against her. 
During a recent interview, Watson <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/emma-watson-says-she-treasures-j-k-rowling-even-after-transgender-clash">said</a> she “treasure[s]” Rowling and hopes to “keep loving people” with whom she disagrees.
Rowling is not over their former feud, and trashed 35-year-old Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the film franchise.
“Like other people who&#8217;ve never experienced adult life uncushioned by wealth and fame, Emma has so little experience of real life she&#8217;s ignorant of how ignorant she is,” the billionaire author wrote in a scathing X post.

“I wasn&#8217;t a multimillionaire at fourteen. I lived in poverty while writing the book that made Emma famous. I therefore understand from my own life experience what the trashing of women&#8217;s rights in which Emma has so enthusiastically participated means to women and girls without her privileges,” the post went on.
“The greatest irony here is that, had Emma not decided in her most recent interview to declare that she loves and treasures me — a change of tack I suspect she&#8217;s adopted because she&#8217;s noticed full-throated condemnation of me is no longer quite as fashionable as it was — I might never have been this honest,” Rowling wrote. 
“Adults can&#8217;t expect to cozy up to an activist movement that regularly calls for a friend&#8217;s assassination, then assert their right to the former friend&#8217;s love, as though the friend was in fact their mother. Emma is rightly free to disagree with me and indeed to discuss her feelings about me in public &#8211; but I have the same right, and I&#8217;ve finally decided to exercise it.”
Rowling said in 2024 that she had no plans to forgive Watson or the other two “Harry Potter” stars who publicly supported transgender rights, which she said was to the detriment of society.
“Celebs who cozied up to a movement intent on eroding women’s hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatized detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces,” she <a href="https://x.com/jk_rowling/status/1778124467027267804">wrote</a> at the time in response to a fan inquiring about whether she would ever forgive them.
Watson previously made a public statement in the wake of Rowling speaking up against men invading women’s spaces in 2020. The actress said at the time, “Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are.”

&#8220;Harry Potter&#8221; actress Emma Watson said she still respects series creator J.K. Rowling, despite holding opposing views on rights for transgender-identifying individuals.
The 35-year-old became famous playing the role of Hermione Granger in the massively popular “Harry Potter” film franchise from 2001 until 2011. She and several of her co-stars, including Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, have publicly denounced Rowling due to her critical view of transgender activism.
Watson expanded on her viewpoints during a recently aired <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2caQ4j9oohE">episode</a> of the “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” podcast. When asked about her current thoughts on Rowling, the actress said, “I really don’t believe that by having had that experience and holding the love and support and views that I have, means that I can’t and don’t treasure (J.K. Rowling) and the person that I had personal experiences with.” 
Watson continued, saying, “I will never believe that one negates the other and that my experience of that person, I don’t get to keep and cherish. To come back to our earlier thing — I just don’t think these things are either/or. I think it’s my deepest wish that I hope people who don’t agree with my opinion will love me, and I hope I can keep loving people who I don’t necessarily share the same opinion with.”
“I think the thing I’m most upset about is that a conversation was never made possible,” she added.

Shetty followed up by asking if she was willing to speak with the “Harry Potter” creator, to which Watson replied, “Yeah, and I always will. I believe in that. I believe in that completely.”
After Rowling was attacked in 2020 for a series of social media posts taking issue with a story that discussed &#8220;people who menstruate&#8221; rather than specifying women. She said that &#8220;sex is real and has lived consequences,&#8221; sparking backlash from fans and &#8220;Harry Potter&#8221; stars who interpreted Rowling&#8217;s comments as anti-transgender rhetoric.
Watson released a statement saying, “Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are.” 
Earlier this month, “Harry Potter” film director Chris Columbus stated that a reunion of the original cast was unlikely to happen due to political reasons.
“It’s never going to happen. It’s gotten so complicated with all the political stuff. &#8220;Harry Potter&#8221; film director Chris Columbus cast doubt on the possibility of ever having a cast reunion — and suggested that author J.K. Rowling&#8217;s stance on the transgender issue was the primary reason such an event could never happen.
Columbus, who directed the first two films in the franchise and produced the third, said that differences of opinion on certain political issues would prevent the whole group from ever working together again — and clearly hinted that Rowling was the odd one out on that score.
The question came up during a recent interview with The Sunday Times, when Columbus said that he&#8217;d initially hoped to be able to bring the original cast back together for a film adaptation of the stage show &#8220;Harry Porter and the Cursed Child,&#8221; but that he&#8217;d ruled out such a project for &#8220;political&#8221; reasons.
&#8220;It’s never going to happen. It’s gotten so complicated with all the political stuff. Everyone in the cast has their own opinion, which is different from her opinion, which makes it impossible,&#8221; he explained. &#8220;I haven’t spoken to Miss Rowling in a decade or so, so I have no idea what’s going on with her, but I keep very close contact with Daniel Radcliffe and I just spoke to him a few days ago. Shortly after news of the interview and Columbus&#8217; comments began circulating on social media, Rowling posted a vague response via X.
&#8220;As another man who once worked with me declares himself saddened by my beliefs on gender and sex, I thought it might be useful to compile a list for handy reference,&#8221; Rowling began, asking, &#8220;Which of the following do you imagine makes actors and directors who aren’t involved with the HBO reboot of Harry Potter so miserable?&#8221;

That women should remain a protected class in law, because they have sex-specific needs and issues?&#8221;
Rowling&#8217;s list of questions went on at length as she added, &#8220;That language should reflect reality rather than ideological jargon, especially in a medical context? That women shouldn’t be harassed, persecuted or fired for refusing to pretend humans can change sex? That women should not be threatened with violence and rape when they assert their rights? That freedom of speech and belief are essential to a pluralistic democratic society? That troubled minors, especially those who are gay, autistic and trauma-experienced, should be given mental health support instead of irreversible surgeries and drug treatments on non-existent evidence of benefit? That gay people shouldn’t be pressured to include the opposite sex in their dating pools, nor should they be smeared as ‘genital fetishists’ when they don’t? That cross-dressing heterosexual male fetishists aren’t actually oppressed, but having the time of their lives piggybacking off gender identity ideology? That said ideology, and the privileged, blinkered fools pushing it because they suffer zero consequences themselves, have done more damage to the political left’s credibility than Trump and Farage could have achieved in a century? Rowling has often found herself at odds with <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jk-rowling-flags-harmful-message-trans-activists-are-sending-to-women-you-are-a-costume">radical trans activists</a> for her views on keeping private single sex spaces and protecting the sex-based rights of women, and has been labeled a Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist (TERF) on a number of occasions. “Harry Potter” actress Emma Watson has been banned from driving in the United Kingdom for six months after being caught speeding.
The 35-year-old celeb, who played Hermione Granger in the popular film franchise, was clocked doing 38 mph in a 30 mph zone in July of last year. Watson already had nine points on her license at the time of the incident, meaning she had previously committed driving offenses, each of which added points to her record.
According to the <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cly10x7pjplo">BBC</a>, the actress did not attend the hearing, but her lawyer made the statement, “She is in a position to pay the fine,” which was just under $1,400.
Watson has been living in Oxford, England, while pursuing a master’s degree in creative writing at the university there. The actress shot to fame in 2001, at the age of 11, following the release of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”
She appeared in all eight films over the next decade. 
Coincidentally, another Harry Potter actress, Zoë Wanamaker, was in court on speeding charges on the same day as Watson. 
The actress, 76, was caught driving 46 mph in a 40 mph zone and was also charged a fine of almost $1,400 and banned from driving for six months.
In 2023, Watson discussed stepping back from her Hollywood acting career.
“I’m just so glad that I did,” Watson <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/im-just-so-glad-emma-watson-talks-stepping-back-from-acting-and-why-she-did-it">told</a> British Vogue of taking a break. “Because I have this feeling of having my own voice and creative space and sovereignty in some way that I don’t think I did before — more autonomy.”
“I’m so glad that I allowed things to be messy for a minute and to really allow myself to not know [what’s next], because the knowing that I’ve come to, I wouldn’t trade that for anything,” she added.
“I get a front row seat [with] some of the most successful, beautiful, incredible people in the world,” Watson said of being part of Hollywood. “And when you have that seat it becomes very, very clear that there is just absolutely no level of success that will make you in any way happy or content if you do not like who you are or enjoy what you’re doing when no one’s watching.”

Producers are having trouble filling female roles in a play that attacks famed author <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/j-k-rowling">J.K. Rowling’s</a> transgender stance, with some 90 actresses turning down the offer so far.
Creators of a play called “TERF” — which stands for Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist — said their play is a “well-paid gig meeting industry standards and the script is terrific,” but still nearly 100 aspiring actresses have said no thanks, <a href="https://redstate.com/margaret-clark/2024/06/16/90-actresses-pass-on-role-as-jk-rowling-in-play-critical-of-her-gender-beliefs-because-women-agree-n2175571?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR1oAd36Y9J3hXtM3VvjmDVpdFVQ9DT87EqkqSwEBT9VzBv3eygi7uIc_qo_aem_ZmFrZWR1bW15MTZieXRlcw">Red State</a> reported.

The production has cast the male roles but 90 actresses have turned down the parts of Rowling and Watson amid concerns over the play’s criticism of the famed author, the <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/06/13/scores-actresses-turn-down-roles-play-critical-jk-rowling/">Telegraph</a> suggested.
The fictional play includes an intervention by “Harry Potter” stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint against Rowling to get her to change her views. All three of the “Harry Potter” stars have <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/harry-potter-stars-emma-watson-rupert-grint-defy-j-k-rowling-trans-women-are-women-trans-men-are-men">publicly slammed</a> the author over her support of biological women over trans-identifying males.
The play is expected to debut at the Edinburgh Fringe. A description of the <a href="https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/terf">production</a> read, “Jo led a blessed life. Literary phenomenon. Cultural icon. And beloved. Completely beloved &#8230; until everything went to hell in a broombasket. Now, Jo’s surrogate children – Daniel, Rupert, and Emma – have had enough. It’s time for an intervention.”
“Except Jo isn’t in the mood for an intervention, especially not one organized by three A-list Judases,” it added. &#8220;But the battle lines have already been drawn. She might not have started this war, but she&#8217;ll end it – with a smile. When she learns the cost of victory, though, it could be too high for even her to pay…&#8221;
In 2020, Radcliffe wrote an essay for The Trevor Project and apologized for &#8220;the pain&#8221; Rowling&#8217;s comments may have caused transgenders, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/harry-potter-actor-daniel-radcliffe-insists-trans-youth-can-tell-us-who-they-are">reported</a>.
“Transgender women are women,”  the actor said at the time in the <a href="https://www.thetrevorproject.org/blog/daniel-radcliffe-responds-to-j-k-rowlings-tweets-on-gender-identity/">essay</a>. &#8220;Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional healthcare associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo [Rowling] or [me].”
In a series of posts on <a href="https://x.com/EmmaWatson/status/1270826851070619649?lang=en">X</a>, Watson wrote, “Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are. I want my trans followers to know that I and so many other people around the world see you, respect you and love you for who you are.”

Actress Emma Watson shot to international stardom when she took on the role of brilliant young witch Hermione Granger in the film adaptations of J.K. Rowling&#8217;s &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/alan-rickmans-diary-dishes-all-the-dirt-on-his-harry-potter-costars" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Harry Potter</a>&#8221; — but she only just revealed why, after earning critical acclaim for later roles, she essentially vanished from Hollywood.
<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/woke-brat-emma-watson-slammed-for-apparent-swipe-at-j-k-rowling" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Watson</a>, who was just ten years old when she first donned her Hogwarts robes for &#8220;Harry Potter and the Sorcerer&#8217;s Stone,&#8221; hasn&#8217;t appeared on screen since &#8220;Little Women&#8221; — which wrapped in 2018 and was released in 2019. She explained the reason she had stepped away from acting during an <a href="https://www.ft.com/content/045a2d24-f207-4cc3-9a55-5d61a9633bf0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> with the Financial Times that was published Friday: she just wasn&#8217;t enjoying it.
&#8220;I wasn’t very happy, if I’m being honest. I think I felt a bit caged,&#8221; Watson said. &#8220;The thing I found really hard was that I had to go out and sell something that I really didn’t have very much control over. To stand in front of a film and have every journalist be able to say, ‘How does this align with your viewpoint?’”
&#8220;It was very difficult to have to be the face and the spokesperson for things where I didn’t get to be involved in the process. I was held accountable in a way that I began to find really frustrating, because I didn’t have a voice, I didn’t have a say,&#8221; Watson continued. &#8220;And I started to realize that I only wanted to stand in front of things where if someone was going to give me flak about it, I could say, in a way that didn’t make me hate myself, &#8216;Yes, I screwed up, it was my decision, I should have done better.’”
That&#8217;s not to say that Watson is finished with acting, she said, noting that if the right project were to come along, she would certainly jump at the chance to go back to movies: &#8220;Yes, absolutely. But I’m happy to sit and wait for the next right thing. I love what I do. It’s finding a way to do it where I don’t have to fracture myself into different faces and people. And I just don’t want to switch into robot mode any more.&#8221;
She has already tried her hand at directing, working behind the scenes late last year to write and direct an ad campaign for Prada.
&#8220;People always told me I should direct and produce, even when I was on Potter. I was worried it was just technical, not creative, and I couldn’t bring what I think is probably my skill set,&#8221; Watson explained, adding that the tipping point had been &#8220;friends asking for favors – ‘I need to do a photo shoot’ or ‘I’m making a video.’”

Excerpts from a diary written by the late actor Alan Rickman reveal what he really thought about his &#8220;<a href="http://www.dailywire.com/topic/harry-potter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Harry Potter</a>&#8221; costars, directors, and even legendary score-composer John Williams.
According to <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/film/2022/sep/24/alan-rickmans-secret-showbiz-diaries-harry-potter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Guardian</a>, Rickman kept a diary of sorts as early as 1972 — but only really got serious about making detailed entries some 20 years later. From 1992 until his death of pancreatic cancer in 2016, Rickman churned out 26 volumes — some illustrated — which were condensed and curated into a book due out in October.
The book, titled &#8220;Madly, Deeply: The Diaries of Alan Rickman,&#8221; features a series of diary entries written by the actor — who played the role of potions-master Severus Snape throughout the film series based on <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/twitter-deletes-trans-activist-video-with-j-k-rowling-death-threat-after-initially-saying-it-didnt-violate-safety-policies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">J.K. Rowling&#8217;s</a> books — over the course of his decades-long career.

In the diaries, Rickman noted the day he &#8220;said yes to HP&#8221; — August 23, 2000 — and the fact that he began reading the books shortly after accepting the role. He then detailed his initial costume fittings and his first conversation with Rowling about the role.

&#8220;I still don’t think he’s really an actor but he will undoubtedly direct/produce,&#8221; Rickman said of Radcliffe, praising his as &#8220;sensitive, articulate, and smart.&#8221;
&#8220;These kids need directing. They don’t know their lines,&#8221; he complained during the filming of the third movie, &#8220;The Prisoner of Azkaban.&#8221; Of Emma Watson — who played Hermione Granger — he complained that her pronunciation was &#8220;this side of Albania at times.&#8221;
Of the films, Rickman favored &#8220;The Prisoner of Azkaban&#8221; — saying of director Alfonso Cuarón&#8217;s work, &#8220;It is a very grown-up movie, so full of daring that it made me smile and smile. Every frame of it is the work of an artist and storyteller.&#8221;
His least favorite was the sixth film — &#8220;The Half-Blood Prince.&#8221; He complained in one entry: &#8220;The desire to eat and even more get a drink is matched only by the need to bang the three Davids’ heads against the nearest wall. I get the character development and the spiffing effects (dazzling), but where is the story????&#8221;
The &#8220;three Davids&#8221; he referenced were producers producers David Heyman and David Barron, and director David Yates.
Rickman also referred to the score of the first film, &#8220;The Sorcerer&#8217;s Stone&#8221; — written by veteran film composer John Williams — as &#8220;hideous.&#8221;

Watson was presenting the award for Best Outstanding British Film when she was prompted by host Rebel Wilson, who stated, “Here to present the next award is Emma Watson. She calls herself a feminist, but we all know she&#8217;s a witch.”
Wilson herself took a shot at Rowling, who has taken strong stands vis-à-vis the transgender movement; commenting on a photo shown on screen of her at the 2020 ceremony, Wilson sniped, “That was me two years ago and since then I&#8217;ve done quite a transformation – I hope J.K. Rowling still approves.”
Many social media users called Watson a “woke brat,” with some slamming her for being ungrateful toward Rowling.
In 2017, &#8220;non-binary&#8221; Orange is the New Black actress Asia Kate Dillon presented Watson the first &#8220;genderless&#8221; MTV award. Watson then <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/nonbinary-actress-presents-feminist-emma-watson-amanda-prestigiacomo/">gave this speech</a>:

I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth. &#8230; The idea that women like me, who’ve been empathetic to trans people for decades, feeling kinship because they’re vulnerable in the same way as women – ie, to male violence – ‘hate’ trans people because they think sex is real and has lived consequences – is a nonsense.”

‘Woke Brat’: Emma Watson Slammed For Apparent Swipe At J.K. Rowling

An open letter signed by more than 200 high-profile women called on social media platforms Facebook, Google, TikTok, and Twitter to take action when it comes to bullying and abuse.
These high-profile people included actress and activist Ashley Judd, former tennis star Billie Jean King, and British actress Emma Watson.
Addressed to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, the <a href="https://webfoundation.org/docs/2021/07/Generation-Equality-Open-Letter-to-tech-CEOs.pdf">letter</a> begins, “We write to you to ask that you urgently prioritize the safety of women on your platforms.”
Speaking of the Generation Equality Forum in Paris, during which “world leaders come together to agree on a plan to advance women’s rights,” the letter described the event as a “historic opportunity” for the “CEOs of some of the world’s most powerful tech platforms, to tackle one of the biggest barriers to gender equality: the pandemic of online abuse against women and girls.”
“The commitments you make today should be seen as a promise to women and girls around the world that you will decisively deal with the abuse that they are subject to on your platforms,” the letter continued.
According to the authors, “38% of women globally have directly experienced online abuse,” with this figure rising to “45% for Gen Zs and Millennials,” while the “abuse is often far worse” for “women of color, for black women in particular, for women from the LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized groups.”
“The internet is the town square of the 21st century. It is where debate takes place, communities are built, products are sold and reputations are made. But the scale of online abuse means that, for too many women, these digital town squares are unsafe. This is a threat to progress on gender equality,” the letter continued. “A huge volume of this abuse takes place on social media platforms — and its reach is global. Your decisions shape the way billions of people experience life online. With your incredible financial resources and engineering might, you have the unique capability and responsibility to ensure your platforms prevent, rather than fuel, this abuse.”
The authors did admit that “no quick-fix will cure the problem,” instead arguing that “there are many avenues to make significant progress.” They stated that it is “vital to put into action two priorities women have said are critical for their safety — more control of their experiences on your platforms, and better reporting systems:

Rather than a one-size-fits-all experience, women should have more control over who can interact with them on tech platforms, as well as more choice over what, when and how they see content online. These tools should be easy to find and simple to use. </li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Improve your systems for reporting abuse. Current tools need to be improved so women can easily report abuse and track the progress of these reports. For example, dashboards that show users the status of all their reports in one place, features to guide them through the reporting process, and tools that offer women access to additional support when it’s needed, could make a huge difference.</li>
</ul>
“Commitments you make today to address these two areas are a positive and necessary step. How you take these forward also matters. As you work towards these goals, we’ll be watching: we will recognize when you make progress and hold you to account when you don’t,” the letter concluded, adding that Big Tech’s progress “against these commitments will be tracked annually.”
“Imagine what you can achieve if you follow through on commitments to build safer platforms: an online world where a journalist can engage with feedback on her reporting, not assassinations of her character. Where a politician may read complaints about her policies, but not threats of rape and murder. Where a young woman can share what she wants to on her terms, knowing there are systems to keep her safe and hold harassers accountable,” the letter noted. “If you build this better internet for women, you will build a better internet for everyone. You have the way. Now show the world that you also have the will.”

&#8220;Harry Potter&#8221; actress Emma Watson has now doubled-down on her claims of being &#8220;self-partnered&#8221; instead of single, saying she appreciates how the label has empowered people in their singlehood.
&#8220;I never believed the whole ‘I’m happy single’ spiel. I was like, ‘This is totally spiel.’ It took me a long time, but I’m very happy [being single].&#8221; Watson told <a href="https://www.vogue.co.uk/news/article/emma-watson-on-fame-activism-little-women">British Vogue</a> back in November. “I call it being self-partnered.”
Watson said her dismissiveness of the label single stemmed from the anxiousness of turning 30.
“I was like, ‘Why does everyone make such a big fuss about turning 30? This is not a big deal … ‘ Cut to 29, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I feel so stressed and anxious,&#8217;” Watson added. “And I realize it’s because there is suddenly this bloody influx of subliminal messaging around. If you have not built a home, if you do not have a husband, if you do not have a baby, and you are turning 30, and you’re not in some incredibly secure, stable place in your career, or you’re still figuring things out … There’s just this incredible amount of anxiety.”
Speaking with <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1101122/emma-watson-is-so-happy-people-feel-empowered-by-her-self-partnered-label" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">E!’s “The Rundown”</a> this week, Watson said she intended her label to be a “throwaway comment&#8221; and did not realize it would gain such traction.
“I literally said it as a throwaway comment, thinking it would go no further,&#8221; she said. &#8220;And then I woke up the next morning and my phone’s blowing up and I don’t know why and it’s all my friends messaging me being like, ‘Self-partnered?’ This thing’s gone crazy.”
&#8220;I&#8217;m so happy people feel empowered,&#8221; she added, asserting she is &#8220;100% committed&#8221; to being self-partnered even when in a relationship.
“It’s much more about your relationship with yourself and the feeling of not somehow deficient in some way because you’re not with someone,” she continued.
At the time, when Emma Watson unveiled her new phrase for singlehood, Michael Knowles of The Daily Wire decried it as a &#8220;recipe for misery.&#8221;
&#8220;This is a recipe for misery. It’s not just in self-partnership,&#8221; Knowles <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/knowles-self-partnership-is-a-recipe-for-misery">argued</a>. &#8220;AI has permitted sex robot technology to get really, really advanced. So there are now sex robot brothels, there are now sex robots that don’t just move their arms and do whatever sort of things you want a sex robot to do, they actually have chest cavities that can breathe. They’re actually simulating human beings. They’re really close. I mean, Mashable did a report on this the other day. They said that the robots are just as good as people. But they’re not people, they’re just hunks of metal and plastic.&#8221;
Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro argued this new trend in self-coupling indicates that society needs to take the social institution of marriage seriously again.
