“Harry Potter” actress Emma Watson has been banned from driving in the United Kingdom for six months after being caught speeding.
The 35-year-old celeb, who played Hermione Granger in the popular film franchise, was clocked doing 38 mph in a 30 mph zone in July of last year. Watson already had nine points on her license at the time of the incident, meaning she had previously committed driving offenses, each of which added points to her record.
According to the <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cly10x7pjplo">BBC</a>, the actress did not attend the hearing, but her lawyer made the statement, “She is in a position to pay the fine,” which was just under $1,400.
Watson has been living in Oxford, England, while pursuing a master’s degree in creative writing at the university there. The actress shot to fame in 2001, at the age of 11, following the release of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”
She appeared in all eight films over the next decade. 
Coincidentally, another Harry Potter actress, Zoë Wanamaker, was in court on speeding charges on the same day as Watson. 
The actress, 76, was caught driving 46 mph in a 40 mph zone and was also charged a fine of almost $1,400 and banned from driving for six months.
In 2023, Watson discussed stepping back from her Hollywood acting career.
“I’m just so glad that I did,” Watson <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/im-just-so-glad-emma-watson-talks-stepping-back-from-acting-and-why-she-did-it">told</a> British Vogue of taking a break. “Because I have this feeling of having my own voice and creative space and sovereignty in some way that I don’t think I did before — more autonomy.”
“I’m so glad that I allowed things to be messy for a minute and to really allow myself to not know [what’s next], because the knowing that I’ve come to, I wouldn’t trade that for anything,” she added.
“I get a front row seat [with] some of the most successful, beautiful, incredible people in the world,” Watson said of being part of Hollywood. “And when you have that seat it becomes very, very clear that there is just absolutely no level of success that will make you in any way happy or content if you do not like who you are or enjoy what you’re doing when no one’s watching.”

Producers are having trouble filling female roles in a play that attacks famed author <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/j-k-rowling">J.K. Rowling’s</a> transgender stance, with some 90 actresses turning down the offer so far.
Creators of a play called “TERF” — which stands for Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist — said their play is a “well-paid gig meeting industry standards and the script is terrific,” but still nearly 100 aspiring actresses have said no thanks, <a href="https://redstate.com/margaret-clark/2024/06/16/90-actresses-pass-on-role-as-jk-rowling-in-play-critical-of-her-gender-beliefs-because-women-agree-n2175571?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR1oAd36Y9J3hXtM3VvjmDVpdFVQ9DT87EqkqSwEBT9VzBv3eygi7uIc_qo_aem_ZmFrZWR1bW15MTZieXRlcw">Red State</a> reported.
&#8220;This project has met some kind of resistance every step of the way, though I’ve been generally surprised by how difficult it has been for us to recruit the female cast in particular,&#8221; creative producer Barry Church-Woods told the <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/06/13/scores-actresses-turn-down-roles-play-critical-jk-rowling/?ICID=continue_without_subscribing_reg_first">Telegraph</a>.
“I think it’s fair to say that a few things are coming into play in casting,” he added.

The production has cast the male roles but 90 actresses have turned down the parts of Rowling and Watson amid concerns over the play’s criticism of the famed author, the <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/06/13/scores-actresses-turn-down-roles-play-critical-jk-rowling/">Telegraph</a> suggested.
The fictional play includes an intervention by “Harry Potter” stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint against Rowling to get her to change her views. All three of the “Harry Potter” stars have <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/harry-potter-stars-emma-watson-rupert-grint-defy-j-k-rowling-trans-women-are-women-trans-men-are-men">publicly slammed</a> the author over her support of biological women over trans-identifying males.
The play is expected to debut at the Edinburgh Fringe. A description of the <a href="https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/terf">production</a> read, “Jo led a blessed life. Literary phenomenon. Cultural icon. And beloved. Completely beloved &#8230; until everything went to hell in a broombasket. Now, Jo’s surrogate children – Daniel, Rupert, and Emma – have had enough. It’s time for an intervention.”
“Except Jo isn’t in the mood for an intervention, especially not one organized by three A-list Judases,” it added. &#8220;But the battle lines have already been drawn. She might not have started this war, but she&#8217;ll end it – with a smile. When she learns the cost of victory, though, it could be too high for even her to pay…&#8221;
In 2020, Radcliffe wrote an essay for The Trevor Project and apologized for &#8220;the pain&#8221; Rowling&#8217;s comments may have caused transgenders, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/harry-potter-actor-daniel-radcliffe-insists-trans-youth-can-tell-us-who-they-are">reported</a>.
“Transgender women are women,”  the actor said at the time in the <a href="https://www.thetrevorproject.org/blog/daniel-radcliffe-responds-to-j-k-rowlings-tweets-on-gender-identity/">essay</a>. &#8220;Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional healthcare associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo [Rowling] or [me].”
In a series of posts on <a href="https://x.com/EmmaWatson/status/1270826851070619649?lang=en">X</a>, Watson wrote, “Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are. I want my trans followers to know that I and so many other people around the world see you, respect you and love you for who you are.”
Grint previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/harry-potter-stars-emma-watson-rupert-grint-defy-j-k-rowling-trans-women-are-women-trans-men-are-men">stated</a>, “I firmly stand with the trans community and echo the sentiments expressed by many of my peers. Trans women are women. Trans men are men. We should all be entitled to live with love and without judgment.”

She explained the reason she had stepped away from acting during an <a href="https://www.ft.com/content/045a2d24-f207-4cc3-9a55-5d61a9633bf0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> with the Financial Times that was published Friday: she just wasn&#8217;t enjoying it.
&#8220;I wasn’t very happy, if I’m being honest. But I’m happy to sit and wait for the next right thing. I love what I do. It’s finding a way to do it where I don’t have to fracture myself into different faces and people. And I just don’t want to switch into robot mode any more.&#8221;
She has already tried her hand at directing, working behind the scenes late last year to write and direct an ad campaign for Prada.
&#8220;People always told me I should direct and produce, even when I was on Potter. I was worried it was just technical, not creative, and I couldn’t bring what I think is probably my skill set,&#8221; Watson explained, adding that the tipping point had been &#8220;friends asking for favors – ‘I need to do a photo shoot’ or ‘I’m making a video.’”

Excerpts from a diary written by the late actor Alan Rickman reveal what he really thought about his &#8220;<a href="http://www.dailywire.com/topic/harry-potter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Harry Potter</a>&#8221; costars, directors, and even legendary score-composer John Williams.
According to <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/film/2022/sep/24/alan-rickmans-secret-showbiz-diaries-harry-potter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Guardian</a>, Rickman kept a diary of sorts as early as 1972 — but only really got serious about making detailed entries some 20 years later. From 1992 until his death of pancreatic cancer in 2016, Rickman churned out 26 volumes — some illustrated — which were condensed and curated into a book due out in October.
The book, titled &#8220;Madly, Deeply: The Diaries of Alan Rickman,&#8221; features a series of diary entries written by the actor — who played the role of potions-master Severus Snape throughout the film series based on <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/twitter-deletes-trans-activist-video-with-j-k-rowling-death-threat-after-initially-saying-it-didnt-violate-safety-policies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">J.K. Rowling&#8217;s</a> books — over the course of his decades-long career.

In the diaries, Rickman noted the day he &#8220;said yes to HP&#8221; — August 23, 2000 — and the fact that he began reading the books shortly after accepting the role. He then detailed his initial costume fittings and his first conversation with Rowling about the role.

His least favorite was the sixth film — &#8220;The Half-Blood Prince.&#8221; He complained in one entry: &#8220;The desire to eat and even more get a drink is matched only by the need to bang the three Davids’ heads against the nearest wall. I get the character development and the spiffing effects (dazzling), but where is the story????&#8221;
The &#8220;three Davids&#8221; he referenced were producers producers David Heyman and David Barron, and director David Yates.
Rickman also referred to the score of the first film, &#8220;The Sorcerer&#8217;s Stone&#8221; — written by veteran film composer John Williams — as &#8220;hideous.&#8221;

Watson was presenting the award for Best Outstanding British Film when she was prompted by host Rebel Wilson, who stated, “Here to present the next award is Emma Watson. She calls herself a feminist, but we all know she&#8217;s a witch.”
Wilson herself took a shot at Rowling, who has taken strong stands vis-à-vis the transgender movement; commenting on a photo shown on screen of her at the 2020 ceremony, Wilson sniped, “That was me two years ago and since then I&#8217;ve done quite a transformation – I hope J.K. Rowling still approves.”
Many social media users called Watson a “woke brat,” with some slamming her for being ungrateful toward Rowling.
In 2017, &#8220;non-binary&#8221; Orange is the New Black actress Asia Kate Dillon presented Watson the first &#8220;genderless&#8221; MTV award. Watson then <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/nonbinary-actress-presents-feminist-emma-watson-amanda-prestigiacomo/">gave this speech</a>:

‘Woke Brat’: Emma Watson Slammed For Apparent Swipe At J.K. Rowling

An open letter signed by more than 200 high-profile women called on social media platforms Facebook, Google, TikTok, and Twitter to take action when it comes to bullying and abuse.
These high-profile people included actress and activist Ashley Judd, former tennis star Billie Jean King, and British actress Emma Watson.
Addressed to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, the <a href="https://webfoundation.org/docs/2021/07/Generation-Equality-Open-Letter-to-tech-CEOs.pdf">letter</a> begins, “We write to you to ask that you urgently prioritize the safety of women on your platforms.”
Speaking of the Generation Equality Forum in Paris, during which “world leaders come together to agree on a plan to advance women’s rights,” the letter described the event as a “historic opportunity” for the “CEOs of some of the world’s most powerful tech platforms, to tackle one of the biggest barriers to gender equality: the pandemic of online abuse against women and girls.”
“The commitments you make today should be seen as a promise to women and girls around the world that you will decisively deal with the abuse that they are subject to on your platforms,” the letter continued.
According to the authors, “38% of women globally have directly experienced online abuse,” with this figure rising to “45% for Gen Zs and Millennials,” while the “abuse is often far worse” for “women of color, for black women in particular, for women from the LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized groups.”
“The internet is the town square of the 21st century. It is where debate takes place, communities are built, products are sold and reputations are made. But the scale of online abuse means that, for too many women, these digital town squares are unsafe. This is a threat to progress on gender equality,” the letter continued. “A huge volume of this abuse takes place on social media platforms — and its reach is global. Your decisions shape the way billions of people experience life online. With your incredible financial resources and engineering might, you have the unique capability and responsibility to ensure your platforms prevent, rather than fuel, this abuse.”
The authors did admit that “no quick-fix will cure the problem,” instead arguing that “there are many avenues to make significant progress.” They stated that it is “vital to put into action two priorities women have said are critical for their safety — more control of their experiences on your platforms, and better reporting systems:

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Give people greater control to manage their safety. Rather than a one-size-fits-all experience, women should have more control over who can interact with them on tech platforms, as well as more choice over what, when and how they see content online. These tools should be easy to find and simple to use. </li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Improve your systems for reporting abuse. Current tools need to be improved so women can easily report abuse and track the progress of these reports. For example, dashboards that show users the status of all their reports in one place, features to guide them through the reporting process, and tools that offer women access to additional support when it’s needed, could make a huge difference.</li>
</ul>
“Commitments you make today to address these two areas are a positive and necessary step. How you take these forward also matters. As you work towards these goals, we’ll be watching: we will recognize when you make progress and hold you to account when you don’t,” the letter concluded, adding that Big Tech’s progress “against these commitments will be tracked annually.”
“Imagine what you can achieve if you follow through on commitments to build safer platforms: an online world where a journalist can engage with feedback on her reporting, not assassinations of her character. Where a politician may read complaints about her policies, but not threats of rape and murder. Where a young woman can share what she wants to on her terms, knowing there are systems to keep her safe and hold harassers accountable,” the letter noted. “If you build this better internet for women, you will build a better internet for everyone. You have the way. Now show the world that you also have the will.”

&#8220;Harry Potter&#8221; actress Emma Watson has now doubled-down on her claims of being &#8220;self-partnered&#8221; instead of single, saying she appreciates how the label has empowered people in their singlehood.
&#8220;I never believed the whole ‘I’m happy single’ spiel. I was like, ‘This is totally spiel.’ It took me a long time, but I’m very happy [being single].&#8221; Watson told <a href="https://www.vogue.co.uk/news/article/emma-watson-on-fame-activism-little-women">British Vogue</a> back in November. “I call it being self-partnered.”
Watson said her dismissiveness of the label single stemmed from the anxiousness of turning 30.
“I was like, ‘Why does everyone make such a big fuss about turning 30? This is not a big deal … ‘ Cut to 29, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I feel so stressed and anxious,&#8217;” Watson added. “And I realize it’s because there is suddenly this bloody influx of subliminal messaging around. If you have not built a home, if you do not have a husband, if you do not have a baby, and you are turning 30, and you’re not in some incredibly secure, stable place in your career, or you’re still figuring things out … There’s just this incredible amount of anxiety.”
Speaking with <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1101122/emma-watson-is-so-happy-people-feel-empowered-by-her-self-partnered-label" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">E!’s “The Rundown”</a> this week, Watson said she intended her label to be a “throwaway comment&#8221; and did not realize it would gain such traction.
“I literally said it as a throwaway comment, thinking it would go no further,&#8221; she said. &#8220;And then I woke up the next morning and my phone’s blowing up and I don’t know why and it’s all my friends messaging me being like, ‘Self-partnered?’ This thing’s gone crazy.”
&#8220;I&#8217;m so happy people feel empowered,&#8221; she added, asserting she is &#8220;100% committed&#8221; to being self-partnered even when in a relationship.
“It’s much more about your relationship with yourself and the feeling of not somehow deficient in some way because you’re not with someone,” she continued.
At the time, when Emma Watson unveiled her new phrase for singlehood, Michael Knowles of The Daily Wire decried it as a &#8220;recipe for misery.&#8221;
&#8220;This is a recipe for misery. It’s not just in self-partnership,&#8221; Knowles <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/knowles-self-partnership-is-a-recipe-for-misery">argued</a>. &#8220;AI has permitted sex robot technology to get really, really advanced. So there are now sex robot brothels, there are now sex robots that don’t just move their arms and do whatever sort of things you want a sex robot to do, they actually have chest cavities that can breathe. They’re actually simulating human beings. They’re really close. I mean, Mashable did a report on this the other day. They said that the robots are just as good as people. But they’re not people, they’re just hunks of metal and plastic.&#8221;
Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro argued this new trend in self-coupling indicates that society needs to take the social institution of marriage seriously again.
&#8220;Solving the problem of making right and moral decisions that better your life — that is how your life gets better,&#8221; <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/shapiro-self-coupling-the-newest-frontier-on-the-culture-war">Shapiro said</a>. &#8220;That means taking seriously the fundamental social institutions that [have] been broken by the Left since the 1960s, focusing on restoring those — because those are things you can do. Emma Watson Doubles Down On ‘Self-Partnered’ Label: ‘So Happy People Feel Empowered’

On Wednesday’s episode of “The Michael Knowles Show,” Knowles talks about Emma Watson’s recent announcement that she has chosen to be in a relationship with herself. Video and partial transcript below: 
Emma Watson is partnered to herself — in other words, she&#8217;s single. This is delusional language, and I understand why people are using this language, but you really shouldn&#8217;t because it&#8217;s going to lead to misery. 
First of all, I&#8217;m not saying marriage is for everyone. Some of the happiest people on earth are unmarried. There was a survey that that went around of the “happiest jobs” thing, I think this was in 2007 out of the University of Chicago, the happiest people in the world, the most job-satisfied and fulfilled people are actually celibate Catholic priests. So marriage is not for everybody. Plenty of religious people who are unmarried &#8230; are very happy. And for people who just happen to be single, they happen to be unmarried, there are ways to promote long-term happiness. 
There was another study out of Harvard. It&#8217;s one of the longest studies of adult life ever conducted, it showed that relationships with your family, relationships with friends, relationships with the local community, can seriously promote long-term happiness, even if you&#8217;re unmarried, or you&#8217;ve never been married, or you’re divorced, or you&#8217;re a widow.
The difference between all of those things and being self-partnered is the object of your relationships. Because priests are not self-partnered; priests are in a relationship with God. People who have long-term happiness and are unmarried are not self-partnered. They have strong bonds to their communities, their family, to friends to go to church, to going to the local PTA, going to the local Lions Club, whatever.

Marrying yourself, self-partnership, all different. I mean, we&#8217;ve seen self-marriage crop up in recent years, not just Dennis Rodman. I mean, Dennis Rodman probably started this trend in the 1990s when he declared himself bisexual, put on a wedding dress, and said he was going to marry himself. When Dennis Rodman did that, we all laughed about it. We all joked, right, I mean this was kind of a ridiculous stunt. Now, years later, it&#8217;s actually happening. 
Two years ago, in 2017, a woman named Adriana Lima married herself. Other women have done this; their stories about this crop up all the time. They call it sologamy. Thirteen years ago, so after Rodman but before Adriana Lima, a woman named [Alexandra] Gill wed herself. And she said, quote, &#8220;You’re the one constant.&#8221;
&#8220;Your parents will die, your children will grow up and your friends will move, but you’re always there.&#8221; 
&#8220;I&#8217;m not looking for The One. I am The One.&#8221;
This is a recipe for misery. It&#8217;s not just in self-partnership &#8230; AI has permitted sex robot technology to get really, really advanced. But people are, I think, mistakenly doing all of these things. These women who are marrying themselves, or people who were buying sex robots, or people who were saying, I&#8217;m partnered with myself, I don&#8217;t need anybody. Forget the feminist line from the 70s, “A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle.” We can now say, “I need anybody else like a fish needs a bicycle. I don&#8217;t need anybody. I need me. All I need is myself. I am perfectly sufficient.”
Emma Watson had that feminist campaign a few years ago, called “HeForShe,” [but] it&#8217;s now becoming me for me. I understand the idea, there is a loneliness epidemic that&#8217;s going around this country and around the West generally. Loneliness is way, way up. There was a study came out of ViceLand, it surveyed young people, it found out that Millennials are more afraid of being lonely than they are of losing a job or losing a house. That survey showed that 42% of millennial women are more afraid of loneliness than they are of cancer. Stress, anxiety, depression — all up in recent years. Antidepressant pills, all up, people feeling very isolated, and so they turn to these these comforts, what they think are going to be comforts, sex robots, or the idea of self-sufficiency, or internet porn, which is just the same thing as sex robots, it&#8217;s just, you can&#8217;t touch it. It&#8217;s not as tangible, but it&#8217;s the same idea. 
Then ironically, when people turn to these things to alleviate their loneliness, they become more isolated. They become more withdrawn. Why? The reason is this culture of self-love — which you see all the time in leftist publications, you see it in Emma Watson talking to Vogue magazine — the cult of self-love has deluded people into confusing the virtue of endurance with the sin of pride. Everybody is going to be lonely — that happens to every single person multiple times throughout their lives for sometimes extended periods of time.
It is a virtue to be able to endure that loneliness, and what we try to do is mitigate the effects of that loneliness by engaging with our community, and by praying to God, and by involving ourselves in the whole world. Very different from the sin of pride, which tells us that we are sufficient unto ourselves, “I don&#8217;t need a partner. I don&#8217;t need it.”
But &#8230; human beings are not self-sufficient. It&#8217;s even, I think, sometimes conservatives want to lean a little too much in this direction of self-reliance. “I don&#8217;t need anybody else, I’ll just go it alone,” but you actually can&#8217;t. Human beings are meant to be in society together; there is no such thing as the state of nature where I&#8217;m a single individual atom just floating out in the universe. I&#8217;m born into a family, in a town, in a society with customs and traditions. Human beings are social animals, we are meant to be together. 
We&#8217;re the political animal. And what is the political animal? Politics is living together with other people and determining how you&#8217;re going to live and how you&#8217;re going to govern yourself. We feel that, and so we try to replace those social bonds with virtual social bonds — digital, virtual partnering with myself, or marrying myself, or looking at internet porn, or buying a sex robot. I understand the suffering that comes with it. I think the people who are saying these things are really trying hard to make the best of a bad situation. But denial is not going to help anything.

Actress Emma Watson, who has been a leading supporter of the Time&#8217;s Up movement, decided to show off her new tattoo honoring the movement at the Oscars on Sunday evening, but the spellchecker for the tattooist didn&#8217;t get there in time.
Watson, who got her bachelor&#8217;s degree in English literature from Brown University in May 2014, displayed a tattoo reading &#8220;Times Up&#8221; without the requisite apostrophe, prompting some to express their disenchantment with the error:

A slew of Hollywood A-listers &#8212; like Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts, Scarlett Johansson, Emma Watson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Nicole Kidman &#8212; haven&#8217;t said a peep about Harvey Weinstein and his sex scandal sweeping Tinseltown.
Also mum: Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, who attended fundraisers with the famed film producers, hauling in millions from celebrities.
Weinstein was terminated this week by his board of directors after being accused of sexually harassing actresses Rose McGowan and Ashley Judd. In all, he negotiated at least eight settlements to women, who are bound by non-disclosure agreements under legal terms of the arrangements.
Many of the silent Hollywood starlets are advocates for women. Kidman is a United Nations women&#8217;s ambassador and said in 2013 that violence against women is &#8220;the greatest outrage.&#8221; But so far, she hasn&#8217;t said a word about Weinstein.
While other A-listers, like Meryl Streep, have finally weighed in, many have not. Roberts, who starred in several of Weinstein&#8217;s movies, signed an open letter demanding gender equality earlier this year, but so far hasn&#8217;t commented on Weinstein&#8217;s scandal.
Lawrence has also stayed quiet. She won an Oscar for Weinstein&#8217;s 2012 film Silver Linings Playbook, and has been vocal about being paid less &#8220;than the lucky people with d*cks.&#8221; So far, nothing.
Johansson has said fighting for equality is &#8220;an uphill battle&#8221; and that &#8220;sexism is real,&#8221; but she still hasn&#8217;t said anything about the sex scandal consuming Hollywood.
Watson has also been a U.N. Women Goodwill Ambassador since 2014, but she hasn&#8217;t posted a thought about Weinstein on Twitter, where 26.6 million people follow her.
Paltrow has been conspicuous in her silence. She won an Oscar for Weinstein&#8217;s film Shakespeare in Love in 1998, but hasn&#8217;t told her 2.9 million Twitter followers how she feels about the pervy director.
&#8220;Two days ago, Paltrow shared a photo of mountains in Georgia to her Instagram page and simply captioned it, &#8216;Georgia sunrise/moonset&#8217; with no mention of the news rocking Hollywood,&#8221; <a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4963888/Gwyneth-Paltrow-trolled-silence-Harvey-Weinstein.html">the Daily Mail</a> reported on Monday. &#8220;&#8216;Your silence on the Harvey Weinstein situation speaks volume,&#8217; a female Instagram user wrote to Paltrow.&#8221;
Perhaps less surprising for their silence is Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Both hauled in buckets of cash during fundraisers thrown by the Hollywood bigwig, a major Democratic Party money broker.
&#8220;Representatives for the Clintons have not responded to comment for this story, and Obama&#8217;s office declined to comment,&#8221; <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/09/politics/clinton-obama-weinstein/index.html">CNN</a> reported. &#8220;Clinton did not mention Weinstein during an appearance Monday night at the University of California, Davis, as part of her book tour, her first public appearance since the story broke.&#8221;
