Stellantis, one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, announced on Wednesday a $388 million investment to develop a two-million-square-foot parts distribution facility in Wayne County, Michigan. 
This “megahub” will feature an automated storage system, called AutoStore, which utilizes robots to efficiently retrieve and deliver parts to workstations, aiming to enhance speed and accuracy in parts processing. The hub will serve as a central facility for Stellantis’ Mopar parts operations, and will support about 488 union-represented jobs, honoring the company’s commitment to support union labor.
In an X post on Thursday, the White House’s &#8220;Rapid Response&#8221; account <a href="http://x.com/RapidResponse47/status/1925627671670624374" target="_blank" rel="noopener">credited</a> the “TRUMP EFFECT” for the investment. The facility, which will launch in 2027, will be located in Van Buren Township.
President Donald Trump has repeatedly pressured automakers to build cars and manufacture parts in America. His <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/both-countries-will-become-stronger-trumps-trade-deal-will-give-u-s-more-access-to-u-k-economy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">trade agreement</a> with the United Kingdom imposed a 10% tariff on U.K. exports to the United States, while keeping American automakers at a 25% tariff for vehicles and parts manufactured outside of the country. 
Stellantis said this new investment, as well as the sale of their parts distribution centers in Center Line, Marysville, and Milwaukee, is part of a “broader consolidation strategy,” CBS News <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/detroit/news/stellantis-388-million-investment-metro-detroit-hub/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. Employees from the Center Line, Warren, and Warren Sherwood, Michigan, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, parts facilities will be moved to the new “megahub,” while workers from the Marysville, Michigan, center will be moved to the Warren and Warren Sherwood facilities.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested in the Detroit area after he allegedly broke into a dozen homes to target young girls.
Investigators suspect the 13-year-old is behind at least 11 successful or attempted home invasions in Pontiac and Detroit, some possibly dating back to 2022, <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/02/10/us-news/13-year-old-boy-accused-of-breaking-into-11-detroit-area-homes-to-target-young-girls-sheriff/">reported</a> the New York Post.
&#8220;He was targeting the homes of young girls,&#8221; Sheriff Michael Bouchard said. &#8220;It&#8217;s terrifying. Any adult would shudder at the thought, let alone a child.&#8221;
Authorities say he was wearing a mask and armed with a knife during the most recent incident on February 4, when a 10-year-old girl was choked in her bedroom until her screams drew her mother.
&#8220;In terms of physical injuries, thank God we have very little, but obviously the emotional impact, when you&#8217;re a child in your bedroom, the most safe and secure thing at home, there obviously has to be a process for them to deal with that trauma, that emotional trauma, that mental health. I think that&#8217;s going to be the biggest, ongoing thing,&#8221; Bouchard said, according to <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/detroit/news/oakland-county-officials-discuss-home-invasions-targeting-young-women/">CBS News</a>.
Officials added that the teen was identified through a circulated photo and is being held at a juvenile detention center, with his parent cooperating as possible charges await.
Authorities had urged local residents in Pontiac and Detroit to secure their windows and doors as the investigation intensified. That caution came amid uncertainty about the intruder’s identity after law enforcement initially believed the suspect to be older, possibly between 17 and 21.
A tip from a local community member, however, led to his capture last Thursday. According to CBS Detroit, deputies <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/detroit/news/oakland-county-officials-discuss-home-invasions-targeting-young-women/">received</a> a phone call from someone who recognized a photo that authorities had released, allowing law enforcement to locate and arrest the individual.

Detroit Democratic Mayor Mike Duggan refused to apologize to leftist immigrant rights groups for using the term &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/illegal-immigration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">illegal</a>&#8221; to describe the migrants in his city who entered the U.S. illegally.
Last week, Duggan used the term &#8220;illegal&#8221; when discussing Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in Detroit. Nine immigrant rights groups in Michigan condemned the mayor on Wednesday, saying in a press release that the &#8220;use of the I-word&#8221; is &#8220;dehumanizing,&#8221; The Detroit News <a href="https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/local/detroit-city/2025/01/29/immigrant-rights-groups-slam-detroit-mayor-mike-duggan-using-the-i-word-illegal-immigrant/78022796007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
&#8220;The Mayor’s use of the I-word is inappropriate, dehumanizing, and an insult to Detroit’s longstanding immigrant communities,&#8221; the groups said in their joint statement.
Duggan, who recently launched a campaign for governor, responded to the criticism, saying that the groups are condemning him over &#8220;political correctness.&#8221; He added, “During my term as Mayor, Detroit has been a welcoming city, where we support the success of immigrants. But when Detroit police make a criminal arrest and DPD gets federal notification that the person in custody is in the country illegally, we should not and do not shield you from federal enforcement.&#8221;
&#8220;Groups who oppose this position are criticizing me today over the political correctness of my statements, but I do not apologize for providing a clear explanation of Detroit’s position,&#8221; Duggan continued. &#8220;It is a position we have followed consistently through the Obama, Trump and Biden administrations.&#8221;
The groups that signed the press release included the African Bureau for Immigration and Social Affairs, American Citizens for Justice, the Caribbean Community Services Center, MI Poder, One Michigan for Immigrant Rights, Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation, the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, and 1 Michigan for the Global Majority, according to The Detroit News.
At a press conference last Thursday, Duggan emphasized that Detroit is &#8220;not a sanctuary city&#8221; as President Donald Trump&#8217;s administration ramps up arrests and deportations of criminal illegal immigrants.
&#8220;If you are in this country illegally, we should not be shielding you from ICE and federal enforcement, and the city of Detroit does not,&#8221; the mayor said, according to the <a href="https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/detroit/2025/01/24/mayor-mike-duggan-detroit-ice/77931144007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Detroit Free Press</a>. He added that Detroit police &#8220;have always cooperated with ICE.&#8221;
Federal agents <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ice-made-over-2500-arrests-in-trumps-first-week" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ramped up</a> immigration raids last week, targeting sanctuary cities such as Los Angeles and Chicago. This week, newly minted Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/new-dhs-sec-kristi-noem-joins-federal-agents-for-nyc-immigration-raids" target="_blank" rel="noopener">on the ground</a> in New York City as federal agents arrested violent illegal immigrants. A video of an interaction between the woman, whose real name is Dajua Blanding, went viral on social media. Blanding and the Lyft driver are heard arguing as he explains that he won’t be able to accommodate her in his vehicle.
&#8220;I can fit in this car,&#8221; Blanding can be heard saying, to which the driver responded, &#8220;Believe me, you can&#8217;t.&#8221;
The Lyft driver apologized and assured Blanding she would not be charged for the service. He also said she could try ordering a larger sized vehicle such as an Uber XL.

&#8220;I&#8217;ve been in cars smaller than that,&#8221; the rapper <a href="https://www.fox2detroit.com/news/detroit-rapper-sues-after-lyft-driver-says-she-wont-fit-his-car">told</a> the local Detroit affiliate FOX 2. &#8220;I just want them to know that it hurt my feelings.&#8221;
Since then, Blanding took to Instagram to announce that she was suing Lyft for discrimination. &#8220;If I [don’t] stand for something, I&#8217;ll fall for anything,” she wrote in the <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DFWFWqbSpru/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1">post</a>. “Thank you to my lawyers, Marco and Zach Runyan! Fighting for my community my people and making a change in the world, not just for me, but for everyone. Thank you to my team and all the support I’m getting.”
Since the video went viral, Lyft has also released a statement on the interaction.
&#8220;Lyft unequivocally condemns all forms of discrimination—we believe in a community where everyone is treated with equal respect and mutual kindness. Our community guidelines and terms of service explicitly prohibit harassment or discrimination,” the rideshare company said, per Fox 2.
Social media reactions were mixed, with many users siding with the Lyft driver and saying he had the right to refuse service if it was for a valid safety concern. Some users also noted that Blanding would likely be required to purchase more than one seat on an airplane, which they used as a comparable situation.
“The Uber driver has the right to deny service if he or she feels there is a valid concern for their safety or the safety of the rider(s). I think the driver made the correct decision here,” one person <a href="https://x.com/MauriceCooley/status/1883884873007693989">wrote</a> in response to the video.
A second commenter <a href="https://x.com/Pennywise_7/status/1883675108981809595">said</a>, “I actually had 3 overweight men bottom out and ruin my shocks and break the frame of my car when I was an uber driver way back. This is reasonable.”
“I understand both sides. That’s his personal vehicle and if anything was to happen, Lyft isn’t buying him a new car. Also, denying her service is embarrassing and unprofessional, but unfortunately I do understand why,” a third person <a href="https://x.com/fentyDOM/status/1883686124910264712">said</a>.
The Instagram comments showed a similar response. One popular reaction to Blanding’s announcement that she was suing Lyft said, “So friend you mad because someone wasn’t comfortable with you getting in their car? I’m big too and I know some cars I have no business in. That car was already low to the floor.&#8221;
The commenter continued, “He also was very respectful and didn’t try to humiliate you! All you had to do was let him cancel and send you another one… We have bigger issues in our community like high blood pressure and diabetes.”

Detroit Democratic Mayor Mike Duggan, who has been in office since 2014, announced that he is running for Michigan governor as an independent in the 2026 election.
Duggan, 66, who has served decades in public office in Wayne County and Detroit, told city employees last week that he would not run for another term as mayor. He officially announced in a press release on Wednesday that he is running to replace Michigan Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who is term-limited after 2026, the Detroit Free Press <a href="https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/detroit/2024/12/04/detroit-mayor-mike-duggan-running-michigan-governor-independent/76234462007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. Duggan has been a Democrat for his entire political career but said he is running as an independent because he wants to change &#8220;the current system [that] forces people to choose sides.&#8221;
“I&#8217;m not running to be the Democrats&#8217; governor or the Republicans&#8217; governor. I&#8217;m running to be your governor,” Duggan said. “The political fighting and the nonsense that once held back Detroit is too often what we’re seeing across Michigan today. The current system forces people to choose sides — not find solutions. It’s time to change that. I intend to bring together Democrats, Republicans and Independents — and our young people, far too many of whom have given up on our political system — together to move Michigan forward.”
Whitmer, who easily won a second term in 2022, is a rising national figure in the Democratic Party and is being floated as a potential candidate for president in 2028.
Duggan has overseen a city that has gone through a decades-long spell of violence and decline. Earlier this year, the city <a href="https://detroitmi.gov/opportunities/detroit-tackling-crime-across-city" target="_blank" rel="noopener">boasted</a> of recording the lowest homicide rate since 1962, with 252 homicides reported in 2023. According to the city, non-fatal shootings and carjackings also decreased in 2023.
Despite these recent drops in violent crime, however, Detroit remains one of the most dangerous places to live in the U.S. According to 2022 data, Detroit ranked <a href="https://www.statista.com/statistics/217685/most-dangerous-cities-in-north-america-by-crime-rate/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">second</a>, only behind Memphis, for the highest violent crime rate in the nation at 2,027.9 violent crimes per 100,000 people.
Duggan touted his record of leading Detroit as the city came out of bankruptcy in 2014.

A federal judge paused the Justice Department’s case against seven pro-life Christians <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-89-year-old-woman-convicted-faces-over-a-decade-in-prison-for-peaceful-pro-life-protest" target="_blank" rel="noopener">awaiting sentencing</a> over a peaceful protest at an abortion facility in Michigan as President Joe Biden prepares to leave office. 
Judge Matthew Leitman ordered Tuesday that the FACE Act and felony conspiracy case against the pro-life activists be paused until after President-elect Donald Trump takes office. The pro-lifers, including 89-year-old communist concentration camp survivor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/god-wins-in-the-end-89-year-old-pro-life-activist-speaks-out-ahead-of-high-stakes-trial" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Eva Edl</a>, face up to 10 years for their conviction on conspiracy charges in September. 
Sentencing had not yet been scheduled due to several pending motions from the defense to dismiss the convictions that Leitman has not yet ruled on. These motions will further be delayed due to the judge&#8217;s latest order. 
“As further discussed on the record, the Court will conduct another status conference during the week of March 24, 2025, to receive a report from the Government trial team as to whether there has been any change in the Government’s position with respect to the continuation of this case and/or with respect to the positions expected to be advanced by the Defendants in their post-trial motions,” Leitman, an Obama appointee, wrote in a court order viewed by The Daily Wire. 
Leitman’s order comes as there is anticipation that President-elect Donald Trump may quickly move to pardon the pro-lifers who have been imprisoned under Biden. Back in June, Trump promised to review the cases of “every political prisoner,” including people imprisoned over the FACE Act. 
The judge said that he would schedule an earlier conference on the case if the Justice Department was notified earlier of changes in handling the case. 
Alongside Edl, those facing sentencing are Chester Gallagher, Heather Idoni, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/pro-life-father-facing-11-years-in-prison-says-biden-doj-is-targeting-conservative-christians">Joel Curry</a>, Justin Phillips, Cal Zastrow, and his daughter Eva Zastrow. They were found to have violated the FACE Act and conspiracy against rights over a peaceful protest at the Northland Family Planning Clinic. 
Leitman’s order followed a status conference on the case on Monday in Detroit. On Wednesday, he ordered lawyers for the defendants to appear for the status hearing on March 25. 
Steve Crampton, a lawyer from the Thomas More Society involved with the case, told The Daily Wire that Leitman decided to stay the proceedings during a status conference on Monday “in light of the election results and the likelihood that a new Department of Justice would alter its policies concerning prosecution of these FACE cases and in particular the use of the Conspiracy Against Rights statute against these defendants.”

Crampton told The Daily Wire that Leitman was concerned it would be a waste of taxpayer money to keep paying court appointed attorneys because the “motions that may become moot depending on the new DOJ policies.” Crampton added that he told the judge that he and others were working on preparing formal petitions for pardons for the activists, as Trump has previously indicated he would look into doing if elected. 
“I think the judge was correct in his thinking about the DOJ perhaps reversing course here and ordering a stay of the proceedings,” Crampton said. “There is a new sheriff in town, and these prosecutions were always more about the politics of protecting the abortion industry than they were about serious violations of the law.”
Multiple pro-lifers across the country are currently incarcerated on FACE Act-related charges brought by Biden’s Justice Department. 
During a Faith and Freedom Coalition conference in June, Trump talked about taking action on the first day of his term to help 75-year-old Paulette Harlow, who is serving a two-year prison sentence for the FACE Act.
“Paulette is one of many peaceful pro-lifers who Joe Biden has rounded up, sometimes with SWAT teams, and thrown them in jail,” Trump <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/defend-our-country-imprisoned-pro-life-activists-urge-americans-to-vote-against-kamala" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. “Many people are in jail over this. … We’re going to get that taken care of immediately — [on the] first day.”
He added that he will “rapidly review the cases of every political prisoner who’s unjustly victimized by the Biden regime, including Paulette, so we can get them out of the gulags and back to their families where they belong.&#8221;

The Republican National Committee sued <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/detroit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Detroit</a> on Tuesday, accusing city election officials of violating <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/michigan" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Michigan</a> law by deleting surveillance footage of an absentee ballot drop box.
Michigan resident Jonathan Koch, whose request for footage monitoring a ballot drop box in the city was denied by officials last month, filed the <a href="https://prod-static.gop.com/media/documents/2024.10.15_Verified_Complaint_RNC-Detroit_as_filed31302801.1_1729087199.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suit</a> alongside the RNC. Koch and the RNC allege that Detroit’s Department of Elections violated Michigan Freedom of Information Act laws by getting rid of the footage.
The suit argues that Detroit got rid of the requested footage even as there was an active request out for it that was filed before state law allows the footage to be purged.
“Deleting drop box surveillance footage while there is a pending FOIA request for it is an assault on transparency,” said RNC chair Michael Whatley. “This breach of trust is exactly what reduces confidence in our elections. We will hold Detroit accountable, as this secrecy has no place in a fair and secure election — Michiganders deserve far better.”
On August 20, Koch requested footage monitoring a drop box at Wayne County Community College from August 7 and August 8 during Michigan’s primary election. By September 16, Koch was informed by Detroit election officials that they no longer had the footage because they don’t keep footage after 30 days.
In the denial letter from the city of Detroit, Koch was told by an official that he “was informed that video is no longer available after 30 days and is recorded over.”
However, state law mandated that the footage be kept until September 6, which was well after Koch filed his request on August 20. The request also asked for all records on construction and installation of the drop box.

The RNC argued that Detroit had a “clear legal duty to retain video surveillance of absent vote ballot drop boxes after receiving a timely FOIA request for such public records.”
&#8220;Specifically, the response indicated that the video surveillance records were recorded over after thirty (30) days, despite Koch’s request having been received fourteen (14) days after the record was created and sixteen (16) days before the record could be deleted,” the suit added.
For resolution, the RNC asked for a judge to order Detroit to adhere to its footage retention policies going forward and declare that the city had violated Michigan public records law.

Former President Donald Trump announced in Detroit on Thursday that if he wins the election, he will make car loan interest &#8220;fully&#8221; tax-deductible, adding the policy to his plans for other major <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-unveils-plan-to-end-all-taxes-on-overtime-work" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tax cuts</a>.
During a speech at the Detroit Economic Club, Trump said the tax deduction on car payments would &#8220;revolutionize&#8221; the car industry and “stimulate massive domestic auto production.&#8221; The former president added that the policy would &#8220;make car ownership dramatically more affordable for millions and millions of working American families.&#8221;

In his speech, Trump also reiterated his promise to impose tariffs on car companies that manufacture vehicles outside of the U.S., a policy he says would bring jobs back to places like Detroit and Flint, Michigan.
“I want German car companies to become American car companies. I want them to build plants in America. Otherwise, I’d rather not have their cars here,” Trump said.
At another point of his speech, Trump warned that if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the election, the U.S. &#8220;will end up being like Detroit.&#8221;
&#8220;I don&#8217;t think anything that we&#8217;re talking about today is high on her list,&#8221; Trump said. &#8220;The whole country is going to be like, you want to know the truth? It&#8217;ll be like Detroit. Our whole country will end up being like Detroit if she&#8217;s your president. You&#8217;re going to have a mess on your hands.&#8221;

In his multiple campaign stops in Michigan, an important battleground state in the 2024 election, the former president has focused on the car industry. While speaking to Michigan voters last month, Trump <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-only-consequential-presidents-get-shot-at" target="_blank" rel="noopener">promised</a> that his administration would put a 200% tariff on vehicles manufactured outside of the U.S.
“They think they’re going to make their cars there and they’re going to sell them across our line and we’re going to take them and we’re not going to charge them tax. We’re going to charge them. I’m telling you right now, we’re putting a 200% tariff on them, which means they’re unsellable,” he said.
Jobs in Michigan&#8217;s auto plants, car parts factories, and corporate offices of major car companies have dropped by 35% since 1990, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, CNN <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/27/business/auto-jobs-michigan-economy-primary/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> earlier this year. Those job losses in Michigan are due, in part, to the automation of factories, but also due to companies moving their manufacturing bases to Mexico.

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell recently moved his family to a new Michigan home after his daughter&#8217;s classmate reportedly shared a social media post that revealed their address following the Lions&#8217; playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers in January.
Police reports obtained by <a href="https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2024/09/23/dan-campbell-security-concerns-escalated-after-playoff-loss-to-49ers/75351868007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Detroit News</a> show that the Campbell family had unwanted visitors come to their property beginning on New Year&#8217;s Eve 2023. The security concerns at the coach&#8217;s home intensified after Campbell was criticized for his play-calling in the Lions&#8217; NFC championship game loss on January 28.
After the Lions blew a 17-point lead and fell to the 49ers, a classmate of Campbell&#8217;s daughter shared a post on Snapchat that called the Lions coach a &#8220;dumb f***&#8221; and revealed the address of the Campbell family home in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Some people showed up at the home at around 11:00 p.m. and &#8220;scared&#8221; Campbell&#8217;s daughter, who was at the home with her boyfriend, according to the police report.
&#8220;Vehicles and people did show up outside their residence but did not necessarily enter the property,&#8221; an investigator wrote in a report. &#8220;The boyfriend went outside in his vehicle and flashed his headlights at anyone approaching causing these people to turn off and leave.&#8221;
&#8220;The Campbells were nervous for the safety of their daughter and instructed her to leave the home with her boyfriend for the evening,&#8221; the report added. &#8220;I assured the Campbells that we would send a patrol unit to the home and extra-patrol it for the evening.&#8221;
The coach listed the 7,800-square-foot home for $4.5 million last week, Crain&#8217;s Detroit Business <a href="https://www.crainsdetroit.com/real-estate/lions-coach-dan-campbell-selling-home-amid-security-concerns" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. Campbell and his wife Holly said they &#8220;loved&#8221; the house.

Campbell&#8217;s daughter and the male classmate suspected of posting the family&#8217;s address attend an &#8220;exclusive private school,&#8221; according to The Detroit News. Investigators contacted a security official at the school to discuss the Snapchat post. The classmate&#8217;s mother told investigators that her son &#8220;re-posted&#8221; the Campbells&#8217; address and &#8220;the post was only up for 3 minutes.&#8221;
&#8220;[H]e had 30 views on the post, believed it was a fake address, and quickly removed it after he thought about it,&#8221; the mother added, according to the police report. The mother argued that the &#8220;address is publicly out there online and that her son did not contribute to anyone showing up.&#8221;
Investigators also questioned the male classmate who allegedly said he &#8220;found humor in the [Snapchat] post.&#8221;
Campbell was widely criticized after the Lions blew their lead against the 49ers with a chance to clinch the franchise&#8217;s first Super Bowl appearance. The coach opted to send the offense out on two critical 4th downs when the team was in field goal range. After leading 24-7 at halftime, the Lions lost 31-34.
Campbell was asked by a reporter last week about the recent security concerns at his home, but he declined to go into any details, saying, &#8220;No disrespect, man, I don&#8217;t even want to go there with any of it. It&#8217;s all good. Man, I&#8217;ve got a job to do. My primary job here is to coach this team and have them prepared every week. I&#8217;ve got to do my job, and that&#8217;s the sole focus.&#8221;

Gabbard first endorsed Trump last month when President Joe Biden was the presumed Democratic nominee for president. Biden dropped out of the race days later over a feeble performance he delivered during the first Democratic debate — and after facing backlash from Democratic lawmakers, donors, and media members.

Former president Donald Trump hammered the Biden-Harris administration&#8217;s withdrawal from Afghanistan on the third anniversary of the deaths of 13 U.S. service members killed during the withdrawal operation.
Trump delivered a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZjkn05bmhg">speech</a> in front of the National Guard Association in Detroit on Monday after attending a ceremony for the fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. Trump was joined on stage in Detroit by former Democratic congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who backed Trump&#8217;s bid to return to the White House.
Trump attacked President Joe Biden&#8217;s handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal, especially over the loss of 13 U.S. service members killed in a terrorist attack on Kabul&#8217;s airport, calling it the “most embarrassing day in the history of our country.”
“It gave us Russia going into Ukraine. It gave us the October 7 attack on Israel. It gave us lack of respect, we’re not respected. We were respected very much four years ago. We’re not respected now,” Trump said.
The former president promised accountability over the debacle should he return to the White House.
“We’ll get the resignations of every single senior official who touched the Afghanistan calamity to be on my desk at noon on inauguration day,” he pledged.
Gabbard, who served as a Democratic representative of Hawaii in the U.S. House from 2019 to 2021, joined Trump on stage just days after Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. suspended his independent run for president and tossed his support to the former president.
