“Will &amp; Grace” actress Debra Messing is not a fan of the newly elected mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, and her leftist followers are not happy that she’s willing to say so.
The 57-year-old Emmy celeb is catching heat for reposting an image on her Instagram Stories from another account called The Persian Jewess, among others. One of the reposted images showed an edited ballot that listed two candidates, one being identified as &#8220;A Democrat. Just a Democrat,&#8221; and the other as &#8220;An actual communist jihadist. A literal Karl Marx-quoting, America-hating jihadist.&#8221;

Another graphic she reposted said, “A vote for Sliwa is a vote for Mamdani is a vote for New-York-Stan.”
Other posts called out Mamdani’s extremist rhetoric, including his frequent posts about dismantling and defunding the police. 
Messing is an unapologetic leftist Democrat, but she is also Jewish and pro-Israel.
The actress posted on Instagram last week that she voted early for Cuomo because “we need someone with experience.” 
“Our city is too massive, complex, and consequential to have someone 33 years old who has never held a job, and missed 80% of his votes as Councilman,” she <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DQPmQnCk-sK/?hl=en">shared</a> with her social media followers at the time. 
Messing said she was counting on Cuomo “to bring our city back to what it should be—safe, the thriving financial center of the world, more low cost housing, more police to make our streets and subways safe for everyone. A social worker cannot help someone who is stabbed in the subway.”
The actress also shared posts from conservative outlets to her stories on Tuesday. Despite being anti-Trump, she was also sharing posts featuring the president’s endorsement of Cuomo, including one where Trump wrote, “Any Jewish person that votes for Zohran Mamdani, a proven and self professed JEW HATER, is a stupid person!!!”

Actress <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/debra-messing" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Debra Messing</a> recalled filming an emotional scene on the hit <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/nbc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NBC</a> sitcom “Will &amp; Grace,” which she said caused the audience to fall “silent.” 
The NBC <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/television">comedy</a>, which first aired in 1998, was known for getting big laughs most of the time. But Messing described one of the episodes in which the characters got serious, per <a href="https://people.com/debra-messing-will-and-grace-most-painful-scene-exclusive-7511431" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a>. 
“I think the big fight that Will and Grace got into during the first run. I think that was surprisingly painful to shoot and I think that it really surprised the audience,” the 54-year-old actress said when asked about the most difficult scene to film during the premiere event for the new “Just Jack &amp; Will” podcast. 
Messing was referring to a time during season 8 when her character Grace got into a huge fight with her best friend Will (Eric McCormack). 
“And they were dead quiet, which we had never experienced in all the years and so we knew that something important was happening,” Messing said of the live studio audience&#8217;s reaction to that scene. “So, that’s a very clear memory for me.” 
“I felt grateful that the writers gave us the opportunity to do something that had that much gravitas to it, you know?” she said of the experience. “It’s a sitcom and normally you don’t see that. And so I was just … I was grateful.”
Messing was promoting the podcast, which consists of actor Sean Hayes and McCormack rewatching the sitcom and commenting on it along with special guests along the way. “Will &amp; Grace” earned 18 Primetime Emmy Awards and 83 nominations. It focused on Will, a gay lawyer, and Grace, a Jewish interior designer, living together as roommates in New York City.

During a conference call with dozens of celebrity and activist Democrat supporters, the White House reportedly called on Hollywood to help out following the recent decision by the United States Supreme Court that overturns the landmark 1973 ruling as a result of the decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women&#8217;s Health Organization, <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2022/07/05/politics/democrats-frustrated-biden-lack-of-urgency-supreme-court-setbacks/index.html">CNN</a> reported in a piece published Tuesday. The ruling recognizes that there is no constitutional right to an abortion, and returns the issue to the states to pass abortion legislation, as <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/victory-pro-life-leaders-react-to-overturn-of-roe-v-wade">The Daily Wire</a> previously reported.
The outlet claimed that during the call, which was also co-organized by the advocacy group Build Back Better Together, Messing was &#8220;fed up&#8221; and said &#8220;she&#8217;d gotten Joe Biden elected.&#8221; The &#8220;Along Came Polly&#8221; star also reportedly wanted to know why she was &#8220;being asked to do anything at all.&#8221;
The piece also claimed the &#8220;Will and Grace&#8221; star reportedly yelled during the call that &#8220;there didn&#8217;t even seem a point to voting,&#8221; along with other stars who reportedly &#8220;wondered why the call was happening.&#8221;

According to three people on the call, the mood was &#8220;fatalistic,&#8221; the outlet noted.
Those celebrities on the call later reportedly got a follow-up email with talking points and instructions about how they could use clips from Biden&#8217;s speech about the SCOTUS decision to share on TikTok, the piece noted.
Hollywood has been having an utter meltdown over the decision by SCOTUS, and Messing&#8217;s reported frustrations about it are just the latest, as <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/amy-schumer-chelsea-handler-and-more-stars-react-to-overturn-of-roe-v-wade">The Daily Wire</a> previously reported.
Leftist filmmaker Michael Moore was one such voice who reacted to the news using language typically reserved for tragic days in American history, like Pearl Harbor.

Ten years ago, 2006, I caught a case with my oldest daughter’s mama. Yes, my baby mama. She’s from Oakland. I was bustin’ moves in Nevada. I met the b****, she said she wanna get down. So I’m pimpin’ on the b****. I take her to Nevada, ya know what I’m sayin’. I get cracked, ya know what I’m sayin’. I didn’t know the b**** was 16 at the time. She gave a statement to the police at the time, that, yeah, she was ho’ing, that I was pimpin’, and, uh, that she was 16, that I didn’t know that.”

Captioning a screenshot of Sinema&#8217;s Twitter &#8220;like,&#8221; Messing tagged the senator and wrote, &#8220;is there something you&#8217;d like to tell the Democratic Party?&#8221;
The actress also tagged an official account for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), seemingly to highlight Sinema&#8217;s &#8220;naughty&#8221; behavior to Democratic leaders.

Kyrsten Sinema, the Arizona Democrat, turned down the minimum wage hike with that oh-so-cute thumbs-down,&#8221; the piece complained. &#8220;Now she’s threatening to derail the whole Democratic agenda, insisting on archaic Senate rules that give Mitch McConnell and the Republicans outsized power.&#8221;

Actress Debra Messing has joined the chorus of celebrities and commentators demanding a blacklist of Trump&#8217;s inner White House circle, especially his soon-to-be former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
In a tweet on Monday, the &#8220;Will &amp; Grace&#8221; star threatened to boycott any channel or network that grants McEnany a platform, saying she will cease all support for any advertisers associated with them.
“If I ever see [Kayleigh McEnany] on a panel on a news show or hired by a network, I am immediately ceasing to support every single advertiser on that network,” tweeted Messing with the hashtag &#8220;Deplatform Hate.&#8221;

After the election, hardcore leftists quickly advocated that many of Trump&#8217;s close associates be blacklisted entirely; those sentiments only increased after the riot on Capitol Hill.
”You know, I think that Trump, um, tear-gassed peaceful protesters for a photo op. I think the Trump ripped children from their parents. I think that Trump called NFL players sons of bitches I think that—for exercising their First Amendment rights,” said &#8220;The View&#8221; co-host Sunny Hostin way back in November. “I think those people in his administration that not only drafted some of those policies but were complicit in some of those policies shouldn’t be forgotten.”
“People like Kirstjen Nielsen, people like Stephen Miller, people like Kellyanne Conway, people like Vice President Mike Pence who was woefully inadequate of his role as the head of the coronavirus task force and people like Ben Carson and Betsy Devos, I don’t think those people should be able to profit from their experience within the Trump administration,” she continued. “I don’t think they should be forgotten. I don’t think we should look the other way. I think we need to remember because if you don’t remember things then past becomes prologue. I do think people need to be held accountable for their actions and um I don’t think it’s reminiscent of McCarthyism at all.”
In September of last year, Messing supported her “Will &amp; Grace” co-star Eric McCormack when he <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/51255/will-grace-star-refuses-work-trump-supporters-paul-bois">ignited a firestorm</a> on Twitter by publicly stating that he would no longer work with Trump supporters, and asking to be told who would be in attendance at a fundraiser for the president in Beverly Hills.

Over the Fourth of July weekend, actress and left-wing activist Debra Messing bashed musical talent <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kanye-west-praises-trump-hammers-planned-parenthood-likens-covid-vaccine-to-mark-of-the-beast">Kanye West</a> for potentially running for the White House in 2020 and &#8220;taking&#8221; &#8220;black voters&#8221; away from former Vice President Joe Biden.
In a tweet from an account that has since been protected, @TheRickyDavila tweeted to Messing: &#8220;To be clear, Kanye West is a redhat [sic] wearing MAGA Lunatic, so if he&#8217;s wanting to run for the Presidency, it&#8217;s probably a plan between [T]rump and Kanye to strip whatever support they can away from Biden as a last ditch effort. Messing landed herself in hot water last year when she posted support for a sign that said black Trump supporters suffer from &#8220;mental illness.&#8221;

In another response to Messing, Turner posted a series of seven tweets blasting the actress for her comments and warning her to never &#8220;fix your mouth to question my love for my people,&#8221; noting that she has &#8220;been a black woman all my life.&#8221; 

&#8220;Debra, Debra, [Debra Messing], so you go from bad to worse,&#8221; wrote Turner. &#8220;The leader of the Karen coalition strikes again!&#8221;
&#8220;Although it is customary for the Karens to call the manager on Black folks, how dare you attempt to create public conflict between two Black women leaders &#8230; in the public space. Not only is it disrespectful to [Stacey Abrams] and me, it is disrepectful [sic] to our Black foremothers who sacrificed so we could have a voice in the first damn place,&#8221; she wrote.

Recently surfaced evidence also suggests that Reade’s mother called into CNN’s Larry King in the 1990s to complain about a prominent senator with whom her daughter had “problems.”
On Saturday, the Associated Press <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/two-new-sources-claim-tara-reade-told-them-about-aspects-of-joe-biden-allegation">reported</a> that two new people, both of whom wished to remain anonymous, said that Reade spoke of Biden’s behavior prior to her going public.
