In May, U.S. energy officials <a href="https://www.reuters.com/sustainability/climate-energy/ghost-machine-rogue-communication-devices-found-chinese-inverters-2025-05-14/">released</a> bombshell findings about China’s ability to turn out the lights across America. Rogue communications devices were found inside Chinese solar power inverters. In addition, undisclosed cellular radios were found inside Chinese batteries. These Chinese Communist Party sabotage efforts are reminiscent of CCP-tied Huawei’s infiltration of our communications network, which gave Beijing the ability to <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2022/07/23/politics/fbi-investigation-huawei-china-defense-department-communications-nuclear/index.html">disrupt our nuclear arsenal communications</a>.
Beijing seeks the ability to remotely access and destroy the systems upon which Americans depend for everyday life and upon which our military depends to project power across the globe. The U.S. rightly began to remove Huawei technologies from our market <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/news/ghost-machine-rogue-communication-devices-050547906.html?guccounter=1">in 2019</a> because of security risks. Since then, ironically, we’ve allowed China to flood our market with network-connected technologies such as routers, drones, cranes, healthcare devices, cameras, green tech, and more, which collectively constitute a deeper penetration of our vital systems. This trend must be reversed through new laws and better law enforcement to block and remove all Chinese network-connected technologies. 
American tax dollars should not fund technologies that facilitate Chinese espionage and sabotage efforts. At the federal level, Congress should ban federal procurement of Chinese network-connected technologies. Congress should also codify President Trump’s Information and Communications Technology <a href="https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2019/05/17/2019-10538/securing-the-information-and-communications-technology-and-services-supply-chain">executive order</a> from 2019 and fund ICT programs to block CCP tech. During March 2025 testimony, former Biden Administration official Dr. Rush Doshi <a href="https://www.youtube.com/live/oS_aZXE6W0k">argued</a> that codifying Trump’s order “would let us prohibit certain [Chinese] goods,” especially power converters and network-connected technologies, “from being in the U.S. market.”
States must excise CCP network-connected technologies from their critical infrastructure and government systems. For example, Texas’ 2021 <a href="https://www.jw.com/news/insights-texas-lone-star-infrastructure-protection-act/">Lone Star Infrastructure Protection Act (LIPA)</a> forbids Texas businesses and government from contracting with China, Russia, North Korea and Iran on critical infrastructure, especially if foreign parties would gain remote access or control of the infrastructure. A 2023 Nebraska law <a href="https://flood.house.gov/media/press-releases/congressman-flood-applauds-bipartisan-work-ban-state-funds-huawei-equipment">prohibits</a> the state from providing public funds to telecommunications providers that have not yet removed Huawei 5G hardware from their cell towers. Utah passed a 2024 law to end procurement of Chinese technologies such as computers and routers. All states should adopt these measures.
Furthermore, the U.S. must enforce the rule-of-law. The Chinese Communist Party has made tremendous gains at the expense of the U.S. in part because the U.S. and its allies have failed to enforce their own laws upon malicious CCP agents and entities. At a fundamental level, the two legal systems are incompatible because <a href="https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/briefings-statements/statement-national-security-advisor-robert-c-obrien-011521-2/">China’s laws require businesses to engage in espionage for the party-state</a>, while America’s laws require data privacy. America must pivot and crush CCP lawlessness. Consumer fraud and data privacy laws must be tightened, and robust enforcement actions must be taken by both federal agencies and state attorneys general. 
In March 2025, the FCC’s Council on National Security <a href="https://www.cybersecuritydive.com/news/fcc-investigating-china-companies-national-security/743316/">opened an investigation</a> into several telecommunications companies, including Huawei, for engaging in unfair, deceptive, and fraudulent business practices such as selling banned equipment in the United States. The FCC can go further by revoking telecom licenses from corrupt entities. Meanwhile, other federal agencies must get in the fight.
State AGs must enforce the law against Chinese manufacturers that embed hidden backdoors in products, and American companies that “white-label” such products must also be held accountable. For example, according to the federal <a href="https://www.cisa.gov/resources-tools/resources/contec-cms8000-contains-backdoor">Cybersecurity &amp; Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)</a> the Chinese company Contec sells healthcare monitors with embedded backdoors that provide Beijing with access to patient data along with the ability to manipulate readings of a patient’s vitals. AGs should investigate Contec for potential violations of consumer and medical data protections. As a recent FDA Safety Communication states, <a href="https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/safety-communications/cybersecurity-vulnerabilities-certain-patient-monitors-contec-and-epsimed-fda-safety-communication">Florida-based Epsimed</a>, which sells Contec products in the U.S., should also be investigated.
These security concerns are amplified by ethical concerns. Chinese green energy technologies are not only riddled with backdoors, they often <a href="http://www.cecc.gov/events/hearings/from-cobalt-to-cars-how-china-exploits-child-and-forced-labor-in-the-congo">rely on slave labor</a>. Too many environmental activists have been hoodwinked into promoting cheap CCP hardware to “save the planet,” all while supporting slave labor and compromising our energy grid.
The United States <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/news/ghost-machine-rogue-communication-devices-050547906.html?guccounter=1">2019 actions against Huawei</a> were a strong step, but since then we’ve lost ground. Rapid and concerted action is needed to protect our way of life against Chinese Communist Party sabotage, and to build an economic system based upon rule-of-law rather than communist infiltration and subversion.

Earlier this month, we celebrated the 80th anniversary of V-E Day, “Victory in Europe,” which marked the end of the European Theater’s part in the Second World War. It is a date certainly worth commemorating as it closed one of the darkest chapters in European history, which was the rise and fall of Hitler’s Third Reich.
For the countries in what today we call Western Europe that languished for years under the jackboot of Nazi oppression — France, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Greece — the Allied victory truly represented liberation.

But there was another side to V-E Day that seems to get glossed over. And that is the less happy fate of the Eastern European nations who were not liberated by the Anglo-Americans rolling in from the west, but rather the Red Army coming in from the east. And for those nations — Poland, Hungary, then-Czechoslovakia, the Baltic states — V-E Day merely meant trading one brutal oppressor for another. Indeed, as the Allies were closing in from both sides, the dark joke in Germany was “Optimists are learning English, pessimists are learning Russian.”
We have been conditioned for over 80 years to viscerally recoil at the very mention of the Führer’s name. Just say “Hitler” and the mind conjures up images of the Holocaust and mass murder of millions of innocents carried out by robotic, goose-stepping stormtroopers wearing their signature coal scuttle helmets.
Yet, when we utter the name “Stalin,” no such dark imagery materializes in the collective mind. And yet, in terms of pure numbers, it can be argued that the Soviet “Man of Steel” had more blood on his hands than even Hitler. Why the indifferent reaction?
It could perhaps be attributed to a curious media/academic tendency of apologetics towards communism. As polls consistently show, both of these institutions lean very much to the left. And Stalinism is the ultimate expression of their collective leftist ideology come to fruition in all its destructive inevitability. During the 1930s, for example, dispatches from Moscow-based New York Times correspondent Walter Duranty were shamefully obsequious towards Stalin, offering up for his readers images of a prosperous, happy communist USSR workers’ paradise.
No matter that the Soviet dictator was coldly stripping Ukraine of food and inducing a famine in 1932-1933 (called the “Holodomor”) during which anywhere from 3.5 to 5 million Ukrainians died of starvation — atrocities Duranty labeled as a “big scare” and “exaggeration.”
Then there was Stalin’s 1929-1933 genocide against the Kulaks (wealthy peasants who resisted his policies) to facilitate the expropriation of farmland. In one directive, the Soviet leader declared, “We must smash the Kulaks, liquidate them as a class.” Millions died.
And what of the estimated 700,000 to 6 million who died in Stalin’s Gulag, the far-flung network of concentration camps where he sent his enemies, whom the hyper-paranoid dictator saw all around him. (Figures vary widely; the latter number comes from dissident Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, who was imprisoned for eight years.)
Starting in 1936, Stalin wiped out his political and military adversaries in a series of show trials called “The Great Purge.” Stalin’s biographer Oleg V. Khlevniuk estimates that 1.6 million were arrested, with 700,000 shot; no one knows how many died of torture.

During the Second World War on the Eastern Front, Stalin was so profligate with the lives of his people that by the time the red banner of the USSR was flying over the Reichstag in the conquered Berlin, some 27 million Soviets lay dead. Many as a result of combat and German atrocities, of course, but also due to Stalin’s unimaginative strategies that callously offered up both his soldiers and civilians before the guns of the Wehrmacht as fodder.
Whereas Hitler’s policies were driven by twisted racial hatred, delusions of grandeur, a sense of grievance on behalf of a nation he felt was ill-treated at Versailles, and, by the end, drug-addled bona fide madness, Stalin in some ways is even more disturbing as there was a cold, calculating, and ruthless nature to his machinations.
Stalin will also go down as one of the most treacherous characters in history. It should be remembered that until Hitler turned on him and attacked Russia in June 1941, Stalin and the German dictator were allies. Hitler only felt secure enough to invade Poland and trigger the Second World War because Berlin and Moscow had just entered into a non-aggression pact the month before. In fact, people often forget that in September 1939, Poland was not just invaded by the Wehrmacht but also by the Red Army. After which, Stalin’s NKVD promptly rounded up 22,000 members of Poland’s military and intelligentsia, marched them to the Katyn Forest, and shot them all dead.

Says historian Victor Davis Hanson: “Of the six major belligerents of World War II, on the Axis side, Italy, Japan, and Germany, and the United States, Russia, and Britain, Stalin made a deal with every one of them at one time or another, and he honored the ones with the Axis better than he did us.”
But, unlike Hitler, Stalin’s image during the war was softened by the Roosevelt administration and pliant media due to the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union. FDR, especially, was hopelessly naïve about the duplicitous nature of the man whose military he was now supplying through Lend-Lease. As far as he saw it, the Russians were now our allies after all. And, frankly, we needed the Red Army to kill as many Germans as possible before we invaded France. The mass murderer of Moscow was thus re-christened “Uncle Joe” Stalin. And as it was his Red Army more than any other that destroyed the Wehrmacht, what he did to his own people and those in Eastern Europe were swept under the rug until the Cold War commenced in the late 1940s. After all, as the saying goes, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.”

80 years after the war in Europe ended, modern Germany is still horrified by, and ashamed of, their Nazi past. But to this day, even in a post-Cold War Russia in which information regarding the horrific crimes carried out by the Bolsheviks is now widely accessible, Stalin is revered by the Russian people. A 2021 poll by the Levada Center found that 70% of Russians held a mostly or very favorable view of Stalin.
And that same lack of revulsion over Stalin’s decades-long reign of terror carries over into the West today as a misguided affinity for Marxism slithers its insidious way through the halls of so-called higher education. A poll by the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation found that millennials, particularly younger ones, displayed a dreadful ignorance of communism and even support for it. Almost half of Americans between the ages of 16 and 20 “said they would vote for a socialist, while 21% would go so far as to back a Communist.” Even more shocking was that a “third of millennials say they believe more people were killed under George W. Bush than Joseph Stalin.” This is criminal negligence on the part of academia — and dangerous.
I have a shirt that reads “Communism killed 100 million people and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.” Though gallows humor, the message is also a searing indictment of a left-leaning academic and media establishment that are utterly dismissive of the crimes perpetrated by the founding fathers of their own defunct and cruel ideologies. The verdict of history should have condemned Soviet communism to the ashbin of history decades ago. But a fatal attraction for this defunct ideology that invariably leads to mass murder is alive and well in the West today. This is a tragedy — and dangerous.

David Horowitz died on Tuesday at the age of 86.
I knew David really, really well. I used to work at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
Truth Revolt, which was a precursor to The Daily Wire, began at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
I knew David for more than a decade before that. He was truly a formative person in the modern conservative movement, a person who spoke the truth no matter the cost.
David started off as a radical communist. He wrote a book in 1996 titled “<a href="https://www.amazon.com/Radical-Son-Generational-David-Horowitz/dp/0684840057?ref_=ast_author_dp&amp;th=1&amp;psc=1#" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Radical Son: A Generational Odyssey</a>.” In it, he talks about how his parents were communists and that he was a “Red Diaper Baby.”
He began his career as a far-Left writer for Ramparts magazine. He turned to the Right when his friend was allegedly killed by the Black Panthers. Then, basically all of his old friends disowned him and decided he was “untouchable.”
David then turned into one of the most effective conservative activists of his generation. He used to call the David Horowitz Freedom Center a “battle tank” rather than a think tank. Pretty much everybody who&#8217;s anybody in modern conservatism had some initial connection with David Horowitz. I met Charlie Kirk, for example, at a David Horowitz Freedom Center event back when Charlie was maybe 18- or 19- years old and was first getting started with TPUSA.
And that remains true for a huge number of people who got their start in the conservative movement in the 1990s and 2000s. His books are worth reading. He was really an amazing writer, a terrific speaker, and a strong voice.

Radical Student: I don&#8217;t think you understood what I meant by that. I meant if I say something, I&#8217;m sure that I will be arrested for reasons of Homeland Security. So if you could please just answer my question.
Horowitz: If you condemn Hamas, Homeland Security will arrest you?
Radical Student: If I support Hamas — because your question forces me to condemn Hamas — if I support Hamas, I look really bad.
Horowitz: Well, if you don&#8217;t condemn Hamas, obviously you support it. Case closed. I&#8217;ve had this experience at UC Santa Barbara, where there were 50 members of the Muslim Students Association sitting right in the rows there. And throughout my hour talk, I kept asking them, “Will you condemn Hezbollah and Hamas?” And none of them would. And then when the question period came, the president of the Muslim Students Association was the first person to ask questions. I said, “You know, before you start, will you condemn Hezbollah?” And he said, “Well, that question is too complicated for a yes or no answer.” So I said, “Okay, I&#8217;ll put it to you this way. I&#8217;m a Jew. The head of Hezbollah has said that he hopes that we will gather in Israel so he doesn&#8217;t have to hunt us down globally — for it or against it?
Radical Student: For it.
Horowitz: Thank you. Thank you for coming and showing everybody what&#8217;s here.</blockquote>
David was extremely clear in his approach to the world. He understood the morality of many of our foreign adversaries. He was an advocate for Americanism and American strength and security. And he will very much be missed.

As we all know, in last November’s presidential election, Donald Trump defeated what’s-her-name and left Democrats trailing Republicans in popularity by a margin of approximately everybody to nothing. Now, Democrats are trying to find a new way forward that does not involve finding a new way forward. Democrat National Committee Chairman Mao Tse Muhammed Jihad Vladimir Muhammed Allahu Akbar Stalin Jihad Mohammed recently addressed the subject in a speech entitled “How Can They Hate Us When We’re So Hep?” The Speech was delivered to the annual meeting of the Future Illegal Alien Terrorists Who Hate America of America, or the FIATWHA – and then another A. Mr. Jihad, who goes by the name of Miss Jihad and uses the pronouns He and Be, as in the sentence “He be giving me the heebee geebees,” told the gathering, “It’s time to face up to the truth. We Democrats instigated fatal riots and then pretended they weren’t happening, we opened our borders to criminals and terrorists and pretended that wasn’t happening, we sexually mutilated children in the name of a perverted fantasy, we censored anyone who disagreed with us and tried to put our political opponents in jail, and we acted with such weakness and incompetence overseas that it inspired our enemies to begin wars in both Europe and the Middle East. Now we must ask ourselves, since we’re doing everything perfectly according to plan, why the hell doesn’t the public love us like they should?”
In an attempt to refresh the party’s image, the Democrats have turned to 83-year-old Senator Bernie Sanders, a man who lived through the Communist gulags of Russia, the Communist enslavement of Eastern Europe, the Communist slaughter in China, and the Communist genocide in Cambodia without once changing his opinion that Communism works great, especially in Norway, where they don’t have it. Sanders has been declared the new face of the Democrat party and has been teamed up with Alexandria Ocasio Cortez who has been declared the new rack of the Democrat party. Asked about this arrangement, Sheldon Whitehouse, the Junior Senator from the State of Unbelievable Corruption, said “With Bernie Sanders as our new face and AOC as our new rack we will have a hideous old face with a great rack and that’s a winning combination because when you have a great rack, no one looks at your face.”

Sanders and AOC have been traveling the country staging what they call the “Rally in Favor of a Failed Economic System that has led to Enslavement and Mass Murder Wherever it’s Been Tried but For Some Reason we still Think Is Great.”
The rallies generally open with a ringing speech from Sanders who tells the crowd, “I happen to believe that billionaires should pay their fair share of utterly useless programs that nonetheless convince poor people to vote for us even as their states and cities descend into apocalyptic dysfunction because of those same programs. I happen to believe that socialism has worked really great, especially in Norway. When Sanders finishes his speech, he turns the microphone over to AOC who says, “I’ve come here today to say completely nonsensical things in a loud shrill voice full of make-believe sincerity. All across this country, I see people left behind by capitalism for no other reason than that they don’t work or contribute to society in any way. It isn’t fair. Well, okay, it actually is kind of fair, but it isn’t right. And even if it is right, I think there are enough total wastrels who feel entitled to a portion of the wealth created by other people that we might have enough votes to turn this country around. And hey, my eyes are up here. Why aren’t you looking in my eyes?”
So far the rallies have been filled with thousands of cheering people, most of them Republicans who feel they’ll never lose an election again.

Freedom of speech is under <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/censorship" target="_blank" rel="noopener">attack</a>, not just in authoritarian regimes like Russia, North Korea, or Venezuela, but also in Western nations that once championed it. I know because I’ve lived through it before.
I was born and raised in Venezuela, where opposing the socialist regime came at a high cost. From a young age, I spoke out against tyranny. In a country that does not tolerate dissent, that meant facing real consequences. I was expelled from my university simply for questioning communist propaganda in class. Soon after, I was accused of being a “terrorist” for my political beliefs.
Now, living in the United States, I cherish the ability to speak freely. But that appreciation comes with deep concern. I am now witnessing Western nations — once bastions of liberty — embrace restrictions on speech under the guise of fighting hate and misinformation. What’s even more alarming is that many young people in my own generation champion this threat to free speech.
<h3>Thought Police In Action</h3>
In February, CBS <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/germany-online-hate-speech-prosecution-60-minutes/">aired</a> an interview with German officials who openly admitted that the German government is using its power to criminalize &#8220;hate or toxic speech.&#8221; When journalist Sharyn Alfonsi asked whether publishing an insult or a lie was a crime, the German prosecutors <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/cbs-claims-free-speech-caused-the-holocaust" target="_blank" rel="noopener">answered</a> without hesitation, &#8220;Yes.&#8221; In Germany, law enforcement raids homes, fines citizens, and even imprisons those whose speech is deemed offensive, controversial, or false.
Sadly, Germany is not the only country to adopt this Orwellian totalitarianism. In the United Kingdom, a nation with a rich history of constitutionalism, common law, and freedom, people are now being <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cev9nxnygzpo">investigated</a> for tweets, and others are being fined or imprisoned for posting memes. Nations that should represent the best of civility and debate are sailing the seas of totalitarianism, where the state dictates what can and cannot be said.
Many Americans might dismiss this as a European problem, convinced such extreme measures could never take hold in the U.S. Nevertheless, the same mindset is creeping into American universities, where ideological obedience is enforced at the expense of free and open debate.
<h3>American Students Are Turning Against Free Speech</h3>
A <a href="https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/college.pulse/viz/2024CollegeFreeSpeechRankings/2024CollegeFreeSpeechRankings?publish=yes" target="_blank" rel="noopener">survey</a> conducted by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (<a href="https://www.thefire.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FIRE</a>) revealed that most students would reject speakers with different views on some of the most important issues in our society. For instance, only 29% of students would allow a speaker who believes that transgender people have a mental disorder to speak on campus, and just 43% would accept an advocate for the abolition of abortion. In addition, only 37% of students believe it is never acceptable to stop a speaker, and 27% believe that violence may rarely, sometimes, or always be an acceptable response to prevent a talk on campus.
These statistics are shocking. A significant number of young people believe conservatives do not have the right to speak on campus — and some would even be willing to use force to prevent them from speaking. This mindset is a stark departure from the principles upheld by America&#8217;s Founding Fathers, who believed strongly in protecting free speech for even the most controversial opinions.
<h3>Why Free Speech Matters</h3>
The purpose of free speech is not to protect speech that pleases politicians, the government, or the majority. Free speech exists precisely to protect those who say controversial things or want to challenge power. As Thomas Jefferson <a href="https://oll.libertyfund.org/quotes/jefferson-s-preference-for-newspapers-without-government-over-government-without-newspapers-1787">pointed out</a> in 1787: “Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter.”
The danger of adopting the term “hate speech” is that it is completely subjective and can be used as a political weapon. Who defines what is hateful? The answer is clear: those in power. In Venezuela, the Maduro regime branded my views as hate speech — and I’m sure some American progressives would agree. This is exactly why the right to determine what is true or false, right or wrong, must belong to individuals, not politicians.
We often claim that politicians are corrupt liars who only care about their own self-interest. So, why would we give these people the power to decide what we can say? If we truly value free speech, we must resist censorship in all its forms — no matter who enforces it or what justification they use.

President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> faced backlash on Tuesday after he lifted the designation of state sponsor of terrorism off of communist Cuba.
&#8220;The Government of Cuba has not provided any support for international terrorism during the preceding 6-month period,&#8221; Biden claimed in a certification lifting the designation.
Biden added: &#8220;The Government of Cuba has provided assurances that it will not support acts of international terrorism in the future.&#8221;
Rep. Micheal McCaul (R-TX), Chairman Emeritus of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Homeland Security Committee, responded to the news by saying that Biden&#8217;s move would &#8220;only embolden the country’s brutal communist regime as it seeks to destabilize the globe and undermine democracy.&#8221;
&#8220;Under his watch, the Castro regime has brutally repressed and starved its own people, sent its citizens to help Putin’s army destroy Ukraine, and hosted a Beijing spy base, from which the CCP can surveil Americans and expand its malign influence,&#8221; he added.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) compared Biden to former President Barack Obama, saying that he is finishing out his final days in office &#8220;with rank appeasement of the Cuban regime.&#8221;

During this week’s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/sunday-special">Sunday Special episode</a>, famed author and communism expert Paul Kengor speaks to Daily Wire Emeritus Ben Shapiro about what true communism is and how Marxist theory is embedded into the current Democrat Party in the U.S. 
Kengor, a political science professor at Grove City College, has written more than a dozen books, including “The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis, the Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor” and several other best-sellers about former President Ronald Reagan. Notably, Kengor’s book “The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism” inspired the 2024 film “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/reagans-long-and-winding-road-to-success">Reagan</a>.” 
“I want to call a Marxist a Marxist, only if we&#8217;re dealing with a legitimate Marxist,” Kengor said, before diving into the Marxist “superstructure” of “oppressed versus oppressor.” 
“You find your two groups to pit against each other,” he said. “Classical Marxism, this was based on economics and class. It was a proletariat/bourgeoisie. There, you had your oppressor and oppressed.” 
Current politics from the Left largely focuses on “cultural” Marxism, the author said. “With race-based Marxism, it&#8217;s black versus white; with gender Marxism, male versus female.” 
“Oftentimes, the people who are doing that, have no idea that they&#8217;re even part of that general Marxist superstructure,” Kengor said. “So if you say to them, ‘You know, that&#8217;s a form of cultural Marxism or race-based Marxism, they&#8217;ll scoff. And maybe they should scoff, because they don&#8217;t even know what they&#8217;re doing.” 
That point brought Kengor to Vice President Kamala Harris. In her case, “she might be coming more from that general superstructure on issues of race, gender, culture,” he said. “But I&#8217;d stay away from saying at a national debate that she&#8217;s a Marxist, unless you can really defend it and explain it.” 
Kengor did add, though, that former President Donald Trump was likely correct when he called Harris’ father a Marxist. 
“I think Trump was right about Kamala’s father,” he said. “Based on his writings, and I&#8217;ve read in some of his journal articles – he was in the economic department at Stanford University – and from what I could tell, he was a Marxist.” 
“I don&#8217;t know if [Harris] even has read Karl Marx,” he said. “She probably is not what we would call a ‘classical Marxist’ – probably hasn&#8217;t read the communist Manifesto.” 
Shapiro made the point that calling Harris a communist “actually waters down what Marxism is, and makes it more palatable for the masses, because people go, ‘Okay, well, if Kamala Harris is a Marxist, that doesn’t seem that bad. I mean, we&#8217;re not talking about the Soviet Union, we&#8217;re not talking about Cuba, we&#8217;re not talking about Venezuela. We&#8217;re talking about a lady who&#8217;s hobnobbing with tech CEOs and wants government interventionism in the economy and more redistribution [of wealth].”
However, later in the show, Shapiro and Kengor discussed how full-scale Communism doesn&#8217;t happen overnight, but in gradual steps. 
“‘All we need is just one more restriction, all we need is one more set of regulations, all we need is just a little more control’ – and it&#8217;s always just a little more control,” Shapiro outlined. 
Kengor said that at the very least, mainstream Democrats are in favor of the ‘administrative state’ and noted of a famous quote from President Reagan in his “<a href="https://www.reaganlibrary.gov/archives/speech/time-choosing-speech#:~:text=For%20three%20decades%2C%20we've,is%20the%20Area%20Redevelopment%20Agency.">Time for Choosing</a>” speech: “The more the plans fail, the more the planners plan.” 
Kengor also gave Shapiro a one-sentence definition of communism, which he said is right from the Communist Manifesto: “The entire communist theory may be summed up in the single sentence, ‘abolition of private property.’ That’s the starting point – it&#8217;s a war on private property.” 
“That goes against the Judeo-Christian foundation, the Old Testament, New Testament,” Kengor said. “Thou shalt not steal – the Ten Commandments; that implies that you have the right to property.”
During the lengthy sit-down, Shapiro and Kengor also discussed Sen. Bernie Sanders, former President Barack Obama, and much more on Reagan.

Famed Author, Professor Paul Kengor Talks Communism And The Current Democrat Party With Ben Shapiro

More than 70 years ago, William F. Buckley Jr. wrote &#8220;<a href="https://www.amazon.com/GOD-MAN-YALE-William-Buckley/dp/B002O059O6/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&amp;qid=&amp;sr=">God and Man at Yale</a>.&#8221; In the book, Buckley provides numerous examples of how collectivism was being taught in economics classes at Yale at the time. While the sheer number of examples often comes across as redundant, they serve Buckley&#8217;s point and overwhelm readers with a sense of urgency. The collegiate educational system was in need of reform or it would produce a generation of improperly educated individuals. Unfortunately, as the voice crying out in the desert, Buckley&#8217;s warning went mostly unheeded. As a result, we have for the last 40-some years lived in an increasingly collectivist society.
The word &#8220;collectivism&#8221; might seem anachronistic, but it is precisely the word Buckley used to describe this form of education. He wrote &#8220;God and Man at Yale&#8221; to bring awareness to educational corruption not just at Yale but, as he correctly assumed, at universities across the country. It is only logical to worry about the intellectual corruption being foisted upon the younger generation by their professors. I doubt as many people were concerned about this in the 1950s as they are today. Buckley foresaw the long-term consequences of what was being taught. Today, we long for a return to how education used to be — before drag queen story hour and teachers telling their kindergarten students about their sex lives. After reading &#8220;God and Man at Yale,&#8221; however, one can very clearly see how education devolved from the top down.
Buckley begins his economics section of the book by stating that the university encourages its students to seek &#8220;cradle-to-grave&#8221; security by teaching it indirectly through its curriculum. The recipient of such collectivist economic doctrine, will naturally try to bring about an environment where community-run production and equal distribution of wealth are the pillars of society, affording that &#8220;cradle-to-grave&#8221; security.

One of the textbooks used by the university was written by Theodore Morgan. Regarding income tax, Morgan says, &#8220;a tax of 42-49 percent on incomes between $20,000 and $100,000, and a tax of 75-99 percent on incomes over $100,000.&#8221; Morgan also thinks that there should be no exemption from capital gains tax. It is important to note that the economics classes Buckley is criticizing are for the most part entry level. It would be different if these were advanced theoretical classes with eight students in attendance. Unfortunately, actual class attendance was in the hundreds per semester.
Buckley continues his examples with another textbook review. This one is titled &#8220;Economic Analysis and Public Policy&#8221; by Bowman and Bach. These two authors were met with much justifiable criticism from Buckley. The authors state:
<blockquote>To set the responsibility for attaining and maintaining full employment on the shoulders of individual consumers or individual businessmen, is absurd.</blockquote>
They then go on to describe four powers that are unique to the government. Bowman and Bach maintain that these powers allow the government to control the economy in ways that private industry cannot. The first of these powers is the power of compulsion. Bowman and Bach believe that the state should use this to their advantage and forcibly redistribute income and restrict production of certain goods and services.
In relation to this, Theodore Morgan says:
<blockquote>high taxes for redistribution&#8230; If necessary, let the government guarantee full employment.</blockquote>
Buckley concisely responds by stating:
<blockquote>it must be realized that unemployment is never a problem if freedom is to be the sacrificial offering; unemployment is unknown to the Soviet Union.</blockquote>
Buckley, later into his writing, cites these and other economists who believe that deficit spending is not only good, but that there should be no limit to it. He cites Paul Samuelson, author of &#8220;Economics, An Introductory Analysis&#8221;:
<blockquote>In short, there is no technical financial reason why a nation fanatically addicted to deficit spending should not pursue such a policy for the rest of our lives, and even beyond.</blockquote>
This same kind of curriculum Buckley describes can be found in universities across America today. When considering the type of economic policies Kamala Harris proposes, one can only imagine the type of economic doctrine her professors preached from the classroom pulpit.
Harris has proposed a $25,000 housing assistance program in addition to taxpayer funded healthcare. These would only create the type of environment that Yale students were taught to pursue in the 1950s. The “cradle-to-grave” society that I mentioned earlier. This would lead to more deficit spending which, as quoted above, Samuelson promotes.
Harris also runs her campaign on the collectivist idea of the redistribution of wealth. Every author cited by Buckley wrote about the wonderful effects the redistribution of wealth can have on a society. Harris aims to achieve this redistribution by using the same method espoused by Theodore Morgan. That tool being higher capital gains tax and higher income tax.
Harris also seeks to ban price gouging which would allow even more government encroachment into private industry, another goal unanimously preached among economic collectivists.
William F. Buckley Jr. published his book &#8220;God and Man at Yale&#8221; in 1951. He wanted to warn society in general of the current curriculum at Yale and more broadly, universities across America. His call went mostly unheard. As a result, we are now faced with the threat of a president who is the poster child for economic collectivism. We must not be so complacent. We must take back the education system. If not, there will be many more presidents as bad or worse than what Kamala Harris might be. 
C.S. Lewis perfectly encapsulated this idea, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”

***WARNING: Although the historical events that took place throughout President Ronald Reagan&#8217;s life are well-documented, this article may contain spoilers with regard to the framing and overall presentation of the film.***
The political Left does not appear to want the American people to see &#8220;Reagan&#8221; — at least, not until after the 2024 presidential election is settled.
Actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/dennis-quaid-says-facebook-is-censoring-the-free-flow-of-ideas-throttling-reagan-movie-promos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dennis Quaid</a>, who portrays the titular president, said weeks ago that Facebook was &#8220;throttling advertising and promotion&#8221; for the film, &#8220;once again censoring the free flow of ideas, deciding what’s best for us to see and hear.&#8221;
It&#8217;s true that the American Left never liked Reagan, which could be reason enough for some to think it worth scuttling a movie about him. But after seeing the film myself — and some of the reactions to it — I realized that it goes much deeper than that. They don&#8217;t just hate Reagan the president: they hate Reagan the man. What&#8217;s more, they hate everyone who values the things Reagan stood for, the things that drove him.
Full disclosure: I was a child of the Reagan years. Born in 1979, I never really saw the havoc wrought by President Jimmy Carter&#8217;s administration. The first political speech I remember was Reagan&#8217;s address to the nation in the wake of the Challenger disaster in 1986. I watched the explosion live from my first-grade classroom and saw my teacher quietly crying at her desk — and later, at home, I watched as the president paid solemn tribute to the lives lost in that tragedy. I was eight years old when, just over a year later, I watched Reagan stand in front of the Brandenburg Gate and forcefully urge Mr. Gorbachev to &#8220;tear down this wall!&#8221;
That was all I knew of American presidents, and so that became what I expected of American presidents: someone who could speak with sincerity and solemnity to a nation in pain, but also someone who showed no fear in the face of adversaries on the world stage. I saw flickers of those same things from President George W. Bush in response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Now, the Left is terrified that people will notice those things are not to be found in Vice President Kamala Harris — and even more terrified that they just might see them in former President Donald Trump. That&#8217;s where the &#8220;Reagan&#8221; movie fits in: whether intentionally or not, it draws parallels that are difficult to ignore and even more difficult to explain away.
<h4>They don&#8217;t want a president staying strong in the face of an assassination attempt top of mind.</h4>
The movie begins with a literal &#8220;bang,&#8221; the March 30, 1981 attempt on Reagan&#8217;s life. We get Reagan&#8217;s quip to his wife, Nancy — &#8220;Honey, I forgot to duck&#8221; — and to his surgeons — &#8220;I hope you&#8217;re all Republicans.&#8221;
&#8220;Today, Mr. President, we are all Republicans,&#8221; was the reply from Dr. Joseph Giordano, a liberal Democrat.
Trump may not have lost half of his blood volume when he was shot in the head on July 13th, as Reagan did in 1981. But Trump&#8217;s immediate response to the shooting, despite Secret Service attempts to keep him under cover, was to stand and show his supporters that he was okay. He raised his fist, shouting, &#8220;Fight! Fight! Fight!&#8221; before agents were able to usher him off the stage.
He later described the moment he knew he&#8217;d been hit, saying that at first, it felt like &#8220;a really big <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-says-bullet-felt-like-mosquito-bite-turning-his-head-saved-his-life-bret-baier" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mosquito</a>.&#8221;
<h4>They don&#8217;t want you seeing value in an unorthodox leader who sometimes ignores his closest advisors.</h4>
Whatever else could be said about Reagan, he had his own negotiating style — whether with foreign leaders, an adversarial Congress, or his own advisors. One of the great examples of this is his Brandenburg Gate speech. His advisors warned him not to unnecessarily provoke Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev, with whom he had been discussing nuclear disarmament, by demanding the destruction of the Berlin Wall.
But Reagan, with just a year left in his second term, did so anyway. Two years later, the wall came down. Two years after that, the Soviet Union was no more.
The comparison here is obvious. Trump is nothing if not unorthodox, and he often does or says things against the wishes of his advisors — sometimes with more success than others. A reminder that unorthodoxy can be both necessary and effective is not something the Left wants voters thinking about when they head to the polls.
<h4>They really don&#8217;t want you to remember what it was like to have a man of faith in the Oval Office.</h4>
In American politics, we are accustomed to politicians who go to church for the optics. The current president, for example, often talks about his deep and abiding Catholic faith — and although we do see him attending Mass, we also see him making the Sign of the Cross at an abortion rally. We see him embracing the Pope, but inviting trans-identifying influencers to attend White House events with children present.
Reagan was different, on a number of levels. He rarely attended church while he was president — not because he didn&#8217;t want to, but because he worried that attending the service would disrupt the service at best, and endanger his fellow worshipers at worst.
Still, Reagan&#8217;s faith was what planted the seed that blossomed into the president&#8217;s lifelong crusade against communism — a crusade that began when in Hollywood and came to fruition in the White House. As a young man, Reagan sat in the congregation and listened intently as a Soviet dissident explained that the first thing the communists took was their churches. For Reagan, who had always seen church as a refuge from a tumultuous home life, that was a bridge too far.
<h4>They really, REALLY don&#8217;t want you thinking about the enduring threat of socialism.</h4>
In the movie, Reagan mentions the summer he spent as a lifeguard on a river, and explains how he learned to &#8220;read the currents,&#8221; both on the surface and beneath it. Sometimes, he said of the people he rescued on that river, &#8220;I knew they were in trouble before they did.&#8221;
That ability translated to politics, giving Reagan an ability to read the currents driving both global politics and culture — and to predict how they might interact.
Trump has been less effective at this so far, but he has made it clear that he sees the threat of socialism — and that he knows it is coming, at least in part, from within the United States. In his 2019 State of the Union, Trump vowed that America would never be socialist.
&#8220;Here, in the United States, we are alarmed by new calls to adopt socialism in our country. America was founded on liberty and independence — not government coercion, domination, and control. We are born free, and we will stay free,&#8221; he said.
In addition, Trump&#8217;s recent efforts to build a coalition — including former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii — may not have brought in a tidal wave of &#8220;Trump Democrats,&#8221; but they have given him a populist boost that Vice President Harris failed to match with a &#8220;bounce&#8221; from the Democratic National Convention.
For these reasons and more, the political Left clearly does not want you to see the parallels. Rolling Stone <a href="https://x.com/RollingStone/status/1832796110198280409" target="_blank" rel="noopener">panned the film</a>, calling it a &#8220;tedious biopic that shows the American political right will always value propaganda over compelling human drama.&#8221; On <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/dennis-quaid-biopic-reagan-outperforms-expectations-earns-high-audience-rating" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rotten Tomatoes,</a> the movie scored a dismal 20% from critics who tend to lean all the way to the Left.
The audience told a different tale, however, giving the film a positive 98%. I&#8217;m with them.

Republican presidential nominee <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a> said this week that he believes it is necessary to &#8220;fight fire with fire&#8221; against the Democratic Party as he warned that the party was &#8220;very evil.&#8221;
Trump made the remarks in an interview that aired Tuesday with podcast host Lex Fridman while discussing how Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris is &#8220;a Marxist.&#8221;
Fridman sought to defend Harris, claiming that &#8220;a lot of people&#8221; don&#8217;t think that she is a communist, to which Trump said that she was &#8220;a Marxist&#8221; and so was her father.
&#8220;There’s a lot of people that know the way government works and they say, well, none of those policies are going to actually come to reality,&#8221; Fridman claimed. &#8220;It’s just being used during the campaign to … Groceries are too expensive. We need them cheaper, so let’s talk about price controls. And that’s never going to come to reality.&#8221;
Trump warned that price controls could absolutely &#8220;come to reality&#8221; as they have been used in the U.S. before.

&#8220;Look, she came out with price control,&#8221; Trump <a href="https://lexfridman.com/donald-trump-transcript" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. &#8220;It’s been tried like 121 different times at different places over the years, and it’s never worked once. It leads to communism, it leads to socialism, it leads to having no food on the shelves, and it leads to tremendous inflation.&#8221;
Trump said that he had no problem calling her a &#8220;communist&#8221; given all of the terms that Democrats label him with, saying that they call him &#8220;a lot worse&#8221; names.
&#8220;It’s interesting though, they’ll call me something that’s terrible and then I’ll hit them back and they’ll say, &#8216;Isn’t it terrible what Trump said?'&#8221; Trump said. &#8220;I believe you have to fight fire with fire. I believe they’re very evil people. These are evil people. We have an enemy from the outside and we have an enemy from within. And in my opinion, the enemy from within are radical Left lunatics. And I think you have to fight back.&#8221;

The entire Kamala Harris campaign relies on you knowing nothing about Kamala Harris.
First rule of Kamala Harris Fight Club: Nobody talks about Kamala Harris. You must never mention her positions. You must never mention what her crap administration has done. You must never mention anything of the sort. And you must certainly never attempt to get to the underlying philosophy that motivates her politics. You must never ever attempt to do that.
That’s because if you dig just a tiny bit, you find that the Democratic Party has gone so radically far to the Left that they are now indistinguishable from the Democratic Socialists of America. That is the reality.
Look at the great “intellectual luminaries” of the Democratic Party. I&#8217;m not talking about the politicians; I&#8217;m talking about the thought leaders.
Among those <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-usual-suspects-claim-gays-ouster-was-coordinated-racist-attack-it-doesnt-go-well">thought leaders</a> is Nikole Hannah-Jones. You may not have heard about Hannah-Jones recently because, after all, she hasn&#8217;t done any actual work for the last five years. She wrote the absolutely fictitious “The 1619 Project” and in 2020 was given a Pulitzer for it. It is trash. The entire 1619 Project is rooted in the idea that every element of American life is built on the foundation of slavery, and thus morally corrupt and evil and must be wiped away.
The 1619 Project falsifies history, as professional historians have <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/1619-project-book-panned-by-historians-hits-amazons-bestseller-list" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pointed out.</a> But this supposed genius was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship in 2017. She is the apotheosis of a “Democratic intellectual.” She gave a <a href="https://www.bmc.org/eqty2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">speech recently</a> in which <a href="https://x.com/6gems/status/1828522478852771875" target="_blank" rel="noopener">she said</a>, “You know what COVID taught me? That we have enough for everybody. Overnight, we printed $6 trillion. We had universal health care. We had universal basic income. COVID proved it&#8217;s possible.”
If that sounds like communism to you, that&#8217;s because it is communism. You may recall that COVID ended with a 40-year high in inflation, a massively spiraling debt problem, and the complete shutdown of the American economy.
You might remember because you were there. But according to Hannah-Jones, that was amazing. That is what America ought to look like. It ought to look like the government paying you to stay home, shutting down your business, and then compensating you for shutting down your business. The government ought to provide everything for free, and it will have no impact.
In June, Hannah-Jones <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dVGFzvOKdQ">said</a>:

Do you remember how when all of a sudden all of America was experiencing what black people experience regularly, high unemployment rates, housing instability, inability to access health care, we printed 3 to $6 trillion overnight, overnight. And all of a sudden you couldn&#8217;t evict people. We had universal housing. Anybody who wanted to go get their shot didn&#8217;t have to show a lick of paper or a dollar. Nothing. You showed up, You got the shot.
We paid people income, universal income. My cousin Shamir, who&#8217;s in the 1619 documentary in the capitalism episode, started working at 15 years old. The most she ever made was when she got laid off for COVID and got a check from the government to stay at home. The most she ever made. And she cried about it because she was like, “I have been able to save $1,000 for the first time in my life only because all these people are dying out here. That&#8217;s the first time America cared about me.” </blockquote>
The proposal is free money.
The reason the government compensated people during COVID is because the government told them they could not work. The government said you cannot go to school. You cannot go into your place of work. You have to shut down your business. They shut down the entire country, and then they had to do something so people could remain living.
They took away your livelihood, which is not the same thing as a high unemployment rate that results from high levels of high school dropouts, single motherhood, or dysfunction in the home, community, or schools.
It’s not the same, but this is the actual ideal Democrats are shooting for. They won&#8217;t say it out loud because if they ever did, people would recognize how ugly it is. The big problem for the Democrats with Hannah-Jones is that she&#8217;s constantly saying the Democratic ideal out loud.

The reality is that the Biden-Harris administration has tried a lot of this.
Blowing money into the economy, the modern monetary theory that debt doesn&#8217;t matter, that doing so creates a rising tide lifting all boats doesn’t work.
It&#8217;s amoral. Money doesn&#8217;t grow on trees. It&#8217;s not magically popping out of the ground because the Federal Reserve says it is. Money is merely a mechanism of exchange. Money does not have its own inherent value any more than inches have their own inherent value on a ruler. It is a measure and a way of quantifying exchange. That is all money is. That&#8217;s all it’s ever been.
But for the Democrats, the Democratic Party, and Harris, the basic idea is the government can magically make money and then just give it out, and that&#8217;s what makes the economy go. That is the basic theory of leftism when it comes to economics. It&#8217;s the basic Keynesian theory as to how economics should work.
But the actual result is people feel left behind — because it doesn&#8217;t actually work that way.
We are now spending more money year on year than any country in the history of the planet. Yet fewer Americans feel they can achieve what the government has been promising them: the home, the family, the retirement.
That&#8217;s not a spending problem. That is something else. It is a perversion of all the incentives leading people to make the right decisions that allow them to build a home and a family and a retirement. Only <a href="https://www.wsj.com/economy/consumers/american-dream-poll-us-economy-e5ddf640?mod=hp_lead_pos7" target="_blank" rel="noopener">10% of Americans</a> believe home ownership is easy or somewhat easy to achieve.
Guess whose fault that might be.
How about the Biden-Harris administration, which has created the most unaffordable housing market in history? Look at all the restrictions the Democrats have put on building all across the country. Look at how they have inflated the currency, which means an increase in the interest rates, which means higher mortgage rates. Then, nobody wants to sell their homes to end up with a higher mortgage.

In 2005, George W. Bush suggested privatizing Social Security and Democrats went nuts. In January 2005, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was 10,603. Bush was pointing out Social Security is a pyramid scheme. If we had taken the money, put it in an index fund, and left it there until now, trillions of dollars would have flowed into Social Security because today, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is 41,000.
Instead, the federal government was left in charge of the program, so they could raid it whenever necessary.
That is Democratic policy making: You cannot bring the private markets to bear on anything.
Democrats have said everyone needs to go to college, and we need to pour money into student loans. And the cost of college has shot up and the worth of a degree has dropped precipitously.
Harris is proposing $5 trillion in tax increases, including a 28% federal corporate tax rate and a 44.6% top capital gains and dividend tax rate, which would give America the highest total tax rate on corporate income in the developed world.
Democrat policies fail.
And Harris, the most leftist major party presidential candidate in American history, has not been forced to answer for any of them.

CHICAGO—A ragtag coalition of communists, anti-Israel demonstrators, revolutionary feminists, and more have descended on the Windy City to attack the Democratic Party and Vice President Kamala Harris from the Left.
The <a href="https://www.marchondnc2024.org/">March on the DNC</a> is comprised of more than 150 extremist groups that “support terrorism and/or identify as Marxist, communist, or anarchist,” <a href="https://capitalresearch.org/article/protests-and-chaos-at-the-democratic-national-convention-part-1/">according</a> to the Capital Research Center. Members of the coalition have praised Hamas, pushed for a communist revolution, and called for political violence. On Monday, members of the group toppled a <a href="https://x.com/FrontlinesTPUSA/status/1825655701370540310">barricade</a> outside the convention.

On Sunday, a group called “Behind Enemy Lines,” <a href="https://x.com/TheTonus/status/1825327471153344695">handed flyers out</a> at a smaller protest before the start of the convention. The extremist organization isn’t shy about its willingness to use violence to achieve its political goals.
“In Behind Enemy Lines, we strive to approach all of our political work with the discipline and seriousness required in the struggle against imperialism,” <a href="https://behind-enemy-lines.org/who-says-protesting-should-be-safe/">reads an article</a> on the group’s site. It goes on to praise the use of violence by Leftists during the Black Lives Matter riots.
“To borrow an example from some comrades: hundreds, if not thousands of protests against police killings took place in the summer of 2020,” the group says. “None of them were as effective in delivering a message than the burning of the 3rd Police Precinct in Minneapolis in a spontaneous outpouring of the rage of the masses, all done without group chats or the leadership of ‘experienced activists.’”
The protest attracted a wide range of different extreme Leftists, including one protester who openly sided with the terrorist organization Hamas, holding a sign that read “Armed resistance is the only answer. End Israel, stand with Hamas.”

The Capital Research Center’s investigation indicates that this protester’s opinion may be commonplace among the other demonstrators. The group found that “the extremist groups have ties to or have expressed support for 19 foreign terrorist organizations,” including Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Communist Party of the Philippines, and the Taliban, among others.
Monday’s protest, which began at Chicago’s Union Park, was primarily focused on the Israel-Palestine conflict, with the far-Left demonstrators accusing the Democratic Party, “genocide Joe,” and “killer Kamala,” of being complicit in genocide. Attendees heard from Dr. Cornel West, a leftwing activist and political candidate, who slammed the Democrats while speaking to The Daily Wire.
“Shame on the Democratic Party who can’t meet a low moral litmus test of calling genocide into question, you can’t deny it. Quit enabling it,” West said after giving a speech.

Other radical elements in attendance included the Revolutionary Communist Party, which distributed flyers blasting Harris as a “mass murderer and mass incarcerator” before calling on people to “seize on this rare opportunity to build up the basis for revolution.”
