Charlize Theron went off on Amazon founder Jeff Bezos&#8217;s over-the-top wedding to Lauren Sanchez Saturday, before switching gears to rant about politics.
The 49-year-old actress made the remarks while hosting the fifth annual Block Party for the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project on Saturday.
“I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding,” Theron quipped while on stage, per <a href="https://pagesix.com/2025/06/29/celebrity-news/charlize-theron-rips-into-jeff-bezos-and-lauren-sanchezs-50m-wedding/">Page Six</a>. “But that’s okay, because they suck and we’re cool.”
The “Monster” actress voiced more of her opinions, thanking attendees for “taking the time to be a part of this, especially when the world feels like it’s burning because it is.”
“Here in Los Angeles, in the U.S. and across the globe, we’re moving backwards fast,” Theron said. “Immigration policy has destroyed the lives of families, not criminals; women’s rights are becoming less and less every day; queer and trans lives are increasingly being erased; and gender-based violence is on the rise.”
“This isn’t just policy, it’s personal,” she added. Theron also reacted to the applause for her comments, saying, “Yeah, f*** them.”

Theron, whose adopted son identifies as a girl, expressed her unequivocal support for drag queens in 2023.
“We love you queens! We’re in your corner, and we’ve got you, and I will f*** anybody up who is, like, trying to f*** with anything with you guys,” the “Mad Max” star said at the time.
“In all seriousness, there are so many things that are hurting and, really, killing our kids, right, and we all know what I’m talking about right now,” Theron went on, adding that drag was virtuous and made viewers “better” for watching it.
“If you’ve ever seen a drag queen lip sync for her life, it only makes you happier, it only makes you love more. It makes you a better person,” Theron said. “F***, if I could do a death drop right now I would, but I would probably like, break my hip,” she added.
Theron is not the only Hollywood star to criticize Bezos and Sanchez&#8217;s $50-million Venice wedding. Rosie O&#8217;Donnell <a href="https://www.nydailynews.com/2025/06/30/celebs-mocking-jeff-bezos-lauren-sanchez-wedding-charlize-theron-rosie-odonnel/">said</a> &#8220;it turned my stomach seeing all these billionaires gathering in the gross excess of it all,&#8221; calling Sanchez a &#8220;fake fem bot.&#8221; Mia Farrow, Katie Couric, and Olivia Munn all also took to social media to make snide comments about the wedding.

The 48-year-old told <a href="https://www.allure.com/story/charlize-theron-aging-facelift-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Allure magazine</a> that she&#8217;s still dealing with the effects of her fluctuating weight for movies like &#8220;Tully&#8221; as her metabolism has slowed as she has aged.
&#8220;I will never, ever do a movie again and say, &#8216;Yeah, I&#8217;ll gain 40 pounds,'&#8221; Theron said. &#8220;I will never do it again because you can&#8217;t take it off.&#8221;
&#8220;When I was 27, I did &#8216;Monster.&#8217; I lost 30 pounds, like, overnight,&#8221; she added. &#8220;I missed three meals and I was back to my normal weight. Then I did it at 43 for &#8216;Tully,&#8217; and I remember a year into trying to lose the weight, I called my doctor and I said, &#8216;I think I&#8217;m dying because I cannot lose this weight.'&#8221;

&#8220;My face is changing, and I love that my face is changing and aging,&#8221; the 48-year-old actress said in a recent interview with <a href="https://www.allure.com/story/charlize-theron-aging-facelift-interview">Allure</a>.
Theron went on to address speculation running rampant among her fan base. She claimed any changes to her appearance are the result of time, not cosmetic procedures. &#8220;People think I&#8217;ve had a facelift. They’re like, &#8216;What did she do to her face?&#8217; I’m like, &#8216;B***, I’m just aging! It doesn’t mean I got bad plastic surgery. This is just what happens,'&#8221; the “Atomic Blonde” actress continued.
She said there is a double standard between the sexes regarding aging.
“I’ve always had issues with the fact that men kind of age like fine wines and women like cut flowers,” Theron said. &#8220;I despise that concept and I want to fight against it, but I also think women want to age in a way that feels right to them. I think we need to be a little bit more empathetic to how we all go through our journey,&#8221; Theron told the outlet. “My journey of having to see my face on a billboard is quite funny now.&#8221;
The “Fast X” actress also discussed how her two children see and react to the aging process.

“Yes, I thought she was a boy, too,” Theron told the Daily Mail of Jackson in 2019. “Until she looked at me when she was three years old and said, ‘I am not a boy.’”
“My job as a parent is to celebrate them and to love them and to make sure that they have everything they need in order to be what they want to be,” the actress said of her children. “And I will do everything in my power for my kids to have that right and to be protected within that.”

Kelly said she doesn&#8217;t know the Hollywood star but admitted she feels a &#8220;weird connection with this person&#8221; because Theron played Kelly in a movie. In 2019, Theron starred in &#8220;Bombshell,&#8221; a film about female Fox employees who took on network executive Roger Ailes and accused him of fostering a toxic work environment.

&#8220;If you don&#8217;t understand, Charlize [Theron], and LGBTQ Nation, and whoever else came after me for the Friday comments, which I&#8217;m fine with – but if you don&#8217;t understand that there actually is a problem, and if you&#8217;re not equally outraged about it, then you are part of the problem.&#8221;
&#8220;You&#8217;re setting the stage for further grooming and exploitation of children,&#8221; she added. &#8220;And the Charlize Theron thing is so disturbing because guess who the pedophiles mostly go after? There are millions of them in the United States … And the problem for somebody like Charlize Theron with all of her privilege to come out and say, &#8216;I will f*** you up if you oppose drag queens,&#8217; is that she could not come from a more privileged position.&#8221;

The 47-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">star</a> was participating in the “Drag Isn&#8217;t Dangerous” telethon, a star-studded event meant to raise money for &#8220;charitable <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/lgbtq">LGBTQ</a> causes.&#8221; The event featured live entertainment and performances from Hollywood celebrities. 
Theron used the opportunity to confirm her support for the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/drag-queen">drag performers</a>. 
“We love you queens! We&#8217;re in your corner, and we&#8217;ve got you, and I will f*** anybody up who is, like, trying to f*** with anything with you guys,” the “Mad Max” star <a href="https://people.com/movies/charlize-theron-says-she-will-f-anybody-up-who-attacks-drag-queens/">said</a> during the event.

These so-called &#8220;stupid policies&#8221; include legislation introduced in multiple states which would restrict sexually explicit performances in front of children. Many of these bills do not mention drag specifically but rather encompass any performances that are inappropriate for minors.

For <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/reba-mcentire-rips-new-tennessee-law-protecting-children-from-drag-shows">example</a>, Republican Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee signed a bill into law that was set to take effect April 1 that banned “adult cabaret entertainment” on public property or where minors can witness it.
Theron is a vocal advocate for LGBTQ people. Her adopted son identifies as transgender, which the actress said began at a very young age. 
“Yes, I thought she was a boy, too,” the actress <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-11711109/Charlize-Theron-models-pink-coat-daughter-August-Los-Angeles.html">told</a> Daily Mail in 2019. “Until she looked at me when she was three years old and said: ‘I am not a boy!’ So there you go! I have two beautiful daughters who, just like any parent, I want to protect and I want to see thrive.”
“They were born who they are and exactly where in the world both of them get to find themselves as they grow up, and who they want to be, is not for me to decide,” Theron said.

Theron is one of many celebrities whose child identifies as transgender. It’s been years since the 2015 blockbuster “Mad Max: Fury Road” was released, but the film became a topic of conversation all over again thanks to a tell-all book detailing some tense situations on set. New York Times culture reporter Kyle Buchanan penned the non-fiction account &#8220;Blood, Sweat &amp; Chrome: The Wild and True Story of  Mad Max: Fury Road.&#8221;
The most surprising allegations in the book have to do with the relationship between co-stars Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron. An excerpt from the book detailing the cast and crew witnessing an altercation was published to <a href="https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2022/02/mad-max-fury-road-tom-hardy-charlize-theron-excerpt">Vanity Fair</a> this week.
&#8220;I remember vividly the day,&#8221; camera operator Mark Goellnicht said in the book. &#8220;The call on set was eight o&#8217;clock. Charlize got there right at eight o&#8217;clock, sat in the War Rig, knowing that Tom&#8217;s never going to be there at eight even though they made a special request for him to be there on time.&#8221;
Hardy &#8220;was notorious for never being on time in the morning,&#8221; Goellnicht explained. &#8220;If the call time was in the morning, forget it — he didn&#8217;t show up.&#8221;
&#8220;Eleven o&#8217;clock. She&#8217;s now in the War Rig [a giant truck], sitting there with her makeup on and a full costume for three hours,&#8221; Goellnicht recalled. 
&#8220;Tom turns up, and he walks casually across the desert. She jumps out of the War Rig, and she starts swearing her head off at him, saying, &#8216;Fine the f***ing c**t a hundred thousand dollars for every minute that he&#8217;s held up this crew,&#8217; and &#8216;How disrespectful you are!&#8217; She was right. Full rant.&#8221;
“He charged up to her up and went, &#8216;What did you say to me?'&#8221; the cameraman continued. &#8220;He was quite aggressive. She really felt threatened, and that was the turning point, because then she said, &#8216;I want someone as protection.&#8217; She then had a producer that was assigned to be with her all the time.&#8221;
“Boy f***ing howdy, was it clear that those two people hated each other,” editor J. Houston Yang agreed. “They didn’t want to touch each other, they didn’t want to look at each other, they wouldn’t face each other if the camera wasn’t actively rolling.”
Co-star Nicholas Hoult said the on-set atmosphere was like being “on your summer holidays and the adults in the front of the car are arguing.” 
Theron agreed with that assessment, saying, “It was horrible! We should not have done that; we should have been better. I can own up to that.”
&#8220;It got to a place where it was kind of out of hand, and there was a sense that maybe sending a woman producer down could maybe equalize some of it, because I didn&#8217;t feel safe,&#8221; Theron said, according to the book.
&#8220;In hindsight, I was in over my head in many ways,&#8221; Hardy said in the book. &#8220;The pressure on both of us was overwhelming at times. What she needed was a better, perhaps more experienced partner in me. That&#8217;s something that can&#8217;t be faked. I&#8217;d like to think that now that I&#8217;m older and uglier, I could rise to that occasion.&#8221;
Goellnicht also remembers when the vibe on set shifted, with Hardy and Theron reaching a truce and overcoming their animosity. 
&#8220;That scene where you see Tom with Charlize on the bike and all the Vuvalini and the Wives behind, intermingled — that scene was probably the biggest change in seeing Tom really soften to Charlize in real life,&#8221; the cameraman recalled.

SoFi Stadium, where the Super Bowl was played, has a rule that masks are required indoors and outdoors during events with more than 5,000 people.
Among those partying it up maskless were Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, Jay-Z, Ellen DeGeneres, Will Ferrell, Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-rock-seems-to-denounce-joe-rogan-then-video-resurfaces-of-his-wwe-chinese-impression">The Rock</a>,&#8221; among others.

Social media quickly erupted with criticism, highlighting that schoolchildren in Los Angeles are still <a href="https://sports.yahoo.com/california-mask-mandate-ignored-high-014858366.html">required</a> to wear masks at school. Some also pointed out specific celebrities&#8217; personal flip-flop, or hypocrisy on masks.
For example, Theron in the past posted to her Instagram that everyone should &#8220;wear a damn mask&#8221; and &#8220;don&#8217;t be an a**.&#8221;

&#8220;Wear your mask. It baffles me that some people out there, including some politicians, will take this idea of wearing masks and make it part of a political agenda,&#8221; Johnson scolded in an Instagram video.

Some on the Left have suggested the &#8220;science&#8221; has &#8220;changed,&#8221; and now masks are not necessary.
However, the &#8220;science&#8221; seems to have been impacted by politics. At the start of the pandemic, public health officials like Dr. Anthony Fauci told people not to wear masks, before quickly promoting mask mandates on the public, including children. Now, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/does-this-mean-snot-nosed-censors-at-youtube-will-come-to-my-office-and-kiss-my-rand-paul-smashes-youtube">admitted</a> that “loosely woven cloth products provide the least protection.”
The general outrage at the inconsistency about masks exploded online.

She says, however, the road to action stardom has not always been easy, having met obstacles like sexism and bias.
Speaking on the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeeH5s3U-bA&amp;amp;feature=emb_title" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">“Evolution of a Bada**s” panel</a> during Comic-Con@Home this past Friday, Theron said she learned of Hollywood&#8217;s &#8220;misconception&#8221; about female action heroes when prepping for her role on &#8220;The Italian Job.&#8221;
&#8220;I realized there was still so much misconception around women in the genre,&#8221; she said, as reported by <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/charlize-theron-unfair-treatment-woman-action-movies">Fox News</a>. &#8220;The only good thing that came out of that experience was that there was a real pressure to pull off those stunts with the actors – and that was the first time I experienced anything like that. But there was a very unfair process that went with that. I was the only woman with a bunch of guys, and I remember vividly getting the schedule in our preproduction and they had scheduled me for six weeks more car training than any of the guys.&#8221;
&#8220;It was just so insulting, but it was also the thing that put a real fire under my a** and I was like, &#8216;All right, you guys want to play this game? Let&#8217;s go,'&#8221; she continued. &#8220;I made it a point to out-drive all of those guys. I vividly remember Mark Wahlberg, halfway through one of our training sessions, pulling over and throwing up because he was so nauseous from doing 360s.&#8221;
Theron said that her position as an action movie hero changed upon her role in 2015&#8217;s &#8220;Mad Max: Fury Road.&#8221;
&#8220;It wasn&#8217;t until &#8216;Mad Max: Fury Road&#8217; came my way &#8212; that experience and what happened with that film really changed the trajectory for me,” she said. &#8220;I don&#8217;t think I will ever recover from the making of that film.&#8221;
&#8220;There is a responsibility to hand that baton over, that it&#8217;s not just about you,” she added. “Listen, it&#8217;s still disproportionate to our male counterparts out there, and we have to keep putting the pressure on our industry to change that.”
Going forward, Theron said she wants young girls to not think of a female action hero – something that has existed since Sigourney Weaver said &#8220;get away from her, you b***h&#8221; in 1986&#8217;s &#8220;Aliens&#8221; – as something weird or out of place.
&#8220;I want my two young girls to grow up and not even think that this is weird or this is unusual or this is strange,&#8221; Theron said. &#8220;I want this to be normalized.&#8221;
Charlize Theron made headlines last year when she confessed to raising her seven-year-old adopted son as a girl ever since he was three.
“Yes, I thought she was a boy, too,” Charlize told <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6938233/Charlize-Theron-child-thought-boy-girl.html">the Daily Mail</a>. “Until she looked at me when she was three years old and said: ‘I am not a boy!&#8217;”
“So there you go! I have two beautiful daughters who, just like any parent, I want to protect and I want to see thrive,” she continued. “They were born who they are, and exactly where in the world both of them get to find themselves as they grow up, and who they want to be, is not for me to decide.”

&#8220;Bombshell&#8221; actress Charlize Theron recently discussed her biologically male &#8220;transgender&#8221; child, asking people to use the &#8220;right&#8221; pronouns when they speak about seven-year-old Jackson.
&#8220;My daughter&#8217;s story is really her story, and one day, if she chooses, she&#8217;ll tell her story,&#8221; the actress told Pride Source, according to <a href="https://www.theblaze.com/news/actress-charlize-theron-says-she-would-appreciate-it-if-people-called-her-transgender-7-year-old-by-the-right-pronoun">TheBlaze</a>. &#8220;I feel like as her mother, for me, it was important to let the world know that I would appreciate it if they would use the right pronouns for her.&#8221;
&#8220;I think it became harder for us the older she got that people were still writing about her in the wrong pronouns, and also I was still talking about her in the press using the wrong pronoun,&#8221; Theron said. &#8220;It really hurt her feelings. I don&#8217;t want to be that mom, and that was really why I [revealed the news about Jackson] a while back.&#8221;
Jackson was adopted by Theron in 2012. Up until the child was three years old, the actress said in April, she wrongly thought Jackson was &#8220;a boy.&#8221; The child, according to Theron, is a girl.
&#8220;Yes, I thought she was a boy, too,&#8221; Theron told U.K. outlet <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6938233/Charlize-Theron-child-thought-boy-girl.html">The Daily Mail</a>. &#8220;Until she looked at me when she was three years old and said, &#8216;I am not a boy.'&#8221;
&#8220;My job as a parent is to celebrate them and to love them and to make sure that they have everything they need in order to be what they want to be,&#8221; the actress said of her children. &#8220;And I will do everything in my power for my kids to have that right and to be protected within that.&#8221;
Theron is not the only Hollywood celebrity to indulge his/her child&#8217;s seeming gender confusion.
In September, &#8220;Transformers&#8221; actress Megan Fox defended her decision to let her six-year-old son Noah wear dresses to school.
Speaking with “<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/sara-gilbert-the-talk-conners-leaving" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">The Talk</a>,&#8221; &#8220;Fox said that her son sometimes wants to wear dresses to his &#8216;liberal, hippy&#8217; school, and she allows him to pick the outfit he desires despite the ridicule he faces from other boys,&#8221; <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/megan-fox-defends-letting-her-6-year-old-son-wear-paul-bois">The Daily Wire</a> reported.
“Sometimes, he’ll dress himself and he likes to wear dresses, sometimes,” said the mother of three. “And I send him to a really liberal, hippy school, but even there — here in California — he still has little boys going, ‘Boys don’t wear dresses,’ or ‘Boys don’t wear pink.&#8217;”
“So we’re going through that now, where I’m trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says,” the &#8220;Jennifer&#8217;s Body&#8221; star continued.

Singer Alicia Keys expressed frustration this week over the fact her four-year-old son, Genesis, did not want to wear his rainbow manicure anymore.
Alicia Keys said more people should embrace their &#8220;masculine and feminine energies&#8221; after describing how her four-year-old son told her he didn&#8217;t want to wear his rainbow manicure anymore.
According to <a href="https://www.insider.com/alicia-keys-son-was-scared-to-wear-rainbow-manicure-2019-11">Insider</a>, the &#8220;No One&#8221; singer said in a video posted to Instagram that her son was originally excited to get his nails painted before having a change of heart after seeing they were rainbow-colored.
&#8220;So he tells the lady that he wants rainbow colors on his nails, and she brings all of these colors, and she paints each nail a different color,&#8221; Keys said in the video. &#8220;And after she painted his nails, he looked at me, he said, &#8216;Mommy, I don&#8217;t want this on my nails.'&#8221;
Keys went on to lament how her son believed that people would be judgemental of his rainbow-colored nails.
&#8220;And I was like, &#8216;Why? You were so sure. You were good.&#8217; And he was like, &#8216;People are not going to like it.&#8217; Can you believe this? Four years old. He&#8217;s four! And he already understands the concept that someone&#8217;s going to judge him because he chose rainbow colors on his nails,&#8221; she continued.
The singer said she encouraged her son to not care what anyone else has to say. &#8220;You chose it. You liked it. You do it. Who cares what anybody else says?&#8221; Keys allegedly told her son, adding that &#8220;a lot of guys paint their nails.&#8221;
Genesis allegedly felt better about the situation after Keys gave him a pep talk. She concluded the Instagram video by hoping that people will step outside of gender stereotyping to explore &#8220;masculine and feminine energies.&#8221;
&#8220;It gets concerning to me that we can&#8217;t just explore these different sides of ourselves,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I oftentimes express the masculine energy that&#8217;s inside of me. All the time, if that happens, there&#8217;s the judgments, and there&#8217;s the stereotypes, and there&#8217;s all the energy that comes toward that.&#8221;
&#8220;And for my boys, you know, similar. If they want to express the feminine energy that&#8217;s inside of them, there&#8217;s all these judgments and all these rules and stereotypes and vibes,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;It&#8217;s really frustrating to me. I&#8217;m actually really, really frustrated about it.&#8221;
As noted by Insider, Keys received overwhelmingly positive responses from her massive amount of followers.
&#8220;This kid. This expression. This parenting. This thinking. THIS is the stuff that will change the world. For the better,&#8221; one follower said.
&#8220;I loved your feedback to him. So beautiful,&#8221; said another.

This past April, actress Charlize Theron <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/46193/charlize-theron-my-seven-year-old-son-really-girl-paul-bois">told the Daily Mail</a> that she began dressing her three-year-old son like a girl the moment he told her, &#8220;I’m not a boy!&#8221; Theron also defined parenting as simply celebrating her children as they wish to be, rather than as serving as a guide to help direct children.

Alicia Keys ‘Frustrated’ Her Son Did Not Want To Wear A Rainbow Manicure

When approaching her role in Lionsgate’s “Bombshell,” actress Charlize Theron was apprehensive, reports <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/02/entertainment/charlize-theron-megyn-kelly-bombshell/index.html">CNN</a>.
“This was not a person who was easy for me to wrap my arms around,” Theron said at a recent panel in L.A.
<blockquote>From afar it looks like we have nothing in common – obviously, I&#8217;m a liberal and a lot of these women have said things that have been deeply upsetting to me. But at the same time, as a woman, understanding what each of them went through and understanding what Megyn was facing, especially in those two weeks where she didn&#8217;t step forward and she didn&#8217;t support Gretchen [Carlson], that&#8217;s when I emotionally tapped into her because I started to see similarities between us, dare I say that.</blockquote>
“Bombshell,” a film that chronicles the downfall of former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes after allegations of sexual misconduct, stars Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, and Margot Robbie. It was written by Charles Randolph, who co-wrote 2015’s “The Big Short,” and directed by Jay Roach, who directed political dramas “All The Way” and “Game Change.”
“I saw a woman with ambition, with drive, and all of a sudden I realized, ‘S***, this is the kind of stuff that&#8217;s been weaponized against me. I relate to that.’ That&#8217;s when it became clear to me just how important this story was,” Theron stated. “Because if we can see the power of the message through someone who we may not agree with or somebody who might even anger us, that tells you there&#8217;s something real there.”
Theron added that it was difficult to analyze Megyn Kelly as a person because so much of the available footage of the former Fox News anchor is from her doing her job as a journalist.
Theron had previously <a href="https://www.vulture.com/2019/10/charlize-theron-megyn-kelly-bombshell-monster.html">discussed</a> the role, and the way in which actors are supposed to engage with character research, with CNN’s Alisyn Camerota, saying:
<blockquote>You forget sometimes – all of us do this – we think we know people, we have our preconceived ideas of them. As an actor, you have to have that ability to put all of that aside and do research, and to actually find out about somebody.</blockquote>
Theron added that there were certain aspects of the part that “bothered” her. It wasn’t until she came to the understanding that the movie was a portrait of the women who took on an alleged abuser at Fox News, rather than a Megyn Kelly biopic, that it “felt &#8230; like a story worth telling.”
In her 2016 memoir “<a href="https://people.com/books/megyn-kelly-memoir-9-things-we-learned-about-roger-ailes-alleged-sexual-harassment/">Settle for More</a>,” Kelly describes an incident that allegedly took place in January 2006: “Roger called me up to New York and we had a shocking exchange. I was nervous about going into his office, concerned he might start in again. Sure enough he did. And then he crossed a new line – trying to grab me repeatedly and kiss me on the lips.”
Kelly also claims that Ailes had made sexually charged comments toward her. The Fox News anchor left the network in January 2017.
In July 2016, former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson, who is played by Nicole Kidman in “Bombshell,” <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2016/09/06/fox-settles-with-gretchen-carlson-for-20m-and-is-expected-to-offer-apology-report.html">sued</a> Ailes for sexual harassment. Two months later, the suit was settled, and Carlson was paid $20 million.
Announcing the settlement of the suit, 21st Century Fox issued a statement that read in part: “We sincerely regret and apologize for the fact that Gretchen was not treated with the respect and dignity that she and all of our colleagues deserve.”
