Hunter Biden is back.
There are a couple of reasons why that matters. One is that Hunter Biden is a stand-in for his father. When Hunter talks, Hunter is speaking for Joe Biden. And when he speaks for Joe Biden, he is speaking for the establishment wing of the Democratic Party.
The second reason is that Hunter Biden&#8217;s exposure of the entire Left for the fraud that it is, because of his father, is quite incredible.
It is worthwhile to remember that Hunter Biden was part of that inner coterie of people surrounding Joe Biden who knew that Joe was unhealthy, mentally unwell, and who left him in place because they were essentially playing at the presidency. When you listen to Hunter, you should understand he was at least partially the actual president of the United States for several years.
So that makes Hunter’s interview with Andrew Callaghan of Channel 5 on YouTube important.
He said Nancy Pelosi drove Biden out of the race. “You know who did not want Kamala Harris to be president and did not want her to be the nominee?” Hunter asked. “Nancy Pelosi didn&#8217;t want her to be; none of Nancy Pelosi&#8217;s people wanted her to be. They wanted an open convention. They wanted a floor fight. I don&#8217;t know what the hell they wanted, but they wanted to be the ones to anoint whoever they were going to anoint to become the next president of the United States. … All I know is that they definitely did not want Kamala Harris, which undermined her, which undermined the campaign.”
He also took some swipes at people like George Clooney and David Axelrod, saying:
<blockquote>You know what George Clooney did? He was given the blessing by the Obama team or the Obama people and whoever else, and David Axelrod and whoever the f*** else. &#8230; ‘We are going to insert our judgment over yours.’ We, me, and James Carville, who hasn&#8217;t won a race in 40 f***ing years, and David Axelrod, who had one success in his political life, and that was Barack Obama — and that was because of Barack Obama, not because of David Axelrod and David Plouffe and all of these guys, the Pod Save America guys who were junior speechwriters on Barack Obama&#8217;s Senate staff who have been dining out on the relationship with him for years, making millions of dollars, the Anita Dunns of the world, who&#8217;s made $40, $50 million off the Democratic Party &#8230; I don&#8217;t have to be nice. &#8230; What right do you have to step on a man who&#8217;s given 52 years of his life to the services of this country and decide that you, George Clooney, are going to take out basically a full page ad in The New York Times to undermine the president?</blockquote>
Hunter also suggested that he was totally qualified to be on Burisma&#8217;s board. One of the kind of seamy realities about the last election cycle is that some of it was about Joe Biden&#8217;s age. A lot of it was about a widespread perception of the Biden family&#8217;s absolutely deep and abiding corruption.

Hunter denied he had been put on the board of Burisma for any political reason, which, of course, is absolutely ridiculous. He had no experience in the energy sector. He couldn&#8217;t point out Ukraine on a map, and suddenly he was on the board of a Ukrainian energy firm?
It had nothing to do with his last name being Biden.
The last part of the interview was amusing — Hunter defending himself by making the argument that crack is somehow safer than alcohol, which is a hell of an argument.
But put all of this aside. Put aside the Biden administration and its corruption, the fact that Joe Biden was dead for several years, and that his family was essentially running the government. If you see Hunter as a stand-in for the Joe Biden moderate wing of the Democratic Party, things start to get interesting because Hunter Biden also spoke about policy.
There were two particular issues where Hunter Biden put specific focus: illegal immigration and Israel. These issues are the ones where Democrats are completely at odds with the American people, but they will not let it go. They are more likely to let go of the trans issue than to let go of illegal immigration and open borders, as well as the new flavor of the month, that Palestinians are the great victims in the Middle East, including Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, Islamic Jihad, and all the rest of the terrorist groups.
If you&#8217;re trying to figure out the direction of the Democratic Party, if you&#8217;re trying to get out the divining rod and determine which direction the Democratic Party is going to move into, the more moderate side or the more radical side, here’s the key: the moderates are already caving to the radicals.
They may separate from the trans stuff because it&#8217;s been so wildly unsuccessful for them. But the root cause of the Democratic Party is a belief that America is a great victimizer in the world, and therefore, America ought not to have borders, and also America’s foreign policy should be to abandon any strong ally, as long as it is beneficial to the Democratic Party.
“All these Democrats say you have to talk about and realize that people are really upset about illegal immigration,” he said. “How do you think your hotel room gets cleaned? How do you think you get food on your table? Who do you think washes your dishes? Who do you think does your garden? Who do you think is here, by the sheer, just grit and will that they figured out a way to get here because they thought that they could give themselves and their family a better chance, and he&#8217;s (Trump) somehow convinced all of us that these people are criminals? White men in America are 45 more times likely to commit violent crime than an immigrant.”
He actually concluded that statement by suggesting that we should actually force El Salvador to send back illegal immigrants. Which is funny, since the ones we&#8217;re sending to El Salvador are, by and large, people with actual criminal records.
This is vitally important because Hunter was Joe Biden&#8217;s partially functioning brain during the administration. This is the Democratic Party perspective on illegal immigration: America ought to be an open borders country because unfettered immigration, without any sort of real security, without any sort of concern about cultural assimilation, is an effective good.
That is something the Democratic Party deeply believes in. As we start discussing 2028 candidates understand, there will not be a Democrat on the stage who significantly calls for border security.
It&#8217;s not just with regard to immigration. The Democratic Party also realizes that the energy in its party is very much on the side of third-world-ism.
It&#8217;s the Zoran Mamdani belief that the Third World has been victimized by America and her allies, and therefore the Third World must have her revenge. Hunter was talking about the dramatic increase in antisemitism under his father&#8217;s administration and claimed the real reason for that is because of the Israelis. In other words, after Hamas murdered 1,200 Jews in Israel and took 250 hostage, a couple of dozen of whom are still being held hostage after a year and a half, it&#8217;s Israel&#8217;s fault that antisemitism broke out.
He quoted the noted hater of Israel, Tom Friedman, saying that the worst thing that&#8217;s happened to the Jewish people is the Israeli government. “Jewish people globally, the threats to their lives, the anti-Semitism that it has generated,” he said.
The worst thing that has happened to the Jewish people is the Israeli government, according to Hunter Biden. Then he bragged about how his father tried to hamstring Israel in its pursuit of getting back its hostages and ending Hamas, an actual, honest-to-god, American State Department-designated terrorist group in the Gaza Strip.
“He took away the bunker-busting bombs from the Israelis,” he boasted. “He tried to curtail Netanyahu&#8217;s thing. He forced Netanyahu to open up shipping lanes and aid lanes at the Rafah crossing to be able to get food aid in. He put pressure over and over and over again. And now, by the way, that is not even remotely happening. What is happening is that they were bombing food lines. There is no one in there to be able to record it. &#8230;There have been more journalists killed at this war in Gaza than in any other war combined, and nobody&#8217;s doing anything about it.”
This is propaganda on behalf of Hamas, because the reality is that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, the GHF, which has been actually facilitating the entry of aid into Gaza, has been denying Hamas access to the food, which is why Hamas is shooting people and then attempting to insinuate itself among the population in order to shoot at Israeli soldiers, who then respond. That is the reality.
But these are the parts of the Democratic base that the Democrats are trying to woo. It is very important to them, illegal immigration, and third-world-ism. There is no systemic immunity for the Democratic Party against the radical base.
It does not exist. So if you think they&#8217;re going to nominate somebody who&#8217;s quasi-moderate in 2028, you’re wrong.
It is not going to happen.

On Sunday night, Joe Biden decided that now was the moment. Yes, he had promised he was not going to pardon his son, Hunter, on gun and tax charges, but hell, he’s leaving office. There is no reason for him to lie anymore.
So, he released a statement announcing he is pardoning his son on all charges, not just granting commutation of the sentence. He could have granted commutation, meaning he could have left all of the guilty pleas and convictions on the books without his son having to go to jail.
Instead, he decided to issue a full pardon, meaning that his son’s record was wiped clean. Biden didn’t just issue a full pardon for the things Hunter was convicted of or to which he pled guilty; he issued a full pardon dating all the way back to January 1, 2014, through December 1, 2024, nearly an 11-year period.
A blanket pardon for everything Hunter had done.
Obvious was the hilarious spectacle of Biden issuing the pardon with roughly four hours remaining until December 1 was over. Theoretically, Hunter Biden could have done anything, even gone on a murder spree, and he would have gotten off scot-free.
The obvious question is: Why would he make the pardon applicable to the last 11 years?
The answer, of course, is because Hunter Biden was the bagman, as we all know.

As I’ve discussed repeatedly, Joe Biden has spent his entire political career enriching his family since the time he was in the Senate from Delaware. He used his position to enrich his brothers, Frank and James. He used his position to enrich his sister, Valerie. He used his position in order to deploy Hunter Biden — his derelict, drug-addled son — all over the world and pick up stacks of cash on behalf of the family from China to Ukraine.
Much of that cash was apparently being held in trust for “the big guy,” according to contemporaneous email messages and texts that were sent by Hunter on that famous Hunter Biden laptop.
So why did Biden issue a pardon on everything?
Because he is afraid of, not just the charges that Hunter Biden was caught up in, but also of his connection to Joe that will be the subject of further investigation.
He&#8217;s trying to clear the decks so that Hunter Biden is now off the hook for absolutely everything, including his time at Burisma. It is not a coincidence this pardon begins January 1, 2014. When exactly did Hunter Biden join Burisma? Answer: April 2014.
Joe Biden is clearly attempting to wipe the books of his corruption or any possible investigation into the money that passed hands between foreign countries and Hunter Biden and then held by Hunter Biden for “the big guy.”
That is the goal here.
This is full-scale, obvious political corruption of the most unseemly sort.
Joe Biden put out <a href="https://x.com/townhallcom/status/1863381785494585436" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a statement</a>, saying:
<blockquote>Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter. From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.</blockquote>
If you say that you&#8217;re not going to interfere with the Justice Department&#8217;s decision-making and then you full-on pardon your son, after claiming that the Justice Department selectively prosecuted your son, that would be, technically, the largest scale of interference with the Department of Justice.
Sure, you let them waste millions of dollars prosecuting your son, only to pardon him later. But you are openly suggesting that they were corrupt, that they did something wrong, which they didn&#8217;t. 
Biden continued, “Without aggravating factors like use in a crime, multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form.”
The reality, of course, is that Joe Biden&#8217;s son filled out a gun form claiming he was not a drug addict while he was, in fact, in full-scale drug addiction mode, snorting parmesan cheese off carpet, thinking that perhaps it was meth or cocaine. And that&#8217;s according to his own memoir.
If you lie on a gun registration form about not being a drug addict, the punishment is up to 10 years in jail or $250,000 in fines. Very often, those sorts of charges are brought.
With regard to Hunter Biden, if he were some poor kid from Appalachia, the chances that this kid would not have been prosecuted under the statute are very, very low.
But according to Joe Biden, it was all corrupt. That&#8217;s the real reason. It&#8217;s not because he&#8217;s trying to cover up what he did with his son. Hunter was the bag man.
The real issue here is that the Justice Department was going after his poor, innocent 51-year-old, totally derelict son, who happened to be picking up stacks of cash for him.
Biden stated:
<blockquote>Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions, but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties, are typically given non-criminal resolutions. It is clear that Hunter was treated differently. The charges in his cases came about only after several of my political opponents in Congress instigated them to attack me and oppose my election. Then, a carefully negotiated plea deal, agreed to by the Department of Justice, unraveled in the court room – with a number of my political opponents in Congress taking credit for bringing political pressure on the process. Had the plea deal held, it would have been a fair, reasonable resolution of Hunter’s cases.</blockquote>
To recall what happened in this case, the Justice Department tried to cut an unprecedented sweetheart deal with Hunter Biden. The nature of that deal is that there were essentially two sets of plea agreements. One was a plea agreement with regard to the gun charge, and the other added onto the tax charges along with anything else Hunter might have done.
The plea deal on the gun charge was out in the open. But then there was a secret agreement on the tax charges that included an addendum that covered any other crimes Hunter may have committed during this period. The judge in that case looked at the plea agreement and basically said, “What the hell is this? I can&#8217;t greenlight this deal.”

The DOJ was never really going after the Bidens. That was the entire point. They were only forced to prosecute Hunter Biden after the judge stepped in and said no.
Biden stated, “No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son – and that is wrong. There has been an effort to break Hunter – who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me – and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough.”
He&#8217;s suggesting that if he doesn&#8217;t pardon Hunter, there will be further charges brought against Hunter Biden.
There&#8217;s one problem: Since Joe Biden has pardoned Hunter, Hunter can no longer plead the Fifth Amendment. If, for example, the DOJ of the Trump administration investigates and finds that Hunter Biden was likely picking up stacks of cash on behalf of his dad in foreign countries while his dad was vice president of the United States, Hunter can no longer plead the Fifth, because to plead the Fifth Amendment, he would have to say he would be incriminating himself.
But if you&#8217;ve been pardoned for the possible crimes, then you have no grounds for citing the Fifth Amendment.
Biden continued:
<blockquote>For my entire career I have followed a simple principle: just tell the American people the truth. They’ll be fair-minded. Here’s the truth: I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice – and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.</blockquote>
One of the great liars in American history, Joe Biden. Just tell the American people the truth, says the man who ran on the presumption that he was not senile while everyone knew it was untrue. He is wildly dishonest. He openly said in July 2024 he would not pardon Hunter under any circumstances.
He lied.
And we should not be surprised.

The Sweeping Pardon That Exposed Biden’s Corruption Once And For All

Special Counsel <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/david-weiss" target="_blank" rel="noopener">David Weiss</a> charged a former FBI informant with lying about President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden&#8217;s business dealings with Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma.
Weiss — who has charged Hunter Biden with six felonies and six misdemeanors in two seperate criminal investigations — charged Alexander Smirnov with 18 U.S.C. § 1001: false statement, and 18 U.S.C. § 1519: creating a false and fictitious record, related to allegedly false information that he gave to his FBI handler about the Bidens.
The <a href="https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.cacd.915062/gov.uscourts.cacd.915062.1.0.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">indictment</a> says that Smirnov was warned by his FBI handler nearly two dozen times over the course of a decade that the information that he was relaying to the Bureau must be truthful or else he would face criminal consequences.
He was arrested on Thursday at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas after arriving in the U.S. from overseas.
Smirnov provided information to the Handler that he knew was being used in various criminal investigations conducted by the FBI. The indictment says that he was authorized by U.S. authorities to engage in certain criminal activity for the sake of assisting law enforcement in their investigations.
Smirnov &#8220;provided false derogatory information to the FBI&#8221; about Joe Biden after he announced his 2020 presidential campaign, the indictment says.

The indictment laid out the story that Smirnov told his handler:
<blockquote>Three years later, in June 2020, the Defendant reported, for the first time, two meetings in 2015 and/or 2016, during the Obama-Biden Administration, in which he claimed executives associated with Burisma, including Burisma Official 1, admitted to him that they hired [Hunter Biden] to “protect us, through his dad, from all kinds of problems,” and later that they had specifically paid $5 million each to [then-Vice President Joe Biden] and [Hunter Biden], when [Joe Biden] was still in office, so that “[Hunter Biden] will take care of all those issues through his dad,” referring to a criminal investigation being conducted by the then-Ukrainian Prosecutor General into Burisma and to “deal with [the then-Ukrainian Prosecutor General].”
[Smirnov] also reported two purported phone calls between himself and Burisma Official 1 wherein Burisma Official 1 stated that he had been forced to pay [Joe Biden] and [Hunter Biden] and that it would take investigators 10 years to find records of illicit payments to [Joe Biden].</blockquote>
The indictment said that the allegations that Smirnov provided to his handler in June 2020 were &#8220;fabrications.&#8221;
<p class="paragraph inline-placeholder" data-uri="cms.cnn.com/_components/paragraph/instances/clsnr8s8f001a3b6hhqxsffhf@published" data-editable="text" data-component-name="paragraph" data-article-gutter="true" data-analytics-observe="off">“In truth and fact, [Smirnov] had contact with executives from Burisma in 2017, after the end of the Obama-Biden Administration and after the then Ukrainian Prosecutor General had been fired in February 2016, in other words, when [Joe Biden] had no ability to influence U.S. policy and when the Prosecutor General was no longer in office,” the indictment states.

Shortly after the 2018 midterms, Jerry Nadler — who was about to become the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee — boarded an Acela train from New York to Washington. When he got to his seat, he began loudly speaking on the phone with someone who remains unknown to this day. Unfortunately for Nadler, the editor-in-chief of the conservative website The Federalist, Mollie Hemingway, was seated nearby, jotting down notes about the whole conversation.
Hemingway <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2018/11/07/incoming-democrat-chairman-dems-will-go-all-in-on-russia-impeach-kavanaugh-for-perjury/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">overheard</a> Nadler outline, in no uncertain terms, Democrats&#8217; plans for going, &#8220;all-in&#8221; on investigating and ultimately impeaching Donald Trump. It was much more important for Democrats to impeach Donald Trump than Brett Kavanaugh, Nadler said, because going after Kavanaugh might remind voters of Joe Biden&#8217;s disastrous handling of Anita Hill&#8217;s sexual harassment allegations against Clarence Thomas. That could harm Joe Biden&#8217;s chances of becoming president. So, Nadler said, the safe play was to impeach Donald Trump for colluding with Russia, which is an accusation that Jerry Nadler has never had any evidence to support. If Democrats went with that strategy, Nadler said on the phone, it would clear the way for a Joe Biden presidency.
In one sense, what Mollie Hemingway overheard wasn&#8217;t surprising. More than a year earlier, just minutes after Donald Trump was inaugurated, The Washington Post <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/2017/live-updates/politics/live-coverage-of-trumps-inauguration/the-campaign-to-impeach-president-trump-has-begun/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a>, &#8220;The campaign to impeach President Trump has begun.&#8221; But in retrospect, Jerry Nadler&#8217;s remarks on that train back in 2018 didn&#8217;t just foreshadow Donald Trump&#8217;s two impeachments, or the presidency of Joe Biden. They also established the blueprint for how Leftists would treat all political investigations moving forward. They have no interest in the evidence. They don&#8217;t care about the law. Their goal, instead, is to use the force of the legal system to punish their enemies.
This was a shift that was much bigger than Jerry Nadler. The same year that Nadler made those remarks on the Acela, Letitia James was campaigning to become New York&#8217;s attorney general. And she said pretty much the same thing. She <a href="https://ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/politics/2018/12/24/how-letitia-james-says-she-plans-to-investigate-president-donald-trump-once-new-york-attorney-general" target="_blank" rel="noopener">promised</a> to find some way to take Donald Trump to court, however implausible. Aand she followed through.

One of the many problems with this strategy is that it&#8217;s short-sighted. Democrats failed to ensure they&#8217;d hold onto political power forever. That&#8217;s certainly their goal. It&#8217;s the entire justification for their immigration policy. But they haven&#8217;t achieved it yet. So right now, Republicans are in control of the House of Representatives. And yesterday, they announced their own impeachment inquiry. They&#8217;re looking primarily at whether Joe Biden sold favors to overseas interests, particularly in Ukraine and China. 
In a moment, I&#8217;ll go into some of the evidence that justifies this inquiry. But really, we don&#8217;t have to go into all of it. Once Jerry Nadler adopted the Stalinist standard for impeachment — basically, &#8220;show me a man and I&#8217;ll show you the crime&#8221; — then evidence became moot. Impeachment is all about raw political power now. It&#8217;s not about evidence. And it&#8217;s certainly not about fairness, or the rule of law.
The White House and the Biden family know all of this. That&#8217;s why they&#8217;re not even pretending to defend themselves. Hunter Biden went in front of the cameras and announced he&#8217;s not going to comply with a congressional subpoena he was served. Watch:

Hunter Biden received a lawful subpoena for closed-door testimony. This is the same kind of subpoena Donald Trump Jr. and many other Trump aides were forced to comply with, for hours on end. But he just doesn&#8217;t want to do it, so he refuses.
And his justification for refusing is completely absurd. There&#8217;s no legal basis for it, and Hunter Biden isn&#8217;t pretending there is one. Instead, he&#8217;s saying he wants to testify in front of the news media, instead of a closed-door session. It&#8217;s just his preference, and he seems to think that his preference is somehow binding on Congress.
It was just a couple of years ago that former Trump adviser Steve Bannon <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/steve-bannon-subpoena-january-6-select-committee/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">defied</a> a congressional subpoena. Unlike Hunter Biden, he had a reason for doing so. He argued it was unlawful for Congress to compel him to testify about his work in the White House, citing executive privilege. 
Now, whatever you make of that defense, it&#8217;s clearly rooted in the law. It&#8217;s <a href="https://rollcall.com/2023/11/09/appeals-court-skeptical-of-bannon-push-to-overturn-contempt-of-congress-convictions/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">working</a> its way through the federal appellate process as we speak. What happened to Steve Bannon because he asserted that defense? He was sentenced to four months in prison:

Is that going to happen to Hunter Biden? As of now, congressional Republicans are threatening to hold him in contempt of Congress, which they obviously should. But then there&#8217;s the question of whether Joe Biden&#8217;s DOJ will pursue criminal charges. Will they throw Hunter Biden in prison for this? Will they demand he testify, under oath, about his father&#8217;s involvement in his business?
That&#8217;s an open question. Right now, the DOJ is pursuing charges against Hunter Biden about his fraudulent gun form, and his tax evasion. But those charges don&#8217;t directly relate to the main issue in this impeachment inquiry, which is where Hunter Biden got all of his money from — and more importantly, Joe Biden&#8217;s involvement in procuring that money.
Yesterday a reporter at Fox asked the White House press secretary about all of this. She proceeded to make it clear that Joe Biden knew that Hunter would defy the congressional subpoena. Beyond that, she just made light of the whole situation. Watch:

This kind of question should be extremely easy to answer. If you&#8217;re asked whether the president told his son to defy a congressional subpoena, you should be able to respond and explain yourself. Instead, the White House press secretary cracks a joke, and starts talking about how much Joe Biden loves his son.
What this means, almost certainly, is that Joe Biden did advise his son to defy the congressional subpoena, without any legal basis whatsoever. Under the standards Democrats established with Steve Bannon and several other Trump aides, that&#8217;s a crime. 
And there&#8217;s an obvious motive for why Joe Biden would want his son to commit this crime. Hunter Biden himself made that motive very clear during his remarks to reporters yesterday. Watch:

Did you catch the qualifier there? Hunter wants you to know that his father was not &#8220;financially involved&#8221; in his business dealings with corrupt oligarchs in Ukraine and China. So this is not a denial that Joe Biden was involved in Hunter Biden&#8217;s business dealings. Now it&#8217;s a denial that Joe Biden was &#8220;financially&#8221; involved.
This is a very different claim from the one Joe Biden has been making for years. Watch:

The reason for this change is the Biden family knows they can&#8217;t deny a direct link between Joe Biden and Hunter Biden&#8217;s influence peddling operation. Devon Archer, one of Hunter Biden&#8217;s business associates, has already <a href="https://x.com/SpeakerJohnson/status/1734928534156595442?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">testified</a> in front of the House of Representatives, saying that Joe Biden spoke with Hunter Biden&#8217;s business partners roughly 20 times. Those conversations, according to Archer, took place while Joe Biden was the sitting vice president of the United States.  
The Wall Street Journal also reported that Archer testified that, &#8220;Burisma would have gone out of business if it didn&#8217;t have the [Biden] brand attached to it.&#8221; As you will recall, Burisma is the Ukraine oil company that paid Hunter Biden tens of thousands of dollars a month for a no-show job, despite Hunter Biden having no oil expertise whatsoever. Burisma was being investigated by Ukraine&#8217;s attorney general, up until Joe Biden threatened to withhold money to Ukraine&#8217;s government until they fired him.
Then there&#8217;s the fact that Joe Biden used a fake name to email with Hunter&#8217;s business partners. There&#8217;s also the many public comments of Tony Bobulinski, the Hunter Biden business partner who has repeatedly said that Joe Biden personally profited from Hunter Biden&#8217;s influence peddling. Bobulinski — who had no reason to lie whatsoever — told Tucker Carlson that Joe Biden was the &#8220;big guy&#8221; referenced repeatedly in emails on Hunter Biden&#8217;s laptop. The Big Guy, according to the emails, was slated to receive 10% of the profits from one business venture in China.
It&#8217;s important to recount all of this because even now, Democrats are claiming that there are no witnesses to support the idea that Joe Biden could possibly be corrupt. Here&#8217;s AOC for example:

This is how the Left plans to respond to the congressional investigation into Joe Biden. They&#8217;ll deny reality. They&#8217;ll pretend that witnesses don&#8217;t exist, even when those witnesses have appeared before Congress and on primetime television. All of this was foreseeable when Jerry Nadler, Leticia James, and other top Democrats decided to use the legal system and the impeachment process to punish their political opponents. It was inevitable that soon enough, they&#8217;d be forced to admit they can&#8217;t possibly live up to their own nonexistent standards. Conservatives can either take advantage of it, or they can do what they usually do. They can make a big show for the cameras and completely fail to follow through. Former Vice President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> allegedly discussed expanding overseas business deals in Kazakhstan with Hunter Biden, former Burisma board member Devon Archer, and an international banker during an in-person meeting at his Washington, D.C., mansion in 2015.
Archer, who testified behind closed doors in front of the House Oversight Committee in July, claimed Biden was on speakerphone with his son during more than 20 calls relating to foreign business deals dating back to 2014. But in this particular case, Archer said he met with the Bidens for an exclusive breakfast meeting at the U.S. Naval Observatory with Marc Holtzman, chairman of Kazakhstan&#8217;s largest bank, Kazkommertsbank.
The discussion revolved around Holtzman lobbying then-Vice President Biden to use his influence to help then-Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov — who is currently serving 18 years in a Kazakhstan jail after authorities convicted him of high treason and other crimes — to be Secretary-General of the United Nations, according to Archer.
&#8220;It was about who was going to be the next U.N. Secretary-General … Marc Holtzman was lobbying for Karim Massimov,&#8221; Archer <a href="https://justthenews.com/sites/default/files/2023-08/Devon-Archer-Transcript.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> during his testimony. &#8220;But it was, obviously, that didn&#8217;t happen.&#8221;
Archer added that the meeting also occurred to further Burisma&#8217;s energy deal in Ukraine.
&#8220;The other reasons for Massimov were Burisma Eurasia, because he was the Prime Minister, and Burisma was trying to expand its businesses, so I leveraged the relationship to introduce him to the company &#8212; the country and new equipment and technology and clean drilling,&#8221; Archer said. &#8220;So that was &#8212; that was probably some of the effort.&#8221;
However, the deal was reportedly never made.

GOP lawmakers on Wednesday <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/house-republicans-accuse-democrats-and-their-corporate-media-allies-of-ignoring-evidence-of-biden-family-corruption" target="_blank" rel="noopener">released</a> more than 20 examples alleging President Joe Biden’s past involvement with his family’s foreign business dealings as they accused “Democrats and their corporate media allies” of ignoring the “mounting evidence.”
Republicans claim Biden and his family made millions of dollars from payments by overseas business interests, including an energy company in Ukraine, a private equity firm in China, and consulting for a Romanian real-estate magnate. The investigation has also alleged Hunter pulled in an estimated $20 million through 20 shell companies and fake accounts while his father served as vice president.
Archer told lawmakers that &#8220;Biden was used as &#8216;The Brand&#8217; and to send &#8216;signals&#8217; of power, access, and influence to enrich the Biden family from foreign sources,&#8221; the committee wrote in the news release.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) directed the House committees to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Biden after months of House Republicans uncovering &#8220;serious and credible&#8221; allegations into President Biden&#8217;s conduct that he referred to as a &#8220;culture of corruption.&#8221;
House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, who is part of the House Oversight Committee leading the impeachment inquiry into President Biden, <a href="https://justthenews.com/accountability/political-ethics/thuhunter-biden-delivered-meeting-father-business-associates-inside#article" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> Just the News on Wednesday that the alleged 2015 meeting in Washington, D.C., could prove Biden&#8217;s direct involvement in his son&#8217;s foreign business dealings.
&#8220;That has full-blown access and participation by then-Vice President Joe Biden,&#8221; Greene said.
&#8220;The American people need to know about all of this,&#8221; she added. &#8220;And that&#8217;s what our impeachment inquiry will produce — the evidence . . . This is exactly why we are leading the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden, because he has participated at the highest level in his son Hunter Biden&#8217;s business deals, and we&#8217;re going to show that to the country.&#8221;

House Republicans are probing the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/state-department" target="_blank" rel="noopener">State Department</a> over its “perception” of former Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin in 2015 after then-Vice President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid to the country if Shokin was not fired.
In a Tuesday <a href="https://justthenews.com/sites/default/files/2023-09/Letter%20to%20Secretary%20Blinken%20re%20Shokin.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">letter</a>, Rep. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/james-comer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">James Comer</a> (R-KY), the chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, asked Secretary of State Antony Blinken to provide more context on “certain sudden foreign policy changes” related to Ukraine and Shokin’s firing. 
Biden has been accused of pushing Shokin&#8217;s firing to protect his son, Hunter Biden, who was then on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company facing corruption allegations. The White House has <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2020/10/21/fact-check-joe-biden-leveraged-ukraine-aid-oust-corrupt-prosecutor/5991434002/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claimed</a> that the move was because Shokin was not pursuing corruption in Ukraine. 
The letter is part of the committee’s work investigating Biden’s “connections to certain international and domestic business transactions and practices, including his family and associates peddling influence to generate millions of dollars for the Biden family.”
“Shokin was elevated to lead the Office of the Prosecutor General in the midst of an ongoing, international investigation focused on corruption surrounding Burisma — a natural gas company in Ukraine — and its founder, Mykola Zlochevsky,” the letter said. 
Comer said that the State Department was initially favorable toward Shokin at the beginning of 2015 but later decided to push for his firing. Comer cited a letter from State Department official Victoria Nuland “applauding” Shokin’s anti-corruption efforts. He also pointed to a memo from the Interagency Policy Committee that showed in September 2015 that another $1 billion loan to Ukraine would be approved. 
Sometime later, though, the State Department policy toward Shokin cooled, and it began pressuring Ukrainian officials to fire him. 
“On November 5, 2015, then-Vice President participated in a call with then-President of Ukraine Poroshenko and provided no indication that the United States’ policy regarding Ukraine required the dismissal of Prosecutor General Shokin. By late 2015, however, the removal of Prosecutor General Shokin became a condition of the loan guarantee by the United States,” Comer’s letter said.

According to the letter and comments from Hunter associate Devon Archer, the pressure for the termination came as Burisma corporate secretary Vadym Pozharsky was pushing Hunter to &#8220;deliver help from the U.S. government.&#8221; Archer said that Hunter “called D.C.” in December 2015 for a call with Burisma officials, a claim that House Republicans are still investigating. 
Comer wants the State Department to provide calls, emails, and memos all related to policy on Burisma, Shokin, Burisma, and the billion-dollar U.S. loan to Ukraine.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is being sued to turn over approximately 5,400 emails connected to then-Vice President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden">Joe Biden&#8217;s</a> pseudonym accounts to forward government information and business with his son, Hunter Biden, and others.
Southeastern Legal Foundation (SLF) filed a federal lawsuit against the agency on Monday after NARA officials confirmed with other sources that Biden used three personal pseudonym email accounts under the names Robin Ware, Robert L. Peters, and JRB Ware but has since &#8220;dragged its feet and still has not produced a single email,&#8221; the law group said in a <a href="https://www.slfliberty.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/12/2023/08/20230828-SLF-v.-NARA-Press-Release-Final.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">news release</a>.
&#8220;All too often, public officials abuse their power by using it for their personal or political benefit,&#8221; Kimberly Hermann, general counsel for the legal foundation, said. &#8220;When they do, many seek to hide it. The only way to preserve governmental integrity is for NARA to release Biden&#8217;s nearly 5,400 emails to SLF and thus the public. The American public deserves to know what is in them.&#8221;
The group identified thousands of potentially responsive records from NARA after submitting a Freedom of Information Act request in June in its latest effort to investigate allegations that Biden communicated with Hunter regarding his foreign business dealings dating back to 2017.
SLF attorneys first asked the federal agency to release Biden&#8217;s emails in 2021. However, NARA officials reportedly failed to comply, claiming it did not have custody of his records before January 2017 and could only make the emails public in January 2022.
&#8220;Public transparency is the most vital check the citizens have for holding our political class accountable,&#8221; Braden Boucek, litigation director for SLF, said. &#8220;After over a year of trying to work with NARA, its continued unreasonable delays have forced SLF to file this lawsuit.&#8221;
The lawsuit comes after House Republicans began looking into President Biden&#8217;s alleged use of a fake name to mask his identity as they ramp up an investigation into the first family.
Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) sent a letter to NARA requesting all unredacted records and communications regarding Biden&#8217;s official duties as vice president that overlapped Hunter&#8217;s activities with Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, which employed the then-vice president&#8217;s son on its board for several years. The lucrative arrangement has drawn scrutiny by investigators in addition to other foreign business ventures. Joe Biden served as vice president from January 2009 to January 2017.
In particular, Comer said he seeks documents in which the elder Biden allegedly used a pseudonym; his son&#8217;s former business partners Hunter Biden, Eric Schwerin, or Devon Archer are copied; and all drafts of then-Vice President Biden&#8217;s speech delivered to Ukraine&#8217;s parliament in December 2015.
&#8220;The Committee is concerned that foreign nationals have sought access and influence by engaging in lucrative business relationships with high-profile political figures&#8217; immediate family members, including members of the Biden family,&#8221; Comer wrote.
A NARA spokesperson <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/comer-seeks-records-of-biden-allegedly-using-pseudonym-as-vice-president" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> The Daily Wire that the agency received the request and will respond in accordance with the requirements of the Presidential Records Act.

Former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin — who said he was fired after then-Vice President Joe Biden pressured the president of Ukraine to terminate him as he investigated Burisma, said in a recent interview that he believes Biden and his son, Hunter, were being bribed by the company.
Shokin claims he was fired toward the end of the Obama administration when Vice President Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid if Shokin was not let go.
In an interview with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade broadcast on Saturday, Shokin said there were never complaints about how he did his job and that the entire ordeal &#8220;humiliated&#8221; his country. He said Hunter Biden was placed on Burisma&#8217;s board of directors to protect CEO and founder Mykola Zlochevsky.
&#8220;I have no doubt that there were illegal activities engaged in by Burisma,&#8221; he said. &#8220;As a matter of fact, the criminal case had been started before me. It continued to expand and Zlochevsky, who at the time held the post of minister and was the founder and CEO of Burisma, started bringing in people who could provide protection for him. Hunter Biden was among them and the corruption network expanded as a result. So, yes, to answer your question, there was no doubt in my mind that Burisma was engaged in illegal activities.&#8221;
Shokin said he was fired because had he continued his investigation, he would have &#8220;found the facts about the corrupt activities that they were engaging in.&#8221;
He said it would take &#8220;half a day&#8221; to detail all the different counts that prosecutors were looking at and that the company was involved in illegally producing and selling gas.

When asked if Joe Biden or Hunter Biden were getting bribes, Shokin answered, &#8220;I do not want to deal in unproven facts, but my firm personal conviction is that, yes, this was the case.&#8221;
&#8220;They were being bribed,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And the fact that Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in U.S. money in exchange for my dismissal, my firing, isn&#8217;t that alone a case of corruption?&#8221;

Last week, the House Oversight Committee released a bombshell letter to the Archivist of the United States at the National Archives and Records Administration, asking for all records and emails related to a particular email address. The email address was not the official email address that Joe Biden used when he was vice president of the United States. Instead, it was a secret email address that he allegedly used at that time.
We have known about a series of names that were found in Hunter Biden’s laptop since 2021. One of those names was “Robert L. Peters.” Robert L. Peters, it turns out, was a pseudonym — the committee has now identified it as then-Vice President Biden. You start to get into dicey territory when you have official members of the federal government using alternative email addresses or pseudonymous email addresses in order to email.
Hillary Clinton had a private email server. There have been other people in the past who have had private email addresses. If those private email addresses are dealing with private business, that’s one thing. But if they are dealing with outside business activities and the pseudonyms were being used as a Chinese firewall to screen those outside business activities from any sort of discovery, that’s a real problem.

The committee questioned why Hunter Biden — and only Hunter Biden — was copied on this email to then-Vice President Biden. They’re saying that Joe Biden was using a false email address to email his son about a call he had just had with the then-head of Ukraine.

Joe Biden has long been a deeply corrupt human being. His corruption goes all the way back to his first Senate race. There were serious allegations that in his first Senate race, people related to the Biden campaign worked alongside members of the local union to prevent the dissemination of a newspaper that contained an insert for his Republican opponent, that the union was basically told to create a picket line.
The newspaper didn’t go out that day, thus boosting Biden to his first senatorial victory in Delaware. From then on, it’s been an unbroken series of scandals involving Biden, family members, and money. The scandals range from family members, who were absolutely not credit worthy, receiving money from banks who lent money they shouldn’t have because they knew he was the senator from Delaware; to his sons receiving jobs they certainly should not have had; to Hunter Biden running around in foreign precincts, picking up bags of cash under the Biden name.
Joe Biden has always hidden behind plausible deniability: I was never directly involved; I was not involved in any way, shape, or form. But it’s been perfectly obvious to everybody that he was deeply involved in every way, shape, and form. After all, how does a man who earned approximately $200,000 a year for his entire career in the Senate end up buying mansions worth millions?
How does that happen? How does he end up with these giant houses? How is all that money flowing? How does Hunter Biden, one of the most derelict human beings ever to walk the Earth, clear millions and millions of dollars over the course of the last decade for being a complete ne’er-do-well. How does Joe Biden’s brother James clear a bunch of money? How does his brother Frank clear a bunch of money? How are all these people now extremely wealthy? How does that happen — unless Biden is actively interested in them doing really well by using his name.
He knows that they’re using his name.
But…
This would be the first evidence that Joe Biden was directly involved. We have a lot of indirect evidence that he was involved, ranging from testimonies by Devon Archer to Tony Bobulinski, and pictures of Joe with various business dignitaries that Hunter was cultivating. But this would be actual communications to Hunter Biden about the business, which would be the first that we have seen at this point in writing.
Wait until the White House brushes this off, saying, “What are you even talking about? We have no obligation to turn over those emails. How do you know they’re even about Petro Poroshenko? How do you know what those are about? Those are private emails.”
The arrogance and level of duplicity is astonishing.

New Document May Lead To Joe Biden’s Direct Involvement In Corruption

Entanglements with President Joe Biden&#8217;s embattled son <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/cnn-contributor-triggers-liberal-panel-its-not-republicans-who-made-hunter-biden-into-a-complete-scumbag" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hunter Biden</a> could potentially bring down high-powered California attorney Kevin Morris — who was recently spotted reportedly smoking a bong on the balcony of his Malibu home.
Morris, a longtime Democrat donor who was best known for throwing money around in Hollywood — helping to broker a licensing deal for &#8220;South Park,&#8221; among other things — has been linked to Hunter Biden since 2019 in what the New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/08/10/hunter-bidens-sugar-brother-kevin-morris-could-be-prosecuted-for-lies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">called</a> &#8220;more of a bromance than an attorney-client relationship.&#8221;
According to the Post&#8217;s report, Morris earned a reputation as <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/comer-hits-doj-over-odd-timing-of-letter-requesting-hunter-biden-business-partner-report-to-prison" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hunter&#8217;s</a> &#8220;Sugar Brother&#8221; — in addition to allegedly acting as a &#8220;fixer&#8221; for the president&#8217;s son, Morris may have assisted in marketing and selling some of his paintings and reportedly loaned him the money when he needed to pay back $2 million in federal tax debt.
But his relationship with the younger Biden could potentially get him into trouble with the California State Bar.
The trouble stems from an accusation made in 2022 by Irish filmmaker Phelim McAleer — who claimed that Morris <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/05/10/my-son-hunter-producer-accuses-bidens-lawyer-pal-of-spying-on-filmmakers/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">used false pretenses</a> to infiltrate the set of his Hunter Biden exposé film &#8220;My Son Hunter.&#8221;
According to McAleer, Morris and two others arrived on the film&#8217;s set in Serbia via private jet and claimed to be working on a documentary of their own. Based on that information, McAleer said he gave them access to the set and even allowed them to interview him and others connected with the project.
But later, upon learning that Morris was actually working as an &#8220;attorney and trusted advisor&#8221; for Hunter Biden, McAleer said certain instances began to make more sense.
&#8220;They seemed to never switch the camera off – now I know why. This was an information gathering exercise by a lawyer and his associates for their client,&#8221; he said of the trio that had come to the film set. &#8220;Now that I know of his representation of Hunter Biden, his questions while they were filming suddenly make a lot of sense. I thought he was just making a documentary but now it appears he was deceptively spying for his client Hunter Biden.&#8221;

According to the Post&#8217;s report, the State Bar’s Office of Chief Trial counsel has officially placed Morris under investigation — and informed McAleer that the investigation could potentially lead to prosecution.
